Episode description

Ever hear the word protocol and cringe? Do you feel it takes away from individual treatment plans?

In today’s podcast Lynn describes what she means when she talks about protocols.

At the Institute for Birth Healing a protocol is a suggestion for the order to treat certain areas of the body to achieve the best results in the least amount of time. Protocols are not step-by-step treatment techniques to getting your clients better but a suggestion for how to move through the body. Ultimately, your treatment will be guided by what you find in the body when listening to what your client and their body is telling you.

In general, Lynn’s protocol is to treat bones with techniques you find necessary for that client, then move on to assessing the pelvic floor, then assess and treat the pelvic organs, then go back to treat the pelvic floor. This pattern decreases time required to achieve positive results with a client.

If you are interested in finding out more about the treatment method mentioned today join the waitlist for Lynn’s new course launching October 2, 2023: Treating the Postpartum Pelvis
