Based on the true story of Mildred Flatau’s miraculous escape from domestic violence.

Based on newspaper accounts and historical records along with Mildred’s own diary, author Linda D’Ae-Smith tells Mildred’s story of survival from a horrific day of violence on March 17, 1933 and how Mildred’s faith was pivotal in her perseverance.
