Chloe Klaus is a first-time children's book author and illustrator. She lives in Mont Clare, Pennsylvania, is a mental health professional in Pottstown, and is the Chair of the Board of Directors for the nonprofit environmental organization, Green Allies.
Chloe first started writing "Treasure of the Reef" in 2017 while staying with family in Perth, Australia. The book was inspired by her lifelong love (bordering on obsession) of mermaids and her passion for environmental education.
During this interview Chloe covers various aspects of her author journey including her love of mermaids and environmental education.
