All right, Billy cunning Into Great American Welcome this Sunday night, Durha Memorial Day weekend. In fact, even sixty minutes at a fair report a few hours ago on the sacrifice of American soldiers. It was a story about a twenty nine year old sealed team member who killed himself at the age of twenty nine, and his father, who names Larkin, who's a hero's working his damness to make sure that
it's understood what happens through traumatic brain injury. It might not be one event like an ied, could be thousands of bullets fired with the sound and the reverberations and one good thing. Every now and then, sixty minutes has a lucid report, and tonight was one of them. But I first, want to begin by acknowledging the sacrifice of about one point one million Americans who gave their life, which is why we celebrate Memorial Day, which is tomorrow
Memorial Day Week. And hopefully you had time to attend to parade or go to a cemetery where the veterans the dead had been buried, and remember what they've done for us, and take advantage of the opportunities they provided, especially also the family members left behind right now, there's about twenty five thousand spouse is who are living right now with a loved one who died giving his life for this country, along with forty thousand parents and grandparents
and children and left behind. And we can never do enough for our veterans. And just remember today it's not Veterans Day, it's not Independence Day. It's to acknowledge the dead by one point one million who died in sacrificing. Later on, Danny Gleeson, my executive producer, is going to play a little two and a half three minute cut from We Are Soldiers with Mel Gibson, which is a fabulous recitation of the hero the heroic values of the
American soldier. And if you have time, Tony to look at the remarks of General Douglas MacArthur in nineteen sixty four when he received the Thayer Award. It's the duty, honor and country speech and download it, read it, and it describes definitively what the American soldier is. But thanks for listening. As you travel thither and fro. There's something like fifty million Americans going somewhere tonight, and hopefully you have a safe exit in return to your home. Now
let's continue. We have lots of coming in tonight, including a call from Israel relative a man there named Neir Solomon, who is going to comment on the murder of those two diplomats in the Israeli embassy about a week ago, and the reaction of Iran seemingly backing the murderer and offering praise for what the murderer did, you know, Free Palestine, Free, free Palestine, that kind of stuff. And I have a
guest come on to address himself to that. Plus later later on, as Leland Vinterck of News Nation about Biden's a mental decline, more and more came out over the weekend after the book of Jake Tapper. I think my good friend Sean Hannity calls him fake Jake Tapper, who kept secret the information he knew about Joe Biden's mental decline beginning about five or six years ago from his employer CNN, you know, the Clinton New Network, the cable news network of which he's a proud The face of
the News network is Jake Tapper. He didn't tell us the truth about what he knew until he could write a book and get paid for it. That's wonderful. So we have a guest coming up later to address himself to that, and also the great Scott Powell as a story up on Discovery Network and also on Newsmax and my friend Christopher Ruddy in which we're going to discuss with you the remarks of Senator Ron Johnson and Wisconsin. Of course, you and I have great respect for conservatism.
We have great respect for those who want to build and not destroy. We have great respect for those who want to pay and not be freeloaders. We have great respect for the achievers in our society and not those are right on the back of the achievers. And Senator Ron Johnson did an interview on news Max and what he said repeatedly and every every time I listen to Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, and he makes it, he makes
more sense. He makes a point that despite the efforts of Donald Trump and Speaker Johnson and a majority leader Thuon John Thune to raid in federal spending, they haven't done it. Every time I hear or see a so called newsperson saying there's cuts to medicaid, I want to jump through the listening device or my TV screen because it's a lie. There are no cuts to anything in the federal program. Federal budget only increases. Ron Johnson points
out some facts. You know, facts are stubborn things. And number one, during the eight years of Barack Hussein Obama, he averaged one point nine trillion dollars of deficits. So write that down if you can, Obama, I'm sorry, I'm want to rescind the record. Obama averaged nine hundred and ten billion dollars of deficits per year over eight years. That was about approximately eight trillion dollars in deficit spending adding to the budget. And then, of course Donald Trump
was elected for four pretty good years. In the first four years, the Donald Trump, as you may know, averaged on averaged of two point two trillion dollars. He blames the last year, of course was COVID, but nonetheless, approximately, Donald Trump in eight years his first term added eight
more trillion dollars to the federal deficit. And so it's eight years with Obama, eight years with Trump, and then Biden comes into office, and those around in the Pollot Bureau around Joe Biden added about another over four years, eight trillion dollars. So since twenty eight we've added about twenty four trillion dollars to the national debt. And so Senator Johnson makes the point. He says, quote, I'm sorry the house build to probably add, I've calculated about four
trillion more. You're saying that's on top of already the budget at for trillion over the next ten years. That means Donald Trump's going to average in his second four years another eight trillion dollars in deficit spending. And I know you recall the chainsaw and doze cuts, all of which are very important, no question about it. Those who's
done a great job. In fact, I'm looking at a story here with doctor Oz who's discovered the something to the range of twenty four billion dollars in double payments by Medicaid twenty four billion. That's a lot of money. Doze talks about savings of one hundred and fifty billion, Well, that's a lot of money. But from Senator Johnson's perspective, quote, one of my disappointments with what the House process is about the number we have even heard of one point
five trillion. That's every year for ten years, one hundred and fifty billion. That's one point five trillion, which is great, he says, but that's a drop of the bucket. It's a rounding error. It's not that important a number. He says that ten years from now, on the glide path that we're on, we're gonna add two trillion dollars a year, which is twenty trillion dollars more. On top of thirty seven, you're looking at fifty seven trillion dollars in non serviceable debt.
And you know what happens when you have non serviceable debt, it's bankruptcy or default. There's got to be an urgency and can it be done? Absolutely? Will it be done? Absolutely not. In fact, the two members of the House that voted no was my guest last Sunday, Congressman Warren Davidson, who told you, I'm not going to vote for this thing because it doesn't cut federal spending at all. In fact,
he said it increases it. Same way with Thomas Massy of Northern Kentucky, another one of my friends and congressman. In fact, the two congressmen who voted against it our guest on this show, and I know them both well, and they said, at some point, we got to acknowledge
that we don't have the money. Now. When I watched Bill Hammer and others talk to Scott Bissett, the Treasury secretary, he talked about dynamic scoring, which is, how do you know the increased economic activity that will be caused by these minuscal tax cuts and without cause more money to come into the treasury. The answer is, yes, it probably will, but the spending is the problem. Give you an example in twenty twenty one, four years ago. We're not talking
about nineteen fifties. I'm talking twenty twenty one. The federal spending in that year was four point seven trillion dollars in twenty twenty one. Beginning in October of twenty twenty five, what about four months from now, it's going to be about seven trillion dollars. How's that possible? And in fact, the irs will bring in this year about five trillion dollars in taxes and tariff. Some people like you and
I great majority of us pay our taxes. I think taxes are rent to live in the greatest country in the world. So yes, So if we return the federal budget to twenty twenty spending levels, we have about a four hundred billion dollar deficit every year. But we can't do that, not even close. So make no mistake about it. I love Ron Johnson. I love what he stands for. And we have to limit the size and the scope of government and make it work efficiently and effectively. And
the spending has got to stop. We don't have a revenue problem, we have a spending problem. And when there's little more tax cuts being administered, maybe five point one trillion in income tax receipts might be five point two trillion or five point three trillion, But then we're going to spend north of seven trillion dollars on an annual budget. Can we return to the spending levels of twenty twenty one? The answer is no. The media will not allow it,
Democrats don't want it. And ninety nine percent of Republicans don't want it. They want to spend money on different things that Democrats spend money on. And it's a miracle.
You know.
One of the things in life is you want to maintain the status quo, and you're a complete denial. And we have ten trillion dollars in debt borrowed at two percent coming due in the next nine months, ten trillion, and that's going to triple the interest rate paid on those funds. Right now, we pay over one trillion dollars a year just an interest on the national debt, which
isn't very sexy, but it's real numbers. And we're on the glide path under Donald Trump, and I'm sure the next president to keep borrowing two trillion dollars every year.
In fact, the GOEO has scored the passage of the bill by Speaker Mike Johnson and that over the next ten years we need to come up with twenty trillion dollars of money just to pay the accumulated national debt over those ten years, which is an additional twenty trillion dollars on top of the thirty seven trillion my simple Deer Park High School Matt tells me, that's fifty seven trillion dollars in accumulated debt. How is this possible? In the year twenty oh one, the accumulated national debt was
four trillion. Now it's thirty seven trillion, what eight and a half times, and it's accelerating. It's not there's no cuts, real cuts to any federal spending program. So how do we get out of it? Number one by telling the truth? Number two by saying we have to live within our means. Very simple. We have a guest coming up later to address himself to this. And I understand that the Trumpster and the Republicans are not happy with Warren Davidson of
Ohio and Thomas Massey of Kentucky. But there were two persons that stood up and said, we're not cutting federal spending. At the bottom line, we're spending more money and we're still going to borrow two trillion dollars over every year as far as the eye can see. According to CBO, the deficits average two point two trillion over ten years. That's twenty two trillion, But if you have dynamic scoring,
the number might be closer to twenty trillion. Borrowed in ten years, which is two and a half times the money we borrowed from seventeen seventy six to two thousand and one. Think of the world events that took place from the Revolutionary War through nine to eleven, and the spending is accelerating, it is not decelerating. We're passing on in five or ten years to our children a non
sustainable course of action. Completely. No one is saying that we can continue to have these deficits and the deficits yearly and the accumulated debt without having a complete bankruptcy happening in this country. Let's continue and if line becomes available. We have two lines in use and we have Gale from Pennsylvania will be first. We have four lines open at eight six, six, six, four, seven, seven, three three seven.
If you want to spend time on the sacrifice of the American soldier, Memorial Day weekend is for that purpose. Plant an American flag somewhere at the grave of a soldier that has died in battle or a veteran that gave all, came home and lived a great life and has met his reward, because we can never repay them sufficiently. And also later on, We're going to talk about the mental acuity of one Joe Biden, who was the president of the past four years. It wasn't Joe Biden, likely
Hunter Biden, Anita Dunn, and maybe Donalin. And Hunter Biden controlled everything, and the media couldn't have cared less because they kept they think Donald Trump out of the White House. So let's continue eight six six six four seven, seven three three seven Bill cunning in the Great America with you every Sunday night by Bill cunning in the Great America.
And you know what Jake Tapper and the NBC, ABC, CBS, the Washington Post headquartered in Washington has been wanting us to believe the last few weeks is that they were like a piano player in a house of ill repute, playing their music without knowing what's happening upstairs. It's a bunch of bs. And now that the truth is coming out because of these books by Jake Tapper and others saying no, wait a minute, we didn't have a president
for four years and he was mentally corrupt. He was also financially used by Hunter Biden to benefit the Biden family the tune of millions of dollars where's the investigation for that wire fraud, bribery, etc. I'm waiting for those
indictments to come out of somebody. Because the Biden family the crime syd to get made millions of dollars, according to Congressman Comer of Kentucky, and they used their influence, shall I say, Hunter Biden and the Biden family used their influence to make millions of dollars in others suffering financial calamities because the gravy train is over and so I can't imagine how Jake Tapper and the main anchors of the main networks keep any credibility when they had
dropped in their lap the obvious story that we didn't have a president for four years that was mentally alert. He put a lid on activities about four o'clock in the afternoon, spent half of his time on a beach somewhere stumbling, mumbling and fumbling in Delaware, and the media watched it all going on without inquiring about the president's mental status. And now some want to benefit through their
own mistakes, errors and cover up. Jake Tapper, CNN, the Clinton News Network participated in the cover up of the president's mental instability and then failed to report in real time what was occurring because he had to wait to make millions of dollars writing a book. I don't know how CNN keeps them. I don't know how CNN keeps any of the anchors. The main anchor of CBS is gone. Leicester Hold is stepping down, thank god. David Muer's only when left and us like watching left wing propaganda half
the time? Where were they for the four years that Joe Biden was not the president? And that's some coterie or a pilot bureau of leftists were in charge doing whatever they wanted to do to the chagrin of this nation. I heard the argument, Well, give me an example how Joe Biden didn't do his job. Well, how about on the southern border with ten to twelve million illegals coming across it. How about the decision someone made in Kabo,
Afghanistan resulting in the murder of thirteen service personnel. How about the responses to the invasion of Ukraine, or what happened in what happened in Gaza with Hamas October the seventh of a year and a half ago. How about all that? How about the fact that he added eight trillion dollars to the national debt and only four years. How about the fact that ninety three billion dollars was funneled out of the EPA to liftist groups to be
kicked back to the Democratic Party. Should I go on with the number of lies and hoaxes perpetuated by the mainstream media who now seek to financially benefit from not doing their job. I hope not. Let's continue take your calls next. We have calls from Wisconsin, in Pennsylvania and Fort Wayne, Indiana and Cincinnati have a couple of lines open at eight six six six four seven seven three
three seven. I particularly like to work holiday weekends, especially this one, because I love complimenting the American soldier, sailor, and marine and the sacrifices so many have made. Some gave the ultimate sacrifice, some gave all, and all gave some. And for those veterans who are listening, thank you for
your sacrifices. Let's continue with more. Phil Cunningham, The Great American with you every Sunday by Billy Cunningham, The Great American and one of my favorite movies was put together about twenty three years ago, of course, by Mel Gibson starring him and Sam Elliott. I loved him. I loved Sam Elliott, especially in some of the some of the recent films that he's had. I think Sam Elliott is
wonderful and especially when he deals with Western characters. And great Kanear was there and tell us the story of one of the first battles of the Vietnam War when Mel Gibson and Sam Elliott led a group of Green recruits into the Valley of Death, which was the first one of the first major conflicts between the American soldiers
in North Vietnam depicted in this movie. And this is about a two minute segment I want to share with you now to talk about Melt Gibson, what he said as they were getting ready for battle and Danny Boy Gleason hit it.
In the seventh Cavalry.
We got a captain from the.
Ukraine, another from Puerto Rico. We've got Japanese, Chinese, Blacks, Hispanics, Jerokee, Indians, Jews, and Gentiles, all Americans.
In the States.
Some men in this unit may experience discrimination.
Because of race or creed, but for you and me.
Now.
All that is gone.
We're moving into the Valley of the shadow of death, where you will watch the back of the man next to you as he will watch yours, and you won't care what color he is or by what name he calls. God.
They say we're leaving home. We're going to what home was always supposed to be. So let us understand the situation.
We are going into battle against a tough and determined enemy. I can't promise you and I will bring you all home alive.
But this I swear.
Before you and before Almighty God, that when we go into battle, I will be the first to set foot on the field, and I will be the last to step off, and I will leave no.
One behind.
Dead or alive.
We will all come home together. So help me God, Now, fifteen thousand of my generation did not come home except in a body bag or in remembrances. And the sacrifices of the American soldier, despite the political machinations of LBJ and Richard Nixon, is for the history books. But owen can question the sacrifice of a great nation trying to
free the people of Vietnam. And of course, the political leaders knew early on McNamara and Johnson, etc. That we weren't going to use the right military prescriptions to win the war. We wanted to compete in that war and not win, So there was bitterness felt by many of my generation about the purposes of that war. And now I guess we're in a sense friends with Vietnam. It's united under a communist leader who's trending toward capitalism, and it's a war that was eventually won by the regulars
of the north of Vietnam took over Saigon. And it's the way it is, same thing almost in South Korea. We had to have victory there. And tonight's the night when something in the range and what for a six hundred thousand civil war veterans on both sides were killed. Four hundred thousand were killed in World War II, then the various other conflicts brings the sad number up to about war one point one to one point two million. It gave their life, and many come home they never
really are free of those battles. I share with you on Father's Day coming up in about three weeks, the story of my father who fought in Guadalcanal and the Solomon Islands and in China, and that he was in for two and a half years and Uh, he was a grunt and he came back a different person. Of course I wasn't even born yet, but the stories I heard later about what he went through as an alcoholic trying to forget what he saw and what he did, is something that caused a little bit of guilt in
me until the day I die. Because he left, couldn't handle it anymore. I called, you know, shell shocked, whatever you want to say. It's now PTSD, but at that point it wasn't recognized as such. I guess he was one of the lucky ones that came home. And uh, after World War Two, about four hundred thousand didn't come home, and their and their graves mark the land and about seventy five different nations. So we try to spread packs from out Mayrkana to the world, sometimes with success and
sometimes not. Let's take some telephone calls and if the line becomes available eight six six six four seven seven three three seven, let's go to a Mark in Wisconsin and many others including Gale in Pennsylvania and Mark and Wisconsin. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham, Shaw and Mark. How are you.
I'm doing fine, How are you tonight?
Doing well? Thank you?
Well, happy Memorial Eve.
Yeah, it's kind of tough to say have a great Memorial Day or happy Memorial Day. It's kind of remembering one point one to one point two million men and women that gave their life. It's a remembrance more than happy. But I understand what you're saying.
Yeah, I should rephrase it, and I totally agree with you on ed. My point is is, I'm going to go along with this long story short. I think Tamper and Karine Jean Pierre should share an award for, you know, co championship for gas lighting. Tamper is going to write this book, and you know, I've heard enough interviews where
he's just totally contradictory. Uh guess, you know, just gas lighting the heck out of all the interviews that I've heard, and I just kind of wonder, is, uh, you know, whether Pierre is going to come up with a book too, I mean, why not if he can pull off Posi Shenan against I don't know why she would make the same kind of attempt.
Allegedly allegedly that both of them the authors. I don't blame his co author, but Jake Tapper is paid to report the news when he learns of it, and he said repeatedly, I've known about this for months and I didn't report it until until after he left office in order to keep Donald Trump out of office in order to maybe make him lose, which caused the opposite effect. Normally, you intend one thing to do another. If you kind of run CNN, how do you keep Jake Tapper employed?
You don't? I mean that interview with Kelly.
Was just awful.
Mean, Kelly did a great job.
She did, she did absolutely, but I mean if that didn't rad him out, I.
Don't know what would.
And how he can keep a straight face after that, and had the audacity to write a book to insult the American intelligence is just beyond my comprehension. I mean, that is just pathetic. That's why I say, I wonder if you know as bad as I mean, Fortunately we have Caroline Lovett. At least you have somebody in the White House Press secret there to give you honesty versus all that baloney that he had to listen to for four sick name years of listening to Karine John Pierre.
I mean, she was brutal, absolutely brutal.
Well Mark. One other factor is that the twenty fifth
Amendment is created for exactly Joe Biden's situation. And I watched Saturday morning the interview of Alex Thompson, the co author with Jake Tapper of the book and the co author of the book Original Sin said with nine AM on Saturday morning, he said that the cabinet members he spoke with knew that Joe Biden would not be capable of taking a two am telephone call in which there was in a military crisis that demanded the president to act, and that the reason the twenty fifth Amendment exists is
to have the vice president, along with half the cabinet, to temporarily take away the powers of the president case the president is disabled in some sense and can't perform the duties. Now, so you have Kamala Harris taking an oath of office to support and defend the constitution that she trashed, and most of the cabinet members knew that Joe Biden could not discharge the duty, but none of them had the guts to step forward and do their duty.
And Alex Thompson yesterday morning on CNN, it was unbelievable to watch him relate in the book that the cabinet knew they had a mentally incompetent commander in chief that put American soldiers in their grave at Kamala, Afghanistan, and they didn't have the coyonies or the judgment to step forward and do their constitutional duty. What do you think about that one?
Well, you know you already kind of touched on this, But Joe couldn't even take a phone call at two pm because you'd be on the beach in Delaware totally unaware of anything that was going on, you know there. I mean, well, you know everybody knows that you know, he has any il say, just half a brain. This guy was nothing more than a prop for four years. I mean, in my opinion, I think things were being run by you.
Know who who was running?
I think I think it was Obama's third term.
Nettwire was his people proliferated throughout the executive branch of government, and they were calling Barack Hussein Obama regularly to say what to do, how to do it, who to appoint? And And you know, Mark, isn't that a big story if we have a dysfunctional president and the presidency was taken over by this coterie, this pollit Bureau of Individuals and the media knew what was going on and failed to report it. Isn't that a big problem?
Well?
Yeah, I mean, you know, again we're back to that gifts lighting propaganda press thing. I mean, I think, you know, aside from any particular governmental branch, I think the propaganda press supersedes everything. Because we're kind of getting back to what my original point is. The gas lighting is that severe that you know, how much duping is going on across the nation over the airwaves, To me, is is insurmountable.
I mean, you know, bottom line is is how many people buy into what they hear if they don't have enough discretion and discernment to figure out the difference between truth and line.
It used to be you could kind of rely upon the so called mainstream media every now and then to get it right. But they've lied so often about so many important things. I trust nothing of what they tell me because they have a long history of track record of lying or not telling the truth about important matters that really, really, really are important. Do we have a president that is functional? And when Michael for Connish asked Alex Thompson about the two am telephone call that oh,
my god, you got to make it. You hear the commander in chief and the cabinet officials said we wouldn't even wake him up because he's dysfunctional. Isn't it then their job to step forward?
Well, you know it's worse than that. And again again this is more of my opinion. But now, if our current commander in chief, obviously is Donald Trump, when he has to make a critical decision as commander in chief, he could very well be overruled by one of these rogue judges.
That's probably some idiot district.
Judge by the way, that we'll try to undermine him while our country is it is in jeopardy of some major overthrow.
And right now we have district court judges appointed by the far left wing of the Joe who appointed these district court judges, it was not Joe Biden. It was Anita Dunn or it was Ron Klain, the far left wing activist who wanted to take over the foreign policy of this country, and they're being allowed to do it by a passive, complacent US Supreme Court who I thought were conservatives.
Well yeah, I mean, you know now that you mentioned and where's Amy Komi Bart in this whole scheme of things.
Here and find it. What a search warrant? Yeah, and
I'm thinking, okay, who's running this show? I mean, it is disgusting to hear Alex Thompson on the book with Jake Tapper the original sin to say that the cabinet officials and the vice president lied to us for years about the mental cognitive functioning of Joe Biden, and they had the duty to step forward for the country to say that the twenty fifth amendmentis hereby imposed, and sadly, Kamala Harris is the acting president until there's a hearing held to determine what to do. And they put the
nation's survivability at risk by failing to do so. And now the media, having known that, wants is to continue to pay attention to what they have to say, and I don't anymore. Let's continue. By the way, it's somewhat surprising, but the New York Knicks have beaten the Indiana Pacers one six to one hundred. How about that. I don't think that was possible. The Knicks are back at it.
Let's continue with more forty nine minutes after the hour and a couple of lines available at eight six, six, six, four, seven, seven three three seven, Bill Cunning and the Great American with you every Sunday Night. A couple of news items a couple hours ago. Duck Dynasty star and Robertson family patriarch Phil Robertson died a few hours ago at the age of seventy nine. His son announced via Twitter X he said, my dad has gone to be with the Lord today. He will be missed, but we know he's
in good hands and our family is good. Because God is good. We will see him again as from his family, from his son and the Robertson made his name inventing a innovative duck call for hunters to use in the nineteen seventies, leading the success of the company Duck Commander. His family then became famous for their portrayal in the reality show Duck Dynasty that ad that aired in the
night and about ten or fifteen years ago. I also would note that an American has been charged with an attempt to fire bomb the American Embassy in Tel Aviv. Well yours truly a year and a half ago spent some time a dual US German citizen allegedly intended to firebomb the US embassy in Tel Aviv, Israel, faces many years behind bars, and Joseph Neumayer born in Colorado, approached the embassy in May nineteenth one carrying a dark colored backpack and spit on an embassy guard and tempted to
use Molotov cocktails to blow up that embassy. It was tracked to a nearby hotel. They arrested him after identified himself and the backpack was Molotov cocktails. And of course he was yelling free Palestine, Free Palestine, which the Prime Minister of Israel is similar to Hyle Hitler. And of course history has taught us that unless we understand what's happened in the past, it will be repeated in the future. The Nazi regime hooked up with Islamic extremists to kill
Jews in the nineteen thirties and forties. They were compatriots during World War Two. Here we are about eighty ninety years later, and we're still fighting it. The Gulf states that have succeeded militarily shall we and diplomatically and economically have made peace through the Abraham Accords with Israel. But the states that are failures, such as Iran, needs a
scapegoat for the failure of their domestic policies. And so the death cult of Hamas and Hesbala and Boca Haram and the Talibam, etc. Is best exhibited than Iran, which has failed every which way it can fail as the government, but they need to escapegoat, and of course it's the Jews. So according everything I've read, the attack on the Iranian nuclear facilities are going to happen in the next week
or two, and it has to take place. We're gonna have a guest coming up later to talk about it here, Solomon, But until then, your calls, but you can't get on the outskirts of Berlin and let the Nazis stay in charge of Berlin. And at this point Iran is ready to fall, and they think they're going to be in heaven with us seventy two virgins. And if I was the Israeli, he's how to arrange the meeting. Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham with you every.
Sunday night, Willie.
Thank you.
By Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice hotels dot com. Know one of the many lies told by the media is that Joe Biden as sharp as attack. You might recall the kJ and Kamala Harris on the night of the June twenty seventh debate when Biden showed himself and his true colors said he had a bad night, had a cold. But that's not that Joe Biden, I know. And they spent the next several days lying to us. And when were they lying? What they tell them the truth? When does CNN tell the truth? And when do they lie?
In fact, does anyone apologize for the lies? Says Jake Tapper of CNN, apologize for the lies and the misconceptions his reporting has created? To does he only tell the truth when he gets paid by someone other than his employer? I could imagine a newsman working in some news operation would lie and only tell the truth when an outside source gives him money. Where's the apology to Lord Trump
or to those who question the president's mental acuity? Now we find out from the book that the cabinet officials knew that Joe Biden was not mentally equipped to be the president at the amendment says you have to come
forward and say it. It's your constitutional duty, along with the vice president, who literally has no testicles, to come forward and say, you know what, we have to impose the twenty fifth Amendment, even though even though it would have meant that Harris would have been the president the acting president, it was their duty to do so.
So.
When does the media apologize for the very fine people hoax in Charlottesville or the Springfield, Ohio bomb threat hoax or the Trump called out for Liz Channing to be executed hoax? Or the violent crime under Biden Harris is down hoax or the Arlington Cemetery hoax, or the Russian collusion hoax or the hands Up, Don't Shoot hoax or the Jesse Smilette hoax or the Covington, Kentucky KKK kids hoax. When do they apologize for the Trump trashes the troops hoax,
policemen killed at mostly peaceful January sixth protest hoax? When does any of this take place? Does any one of the meetings you know we got that wrong. I'm sorry about the Russian collusion delusion. I'm sorry about the laptop disinformation. I'm sorry about the fifty one intelligent authorities telling us this was Russian information, the Hunter laptop, the thousands of files that were classified and thrown on the carpet by
the FBI, the mar Lago hoax. Did they ever apologize. No, I'm waiting for the first apology for the mainstream media about any of the lies they repeatedly told about Donald Trump and Republicans. It simply doesn't happen. In fact, would Jake Tapper have written this book with Alex Thompson, who, by the way, everyone tells me he's a great reporter. If Harris had won the presidency, this book would never have been written. Why a CNN of the mainstream media
always wanted to curry favor with the Democratic Party. Now that they're out of power, they feel they can maybe at this time have a moment of lucidity and tell the truth. Incredible, He kind of married himself to this book project. He's going to make millions of dollars after deceiving you and me, and Jake Tapper doesn't appear to be upset at all. He simply moves on to the next hoax and the next lie, which is there's cuts to medicaid, said this morning on the Sunday morning talk shows.
I'm watching some of them. And if you're an occasional viewer or listener and you hear constantly there's cuts to medicare medicaid, you might start believing it when the media knows that's also a lie, and they keep saying it hopefully at some point it might come true. Do they ever learn from their lives? Did the media ever say, you know what? We lied repeatedly? For example, the NPR CEO said, quote PBS is fair and objective, has no
political motive, and that Judge Brett Kevin all justice. How about that hoax about those women with the rape rooms. Did anyone in the media apologize for any of that? Absolutely not. They simply move on to the next hope hoax and hope that you believe, you know, and we go on and on. But there's no cuts to Medicare Medicaid. There's this slowing of the increase and in some cases an increase. So how is that a cut? The media lies repeatedly. They can't keep the lies straight and Jake
Tapper's at the top of the list. Let's continue now, let's go to Gail in Pennsylvania, and then a call from Indiana, the home of the five hundred, and then Cincinnati itself and many others. Eight sixty six six four seven, seven three three seven and Gale and Pennsylvania. Thank you for your call, Gail.
Please go ahead, Hi, Bill, Yes, you know, talking about that big, beautiful bill. I really hope that it gets approved almost intact, unless they make a few more spending cuts. And the reason I do is because the tax cuts are very, very important, and that will add about three and a quarter percent growth to our economy, which is the only way we can get out of the mess that we're in with these astronomical deficits. It's not going to be through spending cuts only, because we need this growth.
And I don't know that some of these people talking about it really are taking that into account. That everything President Trump is doing bringing back investment here, these tax cuts, you know, that's going to really fuel the economy. And I personally am very excited about it. I know it's not a perfect bill, and there are some complaints, like people are saying, well, what about the tax cuts for
Social Security? Well, they failed to realize this is a reconciliation bill and it's a structural change to eliminate taxes on Social Security. I think that President Trump will try to do that separately. Right now in the bill, I believe he's just giving a larger tax break to Social Security recipients.
But what it is is a four thousand dollars in a sense of check. It's not a deduction, it's a credit. And so that means that the average person gets eighteen hundred dollars a month in Social Security benefits times twelve is about twenty one to twenty two thousand, and the tax paid on that it's about four thousand dollars. And so also it's means tested to an extent at least a bill in the House, who knows what's going to
happen in the Senate. But nonetheless, if you make more than fifty thousand dollars a year off to the side, you don't get the four thousand dollars tax credit, which is you know, I will disclose I'm one of those individuals, and I don't want any more tax cuts for me. What I would like to see is growing this great economy of ours. And you don't grow an economy by more rules, more regulations, and more taxes. You grow the economy by targeting tax cuts on individuals who will use
that money to grow the economy. That's how you grow the economy.
Well, I believe in tax cuts for everybody across the board. You know, producers that are making a lot more money also deserve tax cuts, just to eliminate the loopholes. In fact, I believe really in a flat tax.
Bingo, then go right there, Well, yeah, flat tax, get rid of the accountants, God bless them, get rid of the economists, get rid of the irs. Whether it's the number is allegedly on, a flat tax would be about twenty percent and then exempt the first fifty thousand dollars in income. And if that's the case, that's fine. The hassles, the imprisonments, the hiding of this, the repositioning. Is it a capital gains? Is that a summer year digits depreciation?
It's a level debris idle. I don't know. But to have a flat tax or a national sales tax is the way to take power away from the politicians. And I'm one hundred percent of either one of those, which I think will never happen.
But this economic growth is important because what is important is the debt as a percentage of the growth national product. So even though right now the debt is horrendous, if growth skyrockets as a percentage of that growth national product, that is going to be much less than it is now. So we need to have those tax cuts. We need to have this built.
It's very critical, I think, you know, compared to what compared to doing nothing in which there's a huge tax increase. Right now, the GDP in America is about twenty eight trillion dollars and the accumulated debt is about thirty seven trillion, So we have to accept during World War Two we never had the GDP kind of a much greater than the accumulated national debt, and right now it is so if we can restrain spending and have more economic activity.
Right now we generate about five trillion dollars in income taxes and the deficit is about two trillion. So somehow we have to grow the economy above thirty to thirty two trillion a year, which is possible. Then we have to restrain federal spending, and life's going to be Okay, Now, I hope that's the case. Do you have hope that's going to happen.
It will happen. And as you said, regulations are maybe even believe it or not, more important. And I've talked to you before about this that the media who brainwashes people, the legacy media so highly, they want more regulations this ABC, NBCMSNBC, CNN. Why do these CEO billionaires probably could call the Marxist Why do they want more regulation? Because they want to put out their small business competition, So they're going to promote democrats, their Democrat cronies.
Have you ever heard David Muir or Lester Holt or sixty Minutes or the New York Times or the Washington Posts say, you know what, we got this wrong. The COVID lab leak came out of a laboratory, didn't come from a bat. Have you heard him say, you know, the Hunter laptop on Russian disinformation was a hoax. We're sorry we reported that the mass graves of Native children in Canada was a hoax. You know, I'm sorry about that.
When the mainstream media reported on border agents whipping illegals, I kind of wait for Lester Holt to say, you know what, we got that wrong. I'm sorry about that. Would you drop dead figuratively if somehow the mainstream media went over a list of the lies told to you and they apologize for misreporting the facts. Wouldn't that be a shocking moment?
Oh?
Yeah, I wouldn't know what to do. I would say, David mure to say, you know what, the CEO of NPR said, quote the NPR is fair and objective and has no political motive quote unquote. Now no one can watch PBS and come away with the idea. You know what, that organization should get five hundred million dollars in our money every year because they're fair and objective, they have no political motive. NPR, national Public Radio, does a great job. And I'm thinking, how about reporting on that?
You know?
And I think about the violence on the left. It isn't just Brett Kavanaugh almost killed, assassinated because of the activities of Chuck Shu where the judicial branch was attacked, Brett Kevanaugh, Steven Scalise, the legislative branch was shot, Donald Trump was shot, And all I hear about is all
the violence committed by conservative Republicans. When the violence comes from the George Floyd riots, it comes to the radical leftists attacking every branch of government, and it continues on, abated, and the media doesn't report on that fact either, do they.
Well, the Democrats had a candidate who not only enabled, but Kamala actually facilitated the violence. She announced that she was paying the bill of Black Lives Matter and Antifa as they burnt down cities. This is a Democrat party.
It's amazing. And I'm waiting for the mainstream media to apologize for all the lies, distortions and the number of hoaxes they've reported over the years. But you just move on to the next lie, hoping you have short term memory loss. Well, Gail, we got to run. We agree, we have to grow this economy, have targeted tax cuts. The best thing would be a national sales tax or a flat tax, but the politicians will never let that happen. Let's continue with more twenty minutes after they are Bill
Cunningham with you every Sunday night. I wouldn't note that the clock is ticking relative to Israel doing what must be done against Iran, and it's ay death cult in charge of that country who want to take the world with them and do a living hell. They want to kill Jews, and after Jews, it'll be Americans. It'll never stop radical Islam. I think the Golf States have figured
it out. The Arab Golf States have figured it out, because they're succeeding magnificently, partially because of their economy fueled by oil, but mainly recently because of Donald Trump, and that there are one hundred percent in charge of taking Iran down. Give you an example of what they believe that when this thirty one year old shouted free Palestine, according to police, I've watched it and pulled out a red kafifa and traditional headdress worn by men from parts
of the Middle East. That activity and murdering this two Israeli embassy employees or benefited were praised by parts of the Iran Revolutionary Guard as part of the jihad against the West and against America. Unbelievable. And Benjamin Ntchanaw, who gave an interview in which he talked about the terrorists who gunned down those two persons. One was the Jew, one was a Catholic. It's because that person simply wanted
to kill Jews. He shouted free Palestine, Free Palestine, which is the same chant you hear in college campuses, correct, like at Harvard and Yale in Columbia. He had the same chant, and these are useful idiots of the radical left, and the same chant that was hearting. October the seven,
twenty twenty three. On that day, thousands of terrorists did the incredible, unbelievable invasion of southern Israel to the Kibuus Is, mainly occupied by well meeting Israelis who wanted to live in peace with their Palestinian brothers and sisters and hired them. And those terrorists thousands stormed into southern Israel from Gaza. They beheaded men, they set them on fire, wrapped in
oil soaked tires. They raped women and girls. They burned babies alive in front of their parents, and they butchered one two hundred innocent to men, women and children, took about two hundred and fifty hostages to the dungeons and dirt of Gaza, which is given to the Palestinians in twenty five, some twenty years ago by the Israelis to
be their homeland. Go ahead, we're leaving. It's all up to you and they took the billions of humanitaris aid given to them in Palestine, so called Gaza's trip, and they built tunnels, they built bombs and rockets, and then Iran infiltrated parts of Hamas and Heswah with millions and millions of dollars so they could continue to attack Israel. And a brutal terrorist shot in cold blood a young beautiful couple in America, and that jihad has come all
over the world, if you use Wikipedia as objective. Since nineteen seventy two, when the Israeli wrestlers were murdered in the Olympics, there's been a quarter of a million different attacks by Islamic extremists against mainly their own but also against the West, killing literally millions of people. It's happening right now as I speak in Africa, killing Christians, beheading Christians, Boca Haram and parts of Africa. It's happening regularly. And when will it stop. It will not stop until they
are stopped. And the one force on earth that can do is the Israeli Defense Force, and God knows they have the means to do it. And at no point will Iran ever allow righteous inspections of their nuclear weapon facilities because in their interest they know to marry a nuclear bomb on top of one of their missiles and obliterate and murder the six million Jews in Israel, then come after us next. So stay tuned for more near Solomon's going to be with me a guest who spends
his time in Israel. I think tonight he might be in Los Angeles a little bit earlier there to talk about his feelings about the Jihad coming to the streets of America and the fact that useful idiots on college campuses are shouting free Palestine, much as ninety years ago was Kyle Hitler to kill the Jews. Now it's a free Palestine which has been free, and they refuse used to build their own societies instead of using the money
to build arms to kill Jews and Americans. Let's continue with more plus later on as the great Leland Vitter of news Nation, and once again I want to acknowledge the death of about one point one million Americans soldiers since seventeen seventy six through today in the sacrifices they've made.
This Memorial Day weekend, Bill cunning into Great American with you every Sunday, by Billy cunning in the Great American Other terrible tragedy It took place a few nights ago in Washington, won an alleged not alleged when a murderer shouting free, free Palestine just murdered in cold blood to Israeli staffers. Which is a long history recently of anti Semitism, and I think the peatrit dish of the recent way by anti semitism off and are the college campuses, et cetera.
And then anti Semitism has become an endemic in American society, and more bipartisan action must take place. And of course this is not in a vacuum. What happened with the AMAS attack on Israel in October about almost a year and a half ago, is again a terrible incident that reflects the values of AMAS and hesbla finded by Iran joining you nine now is near Solomon, who's normally headquartered in Syria, but finds himself now in Los Angeles and
near Solomon. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham show. Near Solomon. First of all, can you tell the American people the impact of this most recent slaughter of an innocent couple in Washington d C on the psyche of Jews living in America.
Absolutely. First of all, Bill, thank you for having me on your show. And I just want to correct it. I'm usually stationed in Jerusalem, Okay, not in Syria. But the reality is is that it's just a way call that everything can turn in a moment. So the United States is a place that is free for all people, and then all of a sudden you see this unfortunate, you know, spinning of reality that people can just walk up to somebody and just shoot him because they disagree
with their political views. As nobody knows even what the political views of these two innocent individuals were. So that's a scary reality. And me coming from the son of a Holocaust survivor who actually lived in Luxembourg, Luxembourg was a new forral country was very welcoming to the Jews. In one day also termed when the Nazis invented, when Nazis invaded Luxembourg, the Luxembourg government actually handed over the lists and location of the Jews living in their country.
So that's a very scary reality.
And we know that most Americans are obviously very peace loving allies of Israel and allies of that.
That's good and.
Proper, But nonetheless that reality is quite surprising that should happen just the middle of Washington, d See, the nation's capital.
Is it you today? Do you walk around showing your Jewish faith? Would you wear in the emblems or indicators of your faith? Are you concerned for your own personal safety in America?
The answer is I walk around with outwardly Jewish science because I'm not willing to allow the terrorists to win. But I cannot say that there is not concern amongst the Dowish community. In some places people are wary to be publicly identified as Jews, and that is extremely sad.
How does thing? On October the seventh, twenty twenty three, yours truly spent about ten days in Tel Aviv and Jerusalem Masada. I spent time in Palestinian territories. In May of twenty twenty three. I discussed things with IDF officers, and there was a sense that we're on a road to peace. The Abraham Accords, of course, have been put on the back burner. There was hope Trump was going to get back in office, that things would proliferate again
for those of us living in America. Similar to what happened on nine to eleven, what happened to the Jewish people in October seventh, twenty twenty three was something that in a sense was not predicted. It was a shock to the system, and it was perceived as a great victory by Hamas over innocent men, women and children who were butchered, raped, burned, alive, beheaded. Then the hostages went back and they've been there ever since October the seventh
and eighth of twenty twenty three. What role do you think that vicious attack on Jews had an inciting in a sense support for Palestinian causes, which would be a one off. I can't imagine someone at Harvard or Yale or Ohio State or some other college campus Columbia saying that's a motivating factor for me to whip things up against Jews in America. Can you understand that philosophy?
This scary reality is maybe all the ex sematism was completely dormant under the surface and just waiting to burst out there. That's the scary part, because when you have I don't want to say, you know, savage animals, but there's savage commas, you know, going out there and just brutally killing everything in sight, you know, raping, savaging children, you know, opening up pregnant women's stomachs. I mean, I mean it's horrific. So anybody to get behind that, even
if you have, you know, a different political view. Nobody can condone such activities period. It doesn't make a difference what you're doing. And so maybe what was happening all this time on college campuses was this dormant insanity that just was released. It's like alligators being released inside of you know them all and the people said, oh great, let the alligators just you know, destroy everything around us.
That's extremely scary. You know, you're in Los Angeles and I just spoke to a uber driver about diluting that was during COVID in New York City and he says, yeah, it also happened here in Los Angeles. I said, well, why, you know, where, where is this dormant craziness resigning? Is it really resigning in crazy smatic ideologies that are being stewed in liberal arts colleges around the country.
I don't know.
But seeing what happened in Colombia as a reaction to I don't even know how to define that activity, wherever that might be, whoever might be propagating such activity, you have to go against it with all fours and the wise educated. You know, universities came out supporting it, so it must have been their dormant all this time, just waiting to be leashed out. But we need to be concerned about to.
Think about ripping from a mother's womb an unborn baby and splatter those remains on the ground. Animals don't do that to other animals. That is something that animals don't do. But Hamas did, hyped up on drugs and hate, and what happened to Governor Shapiro's home a month or two ago.
I see in the ADO website that according to the adl Anti Defamation League, there's an average of twenty five anti Semitic incidents per day nationwide, with over ten thousand antismitic occurrences in the past year alone, including vandalism physical attacks. I read a story out of Boston the newspapers that Jewish students at Harvard, for example, will be surrounded by kadifa wearing I guess fellow students with masks keeping them from going to school. And I can imagine in the
South in the nineteen forties, fifties and sixties. If the ku Klux planned would encircle black students and keep them from going to class, there would be a national US Army presence, as there was in college campuses in the South under Eisenhower and Kennedy, to make sure that the South and racist the Democrats in the South, can't do this. But there's a sense now that this is applauded. It's justified gunning down healthcare executives in this case, this Rodriguez
murderer was a member of Black Lives Matter protest. He called himself anti war. He was a Palestinian activist thirty years old who traveled to do this from Chicago, and in Chicago is the most anti gun city in America. And he used something like twenty or twenty five shots. And as this poor woman was crawling with her life bleeding out, he stood over her and emptied out his revis empty out his weapon in her back. And this is a young woman, and he's yelling after that, free Palestine,
Free Palestine. And there's going to be go fundme pages set up to give this guy more money for his defense. Can you give us some advice near Solomon, how we can stop this if we can.
Well, first of all, we have to recognize the problem. You know, a lot of time as we try to not believe the problem exists. I just want to share with you my grandfather in the nineteen thirties came from Poland to Luxembourg and he told his family, who are all Luxembourgers, he said, you.
Know, we need to leave Europe right now. And they said to.
Them, you're crazy, You're absolutely insane. Nothing crazy can happen. And they told him you are a Polacan Jew. You sought for Gromes and Poland against the Jews, and that can't happen here. And we know what happened just a few years later. So first of all, we need to recognize the problem. There's no room in the United States or around the world for any sort of racism against any nation, against any poler against any freed And the society is judged not by the actions of individuals, but
by the reaction of the public. How are you going to react to such an activity?
And that's where everybody needs to stand up and say.
Wait a second, we will not tolerate this, because if we do tolerate it. It might have just killed two innocent individuals, which is a power statement, but it's not going to come to us. But it will come to you if you don't recognize the problem and scream on the top of every rooftop that this is something that's not acceptable within our society.
That's not being done.
You have a few officials in the United States that screen up. You know, I'm here in Los Angeles. I don't see major statements going out and saying we will not tolerate racism, anti semitism in our mixed period. We have no tolerance. And when you talk about the piece that we are looking towards in the Arab community, I speak to a lot of my Arab crims and they say, you know why, for example, in the Emirates, why there is no crime is because on the one hand, we're time,
but we're very tough on crime. It has to come together and that has not come together yet in this country. You need to recognize that this problem is rooted within certain cultures, because we see that in the universities, and when it actually is released and it's leashed down in the form of actual taking human lives, you need to come out with fury against its fury, not just condemnation, absolute fury. And that has not happened yet in this country.
And if we were talking the thirties in Europe, nobody would have believed anybody saying what doomsday was going to look like. And I'm telling you here, you know, I'm not a prophet, but if we don't stand up dooms, they will come, and it will come sooner than we can ever imagine. So if you want to deal with it, you need to scream at no tolerance, zero absolute, zero tolerance and cent behavior.
Sometimes more liberal Democratic members of the Congress like AOC are kind of asked about the slaughter of this darling couple at a conference at a Jewish cultural center in Washington, d C. That was reaching across the divide, that was about peace, that was bipartisan, and they came out and were slaughtered, and there's no comments in the AOC types first thing out of her mouth was what about the
babies killed in Gaza? By the way, the babies killed or collateral damage of hamas, it's not idf And so I guess what I'm asking you, near Solomon, is would you like to have more of a full throate at response of the liberal elements of the Democratic Party that this is completely unacceptable.
Absolutely.
I think that people need to scream out that this behavior is just not acceptable. And just to put it, you know, when you talk about the differences in culture, last week there was a terrible savage murder in Israel of a woman who was on her way to give birth to her child. And what was amazing as opposing the Hamas savages that were killing babies, here Israel was able to extract the baby that was about to be born within sixty seconds of the moment that the woman
arrived in the hospital. Unfortunately, they were not able to save her life, but they were able to save the life of the baby. And I believe we're still fighting for the life of that baby.
We are fighting for life.
Yet that's what my organization, a Straft represents, That's what the Israeli culture represents, That's what the American people represent, and the Democratic Party, just like the Republican Party, are no different. Emperishing and celebrating life. It's time for them to stand up and say we cherish life, we cherish that which is good, and we will not not only condemned we will not tolerate activity that is even dormant, that wants to call and kill people.
We won't tolerate it. We will defund.
Any organization that is willing to support such activity immediately. This is not free speech, This is savage, savage hatred Neir Solomon.
Lastly, i'd ask this, how would you respond to a certain activists who claim that the israelis the IDF, which is a Western style democracy largely with many of the religious and other cultural and freedom of speech rights that we enjoy here, that some how the IDF and Israel's committing genocide and causing the death of hundreds of thousands of babies in Gaza. How would you respond to that charge of the left?
Well, I mean, not only is an unfounded I want people listening up, listening to this. Understand. My son, who was a commander in the Glani Brigade, shares with me that when he is in the alleyways in Gosam, he says, I can't see. He says, I mean, I can't dispect to you what's going on? I said, what do you mean? He says, it looks like a party. He said, what do you mean? He says there's confetti falling from the sky. This confetti our notices to the people there. If you
are innocent, leave this area. We have a safe corridor for you. We want to protect your lives, but we are going to bomb these buildings that are booby trapped. Okay, And then all of a sudden, there's huge megaphones coming from the sky from around warning people, giving them warning, please leave, please leave, and there is no movement. You have savage terrorists that celebrate deaths. They are happy when
the civilian quote unquote civilian population remains. They capture them, We try to free them, we try to open up humanitarian corridors, and they do not allow that reality to exist. So if anybody wants to save even one life, and I believe we need to do everything we can't to save one life, they need to scream out to the savage terrorists, put down your arms, surrender yourselves.
We will make sure.
We Israel and the Western world who cares about life, that those that are innocent will be protected. But we will not risk our lives when savage terrorists are using these unfortunate people as human shields. We do everything we can. I do not believe America or any Western army would do what Israel's doing. We've heard American generals speak about that that's not activity that we will risk the lives
of our children for. But Israel sometimes, unfortunately, it takes extreme measures, extreme steps to make sure that those on the other side that are innocent, You're not get it. So I'm so unfounded that I even hate even dealing with that issue because you just like you did yourself come to Israel.
Yeah, I did see it for yourself.
Yeah, it's hard.
It makes it very very simple.
You're Solomon. All the Moss has to do is put down their arms, surrender, and their people are fed. But they don't want their people alive. They want their own Palestinians dead as part of the jihad. And that's a culture of death, like Iran is not a culture of life. When you're Solomon, you're.
I can tell you they celebrate that.
Right next to my house, I live on the Judaean Hills. They celebrate every death. They have celebrations. You've never seen a thing like this, and until you actually see it, you.
Just can't believe.
Nobody listening on this radio show right now, nobody can understand until you actually see it, they actually celebrate that very hard to understand.
Well, the only way to handle this, near Solomon is to win. Got to win the war and win.
And the West and in the United States, you have to just be belligerent about the fact that we will not tolerate any violences. We won't tolerate hatred towards other people.
If there were Nazi uprisings on college campuses supporting Adolf Hitler, we would understand the analogy. Near Solomon. Once again, thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And there we'll do it again. Thank you very much, Thank you ver. God bless American, God bless Israel. Alright, let's continue Bill Cunningham, the Great American live with you every Sunday night. Solomon knows where the bodies are buried, literally all over the
Middle East from Israel. When a faction of the running government praises the DC shooter, who's a left doing activist whose name I refuse to mention, that killed those two diplomats employees of the Israeli embassy in Washington, d C. Calling them heroes of the jihad and encouraging more of it, and then you know exactly when Benjamin Netta, who would say in one speech that it used to be it
was Yle Hitler, Now it's free Palestine. And the useful idiots on the left who incentivized the murder of innocent men, women and children in the October seventh grade in Israel, and applauds the murderer who shot down in cold blood a couple about to be engaged deserved to be in the bottom of hell, along with others who have similar viewpoints. Stay tuned for more. Coming up next is Scott Powell
about a column he's written about debt. Also debt and how much trouble We're in Bill cunning Him the Great American with you Every Something by Billy Cunningham. Let's continue. Coming up there will be Scott Powell and also Leyland Vender of News Nation.
Willie.
Brough. You by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway in Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill Cunningham.
By Billy Cunningham, the great American. Of course, Scott Powell has very interesting columns up. You can may check him off with Scott Powell, he's always on Discovery Institute. I have this one a couple of days ago from Newsmax with my friend Christopher Ruddy, and I looked at it and I thought, Okay, I had not given this a whole lot of thought, and I know it's a big problem.
And that is that through the nineteen eighties, the United States of America was in fact the largest producer of rare earth's until the nineteen eighties, with well known companies manufacturing these so called rare earth magnets right here and terribly important. Maybe not in the medieval times, but today for jet fighters, for submarines, for missile technology, it's critical.
And now we're producing none. Used to be the pebble mine in Alaska, or the Twin Metals and d Luth Complex mines in Minnesota, or the Twin Pines mines in Georgia. But the name of protecting the environment. Beginning with liberalism with Bill Clinton, through Joe Biden and his elitest supporters of the radical green agenda, they bottled up and eliminated America's creating these valuable resources is now about one are
made in China. So we got hat in hand, going to Beijing begging them for technology to keep our technology, our military technology afloat. And once again, Scott Powell, welcome to the Bill Cunningham showing, first of all, give us an overview of America's military and why do you so called rare earth minerals are critical.
Well, I'm I'm not a you know, you know, an engineer, a defense engineer, high tech engineer. But but rare earth have a you know, they have qualities that that kind
of crossover. It's really what you know, there are rare earths that are used in the semiconductor industry, for instance, and they are about twenty rare earth minerals and metals that are used in the production of high tech aircraft like the F sixteen, the F twenty two, the F thirty five, and then of course drones are are really you know, that's a big part of the new you know, aircraft if you will, sector in the military because these
are unmanned vehicles, they are cheaper to build and so forth. But I want people to understand we have to frame this to really understand that it's the primary role of government to protect the safety and security of the American people. There's no more important job than that. The government can screw up on a lot of things, but it best
not screw up on protecting the people. But this, in fact was the case prior to Trump, because Washington had abdicated response me to to protect and develop these all important rare earth elements that are critically necessary for the production of high tech military weapon systems. And where will we where we source them from from China. So think about that for a minute. We're sourcing from China the essential component components for our defense industry to fight China
right there are primary enemy right now. They are probably more more advanced in there thinking about how to take on the United States, how to take back Taiwan. And here we are relying on them to supply us these critical components so that you know, we can fly our aircraft to fight the Chinese. It's crazy, it's crazy that we allowed this to happen. So in the article I explain how it happened. It happened because of the growth
of this bureaucratic state. The government agencies like the EPA and the Department of the Interior, and most of the government agencies have been had have been populated, if you will, they've been they've they've brought progressive minded people into these and all the federal agencies. And it stands to reason because these people, you know, they want to work for
the government. They want to change society through government, whereas most people, you know, they want to go out and make money and have the freedom in the private sector. But so we have a we have government agencies now that are really at war with American.
People now, which is why I think the Trumpster wants to do a deal with Ukraine. And this has taken us fifty years to get here. You have a great part of your column that says, over the past fifty years, the Congress failed to properly oversee reign in and direct the Department of the Interior and the EPA to support national security priorities and goals. And of course, for the last four years or so, who was running the presidency, nobody knows. We have a pilot bureau, including Hunter Biden,
making this visions. And if the Biden family didn't financially benefit from overseas deals, they didn't make them, and so nobody was watching the store. We assumed for a long time because of Fair Traded Center, China was going to be our friend beginning in two thousand and one when they when they joined so called the trade organizations. It's not turned out that way at all, and now we
don't have the capacity to produce these metals. I've looked at the forty or fifty Most of the names I can't pronounce, but I can't pronounce lithium and cobalt and radium and things like that. But there's a bunch of others and they all come from China, And I'm thinking, Okay, no one was paying attention now here we are about it's gonna take not a year or two years, Scott Powell, wouldn't it take ten years to be consistent to open up these minds in America and produce these these rare
minerals right now, these global rare earth supply chain. It was we got into this thing long time. It's gonna take a long time to get out correct.
Well. But I mean, if it became a national priority on a wartime footing, I think that we could get these mines up and running in two to three years. But we don't even know where all the where all the rare earth elements are because you know, mining on public land has been off limits, right and there's been no incentive for the private sector mining companies to pursue any of this, so they've just neglected it entirely. But
I think we're a wealthy country in these minerals. And as a matter of fact, you know, China, you know, brings these minerals in from all over the world to process them in China. China is really the master at controlling supply chains. You know, they control the supply chain of lithium and lithium batteries. They control eighty percent of the cobalt produced in the world and it all comes out of the Congo in the Africa and Africa. How
did they do this? They did it because they have a concerted foreign policy approach that they are going they are going to control the world. They're certainly going to defeat the United States because the United States stands in the way of most of these tyrants around the world. So they want to bring us to our knees and
they control the supply chains. They can do that. Look, they eighty percent of the of the photo voltaic panels that we all see in acres and acres of defaced which used to be you know, pristine farmland is now covered with solar panels. And we've just learned that in these solar panels and some of these solar panels, there's a back door for China to basically turn it all off.
I mean, it's unbelievable how naive we have been. We have you know, we have a determined enemy that wants to be able to defeat us without firing a shot.
Well, you have also a column a few days ago about America's financial strength and its national security, and I read a piece by Senator Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, and he points out that our financial security is tied to getting down federal spending, which seemingly cannot happen. God knows that the Trumpster and House a leader in the House of Johnson and the Senate tune, if they can't do it,
it can't be done. And I'm reading these numbers. Forget about the rhetoric Scott Powell, forget about the chainsaw, forget about DOGE, which I think is doing great work within their parameters. But Ron Johnson points out in this column that the and this this fiscal year that ends September thirtieth, the federal Treasury is going to collect about five trillion
dollars from US as taxpayers. But that's gonna be about two trillion dollars short and even if and right now it's thirty seven trillion, and looking for the next ten years, you're going to add at least twelve to thirteen trillion. In the year twenty thirty seven, we're going to have fifty trillion dollars and national debt. And it's unbelievable.
But here's the issue. Everybody has to understand this. Take the wisdom of war and Buffett, you know, he was the master investor and is key and he said, you know it's it shouldn't be a secret, but the power of compound interest is the chief driver of success in investing. And what that means is what he did was he bought high quality, dividend paying stocks, he held onto him he and reinvested all the dividends, so he never took
the cash out. He reinvested in more shares, and then those more shares generate more dividends, and the dividends get increased every year, so it's like a virtuous engine of growth. Well, the opposite is that you have debt and disturvice the debt. You have to borrow more mon need to service the debt, and so you create more debt to service the existing debt, and so it goes worse and worse and worse until
the system collapses, and it will collapse. It will there comes a point where you can't borrow any more money and you have to default on your debt. Then what happened then? Then what happened? Then? The financial markets are will we'll go through a total convulsion. And you know, if you own land and you own your house, and you own some gold and you own assets, hopefully you can survive through it all. But the currency will become
worthless and then we'll have to have a reset. In other words, if there'll be massive defaults that will never be made of. It's sort of what's happened in Argentina at various times where they've done defaulted on their debt and they don't go out of business. They just say well, sorry, we can't pay you.
Yeah, and that means but what does that mean when the default happens I'm not saying if it's gonna happen, when it happens. Give an example, in the year twenty twenty, which wasn't exactly decades ago. I'm talking five years ago, the federal government spent four point seven trillion dollars in the year twenty twenty. This year he had collected five point one trillion. If we go back to twenty twenty spending levels, we'd have a four billion dollar surplus to
pay off the debt. Instead, all I hear from the mainstream media is there's cuts the medicare, there's cuts the Medicaid. Rich are getting a tax cut, the poor are going to go hungry. I hear all this crap, and the media doesn't tell us the truth, which is where we are financially. And you point that on your column, and I'm thinking, why can't we deal with reality?
Well, you know, there are two things about human nature. One is the normalcy bias. And normally device is simple. It says that whatever was in the past, it gets projected on the present in the future, that everything was okay in the past. Yes we had deficits, but it wasn't so bad, and we muddled through, and so it's normal. We're still normal. Our deficits are just part of life. And then the other part that kills us is the is the tendency of people to deny problems. You know
that people are in denial of problems. We're in denial that were going bankrupt. We're in denial. Who talks about that?
Well, all I hear about is cut to Medicare and Medicaid, which is the slight slowing of the increase. I'll give you some numbers. I mean, this isn't Democrat Republican. The average deficit each year under Barack Hussein Obama was nine hundred and ten billion dollars each year on average. Under Trump, who I love and respect, it's going to be two trillion dollars a year. It's going to double the deficits annually under Biden and under Obama. And of course Biden
averaged one point nine trillion over his four years. So essentially Biden added eight eight trillion, and Trump's going to add in four years eight trillion, and Obama in eight years added about eight trillion. He was there eight year.
None of that debt's going to be retired, none of the words, We're gonna not we're going to be crushed by interest payments. Well, you know, there's no getting around. You have to service that. You create more debt, you've got to service it. You've got to pay the bond holders. And if you don't pay them, your default, and if you default, then every it's you know, it's turn out the lights.
Yeah, it'll take a wheelbar full of money to buy a loaf of bread.
That's what happened with the with the with the German mark after World War One.
Why are we dealing with Well, whenever I hear a newscast, I hear some some news reader tell me there's cuts to Medicaid because the rate of increase is slowing because of all the waste, fraud and abuse. I want to jump through the radio or the TV and see are you are you stupid? Are you that stupid? Of course, there's no cuts, it's a slight decrease of the increase. But I'm reading from doctor Oz who said they've discovered there's fourteen billion dollars and do duple get payments made
in one year on Medicaid. I'm reading this other ninety three billion dollars uh the EPA between the time that Harris lost and Trump came in. The EPA shoveled out the door ninety three billion dollars democratic activist groups we never ever did.
With reality.
The political corruption is is so out of control that I mean, Doge, we both applaud and people should go. But but you got to keep going. I mean, uh, the the corruption, you know, the the the misallocation of funds and the redirection of funds is just unbelievable. It's it's outrageous, and you know, it's all being done by
this so called entrenched deep state. And they use this redirected money to pad their not only pad their own wall to you know, but to run it back into the political system to get their cronies re elected.
And I'm watching it now, and God blessed Trump and Mike Johnson and Senator thun and all the rest. I respect Rand Paul that the two House of Representative members who did not vote for this last week was my friend Warren Davidson I have him on quite often from Ohio and Tom Massey from Kentucky. Two voted against it, saying, because you know what, there is no cut in federal spending,
there's an increase. They both agreed to it. I watched Senator Johnson of Ron Johnson O Wisconsin with Christopher Ruddy on Newsmax. He's saying the same thing he said. I love the way that Speaker Johnson is acting boldly. One of my disappointments with the House is about the only number we have now is at one point five trillion reduction over ten years. That's one hundred and fifty billion per year. He calls that a When you a trillion dollars around, it's it's nothing.
And everybody needs to understand that as the death grows, we get ourselves into an irretrievable UH dynamic that ends in bankruptcy.
It's a death sparal. It's like a plane going down.
It's a debt death smiral. That's right, and it can't you can't turn it around. So I hate to have to be a pessimist.
I want to be objective. I don't want to be optimistic. And the idea that over the next ten years we're going to grow a way out of this by incentivizing more. The numbers are too big.
It won't work. They're too big. They're too big. The only way we grow our way out of this really is increasing the revenue side. And Trump has some very creative ideas. Sure, for instance, this Golden Disa program. Sure formally, sure there are enough people that have signed up for it now to basically bring about a trillion and a half dollar into the treasury.
We need a cut federal spending. We go to go back to twenty twenty levels of federal spending. Whatever it is. Now, we got a surplus. Well, Scott Powell, all your stuff is just Google your stuff. I have it all in front of me. You do great work. And when it comes to rare earth minerals, but this death spiral is something that is the most predictive catastrophe ever district this country, and we're not dealing with it.
Yeah, well, let's close with this. There was once a guy asked, well, just how did you go bankrupt? And you know what his answer was, Well, it was slow at first, and then all of a sudden you're bankrupt.
That's where we are.
That's exactly what's going to happen to the United States. We're going slow now. Even though the debt is increasing, the deficits are level or increasing, We're servicing more and more debt and we're muddling through it appears, and then suddenly it will be you know, there'll be a default and then you go bank disaster.
Scott Powell, thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. We'll do it again. Thank you, Scott.
Okay, thank god, blessure.
Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night. Well on this glorious veterans Memorial Day week And I didn't want to commemorate the sacrifice of so many American service personnel men and women. Since seventeen seventy six, about one point one million have been killed, their families profoundly affected. And I'm proud to live in a nation with so
many will get their lives for freedom. Thank you. Coming up next is the great Leland Vindard of News Nation about the Biden difficulties and more on this Memorial Day weekend. Bill Cunningham with you every eds of News Nations, the main anchor, I call you the main guy there. I'm pushing Cromo aside and Leland Verter welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. May you continue to have a great Memorial Day weekend. Bill, Thank you, always good to be with you.
Many issues so little time. Number one, I assume the book Original Sin is doing better than I thought, as far as the sales by Jake Tapper, Rugget's in there and first thing as a newsman, as a correspondent yourself,
irrespective of what they discover. I can only imagine if the grand pooh bahs the news nation, my good friend, and you're Sean Compton, if you would develop, over many many months or a year or two news items about a sitting president and you held those news items from the air because you wanted to write a book later and make money that would not be well received. Have I missed a point here one way or another?
I don't think it's quite fair to say that about Alex Thompson in that Alex Thompson, who's the co author, was on my program a number of times in twenty twenty three and in twenty twenty four with significant new, thoughtful reporting about Joe Biden's help or lack thereof, and the accommodations that were made and the internal discussions inside the White House. You know, is it fair to criticize
that after the election they were doing this. I don't know, And oftentimes, and I think this is maybe a little bit too much inside baseball. But I'm defensive of Alex because he's a friend of mine. There's a lot of times that sources will talk to you for books or for projects that are going to happen after the election, when they wouldn't talk to you for day of news stories. So I don't think that really is the crux of the issue here.
What is the crux then, because in Jake Tapper's case, he had information, either through Alex Thompson or others, that the president was mentally incapable of discharging his duties, and he acted as if in many interviews. And I'm sure you've seen the clips on cable news all the times that Jake Tapper attacked those who would question the mental acuity of Joe Biden when he knew the opposite was true. Isn't that a valid criticism.
It's a very valid criticism. By the way, you didn't have to be deeply sourced in Washington to realize that Joe Biden I had lost, He had lost his fastball if he ever had one. All you had to do was watch Joe Biden and watch what the White House did
to me. The bigger story here is the threat to democracy, and I didn't think it was almost more of a subversion of democracy than a threat to it, because what has been reported and then this was not known during Biden's time in office, was how much he was infirmed and thus other people were running the country. And that to me is that to me, is one big issue.
And then the fact that the media was so complicit in this, to the point I had Alex Thompson on my show a couple of days ago, and he said that members of Biden's inner circle even hold him how shocked they were the things they got away with and how shocked they were. They could bully the media into submission or silence on the Joe Biden issue, from the health issue out, you know, using threats. If you attack Joe Biden, you're helping Donald Trump.
And it continued. Most of the media, President Company, excluded, most of the newspapers covered up in a sense and important maybe the cover up of this century. And they did it in order to make sure Donald Trump or later on Kamala Harris would become the president. Here's here's a big question. I don't fully understand because on June twenty seventh of last year, the great debate took place
between Biden and Trump. Surely Biden's team knew running up to the debate he was completely incapable of engaging in a debate on any issue. In fact, you said at one point, we have what we've cut off for destroyed Medicare, which I don't know where that came from, and Trump at that point said something in the effect I have
no idea what he's talking about. So why did the handlers, Why did doctor Joe Biden and Hunter Biden, the crack addict who ran part of the presidency, Why do they permit the June twenty seventh debate to go on knowing the probable outcome.
I don't think they thought that was going to be the probable outcome. Delusion in group think is a very powerful tool, and I think they did not realize how horrible it was going to be. I think it's pretty clear. I think they also realized they didn't have a choice. So those two things sort of came together, and thus
we had the June twenty seventh debate. I thought the most important thing Trump said when Biden said, you know, I destroy Medica, Medicaid or whatever it was, is Trump said, Trump said, I don't know what he's talking about, and then he said I don't think he does either, And that, to me was the real sort of point to be made, was that it was where everybody was thinking that Joe Biden had no idea what he was saying now.
And the spin room afterwards, of course, I watched that, I rolled back watched it again. The spin room from Kamala Harris and doctor Joe Biden were as cheerleaders. They blatantly lied, knowing the opposite was true, and yet the media did not report much on the lies told by those two. And so now the reporting is out by Alex Thompson and Jake Tapper that there was a small coterie of individuals running the presidency with an auto pen that included Anita Dunn, Ron Klaine, throw in Hunter Biden,
the crack addict, throw in doctor Joe Biden. And so there's going to be hearings held later this summer on who was running the presidency. And you're as in tune as anyone in Washington relative to this. Is that good? Is that accurate? Reporting? That Joe Biden was not the president for big decisions, that the auto pen was used to sign bills, a firm Acts of the Congress, appoint ambassadors,
conduct American foreign policy, appoint federal judges. It was an auto pen and Joe Biden, Ron Klaine, Anita Dunn, Hunter Biden, they were in fact the president.
I don't know to what extent that's true, and to what extent Also, in any administration, there is a lot of things that are done in the name of the president that he did not make.
Every single decision.
Now he may sign off on it, he may be briefed on Hey, these are the ten people we're going to appoint for a.
Federal judge ship.
I think the larger point you're getting to is a real one.
Which is that.
Joe Biden could not discharge the office of the presidency as we know it. And and Thompson in the book, there's a passage about something that you know, basically there was five people running the country Mike Donald Stever Setti on that list that you laid out, and best Joe Biden was a senior member of the board. Well, that's just not how it's supposed to work. That's not what American democracy is.
So I think, you.
Know, there is a lot more to see although and find out. I think it is interesting how now three days after or four days after the book came out, I came out on Tuesday, there is so little interest and there's so little interest in finding out more about Joe Biden's cancer diagnosis, and when exactly he was diagnosed with cancer, and if he was earlier, why the cover
up and who did it? And if he was diagnosed just last week as he claims, how something so simple is so obvious in the man with the best medical care in the world was missed.
In fact, he has medical team's following him. He said cancer before polyps, and he said cancer skin. I would think as an elderly American, I'm like a man not quite that old, but I get PSA test done every year. I have a digital rectal exams DREES. It's part of the deal. I do not believe that his medical team really was in the dark for eleven or twelve years
about the PSA number. I do not believe that. Of course, I disbelieve the idea that he received terrible medical care and now he's got stage four in the Gleason's score of nine, which means he's dying over the next two to three to four years, very likely, but testasize to the bone. Do you believe that the medical team around the President of the United States had no clue about this for eleven years. No, I don't.
And not only that, there's no reason to believe Keem Biden when they say that, right, we know they have covered up the past health issues. I'll give you one more thing that if he was under medical care for prostate cancer, which seems to be the most likely scenario, the drugs that are giving for that, the hormone therapy and the other drugs that are given for prostate cancer create a lot of the cognitive issues that we observed in Joe Biden over the past couple of years.
Yeah, the cover up continues now. Second issue, the tax bill. There were two Congressmen who voted against it on the Republican side. One was Thomas Massey, a frequent guest of mine from northern Kentucky. The other one is Warren Davidson, a frequent guest of mine and a friend of mine from Ohio. Those two along said no, and Warren davids and Congressman sent me the budget for the next three
to four years. Despite what dose is doing, Despite all the cuts in the federal workforce, we continue to borrow about two trillion dollars every year for the next four to five years until at least twenty twenty nine or twenty thirty, and so these men consider them to be principal. It said, now, wait a minute. We're here to cut spending, and we're not here to play winners and losers black and white. It's not blue or red, it's green, which
is the money. We're still going to borrow two trillion dollars and a few days ago on the ten and twenty year treasury notes, and we had to pay more interest. Large numbers of foreign investors and others want more interest to take our debt. We have about eight to ten trillion of debt coming due later this year. That was at one point seventy five now it's going to be close to five percent. In other words, there's nothing that's happened with DOGE or cuts to the federal workforce that's
going to change the amount of money we borrow. And that's why Thomas Massey and Warren Davidson Republicans, withstood the pressure and said, not on my watch, your comments.
Of the federal budget cannot be repealed by Donald Trump as powerful as he is. The economic reality is a is a reality. And I'm I'm an old fashioned conservative in the sense, in the sense of budgets. You know, it is interesting that America says they are conservative and fiscally conservative is George will point out last.
Time in the show.
Their fiscally conservative in words only in actions their fdr liberals.
Uh.
The fact that the United States can continue to print money forever and ever makes us different than than every country in the world. And tell it does not. And I think what you are seeing slowly, as Hevy Away once wrote, and then suddenly, is a retreat of America from the pinnacle of being an indispensable nation in the world.
And here's where I think is the sad part. Donald Trump, who is a man in deep desire of a legacy and a place, you know, in greatness of American presidents, could have really done that with this, could have reformed Social Security, could have reformed Medicaid, could have actually forced through big cuts. We now know that DOGE did far less than ten percent of what it promised, and could have changed the trajectory of America's financial future for the
next one hundred years. This was a big missed opportunity to get a couple of tax cuts, and I think that will go down as just that, a real missed opportunity.
For the last three or four months, all I've seen is about Doosee taking a chainsaw. I've heard the slashing Medicare, Medicaid, et cetera. At the bottom line, we're spending more money and the next fiscal, then we spend in the last fiscal more money after that. I love the term dynamic scoring was not done by the CBO. That doesn't take into account all the economic growth and the TEX cuts.
But in reality, we cannot owe fifty trillion dollars with another one hundred and fifty trillion and unfunded liabilities, and stay is a nation that's functional. We can't do it. It doesn't work. And these piddling arguments about work requirements are interesting, But to change the financial trajectory, the most predictive calamity is about to strike America in the next
five to ten years has been avoided again. And I've said Leland Vedderte of News Nation before that, if this crew cannot get that done, if this crew cannot advance social security retirement, age means tested to some extent. If this crew cannot change the trajectory of our debt, then there's no hope with a Keem Jeffreys or Governor Pritzer becoming the president of them doing it, and we're in deep trouble.
But well, I don't think it's not only not a hope, but there's not a desire.
Yeah, if you don't have a desire, there's no hope. Well, I have no hope. And these other nations are going to No, they don't want to. They want to favor whichever party's in power. Those who support that party get the goodies, and the other party gets a haircut, and then the other party gets back in charge and the opposite takes place. And that's just the way it is. And I don't there's no desire. And that's why to an extent, I get Congressman Thomas Massey, and I get Warren Davidson.
At least they're saying, no, wait a minute, we can't live like this much longer. And at some point the chickens are going to come home to roost, and you don't want to be around when it happens. Is going to be very ugly. It's going to be a nineteen thirties type Germany situation in which we're going to need wheale barrows full of money to buy a loaf of bread because the value of our currency is going to plumb and anyone getting a check from the government's going
to suffer along with many others. But Leland vetter to continue to have a great Memorial Day weekend. I'll continue to watch and we'll see what happens down the road with Harvard et cetera, and see what happens with the tax bill as he goes to the Senate. But once again, thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show, and Leland, you're a great American. Thank you very much. Thank you, Bill, God bless you. Letus continue with more happy days are
here again. Spend as if there's no tomorrow, borrow more money, pass on the bills through our kids and grandkids. Let them deal with it, and don't like it one bit. I had hopes of doge what one trillion, two trillion. It turned out to be less than one hundred and fifty billion dollars, a well less than ten percent and probably closer to five percent. And then that will grow over time. Back once again. Well over two trillion dollars a year that we borrow, which is about six billion
dollars every day of new money. Bill Cunningham, the Grand American, live with you every Sunday night.
Here's what's trending now on the new and improved iHeartRadio app.
Sarah Jessica Parker almost walked away from Sex and the City.
She talks about that and a lot more. Billy Cunningham once again, Memorial Day is tomorrow, Mymorral Day weekends ongoing, and I want to again recognize the sacrifice of about one point one million Americans, men and women that have given their life for this nation since seventeen seventy six. And it is a sacrifice that so few of us make, and the families profoundly affected, and I thank them for their sacrifices, and I acknowledge those left behind. This weekend
need a special commemoration. And lastly, Leland Vedder mentioned it, as did Scott Powell, that we live in difficult times. Thank god we have a president that's functioning right now, not one who's not mentally alert, who was taken over by doctor Joe Biden and Hunter Biden and Ron Klain and Anita Dunn and others who ran the presidency as the media was quiet, didn't say a damn thing. In fact,
they were complicit in the cover up. The greatest cover up the twenty first century politically has been the inability of the mainstream needed to recognize that the Biden presidency was a fake and a fraud from the moment Hunter Biden and the family maximized their money from overseas sources.
The family should be investigated. And we have a presidency that was covered up in this competency by Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer and Keem Jefferies and all the Democrats who knew they had a Putts of putts in the White House they could manipulate and use the auto pen to create pieces of legislation and or to open up the southern border, and or to appoint federal judges and or to sign bills that Joe Biden himself had no
clue what was going on. But thanks for listening to some Memorial Day weekend, and once again, if you time tomorrow, say solent prayer for the sacrifice of one point one million Americans who gave it all so we can enjoy the freedoms they paid for with their blood and with their lives. Say a prayer for them, and once again we acknowledged that the sacrifice also of the families and the ones left behind. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, with you, all great Americans, every Sunday night,
