Hi, I'm Billy Cunningham, the Great America. Welcome this Easter Sunday night, and I may you and yours listen be listening. Later on, we have objective proof coming, not just subjectivity, but objective proof as to the existence of Jesus of Nazareth, proof as to his crucifixion, proof as to his burial, and proof as to his resurrection. Without a resurrection, there would be no Christ because only God could have done what Jesus had done, which is be killed and then
three days later arise from the dead. That doesn't happen except through divine intervention. And if you've seen the movie The Passion of the Christ, which I think was hard to watch but fabulous, it was obvious that the man depicted there. Mel Gibson's film had a man that was beaten to within a half an inch of his life and seeped away. The eyewitnesses to the crucifixion within a generation or less, wrote down what had occurred, and also
that he was buried. Joseph came and got him buried before sundown, and then he rose from the dead is clear. And among various things. Number One, you had twelve apostles, you might recalled the Matthias took the place of Judas, and at the crucifixion site, they were all, shall we say, beyond devastated. They thought, Okay, we've been following this guy for three years, and look what's happening right now. It's awful, it's terrible. And as a consequence, he's not who he
says he was, because he's dead. In fact, that they were so uncertain about what they were watching that Peter denied the Christ three times, and you might recall Jesus told him that he would deny him three times before the cock road in the morning, and the cock road and Peter, Saint Peter, denied him three times. And there was one or two apostles out the crucifixion site, which was terrible to watch a man slowly died.
That they loved.
He was basically skinned, alive and beaten to within a half an inch of his life of his death, and he died on the cross. The sword was taken and thrust between his ribs, threw his pericardium, threw the lining into his lungs, into his heart to make sure he was dead, taken down from across, and the apostles at that point said, we've wasted three years because this guy is dead. He said he was the son of God, the son of man. Now look what we're looking looking
at him. John was looking at him, saying, my God, look at this. His mother was there and watched it all. And if that was the end of the story, I would not be a practicing Roman Catholic right now, because what he was saying was false. He would have been a false prophet. The proof is only in the resurrection
from the dead, the forgiveness of sins. And how do we know that took place, Well, there were about ten to twelve appearances he made, and that one point was in front of five hundred people, and they saw that the resurrected Christ was in fact the son of God, because only the son of God could have resurrected himself from the tomb, whether it's a holy sepulcher or whether the garden tomb. I've been in both. I think it's
holy sepulcher. But wherever it was that, only a living God could have erected himself cause himself to live after that. And how do we know that's true because the apostles eyewitness has said it happened. And the key piece of evidence, among many others, is that at the sight of the crucifixion, the eleven apostles that remained were done. In fact, Peter denied them, and they thought, okay, we've wasted the last
three years. And then when the Christ appeared to them several times shall we say, shocked and amazed at what they were watching, and that was the proof to them that this was the son of God, the son of Man, Jesus is divine. Otherwise, why would they spend the next several decades of their lives preaching a gospel when it was false, when it was not based upon solid ground, based upon things they have observed, And who in the
right mind would give their life for a lie. Except for John, the other eleven apostles were killed in horrible ways. Some were skinned alive, some were crucified, some were stoned to death, some were burned alive, and they all gave their life for this person. Now would they have done that if it was a lie themselves? If Christ was not resurrected, Would you give your life.
For a lie?
I don't think so. So it's real and what he said is real. We have many accounts. We have Scott Powell coming up later, who's written quite a column at townhall dot com about Easter. The resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever. In fact, he lives today. And secondly, he's the only biblical character. In fact, the Bible foretold his arrival one thousand years before it occurred, and it happened. And it's sad that many do not accept it as true.
But nonetheless, the essence of what Jesus said and what he did, the crucifixion, the resurrection from the death, that for forgiveness of sins is reality. Nobody having watched the resurrected Christ would say that is not the son of man. Right there, And they spent the rest of their life preaching his gospel and gave their lives for him. Would you give your life for a lie. All of them, not half of them or a third of them, one hundred percent gave their life for Jesus of Nazareth.
All right, that's coming up later.
Secondly, once again, the lamestream media is going absolutely nuts about Kilmar Abrego Garcia. They're laying down the law that we will sacrifice whatever it is. It's a constitutional crisis if Garcia is not brought back from El Salvadorian prisons and given a fair hearing, which he's gotten too so far in the States of America before seventeen federal judges. And one of the items not well reported is that President Bouquetli of l Salvador is not a great fan
of the United States of America. Write that down. He receives billions of dollars from the communist Red Chinese for infrastructure repair, for bridges and roads, for highways, for sanitation systems and water systems, and he was elected with one thought in mind. The people of San Salvador, the capital in El Salvador, headed up to here with gang violence. Then MS thirteen ran the country and President of Bukhyley's
life is constantly at risk. He made one promise, if you elect me I'm going to jail MS thirteen and go after them hard. And MS thirteen is largely now out of El Salvador, that it'd rather be in Texas than El Salvador because the Democratic Party will support MS thirteen. So Bookaylee said, came to the White House outcome. He accepts money from America to house these criminals, these gang bangers, these human traffickers, because it has some cost to house them.
And the President has said that under law, I have the power and the ability to take these individuals and put them outside of this country without a lot of due process because they're part of the Alien Enemies Act passing seventeen ninety nine, and I have the power to.
Do so, and damn, I'm going to do it.
And he did it.
He certainly did it, no question he did it. And now you have federal judges stepping in doing everything in their power under the Alien Enemies Act to say the President doesn't have the ability to do that. Did the Supreme Court issue an order to the President that he has not followed.
The answer is no.
You might recall late Friday night, early Saturday morning, the Supreme Court justice has issued an order not to send more Al salvadoran MS thirteen gang members and some to Venezuela and some to El Salvador. And the administration complied. And the President has said, you know what, I'm going to follow the orders of the United States Supreme Court,
and he's appealing these decisions. And I thought Justice Samuel Alito said some rather interesting things and his so called dissent with Clarence Thomas, and that he said, among other things, that we have not determined whether the Alien Enemies Act was properly employed by this president. The answer, by the way, is going to be yes. That is not a judicial function, it is not a legislative function. It's a presidential function.
He went on to say that the majority did not provide a detailed explanation in the order early Saturday morning, as this typical, but the Court previously said deportations could proceed only after those to be removed had a chance to argue their case in court and were given reasonable time to contest their pending removals, all of which applied
in Garcia's case. Alina went on to say both the executive and the judiciary have an obligation to follow the law, and the Justice's brief orders did not follow the policies and procedures of the United States Supreme Court. So it seems to me that one justice said, wait a minute, who are we to sit as the grand potentates on these issues when we don't have the opposing party before us,
we have unverified affidavits, we've not had a hearing. Alida said, the only papers before this court were those submitted by the applicants, who are the terrorists themselves. The Court is not ordered to receive a response from the government regarding either the applicants' factual allegations or any other legal issues presented by the application, and the court did not have the benefit of a governmental response. He went on to say the applicants allegedly were in eminent danger of removal
provided by law. He noted that while the court did not hear directly from the government regarding these matters under the Alien Enemies Act in this case, the government lawyer in a different matter had totio Sister Court Judge and Friday evening that no such deportations were then planned either Friday or Saturday. But we acted nonetheless, Sue Sponte, on
our own, and he's saying in some this is alito. Literally, in the middle of the night, this court issued unprecedented and legally questionable relief without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party within eight hours of receiving the application, would do beous factual support for its order, and without providing any explanation for what we're doing.
Quote.
I refused to join the Court's order because we had no good reason to think that under the circumstances here, issuing an order at midnight was necessary or appropriate. But the executive and the judiciary have an obligation to follow the law. So if a Supreme Court justice saying the Supreme Court is not following the law, I'd have to think maybe the other seven are reading the New York
Times or listening to MSNBC. He goes on to say that on Friday, two federal judges and the lower courts refused to step in as lawyers for the men launched a desperate legal campaign to prevent the deportations. All by the way, the deportees were all here illegally, none of them or residents legally residents or citizens. And when I'm to say the Fixed Circuit Court of Appeals also refuse to issue an order protecting the detainees from being deported.
So you have the courts below the Supreme Court saying we're not issuing the orders. No, you have the Intermediate Circuit Court saying we're not issuing orders keeping the deportees here. But the Supreme Court seven and nine said, oh, we're going to do it. And Alito said, wait a minute. Don't we have to follow the law ourselves. Are we the grand potentates or with the oracle at Delphi? Who are we to supplant the President and the Congress that
passed the Alien Enemies Act? And we're acting, Sue Sponte quickly without following our own rules. Does the Supreme Court have to follow rules? That's Alito's point. Unbelievable. I watched Chris van Holland the foolish Left doing radical from Maryland, where allegedly Garcia is a illegal resident in Maryland. Talk as if they're discussing this with some saintly man who has MS thirteen tattoos on his knuckles on his left hand, arguing whether he's an MS thirteen member. Then you have
Tennessee stepping forwards in I wait a minute. In twenty nineteen.
We pulled him over.
He had a van in Whish. There were eleven other people, none without, none with luggage. He said he was transporting for work in Maryland without ID, without driver's license, putting at risk those he might run into it. It's incredible. Throw on top of that the sworn affidavit of Garcia's wife and she said he beat the crap out of me. I got video and photographs by the time I got
the court. Guess what if she maintained that she'd be dead and she's acting like aggrieving possible widow on kil Abrego Carzia when a couple of years ago she's trying to get a TPO against him and she dropped it all because she had a gun put to her head. This stuff, this is really unbelievable. So the cable news outlet CNN, especially an MSNBC, is somehow on the side of a wife beating illegal immigrant from Al Salvador who's been in this country illegally for about fourteen years. He's
a gangbanger, look at his knuckles on his hand. He's a human trafficker and he needs to and he's got the deportation orders against him. And but we have to act as if this guy's a paragon of virtue and he's a Maryland father and a Maryland husband. I watched the was an NBC tonight that called him a father and husband who lives in Maryland. Well, in a sense, he does, but he should be living in Al Salvador, which is where he is now. And President Bukeley said,
I'm not sending him back. He's a terrorist. I'm not going to send him known terrorist back to America. And there's no power the US Supreme Court has to send him. To order another country to send a terrorist from their prisons to America.
Who has that power?
President Bukeale could release him this You know, I must live in some alternative universe that somebody thinks we're going to get twisted like a pretzel from the Democratic Party, MSNBC, the mainstream media and not give the American people the history of kilmar Abrego Garcia and act as if he needs to be back in America.
Unbelievable.
And right now the southern border is controlled. You may recall how many times are we told by the Democratic Party in the media, President Laws, we're not sufficient to deal with the immigration crisis. And that we have to pass brand new laws, hiring ten thousand more administrative judges, hiring thirty thousand more border patrol agents, and erecting billions of dollars worth of detention centers because the present law
is insufficient for Joe Biden to act. Here we are about two years after that law fortunately failed, and now we have a different president with the same laws, and the border truly is shut down. And now when someone comes across and demands refugee status, we can give them a quick hearing and determine quickly whether they fit. If they don't fit, they're sent back home. In fact, the law says, if you're not from Mexico, you can be
sent back immediately. That's the law. But the ACLU and the Democratic Party want to stand next to Garcia, a gangbanger and probably homicidal killer and a wife beater, and say, where with that guy right there, We're going to fall down politically, arise on the back in the knuckles of Kilmar Abrego Garcia. That's our poster child for the Democratic Party today. Let's continue, And Samuel Alito has got it right.
Does the Supreme Court of the United States have to follow its own presidents and its own rules and regulations what they can and can't do. And he says, we're breaking our own rules for who El Salvadoran and Venezuela. MS thirteen members all here illegally committing numerous crimes.
Let's continue.
Thousands on old, millions are listening, and we have calls from Las Vegas and Florida and Syracuse, et cetera. We have three lines open, as you know, eight six six six four seven seven three three seven, Bill cunning and the Great American with you every Sunday night. You know one thing, it'd be interesting if the media cover this that Donald Trump has saved the lives of thousands and thousands of Americans by simply upholding and enforcing federal immigration laws.
And is Donald Trump going to get credit for the young Americans not killed by fentanyl or for the boys and girls not raped and thrown into sexual slavery.
I don't think so. And time and.
Time again, this president has demonstrated that he will enforce the law and bring to bear the weight of law enforcement against drug traffickers MS thirteen, TDA and other criminal gangs operating freely in the United States of America. Under Donald Trump. That situation has changed under Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, the gangs flourished and many people made billions and billions of dollars. And it's evil on top of evil on
top of evil. And the moral lectures from the Democrats about immigration policy leaves me flat when I think about the system that turned human beings into sex traffickers and others at the hands of Ms thirteen and TDA. And Donald Trump will never receive the credit that should be his receiving. So many American lives watch the crime rate go down because of Donald Trump on the southern border.
Let's continue with more bill hunting in the Great American with you and all of the great Americans every Sunday night.
Let's continue. We never stop. We simply continue.
And the policies of Donald Trump are working everywhere they've been tried. This guy has not had the first one hundred days honeymoon left us from marching thither and fro hands off, claiming democracies at stake whenever a conservative is elected, democracies at risk. When we freely chose Donald Trump, that was a threat to democracy. How about that's circuits logic? Incredible stuff. Let's take some calls coming up later is
the great way. Wayne Allen Root from Las Vegas. Speaking of that, let's go to j D in Las Vegas, j D and Vegas. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show.
JD.
How are you.
The country?
Hello?
Hello, Hello, Hello, Hi Don and Syracuse. Don and Syracuse. Please go ahead.
Hi Bill, I'm a longtime listener. I'd love to listen to you every Sunday night. You're spot on with everything. But I called concerning your comments about the Crucifixion of Christ.
And I'm a practicing Catholic, and I'm also a piannel director, and so I'm passionate about my faith and the fact that my dad died on two days after Christmas sixteen years ago, and which is also the feast day of Saint Joseph of Aramathea, and uh which I learned a few months after his death that he's a patron saint of funeral directors, which which which gives me a lot of uh uh.
The soulis and.
And my praying for my dad and and deceased members of families that I have taken care of. But your your your comments about the the the Apostles. They all were believers, and they were all put to death for
their belief. And I reading a book that my father had about Jesus more than just a carpenter went on to the writer, the author of that book became a believer the more he researched about the the all the Apostles, and he said, never in the history of time have there been followers that have been willing to uh suffer death due to their belief. And it was and he ended up converting by the end of the book. And it was very moving for me, and not only as
a Catholic, but as a as a funeral director. And like I said, it's very consoling for me to know that my father died on the feast day of Saint Joseph A Barramathea.
And I love your show.
I agree with you one percent, with all of your conservative thoughts and talks, and I just want to say thank you for all that you do for this country and for me personally.
Don look at it this way, these twelve Apostles, not counting of course j to say, eleven of the twelve they watched things happening in their experience. That was that was unbelievable. It was amazing to watch Leper's clean, to watch the lame walk, to watch the dead like Lasarus race and the dead. They watched this, and they were witnesses. They saw it, and this is unbelievable. But then think about this Palm Sunday takes place. He's brought in Jerusalem.
Everyone loves him. All of a sudden. Within the next week, they watched with who they thought was the Messiah being horribly crucified, stripped, naked, beaten, skinned alive, and then hanging on the cross for a three to six hours.
And then they have a spear.
And you know about anatomy going in the ribs, threw the lungs into the heart to make sure he was dead, and water and blood came out. And then they must have thought, Okay, this guy was a false prophet. I mean, I can't believe that he would allow this to happen to himself. Three days later. The reason I believe strongly in the resurrection was that these eleven or twelve guys
then flipped on a dime. They went from this is the Messiah to secondly, I don't know that guy, remember Saint Peter, I don't know who Jesus, I'm not with that guy. Then when the resurrection took place and he came and appeared with them, you had imagined any twelve men or women today gone through what they went through and then have your faith leave you. And then when it came back, he appeared in present and say, touched Saint Thomas, look at my wounds. That would cause me
to believe everything he said was accurate. It would cause me to want to give him my life for the christ. It would cause me to want to spread the good word. And that started Christianity two thousand years ago. But for the Resurrection, Christianity Catholicism would not exist.
That's correct.
It the holiest time of the year for Christians in the Catholic or Christian faith is not Christmas, but Easter.
Easter is the holiest.
Time of year for Catholics and Christians because of his resurrection for us.
And then not only saw him, they spoke to him, they touched him. Because if I'd seen that transpire, I would say I got to see the wounds as Saint Thomas said, put touch him. I would say, I can't believe this. I will Then that was the proof of his divinity. That was the moment and it's commemorated today. And I think if you don't believe, I hope one day you will and I'll tell a little story to you.
And I don't think my brother would mind. My brother was named John Cunningham, and after he went to college Michigan State, he went there on a national merit scholarship. I lost track of him for decades. I heard stories about my brother John in Alaska which he sent me letters here and there. His writing was almost in unlegible. I couldn't and we completely separated, lost completely. He told
me the story that you know. He grew up as a Catholic all the way up until he was about sixteen seventeen years old.
He became an atheist. He became a Buddhist.
There was an occasion where he wanted to learn Japanese and he worked for the federal government in Alaska, and he became encapsulated with Shintoism. So he found a shrine near Osaka, Japan, and he learned Japanese so he could visit this shrine in Osaka with sh Shintoism. And he went there for like six months, and when he showed up the Japanese treated him almost like he was a prophet. He felt so bad about that he went back to Alaska. He finally made his way back home. He helped found
a Mensa chapter in Cincinnati. Warm had kids. He had no kids, but he had he cared for others. He had dogs, he cared for cats, whatever a kind heart. In fact, he volunteered to help disabled adults. He would take them to Coney Island or take them out for dinner. And he was just a wonderful guy and near death. I spent the last year or two of his life moved back home Cincinnati, and I interacted with him a
lot because he was a brilliant, funny guy. He's lying in the hospital bed, he's in hospice, and still he's still loocid. He looked at me with tears in his eyes, and he said he called me Chief. He said, Chief, I think I'm going to Hell. And I said, I said, John, why do you say that? He said, I've not led a good life. I've had many women, I've done things I shouldn't have done, and I think I'm going to hell. And I said, let me do this, John, I'm going to get me a priest I'm very friendly with two
or three priests. I'll get you. Do you want to see a priest? And he said, please, please. From that point on, the priest comes, he hears his confession, right of reconciliation. He gives him communion for the first time since he was seventeen years old. He died when he was seventy seven sixty years And do I think my brother John is in heaven above tonight one because of the good thief on the cross. The good thief on the cross was not a Christian. He never was baptized.
He led a horrible life. I don't know the number of crimes he committed. But on the cross he looked to his left and saw divinity. He saw the Christ. When the other thief said, on the left side, you know, pull yourself off the cross, take us with you if you're the Messiah. And the good thief said, don't mock this man. And Jesus said to him, who was not a follower, who was not baptized, who didn't believe that today you will will be with me in paradise, so
that salvation is available for every person. If that good thief on the cross is in heaven as I believe he is with He was the first person to enter heaven with the Christ, and the last words he heard were the words of Jesus. And then they broke his legs on the cross, and they were going to break Jesus' legs, but the centurion on guard wanted to make sure he was dead, so the spear was thrust into
his chest to make sure he was dead. And that's why they're salvation because no matter who you are, no matter what you've done, the forgiveness of sins is the core of the Roman Catholic faith.
Absolutely true.
Well that's my story and once again, uh Don, thanks for calling, and let's do it every Sunday night.
What do you say.
I'll be listening every Sunday.
And I appreciate all that you do for the country and for your religious belief.
I'm with you one.
Thank you.
And by the way, would you give your life for a lie? And you knew it was a lie? You knew you did not see the resurrected Christ, and you would spend the rest of your life preaching a word that was false, and you would be give your life for a lie? I don't think so. What they saw was so remarkable and so amazing they gave their life. Let's continue now with Mark and Warre in Ohio. And Mark and Warren, Ohio, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Mark, how are you just fine?
Happy Easter?
Mister Cunningham, was a pleasure to talk to you. Thank you.
You're very very straightforward man.
I know you believe in God, and so do I.
Like I called the call screener.
I told him, spoke to him about these people with the immigration stuff and right there in the area, it's gone too far.
You know.
Well, when we have the entire media in this country twisting itself in the pretzels form, when we have the federal judiciary all this for a gang banger who's a wife beater and a human trafficker, and we're going to stop the country and spend millions of dollars to make sure this gang banger who's in El Salvador. And President Bookley said he's not coming back. We don't have the power to take the president of El Salvador to court and order him to do something. And I listened to
Senator Kennedy this morning. He was on one of the morning talk shows and he was talking about we screwed up? Do I think if there's a million hearings, I don't know how we conduct a million hearings that there's not going to be some mistakes. At some point. I would anticipate there would be the mistakes made. Supposedly, this guy's in a president in El Salvador. They know he's the MS thirteen, they know he's a gang banger, Helly, they
have MS thirteen tattooed on his knuckles. Now there's evidence Sherlock right there, And I'm thinking, Okay, if all that's true, why are we doing this to ourselves? It's being done to attack Donald Trump. The media doesn't care about objectivity, independence, or truth giving. They want to attack Donald Trump. And if it's not Signal Gates, it's going to be some other silly ass thing like this. And I can't believe the American people are going to fall for this one.
And right now Donald Trump's approval ratings with immigration going one direction and the Democrats are going another, And so I guess they'll keep it going for Mark. How much longer can we cover this thing? How many more days, weeks or months.
To what happened?
Sean?
Like Sean Hannity said, the news died in two thoyd and eighteen or two thousand and eight.
He was one hundred percent right.
But the fact of the matter, the fact of.
The matter is all these people, whether he was in the gang or not, they come here illegally.
He didn't come here legally.
They come here too illegally, and that was wrong, so they should all be sent back.
Well, there's no question Garcia and his pals are here illegally, and he's been here illegally for sixteen years. All of his families on social welfare benefits of one type or another. He claims to be a sheet metal worker. According to von Holland, I guess the sheet metal workers won him back. He's in the country illegally. He should not be here. He's been ordered back, and he's worried. He's in his native country. He's not a Maryland father and a husband.
He's an MS thirteen gangbanger here illegally, and what part of illegal the media doesn't understand. I don't get it. I live in some alternative universe. Maybe I'll live there with you, Mark. I don't get that fact. I don't get why we twist ourselves into a Pretzel on this kind of an issue when there's right now Donald Trump has saved thousands alive and plummet the crime rate downward
by shutting down the southern border. Effectively, there's going to be thousands of Americans alive who otherwise would not be alive. There'll be less drug use, less human trafficking, less car break ins, less burglaries because of Donald Trump. Will they ever get credit for that?
Ever?
Will know what the news being the way it is, it's rigged.
It's rigged against anybody it's a Conservative.
Or a Christian.
They don't want to hear it, and.
They don't want to see it, and they're going to fabricate lies.
Until the last day of honor. I'll tell you that right now.
Yeah, you're making a lot of sense. And thank you for your call. Let's continue eight six six six four seven seven three three seven. Let's continue with more Bill Cunning and the great American with you and all great Americans every Sunday night.
Hi, Billy Cunning.
I must go to Nick in Chicago listening on WGN run a course by some great Americans like my good friend and others in Chicago. Done a great job. Sean Compton, et cetera, and Nick and Chicago. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Nick, how are you?
Oh fine, listen to Youick, I'll meet you and better, Thank you, thank you.
I want to yeah, I.
Told a screener that want to first thank you again and your staff and all the people in all the stations who work on these major holidays. You know, you could easily have a rerun program and I still listen to it because you're very interested to listen to. But when you're live like this, besides, something's going on in the world.
Just because Sunday.
Night here someplace else, it's Monday morning already, you know what I mean, or Monday mid day. So anyhow, and then thank you for all your insight and explanation about Jesus. Some people weren't aware that that he was tortured a lot the day before until he was put on a cross the next day and hung there for several hours. Some people say it's six hours, but so thank you
for that. But I want to say that this situation was this guy down in El Salvador where some of these democrats, I don't know if they're going nuts or if they're nuts already and it's too late.
But they yes.
They seem to be compelled with getting this guy like free from there, but free period, you know, get them off the hook. And I really have this word voting feeling. It's gonna set a bad president with some of these other uh people in these gangs that they're gonna somehow bring them back. He's gonna end up suing us over here, suing the government sure, and get about thirty million dollars maybe as a settlement. And I mean, I really, you know,
I have that for voting feeling. And in the worst, not just him, but Worses is gonna encourage all the other gangs to just go completely not and do whatever they want.
Well, you know, Senator white House, a liberal senator Democratic course, said that we may have to pay reparations to the MS thirteen gang bangers. And I'm watching this, I said, I watch MSNBC, Nick, so you don't have to. But there's a movement of foot by the Democratic Party to pay reparations to MS thirteen. I'm looking at this, Sheldon Whitehouse, are you kidding me? We're gonna pay out of your money, out of your pocket, Nick, reparations for Garcia and other
MS thirteen. Gang bangers are a lot up some in Texas right now. And if that happens, I'm going to go to Madagascar and breed Kmodo dragons because I can't take it anymore.
I'd live in some alternative universe.
I agree with you.
I'm retired now for twelve years, but I'll tell you I work my whole life. I've never been a welfare unemployment comp nothing in that worked long hours, seven days a week twice.
You're my kind of guy. I'm with you.
I'm with you, And it's guys like me and you and the people who work with your show there all over all these stations across the country, who's are earning money honestly, who are being taxed out of money? The government has a strength from that, not from all these illegals that come in and giving them money. You see what I mean.
No, I tell you Garcia's families on disability income, every one of his kids have a special need. His wife's on foodstamps disability. And now now the Democratic Party says we may pay reparations Demos thirteen And if that happens, I'm going to Madagascar. Thanks for your calls. Continue. I just talked to Wayne Allen Roots on his way to a Vegas hockey game, and I said, give me about
ten or fifteen minutes. He said, okay, So my first guest tonight is going to be Wayne Allen Root live from Las Vegas on his way to a hockey game the Golden Knights. I'm not sure either're playing. I'm sure it's in the playoffs. Don't know much about hockey, but I'm kind of a basketball guy in the Basketball Hall of Fame. That's a different story. Don't get hockey. It's
a great sport. But nonetheless, Wayne Allen Route will be here soon and if a line becomes available eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven and all this week we're gonna hear more about gang bangers and tattoos on knuckles, MS thirteen and spousal abuse and human trafficking, and the fact that we Americans may have to pay reparations to MS thirteen members through the Democratic Party Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday.
Night, Willie Love You.
By Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill cunninghad.
By Bill Cunningham, the Great Americans. So much going on. I watched some of the morning talk shows. Again we have went allen route joining us. So much to talk about about tariffs and about a plan he has to find out who cheated in the twenty twenty election by paying people off, and so much about COVID until we get to that stuff once again, you have liberals in big cities falling over themselves to support MS thirteen, homicidal killers who trafficked women, drugs and guns inside of our
country that are here illegally. And you got Van Holland, the US Senator from Maryland, and many to follow. I'm told gonna go down to Salvo, and I live in some alternative universe.
I don't get it.
When on the route, before we get to these other issues, give me your take on what's happening with the liberal obsession. It's an obsession with Garcia and MS thirteen.
Yeah, there's there's actually two takes.
I've got on it one of them.
I'm about to write a column tomorrow.
And by the way, happy Easter to you, Bill and your family and everybody out there.
Appy Easter to everybody.
Thank you.
I just got back from mar A Lago. We had a great week by wife and I just happen to be passover.
I know it would be. And I wound up at mar A Lazo.
I was the master's ceremonies for the annual Lincoln Day Galla of our public party at Palm Beach and got a chance to spend some time with President Trump.
I worked up to he was eating dinner with I Musk and his son x I. That was funny.
We had a chance to chat a little bit and we had a great time. And we're back now in Las Vegas with families. Three of my four kids are in town, so we were out with them today for a beautiful lunch. Will be out with them all week to dinners and.
Now we're headed.
I'm in the car headed to the Las Vegas Nights playoff hockey games. So it's very exciting. So that's why I'm in the car. But hopefully you hear me loud tore right.
You sound okay, sound great?
All right?
So look there's suit takes.
Number one is I've been a good guy my whole life, just like you. I've never been in trouble. I've never broken the law. I don't drink, I don't smoke, and I've never done a drug in my life, even pot. Never smoke marijuana in my life. I've been cleaned my whole life. I've made money in my whole life. I've paid taxes my whole life. I got a wife, I got four kids. I love my kids.
They love me.
Aren't I what America is supposed to be? Does anyone ever fight for me? Does any Democrat ever fight for you or me? Did they ever care about our lives being ruined by illegals, or by high taxes or regulations or depression caused by.
Their horrible policies? Now, I couldn't care less about us.
But they have an obsession with skang.
Bangers with MS thirteen on their knuckles. It's so bizarre.
They hate us, They love weirdos, they love transgenders, they love murderers, they love.
Felons, they love illegal aliens, Ammas thirteen and trend de rabua.
Their whole life is about helping the most horrible people in society and screwing over the best like you and me have done nothing but been salt of the earth, bring wonderful all American people. So it just doesn't make sense. I've always believed by the way that there's a reason for this. The Democrat politicians and the law and especially the judges are paid off by China and the Mexican
drug cartel. There's no other explanation for why they care so much about bringing the worst and the worst into America and stopping us from deporting people that have no right to be here, that want of murderous rob us rape us. They're on the payroll making millions in offshore bank accounts for the Mexican drug cartel. They make money because the borders open, and they make money because get gang bangers are in this country, running the drugs, running the prostuits, running.
The child sex trafficking. That's why they're on their team. But the second one I want to get in real quick.
This is a column I'm gonna write to borrow, which is, you know, you may not know this bill, but fifteen or twenty years ago, I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was well over a decade ago. I was the first guy to write a column and be on TV and radio suggesting the way to defeat this a weird obsession of Democrats with illegals is to is to ship all the illegals via via airplane and via bus to rich liberal cities, you know, like all the cities on the East coast, Scarsdale.
On the West coast, Beverly Hills, Palo Alto.
Martha's Vineyard, right cities, Nantucket. Send all the illegals to there. That's why they're on their team. But the second one I want to get in real quick.
This is a.
Column I'm gonna write to borrow, which is you know, you may not know this bill, but fifteen or twenty years ago. I can't remember exactly what it was, but it was well over a decade ago. I was the first guy to write a column and be on TV and radio suggesting the way to defeat this weird obsession of Democrats with illegals is to ship all the illegals via via airplane and via bus to rich liberal cities, you know, like all the cities on the East coast, Scarsdale.
On the West Coast, Beverly Hills, Palo Alto.
Martha's Vineyard, Wright Cities, Nantucket. Send all the illegals to their towns and their school their private schools, and make them cry uncle. And of course it's worked. It really was a very successful strategy. And I don't think it's bragging to say it was my baby. And now I'm going to take that same strategy, and I've made a
little twist in it, Okay, a little change. And the change is I want to find out the home address of all the Supreme Court justices and the judges like Boseburg and was it chuckin all the judges that are trying to protect the illegals.
And screw over us. And I want to send.
All the illegals to their homes and their neighboroos, and their children's private schools, and.
Their supers and their hair salons and their gyms, and.
By the way, also surround thousand of them around the Supreme Court so they have to step over them to get to work. That's how you're gonna end this problem. Because as soon as their wives and their children freak out and say, oh my god, my wife was almost rady today, Oh my God, my children were beat up at school by a gang of the legals.
All of a.
Sudden, they're gonna change their tumb all of a sudden. It's not in my backyard.
We're gonna send them to their backyard and let them live it.
If they like them so much.
Let them live with trend dere rock Well, let them live with them as thirteen. Let them live with Muslim terrorists. Whoever is voting against us, whatever judge is trying to stop us, and that includes to me, two Supreme Court justice that are very bad. They're either blackmails or their bride by the deep state, and that is Justice Roberts and Amy Cody Barrett. They are bad. There's something wrong with them. They're dirty, Mark my words. Is something wrong
with Amy Cody Barrett. And I've said this about judge the Chief Justice Roberts for fifteen years, that when he voted against us twice on the biggest issue of our time, Obamacare, their jury, there's something wrong with them getting not on our team and their liars. They're frauds and they're being brought 're blackmailed by someone. So let's take their lives miserable.
Trump knows their home mattresses.
Drop all the illegals off at their homes, and you watch what happens next.
Alito said, among other things, on Saturday morning, it's like two o'clock in the morning. This court issued un presidented and legally questionable relief, without giving the lower courts a chance to rule, without hearing from the opposing party, within eight hours of receiving the application, with dubious factual support,
and without providing any explanation for its order. Talking about the majority, he went on to say, the executive and judiciary branches have an obligation to follow the rules, just like the Congress. How come he says, we're not following Supreme Court rules, which has certain ideas. So he's saying, look, we tell the Congress this is elite in his opinion, We tell the Congress that follow the law. We tell the president to follow the law. What is in the
Supreme Court follow the law? Which is an interesting And you have these gang bangers, and about eight hours ago the President released their criminal record. It's the worst kind of rape and mass murder and drug dealing and torture and human trafficking and declared under the Alien Enemies Act. To get the hell out of this country, and you have seven Supreme Court justices to say, now, wait a minute there, let's have more hearings.
They shouldn't be here in the first place.
They're all here illegally, like a Brego Garcia guy sixteen years ago walked into the country and it's been a one man crime wave ever since. He's a wife beater, he's a gang banger, he's a human trafficker. It came out in Tennessee. He was pulled over with about eleven people in the car without any luggage and no driver's license, no insurance. They let him go because the FBI said
let him go, like five or six years ago. And he's got MS thirteen tattooed on his knuckles, and people are saying, well, wait a minute, let's give this guy more due process.
I'll give him due process.
In al Savador, let me give you two chacks.
Think about the last fifteen years, Barack Obama, Joe Biden, how many times they broke the United States Constitution and the Supreme Court never felt the urge to step Inlika was an emergency. They intentionally destroyed this country with the open border. They let everybody in. They gave them all welfare and food staffs and free school and free healthcare. And they did all that, by the way bill, with our tax money, and nobody from the Supreme Court cared
to step in. But now they're an emergency to step in. When the President of the United States with executive authorities kicking the bad guys out of the country.
The criminals, the murderers, the ms.
Thirty tattoos on their hands, tattoos on their faces, they're here to destroy our country and they want them to have to sing rights Americans, uf THO rights when you're here as an illegal alien. Let me bring up one more point and you can still hear it.
Clearly, right, Yeah, you sound great, Okay.
Yeah, we're driving on the highway in Vegas. So the other point is, you know, I work out of a workout guy, I worked out two hours a day of the gym. To work out, you gotta watch movies, right, and otherwise you know, it's just too boring and you feel the pain.
I get through it by watching a movie and I don't even remember I'm working out. It's beautiful. So I watched the documentary on.
John Gotti and his son John Gotti.
Junior, and it was fascinating.
It was a father son documentary and John Gotty Junior I didn't remember any of this. I was probably a little too young and or I didn't care. Whatever the reason was, it wasn't in the media enough. John Gotti Senior obviously bad guy killer.
He died in prison. He got what he deserved.
But John Gotti Junior is not a bad guy, and he turned that life down in order. He took a seven year plea and said to the government, if you'll leave me alone, I'm out of the life forever. I don't want to be a gangster. I don't want to run my father's empire. I'll go to prison for seven years.
I'll do my time.
I'll be a man, and then when I get out, I want to raise my children and be back with the wife I loved. And you know, when he had a week to go out of seven years in prison, When he had a week to go, the government comes in. They broke it once again. The government's a bad guy. The government's worse than The government broke their own agreement that they would never prosecute him again, and they came after him, tried to put him a jail for another thirty years, so he would never get.
Out and see his kids and see his daughter's wedding and see his wife again. And it was a hung jury.
So they came after him again.
And it was a hung jury.
This John Gotti Junior came after him again the third time hung jury, came after him, a fourth time hung jury, and every jury concluded. The jury concluded the man was out of the life and was not involved in organized crime anymore. Yet the government had have been debta and they persecuted him again and again and again. The poor guy went through hell and spent millions. In the end, he's now living with his wife's kids. He's not an organized crime. He's a good citizen like you and me.
And that's it.
That's the end of the story. Now, let me ask you something. Where was Supreme Court intervening on heat be aff when this is going on.
Why is it you're intervening.
On behalf of low life scumback illegal aliens.
Who were not born in the United States.
John Gotti Junior was an an American citizen, and none of them ever cared that the government was perscutit.
How about Trump? How about a Steve Bannon, how about Peter Navarro. The list is long of all the people persecuted.
By this government, and the Supreme Court never felt the urge to step in, But for illegal gang bang scumbag savages, they jump in. And I got to tell you something is wrong. They're dirty, and I just have no faith in them anymore.
And I've said this for a long time. And we should send all the illegals to the homes.
And the private schools for the children of the Supreme Court justice and to the US Supreme Court and let them live the life they want.
Us to live.
Steven Miller, as you know, I've had them on a couple of times when it was out of office.
It's a great guy.
And let me share with you three sentences he wrote on Saturday, when the Biden administration would not prosecute the rapist human traffickers of all these girls out of South America. Quote, it's evil on top of evil, evil on top of evil.
I'm not interested in moral lectures from anyone in America, in the media or the Democratic Party or the corporate pressor about immigration policies when the left has been complicit and the greatest crimes against humanity that we've seen in god knows how many years in America, a system that turned human beings in a fodder for the cartels and participated in a mass rate, an exportation of children, and the mass murder of Americans. I do not want to hear from the Democrat Party. That's classic.
Great there, right, it's exactly right. And what I'm saying is, it's not just that they're doing that. It's unnatural, bill that anybody would want to help people like this. It's unnatural. So I'm telling you somebody's paying off somebody. As sure as I'm standing here. There's billions of dollars a week on the line.
And if you were if.
You were the Cortel, right, or if you were China who's making all the fedinel that the cartel delivers in the United States, wouldn't you think, well, listen, we got to keep the border open. The way to keep the border open is let's go to the Democrat Party in a few choice rhinos, and let's make them rich and offshore accounts, and they will stall and stall, install.
For years and years and years. Pretty soon we'll.
Get, you know, billions and billions dollars a week worth of the drugs into the country, you know, and I'm telling you it's happening as sure as I'm standing here. Are politicians and our judges are making money off of illegal immigration. It's a conflict of interest, it's treason, and they hate their own country. They're selling out the United States of America and everybody who's listening to.
Me right now.
Well, the other issue is that hands off. Yesterday's Saturday, they were like supposedly a million, might have been one hundred thousand people protesting, well paid for and they're protesting the continuation of an open border. They're protesting in favor of MS thirteen gang members, they're protesting in favor of
the Biden policies. And we just had a big election, not even you know, Trump has not reached his one hundred day in office for about another week, and his policies have not been in effect much more than about ninety days. And look what he's done on the southern border that has collapsed. And there was one story that cartels were making about ten billion dollars a month and they've been cut off and they're so angry they can't
see straight. And now they want the southern border to be open and US Supreme Court may stand with not only the cartels, but with human traffickers.
Brego Garcia.
And then this morning Van Holland on one of those Sunday morning talk shows. What did not answer the question what did you ask Garcia? Is he a member of MS thirteen? Did you ask him let me see your knuckles? He said, I didn't ask him that, of course not, because he is.
There's three things that are stunning to me. One that anybody would stand, you know, would be so obsessed with protecting and defending the worst scum of the earth.
That's number one. These are people that have been let out of prison all over the world.
They opened the prison doors and sent them to America because Obama and Joe Biden told them, bring your people to America. That's all good. We'll take anybody. We're not going to check their backgrounds. We'll give them all welfare, we'll give all food staffs, give all Obama phones. We'll give lawyers for free, We'll give the healthcare for free.
Does anyone give you or.
Me or anyone listen else here, or lawyers for free, in that school for free, college for free? Because illegal, it's just never made sense to me. Why Anyon would defend them never made sense. Why the Democrat Party would defend men playing in women's sports and screwing over girls. It makes no sense. And to be honest with your green energy is the third one that we all know the minute you mentioned the word green energy and climate change.
You're going to be increasing, doubling and triple and quadrupling middle class people's electric bills and the fuel in their car and their natural gas bills at home. You're going to be destroying middle class people. Green energy is the death of the middle.
Class of America.
It doesn't work, so learned wind are ten times more expensive. No one could afford to pay the electric bill to the gas bill or the fuel in your car. But Democrats want all of this. They are either mentally ill, suicide bombers who hate this country. They're psychotic, they're sick, they're pathetic, or they're on the take from China and the Mexicans drug cartel to destroy and weakeness so China wins and the border stays open, so the Mexican Trump
cartails make money. That's the only thing that makes sense for everything that these crazy people on the left believe.
Him I'll tell you what the hockey game is starting out. We're up against the clock. I have no time to left, and that we didn't get to the issues that we wanted to discuss. We'll do it in a week or two. But Root for America dot Com. I'm looking at it right now. Many columns up there, but Alito has it right. Supreme Court Justice said, if we want the Congress to following rules and regulations in the law, we ask the president to do it. We're in the Supreme Court. Don't
follow our own mandates. We don't follow president. We don't follow our own rules because we wanted to find result, but I got it, Wayne Allen.
Route, we got to go.
Thank you very much, and thanks for calling in on your way to a Vegas hockey game.
Thank you, Thanks vill. Happy Easter to everyone. God bless your Root for America. That's just my website. It's what I do. Root for America.
God Bless America. Thank you, Allen, Wayne Allen Root.
All I can say is something smart, something's wrong that we defend wife beaters, human traffickers, murderers, and drug traffickers and fentanyl and we tell every god fearing Americans, you're the problem. Under the Alien Enemies Act, the President can do exactly what he said he was going to do, and he did it. And the Supreme Court said, wait a minute, we're going to overturn president, disregard our own rules, and grant a temporary injunction.
What the hell's going on? Bill Cunningham with you Every Sunday.
Night By Billy Cunningham, the Great American, once again, way out the route on his way to a hockey game. Put the cheese on the cracker. This is unbelievable how America has been made to look so foolish so often by the behavior of left wing activists and liberals that have destroyed American cities and toward California into a near desert when it comes to economic growth, terrible place to live. And we got to act as if the arguments of the radical left is somehow makes sense when it doesn't
make sense. Why we allow this country to be taken over by left wing activists acting as if the rights of mister Garcia somehow take away the rights of you and I I don't believe it. I think he's here illegally. There have been numerous deportation orders against him. He's right now in a prison in El Salvador. President Bouquelee of L Salvador said, I'm not sending him back. He's MS thirteen. Everyone here knows he's Ms thirteen. Damn it, He's got
Ms thirteen tattooed on his knuckles. He's not coming back home. But that's not enough for ABC, NBCCBS or PBS. They will politically die on the hill of making sure Ms thirteen game bankers have all the rights and protections of an American citizen which they do not have. Unbelievable when
I'm watching I must live in some alternative universe. Stay tuned for more coming up next as the Kevin Jackson of the Kevin Jackson Network dot Com about this issue and so many more, plus later on to Scott Powell of the Meaning of Eastern Bill Kunn, the Great American, with you every Sunday Night. Bill Cunningham, the Great American. The Kevin Jacksonnetwork dot Com. Have the website up. It's
on my computer. I check it quite often. Kevin Jackson is a great American and humorist, a little bit of a comic at times, but also a great thinker about what's happening in America and a patriot and Kevin Jackson, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. I look on your website, so much is there, and I think about hills to die on. You have a column up about leftists keep touching the electric fence, and it's happening again that all the media cared about the last several days.
It continues because of the so called contempt finding of Judge Boseburg that somehow the hill upon the Democrats are dry on One is transgender men to women playing women's sports in the state of Maine, and now the main's being sued. And also a bad Garcia appears to come to this country illegally about fifteen or sixteen years ago, seemingly been involved in lots of criminal activities as a part of MS thirteen. He has two deportation orders against
him to leave. One of them was stayed because he feared he was going to be killed in El Salvador. He's in the wrong gang. He's not in TDA, He's in MS thirteen, and two judges have determined he's in a gang. He's here illegally. I assume he's committed numerous felonies of one type or another over the past lowth
of these many years. Yet I'm supposed to care a lot about this about this individual who's a gang member, I greatly care about him when he's not a US citizen and he lives here illegally, and your story points that out. So upon what hills should the Democrats die on if you want to get rid of that party. One should be transgender rights. The other one should be the life of Abrego Garcia. Give me a full report.
My point is in writing the article is what are the Democrats right about? They're not right about anything. I mean, you've heard guys like Stephen Miller, who works for the administration, say the Democrats are on the ten percent side of the ninety ten and everything it used to the ability we could look at seventy thirty, sixty forty, right, sixty forty. If you got sixty percent of the vote, you were in good shape. Donald Trump is getting ninety percent sometimes.
In these and the things that he's doing.
And the Democrats will still vote against it. I mean, think about everything that's happening in this country. I'm not going to tell anybody anything new here. Doge goes in finds waste, fraud and abuse, tracks it all over the world, shows that it's tied back to USAID, which is a CIA front, that money's being filtered back into ActBlue going to Democrat and Lino campaigns, and the Democrats want to die on that by torching Elon Musk, Tesla dealerships and
demonizing the guy who can land spaceships backwards. On what planet would you not want Donald Trump and Elon Musk in charge of what is going on in your country. There's no place where you wouldn't want two of the brightest minds, business people that are successful in multiple disciplines to do it. But the Democrats want to die on that hill. And they die on the fossil fuels hill, they die on the border hill.
They die on that.
You said bring who would bring in bad guys and say, not only do I want to bring him back, Corey Booker and others want to violate the Logan Act and.
Go to El Salvador to lobby to bring this criminal back.
Well, I'm just saying the level of stupidity that showcases. And by the way, I'm not mad at them because they're even convincing their own people how stupid they are with the things that they're doing. The transgender issue is the biggest joke on the planet. Who you know, we know men can't be women period. Yet the Democrats want to die on that hill. Donald Trump says he wants to implement tariffs. They say tariffs are bad. If they're
so bad, why do they work for other countries? I mean, these are not deep thought type things, Bill, these are things that the average person goes.
Okay, So why is it that you know, Canada.
Can charge two hundred and thirty percent on butter and eggs, but we can't do the same to them. It doesn't make sense. And why we have this massive trade deficit. That would be the nineteenth largest country in the world that that's stood on its own our deficit debt, that the money that we spend in the interest on the debts would be that would be one of the top forty countries if it's stood on its own on GDP. I mean, when does it make sense that anything these people are saying?
Well, and I have on Trump administration officials, they will say thirty years ago, a serious blunder was made that as putting China in the world Trade organization breaking down the barriers. They don't have a functional court system. They lie, cheat and steel ip. Mister wonderful o'larry does a great job describing what they're in business, not to create new
products at a lower price. They're in the business of floating hot air balloons over our country, killing our kids with fentanyl, and then also having no access to their court system as we give them access to our court system, and they have tariffs that are confiscatory. You don't see forge and chevyes. I love as Chevy Blazer driving around Beijing,
but Chinese products are all over this country. And all of a sudden, now Trump is the first guy ever, whether it's Bush or Clinton or Obama Biden, stand up and say this cannot continue. He's catching serious flack from the mainstream media just on that front. And if tariffs are so bad as you said, how come every country has them? And secondly, if the American consumer's paying all the tariffs, why should the countryes care? Then they're not
paying them, the consumers paying them. But in reality it is a shared expense in order to build a manufacturing other jobs in this country. And I'm looking at this, am I missing something here, and at no point as of an objective, independent reporting by any of the so called news media outlets, are the benefits of tariffs in this country. It's all the opposite, and it won't stop. It will not stop at all.
But you want. But here's what's the most interesting bill.
Everything you just said, everything I said, here's the most interesting part. Every major Democrat from Obama to Schumer, to Pelosi to Bernie Sanders, all of them on record of saying we need to be charging terrors, reciprocal terrors.
We've been ripped off.
They're all on record, and so the minute that Donald Trump says it, then suddenly.
He's the bad guy. Now here's what I will say.
The Chinese had done a masterful job of showing that you know what that thirty eight thousand dollars perse that you're buying, we can sell it to you for one thousand dollars and make money. So you've been getting ripped off at the retail end. And they've done a masterful job of showing all the factory So I'm not mad at them. They've become amazing artisans, and we've allowed that to happen.
So it's not all their fault.
But what is their fault is And I lived in China and worked there for a year watching this happen. They steal that intellectual property. They don't spend the dime learning and branding and creating these beautiful things. They just piggyback and then undersell it and end up sort of prostituting the market. So that's what Trump is saying. He's saying they're doing predatory things.
We don't care.
If you want to take your factory over somewhere where you can make it cheaper, that's okay. But we got to be able to go to court and defend our patents and do all the other things that we're talking about here. That's the real issue when it comes to dealing with China. But we can all compete on the global scale, and we're going to have to. Business will still be done from the United States in China, but it can't be done the way that it's been done.
And this is what let me just give everybody. I'm gonna give you the secret decoder ring for how you argue with a leftist.
Here's what you tell them when they bring anything up, say shut up. You spent four years with a brain dead moron.
We verified this. Now he's been a brain dead moron. You allowed him to be president, and he got all those guys before him, all got us to the very place that we are right now. And now you want to start crying when somebody wants to start solving the problems, I'm.
Not even going to listen to you. That's the answer you need to give to leftists.
You know, many times the president takes over and to keep it going, I think, and when Bush forty one was elected in nineteen eighty eight, keep it going many times. Look at the difficulties, the intractable problems put on Trump's plate on January the twentieth, about one hundred days ago. Look what he's dealing with from left behind, from Joe Biden, who was never the president. Hunter Biden was in charge. Doctor Joe Biden was in charge. Ron plain was we
didn't have a president. And now you got Joe Tapper writing books, and Jake tappersy and and participated in the conspiracy, not for the cover up, not to tell us the truth. Now he wants to make money off his own behavior and not telling us the truth by telling us that Biden was brain dead. So that the news media that didn't report on his brain dead aspect, that was the right books making money from it.
This is unbelievable, unbelievable.
But as I said, this is the first time. And by the way, let's make one thing clear. In twenty sixteen, we stopped all of the stuff that was happening when Donald Trump first came into office. And here's what's interesting, Bill, if you think about it, Trump was in the first year he did all the things that he did that
were a masterful. I mean, the guy was absolutely genius in what he was doing, getting fought through Obama's croocket, DOJ and all this, and so as much as we all wanted that straight you know, next second term, the best thing that could have happened is, even so it hurt our hearts, was for them to cheat Joe Biden in and Trump to do it. Now he's done more in less than ninety days than he did in four years in his first presidency.
And here's the best part.
Donald Trump uttered out of his own mouth during when he did that congressional the Joint Session of Congress, and he looked at the Democrats and he says, it doesn't matter what I say I can't satisfy them. They're going to be upset no matter what. What he was saying to them is I don't give a crap what you think anymore. He did in his first presidency he thought, if I win them over with success, they're going to
be okay. Success for Democrats is failure because it stops their money, it stops their ability to cheat.
And so now he doesn't care.
And I wrote an article called Trump his secret negotiating skill now is he doesn't give a crap.
That's negotiation skill.
I tell you one other beautiful thing about the so called Green New Eel and the US AID, and that is that Stacy Abrams received. I can't believe these numbers. Two billion dollars in order to provide insulation and refrigerators to poor folks in Georgia. And now she's going to be under the hot white lamps along with Latsia James.
Unbelievable.
And and I'm reading a column Latitia James, the hunter becomes the hunted. That's the New York ag that went after Donald Trump. And New York Post a couple of days ago had a headline said, a tish best served cold,
and that is what goes around comes around. This is a Shakespearean tragedy when this loudmouth Latsia James is going to be stuck in paperwork problems on mortgages and what she committed mortgage fraud, explain a little bit about the facts with Leatitia James, who's about to be the old Saint Louis turnarounds about to happen to her.
Well, here's what the funniest part to me is this is that while she's chasing down this you know, white dude, a billionaire, the white billionaire, she knows she's guilty of every single thing that she's accusing Trump of and more because Trump.
Didn't pretend that his mother was his wife. Laticia James pretended that her.
Daddy with her husband.
Okay, and a host of other things.
But just think about what it takes for you to go after somebody and say nobody's above the law, and you make all these declarations about what you're going to do to this guy, and you know that your pains are stained as bad as his underwear.
You know, that is what cracks me up. And see, that is the definition of leftism.
Leftism can be doing the dirt that you're doing and will.
Go after you and pretend that that dirt is not dirt, you know.
What I mean?
And I think that the beauty of it, and I keep coming back to this is even the laymen.
Are starting to recognize that. I watched Benny.
Johnson an interview and he was at some part Benny the white boy, but he's in a black part of town. He's the Indermann people. What do you think about Donald Trump? And these three black folks are going.
Man, Donald Trump, that's my negro.
I mean, they're just going crazy and talking about man. They trying to get him, and they're talking about get this, They're talking about terrorists. Donald Trump's going after these countries, has been ripping us off all these years.
That is the stuff I love to hear.
And I love to hear it not from the so called intelligentsia, but from the average everyday Joe. You're just out on the street and you say, what do you think about Trump? And they tell you I like him. He's powerful, he's going after terriffs.
He's making these people pay.
He's representing America, I mean, the whole nine. And that is what people should be feeling great about.
When they think about what's going on in the country.
Now, look at the trump Ster last week when he walked into the UFC fight, and I think it was Miami. It was like the Beatles and their prime. It was the rock star bigger than Montana. People are going nuts, and his approval rating right now is above fifty percent with some polls.
The media won't report on that.
Getting back to Laticia James, she accuses the Donald of inflating value and properties in order to get loans, and she on some of the loan applications, says she was a resident of Virginia while she was serving as the Attorney of New York, New York, and it was so blatantly Believe me, Kevin Jackson. Before we're done, it's going to be about race and sex and retribution. Latitia James will not say I did exactly what I prosecuted Donald
Trump for having done. That wasn't a crime what he did, And if what he did wasn't a crime, then what I did in the crime.
But there's a big difference.
What Trump did really wasn't a crime, but what she did mortgage fraud was.
An actual crime.
It was a crime. That's the difference.
Well, let me tell you she's not going to get away with it because we're talking about you know, Barnum and Bailey rolled. I mean, whatever, give me your best showman. Donald Trump is never going to let these people live it down.
And I'll give you an example. J six.
He's stuck with it. He said, I was cheated everybody. They try to get everybody to shut up. It they talked about J six.
He says it was the Democrat insurrection.
They try to get everybody to shut and what are we finally figuring out?
The other thing? Trump does that gives them credibility.
And he says, oh you want the JFK files here they are, Oh you want Crossfire Hurricane. When he released Crossfire Hurricane, I made a comment, I said, guarantee you the media won't cover it.
Why because Donald Trump said it. All the evidence is there. I didn't do anything. They don't want to dig any deeper.
But guess what, people are starting to wake up at the lowest common denominator voter level. People are listening to Donald Trump. He is the most recognizable person in the world bar none. And you look at what happened in this election in Ecuador, where they dumped the leftist, the Donald Trump guy.
The guy got seventy percent of the vote.
Look at what's going on with Javier Malay, look at what's going on in El Salvador and that president coming over and echoing what Donald Trump said. And I mean, look, Billy, this is a revolution that is occurring. And people keep talking about the trade war as if it's getting started. We've been in a trade war, We've been in a civil war. Donald Trump is getting us out of those wars because he's making sense. He's getting rid of DEI,
he's getting rid of the global climate nonsense. Well, we spend money for nothing, and he's essentially bringing normal back. You know, it's funny his press secretary doesn't answer emails with you when you have your pronouns in them.
I'm identically the same way.
If you got your pronouns on something, I dismiss you. I don't answer your emails, I don't take.
Your phone calls.
I won't do business with you because it's stupid.
If you're stupid enough to do something like that. As far as non concerned, you don't deserve my conversation.
If you don't know what gender you are you're out of touch with the reality, in which case I don't want to deal with you. And if in the real world, why should I deal with you at all? Kevin Jackson's think Kevin Jackson Network dot Com. Great stuff up, and you have a column we haven't touched yet, which is the Trump boom sealing the democratics fate before the midterms, and we'll see what happens. But as a pleasure having you on, I'm glad you're out there preaching the faith.
And Kevin Jackson, you're a great American. Thank you very much, you too, God bless you. Let's continue with more. Can you imagine if we were sitting here in a world where Kamala Harris was the president and that Tim Waltz was the vice president, how much worse shape would we be in. It's always compared to what compared to what we could have had. This is wonderful, This is marvelous.
Bill Cunningham, the great American, Live with you every Sunday Night by Billy Cunningham, Always great, always wonderful to hear from a great man who is Kevin Jackson. And one column I called earlier tonight Scott Powell at Townhall dot Com one of my favorite websites. Headline under date of April twentieth, which, by the way, is today tonight, Easter. The resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever. And we don't spend a lot of time talking about religion here,
most of us about politics and lifestyle issues. But when you look about the transformation of the world after Jesus of Natherus was crucified, put to death, then a rose again is an incredible story. In fact, all of human time is now calibrated, beginning with the birth of Jesus. Let's continue with more. Stay tuned for next up a Scott Powell and later on as John Lott more guns less crime.
Bill Cunningham.
I try to be a great American with you and all other great Americans on Easter Sunday night.
Willie Hotels econor Rogen Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized gives radio's best. The recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill Cunningham.
By Billy Cunningham The Great American, of course, is a column written by the great Scott Powell. I read a lot of his stuff at town Hall dot com and elsewhere. And the column headline is this Easter, the Resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever. And there's a couple of classic sentences he put together, Scott Powell. One is that no other religion makes the claim they were founded by a messiah. Makes Jesus the most revolutionary figure in American history.
And all the other religions had those the prophets who had passed away, but Jesus didn't. He did die, he was resurrected, and he's in heaven above and is unique in many reasons, one of which is time, the world history from the moment of his birth. This is twenty twenty five versus another important thing, Scott Pale. Welcome again to the Bill cunning Embers show. So tell me about your column, The Resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever.
Why did that happen?
Well, it happened because since the fall of man, life has been distorted. People have had all kinds of problems, and people need to be saved, you know, we need a savior. I opened the article by, you know, relating to the recurring theme in Western literature and modern classics such as Superman and Disney Originals revolve around the struggle between good and evil and the need and critical role for a rescuer or a savior, and everybody relates to
that theme, right, everybody does. Well, guess what, we ourselves need need a savior because you know, we're flawed and we're you know, we're said to temptation to do the wrong thing. We don't always treat people the way we should. I mean, there's all kinds of areas in our lives where we're just deficient and we can't sing to get it fixed. Try as we will, the reality is that we can't. And all the other religions, all of them
are based on works. You know, in order to get elevated spiritually, you have to perform certain works, certain rituals, and so forth. Christianity is unique because it's orientation is not on ourselves, but it's outward. And it turns out that it isn't works that open this relationship to Jesus Christ.
It is simply.
Acknowledging our sin, acknowledging that we're flawed, and that Christ stood in our place, if you will, and gave up his life. He sacrificed his life to justify us before God God. And as we accept Jesus as our Lord and savior, then we have this open relationship with God.
Let's talk about the historical character, because the skeptic, the atheist, someone who says, well that this was a fanciful tale. There's no evidence that he ever existed, nothing he ever wrote has ever been discovered. There's pictures, maybe the shout of turn. I think it's remarkable, But give the history as to why, objectively the existence of Jesus Christ of Nazareth is real.
Well, you know, skeptics of the biblic account of Jesus simply have to come to terms with the fact that there is more reliable historical evidence for his life, teachings, miracles, death, and resurrection than there is evidence for any other historical figure of ancient times. You know, consider, for instance, that the authenticity of Alexander the Great, who was born some three hundred and fifty years before Christ, is based on only two original biographical accounts of his life by people
named Arian and Plutarch. But they they didn't write this for some four hundred years after Alexander died. And then you could take Virgil and Horace, very famous poets. The manuscripts of Virgil and Horace, both of them lived within a generation of Christ, were written more than four centuries after their deaths. Yet no one doubts Virgil and Horace lived and authored great poetic masterpieces. Similarly, the historical record of Alexander the Great is unquestioned. But the reliability, let's
simplify it. How do we get to the reliability of ancients? How can we be sure about things? Well, there's three variables, and the reliability of ancient histories determined by the number of eyewitness accounts of the events. These are eyewitness accounts, people saw what was happening. And then there's the lapse of time between the eyewitness account and the written record of those accounts. So the shorter of the time, the
better more reliable it is. And then there's the number we're talking about ancient history, two thousand years you know, we were living, you know.
Two thousand years after Christ.
Then there's the number of surviving manuscripts of that written record.
So three things.
Again, eyewitness accounts laps of time between the eyewitness accounts and the written record, and then the number of surviving manuscripts of that written record.
So if we look at the big picture, they're.
About one thousand times more manuscripts preserving the deeds and teachings of Jesus in the New Testament, which are about twenty five thousand. Then there are preserving other classical ancient works, and you can pick other people other than you know, Alexander the Great or Virgil and Horse. There's plenty of others you could do the same thing with. There's twenty five about twenty thousand viving manuscripts that preserve jesus teachings. The next closest is Homer's Iliad and that, but that's
only back by eighteen hundred manuscripts. That that's still less than one tenth the number of ancient manuscripts that back to the authenticity of Jesus's life.
So how many years, how many years went by from the events themselves and those who watched them to the time they were written they were written down?
How many years.
Passed in the case of Jesus, that's the that's the incredible thing. These they were written down within a generation or two of Jesus' life.
Primary four hundred years.
Like Alexander the Gray, everyone says the exist the others.
Remember, history was an oral tradition. Most things were an oral tradition in those days. There weren't that many scribes, but many of the many of the ancient people that we revere, and we don't even question their authenticity. The reality is that their written record is four hundred years old, after the eyewitness account or after the actual you know, the poetic works that I guess were read and they were oral and heard by people, but it wasn't really
written down for four hundred years. And yet we don't doubt that Virgil and Horace lived and wrote these wonderful things. But in the case of Jesus, there were four different accounts known as the Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, and they weren't written hundreds of years later, but within a generation or two of jesus life. Now apostles Matthew and John they provide eyewitness accounts from their years walking with Jesus as his disciples, and that was about a
three year period. Mark also had eyewitness experience, but he was only a teenager during the public ministry of Jesus and Luke fourth he was the famous doctor, and he learned about Jesus from his friend Paul, who was the primary apostle who wrote most of the letters of the
New Testament. So this is unique to Jesus. And yet many people doubt Jesus, doubt the existence, the life, the history, everything about Jesus more than they would doubt, you know, like Alexander the Great or other historic figures.
Well, I's got the dead states.
They would believe all of Roman history before they believe the account of Jesus.
Now, why is that?
Because you have Roman history, there's some of them was written down. But the existence of Jesus had thousands and thousands of references at the time. And in fact, his name was was discovered somewhere on a block of stone in and around Jerusalem. But no one doubts that Julius Caesar existed. No one doubts that. But they doubt Jesus. They doubt his existence. Why is that? Is it a lack of faith? Is it to prove?
Well?
What is it?
There's problem?
There are probably a number of reasons, but there are some people that are so you know, there there's there. They're they're they're somewhat unwilling to submit or surrender to a higher authority. God is the highest authority, right, and Jesus was his son. Jesus and God.
Are really are really are really God.
Because Jesus was one with God, he had all the power of God. We know the miracles he did and so forth. And people have a hard time to, you know, submitting, they want to They think they want to.
Be free to do whatever they want.
Well, the reality is is that God does want us to be happy, fulfill having meaningful lives. But there are certain, you know, boundaries that we need to operate within, and when we do, life goes a lot better. And you know, and the Jews had this right, going all the way back to Abraham and Moses, particularly Moses, who who's really authored the Mosaic law. If you will to tend commandments anyway, which are the main part of the Mosaic law. There
are many more laws on the Ten Commandments. But Jews were having a very hard time living up to all of these.
Life was very you know.
Complicated, and and and people stressed out over not being able to live up to all these these laws and regulations if you will in their lives. And so one of the Pharisees said to Jesus at some point he said, he said, Rabbi, of which uh of the of the Mosaic law? Which of the laws is the greatest? And of course there are so many of them. And you
know what Jesus answered, very simple answer. He said, if you love God with all your heart and soul, and you love your neighbor as yourself, you will have fulfilled all.
Of the laws.
And this is unique to Christianity. The focus of Christianity is outward. It's not inward. It's not you know, doing the mantra and getting one with yourself and so forth.
It is. It is out ward.
It is loving other people, it's serving other people. You know, you could encapsulate it by the Golden Rule. You you want other people to do under you as as you want to do unto others as you would have them do.
On that and Scott Power, before we get to the critical part. For me, I'm a practicing Roman Catholic and I find my religion a source of great strength. How do we know the resurrection took place? How do we know that this wasn't some fable in order to confirm the divinity of the Christ because he was dead, that the spear was thrown into it, pushed into his lung, into his heart, water and blood came out. How do we know he resurrected from the dead. How do we know that?
Well, we know it from from the eyewitness testimonies, and there there were, you know, quite a quite a number of those. As a matter of fact, Well, there's a couple of things that I think are worth noting. First, First, Jesus is the only people, only person all in all of human history who who was There were prophecies about his coming as much as a thousand.
Years before Jesus appeared in the world.
David was prophesying that this Messiah would be crucified, I mean, and that's at a time when crucifixion didn't even Existeen different eighteen different, eighteen different prophets who talk about Jesus. Micah actually predicted that Jesus would be born in Bethlehem. He names Bethlehem, And this is hundreds of years before Jesus right now, how is that possible that that didn't happen with anybody else as far as we talk.
Incot I find your column on townhall dot com. The critical piece of evidence is this, The crucifixion is among the worst ways to die. When I saw the movie The Passion of the christ Rist, it was awful, it was terrible, But the experts say it was much worse than that. And at the end Peter denied the relationship with Jesus three times before the con crowed. Three times he said, I don't know the guy. Now, would you say?
No?
One will die for something contrived or false. Seeing talking to and touching the risen Jesus transformed the apostles, who then committed to the rest of their lives and sharing the messages of salvation through Christ, and who would give their life be crucified upside down, bestoned to death, burned alive, skinned alive, if it was all alive, because if it ended at Calgary, if that was the end of it
at Calvary and it didn't exist anymore. The only way these twelve and Matthias took the place of Judas would have given their lives is if it was a true fact that Jesus was resurrected.
Well, it's very compelling, you know, evidence, There's no doubt about that. There's still could be someone that would be skeptical. But if you go back to what I said about about how we can understand, you know, ancient history through those three variables, the number of eyewitness accounts, the lapse of time between those eyewitness accounts and the written record, and if the shorter it is, the more reliable it is. And then the number of surviving manuscripts of the written record.
And these are.
Because this is ancient two thousand years or more old. You know, there's no you know, nothing really survived, you know, as perfect parchment. I mean you have, you have fragments of works in terms of what has survived, but you know, the written record. The all of those variables put together make Jesus in a class by himself.
And all the disciples and all the apostles would now have given their life and be tortured and preached the word for decades thereafter. Only John lived a fruitful life at the end. But none would have given their life for a lie. And if Jesus was crucified and put in the tomb and never resurrect from the dead, this whole thing never would have got a start. Nobody would have given and unanimously, not eight out of the twelve or six. Every one of them gave their life for
something they saw, which was the resurrected Christ. Otherwise they wouldn't.
Have asked me about the resurrection. So the New Testament provides accounts from multiple sources who witnessed Jesus firsthand.
After the resurrection.
Jesus made ten separate appearances during these forty days to his disciples between the resurrection and his ascension into heaven, which was.
About a period of forty days.
Those appearances were the individual disciples. There were several disciples at the same time, and once Jesus was seen by five hundred people at one time. All of this, all of this is testified in the Gospels as having happened. It's noteworthy that there were no accounts or witnesses who came forth and disputed these appearances or called it a hoax. That would certainly happen in modern times, but it didn't happen.
Back then because they saw me one they saw.
Him, that's right.
Nor is there any record of any witness accounts that were contradictory.
Scott, we got to run up against the clock get the article everywhere Easter, the resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever. Scott Powell once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show.
And Scott, you're a great American. Thank you very much. Thank you, Bill, God bless you.
Let's continue with more. No one is going to give their life for a lie. Not unanimously. All twelve Matthias took the place of Judas. If it was all a lie, they would not have spent the rest of their life spreading the word about Jesus. And secondly they were massacred in horrible ways. The truth will set you free. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night, My Billy cunning him to great American Scott Powell, I think is fabulous. And the article go to townhall dot com. Tonight Scott Powell
talks about Easter and what it means. This is Easter Sunday night. And maybe some might find me a bit religious tonight, but I'm telling you it's the truth, and this is Easter Sunday night. And the evidence that he has in the article is fabulous. It's irrefutable, it's real. And the fact matter is, when he writes on townhall dot com the resurrection of Jesus transformed the world forever.
The evidence is there, and if you're a lawyer and engineer and you need documentary proof of one type or another,
it's available. Read the article and back it up. I put on some websites some of the comments of lawyers and engineers who are extremely doubtful about the reality of the information they were receiving, so that what they wanted to do then was objectively prove the existence of Jesus of Nazareth and secondly prove he was crucified, but most importantly proved that he resurrected from the dead, which was the ultimate evidence that he is the son of God.
And from that there were eleven apostles. Matthias made of twelve took the place of Judas that would spend the rest of their life spreading the word because they saw something so unbelievable and so amazing that they wanted to tell others about the Good Word. And that happened only because of today's activities, which is Easter, the resurrection of the Christ, and the fact that they saw something that was truly unbelievable, unmatched. They didn't understand how it could happen.
In fact, during the crucifixion in before only one apostle was present. The other nine or ten must have thought, you know what, we've been living a life for the past three years. This guy is going to be killed by the Romans and that's the end of that. And the reason they flipped on a dime was the appearance of Jesus to them several times, including one time in front of five hundred people. That's the evidence as to the existence of the divinity.
Of the Christ. Well, let's continue with more.
Coming up next is John Lott, More Guns Less Crime, Bill Cunningham, The Great American with you every so you know by Billy Cunningham, The Great America. Of course, John Lott is called the guru of those who believe in the Second Amendment. Many books out, including More Guns Less Crime is a great treatise on why an armed citizenry is certainly the best thing of law enforcement itself can have.
And also he's got many columns up. One of the great ones he has up is what's going on now with the research that seem to indicate that armed civilians stop active shooters more effectively than uniformed police, who likely are not going to be at the scene. And first of all, John Lott spent years in the Trump Justice Department of the first term, done a lot of research on the topic, knows he's forgotten more than most people know. And John Lott, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show.
And first of all, on the Thursday shooting at Florida State and the person identified as a shooters is a guy named Eichner, and I understand his name's Phoenix Eichner.
His mother was a deputy sheriff.
And one thing I would add that about two hours after the shooting was announced sometime on Thursday, Jake Tapper immediately put on someone from Florida that talked about more gun laws than needed obviously because this thing and all
the laws we haven't affect in Florida didn't work. Really, the bodies had not even gotten the room temperature before the radical left wanted to politicize another shooting for personal benefits, but nonetheless go over some of the issues in the Florida State shooting with Phoenix Eichner Ickner and what it teaches us about gun laws and their effectiveness in Florida.
All right, Well, I mean our guns were already banned in Florida State University campus when the attack occurred. The problem that you face with a lot of these laws is that they disarmed law bodies, not the criminals. So if you have a criminal penalty or going in taking a gun into a gun free zone like that, for you or I, you know, if we spend a couple of years in prison for violating that type of rule,
our lives would be completely changed. But let's say you're the person who's going to murder a couple of people and wound others and violate multiple laws, and you're going to be facing multiple life sentences in any case, do you think a couple of years from your fourth or fifth life is going to make a difference for whether or not that person's going to commit a crime. It's
not going to be relevant to them. So all you've done with some of these laws is make it so that the law abiding, good citizens obey the rules, not the criminals. And the only thing that you've done is ensure for the criminal that they'll be the only person that's going to be armed there, and that makes it a lot easier for them to accomplish their goal in terms of killing people.
And one of these so called activists on Thursday afternoon with Jake Tapper and CNN talked about age restrictions. You know, in the wake of the Parkland Florida, Florida itself enacted responses to that. One of those was an age restriction for long gun sales. And of course this was not the weapons obtained by this murderer. If you had more and more age restrictions on gun sales, would that have made any difference at all in this case?
Well, he obtained it from his mom, who's a deputy sheriff, So you would have had to ban the deputy sheriff from being able to go and get a gun in that case.
But you know, if you look at all.
The math public shootings over the last twenty five years, what you're going to find is that the age ranges that commit the most math public shootings are basically twenty six to thirty and then thirty to forty. You know, So are you going to ban guns all the way up to age forty?
You know?
What I think you need to look at is kind of what motivates these people. We don't know yet in this particular case, but I've read enough diaries. I've read enough manifestos for these mass murders to know that their goal is to get media coverage, and they know the more people they kill, the more media coverage they're going to get. Very frequently were reach statements saying if I can only kill more people than such and such, did, I'm going to be able to get even more media coverage.
You have people who are suicidal. We've had people who are suicidal forever in the human race, but at some point in time people realize that they could get a lot of media coverage. So you have people who feel unappreciated and they know that if they go and kill lots of people, they'll get their names in the history books to quote what a number of them have said, and at least people will.
Know that they were here.
And so the question you have to ask is how do you take way that goal that they have. And the important thing there is to have somebody there quickly at the scene who's going to be able to stop them.
So rather than having signs in front of these schools and other places that says the school is a gun free zone, you know, why not have a sign if you're talking about k through twelve schools that say warnings select teachers and staff here are armed and will use their guns to go and protect you know, students and others. You know, there's a reason why. So we have something like over ten thousand schools in.
The United States that have armed teachers.
We've had school shootings, There's not been one school shooting where anybody's been wounded or killed at a school that allows teachers and staff to be able to coin care. All the attacks have occurred in those places where you have these gun zone signs up.
Well, before we get to this public health survey, would you have an article you wrote on April the ninth, which is fabulous another one as red flag laws. Almost all these mass shooters have serious psychological with psychiatric problems, some treated.
Some not.
And why did it takes so long in the Nashville Christian School incident for the truth to come out about why he selected that particular school. I think the answer is it didn't fit the liberal die tribe about the shooter in the Nashville Christian School. And I'm not sure it's been well publicized why he chose that school. But I know, you know, why did that mass psychiatric killer pick that school to kill as many students as possible.
So we knew why she picked it in fact of the day of the shooting, because the Nashville Police Chief had gotten access to her diary or manifesto, whatever you want to call it, and she had made it clear that she had looked at other targets but had decided because there were people with guns at the other targets, to go after those, and so she had picked the school, the Covenant School, to go after. And you know, these people may be crazy in some sense, but they're not stupid.
You know, they know that they can kill more people if they go to a place where they're victims are defenseless and somebody is not going to be there to be able to go and stop them. They you know, when you go and you look at these attacks, these killers spend long periods of time planning These six months is a short amount of time. You have people like the Sandy Hook killer who spent like two and a
half years planning for his attack in that case. So they look through all these things, they look through the success of other mass murderers. They see that these mass murderers go I mean they explicitly acknowledge that they follow that these mass murderers go to places where victims can't defend themselves. You know, one of the things that just drives me nuts with regard to the media, as the media may cover parts of these manifestos and diaries for these mass murders, and you're implying this.
In your question here, but they refuse.
They absolutely refuse.
To discuss those parts of the manifestos and diaries where these killers explain why they picked the targets that they did. Why isn't that newsworthy? Why isn't that important for people to know that these guys are explicitly going to places where they know they're victims can't defend themselves because the government bans people from having guns in those areas.
In fact, that a Florida State situation, if there were armed students or armed teachers, armed professors, maybe lives would have been saved and likely Phoenix would not have picked Florida State. Because it is rare to have a psychiatric mass murderer pick a facility where he's likely to quickly shot, and red flag laws Florida has one doesn't apply in this case. Age restrictions doesn't apply. Magazine restrictions don't apply, the assault weapons ban doesn't apply, gun free zones doesn't apply.
It does apply, but he picked a gun free zone. In fact, when Jake Tapper on Thursday Afternoon, mandatory storage laws is another one, and these laws generally apply to keeping the gun locked up when there's a miner in the house. They ellect shooter was twenty. I guess you could be a minor. But it makes it much more difficult for an American to access a firearm when they need it during times of stress, making things more dangerous, and so none of it works.
Well, you know the problem is when you discuss when people discuss a lot of these laws, they talk about a possible benefit, but they don't talk about the costs. And you just mentioned one. So you go and mandate that people have to go and lock up their guns, they make them less accessible for people. It makes it easier for criminals to go and commit crimes against those people. In fact, what you find is that when states pass these states ords laws, the rate that criminals break into
people's homes and successfully commit crimes goes up. I'll give me one comparison. We have data on something called hot burglaries across different countries. The United States, about thirteen percent of burglaries occur while the residents are at home. In a country like the UK, it's about sixty percent of the burglaries that occur have their residents at home when
the burglary occurs. American burglars their big time for doing burglaries is kind of in the middle of the day when people are likely to be out in a way. In the UK, they like to do burglaries in the evening precisely to make sure that people are at home.
And the reason why they like to do that is because then they can force the people to go and tell them where their valuables are in the home and the big different and American burglars spent about twice as long casing a home before they break in compared to
their British counterparts. Surveys that have been done indicate the reason why they spend so long casing a home in America as compared to in Britain is that their word about getting shot, and one way to protect yourself from being shot is to make sure that nobody is home to go and do the shooting. In Britain, they actually prefer to have people there at home, as I say, because then they can tell them where their valuables are.
Yeah, what percent of BRIT's are armed at home? I think probably ninety nine percent are not armed. And so if you have an elderly couple or some old person living home alone, you know that person doesn't have a gun. You break in or walk in the door and demand to know where the valuables are. In a way you go in America, I don't care if you're seventeen or twenty eight or eighty eight. You have to factor into the equation whether or not this person is going to
kill you. And that's why gun control laws don't work. The problem's never been guns. Take away the guns. It'll be knives like in you or take away the knives. You're gonna have mass beatings. Take away the beatings. There'll be cars used by the psychiatric homicidal killer. And the gun control doesn't work. But it raises a lot of money. Correct, it's a fundraiser, right.
Well, it slightly differently, I'd say, not only doesn't it work, it makes the situation worse. I'll give you a simple example. If you look around the world, any place that's banned either all guns or all handguns, has seen murder rates go up every single time. You take out of randomness once or twice when you've banned guns, guns are as
bad on net as people claim. You think for sure you'd find at least a couple, but probably lots of places where gun bands have been associated with a drop in murder rates, and yet every single time it's gone up. And the problem is is that when you pass these bands, it's the most law abiding, good citizens who obey that, not the criminals. And to the extent that you disarm law abiding citizens relative criminals, you actually make it relatively
easier for criminals to go and commit crimes. So, you know, the ban is a simple example, but the basic point applies to other things. There's one thing I wanted to mention with regard to your comment about the Florida State University and you know, talking about concealed carried permit holders. We just finished a study where we looked over the last decade for what the FBI calls active shooting cases.
These are attacks, they're current public They're not some other part of some other type of crime like a gang fight over drugged her and it's anything from one person being shot at and missed all the way up to a mass public shooting. And what we found is that civilians were more likely to stop these attacks than police, and also a police when they did were there, were more likely to get killed or wounded when they were trying to stop the attack.
And there's a simple.
Reason for this, and that is people. I have to appreciate what an incredibly difficult job having somebody in uniform has when they're trying to go and stop these attacks. These murders have real tactical advantages. If you have an officer who's in uniform there and you're thinking about doing an attack at that place, you have several options. You can either wait for the officer to leave, okay, or
you can move on to another target yourself. Or if you're going to insist on attacking in that place, who do you think you take out first? You're going to take out the officer because he's the one person you know for sure has a gun. The benefit of concealed carry is the attacker doesn't know who's there or whether somebody is there already. Yeah, a simple comparison I would make because we have air marshals on planes. Do you
think an air marshal on a plane should be in uniform? No, I don't know anybody who thinks that that should be the case. And why not, because if you had him in uniform, he would be a target for a terrorist if you happen to have a terrorist on the plane, and so you wanted to blend in, you want it. You don't want the terrorists to be able to know who it is that they have to worry about. But unfortunately officers don't have that luxury of being, you know, incognito.
They're they're they're in uniform, and it's kind of like them having a neon sign that's above them that says, go and shoot me first. And people have to appreciate, you know, these individuals who are in uniform who put their lives on the line. But it also points out the benefit of concealed carry for civilians. We also have
a lot more civilians. We have twenty one and a half million Americans who have concealed carry permits in the United States, plus we have twenty nine constitutional carry states where it's not required to have a permit, and you know, we have six hundred and seventy thousand police, and not all of them are on duty at any time. Maybe you have two point fifty so, and so there's no way they can go and cover the three hundred and forty million Americans that are out there that could be targets.
John Lott, do you have excellent research for those listening? Crimeresearch dot Org headlined arm civilian stop active shooters more effectively than uniformed police. The research is there, but reason in facts mean nothing to the mind of a liberal who wants to raise money and act as if they're important. And once again, John Lott, you're the best there is in this topic. Thanks for coming on, and once again thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. John Lott,
thank you very much, thank you for being there. Bill, God bless you all. Let's continue the truth and reason will set us free. But the more we have gunfree zones, the more there's going to be more violence in gunfree zones. In fact, you don't know. In this case, Phoenix Eichner, the murderer who I imagine survived, we think he survived the shooting, went to a gunfree zone to kill a
psychiatric homicidal killer was set loose on Florida State. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday Night, Billy Cunningham, the great American. First of all, thank you very much for listening tonight, Special night Easter Sunday Night's always special every year. And I specially love the comments of Scott Powell. You can read it for yourself at townhall dot com, et cetera.
But also John Lott more guns less crime when individuals, whether it's Florida State or somewhere else, there's a fear of the psychotic murderer that I want to go to a place where I can ply my trade and kill as many people as possible in the homicidal mind of these of these lunatics, and by doing so, they want to pick places that are gun free zones, such as
Florida State. Within two hours of these terrible incidents on Thursday, when Phoenix Eichner went and killed two innocent men and also win in five or six others within two hours, you had the circumstances of CNN putting on gun control activists to make sure sure that then Florida there's more red flag laws or age restrictions on gun purchases, none of which applied in this case. Our mandatory storage laws
didn't apply. Our magazine restrictions didn't apply, our assault weapons bands didn't apply, or gun free zones more gun free zones. None of it applied. And then when we start listening to the facts and the law relative to John Latt and many others, then the truth will set us all free once again. I want to thank all Americans for listening to me this Sunday night. I guess the next week's going to be filled with more information about al Salvador and Garcia. I've headed up to here with all
of that. The guy's in O Salvador and he's not coming back.
Get over it. Bill cunning in the Great American with you every Sunday night.
