Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast exodens, the one and only Bill Cunningham. No I Billy Cunningham, the Great America. Now you plan for one show, they have to do another. And I want to compliment
Dan Gleason, my executive producer, for assisting to put this together. We'd plan to go in one direction on tonight, which was the Trump Trials, because Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday,
Thursday. For the next eight Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursdays, maybe Friday and Saturday, the leading candidate for the presidency is going to be locked in a dirty, filthy New York City courtroom defending allegations which are a bunch of bs politically caused because Donald Trump is leading in the polls and the Democrats from New York to Atlanta, from Washington, DC can't have that to happen, so everything in their power is going to be directed toward getting rid of
Donald Trump by any means necessary. The Trump stert must go by any means necessary. And it starts on Monday, which is a big story and will continue to be a big story because we act like a banana republic. See all the misdemeanors of payments on those So, by the way, the payments for NDAs or whatever, catch and kill are not illegal at all. Happens all the time, millions and millions of times a year, stories are paid.
Payoffs are made legally above board. I give you this, you give me that, A way you go, as long as not for a criminal acts perfectly legal, and all the prosecutors has said were legal. To pay off Stormy to annels, it's okay. Motive might have been to keep his wife from learning about the Donald possibly having sex with a porn star in the year twenty oh seven. It might have been to keep the grandchildren happy.
Whatever the motive, But in order to make it a felony, the idiotic criminal prosecutor in New York City had to come up with a theory that the money was paid as to hide sexual behavior. By the way, how successful was that in order to assist his campaign for the presidency in October of twenty sixteen, and it was not reported on federal election forms. Of course, Democrats being Democrats, went first to the Federal Election Commission and said, hey,
Feds, these payments were not put on his forms. They looked at it for months and said, well, that's not a crime. Then the US Attorney's office in the Southern District of New York, supposedly and aggressive, the best one in the country, looked at it for months and said, well, that's not a crime. And then cy Vance, the predecessor to the clown who's in there now Brigg, looked at it for munts and said, you know this or these are Democrats, Well that's not a crime.
So Alvin Bragg is elected under a promise of getting Trump. He spends quite a bit of time in Washington with political leadership with the Democrat Party. Comes back about a year ago in diets Donald Trump, after the Federal Election Commissions that I wasn't a crime. At the US Attorney's office, that I wasn't a crime, after the Southern District of New York said I wasn't a crime.
After cy Vance, the predecessor to Alvin Bragg said that's not a crime because all the statute, the limitations had run on all the so called misdemeanors, they're gone. The only way he had the extatued extended was by calling it a felony by not putting a business record on a federal form. That's
what this case is about. Will they get Trump was so far the road runner has avoided Wiley Coyote, And whether we're gonna avoid it again, I don't know, because it's a BS case and it takes one juror to say no, hang the jury, and then likely it's over with. But who knows. The Democrats will not stop on Trump. In fact, tonight this is rather gymnastic, even for Joe Biden. Joe Biden is passing the buck blaming Donald Trump for the attack on Israel by Iran. It is Donald Trump's
fault. What happened yesterday. I can't make this up. Donald Trump is responsible. He did it. He launched the missiles. I would assume, by the way, he's the only president we've had an American history with Jewish grandchildren. He was the guy with the Abraham Accords spreading peace throughout the Middle East, that was Donald Trump. But Donald Trump did it courage the Eyetola
to send missiles to kill as many Jews as possible. Secondly, there's reports out of the Jerusalem Post, and if true, put a big underline the word. If it is true, this president needs to be impeached immediately. This story says. The following came out a few hours ago. Headline is Joe Biden green lights Iran's attack on Israel. I look at the headline and I'm saying say that again. Joe Biden told Iran to attack Israel. It made some sense because whatever Joe Biden said, Trump has done, Joe Biden
is presently doing. The story is out of the Jerusalem Post. Iran informed Turkey this is about ten hours ago in advance of its planned operation against Israel, and a Turkish diplomat source told writers on Sunday afternoon, adding that the US conveyed to Iran. Now list the United States conveyed to Iran giving them a green light within certain limits. So go get them within certain limits. There's no way to sugarcoat this. If the Biden administration told the Iranians it
would be acceptable to attack Israel within certain limits. I don't know what this is a betrayal that is hard for me to fathom. If an offensive attack which didn't largely succeed, but which might have succeeded, was getting ready to launch against the United States, and one of our allies, say England, told our enemy, go ahead send missiles in the United States within certain limits,
it would be an international scandal of incredible proportions. Yet that is this story for Israel's own I hope it's not true, but is this believable? That Joe Biden green lighted the missile attack on Israel according to this story, and it's gotten a little play in the mainstream media, which makes me think it's true. If the opposite the shoe was on the other foot and Trump green lighted an attack on Israel, what would ABC and George Stephanopplas do with
that one? But this is uh, it's out there and I don't know what to say shocking. So let's get into what has happened, what is occurring, and what might occur in the future. Before nineteen seventy nine, before the Eye tole A Komeni and a bloody revolution took over Iran, there were Jews all over the Middle East. I had a guest on I don't know, a couple Sunday nights ago. There were four hundred thousand Jews living in Iran, three hundred thousand Jews living in Jordan. There were six hundred
thousand Jews living in Israel. I'm sorry living in Egypt. After all, they built the pyramids. Anyway, all over the Middle East there were Jews everywhere. So the eye Tola Komane found out objectionable, especially in and around Saudi Arabia, so he orchestrated an Islamic revolution in Iran when Shaw was out of the country getting cancer treatments. You might recall some of the videos from nineteen seventy nine. One of the first things they did was take American hostages
the embassy, destroy the embassy for four hundred and forty four days. That ended when Ronald Reagan came to power. They said, oh no, we got a cowboy in charge. Now we better get there, we better get back the hostages. And great majority of them lived so until that event, for hundreds, I would say thousands of years. The Jews are all over the Middle East as the way things were. In fact today, as I speak, one third of Israel are Muslims who have mosques all over Israel.
They're safe, you live in security, no problem. One third of the Kanessean in Jerusalem, the capitol now because of Trump are Muslims. Muslims, law abiding Muslims are welcomed in Israel. Is the opposite true, absolutely not. You cannot be a Jew living anywhere in the Middle East. So the goal of this extreme part of Islam is to kill Jews and kill Americans. You know, death to America, death to Israel. What does that mean? Kill Americans and kill Jews. And business for this part of Islam is
very good. In fact, they've infiltrated almost every major college campus, every major city. Police departments are scared to death. Protesters in Chicago yesterday erupted in cheers after Iran launched his attack on Israel. They have Hamas chapters, hundreds of them all over our country, infiltrating the minds of our youth, teaching them lies about the Jews and about Israel. So business is good when
it comes to killing Jews and killing Americans. That's what's been happening. You can call it Hamas Hesblah el Kaida, Boca haram isis isis k pick a name. They're a part of the same tree. Kill Jews and kill Americans, and business for them has been very good. So the goals of Iran are at least threefold. Number one to evict the US from the Middle East completely and number two to replace Israel with Palestine. Number three to bring down
the US led World Order. Number one, evict the US from the Middle East. And at this point, let's go back in time a little bit. When the iotol It took over Iran in nineteen seventy nine, literally hundreds of thousands were killed inside Iran and torture horribly. And so the US found himself in Lebanon in the early nineteen eighties. Reagan was in the White House.
Iran backed a bunch of rag tag militant murderers living in Shia dominated areas of southern Bey Route, who at that point was the Paris of the Middle East. Be Route was beautiful, and they found that the hesbla party of God. So God ordered the killing of Jews and God ordered the killing of Americans. They wanted to carry out that completely. In fact, on college campuses. Death to Israel killed Jews, Death to America kill Americans using a
new technique called suicide bombing. The Hesbelah Party of God. God wanted this to happen bombed the US Embassy in Beirut, killing two hundred and forty one American service personnel. At that point, hes Blah achieved their first which was get the US United States out of Lebanon. What did Ronald Reagan do? He got the hell out of leban and a wealthy young Saudi fundamentalist name osamavan Laden was watching closely. He concluded that if he applied enough military pressure on
the Americans, they would pull out of the Middle East. Right because it worked in Lebanon. It was a risk that by killing two hundred and forty one American soldiers along with sixty three US embassy personnel and about eight CI officers to total of about three hundred people killed and one fell swoop. They watched and waited to see our response. Ronald Reagan did what Hesblah wanted him to
do, pull out a bay route, pull out of Lebanon. Watching was Osama bin Laden, So he said, Okay, I need to get America out of the Middle East. So what I'm going to do is organize a plot against buildings inside New York and the Pentagon, and we're going to bomb them. And what we're going to do then is forced the US to get into the Middle East where we're going to bleed them dry using the Lebanon model.
So effectively, the Iranians was handed a huge gift when in twenty oh three George Bush forty three was a fool to overthrow Iranian mortal enemy, which was Iraq dictator Sada Mussin. You might recall that Sada Mussin attacked Iran, killing one million Iranians using chemical weapons, et cetera, and a war that went on for ten years. You may have forgotten that. And so Sad Mussin had a stalemate with Iran, and they were mortal enemies. One remainly
she is one remaining Sheites. They hated each other. So Osama bin Lauden said, I got to get America involved to go after Iraq to take down our enemy, take down the enemy of Iran, which was Iraq. So following the fall of Sada Mussein, which happened somewhat quickly beginning March nineteen twenty oh three, when that happened and America quickly destroyed the elite Republican National Guard
and there wereands hundreds of thousands of American soldiers sitting ducks in Iraq. What happened well, Iran began funding terrorists inside Iraq in order to kill Americans. So over the next many years, thousands of Americans were wounded. American soldiers civil War commenced, killing at least five hundred thousand Iraqis, which made Iran very happy. Iran used George Bush and Dick Cheney as fools to take down
their enemy the enemy and my enemy is my friend four hundred thousand. In fact, the US Army historians have said that the only winner in the Iraqi War was Iran. They won and it bled us dry between Iran, Iraq, Afghanistan and the losses we had there. We lost about seven thousand American soldiers and about fifty thousand were mortally wounded, and a cost the country literally
trillions and trillions of dollars. So the plan is make it so painful for America, get Hamas chapters all over this country, and make sure that America is sucked into the Middle East. And once you're sucked in, sufficiently supporting Israel make it so painful for us that America leaves, and the same thing happened in Syria. Civil war begins. Isis is formed ISIS and Syria and now and a stalemate beside. Elashad is still in charge of Syria, but
it's not a country whatsoever. And one of the deals starting this week is the president of Iraq is coming to the White House to encourage that we take out the twenty five hundred sitting ducks that we have right now in Syria. Otherwise they're going to be killed long term. You see what's coming. We live in a participatory, loud democracy right now. Iran's proxyes in the Middle East, to one degree or another exert great influence in Gaza, Iraq,
Lebanon, Syria, Egypt, and Yemen. And these proxies are attacking Western interests in Americans all the time. How about that one Iran is the great chess master that killing Americans. You know, death to America business is good, death to Israel, kill the Jews business is really good. Are we doomed by this? Because we borrow about a trillion dollars every one hundred days to fund all this. The goal is to get the US out of the
Middle East completely tomorrow. The Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammashia Saddani is going to meet with Biden. Comes at a time when the leader of a rock manipulated and governed by Iran. Once twenty five hundred US troops, some of whom are sitting ducks and killed like there's three soldiers about a month ago, to get to get out of Iraq immediately. This is where we are. Take short
break. I want to get your response. This time is available eight six six six four seven seven three three seven twenty four minutes after the hour, Bill Cunning and the Grand American with you every Sunday night. From Iran's perspective, killing Americans killing Jews business is good, doing a lot of it since nineteen seventy nine. It's been what forty four years, not much recompense.
The one president that tried to stop it was the only president we ever had with Jewish grandkids, Donald Trump, and so he's been so smeared by the Democrats, by prosecutors and by the media. Who knows if he can win. I pray to God he's only in best chance to get that done. But who knows. A week ago. You may recall that President Biden, playing to the chase, playing to the death America crowd, said that we need regime change. That's what Biden said about a week ten days ago.
We need regime change in Israel. Benjamin Nettie, who needs to go? That made dearborn Michigan quite happy. Then he also said that there needs to be an immediate cease fire to keep forty thousand rapists and blood thirsty Hamas fighters alive and well in southern Gaza. That's what Biden wanted. He was chasing votes in Michigan. But now last night Biden said, I stand with Israel. In fact, we assisted them along with the Brits and Jordan and knocking
down drones and and other armaments set up to kill Jews. And now we're led to believe that they didn't really intend much for that to happen. It was intended to be a failure. Really unbelievable. Joe Biden, death to American crowd. I need your vote last night not so much. What's American foreign policy? Can you explain it? Bill Cunningham, the great American with you every Suden, how about an ancillary matter or will we get back to
topic, Gay, I watched the Masters like many have done. Scottie Scheffler was unbelievable. No one has played the game a lot better other than Jack Nicholas and Tiger Woods. And he made reference a couple of times. In response to questions to his Christian faith. He said, I was saved by Christ's behavior on the Cross. This golf stuff isn't too import compared to my eternal soul. And of course the media quickly got away from that one.
But leave me to think of one thing he said during the tournament. His wife's doing about ten days. And Scotty Scheffler said that if on the eighteenth hole, I get a text, I get a buzz that she's in labor, I'm leaving golf immediately, get me a cart. I'm getting on my plane and I'm going home to Texas. Now that's important. I thought, how refreshing is a practicing Christian professing his faith and putting golf in his proper
perspective. And I thought, you know, if Tiger Woods had led the moral life of Jack Nicholas, Barbara Nicholas six kids, I think twenty five grandchildren or Scotty Scheffler who's twenty seven. He's never going to approach the record of Tiger Woods or Jack Nicholas because he's twenty seven. By the time Tiger was twenty seven, he won eight May including a Grand Slam, so that
wasn't gonna happen. There's only been five golfers in PGA history that have won the career Grand Slam, and the last one, Jack Nicholas, did it in nineteen sixty six. So after Jack Nicholas did it in nineteen sixty six leading a good moral life, there's been one golfer in the ensuing sixty years that have won a career Grand Slam, and that's Tiger Woods. But if Tiger Woods led the clean, wholesome life of Jack Nicholas or Scotti Scheffler,
he would have won twenty five majors and one hundred tournaments. But that wasn't the way it was. Tiger Woods is the greatest golfer of all time, and Jack Nicholas is the greatest major champion of all time. Jack won eighteen majors in Finny's second nineteen times. That's thirty seven first or second. No one's even close to that. When he won his first major, in nineteen sixty two at the US Open for sixty two in nineteen eighty six. Twenty
four years, he played in ninety six consecutive major tournaments. Of those, ninety six he finished first or second thirty seven times. Nobody's even close. But when it comes to Tiger Woods, he won three consecutive Junior Amateurs at the age of thirteen fourteen fifteen, then won three consecutive US Amateurs at the age of sixteen, seventeen, and eighteen. Is the all time record for
cuts made in a row. All time record not just of money which changes the course, but percentage of tournaments won compared to those that are played and a lower stroke average than Jack Nicholas. So the greatest golfer of all time is Tiger Woods. He would have been a whole lot greater if he had the kind of life that Jack Nicholas led or Scotti Scheffler. But the greatest major champion of all time, which MADEY considered the ultimate gauge, was Jack
Nicholas, without question, only met him once. Great man, great guy, and I wish him good health. Back to the issues now. Lastly, before I go to the telephone calls, we have calls from all over the nation. Tonight, I want you to the media relentlessly it attacks Donald Trump. In fact, tonight Joe Biden is blaming Donald Trump for the Iranian assault on Israel. That shows how sick that Joe Biden administration is. And I don't know what's going to happen in the next five or six months till
November the fifth. More twist and turns in the jar of jar of worms. I have no idea whether he's convicted or not convicted. In criminal court tomorrow he's going to take I've been in lengthy trials, as you may know, and it takes something out of you. Remember a couple of murder cases I had that took about six week trials, client on trial for his life. I thought one was innocent, I thought one was guilty. I gave the same effort on both. You get up two or three hours ahead of
time to prepare the day's witnesses with your client questions back and forth. Didn't have emails at the time, but we communicated over the phone. Walked into court about nine o'clock and completely consumed in the trial to four or five o'clock in the afternoon, then back to my office meeting with my client. This
went right, this went wrong. This is what's coming up. What do you think that last It's eight and nine, ten o'clock at night, a few hours of sleep, get back up at five thirty in the morning for the next day of trial, and go like that for several weeks and see if you're seventy eight years old, about fifty pounds overweight, running for the
presidency at the same time running large businesses. The toll that's going to take on Donald Trump's health is unknown to anyone except those who've been in those circumstances. It will be heartbreaking, it'll be emotional, he'll be drained. They want to put him through a gauntlet so he can't be the next president,
which we need badly. That's just one of the trials. It's going to take two to three weeks to pick a jury, and then the evidence starts with with Stormy Daniels having sex with the Donald supposedly in twenty oh six. Some bombshells I'm sure will take place of one type or another. Hope Hicks,
the attractive presidential assistant, supposedly is a bombshell witness. You're gonna have Michael Cohen, a convicted liar that's going to testify, And the issue is whether he misstated on forms in New York State a business expense, which is paying off Stormy Daniels to hide another crime, whi's not putting the amount of money on a federal election form as a contribution to his campaign. Every prosecutor is that looked at it said it's not a crime, including Federal Election Commission
attorney said that's not a crime. Department of Justice said it's not a crime. Southern District of New York said, is not a crime? Say vance, The predecessor of the clown, Alvin Bragg, said it's not a crime. The misdemeanor statutes have all run out. There's no statute statute. The only way to making a felony has come up with something gymnastic that said the
purpose was a campaign benefit that was not put on his federal forms. And you're gonna have twelve jurors from Manhattan, ninety percent of whom voted for Hillary Clinton, wanting to convict the Donald was something be goes. The polling indicates that twenty percent of the time, twenty percent of those voters say they're not going to vote for a convicted felony. Every commercial of Democrats will either be about we're proud of ourselves because we're the party that wants to kill as many
innocent, unborn, healthy babies as possible. That's number one, and number two is why vote for a convicted felon? Goes a New York court found him guilty of felonies, and the judge, Danny Gleeson, my producer, said, is he going to jail? Well, normally in New York if you if you pee on the sidewalk, if you use drugs in public, if you beat up cops, if you rape or kill, you're released on bond and no big deal. But if you're Donald Trump, paperwork, that's
a big deal. Could he go to jail? Absolutely? Can you imagine the leader of the Republican Party, the top nominee for the presidency, a former president, sitting in New York City in the courtroom New York Prisons up north. So I can't imagine it. Maybe at Ryker Island. I don't know what impact that's going to have. I have known what if it's a hung jury, what if you find him not guilty? Now what it's chaos. So I have no idea. Tonight's show was supposed to be about that.
But the attack on Israel takes presidents. So before I go to the calls, I'm going to ask you some questions. In the past three years during the presidency of Joe Biden, who has his serious dementia problem, and by the way, John Fetterman's starting to make some sense, that shows you the low level of intelligence of democratic leaders. But in the past three years, when we have the foreign policy, he's going to bring peace to the
world, get rid of the chaos. Had too much chaos with Donald Trump, and so Joe Biden, who's mentally corrupt and financially corrupt, it's going to bring peace to the world. Number One. In the past three years, Taliban returned to power in Afghanistan. Donald Trump's in office Afghanistan, the Taliban is at arm's length. There's about twenty five hundred marines and air Force personnel a bogram Air Force base. And the last year of the Trump presidency
there were no attacks on Americans at all. The girls were going to school, the women got rid of the Hajib, the women could have jobs, they could work. Guess what in the last three years. Joe Biden returns the Taliban the power in Afghanistan, killing tens of thousands of American sympathizers and those who worked with US. Brutal bloodlust all over Afghanistan caused by who Joe Biden. Secondly, don't Russia invades the Ukraine? Did that happen under Trump's
watch or under Biden's watch? You might recall Biden said to Putin, don't how many Ukrainians are killed? Numbers north of one hundred thousand, maybe more. The country is on the verge of collapse. People live in whore without the ability to use electricity, sewer systems, Dead heroes all over the Ukraine. Now, did that happen during the Trump administration or during Biden? And wasn't encouraged because of the nature of the pullout from Afghanistan. All the experts
said, yeah, it kind of gave a green light to Putin. And when Biden said, don't you know that meant nothing. How about Hamas invading Israel? Hamas completely controlled by Iran. Iran was on its back. Iran
had no financial capability, did not have the money to pay HESBLA. Hamas and the Hoodies have the ability because of the oil boycott and the fact that Trump seized their assets and the fact that the price of oil was so low it was bankrupting Iran and Russia. So did Hamas wait until Trump left office, backed by Iran to invade Israel. Absolutely and what happened well, at least thirteen hundred Israelies were killed in brutal ways and the worst terrorist attack in
Israel since the Holocaust. Rapes and robberies, kidnappings galore, and the world has plunged into chaos because of the feckless policies of Joe Biden. Was Trump responsible for that too? How about China increases its pressure on Taiwan During the Trump administration, the President visited Beijing, he visited North Korea, He walked into North Korea. There was peace breaking at all over the place, hell in the Middle East, the Abraham Accords at Saudi Arabia, cutter and others
joining with Israel. Now China increases tremendously as pressure on Iran and the Chinese Russian partnership has been solidified. Right unbelievable because of the policies of Joe Biden. The Hooti terrorists, including a couple of days ago, Rick havic on red sea shipping, causing the price of oil tonight approaching one hundred dollars a barrel. Because the hoodies who pays them? Where do their moneys come from?
These hooties, these camel driven individuals, hordes of camels. They get everything they have from Iran, which now has flushed with one hundred billion dollars of money goes to the policies of Joe Biden. Do you see any chaos anywhere? Iran has moved closer to getting a nuclear weapon? The next time one of those missiles that hits or doesn't hit Israel will be nuclear tip.
That is unbelievable, but is the world in which we live. Of all the missiles that were launched, ninety nine percent were captured maybe and at this point they're ready to launch more and more missiles, as are the hooties. Allegedly, one hundred and eighteen missiles were taken down, one hundred and eighty five drones and thirty six cruise missiles for about three hundred. Next time there could be three thousand, of which if one percent gets through, that's thirty.
So that's where we are with Joe Biden in office. In addition of what's happening, of course in North Korea. Trump walked into North Korea and there were plans to have the leader Kim come to Washington, DC. At some point peace was breaking all over the place. And of course illegal immigration flooding the US southern border with soldiers from China and from Iran and other Islamic terrorists are in this country. Who caused all that? Did that happen under
Donald I don't think so. That's Joe Biden later at his footsteps, and tonight Joe Biden is blaming, of course Donald Trump for the Iranian attack on Israel. This is unbelievable, and the medium makes none of these connections. And why anyone goes on these Sunday morning talk shows, especially with someone like George Stephanopolis, is beyond me. Had Governor sonnuw on today, he could not get a word in edgewise as George Stefanopolis ignored all the things I've just
discussed and simply went after Sonunu with hooks and claws. Why would any normal Republican appear on that kind of crap is completely beyond me. The Governor endorsed Donald Trump because of the alternative. George Stefanopolis has no clue of what he talks and maybe Republicans I normal people should avoid these Sunday morning talk shows, especially Meet the Press or George Stefanopolis, because they make no sense. You can't get your message out anyway. Oh, let's continue, just a few
of my words, a few of my ideas. And at this point, Iran has been killing Americans and Jews for the last twenty four years, and business has been very good, beginning in the barrackses in Beirut going through tomorrow
night. And now we're being told this was a success. Joe Biden is telling bib Ntsannyahu that one Heran, for the first time ever, sends over three hundred missiles, cruise missiles and drones all the hell over Israel because we could shoot down and I think the cost of each one of the items to shoot down these drones was a million dollars and the drones themselves cost about ten
thousand. They're bleeding us dry well. When I was with many of my Jewish friends in May, in Jerusalem and in Tel Aviv, it was remarkable. There was a sense of or over the hump we got the Abraham Accords, that there's back channels all over the Middle East, largely to Sunni nations, and that are three elements of our economy, the three legs of the Israeli stool. Strong. Number one is tourism had trouble getting reservations and restaurants.
The Catholic churches were full, the Old City was filled with customers. The economy was in good shape. Tourism was in good shape. The farming industry. When I spent time in the Gaza Heights looking down on the farming community, that was strong, and of course high tech. And right now the last six months, the drain on the Israeli budget has been profound.
In America, its only friend has someone like Joe Biden in office, who demanded regime change to enhance his standing in Michigan a week before the attack, and he also said stand down, cease fire, let him have the hostages. Forget about the twelve hundred Israeli Jews slaughtered and vicious ways, forget about the rapes and the murders taking place in the tunnels, and forget about the fact that Amasa using innocent Palestinian civilians as human shields, who, by the
way, voted for that crew. Forget about all that, but then the missile attack happened. Now flipflop the other way. It's one hundred percent. I support Israel. Now when Israel responds in some way, it's gonna be well. I told him, get rid of Bebe. I don't know what the American foreign policy is, nor does Joe Biden. Let's continue. I'll
take your calls next. We have thousands on hold and millions and millions are listening, and if line becomes available eight sixty six six four seven, seven three three seven later on will set up tonight's show, including a live call
with Leland Viddett of News Nation. Leland was on the last night. I watched for about three or four hours as the attack was underway, and I know News Nation has now arrived because Saturday Night Live is making fun of them, and that's a sign they must be doing something right under the leadership of
Sean Compton, Leland, Veddert and Chris Cuomo and many others. Fifty two minutes after the hour, Bill Cunning in the Great American with you every Sunday night, all right, Danny Boyle let's take some calls numbers eight sixty six, six four seven seven three three seven, War of attrition, bleeding Israel to death, economically militarily bleeding America to death. Remember the call of the Hamas Wing of the Democrat Party. Death to America, Death to the Jews,
death to Israel, Kill Americans, kill Jews. That's being set all over the United States of America by the Democratic Humas Wing. Bill Cunningham, your calls are next with you every Sunday night, Willie Brock. You by Choice Hotels aconor Rogen Roadway in hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one but two prestigious Marconi Awards for
his broadcast exsodence, the one and only Bill Cunninghead. Now let's continue in about one hour, Leyland Vinder will be her News Nation is on there last night for like four hours. Also coming up soon as Scott Powell giving us some hope, and also later on as a representative of the Cato Institute Cato Foundation, Adam Michelle talk about taxes after our tax Day is tomorrow. We plan more of a show about Donald Trump's trials with some lawyers for tomorrow,
but we'll put that to the side. That's going to drone on I hate to use the word drone. This is a drone attack on Donald Trump, much like the drone attack on Israel, funded by Joe Biden. But we'll deal with that next Sunday night and more. You might recall there's been some weird fascination with Obama and with Biden and love for Iran. You might recall in middle of the night that Pallett's filled with cash of every currency was dumped
in Tehran directly from Barack Hussein Obama. And since Iran's policy was changed by Biden, well over one hundred billion dollars has been made by Iran because of Joe Biden using that money. What did they do with one hundred billion dollars?
Did they improve a lot of their own people? Absolutely not. Biden gave him the money which allowed them to coordinate attacks on October the seventh, killing, raping, burning alive men, women and children in southern Israel, and continues to parrot the Iranian nonsense about the need for a ceasefire and he saw tooth that Iran could sell oil and receive money from that oil he allocated for them that was used to launch the attack last night. And of course
Biden was too chicken to go on live television last night. He was supposed to be, but didn't. Probably he was too sleepy, but he didn't want the Muslims in Minnesota and Michigan, two critical states to hear about his support temporarily for Israel. Well, make no mistake about it, the attack on Israel by Iran was funded by Joe Biden. Everyone knows it. I just said it. Media won't talk about it. It's awful. And you might remember that only Fox News and Newsmax and News Nation reported on the fact
that under Donald Trump, Iran was broke. Would have been a no position to launch any attack. There were large crowds in the streets depending that they be fed, that utilities be turned on, and they coordinated the attack. People are pretending to be journalists like George Stephanopolis looked shocked by the AMAS attack on October the seventh, promised to be worse the next time. That was completely designed and strategized and executed by Iran with money given to it by Joe
Biden. Don't understand, don't got it, don't under I don't know how we got ourselves in this position. You might recall we not me, but the country elected Biden and the chaos remember Orangeman bad? Orangeman too much chaos? How do you like me? Now? Let's go to the calls as I promised coming up later as Scott pass Leland Vitter out of Michelle and many others. And let's go to Sue in North Carolina. Sue and North Carolina. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Sue. How are you? Oh?
I feel great soon as I hear your show. God bless you and God bless them. Fantastic everything you were talking about. By the way, have you ever considered having on your show? Bridget Gabrielle? Yeah, you know, I'm gonna. I got her number. She is wonderful. What she wrote the book, they hate us, she lays it out. She's not too popular in cable news issue, she's stuffed it out. She's wonderful. She's from Lebanon, and she knows all about this inside it out and
backwards. I mean, she's phenomenal. Here's her number. I'm looking at it right now. I'm made a note. I'm calling her. I'm gonna call her during the break see if she can come on tonight or tomorrow night. Am sorry John hannany the of the day. And it was just it was just incredible. What's your what's wrong? What's wrong with Joe Biden? What? What? What? Why is he is? He worried about the Iranian vote in Michigan and Minnesota and Illinois. That what he's worried about.
Why? Why? One week he says, regime change, get rid of net and Yahoo, cease fire, don't fight the Hamas Nazis anymore. Then the next week he says, I'm one hundred percent with Israel. I'm with you one hundred percent. What is the policy? Yeah, well, don't forget about Obama and uh where he's where he was coming from? Remember the palates of cash, Remember the money delivered to Iran. They have some sick fascination with helping Iran, which had been killing Americans and Jews for the last
quarter of a century, and they promised to kill more. And guess what business is good? Yeah, we we fund the terrorism, We fund it. How hell to me, sue, I don't get it. I don't understand it, and I don't know. And if Biden wins the presidency again, he's competent to go maybe six months or a year. Then we got Kamala Harris as the president. Think about that. God help us well, God needs to help us out. This reminds me of the First Crusade.
You know, Islam and Christianity have been going at it since the First Crusades, and that's all this reminds me of. And it's gonna end. And right now I hear about, I hear about in fantaside, I hear about genocide that the Jews are doing this right now here it is twelve minutes after eleven Eastern time. If Israel had the desire, they could obliterate and kill every Iranian in Iran. They could take out the whole country, They could
take out the Hesbalah. But they don't do it. What if Iran had the military power of the Israelis and the Israelis had the military power of Iran,
Egypt would be nuked and gone within the next forty five minutes. But at a time that we work hard to make sure that the Iranians have hundreds of billions of dollars to launch and fund crusades involving the Hesbalah Hamas, the hoodies, isis, isis k Boca, Haram, Taliban, by whatever name they're called, that they're fatalist and driven by death that want to kill Jews and kill Americans wherever they can be found. Look how the Afghans are being
If you're a female in Afghanistan right now, how are you treated? If you're a female in Tehran, Iran? How you treat it? And that wasn't the way things were until the I told it. There were hundreds of thousands of Jews living in Egypt and they were living in Iran, they were living in Iraq. But as soon as this philosophy twenty five years took over, Jews were killed. How many Americans have been killed by Islamic extremists so far? Are The number is tens of thousands, and they want to kill
millions of us. We have Hamas chapters inside American cities saying death to the Jews, Death to America. They want to kill Americans and kill Jews. And that's where we are. Let's continue. We have Floyd and then then Robert and Austin and Floyd and Iowa the home of the home of a great governor. You're on the Bill Cunningham show, Floyd. Go ahead, Yeah, Bill. There was a pat by Cannon. He was the president of
candidate ninety two ninety six, so he was a conservative. He was a guestrin of McLoughlin group quite a bit, and that mcgloughlin passed away there, but I think mcannon's still around. Yeah. He warned that go ahead, you go ahead, Please, you go ahead. This b Cannon. I heard him warned that we're going to the United States is going to get sucked into a backdoor war with their reign by fooling around Israel. I don't know exactly what he meant by that because he doesn't come on TV much anymore.
Has kind of lost me. He kind of lost it. That's what it is. Yeah, and right now, right look at it this way, Floyd. At some point Iran wanted us out of Lebanon so bea root. In the early nineteen eighties, they send suicide bombers killed about three hundred Americans, including two hundred and forty two soldiers within three to six months. We get out of Lebanon. Beyroot used to be the Paris of the Middle East.
It's now a destroyed city. And of course Iran hated Iraq and Iraq hated Iran, so Iran wanted us to fight Iraq to destroy Iraq, so Iran would take over Iraq. What happened, well, nine to eleven. Knowing what we would do now, George Bush, who was a terrible president, Bush forty three, terrible president, launches a war, all at war against Iraq, take down Sodom Hussein, the mortal enemy of Iran. And
once that war ended, who took over Iraq? Iran at the cost to US at trillions of dollars and thousands of lives in the Taliban in Afghanis. We win there and what happens, Yeah, well we get a new feckless president. Joe Biden pulls out American soldiers and the last year not one was killed in Taliban and Taliban now takes over complete control of Afghanistan. All I Rock does can you see him? Can you see him being so weak?
We're going to get sucked into a war with Iran, and he's going to try to use this as if I could see this right, every president wants to either get a war or razor taxes when they're having a Republicans running go the way you know right now, Republicans. I can't believe George Bush forty three. We had the A team, We had Bush and Cheney at Condealeza Rice, Uh we Hare Colon Pale and Rumsfeld. I did my show from the Pentagon a couple of times in the in the garden in the Middle.
It's unbelievable that, Uh, George Bush thought there were weapons of mass destruction. It was a lie. And we went to war with Iran's mortal enemy and destroyed and within a year or two ISIS takes over Iraq. We're invited back in. We send in twenty five hundred sitting pigeons in Iraq are getting killed on a regular basis, including this three brave of African American soldiers about two months ago. And at some point we're gonna leave her. But all
we did was take down the mortal enemy of Iran. Iran and Iraq fight each other for ten years, killing each other, one million dead, one million dead. Think about that, one million dead. And they had to develop a strategy to have America go to war with Iraq, and George Bush forty three was stupid enough to do it. Thousands of American marines and soldiers killed roadside bombing, We Scadado out of Iraq, and then the Iran comes
in sympathizers. Iran right now is controlling countries all around Israel. They control Hesbelah, they control Hamas, they control isis they control the hooties funded by
Joe Biden. Joe Biden is behind the cost of all these missile attacks and all these roadside bombs, the rapists, the robberies, the murders, all in southern Israel, those thirteen hundred settlers, and I talked with many of them when I was there, and may lovely people, and all of a sudden America and Joe Biden is funding and giving money to Iran so it can kill Jews and Americans. It's unbelievable. Let's continue. Let's go to Robert
and Austin. Robert and Austin, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Robert, how are you. Yeah, good evening, Bill, Thanks for taking my call. A great show. You know, I've been watching the real clear politics polls of Biden versus Trump, and Trump is winning nationally, he's winning in all the battleground states, the majority of the country things that the majority of the people leave the countries on the wrong track. Yeah, they
have. The people are concerned about inflation, you know, the foreign wars, the open borders, all caused by Biden. But then I see this John Kirby today blaming you know, the Iran attack on Trump. My question to you, my question to you, Bill, My question to you is can can can the Biden team lies in the media, propagating these lies be enough to deceive enough low IQ voters to not elect Trump. Trump should win the landslide, Yes, answered, How could he not win? Because well,
the Democrats in the media have plans for Donald Trump. And by the media, by the way, are parts of the Democratic Party. They're the mouth, the megaphones and mouthpiece. But at some point I worry the road runner is going to be caught by Wiley coyote at some point in a darkened room. These errors coming in every wech side. He's getting unfair treatment in New York City court room on ridiculous. He's under a thirty six count indictment
that carries a minimum of twenty years in a New York state prison. And you have a judge who made financial Marshawn personally financially contributed money to Joe Biden his daughter. I have the story about his daughter in the New York Post. When Trump went after marshon the judge's daughter, I thought, well, what the hell is how old is this girl? Twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old? Here's the headline that. Let me get it for you.
Here it is, according to the New York Post, this daughter of the judge has raised ninety three million dollars for democratic causes, including the election of a Kamala Harris. The daughter's judge name is Lauren Marshawan, president of Authentic Campaigns in Chicago based progressive political consulting firm whose top clients are Adam Shift and Kamala Harris. So the judge's daughter, who I thought was maybe fourteen years
old with braces, is a political progressive fundraiser. So that judge himself, Marshawn contributed financially to Joe Biden, and his daughter is raised close to one hundred million dollars for the Democratic Party. She's thirty seven years old. And so I'm thinking, is he going to get a fair shake in that courtroom? No? Way, and then he's going to be tried by Manhattan Jerry,
who has voted for Joe Biden ninety percent of the time. Hillary Clinton got ninety two percent of the vote, So that Democrats want to convict Donald Trump by any means necessary. It's a campaign ploy. So you talk about low IQ of voters, How could anyone look at the chaos in the world and on the southern border and in the murders, the rapes, the robbers. How can I even look at all this and say, man, we need we got to continue with this, We need that guy continuing in office.
Are you kidding me? The answer is yes, yeah. And another thing is that ilimajor voters also think Biden's too old and mentally enfeeble to be president. So no, how could he be re elected? I'll tell you, Robert, the Department of Justice has determined, through its special counsel that Joe Biden is so mentally corrupt and mentally deficient he cannot sit in a criminal trial. He can't he doesn't understand the nature or the charges against him.
He can't counsel with his lawyer for his own defense. But he's competent enough to be the president. Of the United States. Can you make that connection for me? Well, the answer is no. I mean yeah, if he's not competent enough to stand twild, then he should be removed from office by the twenty fifth Amendment. Shouldn't he take When we get off the air, here, Robert, take a look at the tenth Amendment and the twenty fifth Amendment. But nobody wants Kamala Harris to be the president. My god,
are we in trouble. Let's continue Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night. You know, my last caller from Austin, Texas, which is a city destroyed by democratic politics, with pools of urine and piles of crap everywhere. Many most American cities, Saint Louis, Portland, La, Chicago, New York, unlivable. People are getting out, taxes too high, police have been castrated. Crime is rampant, street crime not reported. I love
the ridiculous stories in the national media about crime is down. I share with you a story on the AP wire which is half about right fifty percent of the time, that at least twenty maybe thirty percent of American cities do not report crime anymore because it's so bad, so garbage in, garbage out. You don't report the crime, then the headlines run crime's down. Well, crime's down. The crime isn't down. Reporting a crime is down. You
know what's happening if you live in these cities. If you live in Austin, you know what's going on. If you live in Louisville, you know what's going on. Or Cincinnati. Don't want to go downtown because it's bad. Storefronts are vacant, public school stink, You're in crap needles everywhere. Police have been castrated, and taxes are going up. The rule of law
doesn't apply. Squatters are taking over. It's unbelievable. So how could anyone look at the status of this country and say, Joe Biden has been successful as our president. He's mentally deficient. His own Department of Justice Special counsel Robert Hurr has determined, after lengthy investigation, he's mentally incompetent. He can't sit in the courtroom to answer the charges against him, which Donald Trump's going to do tomorrow. And so I'm thinking, what the hell's going on.
It's unbelievable. Orangeman bad, orangeman is bad at a minimum. Elected president, he would stop this. The Democrats in the media would not let him to proceed very much. But he'll stop the crap happening now in this administration. But the media which works for the Obama administration. I call him Obama because all the people from that administration are still in charge. Biden funded what happened in Iran through the money given attacking Jews. And I don't know where
to go with this a little segue. Scott Powe is going to join us about what's right in this country. Then at about thirty five minutes, Leland Vidder will be here of News Nation, Bill cunning and the Great American with you every Scott Powell, Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Scott you you have so many columns up, but I want to focus on one in the beginning. Are you ready? I am, yes, Bill, Stage four, which is you ever call him up about what's happening in America
today. You've been more optimistic about this than I have been, which I love. But you did a column about how leftist socialists and communists overwhelm a system, overwhelm a country with stage four. Many Americans think we're in stage four cancer right now. But describe your interview with this communist and how America is well on its road to a bad outcome. Well, you're speaking of Uri Besmanov. Euri Bestmanov was a high level Soviet Communist Party operator. He
was I think the head of Novasty Press. Anyway, he had a sort of a recognition that he was working for an utterly corrupt system, and he
defected from the Soviet Union. I think he defected to Canada and he ended up coming into the United States in the nineteen eighties, and he felt it was his duty to explain exactly how the Communists subvert target countries, and that would include the United States, include all countries that when the Soviet decides to, you know, to get the Communist Party established, their Communist Party operators established in Mozambique or Angola or you know or or you know, Vietnam or
Alaos. They use a formula and it's a formula that starts off. The first stage of the formula is to is to is to demoralize the target population. Typically, when they demoralize people, they they they work to undermine their their their religion, undermine the family, under undermined the heritage of the country.
Uh. Then the next stage and that can take that can take a generation or more to accomplish it. Gym typically takes a generation at least because you've got to get the kids and you've got to you've got to you know, work it through until they become you know, the adults, the decision makers. The next stage is disorientation or destabilization, and disorientation it's in some ways it's an extension of the demoralization, but it's usually more targeted, more
specific. And to give you an example of how this worked in America, we know we've been demoralized for really several generations. The schools and the culture of America have really departed from what made this country great. And that's happened since at least the nineteen sixties, so we've had several generations of demoralization.
The disorientation that we all can identify happened with the COVID pandemic. When the COVID pandemic was rolled out, it was based on fear, it drove it transformed American culture in a way that had never been done before, where American people gave up their freedom, they succumbed to you know, mandates, and social distancing and and ultimately, of course that environment was used to change voting laws in all of the swing states, most of the swing states, so
that mail in ballots, ballot harvesting deposit boxes were spread out. Uh. And and that that led to you know, massive voting irregularity, vote frauds specifically, and that of course ended up getting you know, uh, ending Donald Trump's administration and bringing in the the you know, the Chinese controlled Joe
Biden, who continue who has continued this breaking down America. I mean, you can't point to anything that the Biden administration has done that has helped the American people, whether it's the southern border, whether it's the you know, willful revision and destruction of US history and monuments, whether it's the stoking of social division from ever expanding ethnic groups, classes, genders also manifest in lgbt Q. And the most recent assault on the family, of course, is
the whole transgender movement. This did not happen without orchestration. And I has to understand that our country is under attack on morality, family values. Uh. And then we could just keep going that the constant attack on the constitutional basis of the American government the systematic attack on police and law enforcement, and the promotion of a two tier justice system. Everybody can see this. It has not happened by accident. Is all part of a master plan to take
America down, and we are now in that crisis. The final stage really is the normalization, but the prior stage is the crisis stage. And since we have an illegitimate government now in America, we're really no different than a Banana republic, and so we we uh we we are a fundamentally, you know, our country is in crisis. So what I you know, so
the Bezmentov plan has been carried out in America quite well. Now the last stage is normalization, and normalization means that all of these things that have all these new things that have happened to America become normalized. That you know, America is no longer the America that we knew in our childhood is gone, and it's been replaced by what I've just described a new system where vote fraud
is we accept the fact that we don't have legitimate elections. I mean, this is this is unbelievable that this has happened to this country, but it has, and the American people can push back. I don't believe that this is going to be normalized. I think I have faith in the American people. That is the source of my optimism, and also in the power of God, because people are turning to God more than ever before, which is natural. When people are confused, when nothing makes sense, you tend to
turn to something you can trust. And even though people may not read the Bible regularly, they understand that it is the book of truth and that Jesus Christ and Christianity are the bedrock of America. And we find that a lot of people are turning, you know, turning to God in ways we haven't seen really in decades. And so I have these two sources of optimism. I believe in the American people, the common sense of the American people.
They can see what's going on. They're rejecting it. And I believe that, you know, God's hand is now at work in a bigger way. You have a great rediscovering America. But the stages are every time I talk to individuals that know what's going on, and a good chunk of the American population is stuck on TikTok. They have no idea what's going on. Thank
God, they don't vote, Thank God they don't vote. But demoralization, religion, faith, family, our heritage, the schools, disorientation, which is DEI, CRT ballad, harvesting, mail in dropboxes, crisis, we're in a riots and a sense that what in the hell's going on in the
southern border with fentanyl. Then lastly is normalization. Maybe you have more hope and faith than I have about normalization because I say that if November fifth, if we don't stop this with Donald Trump back in office, and we continue on this path, would you have the same feelings Scott Powell have come November, we put the regime of Biden and Harris still in charge, and then she happens to be elected president after that for four to eight years after that,
if this continues another eight to ten years, would you give up all hope at that point? Bill? We never give up all hope. Why because you know we have a life beyond the world in which we live, and if this is sort of the last days, well we still have that hope that will be with the Lord in our eternal life. So I never give up hope. But I do believe that God really was at the foundation of the formation of America. He brought Christians to America that were seeking freedom.
We established thirteen colonies out of that team. You know, we had a great awakening bringing the colonies together. They decided to rebel, to establish freedom from Great Britain. And you know the story of George Washington. Never it was an impossible task that George Washington of his you know, his his limited resources, underfunded, undertrained, under equipped, you know, fewer soldiers than the British had. The navy of America was seven converted merchant ships.
The British navy along our coast was two hundred and seventy ships, two hundred and seventy warships. How were we going to the Brits? But we did because God's hand enabled that to happen. So our challenges are are every bit is great. In some ways they are different today than they were at the founding of the country, but it's the same dynamics. Impossible things can happen with God's help. Impossible obstacles can be overcome, And so I am an
optimist. Yes, on Monday, a trial is going to start in a dirty New York City courtroom in which the leader of the opposition Party, which has now been indicted I think eighty five times after six counts were dismissed. The payment to a porn star named Stormy Daniels in twenty oh seven, there was allegedly a get together and the money one hundred and thirty five thousand was paid, and that is now metastasized into Donald Trump not able to campaign for
the next eight weeks. And the fact that this judge Merchant, who by the way, gave the judge trying Donald Trump beginning on Monday, gave financial benefits, gave checks to Joe Biden's election efforts, and his daughter, who's a mature thirty seven year old, has raised tens of millions of dollars for Kamala Harris. She's a Democratic activist. And that's the group in charge of
Donald Trump's freedom. Can you imagine six to eight weeks from now, he's convicted of I don't know thirty five counts which make it a felony, and he is like sentenced to a New York State prison. That is a that's the final solution by the Democrats to make sure that the leader of the opposition party can hold power or because he's going to be locked up in prison. Uh, if that happens, what do you where does that fit into your normal What does that fit into your hope? I need hope, Bill.
I think he'll be elected from prison. If that happens, I think he'll be elected. So this will be an unprecedented, Uh, something unprecedented. The big issue that we have. We know he's going to sweep the election in November, but can can we really stop a vote fraud or or or are the operatives gonna you know, uh, you know, open the floodgates of a vote fraud through the ellege, you know, getting illegals to vote. I don't think they have the numbers even with cheating. I think that
I think that that America is is now really awake. I think many people are leaving the Democrat Party. We know that the Blacks, the Hispanics, even even elected politicians are leaving the party. You know, it's incredible what's going on. You really can't explain it other than that there is something beyond an otherworldly power that is propelling some changes that I think are going to move
things in a direction that saves America. The two issues that are the bullets to the brain are number one the illegal migration across the southern border encouraged by Jill Biden, and number two is borrowing every one hundred days a new trillion dollars. Unless those two issues are resolved. Despite great hope, we cannot have one hundred million more single unattached mails running around America, one hundred million plus borrowing this kind of money. It must be stopped, and so you
have to be stopped. You kind of didn't answer the question, which I understand why because you have great hope. But if we go through the next ten to fifteen years of the same policies and we have hundred and fifty million more and we have fentanyl debts that are half million a year, we have a dollar that is worthless and it's no longer the reserve currency around the world because it is not worth anything, will you still have that hope, Scott
Pound, no bill bill, It would be over. So what I did say was my hope that if if we can't turn things around and we continue in the same trajectory, I mean, we don't have many years left before a financial collapse. That was my latest column is that we are really it's beyond belief that debt that the federal debt, the government debt has grown eightfold since you know, since Obama took office. At the end of the Bush administration, we had eight trillion dollars in debt. We now have well,
I should say it grew fourfold. We now have thirty thirty four and a half trillion. That's an unbelievable growth in debt in a short period of time. And the trajectory is that it keeps growing. So we we're going to have a day of reckoning, and I think it's going to happen. I
think it's gonna everything's gonna going to hinge on this November election. So if we can have success in removing the corrupt political power in America and installing and getting uh you know, Trump and his people elected, I think they're going to be dramatic changes made and the people will support it. I mean, we have the benefit of all these hearings we've been having. We know that we have a corrupt system. It's utterly corrupt. There's no future for our
kids or our grandchildren. We've got it, We've we've got to We've got to transform America in a in the way that restores the freedom, the limited government and all of all, all of those things that were part of our heritage that made us a great country. If we can restore that, we can again, as Trump says, we will make America great again. And I believe that it's possible to do. Even from a state prison. The American people would say, we can't take this anymore. We're demoralized, we're
disorientated. There's crises everywhere, but this cannot be normalized. That this cannot be the way we live our lives in which millions and millions of illegals are send ballots in the mail because they receive a driver's license. We can't have that anymore. And somehow it must be too too big to rig. It's got to be the ten is so great? Hey Bill, Yeah, Bill, you just came up with a great one. Can you you want to make that a bumper sticker? Too big to rig? Well, I mean
that it's got to be not just ten thousand votes. Has got to be so big it can't be rigged. And that's the hole. It's going to be very big. It's going to be. Look the deep intelligence people like Martin Arms Armstrong, who has amazing a track record of success in knowing what people are thinking and knowing the political as they say that Joe Biden has an eight percent approval rating. Eight that's the real number for Joe Biden. I
think eight percent. I don't think. I think that's too high. I don't know anybody can approve of this well, Scott Powell, we got to go. Your stuff's at townhall dot com. Scott Powell Rediscovering America, demoralized, disoriented, crisis but not normal. Don't be normal. And Scott Powell, you're the best there is at this stuff. And thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Scott Powell, you're very kind, Bill,
You're very kind. You just keep up the good work there. You're you're the one who carrying the weight here and you're getting the word out there. And I appreciate it. Too big to rig, too big to rig. I love it. God bless you, Thank you, Scott Powell. Thank you. All right, let's continue with more Bill Cunningham The Great American Live with you every Sunday night. Now, Billy coming into Great America. And America is out of stage four. But I have hopes down the road.
The Scott pal said, he sees little sprouts of green coming up through the spring cold ground. We'll see what happens. Coming up next is Leland vinderd of News Nation with a live report. He was on air syrup dipped quickly last night for about three to four hours on News Nation to discuss what's going on. He's got great experience in the Middle East, having been a correspondent
for Fox News there for years. Now. He's with News Nation as an anchor and I thought some of his comments were particularly appropriate about what's going right, what's going wrong, and what lies ahead? And can Israel continue to afford they have nowhere to go. They can't jump in and see and they're not going to have six million more Jews pride in some nuclear holocaust and they're done with that. They will fight. Let's continue with more Cunningham. Leland
vetters next. Bill Cunningham with you every summer Willie brought you by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards. For his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill cunning By Billy Cunningham, the great American. Of course, what happened yesterday, what happened on
Saturday and the attack by Iran is historically unprecedented. I know the media likes to talk about the fact. Well, some of the reporting earlier today came out of Turkey that truly unbelievable stuff that somehow Joe Biden green lighted the attack by Iran in certain ways. If that's true, that's an impeachable offense.
But go back in time a little bit. Saturday Night Live did a bit on News Nation and Curb your Enthusiasm entered News Nation, entered the zeitguys with them, and of course the main person on air during the right after the attack and during the attack was Leland Vitter, who can be watched Monday through Friday at seven o'clock on News Nation. It's a great take and News Nation is strong at the moment, going well, and Saturday Night Live's making fun
of it, which is a good thing. And Leland Verter, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Leland kind of described for those who in many Americans believe or not don't pay attention to news, especially on the weekend, and so can you kind of give us an idea of the Iranian attack on Israel? What was it, what was the intent, how many missiles were fired, and what happened To those who have not been paying attention, you can look at this is one of two ways. Both are bad,
both are unprecedented. Either this was Iran probing Israel with hundreds of suicide drones timed up with cruise missiles and ballistic missiles so they all hit Israeli airspace at the same time. Or this was their main attack of trying to avenge the death of an Iranian Revolutionary Guard general. Either way, this was an act of war by Iran directly on Israel. There's no other way to look at
that. And the Israeli air defenses, along with US air defenses in Jordan and Saudi Arabia, the bricks helped the Jordanians helped to shoot down effectively all of the inbound Iranian munitions, and the Biden administration is basically saying, hey, look, no harm, no foul. Israel got this great victory because their busiest shields worked, and therefore we should just everybody. Should you know, in the words of President Biden, don't don't do anything. No,
they pay attention to that. Well, obviously the Iranians didn't pay attention. I don't think the Israelis are going to either. And that's sort of the point, right, which is that the Israelis feel abandoned and they now feel as though they must restore deterrence in some way to the region because Iran, in the face of American weakness, continues to push the envelope until they are taught a lesson. This is the issue that popped up this morning, which
is surely unbelievable stuff. And that is according to this report out of the Jerusalem Post picked up by Reuters, it appears that was delayed shaw we say, for several days in order to let di plombacy to try to work, which co it did not work. And this report added that Jerusalem Post this morning says this Iran informed Turkey in advance of its planned operation against Israel.
A Turkish diplomat source told Reuters, adding that the US conveyed to Iran via Ankara, the capitol of Turkey, that its operation must be quote within certain limits. And I don't want to sugarcoat this, but it looks like Joe Biden the administration told the Iranians it was acceptable to attack Israel within certain limits if limits are adhered to. I know News Nation this week's going to try
to track this down. But if the President of United States or the Secretary of State or Burns, head of the CIA green light at the attack by Iran onto Israel, because they wanted to be a measured response, wouldn't that be horrific for us? If we green lighted an attack on Israel. Sure, and if elephants fly then or squirrels have guns, then birds should be worried. Reports from the Jerusalem Post out of Reuters quoting one unnamed Turkish diplomat
or about as thin as turnip soup. I used to work in the Middle East, spent four years there. And the number of times you saw things printed quoting one unnamed Arab diplomat who was smoking some hookah with some random journalists and they got out on the on the wires, that was bupkus I I
can't even count. So I think it would be wise. It is difficult, and it's feckless, as American foreign policy has been to the idea that somehow this was green lighted and the US and I'll go ahead and attack Israel. I think it's pretty far fetched. In fact him, I liked them before. Sure it didn't happen. I like the four letter word, don't. Biden told Poden, don't don't Ukraine. Well, that's that and that and that what happened? Now they run, he said, don't. What
happened they do? That's but but that's that. Well now, now, now that's a real issue. And the problem is that once the President of the United States says something and somebody does it and there's not real consequences for doing it, then then the world has lost its policemen. Right. We
all know what's happened in America cities is the police have withdrawn. And for all the talk by those on the left, and especially in President Biden's foreign policy, I think you know blob blob if you will, you know you think about sex State, sech Deaf, Jake Sullivan, the National Security Council, the Foreign policy blob. They have this liberal idea capital the liberal idea
of a rules based international order. Well, the only way you have rules is if somebody enforces those rules and for the past thirty five forty years, since the Persian Gulf War, since the fall of the Soviet Union, it was the United States that enforced the rules. Even really with Reagan through the eighties, the US had forced the rules. There's nobody enforcing the rules anymore. So therefore the people who don't play by the rules, lyra putin Xijing,
king the Ayatola, are going to start doing what they want. About a week or ten days ago, Joe Biden said to Benjamin Netsan Yahu resigned there needed to be regime change in Israel, that Israel was too harsh with Hamas terrorists using human shields in front of them. He also said to bb Netan Yahoo a few days before the attack on Iran, it's time for a ceasefire. Stop what you're doing. Let hamaste in charge of Southern Gaza.
Maybe forty thousand a couple battalions of AMAS fighters are surviving, he said. He said, quit what you're doing, net and Yahou resign. He now says we're with you. He now has flip flopped one hundred and degrees the other way, saying we got your back. In fact, he organized I guess France and England and Jordan and Egypt and Saudi Arabia to help shoot down ninety nine percent of the missiles and the drones. Uh. And I don't
know what is the foreign policy today here we are. There's been no massive respect. What is it? That's a very good it's a very good question. The world doesn't know. And when the world doesn't know where America stands, it's a dangerous thing. The President put out what they call readout from the White House of his phone call with Prime Minister net Yahoo, and it seemed to indicate pressure by President Biden on the Israelis not to do anything.
Don't don't do anything, which is an interesting foreign policy. As you point out, I think there's something to be said about Prime Minister net Yahoo. Prime Minister net Yahoo, while certainly a very interesting and successful political figure, he doesn't enjoy universal support in Israel. Far from it. And I think you know the idea that you're you're thinking about a negotiated end to what's happening with Hamas and discussion of that. Benjamin Nennyahu over the past few months could
have ordered the invasion of Rafa. He didn't. He held out because he knew that if he ended the war with Gaza and Hamas, If he won and rolled Israeli tanks to Rafa and actually pushed Hamas out as he said he wanted to do well, then there would be new elections in Israel. He would lose and likely go to jail on corruption charges. So both men, both Benjamin Netnyahu and President Biden, are working as much in their own political best interests, you might say, as they are the best interests of their
country. Leland Villain News Nation. You buy the idea that the drones were put out for first, which may take hours to get to Israel, and then later on the missiles came and other armaments came, and that that was a way of Iran capitulating or wanting a certain response which would knock them all
down, which would be played well at home in Tehran. There's lots of video about the Iranian streets are filled with Iranian citizens praising the Eye Toola now for attacking the great enemy Israel. But then it was done in a way that would guarantee yeah, right now Israel can say we won. In fact, Biden put out a statement a few hours ago that said you won somehow, you win by being attacked by missiles and drones from your mortal enemy who
wants to kill every Jew in the world. And somehow that's a victory. Can anyone in Israel mark responding, how you win by that? Responding? Yeah, every one of these men, Okay. And as much as we want to think that there are leaders who are acting in the best interests of their country, right, which is what at least what the President of the United States has sworn to do. All three of these men are acting the best interest in their own political best interest. The third man, I added,
with the Iahtola, who has a domestic political audience as well. He doesn't want to provoke the Israelis to the point of an all out Israeli attack, which by the way, could include nuclear weapons that the Israelis have. They would send Iran back to the end of the Persian Empire. And I don't mean in a good way. So regime survival is the most important thing to the Ayatola if they don't want some massive response, but they had to
do something to placate their domestic audience. So none of these three men are acting out of a position of strength. You'll bid acting out of a position of fear because he sees what's happening with the poll numbers domestically with his internal political problems in the Democratic Party, and also how a wider Middle East war that almost seems inevitable he would be presiding over and that dooms his re election
chances. Benjamin Nenya who knows that if he acts thru strength and ends himas his days are numbered as Prime minister, and he's going to face corruption charges which he should have a long time ago. And the Iatola realizes that if he either allows a revolution at home, he's going to be deposed, which he doesn't want, or if he attacks the Great Satan or the Little Satan, which is Israel, attacks the little Satan and shows that shows that he
forces Israel and America back down. He looks strong at home. So that's the state of play. It has very little to do with what's the best interests either the people of those countries or the best interests of a prosperous, in free and safe world. That was an excellent analysis, and I'm thinking, here we sit, we have no idea, there's nobody in charge.
You can't rely upon any statements made by Joe Biden he flip flops. Some of the experts today are saying that he Ron's attack was planned to minimize casualties. I guess, I guess the Ietola was hoping that all these nations would shoot down over three hundred vicious articles of war. He was hoping that let's
be let let's be let's be let's be fairbelt Israel. If Iran wanted a war with Israel, right, they would have unleashed Hasblah and it's one hundred and fifteen thousand missiles which could easily overwhelm all of Israel's air defense systems okay, and would have shut down Benguarian Airport for days, if not weeks, would have destroyed the fuel depots, and Hypha would have destroyed a number of
Israel's electrical infrastructure grids. Okay. You know there are things the Iranians could have done that was far far more powerful, if you will, or are a far greater escalation if they had wanted to the fact that they've held has Blah back for so long. Sure, Iran does not want a war with Israel because they will lose. What Iran want is to continue to embarrass the United States, embarrass Israel and cement its place is to use its rightful place
running the Middle East. And the more that they are able to do these kinds of things attack Israel on and on the October seventh, attacks without consequences, the stronger they look at, the weaker America looks. Lastly, it looks now that is an excellent point. And I thought to myself last night I used the number one hundred and ten thousand missiles and rockets have launched them all. If ten percent would have gotten through, large parts of Israel would
have been obliterated, in which case the response would have been unbelievable. And so it looks like now the Iranian deal is to bleed Israel dry. I spent time there in May and their big three industries where tourism, high tech and farming, the countries on its back economically. Right now you still have in the South twenty or forty thousand Hamas killers who have promised to do worse strikes than on October the seventh. You have a feckless, foolish American president
that doesn't know what he wants. There's no policeman in the world left, and now whatever Israel does to protect itself. The world will respond against Israel this time. If it's not proportionate, maybe they should take out the nuclear capabilities of Iran, or take out their abilities to market oil, or take out the defense ministry and Tehran. Whatever they do, the world's going to
start attacking Israel, and then Iron will be incentivized to do more. It'll be a tit for tat for the rest of this decade, and in the meantime, Israel will be bled dry and they'll win a war of attrition. Could that be the plan? It could certainly be the plan. I'll put a slightly finer point on that, which is the other people who are being bled dry is the United States. Yes, and you say blood dry. But by rough estimates, we spent about a billion dollars worth of interceptors last
night helping the Israeli shoot these things down. The Iron Dome that shot down so many of the drones that got all the way to Israel. Much of that's paid for by the American taxpayer. Those interceptor rockets have to be replaced, and they can only be replaced so quickly. The Iranians are spending fifty thousand dollars per drone We're spending a couple of million dollars per interceptor that math. At some point that math doesn't work. And by the way, the
supply chains to get more interceptors. Even if the math does work, isn't there to have enough interceptors to be able to take down what Iran can throw. So look, we started this talking about deterrence. There is no deterrence. You can't the law proportionality and foreign policy only works with rational actors. The Iranians aren't really that rational in the Western sense, the rational in the Eastern sense of the word. And therefore the language that when I are talking
doesn't work with them. The only language they understand is force. That's why Israel killed the IRGC general in Damascus a couple of weeks ago, trying to put some sense of deterrence in fear into the Iranians. And now we wait to see what Israel does. Yep. Well, lastly, about thirty seconds remaining, Leland Viddert Joe Biden last week was chasing the debt to America crowd in dearborn Michigan by saying bb and now you resigned and stop the war.
Now he's flipped the other way now he's got Israel's back. The next time Israel does something, he'll go back to the death to American crowd supporting them in Dearborn. This thing will go on, and we continue to borrow a trillion dollars every one hundred days in America, Leland Vider, I'll be watching this week and News News Nation run a course by Sean Compton, and once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Thank you,
Leland. Have a great week though, good discussion. Thank you. Let's continue. There you got it, There you have it, and away we go, Bill cunning and the Great American with you every by Billy Cutting into Great America. Of course, I think Scott Poll is wonderful when he analyzes
things. I thought Leland Vidder of course was excellent too when he talked about at the end of our interview about the goal of the Eyetolas is to bleed America to death economically, that right now we borrow an additional one trillion dollars
of brand new money every one hundred days. And the goal, if you watch the State of Union address by Joe Biden, what was to have us spend a lot more money for more government programs, and secondly to bleed Israel drive if you can't beat them militarily, which they cannot, is to destroy
tank their economy and separate them in the world. And whatever Israel does, whether it's tonight or tomorrow Tuesday, to try to bring about sanity to the Middle East by militarily responding to a nation that is funded its enemies all around Israel and now sought to send over three hundred missiles, cruise missiles and drones
to kill as many Jews as possible. Fortunately many were taken down. Whatever response is given, the President Joe Biden, who said about a week ago, you know what, need to regime change in Israel and Hamas We've got to declarescees fire, now says I'm one out of present with Israel until they respond appropriately, in which case I'm against Israel. I'm for Israel now I'm
against them. That's official American foreign policy by the president who wants to curry favor with the death of the America crowd in dearborn, Michigan, Goill Cunningham with you every Sunday night. Of course, the tax plans are out and tax Days coming up on Monday, and When I look at polling as to what the American people believe about who pays taxes, it is completely different than reality. Of course, reality and politics often doesn't matter. What matters is
perception. And I saw a Gallup poll six years ago and I caught some of it, and the Gallup polls said American people said the top one percent pay six percent of the taxes, the top ten percent of way journers pay twenty six percent of the taxes, and the rest are born by middle class Americans. Now, nothing could be further from the truth. It is simply not the facts because facts are available, in fact, they're available every year,
but the message often does not get out. Joining you and I now from the Cato Institute, a great organization is Adam Michelle and Adam Michelle, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. First of all, can you tell the American people the mission of the Cato Institute to put it in perspective? Hell? Yeah, well, thanks for having me on here. At the Cato Institute, we're a nonpartisan researchce organization and forming policy makers towards libertarian policies of
smaller government, more free markets, lower taxes. In the case of my work, We work with Congress and inform the public sort of about the reality exactly what you were talking about. So what actually is going on rather than what the perception is. Let's break it down. We got to talk about the tax plan. Joe Biden, who's an absent socialist, wants to say that we need to raise taxes on companies corporations as if they don't pass on
those expenses to consumers. But just in a rough sense, every year, break down the tax brackets as far as who pays taxes, the top one percent, the top ten, fifty percent. Tell the American people the truth. Yeah, so the top one percent of income earners pay about forty six percent of all income taxes. If you expand that down to the top ten percent, the top ten percent of income earners pay about seventy six percent of
all income taxes. The you and the United States actually had one of the most progressive tax systems in the developed world, despite what the President or a lot of other folks would have you believed. We kind of went over that quickly. I want that to sync in and what concrete then, I wanted to harden the top one percent, which is about is that about three hundred and seventy five thousand dollars in income four hundred thousand. Is that about that
number? Yeah, I think it might be a bit higher than that now, but that's in the ballpark. So if you make four hundred thousand dollars or more, the top one percent pay forty six percent of the income tax. The top ten percent, which would be something the range of one hundred and seventy five k a year, pay seventy six percent of the state income tax. And as far as the top fifty percent of the bottom fifty percent,
I think that number breaks down to about eighty thousand dollars. For those who make above eighty thousand dollars and you're in the top fifty percent, what percent of the income tax are paid by those workers? The top fifty percent pay almost all of the taxes. It's something like ninety ninety eight percent of the taxes are paid by the top fifty percent of income taxes are paid by the top fifty percent. You have a column up about paying your fair share.
One of the great bumper stickers is the rich have got to pay their fair share. When you hear that Adam Michelle or the Cato Institute do the rich already pay their fair share? How much more can you pay? It certainly seems that way to me. A President Biden often trots out the statistic that the billionaires of the richest people in the United States pay an average tax
rate of eight percent. But if you actually go to the data released by his Treasury Department every year, you'll see that the highest earning point zero one percent of income earners in the United States actually pay an all in estimated average tax rate of well above thirty percent. And that's sort of all inclusive a
payroll income and the rest of it. And if you go down the income distribution, that tax average tax rate declined until you actually get negative average tax rates for the lowest income Americans, again showing how incredibly progressive the United States federal income taxes. It's fair to say we have what liberal democrats seek, which is high income Americans pay the great majority. Why is it not readily
acceptable to average Americans as to those facts? Because you can take these numbers, the top one percent pay forty six percent, the top ten percent pay seventy six percent, the top fifty percent pay ninety nine percent of the taxes. But people don't believe that, right. Yeah, I think a lot of that is because the political class isn't honest with them. It isn't when we sort of cross out these statistics that are just simply not based in reality.
I think your point we have the tax system a lot of Democrats want is really apt. And but there's a flip side of that. Would they point to the way that Europe does their taxing. They want big government, big social services, and higher taxes than we have, like a lot of European countries do. The way that those countries pay for that big government is actually higher taxes on poor people and the middle class to evalue added tax for
much higher income tax rates that hit much lower down the income distribution. And so the reality of where where democrats want us to go is not higher taxes on the wealthy, but instead higher taxes on middle class. Americans and so called billionaires generally have no income which is a subject to the income tax rates. They have capital gains, and capital gains rates are lower than the income tax tables. And billionaires of all the rich CPAs and accountants money can buy
to find loopholes things to that character that average Americans do not have. Now in the State of Union address about a month ago that Biden stumbled through horribly. He talked about making corporations and businesses in America pay quote their fair share, and that he wants to grossly increase the tax rates paid by corporations, by companies, etc. Explain to the American people, Adam Michelle, why
that is a bad idea. So the United States competes for businesses, for global talent, for investment, for jobs with other countries all around the world. Businesses can quite easily move. They did this a lot before the twenty seventeen Tact, that they were inverting their headquarters to Europe. So when you raised the business income tax, the corporate income tax above the sort of art average of our largest trading partners, you start losing investment and jobs and businesses.
And so Biden wants to raise our corporate income tax rate backup, so we'd have about the second highest rate in the developed world, putting us back into that world pre twenty seventeen when businesses couldn't leave the United States fast enough. So by doing so, companies would leave the America and the United States and go to Mexico, go to Taiwan, go to the Philippines or whatever.
And secondly, isn't it true that if companies corporation's income tax bill goes up, do they increase the cost of goods and services to sell to the public, which means inflation would be in a runaway mode. So most of the corporate income taxes actually passed on to workers in the form of lower wages. It does get passed on to some investors and does go into higher prices, but most of it actually shows up in a way of hurting workers,
both in the form of slower wage growth and fewer jobs. And so when you cut the corporate income tax rate, it's actually a benefit to working Americans here in the United States. And that's what we saw when it was cut in twenty seventeen, and what I would expect to see the reverse of if
we were to raise it back up to sort of internationally high levels. And you have a posting about energy subsidies win the spending madness at twenty twenty four some of your I'm going to share that with the American people, But can you talk about what's happening in California with their governor Gavin Newsom, who is perceived to be the president in waiting, because nobody with any common sense would
ever think that Kamala Harris could be the president. But nonetheless, he wanted to give more money to low income workers by taking the minimum wage from twelve bucks an hour to twenty bucks an hour, and then it goes up from there. And in fact, the twenty bucks an hour to a McDonald's worker does not take into account the taxes that worker is liable to have the employer spend on like unemployment, workers compensation, all that stuff, So the twenty
bucks an hour is even a lower. Why is it a bad idea for government mandates to tell the fast food workers We're going to pay you a lot more money. And isn't that a good thing? Yeah, well, when you raise the minimum wage, especially as high and as quickly as they have in California, it leads to additional automation and pushing out of those sort of starter jobs that help you get that first rung on the ladder to then earn
higher wages in the future. So often what we've seen after these types of large minimum wage taxing, large minimum wage increases is that it hurts actually the people, the exact same people that you're oftensibly trying to help, and so instead I think we should be focusing on pro growth policies that allow businesses to expand and hire more people, creating additional opportunities for those workers in viting markets push wages up rather than government mandates. You know, it's a perfect example
of the law of untended consequences. The intent was to put more money in the pockets of low wage workers. In reality it caused them to be unemployed, and more ais being used and production methods are being done by machines of one type or another, and therefore those it intends to help it hurts. Secondly, I see that the Inflation Reduction Act Whenever, which is passed two years ago by only Democratic votes, and you have a posting energy subsidies win
spending Madness of twenty twenty four. The results from the spending Madness suggests that the highest priority budget cut for Congress is the vast corporate welfare unleashed by the IRA is favored by the Inflation Reduction Act. And you note that the economy was flooded with at least one trillion dollars and more spending and narrow tax breaks for corporation across many industries. Why are the energy subsidies we think about cylinder
et cetera. Why is that a terrible idea? And why do the Inflation Reduction Act actually increase inflation? Yeah, the name the bill is perhaps the most laughable part of this whole thing. It was originally supposed to include about just a couple hundred billion dollars of tax credits I shouldn't say just, but tax credits for these types of preferenced energy, types of energy. The cost is now balloon to well over a trillion dollars, likely one point eight trillion
dollars over ten years. Some of these things are ultimately made permanent. So this is one just additional inflationary spending sort of going out going out the door. But two, it makes energy markets less efficient. It's Washington choosing the type of car that you're going to drive and the type of where your energy gets to, rather than the market and consumer demand choosing those sort of the cars and the energy that is most sustainable for the economy. And so it's
just another form of central planning industrial policy out of Washington. All right, let's get on to the issue of borrowing about one trillion dollars every one hundred days. If you take and you know the numbers, if you take social Security, Medicare, medicaid, if you take interest on the national debt, federal retirement programs, and the defense budget, which those items are really never cut. In fact, they have to go up in a sense. That's
about eighty percent of the budget. And so how do you get to a balanced budget when you have are going to add about twenty trillion dollars to the national debt over the next ten years, and we're talking twenty thirty four, we're going to have accumulate national debt in the range of fifty five trillion dollars fifty five trillion dollars, which is completely unsustainable. That is Banana Republic. How do you get to a balanced budget when you have over eighty percent of
the budget is to areas that are sacred cows. You know the answers. You can't have sacred cows. Everything needs to be on the table, and if it's not, then we're going to continue to sort of spiral out of control. So if you take those mandatory spending items Medicare, Medicaid, social security, and interest on the debt, leaving defense spending off to the side. Just those pieces will will will be larger than all the projected tax revenue
coming in the door in just a couple of years. And so that tells me that sort of spending growth is the problem, and we have to reform every single one of those things you mentioned. Otherwise taxes are going to have to go up on middle class Americans and that will be that will ultimately be painful. To go back to your first point, I want to make this apparent to the American people. The top one percent pay forty six percent.
But what percent of total income in the country does the top one percent earn. They earn about twenty six percent of the total income, and they pay forty six percent of all all taxes. So that sort of gets again to this point of the wealthier paying much more than the share of the income they're earning and more than their fair share by that metric. So to increased taxes, that must be increased in the middle class. And that's a problem.
Right. Let's talk about if I would have you on with me in five, six, seven years from now. Let's get out the crystal ball. Let's say Joe Biden slash slash Kamala Harris Win November the fifth. And let's say the Democrats take over the House and they keep they keep the Senate, and they go back into another inflation Reduction Act mode and continue to gallop federal spending out of control. How can you determine when the debt crisis comes?
And secondly, Adam Michelle, what would that look like and how will that impact average Americans? Fause we've got to get a handle on that. Yeah, well that's the trillions of dollars, that's the trillion dollar question. When when the when the true fiscal crisis hits? And I wish I knew, No one really knows when that tipping point is. But we can't continue to have a two trillion dollar gap between the revenue that comes in the door and
the spending that goes out the door. Eventually something has to break and uh and and that will be It's going to be painful. It will look like higher inflation, it will look like dramatic necessary cuts to to to government spending. It will also to probably entail higher taxes on not just those earning over four hundred thousand dollars a year, but every single American. There'll be slower economic growth and and a lot of pain. And so that's why making those
reforms to the budget now is so important. The sooner we start these conversations and actually start making reforms, the easier it ultimately will be all right. Once again, Kato Institute c A t O Keto Institute. I encourage the American people and talk at the website. Lots of good stuff there. This is the most predictive financial cris ever to strike any country. I've been talking about this for the last ten to fifteen years, and the next five to
ten years will be utterly ridiculous. When it comes to federal spending, I sense that Joe Biden slash Kamala Hair slash Gavin Newsom has no clue, no desire to cut federal spending at all. They want to increase taxes. We went over who pays the taxes, and that's impossible to cut any more muscle out of the body of those who have high incomes. And once again, Adam Michelle, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham showing Adam you're a
great American. Thanks for having me on. It was a pleasure. God bless America. I let's continue with more Bill Cunningham, the Great American, Live with you every Sunday night,
