Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence, the one and only Bill.
Cunningham, Billy Cunningham, the Great American. And once again, what an embarrassment happening inside of America? Which is happening tonight in Los Angeles? And if the past is a precursor to the future, I would anticipate similar riots will take place in other American cities. Pray to God it does not transpire. Donald Trump is issued on truth Social a directive to the Department of Homeland Security, Department of Defense, date and quilling the riots as ICE agents conduct certain
raids in Los Angeles. By the way, those they arrested, they were arrested a tollo of forty individuals, all of whom either had warns out for their arrest or duportation orders. Involved thirteen individuals who were the worst of the worst, including murder and kidnapping and child rape and multiple drug sales violations, armed robbery, legal possession of drugs, a legal possession of firearms, etc.
Etc. Etc.
And then what happens, what ICE does is when they rate and they find someone in a room and a bedroom whatever, and they inquire as to the other people there, what is your circumstance? And if they find out the person therewith has warns out for their arrest, they arrest that person too. Otherwise they get about their business, the worst of the worst. And about an hour and a half ago, the President said, quote once great American city, Los Angeles, the city of Angels has been invaded and
occupied by illegal aliens and criminals. Now violent insurrectionist mobs are swarming and attacking federal agents to try to stop deportation operations. But this lawless riots will not occur, not
on my watch. The President goes on to say, I'm directing Secretary of Homeland Security Christy Nome, Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth, an Attorney General of PAM bonding coordination with other relevant departments and agencies, to take all such actions necessary to liberate Los Angeles from the migrant invasion and put it into the migrant riots order will be restored. The President says illegals will be expelled and Los Angeles will be set free. That came out about an hour
and a half ago. This all started Friday, And of course in Los Angeles right now it's about seven to eight pm, and probably by the time I get off there in about three hours, there's concern it'll be what about ten pm, just after sundown Los Angeles. It is concerned it's gonna get worse, and of course this will build throughout the days. And I monitored earlier on your behalf so you don't have to listen to watch CNN
every now and then. John Miller, who's their security analyst, and John Miller, former cop, has more lucid many moments than many on CNN and said that there's a bigger problem here, and I'm watching it. There's a bigger problem. And right now the violence is somewhat minimal compared to what happened with the so called Rodney King riots, with the George Floyd riots, in which there are dozens of
people killed and murdered, hundreds of cops are injured. At this point, it is somewhat somewhat dominimus compared to what could happen. But John Miller said, the worst of the worst are there, about the one hundred and twenty five thousand or so gang members. Los Angeles is known, as
you know, as the gang capital of the world. So when he said, when you have one hundred twenty five thousand gang members who enjoy burglaries and robberies and rape and all kinds of other nefarious criminal activities largely going unpunished in Los Angeles, what occurs during these riots is that the cops in LAPD are so occupied with providing law and order in certain areas that the hundred and twenty five hundred and thirty thousand of those there are
gang bangers that want to do terrible things have free license to do so because they know what will happen. Nine to one one is called and nobody's showing up. In fact, this kind of began on Friday. There were about fifteen or twenty ice agents arresting the worst of the worst with murder charges, murder warrings, kidnapping, deportation orders.
And what happened is about fifteen hundred so called to protesters surrounded the ice vehicles and they couldn't get out of where they were and if they laid in front of the of the vehicles Ice and so ICE put out a call to LAPD to come help us. We need help. We have fifteen hundred riders and protesters surrounding our building and surrounding our vehicles, and we can't get out.
And so it took more than.
Two hours for LAPD to respond politically because Karen Bass, the mayor, would not cooperate with federal law enforcement agencies. After all, it is a sanctuary city, right, And so that's what called Donald calls Donald Trump to say, enough is enough. I'm not going to have fifteen or twenty of my ICE agents federal law enforcement that are going to be somehow kidnapped in a sense by fifteen hundred demonstrators and riders laying down in front of their vehicles.
That's how it all started. So John Miller's making the point, and it's a good one. In the city of Los Angeles, the city itself has about four million residents in the city of Los Angeles, los Angeles County is about twenty million. Instead of giving an example in the city of Los Angeles, for about four million residents in the city, there's about they have about nine thousand cops and only about one third of command.
Officers, etc. Not street cops.
Shall we say, give you an example, he said, John Miller said, and the city of New York, which has eight million, twice as many residents in the city as LA, has forty thousand cops. He said, they're down about two thousand cops. People don't want to join LAPD, they're not supported, they're attacked, and there's a tremendous shortage of law enforcement
in the City of the Angels. And as a consequence, what occurs is that when nine to one one calls are made, no one's showing up, and so the concern is going to be, you know what, we got a major problem. We got a terrible problem. And that is that when nine to one one has hit, calls by burglaries and robberies, rapes and drug dealing and human trafficking, kidnapping happening now Friday night, Saturday, Sunday, I would anticipate Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday.
What's going to happen then is that nine to one one will be called a guess of what no one is showing up and one hundred and twenty five thousand gang members in Los Angeles know that. So right now there's looting happening in many parts of the city of Los Angeles. Terrible looting is taking place, and fire bombing of vehicles, especially cars. There's all kind of spray painting or tagging everything in sight to calls further mayhem and
disgusting behavior. Now you've got Kamala Harris has come out of her hiding place criticizing the behavior of Donald Trump and blaming him unbelievable, the governor, Gavin Newsom says, in citing and provoking violence, creating mass chaos, these are the
acts of a dictator, not a president. And so quickly diversion tactics are taking place in which law enforcement is left alone to trying to hunker down using spray, using tear gas and rubber bullets, as thousands are flying the Mexican flag all over Los Angeles and blaming Now the officials in charge, Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom, is blaming Donald Trump a convenient foible for their left wing failed social experiment, which is the city of Los Angeles now
overtaken by anarchists and and I uh uh uh those who want to the Socialist Party in TIFA types who use this as an occasion to rape and robin pillage, which has happened so many times before in Los Angeles. I don't know how we get out of this because the violent insurrectionists are not peaceful protesters. And Donald Trump an hour and a half ago said Los Angeles will be set free, taken over and I and it's not going to happen tonight, maybe not tomorrow, but in the
next few days. I fear, and I pray to God and the and Saint Michael, the archangel it does not happen, but all hell's going to break loose in other American cities, much like the George Floyd riots spread thither and fro or the Rodney King riots spread because anarchists and TIFA types, the Socialist Party, some funded by Iran, some funded by communists Red China. I have an expert coming up later. And right now I'm looking at I'm looking at Fox News.
They have dozens of police cars that have been vandalized, set on fire. And right now as we speak, what times seven to fifteen pm in LA the police are dispersing tear gas and rubber bullets. But what's happening with one hundred and twenty five thousand gang members not flying the Mexican flag but wanting profit by burglary and arson and robbery, murder, rape, and human trafficking. It is a free fire zone right now in Los Angeles and likely not to get any better. So that's where we are.
And those Democrats in charge need someone to blame other than their own failed polic and that Donald wanted to get ahead of this thing quickly, this top of him occurring. But now Maxine Waters and Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom, and of course Kamala Harris is going after Donald Trump as if he's the one causing the difficulties when all the federal officials are doing is enforcing the law which will not be enforced in sanctuary cities.
So I want to get your reaction.
We have several calls in a hold now, but I'm going to spend as much time as possible. I have about forty or fifty great radio stations in the state of California, and all the polling, including CBS News pulled
this morning and face the nation. The great majority of the American people support Donald Trump on this issue, and they don't support the Mexican flag being flown all over Los Angeles, and doesn't that feed into the idea that this is a foreign invasion of Mexican nationals trying to take over a great American city, Los Angeles, despite the fact that it is a failed city state, much like New York City, or much like Washington, DC, or Atlanta
or Chicago. It's a failed city state. Saint Louis, for example, all taken over. And now I'm watching dozens of police cars being trashed and the police are powerless to stop it. Which is why the Donald the pote is called the two thousand. He federalized the California National Guard and said, we've got to We've got to stop the violence. The
violence now is only beginning. They're not peaceful demonstrators, They're rioters and violent insurrectionists controlled by anarchic behavior, the Antifa types and socialist rioters and opportunistic street gangs that are going to take advantage of this for personal profit. It is disgusting, and the blame law enforcement for this. In fact, I would note the California sheriff is called Kamala has
Harris's statement and embarrassment. How about that the National Guard was deployed in Los Angeles County by after the Ice protest, and the California sheriff himself has said that what Kamala Harris has said about Donald Trump is not true. That's Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco and blasted Vice President Kamala Harris tonight over her claims that the Trump administration is to blame for the la unrest. Blame Donald Trump for undrest. No,
it's rioting, it's insurrectionists. He went on to say that President Trump didn't start these rights. He's found out there lighting cars, cars on fire, hurling projectiles at cops, are blocking freeways. This statement by Kamala Harris, the sheriff says his embarrassment. The Democrats and their leaders own this, and the mainstream media course will blame Donald Trump as they always do. Talk to Terry Moran about that. Let's continue, take some calls I want to hear from Idaho, Missouri
and Michigan, et cetera. And it was nineteen ninety two Bush Bush forty one was in charge. You might recall the repeated riots when Bill Clinton was in office and the George Floyd riots. All those took place. Trump was there for a lot of them, but the major cities largely burned, hundreds of cops were hurt, about forty dozen cops were murdered. And now in Los Angeles that fuse is lit again and I'm looking at these clowns in the streets in Los Angeles. It is disgusting. So here's
the question I lay upon the table. Do you blame Donald Trump for this? Do you blame law enforcement? Are police to blame when criminals commit crime? Do you blame ice in federal law enforcement for enforcing the law which is not enforced in sanctuary cities and sanctuary states like Los Angeles? Are the rioters violent insurrectionists bought and paid for by Antifa and other socialist organizations to tear on
our society? And this video is now being dispersed all over the world by CNN, etc. In Bass, who you know, spend her time in Africa as those terrible wildfires are ravaging fifteen thousand homes. Still about a year later, nothing is transpired to improve that situation. Wants to blame Donald Trump for her failures and this, uh, this will not
stop until it is stopped. Let's continue and if the line becomes available eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven Bill Cunningham, the Great Americans standing tall and proud for our President and an hour of need and law enforcement. Bill Cunningham News Radio. I'm Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night. One of the big signs held up as LA is a sanctuary city.
Ice.
Then I see the F word prominently displayed. I don't know how federal law does not apply to major American cities. And for those on the left that say, you know what, this is unusual for the National Guard to be called out and federalized, not requested by the governor, as happened before,
for example, in the nineteen fifties and sixties. You may recall my producer Sean McMahon may not remember those days, but it was very common for democratic governors in the South like Overal Fabas and George Wallace, etc. And democratic mayors not to enforce federal law in their cities and in their state. At that point, the federal law said that black kids have to have the same equal opportunity
out of public education as white kids. Nineteen fifty four, Brown versus the Board of Education, and the Democrats then said, we're not going to allow federal law to be enforced in our city and in our state, So therefore, we're
not going to enforce federal law. It took Eisenhower and Kennedy and Johnson to call out the National Guard and federal lies, the National Guard in Mississippi, Alabama, South Carolina, and Arkansas in order to enforce federal law in those cities in those states that the Democrats refuse to enforce because they said it's states rights. Democrats said that sixty
seventy years ago, federal law does not apply here. Jump ahead three or four generations later, same party, different characters said federal law does not apply in Chicago, Los Angeles, Saint Louis, Memphis, Los Angeles, or Miami, Orlando, Austin, Texas, the San Francisco of the Great Lone Star state of Texas. They said, guess what, We're not going to force federal law.
And so we're fighting the same party with different characters who say that federal law doesn't apply here, that we will not allow those who are in this country illegally that have warrants out for their arrest and deportation orders that have been ignored to be arrested in our city in this case is Los Angeles, Tomorrow might be Chicago, New York whatever. Similar things are happening, by the way
in New York City. And so the Democrats of the fifties and sixties have now metastasized the Democrats of the twenty first century to not enforce federal law because they know best.
So this is not old, this is consistent, This is not new.
Democrats do not want to enforce the law when it involves their cities in those states, they tell the Feds to get the hell out. And so what Kamala Harris and Gavin Newsom and Kevin Bess and others are doing today is exactly the same thing that George Wallace and Orville Fabis did sixty seventy years ago, saying that we will not allow federal agents to enforce federal law in our city or in our state. And I hope the same result occurs at the American people say we can't
have this. Black kids deserve exactly the same opportunity of a quality education as white kids are Brown kids. They'll make any difference brown versus Board of Education and it took the Democrats kicking and screaming to bring them into the civil rights era that they opposed. And so now we have once again. It wasn't Eisenhower this time, but it was Donald Trump saying, no, wait a minute, you're
not a sanctuary city, You're not a sanctuary state. Federal law applies on deportation orders of illegals that have invaded our country. Running around Los Angeles with a Mexican flag of flying proving what Donald Trump is saying, this is a foreign invasion. As a consequence, as the President, I will cause the enforcement of federal law in Los Angeles, and this is going to spread somewhere else in other democratic cities and democratic states.
Sadly, I hope that's not the case.
But federal law applies in Chicago, La, Cincinnati, Austin, as it does apply anywhere else.
Let's continue.
We'll take calls next, I promise I'm done babbling for a while. Number to call is eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven.
This is the issue of our time.
We elected this guy to enforce federal law when it comes to immigration. Do you approve or disapprove Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday.
Night, Colla's continuing your calls.
I would note that Kamala Harris is backing the riders. I might add the media might say it's a protest, and I've seen peaceful protest. I've seen A protest is not a riot, and a riot is not a protest. When cars are firebombed, is that a protest? When stores are looted? Is that a protest? When police are attacked brutal ow I spit on, have rocks and bottles thrown at them? Is that a protest? His vandalism and tagging public property? Is that a protest? Is blocking interstate highways
and freeways? Have I missed something? Is that a protest? I think those are riots. I might be wrong. And Karen Bass said about an hour ago that LAPD is handling this quite well. I don't blame LAPD. They're completely overwhelmed and understaffed. They need at least about ten to fifteen percent more. They don't have it because it is not considered worthwhile to become a cop in Los Angeles, Chicago,
or many other I live in Little Cincinnati, Ohio. Cincinnati's down about one hundred and hundred and fifty cops, which is ten percent down of what they need. There's large parts of our city after midnight that is policed by one car. Handling about forty thousand people for one car. Doesn't work that way. But when the media says it's a protest, a protest is not. When stores are looted, cars are fire bombed, massive vandalism, blocking interstate highways, an
attacks on police and federal law enforcement. Is that a protest or is that a riot? Let's continue and we'll go first to Mark and Missouri. I love that guy, and Tony and San Diego. And if you're one of my fifty years so stations in California tonight, give us a call. Eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven, Mark and Missouri. Welcome to the Bill cunning m Show. Mark, How are you.
Very good?
Bill?
Thank you?
I appreciate that. I think the most amazing statu you put Forest Night at there, one hundred and twenty five thousand gang members in LA that's a major city. It's just amazing. And you have pointed out rightly that the Democrats have long been a plague on this nation, basically from the Civil War to segregation to the Ku Kus Klan to as you were talking talking about. And these one hundred and twenty five thousand gang members are largely the result of lbj's war on poverty going on now
for sixty years. That's decimated the African American family. And these kids grow up without fathers, they grew up in the really dysfunctional homes, and they turned to gangs, I guess to be their families. It's just everything the Democrats do. I mean, like you just said, the cities, ninety five percent of the cities are run by Democrats, major cities, and they're all amiss. They're all a disaster. I mean, La is one of the worst, Chicago, and it's just
they are an enemy of the state. It's just it's mind boggling. And I would like to bring up my main point what I called was this week you're talking about these riots. Well, we got the leader of the Democrat Party in Congress, Hakeem Jeffreys called these law enforcement officials the ice agents. He called them Nazis. He said they wear a mask. And Dan Goldman, another congressman, said
the same thing. I don't understand why these guys are not kicked out of Congress, and they should be arrested because they actually threaten the lives of these ICE agents. They said, we're going to identify it. At least they implied that it's just this party is just I mean, they are so bent on getting these illegals here and getting them in voting. It's just really, I mean, it's they are the enemy of the state. They're an invader of this state right now.
Mark lad is right, let's talk about it.
King Jefferies, he says, and I think I'm smart money says that November of next year he's likely to be the Speaker of the House because and off your elections, the outer party normally wins, and that King Jefferies is saying that ICE agents wearing a mask are similar to the Nazis and KKK who wore masks and hoods. And these cops have to wear the mask because they're being docked and targeted by radical leftists and anarchists. If their identity was known, they would be their personal lives would
be destroyed. It would be more difficult to get some American to step up and be in the law enforcement. And anyway, I thought Democrats love masks. During COVID it wasn't it like a requirement for Democrats saying everyone has to wear a mask.
But when the leader of the Democrat.
Party and recently Kamala Harris said about two hours ago she stands with the protesters, which are the rioters when you have a key, when you have a king, Jeffery is the leader in the House saying that federal law enforcement are like Nazis. What does that say about the Democratic Party.
Well, they're inciting these riots, just like when they called President Trump Hitler over and over. I have no doubt they incited the assess attempts on him and who knows how many they actually stopped as well, that's.
What they do.
They know they're doing that. They want chaos. I mean that's right out of Sololinski or the Communist manifesto or whatever. And that may sound like hyperbole, it's not. This party is just truly our enemy right now, and I so wish. I mean, if a natural reaction to this, if one was a Republicans should be just go to the floor and just condemn them, I mean, center them right away, to call ice agents who are risking their lives. Yes, Nasi, I mean that they have no conscience. They have no morality,
They don't care about the country. They just singularly see power, just like stolidists. They don't they have they have no conscience to do that. So the King Jefferies could say that these Ice agents are Nazis. It's just I mean, it's just as low as it goes. But they always surprise us, they always go lower. So who knows what they plan?
They know everything they say, You.
Know, Mark King Jefferies is relying upon poorly informed voters and Americans to listen to the bs. He puts out as if it's true, because the only way Democrats and made you City stay in power is by lying repeatedly to their constituency, promising new things, new resolutions for the problems, their policies of cost. And I can't think take the
top twenty American cities. Which city is well run with low taxes, good public schools, low crime rates, the ability of families to walk around the city streets at night without fear. What American city is well run by the left wing Democratic Party? The answer I think is none. There's not one. You would think the Stockholm syndrome applies to Democratic voters in major American cities. If you don't
know what that is, look it up. And they've promised certain things that never transpire, then blame others for the mistakes their policies of cost. And to me, I don't know how we function as a great country. If the top twenty twenty five thirty largest American cities are run like Los Angeles, New York, Austin, Washington, d C. And Atlanta, how do we functions good as we are?
Yeah, we don't function, but I don't I don't think they're bothered by that. Matter of fact, that's kind of what they want. I mean, you've got this guy run in Chicago. Let's go Brandon. I mean, you have one hundred seventy shootings over the fourth of July last year, and they don't they're not bothered by that. They just know that these people are suppressed and that they'll keep
voting Democrat for their welfare pittance. And that's why they wanted to get all these illegals in the country as well, just to repeat the process. And we have more voters on welfare voting for Democrats, turning the country. Abut they don't care. They'll burn the country down for power they don't care about anything, you know, It's just.
I see the Mexican flag everywhere. I don't see the American flag. Also, I would note that Brandon Johnson, the ridiculous mayor of the City of Chicago, has an approval rating of six point six percent, which is much lower than Lori Lightfoot, believe it or not, who is not a second term in twenty twenty three. He's up for election in the twenty twenty seven and at this point
his approval rating is somewhere below ten percent. But if he were to run against a Trump endorsed Republican, the voters of Chicago would put Brandon Johnson back in charge of the city of Chicago.
Unbelievable.
Let's continue with Morrisco to Vera in Cleveland, the home of the Guardians and the Browns, and VERA, welcome to the Bill Cunninghamshire listening on WTAM and VERA give me a full report.
Well, I don't blame Trump sending me in those stational guards. I don't blame the Marines coming in there to protect those police, the policeman from those illegal houme rooms. These illegal hum rooms are to be kicked out of this country. In the sending back to where they came from. And I vote Trump. I vote from all three times, and I have no regrets because all these illegal who wills
are they really don't want to be here. All they want is the freebiest and they're taking away these food sampsons, people like that that really need them and who are here illegally in the American citizens and things like.
That, para thank you for your call. I would say this. On the medicaid front, the media refuses to tell the truth about medicaid funding because it doesn't fit their political purposes and supported Democrats. There's about one point three million illegal aliens getting Medicaid, which is illegal. There's another four point five million or so who are able bodied adults
on their mother's counch or living in the basement. They get government benefits, including medicaid who are able bodied, not caring for a child, whatever that needs to get them to hell off medicaid. That's about six seven million people that can be identified. And most of the America people believe that if you're illegal, you should not get legal benefits. And secondly, if you're able body, you should work or don'tate your time to a charity or go to school
to do something, get off your duff. But the media does not report on medicaid cuts because there aren't medicaid cuts at all. To those who are legally get medicaid, there are no cuts. What the cuts are two or to the illegals or the or those who refuse to work. So let's continue now with uh. Let's go to uh. Well, we'll go to Nancy and Cincinnati. Nancy and Cincinnati. Welcome to the bill cutting him show Nancy, how are you?
I'm good, Willie?
How you doing.
I'm living the American dream, watching history repeat.
Itself, I know, and the city of Cincinnati repeat itself. You know, we hit our riots here. We've dealt with this before, right.
It's Scott.
I fear that this is going to spread by the immigrant rights community. Fortunately in Cincinnati, that we don't have a large immigrant population, a legal immigrant population, although we're a sanctuary city, sanction Troy County allegedly, but we don't have the same difficulties here as Los Angeles or many cities in Texas. But I anticipate we'll have some minor fall up, but I hope not, right, But.
You remember, really, let's educate everyone from outside of Cincinnati. We had the collaborative agreement here that was the result of the riots that took place in the city. So possibly, I'm all for law enforcement. I'm all for back in the blue. But we have to think with not with our emotions. We have to think with rationality. So I want to educate you a little bit on something that you said earlier. You said that the CBS poll from today showed this the majority of Americans. I worked for
the National Polling Company. I was a senior project director with the Harris Polling people. You may have heard of them. They're referred during election times and also at other times, and the Harris poll And I want to tell you something as a senior research director and someone who's been in market research since I graduated from the University of Dayton, Okay, and I will tell you that polls can you can make them walk, talk and say what they want to say.
The demographics, psychographics and pollos that are put together by these organizations like Harris, like CBS, like that happened during the Trump you know, during political elections. Without getting political, I just want you to be aware that those polls are all based on the demographics and the psychographics and the background of those people that we are polling. Okay, So those folks that were pulling it depends on if they answer the poll, which now is all digital online.
And also in addition to that, whether what the criteria is for our clients, our clients that we as a company, the Harris Company, the CBS, whoever is hired to do that research. So I was as a project director, I would the intermediary between our clients in a polling population for lack of a better word, okay, And so the clients would hire us. Okay, So let's use before Harris,
it was the Worflin. The company was called Worflin Worldwide and they acquired Harris acquired us, and Worflin Worldwide was part of the Ronald Reagan administration and they did all the polling for Ronald Reagan. So when we were acquired, and we have always been based here in Cincinnati, out of Cincinnati, Lillie, and we are the clients, they would hire us. So let's use the Reagan administration as an example. They would hire us to do the polls for mister Reagan.
Because mister Worflin, who was based in Richard B. Worthlin based in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was a Mormon. He and his town, his company, the warfl and worldwide. They did the polling for Ronald Reagan's administration and they were high. They hired Worflin mister Worthlind to do the polling and then the polling data showed what Ronald Reagan needed to do in order to win the election. Okay, that's just what example.
So you're saying garbage in garbage out depends on the sampling, and today it's more difficult because of the lack of landlines.
Is that correct?
That's one thing I'm not saying it's more difficult. I'm saying that we live in a digital society, really, and those polls are now held digitally. So whoever answers those polls if I was if they were my client, which they're not, But if CBS was my client, those polls would be held digitally and the research will be conducted and then someone like myself would analyze the research and present it to our clients. Does that make sense?
Makes sense to me? And I'll tell you what Nancy, garbage in, garbage out. I don't trust Poles at all, because if I trusted polls, we'd have Hillary Clinton as the president for eight years, then would have Kamala Harris as the president for eight years, and then Tim Waltz is the president for eight years, and we'd be in serious trouble.
And let's continue.
Thanks to your call, and if a line becomes available eight six six six four seven seven three three seven, Bill Cunningham, the Great American with you and all other great America every Sunday night, and now let's continue.
We never stop.
And what's happening in Los Angeles tonight and I fear in many other American cities and today say he, I say it prayer tonight to Saint Michael to hopefully not have that transpire. Is the effort by liberal Democrats living in the sanctuary cities sanctuary states to nullify the national election in twenty twenty four. We don't want to follow
what the American people voted for, and overwhelming numbers. Say what you will about Donald Trump, He's the most remarkable political character since maybe Thomas Jefferson elected as you know in eighteen hundred, the guy is really Donald Trump is incredible. Among other things, he said, elect me and this is
what I'm going to do. The number one issue he was involved with, of course, was a legal alien migration into the sanctuary cities and sanctuary states, and he said at every rally, get them the hell out of here. And secondly, he believed in tariffs, and he said tariffs as much as he said illegal aliens.
Those are the two reasons.
Now the Democrats refuse out to acknowledge the outcome of an election when it doesn't fit their personal political peccadillos. They want to nullify a national election as recently as about six months ago. The Trump's has been in office now about five months, and they don't acknowledge that he won. Talk about a threat to democracy. Hell, the Democrats are a threat to democracy When they don't acknowledge the outcome of an election, they want to nullify your vote for him.
Some seventy seven million Americans voted for Donald Trump. Seventy four million voted for Kamala Harris, who tonight said that Donald Trump is causing riots. Imagine that gymnastic opinion of Kamala Harris. And they want to ignore democracy when it doesn't fit the outcome they think they deserve. They throw a conniption fit. So everything happening On Friday, the thirteen gang bangers with Warrens out for their arrest were surrounded by fifteen hundred to two thousand who would not allow
those vehicles to leave the apartment dwelling. They called for laped back up and it didn't arrive for more than two hours. That Donald then acted, which is exactly what he said he was going to do. We voted for this. Let's continue with more if a line becomes available eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven. As we continue, we have calls from Los Angeles and Idaho and Michigan and Pittsburgh and Cincinnati and Roswell, New Mexico.
How about that.
Maybe aliens are calling in and we'll take your calls for as long as it takes. Goll Cunning him to Great American With you and all great Americans who believe in the outcome of elections with you every Sunday.
Night, Willie you by Choice Hotels Econno Rodger Roadway in hotels are serving up double points for over qualifying.
Stare book at choice hotels dot com.
Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best the recipient of not one but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence. The one and only Bill Cunningham.
All right, Billy Cunningham, the Great American. And there's something called the Posse Comatatis Act which might be at the center of the Trump Newsom National Guard dispute. And tonight, about a half an hour ago, California Governor Gavin Newsom, is a real clown, demanded withdrawal of federal troops despite pentagon On reading an additional five hundred, this time in the United States Marine Corps. And so this will be
in federal court soon. You might recall the Posi Comatatus Act was signed into law by President Rutherford B. Hayes amid concerns at the military too much sway over civilian affairs during the Reconstruction. You see, after the Democrats in the South lost the Civil War, part of the deal that put Hayes into office over a guy named Tilden was that if Hayes was elected, largely because of the votes of the southern racist Democrats, that he would withdraw all federal.
Troops from the South.
And in the reason that was done is that the Democrats wanted to impose their racist policies on the freed black slaves, and the Democrats demanded as a reason to put Rutherford B. Hayes in office instead of Tilden, who won the popular vote. Was Hayes promised them that if you electoral College put me in, I will order the
US troops out of the South. He signed in a law a suddenly called the Posse Comittatis Act, and generally, just from my law school training, it kind of bars the use of the US military for civilian law enforcement inside the country. But as always a bud, there are a couple of exceptions, and Trump deployed the National Guard, but so far those troops have not participated in direct law enforcement, and of course the Governor of California said
they cannot. Trump sent the the National Guard after the ICE agents who are attacked on the streets of la without the assistance of Karen Bass and LAPD and so he signed a presidential memorandum to deploy two thousand National Guards to address the lawlessness that has been allowed to fester, and the Newsom has objected. As we stand tonight on Sunday night, the President is prepared to send in five hundred Marines, the one hundred and forty seven year old
law will take center stage. So sometime tonight or early tomorrow, the ACLU is going to run to a compliant liberal federal judge to apply the Posse Comitatus Act and say that the ability of the president to ascend in the US military very limited purposes does not apply here. Because Karen Bass, the mayor, she has said they can handle this.
She says, we got this, and the military can enforce law against US citizens, which include a congressional decree if an insurrection has been declared how under the Insurrection Act, or when state government approves unable or unwilling to impose the law and order. As we sit here tonight, the President has not enacted employed the Insurrection Act, which is an exception to the Posi comatatis law.
But to me, the key to this thing is that LAPD. In fact, the chief of LAPD.
Jim McDonell, right now said that Governor Gavin Newsom met with law enforcement leaders in LA to inquire whether or not you can handle this.
LAPD.
The chief is employed by Mayor Karen Bass, and they're relating tonight that they can handle this. But looking to my left to my right, I see the incapability of them to do so, because what I'm seeing is cars that are being firebombed, stores are being looted. Police officers are being attacked. Interstate highways are being shut down. But they're claiming, don't telling Trump now, do not invoke the Insurrection Act, which would be an exception to posi comatatis.
So here we are.
Let's continue with your calls. The line becomes available eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven. Let's continue now with Tony in San Diego. Tony and San Diego, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Tony, how are you good?
Evening?
Bill?
This is actually fake Dame Tony, because I don't want to be docs like Haskin Jeffreys has mentioned, but I am very informed about what's going on. First, I want to say you are a great American. Listen to your show every every weekend. Thank you, Thank you for being being live and being a true American.
Thank you.
I'm listening here in the Cogo six hundred am, San Diego. A couple of things happening. You are correct at the Mayor Kevin, I'm sorry, Mayor Bath is uh pretty much, you know, uh, instigating and putting you know, a lighter fluid on the on the fire, and you're making it more crazy over there. There was a Ice raid here in San Diego about eight or nine days ago, the previous Friday, where the headlines were, you know, Ice agents do a raid in South Park, San Diego, and then
they deployed flask bangrenades. Well they were deployed because the crowd up was surrounding the ICE agents. You weren't letting them leave. So it's very misleading.
You know.
I'm just sticking tired of what the Democrats, you know, always lying and you know, distorting the truth. Just sickening. And then the mayor here in San Diego, Mariicad Gloria, who's a big failure, uh, said the next day that you know that the ICE agents are basically terribied and that's just putting more fuel on the fire. And in and like I mentioned that before, you know, the least
informed voter relieves all this crap. And and that's why we had in such divisions because people aren't informed about what's going on, you know.
And as I'm speaking to my life Gavin Knew, some is saying that because of state sovereignty, that the Posi Coma Tatis Act doesn't apply, the Insurrection Act doesn't apply, that the LAPD can handle it, all the lapds. It doesn't look to me like the police have control of the situation. I'm looking at three screens. It looks like
total chaos. And for the media to say this is a protest, well, when cars are fire bombed, when stores are looted, when one hundred and twenty five thousand gang members in Los Angeles are now committing burglaries, rapes, robberies, et cetera, that's not a protest. When vandalism is ramped and I look to my right, the Kobe Bryant Murro has been vandalized for a second time. When freeways are blocked, and that to me is not a peaceful protest.
What do you think, I agree?
Just like back in the twenty twenty when you have the five hundred plus riots you know across America, which the all pieceful protests. You have CNN seeing that the people process and in the background you got the building burning. You know, it's ridiculous.
It's mainly peaceful except for the buildings that are burned. The cops that were killed, the looting taking place, the vandalisms, the blocking of freeways.
Other than that it was mainly peaceful.
That is correct, and just the hypocrisy of the left.
It's wonderful.
You have to change the facts to fit your opinion. Whatever the facts are, change that to fix your to define your opinion. Therefore, when Gavin Knewsom said about a half an hour ago that state sovereignty means you can't apply the posse comitantis Act, which is there's two or
three exceptions. And the reason that even existed in eighteen seventy six had been one hundred and fifty one hundred and forty nine years ago, is because the Democrats wanted the federal troops out of the South in eighteen seventy six, about eleven years after the Civil War in it so that they could impose upon the freed black slaves the ku Klux Plan, and to get in office, Ruther R. B.
Hayes agreed to sign that into law. The federal troops exit at the South, and the Democrats had sovereignty over the black folks for the next one hundred and fifty years.
And look how that worked out.
And so It's amazing to me that black residents of many great American cities keep voting for their captors, that they vote for those causing the problems, promising solutions to the difficulties their policies have caused, and they keep buying. In Chicago, how do you go from Lori Lightfoot to Brandon Johnson? How do you look at Brandon Johnson, the head of the Teachers' Union, and his popularity now is
below ten percent. And I would imagine in Los Angeles there's going to be a Republican running for governor for a governor and one running for mayor. But if Karen Bass runs for reelection, she's likely to get reelected. That's the way Democrats act, and.
She'll be out of the country again when that happens. It's ridiculous all accountability for you know, any of the failed policies of the LAFT that had just ruined the state in the city. One thing I do want to say a topic though. Father Day's coming up the next week or so. Yeah, so all the listeners out there and make sure you listen to the show with Bill Cunningham is a great Father's Day story. So I just want to let stay that real quick off.
Topic, well so called Tony. You don't want to give me your real name because you might be dosed in San Diego.
I would do that. I'll do that next Sunday night.
And I think when my radio career is concluded and I look back on my time here with you, the best part of what I do is to marketly, positively change the life of individuals that I've never seen, I'll never meet, but I've had a measurable impact because of what I say on Father's Day Night. And I'll do that my Father's Day Story again next Sunday night. And every time I do it, I get thousands of positive comments on my various websites thanking me for doing it.
And the reason I do it every year it's a little bit of self reflection the failures in my life, of which I've had many, and the best thing I do is encourage others to not to walk the path that I walked. When my father reached out to me near his death and I didn't have the didn't have the maturity or the wisdom to accept his call to visit him before he died of cancer. And it's an unfinished chapter in my life, and I don't want you to walk the path that I walked, but I'll do
that next Sunday night. Let's continue with more. Let's go to a Deborah and Monterey, California. And Deborah and Monterey, Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Deborah, how are you.
I'm fine, and I am grateful for you and your show. I listen regularly and I really appreciate your guests and your perspective. I talk about it throughout the whole week.
Thank you.
I'm in California, and I don't know how we turn this stayed around unless we get rid of all of these illegal people who are voting. I trained as a poll worker for the twenty twenty four election, and they told us several times that we were absolutely forbidden to ask people for identification in this state. You just walk up and state your name and your address and that's it. And they sent out paper ballots to every Tom, Dick and Harry that had a driver's license, I think.
And.
Then when they showed up to the polls, they were supposed to bring if they hadn't voted their ballot, their paper ballot with them. Well, no one did, because it says nowhere that that's what you're supposed to do. So then they have to go and fill out what's called a provisional ballot, which is like a whole page of stuff, and then they vote their ballot and put that in there.
And that is why in this state they can't get the election results because everybody's voting these provisional ballots, which have to be gone through and verified. It's a joke to try to verify a signature because you even if you're a pole watcher, you're standing on the other side of the room. There's two people who are We were also told the bias of these people who are in the elections office is to allow the signature if it's
if it's even a slight facsimile. And so you're across the room, these two people are conferring, and of course they pass all these provisional ballots. The only thing I can say is, I don't know what happened to everify. I don't know what happens to getting these people out of the state that are illegal. It's it's really Our representative is Jimmy Panetta and son of Leon Panana here in Monterey, and he has admitted that over half of the workers in the Salinas Valley are illegals. I don't
know why, since we're just miles from Silicon Valley. They can't get robots to pick these vegetables. Robots don't dump anchor babies, they don't get sick, they don't flood the schools and the healthcare system and overload them. They don't cout millions of dollars. We've got to do something about this state because the way it's being run is very similar to what I saw in Seattle. I was there
in twenty twenty. It was a disaster and everybody was quote unquote up in arms, and yet at the next election they went and voted exactly the same people in again.
Well, you know what's happening, Debora, is that we have a federal all that says it is a federal felony to vote in a federal election if you're voting illegally,
if you're not registered to vote. But the local election officials, and in California, you know, and Sacramento and the governor have the most liberal voter registration laws in the country that encourages and centivizes and almost demands that activists take over the voting places, and because there's no voter ID, and because many names are similar one to the other, and because there's no videos.
Actually who's reported.
As a consequence, it is the elections in many blue cities, blue states are hijacked by left wing activists and nothing's going to change in California. I don't see Ronald Reagan coming back to beat Edmund pat Brown. I don't see that happening. I might be wrong, they might be shocked.
Economically, we have to freeze these people out. There has to be a will to just freeze these people out because it's a disaster. They they've infiltrated the trades. My contractor, he says, you know, I get fined a thousand dollars if I don't give some guy a fifteen minute break at ten o'clock in the morning on my expense. But these illegals, they just go in and they do all this half half baked work and then they disappear.
And that's it.
Well, dev I got to run up. I love thanks for listening. I love it, and I'm up against the clock. But what you're saying is exactly accurate, and I think only God Almighty can change California, and he's paying attention.
Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, with you every Sunday night. King riots that.
Left sixty three people dead in LA, twenty five hundred injured, twelve thousand arrested, and more than two point five billion dollars in property damage, and in comparison to that, the George Floyd and TIFA BML riots and twenty twenty combined in nineteen ninety two, and shall we say not as many, but it was awful. It was awful because those things accurse. It did not happen in LA. It happened in Minneapolis.
So in today's riots aren't against police. You might recall Rodney King beating the head the crap beat out of him because he wouldn't comply and he ran, et cetera. And then George Floyd riots, there was there was angst against police officer Shalvin who was trained to do what he did. But that's a different issue. But today's riots are not fueled by anger about the police activity. It's
about open borders nullifying an election. Open border radicals in their enablers not angry at police, but angry at the outcome of the election. Relying upon the support of Democratic politicians like Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom, etc. That's the difficulty, that's the problem. So in a sense, it's focused on nullifying federal law on the sanctuary cities thinking state, and the result is the torching of private property, police cars
and others. Way mo vehicles being firebombed, stores are being looted, attacks on police or ramp and vandalism, blocking freeways, flash bang grenades are being used, et cetera. Because the Democratics politicians in LA are more or less incentivizing this behavior by not enforcing the law and by declaring LA a sanctuary city and a sanctuary state. To me, it's unbelievable this is happening, but it's it's what democrats do. They threw a childish, tampered fit when they don't get their way.
The election went the wrong way, so Democrats want to nullify what happened. Continue with your calls eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven. As we speak, Governor Newsom is meeting with law enforcement. Issue of statement that we can handle this. Forget what you're seeing on TV. We can handle this. Bill Cunningham, with you every Sunday. Well,
let's continue. This is the first time that the National Guard and the state's been put under federal control since nineteen ninety two, and of course that was in Los Angeles. By the way, the LAPED is reporting that a total of ten people have been arrested in the California riots. I don't call them protests. Protests are not fire bombing cars and looting stores and attacking police and vandalism and blocking freeways. I'm looking at the video of this that
appears to be a riot to me. Doesn't look like a Martin Luther King Junior protest. To me, it looks like a riot. And so far there doing everything in their power not to arrest anybody to cause more difficulties. And the crowds are probably no more than I think three to five thousand in a city of some approximately four million live in the city of Los Angeles, about
twenty million live in Los Angeles County, et cetera. And the it's unusual to have the president deployed the National Guard under federal authority without the request of the governor, but it's happened before, likely is going to happen again because our cities are melting down by any objective criteria, whether it's law enforcement, the failure of public education, the lack of jobs, the lack of family structure, high taxes, lots of regulations, just social debaucherous misbehavior is the order
of the day. Plus demonstrators are setting way Mow self driving cars on fire as a protest. They maybe they think that Elon Musk has somehow involved. He was a favorite of liberals, then he became the devil itself, and after the disputes with Donald Trump about a week or ten days ago, you'd think he right now he's a man without a country to live in because the liberals don't want them now the conservatives don't want them. Nonetheless, just go back to the telephone calls. It's awful, it's
not good. And I pray this does not spread beyond Los Angeles, which may go. This is the third day
it's building. Right now, it's almost dark in Los Angeles and the clashes erupting, and the CNN keeps calling it a protest as there's massive fires and as I announced about two hours ago, there was a report from a law enforcement official, John Miller, and CNN about eight thirty nine o'clock that this is going to energize the one hundred and twenty thousand members of gangs in Los Angeles to loot, to burn, to burglarize, and to rape into
free shoes of their locations in various Nike stores because if you hit nine point one, the police aren't coming. And this is one of the cities in California, very hard to carry a concealed weapon or have any weapons
of any type because it's California, for God's sakes. The only flags flying in Los Angeles right now are Mexican flags, And isn't it somewhat odd that there's thousands of Mexican flags flying all over Los Angeles now and supposedly these illegal immigrants don't want to go back to Mexico, but they're flying the flag of Mexico. You don't see too many American flags being flown. And hopefully this thing can be contained over the next several hours and by Monday
or Tuesday Wednesday, things will get better. Let's go back to the calls and if a line becomes available, number to call is eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven, and let's go to fred in Wisconsin, the home of the Badgers and Fred and Wisconsin. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham showing Fred, how are you?
Oh?
For a while, Bill, I'll tell you what a divine intervention to even get through to you. I had punched the numbers like thirty times and I finally hung up, And you said, no, did your father just die of cancer?
Well, I'll tell the story next time and on Father's Day. But I received when I was in law school, I got a call from my father, who I had not heard from in about fifteen years. He left our family a terrible alcoholic. He fought in Guadalcanal, etc. Came back, found alcoholism for about twenty twenty five years, left a darling wife, my mother, four kids. Never saw him again. Near death about fifteen years after that. This would be in like the late seventies. He called me out of
the blue and said, Billy, this is your dad. And I said, how do I know you're my dad? And I asked him a few questions and he answered him correctly about my little league baseball coach and all that kind of I said, what do you want? He said, I'm dying of lung and pancreatic cancer. I'd like to see you before I pass on. I said, let me think about it. What's your number? He gave me the number. I called back about an hour later and I said, I said, I won't call you my father. I won't
call you dad. What I will say is you warn her father to me in my life, and I will not be a son to you and your death. I wish you well goodbye. Next call was to my mother. I said, Mom, you can't believe he just called me. He said, I know, Billy, it was your dad. I said, yeah, what happened? He said, he called here and he wanted to talk to you. He wants to see you, and I gave him your number. I hope you don't mind, I said, Mom, no, I don't mind. So about two
more weeks went by. He called me again and said, Billy, the doctor tells me I have a week to live. I really would like to see you to explain things. I said, I wish you well, goodbye, hung up on him. Years rolled by. Years went by, and I got involved in the sports bar business, a Willie sports cafe in the Midwest. I founded him and worked and an old man came up to me and said, can I talk to you and people did that all the time. I said sure. I sat down with him. He said, let
me tell you about your dad. And I looked at this guy. I said, you knew my father. This is twenty five years after that conference. This is about ten fifteen years. I said, what you knew my dad? And I said, I do you know my dad? He said, well, I was like his best friend for a long time. And I said, well, what happened? He said, well, he said that war broke him. It killed him Guadalcanal, he said, Ewajima, He said, in your father's job at ewo Jima was to pick up the parts of blown up US marines,
put them in body bags and identify him. I said, oh my god. So that went on for weeks. He said he came back. He couldn't handle it. It used to be called PTSD, and he just couldn't fit in and he felt so bad, and he wanted to apologize to you for not being a father to you as he should have been. I said, oh my god. In other words, he got into the bottle because he couldn't couldn't live with the nightmares. And so I felt his about two inches tall, and I said, to my dad's friend.
I said, I'm so sorry. He said he really was hurt when you wouldn't meet with him. And from that point on, I said, you know what I got to do is get on the air and talk about what I should have done. What I wasn't mature enough to do. I was too angry, and what I should have done
was go meet with him, let him apologize. I'm a practicing Roman Catholic, and if Jesus on the Cross could accept the thief on the left on his left side to welcome into heaven, surely I could apologize to a father who was so torn by a war he couldn't be a husband and a father. And I felt terrible
about that. So every Father's Day, what I want to do is tell my listeners that in the living years, if you got some problem with your father, and let's face it, men act up more than women in the living years, please reach out one more time so you don't do what I did.
And so that's kind of the brief story.
Yeah, my brother did for a tourist in Iraq with one hundred and fifteenth fighter Wing out of Madison. It's I don't know what's I come from. A big family. I'm sixty nine and retired. Bill my son is in Milwaukee County Sheriff Swat member detective God bless them.
Yeah, he's Uh.
I worry about him every day. But you know, back in the sixties when we had the riots here in Madison, which I don't even go to the Madison period. I'll go to Farmer Fleeton. That's it. The geese fly over Madison upside down because it ain't worth pooping on. They're crazy up there. But they called in Racine swat back in the sixties, you know, when they had the riots and they showed up and they had axe handles for the times and they used them so they were never
called back again. But uh, it's uh. I just can't believe what's going on here. And I think you hit it right on the head that this is going to spill out every every every spring we get close to summer when the kids get out of school, well the first day out on summer vacation, they're burning vehicles down the lake front Milwaukee. They just they're absolutely crazy, and this is what's going to happen. Now summer's here and I I don't look forward to uh to I don't
go to the cities anyway. But it's some things are gonna happen that are going.
To be very I'm looking right now.
A k T TV has a helicopter, probably a drone up and there's fires all over Los Angeles. National guards got to stop it, and it's going to go on and and it's because there's no enforcement of law in blue cities and blue states. And what we have here is the nullification of a national election. And the mayors and the and the governors have sanctuary cities and sanctuary states.
The Mexican flag is flying all over Los Angeles, and the Mexicans are here illegally fly the Mexican flag, and they don't want to go back to Mexico.
They want to stay here. Yeah, it's unbelievable.
They best stay in the cities bill because they don't. They don't want to know what's even gonna happen. You come into the Midwest, it's a problem with a lot of rednecks. Year a lot everybody hunts. I bohunt, I rifle hunt. I take three months off off out of my life because I'm retired.
I love my hunting.
I fill the freezer with Ducks and Venison. Uh, it's we'll hold our own bring it well.
What I'm what I'm saying is it's at some point if fred this is gonna is going to peter out, it'll be of several days. The media keeps calling it's a protest, whether it's Rodney King or any excuse to riot, or whether it's the behavior of officer Chalvin Uh in Minneapolis who is trained to do what he did. Whatever
it is, there'll be an excuse to ride. There's one hundred and twenty thousand gang members in Los Angeles using this as an opportunity to loot stores, commit crimes, do other things that gang members do, and that's the name of that tune. And LA is going to sink out of this. But I'm watching now that the Mexican flag is flying all over all over LA when the residents that are rioting don't want to go back to Mexico, and I'm watching this on I guess it's drone coverage, helicopters.
I don't know if they're up anymore, but it's it's disgusting, and now there's convenient excuse for the failure of their policies, and that excuse is Donald Trump for doing exactly what, by the way Bush forty one did, and the same thing that democratic governors have gone in the past to put down put down the rioting. And this is not a protest. There's thousands of people committing thousands of felonies, supposedly at a time where the crime rate is down
according to the media. Whenever I have on John Lott of Crime Prevention dot org, what a great guy he does the research. Crimes committed are way up, but enforcement of the law is way down. And we care more about crimes committed rather than crimes prosecuted, because you know, the stool of law enforcement has three legs. One are cops,
two are prosecutors, and three are judges. And in many blue cities and blue states, the cops can't do their job, the judges don't enforce the law, and prosecutors free of criminals. And so as a consequence, we have what's happening tonight in Los Angeles. The precursor for other riots was police misconduct, allegedly. Now this precursor is the enforcement of law by federal officials in blue cities that want to nullify federal law and not have the Feds enforced federal law and their
cities in their states. Same thing happened repeatedly in the nineteen fifties and sixties when Democrats in the South did not want black folks to have civil rights, and the Democrats in the South then did not want to enforce federal law in Mississippi, Arkansas, Georgia until the Feds Eisenhower and Kennedy and Johnson got the National Guard to go
into escort black kids to public schools. The Democrats did not want black kids to be educated, and as a consequence, fifty or sixty years later, once again the Democrats are saying, let's not enforce federal law. In fact, gas stations are being torched. I'm looking at this drone footage. There's a concern that's going to be this is going to spread. The stores are going to be looted, and of course the Democrats are going to blame Donald Trump for the
arson taking place. Right now, LAPD Chief is saying things are getting increasingly worse and more violent by the hour, and he fears what's going to happen overnight. Largely it's dark right now in LA That's when things get worse, and the police are completely overwhelmed and incapable of enforcing
state law, much less federal law. And this all began on Friday, when about twelve to fifteen ICE agents arrested thirteen of the worst of the worst withoutstanding murder warrants, and there were fifteen hundred demonstrators who gathered around the police vehicles that would not let the police move, and they call for laped back up and it didn't come because Karen Bass says they're a sanctuary city, sanctuary state, We're not going to assist feds in enforcing federal law.
Sounds like something George Wallace, the governor Alabama, would do.
Take a short break, and later on we're going to put a call into Jeff crue Air and also do Ali Bradley of News Nation, because she had a report on News Nation that talked about Ali Bradley did about the gangs in Mexico and how they're fueling so much crime on border cities and border states, and Jeff crue Air is going to spend some time his columns are a town hall dot Com about how the blue cities and blue states are failing and they're not getting any
better because the voters keep putting the same ones in charge that are causing the problems. Now they have someone to blame named Donald Trump, who's simply trying to do his duty and enforce the law. Forty nine minutes after the air Bill Cunningham, the Great American with you every
Sunday night. I think the next twenty four hours would be critical in Los Angeles, as Donald Trump is moving as quickly as he can to save Los Angeles from the policies of liberal Democrats and the repeat of nineteen ninety two during the so called riots involving Rodney King, in which there were so many police officers that were killed and injured, the businesses that were damaged that some of the statistics there were sixty three people dead, twenty
four hundred injured, twelve thousand arrested, two point three billion and adjusted to property damage. It was awful. It's terrible, and to nip these things in the butt is required. And of course no one would be worse than handling democratic riots and democratic city than Karen Bass and Gavin Newsom.
That'd be the worse. So we anticipate that hopefully what's going to happen Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will be less and less, less and not more and more and more, and hopefully it will not spread to other cities controlled by Democrats, incentivizing the news media and others to call these protests when they're riots and recognizing as the media
will not. This is the failure of Democratic policies, declaring la in Chicago and Cincinnati, in New York and Atlanta and austin Texas as shall we say sanctuary cities, but Texas is not a sanctuary state. And the same thing is true, of course in Wisconsin and Minneapolis. Terrible circumstances where the policies and the failure of the Democrat Party is available for all with eyes to see and ears to hear.
Has nothing to do with Donald Trump.
They want to blame Donald Trump for the riots, and all federal agents want to do is enforce federal law, and it's very difficult to do so, shall we say, in blue cities in which there's no cooperation with the local police agencies to assist law enforcement. Donald Trump wants to impose his will and the federal law in a city which is part of the United States of America, but which more and more wants to have state sovereignty is declared by Gavin Newsom. Where federal laws do not apply,
that's called that's called chaos, that's called nullification. Of the twenty four election when we elected Donald Trump, one was illegal immigration and two was tariffs. He's imposed both. He's not exactly what he promised to do. Which our policy is extremely popular throughout the whole country, but not in blue cities controlled by blue state governors. So we'll see
what happens down the road. Coming up, I'm going to put a call into Ali Bradley of news Nation to talk about what the gangs are doing in Los Angeles and other cities and other states and how they're causing some of the turmoil that we see. Plus later on as the Great Jeff crue Air talks about what's happening New Orleans in Los Angeles relative to the failure of democratic policies and democratic states, and it's likely to get worse and not better. But I'll be with you, of
course next Sunday night, we'll see what happens. Likely not good, but with the grace of God and prayer can be effective. Please say a prayer tonight for the city of Angels because it's run by a bunch of socialist fools controlled by anarchists and Antifa.
Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday.
Else Willie.

There was one report there was going to be a powwow, and now that the Trumpster says no powwow. So we continue to follow that but without objection. The greatest success that the Donald has had is on the southern border. You might recall for a long time, for a couple of years, the Democrats were saying, we need new laws, we need billions, and the number was twenty billion dollars
extra on the southern border. We need detention centers, We need more administrative judges, need more lawyers, more due process. Otherwise the border will continue to be in collapse. We elect the president all of a sudden, there's a trickle coming across and now we don't have the problem we once had. The Democrats want an increase spending. Quite a bit to go done. And the one person from News Nation that's been there every day, every week, every month,
every year for a long time was Ali Bradley. And Ali Bradley welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And first of all, Ali, where does life find you this Friday afternoon? Where are you now physically if anywhere?
Hey, Bill, thanks for having me. I'm just outside of McAllen in the Rio Grand Valley sector, heading home to the Del Rio sector where I live. So yeah, spend a lot of time downe at the border, and I do got to make a correction here at the gate, Bill, because you said that the Democrats wanted more detention facilities. That is not true. They wanted more processing facilities. They weren't trying to detain people. Remember, they were trying to
process more individuals into the United States. So that's a little bit different right now that Trump administration does want more space for detention. So that's a little bit different from this administration versus the last one. But you talk about that trickle, we've seen a ninety five plus percent decrease. I will say this, We got the main numbers which are up slightly over April by about four hundred for
the entire month, now still historically low firm may. I don't want it to get twisted that I'm calling out the Trump administration for the numbers going up. But when they want zero border crossings in full operational control and the numbers go up, not a great look, right. You
want those numbers to continue to go down. When you're surging resources and creating these national defense areas and DoD skin in the game, and there's all these three letter agencies running around the nation, you expect those numbers to continue to fall, not climb. And we did see them go up a tick from April to May. We're averaging about three hundred and eighty nine crossings a day at the border right now, so they are still seeing some issues.
But again it's important to note too, it's business as usual down here at the border. The reason why it became a news story is the border patrol, who's been around for one hundred and one years, was not able to do their job because they were tied up processing and transporting thousands of people who are self surrendering. Now they're going after the godaways. Most of these three hundred and eighty nine divisuals that are crossing every day, they're
trying to evade. They're in camera from head to toe. They're hiding from law enforcement. This is the old cat and mouse game. Got border patrol and law enforce and are used to down here at the border. And this is exactly why they.
Exist as far as that policy.
And I want to dive into this a bit deeper, because the Biden administration wanted processing centers in order to disperse millions around the country. Is that correct? And now that's changed. Put some meat on those bones. What was the policies, say a year or two years ago?
So we talked about you know, you came out strong in here talking about how we need a new president right to fix the border. That's kind of what made the change. Not necessarily any laws, which you're right there have no new laws have been passed. Some executive action has been taken by President Trump, of course, but the reality is the big change is that they're actually enforcing
Title eight with consequences. So that means if you cross over and you're not eligible for asylum, you get removed, You go through a quick process, and you're removed right now. Under Biden, the reason why they needed processing facilities is because these individuals were coming over by the thousands, not three hundred a day, thousands a day. We sought upwards of twelve thousand nation wide in a single day at the peak of the crisis.
So we were seeing we.
Were being inundated during that time. So they were processing them and they could not get them to see a judge in time because there were the sheer volume of people. So they had to process them and then turn them out into the country right and so they might have a court date five to seven years out. I'm talking to a Russian draft dodger right now who's about to marry a US citizen whose court date is not until twenty twenty seven, and I met him three years ago.
So you know, that's the reality of these processing facilities were what the Democrats and what the Biden administration was advocating for. We saw all these soft sided facilities pop up, these kind of makeshift facilities. Those were not capable of
detaining people. Those were not detention facilities. Those were welcome facilities essentially that process people and then they turned around and they were released into the country to a trans bo hub and then they were free to move about the United States.
Right.
Well, the difference is the Trump administration wants bed space for removal, not bed space to process. So the detention facilities are necessary, and they're different. You have to have kind of a jail setup versus a welcome setup, not the same thing. A facility where you're processing people is not the same setting as a facility where you're detaining and holding people. So right now, that's the struggle. They don't have the facilities to hold all the individuals they're arresting.
They arrested over twenty six hundred people in a single day twice this week. So you've got to have bedspace for those individuals. Right So, you have sheriffs joining in a two eighty seven G program, all these different entities across the United States jumping on board to help the Trump administration avail their resources so that they can continue to detain and house these individuals who are up for
that extedited removal. Now, removal takes time. It's not just you grab them and you put them on a bus and they're off. You have to go through checks and balances. These are case by case scenarios, and so you have to have detention facilities. That is not something that the Democrats were advocating for. They were advocating for more space to hold individuals who had crossed the border seeking asylum.
Hally Bradley of News Nation, there was a story in the Washington and Posts a few days ago and they were perplexed as to why fentanyl related deaths are way down in the United States, And in the body of the story it talked about, well, the main reason is that fewer and fewer illegals are coming across the southern border as mules. And secondly, the cartels have not yet
changed their tactics to avoid being detected. First of all, of course, you know from quite familiar with what the cartels are doing to get drugs across the Southern border. Have you sensed on the southern border that there's less drugs coming across to begin with?
Now, just the.
Reality is the easiest way to put it, is, with less people crossing, less interactions with people, you're going to have less drugs coming. The drugs don't float across on their own, coming over in drones at some point. Probably we're probably going to be seeing more of that because we know the cartel has shifted from some of their dji Chinese rones to French agricultural drones that can wield pounds. So are we going to be seeing things like that?
Probably because guess what, Congress still has not gotten an answer in over two months as to whose jurisdiction and authority it is to actually take down cartel drones that are incursions. That are incursions in the United States. Trump administration has essentially ignored the cartel drones. They have not given out a response or guidance as to who should be shooting those drones down, So nobody knows. So drugs to be coming over on drones undetected, Drugs to be
coming over with individuals as god aways undetected. So there are still people that are crossing the border that are remaining undetected. Right, there's going to be drugs coming in that way. Then there are the conversations about are the setanol drugs and precursors already in the United States that we're here for the last four years, so they don't need to move as much across the southern border because they were already moving into the United States when we
weren't looking. So those are all conversations being had because the cartel didn't go for making billions of dollars. They're making thirteen billion dollars a year according to Congress, just moving people into the country illegally. So when you're seizing forty two million pills out of Nogallas alone in twenty twenty four, what do you think that they got through their business? They operate as a profit and loss ten
to twelve percent. So if we see forty two million of their pills, they got in a lot more that we don't even know about. They probably have a little cushion that they're sitting on right now, Bill and then yeah, they're gonna pivot. It took them six months after Title forty two when we put those so called provisions in places, and they found out we weren't really enforcing Title late that they would still be able to send people across.
And then bam, December of twenty twenty three, record breaking month of over three hundred and two thousand encounters. So it takes the cartail time to figure out what we're doing. But again they have to high ground because they thought their drones up every single day. We were underneath one and I turned around and looked at DPS and I said, you guys going to take it down? And said, no, we don't know who can. We're to patrol. Said the
same thing, nobody knows who. And then God says, hey, we're down here supplementing DHS, so DHS can let us know what they want us to do. But DHS hasn't told that's what to do. So everyone's like the Spider Man meme. Everyone's pointing at each other, you know, with you nobody wants to take these troops down. Are they wielding bombs? What do they got?
Right?
And so it's a safety issue, it's a national security issue. They're right above us. We're sitting ducks. And again the Trump administration sends out a statement to us. In the response is saying, you know, we take all national security threats seriously, and you know we're keeping America safe. Well, what's the guidance who's taking these drones down? No one right now. So Mexico's operating pretty freely if.
You ask me.
Well, the argument is, of course he is. President Trump has spoken directly with Claudia Shinebaum. Who's the president of Mexico, and she is told the Trumpster, do not allow any of your troops on the Mexican territory. But that's a different story.
Those but those are drones that are making incursions. Those are on US territory.
Though, and they can carry forty to fifty pounds. I don't know how many vatanyl tablets is forty to fifty pounds. It sounds like thousands of tablets. And you're saying that the confusion as we sit here is so strong on the southern border as far as shooting them down, that they have dozens or hundreds of drones every.
Day that we know about, some we don't know about.
I would imagine lots of drones and Arizona and Western text has come across and no one's watching it at all, and we don't know how many drones are coming across.
That's a new technology.
Yeah. Well, and during kind of the peak of the crisis, when things are really bad, there were sources that were telling me that they were seeing up boards of one hundred drone incursions in a single day in the No Gallus sector of Arizona. And so, I mean, we reported that that was out there, and so you don't know who's wielding you know, who's manning these drones, what their intentions are. What are they zooming in and getting agent information their name tags or are they getting DD information?
Are they looking at our systems?
What are they doing?
But when you talk about how many pills is fifty pounds pharmacists that I've talked today, there's about fourteen hundred and thirty five pills and a pound depending on what it's cut with, right, that's all nuanced. But you're looking at upwards of seventy two thousand sentanol pills, you know, in a single drone drop. And so if that's the case and we can't shoot them down, what do we do there?
You know?
And so we're kind of sitting there holding the bag, quite literally, and nobody knows whose responsibility or even whose you know, authority it is. And I mean it probably comes down to the FAA, because the FAA controls the airspace, right And so that's the situation down here, is that Congress Laan Systemani has asked May March twenty fifth, say hey,
you got thirty days, give us some guidance. We're in June now, and I asked them yesterday, they still did not get a single response from the White House, d O, D DHS, or the FAA, And so they want guidance on what to do because law enforcements down here told me to my face they cannot take those drones down. They do not have the guidance or the clarity. And so it's wildly problematic. And the White House even agreed
with me yesterday, and so it is problematic. But you know, obviously we're waiting to see what kind of measures are taken and what kind of guidance is set down from the White House on that.
And it's been since margin it's been two and a half months since March. You know, I would think, sitting here in Cincinnati, that the President Donald Trump would give an order immediately to shoot down foreigners dropping drugs and god knows what else from drones penetrating American airspace. And almost similar to what Biden allowed, happened. A big hot air balloon from communist Red China floated across the country and Biden did nothing. This is contrary to the Trump doctrine, isn't it.
I would think so, I mean, he goes back to when Trump first got elected, and those agents and soldiers actually took on fire from the cartel on the Mexican side, and the Trump administration actually didn't say a single thing, and agents and law enforcement down you were actually pretty frustrated that he didn't kind of go to bat for them and go after Mexico for that issue. And that was very early on, I believe that was back in February.
And so there have been a lot of things down here regarding the cartel that the administration has kind of made interesting moves on, and that includes not meeting the Warres in La Lenia cartel across from al Paso as terrorists organizations. That is one of the most dangerous cities on the planet. Warres as the top ten city for
the last decade, the most dangerous deadliest cities planet. Yet their cartels that are running their show are not designated as terrorists and dat Vance couldn't give us an answer on that either, said, hey, we might designate them later. And so there are a lot of questions that people have when it comes to the activity and come, you know,
combativeness against the cartel. What's the conversations with Mexico, What behind closed doors are you know, as being said because a lot of people are concerned that there's not enough done against the cartel right now down here.
Lastly, Alie Bradley, uh, is there a sense the cartels, which are multi, multi billion dollar operations, run at least northern Mexico and maybe all of Mexico.
I mean, I would say there's one hundred sent chance that's the case. I mean, when we were walking with the caravan, there were you know, twelve MS thirteen gang members in my caravan alone that we were down in Tapachula. There the cartel is present everywhere. You've got Familia Mitcheulakana down deep south, You've got all of these different factions of the cartel. And then you have what is directly across this other border that continues to grow. You know,
you have CJNNG right across from where I am. You have the Cartel de Golfo, you have Sinaloa. So all of these different cartels are spreading their tentacles deeper into Mexico, and the DEA and the DJ will even talk about that,
how much more powerful the cartels continue to get. Now, the issue right now is they don't have a lot of people that want to cross into the United States and give them a lot of money because they're just going to get turned back around and they have wasted their money now, right, So the cartel is spending their time right now growing and pivoting and yeah, fighting each other for smuggling routes because those routes are a lot more lucrative and valuable right now because they aren't able
to move as many people or products. So when they do find a route that is not busted by law enforcement, that does not camera routes, does not have issues for them, they're going to battle over that route so that they can use it to move their people and products nefariously into the United States. So that's why they were wielding bombs on their drone. They were bombing each other, and they were stealing each other's migrants and doing all these
crazy things against each other. But on the South side, that has not led over into the United States yet, but that is certainly a factor that they need to make their money. That is their young guys. Right they were making, as I said, thirteen billion dollars a year at the peak, and so you think they just gave up and said out, we're going We're good. We got
the stock under the bag. We're all right, no, you know, so everybody's kind of waiting to see, not if, but when they make a move here, so we'll see what happens, you know.
Lastly, Ali Bradley of News Nation, it took about four years to get into this mess. It's going to take several years to get out of this mess. I saw Home and Tom Homan the other day talk about this is going to be a ten year process, and I just hope we have time before something really ugly transpars. But Allie Bradley of News Nation, you're the best of what you do. You're not out of work yet. Away was concerned Trump would be so successful you'd have nothing negative or report on.
But that's not the case. But nonetheless, yeah, are you busier now than you've been or less busy?
You know?
If I can be honest, and this is probably unpopular to say, my job has gotten substantially harder under the Trump administration. Because they want things to come out as they want them to come out, right. They want to say, look, we're doing this, Look we're doing this. Look this is what America, you know, make America great again. So if we scoop them on something they don't like that. So
right now it's very hard to get information confirmed. My sources are actually scared to leak information because they don't want to get polygraph So it's actually a little bit tighter of a ship right now for me to do my job. But I am doing my best. I am, you know, kicking things around, seeing what I can find, talking to my sources, talking to law enforcement as much as I can. But access to things. I've gotten a
lot more access to border patrol, which is great. The border Patrol's not seeing a lot of problems right now, right so there are different things you have to figure out. The problem is now in the interior, can't put toothpaste back in the tube. But you know, eleven million people walked across our border, and so that's the fight now is on the interior and I'm down on the south side of things and everything is a very close hold,
and so I'm doing my best, you know. But any tips anything like that, Always appreciate it coming my way.
Ali Bradley, You're the best of what you do, and thanks again for coming on The Bill Cunningham Show.
And Ali have a great weekend and you're a great American. Thank you very much, Thank you, sir.
God bless we'll talk soon.
God Bless America. Ali Bradley of News Nation, the best there is. There's the truth, and the truth will set us all free. Come live with you every Sunday night, Billy cunning In. Ali Bradley, News Nation is better than just about anyone else. Is These drone's flying over dropping off drugs and god knows what else and fueling the riots tonight of course in Los Angeles, in which police are being told to stand down, let this thing wear itself out. LAPD is completely overwhelmed and as a consequence,
we're not prepared for what's going to happen. I think overnight and on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, I pray to God, I'll say a prayer to un to Saint Michael, hoping it doesn't transpire. Much like the George Floyd riots are much like what happened to Rodney King or other circumstances.
These are opportunistic street criminals committing crime because no police are going to respond to anything happening other than trying to provide cover for what's happening on these immigration protests, and it's kind of odd that so many of the rioters and protesters are flying Mexican flags on the streets of LA proving Donald Trump's point. And they want to fly fly the flag of Mexico, a country they don't want to go to. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday.
Know Bill Cunningham, the great American, of course, one of the great columnists, and I love his stuff at town hall dot com. It is the great Jeff crue Air. Jeff crue Air is headquartered in New Orleans, unfortunately, and he's down there for all the prison breaks, all the riots, all the ICES flags and by the way, the pickup truck with the ICES flag, that guy the media didn't want to say it was associated with terrorism. There's ICES flag mowing down people. There's a clue Sherlock, kind of
like in Colorado. We don't want to say anything bad about Mohammed Solomon even though he's yelling kill all the Zionists and he's burning Jews. But nonetheless, is it really a hate crime or not? We're gonna have to investigate it further. But Jeff crewe Air, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. You have a call him up A few days ago. Democrats fixate on Trump but ignore the voters. Whenever Harry Entton of CNN, which is of course I watch it so you don't have to has a pull
up and it appiers. The middle class is like with Donald Trump and against the Democrats can't figure it out.
Explain that to the American people.
You know, Bill, good to be with you, Thanks for having me.
Yeah.
I think Harry Nton is constantly bringing poll numbers that are causing Democrats' heartburn because there's no leadership, no vision. I mean, Democrats are offering what the American people don't want. I mean, his transagenda is unpopular. I mean, the their agendas is not connecting. I mean all the Democrats seem to want to do is hate on President Trump and focus on Trump. The American people are saying, hey, you
know what about us? And Trump is focused on the American people and we've we've got great results in four plus months.
Bill.
And this is with with no help of Congress. I mean it's President Trump on his own and his administration getting all of this done through executive orders, through you know, his megaphone. I mean, he is accomplishing this single handedly. With some good administration and officialities. God now and thank god. I mean, I can't imagine where we'd be if Kamala Harris were the president right now.
Well, you look at this a trans agenda something I don't understand. Martina of Rotelova, one of the great tennis stars of all time.
She's up there with the greatest of all.
She's saying, look, as a woman that kind of has spent my life on gay rights, lesbian rights, whatever it might be, LGBTQ plus rights, I don't get the trans agenda. I don't want men playing in women's tennis. And that's Martina of Rotalova. She said, we didn't sacrifice so much
for this to occur. But whether it's the state of Oregon or California, off they go and they continue with this agenda, and moms living in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana and Louisiana and Tennessee, they don't get it at all, and they're hanging their hat on that hook.
I don't get that.
I don't know if I go to a doctor Jeff Creerr and say, you know what I identify as a blind man, take out my eyeballs, what would the doctor say to me?
You know?
Identify I'm blind, take out my eyeballs. Would the doctor do that?
No, the doctor would not do that.
I would hope he would not do that.
But you know, uh, the only thing when you mentioned Martine Vatarlova, I also thought about Caitlin Jenner, I mean, aka Bruce Jenner. He thinks she thinks that this is a radical agenda that's gone too far, and and obviously the American people do. So they're either pushing a transagenda, they're they're advocating for gang bangers and human traffickers and spousal abusers. Dan In Salvador kill mar Abrego Garcia. That
seems to be their focus. I mean, they're they're busting into ice detention facilities and getting themselves arrested, and they're all radicalized with this, uh you know, pro Hamasa movement, and I don't think I don't think that's popular.
I don't.
I don't think they're they're connecting at all. So let the Democrats keep doing this bill. They're going to find themselves making history and actually losing seats in this upcoming midterm because that's the road that they're on.
I think how about anti Semitism, the most qualified VP for Kamala Harris would have been Josh Shapiro. And of course, unfortunately, from a Democratic perspective, he's Jewish. And I know at the time in July and August, well, we Democrats say we can't nominate a Jew for high political office. And I'm Chuck Schumer, who also is a Jew, kept his mouth shut. No one's talking out. Okay, Josh Shapiro, you know, he's more qualified than Tim Waltz. Tampon Tim, for God's sakes.
But he was marked off the list because he was Jewish. And then his home was firebombed by a pro Hamas supporter, the home of a Jew firebomb with his wife and children there. And on top of that the attack outside the Israeli embassy, and on top of that what happened in Colorado, and the next event, and the next event, in the next event. The party of anti Semitism is
the Democratic Party. And I'm watching this right. Well, explain to me how that they continue to go down the road not just to transgender rights and open borders, but anti Semitism is of the heart and soul of modern Democrats.
Why it really, it really.
Is uh And and that's that's shocking that the majority of Jewish voters are still voting Democrat, because I mean, that is what the Democrat Party is advocating, no doubt about it. I mean this, this deep Palestine and pro Hamasa movement is definitely anti Semitic, and we've seen a massive increase in attacks against Jewish Americans and it's it's unacceptable. So, you know, kudo's to President Trump. They're cutting funding from
these universities that are very anti Semitic. We shouldn't be giving billions of dollars to Harvard and these these institutions that are not only anti Semitic, they're anti American and indoctrinate did on educate. So I think all these left wing universities should be cut off. By the way, a study was done though, of the one hundred commencement speeches of these top one hundred universities, only four were given
by conservatives, four out of one hundred. So that's just one indication of how left wing these institutions are.
In a democratic mind, that sounds pretty fair. On the issue of cutting cutting medical well why are there four? But on the cutting medicaid, that's all we hear about cutting Medicaid. We're cutting Medicaid, cutting medicaid. And so the White House put out a statement on the Big Beautiful Bill a few days ago, and it said the following. The Medicaid programmed devised by Donald Trump is a safety net for every eligible American.
Citizen who needs it.
Goes on to say, yes, we do want to cut Medicaid to one point four million illegal immigrants from the program, one point four million, who, by the way, it's illegal to get it. Also, we want to cut four point eight million able bodied adults on Medicaid not choosing to work or volunteer, go to school, et cetera. That's six point two million people we went off. In fact, it was so controversial that Bill Clinton as president put in work requirements to get food stamps welfare. If you're able
to work, you got to work. And so the media does not report on six point two million illegals or those that are fat, lazy, and flatulant won't get off they're fat asked to do a damn thing. Bill Clinton said the same thing, and that was progressivism by the Democratic perspective. But the media does not report all I hear about Medicaid cuts. Medicaid cuts, Medicaid cuts. If you'd ask people, do you think one point four million illegals
should get medicaid? The answer would be no. If you say four point eight million Americans that refuse to work, that aren't disabled or raising kids should have to do something to collect their government, most people would say yes.
Can you smell when I'm cooking?
Yeah?
I mean, you know, it's amazing the lands of the Democrat Party has gone in a super left wing direction. You are one hundred percent right. Bill Clinton had a very conservative position in today's dan age on welfare, on the border. I mean, some of his policies would be considered trumpion today. So the Democrats have gone from that to this crazy nonsense where they're you know, really advocating
for trans and illegals and hamas. I mean, it's a party that has lost touch with the American people, lost touch of its roots. This is no longer the party of JFK, no longer the party of Harry Truman, not even the party of Bill Clinton. I mean, it's a party of radicals, Hakeem Jeffries and AOC. And you know, in my column I pointed out that the leading candidate for President twenty twenty eight. Bill is Pete Buddha Judge, followed by AOC. Please that is scary.
No, it isn't. That's what they got to do.
Pete Boodajudge did a great job as the Mara South Bend. He did a great job as head of the FAA Department of Transportation. That guy had things under control, with the train wrecks in Palestine under control, with the planes flying into each other.
That guy would be wonderful as the president.
Now, let's deal with a comm He wrote about ten days ago about the city that care for God and I live in little Cincinnati, Ohio. In Cincinnati in nineteen seventy we had half million residents. We've lost at least forty percent of our population. The schools could be attended in the nineteen sixties and seventies public schools and get a quality education. None of that's true anymore. There's going to be twenty thousand shots fired in the city of
Cincinnati this year. Fortunately, they're going to hit five hundred targets, so nineteen five hundred shots will be fired, not hitting anybody.
But then I read about New Orleans.
You say, the last Republican mayor of New Orleans was in eighteen seventy two, during the presidency of your leases as Grant. So, the Democrats, have you been one hundred and fifty years of uninterrupted control of New Orleans.
How are we looking?
Well, We've gone from a city that had six hundred and twenty seven thousand people, that was in the top fifteen in the nation as far as population. At one point we were number two in the nation, behind New York, and now we're at three hundred and fifty thousand. I mean, basically, we've lost almost half of the population. People have fled Democrat policies. Democrats in New Orleans care about changing street names. They don't care about improving the condition of the streets.
They want to change the names of the schools. They don't care about improving what is taught in the schools. They want to tear down monuments, but they don't care about building new buildings and bringing in new jobs. It's all this woke nonsense crap. And of course we've got the violence that we deal with, we've got the educational and economic issues that we deal with, all brought to
you courtesy of Democrats. There's not one Republican election official in New Orleans, and I speak with the authority bill our station WGSO was located halfway between the terror attack that occurred in the French Quarter a few months ago and the prison break that just occurred a few weeks ago. We're right in between those two incidents, so we're there.
Well, I read that the previous mayor, Ray Nagan, convicted of New Orleans mayor federal bribery, money laundering, other corruption, served ten years in federal prison. Of course, then the current mayor is LaToya Cantrell. Tell me the current history of the mayor LaToya Cantrell and are having sex with? The security guard explained that one.
Well, you got to call her by the right name.
It's LaToya the Destroyer Cantrell.
You go. So she is just coming back from another junket. She has been literally all over the world on the attack base. And whether she gets a group to pay for her travel, the taxpayers have to pay for her security. And of course one of her security was her bodyguard that she started an affair with. And she actually had the affair in a city owned apartment that she wouldn't vacate, So she was taking over a city owned apartment that's supposed to be used for like dignitaries, like the president
of France. She was using it for her, you know, relationship with her bodyguard. They had to take away the key and kick her out of that. It took forever. She's been just an embarrassment on so many different levels and competence.
Just you know.
So we go from a guy that went to prison, to a guy who took down all the monuments, to a woman that is concerned that she's concerned about climate change, and she goes to Cutter and Dubai and Rio, but she's not concerned about street conditions and the crime in New Orleans and the terror attack and the prison break. I mean, we got prisoners on the loose and she is on another junket, I mean, traveling all over the world for climate change.
How does she get re elected?
How does the same policies with different persons continue, not just for year after year, decade after decade.
We're talking since.
Ulysses asked, Grant was the president and the population of six hundred and twenty seven thousand was in a nation that eighty million people, and now you're down like Cincinnati, about half the population and We're three at thirty five million people. And this is the same thing as Chicago unbelievable. The status of Chicago unbelievable, Los Angeles unbelievable, Atlanta or Washington, DC.
It's unbelievable. And I read the story about Sheriff of Orleans Paris Susan Hudson was elected on a very progressive platform and explain some of the policies. And of course the jail break happened like one o'clock am on a Friday. It wasn't noticed for seven or eight hours. Nobody knew there even gone. But what about this one being the sheriff.
Well, I've interviewed her before, Bill, and I can tell you she is a super progressive. I interviewed her about the Ferguson case and she was very critical of the police. She was pro protesters, you know, when they rioted there. And then I'm thinking, wow, this is a radical. She was our police monitor. And then she got herself elected. In the aftermath of George Floyd. All the most liberal
candidates got elected in New Orleans. We had a Soros funded Da LaToya the Destroyer got reelected, and then this lady got elected as sheriff. She knows nothing about being a sheriff. She was all concerned about transformative justice, equity, gender roles. She just wasn't concerned about keeping people behind bars.
I mean, she wasn't.
Concerned about addict with staffing other than that had fourteen million dollars. She had fourteen million dollars in reserve that she didn't spend to fix the jail cells and that they would close properly and make sure she had enough staff. She had one guy in charge. The night of the break, he went on a food break and that's when the prisoners decided to escape. There was nobody watching, and the
cameras weren't working. It was like an Epstein situation. And they didn't find out empty day until eight hours later and these guys were gone. So it's pathetic, I mean, in competence, just unimaginable and competence. And that's what we're saddled with down here.
It's life and death.
Because I know it's been several months, but the terrorist on Bourbon Street killed fourteen innocent people, injured thirty five pedestrians in horrible ways. He drove on Bourbon Street because barricades were not properly installed on the street. It was incompetence upon incompetence, resulting in death's, disease and destruction.
Is there any hope? I think the answer is no. I live in Cincinnati.
You can't find a Republican with a search warn in Cincinnati, and the same thing in Chicago. The top forty America, they're all controlled by left progressive mayors and law enforcement. Is there any hope do? I always have hope, But is there any hope for the cities?
Well, I mean that there's not much hope for a Republican getting elected. The last council member who was a Republican was left office in two thousand and six, So we've had nineteen years of like no Republican in any position, and I you know, there's always hope.
Bill, We got to have hope.
We got elections coming up. I hope they'll wake up. I'll hope they'll vote for somebody confident. I hope so Home will come along, not corrupt, that's always But the reality is that it's probably not going to happen, and they're going to elect some fool who's going to continue this losing streak that the city's on Unfortunately.
It's a great city.
It's a world class city. It's a city with amazing attractions that other cities don't have. It's got culture, charm, history, but it's got the worst leadership. They're just terrible, terrible leaders here.
You can say that almost every American city, we get what we deserve, and nothing changes until the electorate rises up and says we can't live like this anymore. Cincinnati had one female Republican named Liz Keating, and she was wonderful, and there's nine council members. She was voted out of office immediately and put social activists and progressivism is in charge. And I don't care what American city, it's the same thing.
Jeff Crewe air radio talk show host, author, also Townhall dot Com and Jeff good luck in New Orleans.
I wish myself good luck in Cincinnati.
Thank you, Bill, good to be with you.
You're a great American. Let's continue with more there. It is what changes until you change many I think Democratic voters are suffering from Stockholm syndrome.
Look it up. Bill Cunningham, the Grand American, live with you every Sunday night. I lived on a commercial.
U Bullie cunning in Thanks for listening to s rather more minute Sunday night, and we pray to God there's not the loss of life, not the loss of businesses, that the behavior of these rioters.
These are not protests.
