Willie through You by Choice Hotels, Econo Rodge and Roadway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast Exodens, the one and only Bill Cunningham. Right, Billy Cunningheady, Great America, Welcome this glorious Sunday night, and great to have you with me. You're all concluding our Fourth

of July celebrations. I went to four or five them and enjoined them all, and a lot of parides, a couple of baseball game, mL soccer. Enjoyed it all. God blessed the United States of America. God's represented

him on Earth. One of my first guests in an hour or so is going to be Scott Powell of the Discovery Institute, going back to the beginning and why the Fourth of July is so important and what it seeks to say, because I think it's fair to say that most Americans coming out of high school or college do not have a deep sense of love and commitment to this country because it's not taught in a positive way, garbage in, garbage out.

And if you're taught that America is racist, sexist, homophobic, and it's not worthy to exist, you might not want to volunteer for the military, or become a cop or a firefighter, a corrections officer, or work in the field office of the FBI US Marshall's service, be a corections officer.

Why work and try to save a country not worth saving? And one of the most starkest realities today is that about sixty percent of young Americans between the ages of eighteen and thirty sixty percent would not fight to save America if the country was invaded Red Dawn style. Think about that number. Over half of young folks do not want to save the United States of America because it's not worth saving. How's that possible? How's that? How's that possible?

Unless you were taught that at a young age, And so many kids grow up dysfunctional today, dysfunctional family with all the TikTok generations and free love, free sex, whatever it might be, abortion on demand, the plan B medication, whatever it might be. That it's like a sin and crime free environment. So you get out of high school and college, and you might owe in college two or three hundred thousand dollars, and you say, hey, what's in it for me? I took English studies, I took women's

studies. You mean I can't get a job in geography. I can't get a job in English literature, you know, And I owe money? What do I do? You become disillusioned and the zone out, either with drugs

or alcohol. It becomes medicine. So that's the problem. Scott Pala's column addresses in about an hour or so about how the country was formed, what the founding fathers gave up, and now they put in the constitution the seeds that would allow future generations of Americans to redefined the country and to change things. And god knows, since seventeen eighty seven, and since seventeen seventy six, the country's changed quite a bit. And so that's Scott Powell coming up

about an hour or so. And also later on as the Great Michael Mike McDonald of the Catholic League dot org got a great column up about patting the United States on its back for getting rid of slavery when most of the world did not. And still there's more slaves alive today than ever before in human history. Numerically there's about forty million according to the UN. And the parts of the world that deny and stop and angry about slavery are the parts of

the world that have liberal democratic institutions, Judaeo Christian institutions. And he kind of pats America on its back for getting rid of slavery when most of Africa, Asia, South America did not do it. Of course, so without issues plus more plus we continue to reverberate on the issue of Joe Biden.

I would note that the reporting today is that the Democrats are still planned to meet tomorrow on Monday with the King Jefferies, and there's a large group allegedly thirty to fifty He might sign a letter urging President Joe Biden not to stand for reelection, but of course keep him in power. So that's not going to change. And if you can't run for an election, how in the

world can he stays to president? One might ask. One might ask the question, if you can't run for the office because you're not mentally alert, how can you hold the office? So and then also I understand that the Senator Mark Warner of Virginia has canceled a pow wow with US senators. They're

all coming back on Monday. And I don't know what happened behind the scenes, but whatever, he was told by the staff of Joe Biden that the pow wow with Senator Warren Warner of Virginia is not going to take place. So we'll see what happens. And House Minority Leader Keem Jefferies is going to hold a behind closed door meeting with top Democrats to discuss the prospects on Monday or Tuesday, and we'll see what happens. I say, live with it.

Let the Democrats stew in their own juices. They laid down with dogs, you're going to get up with fleas. And they knew going in that Joe Biden four years ago was not mentally alert. They knew that they had to rely upon the media not to report on his lack of mental acute in his finility in the media didn't report. And now that we had the great debate June the twenty seventh, what about ten days ago, Believe it or not, now the media is shocked. It's unbelievable. We didn't know about

this. Are you kidding me? And how many cuts have I played for you in the past. On one hand, Joe Biden showing his senility and on the other hand, the Democratic at chieftain supporting him completely in the media bias was unbelievable. I think in a sense, Joe Biden just destroyed himself and the media by his performance. Soon the twenty seventh and is sit down with Stephanopoulos, who's a Clinton stooge from ABC News, wasn't much better.

Whatever you felt about it going in, you felt the same way coming out. And senility is not something that gets better with the passage of time. He's not going to be better in three months than he is tonight, and in a year or two he's not going to be better then that he is now. The person we elect November the fifth and sixth is going to serve until January of twenty twenty nine. Does anyone believe that Joe Biden has the

mental abilities to serve another four and a half years in office? Of course not, but for the media complicity with the big lie that Joe Biden is mentally competent. Without that complicity, Donald Trump would now be completing his second term. And of course, to Hunter Biden a laptop from Hell, which the FBI had about eleven months before the election. Also, if that had been accurately reported by a fair media as being real, then again, Biden

would not have been elected. So the media played at silly games to make sure that Biden won and Donald Trump lost. And they're back at it again trying to prop up and assents Joe Biden. But the American people, about eighty percent of us now say that Joe Biden is not mentally equipped to be the president. If it is not mentally equipped to be the president, why

is he holding the office? Well, it's simple. The Democrats have to go through a process the next two to three weeks to determine what to do. And allegedly the NATO leaders are coming to Washington on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. The week after that's the RNC and Milwaukee, and then the Democrats have their pow wow in Chicago, which should be great to watch the middle

of August. So the twenty fifth we may go over briefly, but here it is the Democrats right now as I sit here, in the first fifteen minutes of the Sunday out extravagance and the Democrats now of the power tonight to take away the presidency from Joe Biden. If they don't do it, it's

on them. Twenty fifth Amendment easily says that when the Vice president and the majority of the cabinet sign a petition saying the president is not mentally or physically equipped to handle the office and make that filing in the House and the Senate, the power of the presidency passes immediately immediately to Kamala Harris. She's the acting president. And if the president the president, that's her. She's the

president now. And if four days after that the old president in this case an adjective and a noun would say, you know that's wrong, he can request a hearing or a trial as determined by the House and the Senate as

to whether or not he's fit to continue. And at that this entire time acting president is Kamala Harris and Joe Biden is stripped of his power, and then the House and the Senate vote after hearing determined by them or a trial if Joe Biden wants to go forward that you know he can't he is capable of serving, and then there's a House vote. If it's two thirds Senates

two thirds. He's out, and Kamala Harris is the President of the United States, not just the acting president, but the president, and of course she'd be the nominee of the party to run in November. So the Democrats clearly have the power to install Kamala Harris in the presidency tonight by midnight. Why don't they do it? Number One, Kamala Harris herself is a clown with a capital K, and they know she's completely ill equipped to hold the

office, that this is unbelievable. Number Two, it would split the Democratic Party, which they want to continue to maintain power and keep control of the checkbook until twenty twenty nine. January twentieth at twenty twenty nine, never twined the rock in a hard place. I say, live with it. You

built it, it's yours, you destroyed it, it's yours. Joe Biden has destroyed the media in himself, and the massive conspiracy has now been laid bare, the conspiracy to protect Joe Biden and to reelect him in twenty twenty

four and then within six months give the presidency to Kamala Harris. That was the plan, but for some unknown reason, maybe the hand of God himself said let's have an early debate June the twenty seventh, before the before the convention in Chicago, and he was so bad, it was so awful that average Americans, the sixty million who watched, finally said, you know, I didn't know that guy. I can't believe what's happening. Believe it or

not. The great bulk of the American people are not like you and I that pay attention to what's going on the world every day. I get up every morning, every afternoon, and every night enveloped in the media from Red State to NEWSMAX to town Hall. I even watch Morning Joe and MSNBCC. You don't have to. I watch everything. I can sop up all the knowledge I have to relate it to you in talk radio. And we all knew two three years ago, maybe four years ago, his mental decline was

going to be severe, and a metastasized on June the twenty seventh. So the conspiracy of silence, the massive conspiracy that seemingly Joe Biden was mentally competent, continues, and after that, there's no turning back. The liberal media

today cannot defend them anymore. Less it looked like reporters from North Korea and even now in the morning Sunday morning talk shows, they were enveloped with concerns about Joe Biden's mental state, and most of them were saying, you know what, he's got to go. Well, if he can't hold if he can't run for the presidency, how does he hold it? The answer is, it's up to Kamala Harris to get together more than half of the cabinet

officials and therefore she becomes the acting president. Is that what you want? Would you want her to be the acting president? Maybe conduct the NATO meetings later this week? Man, I don't think so. No one wants that Democrats have no good way forward and they deserve to suffer. And what happens happens. And to his credit, Donald John Trump has kept a relatively low

profile. When your opponent is committing political suicide, please do not stitch any of the wounds, stay out of it, go fishing, go golfing, have fun, but don't respond in any way because the Democrats are committing suicide. And it's really incredible. The twenty fifth Amendment is there. Kamala Harris could pull the plug on Joe Biden. By midnight tonight if she wanted to, and she's not done it yet. Number One, she's ill equipped to

hold the job. Number Two, it was split the Democratic Party, and of course some have said, let's have a quick primary. That's never going to work. So Joe Biden, because of Hunter Biden, and because of Joe Biden, and because of Valerie Biden, they all want him to stay in office to keep the perks coming. I wouldn't know one thing kind of offbeat just a bit. Did you know that in the last few years Joe Biden and Joe Biden have taken out eighteen second mortgages or home equity loans on

their three properties they owned. They're running out of cash, running out of money. That was reported in the Daily Mail. It's an incredible story. If this was anyone other than Joe Biden, the media be all over it, because how come a president who last year made six hundred and some thousand dollars total from all sources is essentially refinancing his home properties at higher interest rates than they were a year or two ago. Why do that unless you need

money? And the story points out that the reason he needs money is that the bag man has lost the handles hunter. Biden is not traveling around the world getting money for the Big Guy, and he's under quite a bit of scrutiny. So what's happened in the last few years is that Joe Biden has taken out mortgages on his various homes and put the money in his pocket to the tune of millions of dollars because he can't handle the cash flow is not a concern. Isn't that a big deal? I think it is. So

let's continue. We'll take some calls and proceed. We have four lines in use and we've got three lines available for you. Number to call is eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven eight six six six four seven seven three three seven. Do you have sympathy for the Democrats and the position politically that they put themselves? Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night if you

have time tonight. This is a two minute a side. Just google Daily Mail and the headline is Joe and Joe Biden have been using their Delaware house for fast cash refinancing twenty times with loans totaling four point two million dollars. They're using their Delaware homes as a ATM, taking out multiple mortgages refinancing Delaware properties a total of three of them, astonishingly thirty five times. He's lived in two houses, had an income last year, according government records, of

about six hundred and three thousand dollars. But they also own a summer home at on the Beach. They scooped up in June twenty seventeen, twenty seventeen as he was leaving the vice presidency for two point seven million dollars that property, though his no mortgage is attached to it at all. Where'd that money come from? This? These thirty some mortgages suggest that the first family needed

money fast. He's a career politician, that column says, and that total income they paid they earned six hundred and twenty thousand dollars last year, paid taxes for one hundred and forty six thousand, and they said they had investment income, et cetera. But I don't know about you, but if you take a home equity loans in equity home equity loans more than three dozen times,

that might raise a few red flags. Maybe the bag man's been out of business and they've also it took a fifty thousand dollars loan against a mutual fund in IRA type things. They reported assets between one and two point six million and liabilities of only eight hundred fifty thousand dollars. And every time they did it, they have to be thousands of dollars in charges. Right, I think I've read financed once or twice. It's about four to five thousand

dollars. Maybe they're all waived. And I don't understand how that isn't a little bit of a red flag for the sitting president. And this cod this story Daily Mail. Just google Joe and Joe Biden mortgages. They have a long list of the mortgages. They have about nineteen mortgages totaling four point two million dollars. And the house they're living in now the fancy won two point six mil they paid cash for. I don't know, can't answer it. It's out there. Take a look, see what you think. So let's

continue the uh this. If you listen to way Allen Root and I anytime in the last few months or a few years, each of us believe, and I certainly do, that Joe Biden is not going to be the nominee of the Democratic Party whether it's this week or next week or the week after, when the polling gets even worse and the conspiracy of silence has ended and the media suddenly discovered they were shocked by his performance on June the twenty seventh,

They're going to have to turn to Kamala Harris. They can't take Gavin Newsom. He's a rich white guy that's destroyed the state of California, because Kamala Harris has their own role in that coming out of California. Nonetheless, it has to be Kamala Harris. Anyone else would not be accepted by the base of the Democratic Party, who are African American female voters who vote ninety percent or so for the Democrat. So we'll see what happens down the road.

I got hot fudge, sunny bets all over the place. Many of my political friends say, no, he's not going to leave that Jill and Hunter and Valerie and Jim won't let him leave. But on the other hand, his mental decline has been so serious he can't stay in office. And if that's the case, Kamala Harris could become the acting president, and that means she runs from the presidency, which would make her even more difficult to beat. We'll talk about that in a moment. We have calls from all

over the country. Take a few on the other side. Number to call is eight sixty six six four seven seven three three seven. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, with you every Sonday. Before I take thousands of calls from millions of listeners, I wanted to point out that once again California has

slunk into the toilet bowl of life. The most visibly the most beautiful state in the greatest country, greatest nation in the world, The United States of America has been run by clowns the last fifteen or twenty years, and I can't believe that Kamala Harris, with their record of ineptitude, would desire to keep going up the ladder of unsuccessful positions. I note that a couple days ago, once again, a small business owner had his mini marked destroyed by

a flash robbery mob near the airport in Oakland. The video is unbelievable. The station owner reports that there was at least one hundred thousand dollars in damage to his store. It was a convenience station in one of those mini marts like a wah Wah one hundred thousand dollars in damage. About one hundred individuals through social media organized at three am heist. They broke into the store.

It's a huge store. They destroyed the inside of the store. They stole about one hundred and fifty thousand dollars in merchandise inside the store, cleaned it out, including twenty five thousand dollars in cash. There were two employees there that were threatened, called police nine one one. Oakland police showed up nine hours later. Nine hours later. And this comes on top of a story out of San Francisco where small business owners on Tuesday went on a two hour

protest by shutting their stores down. Small business owners of restaurants, convenience stores, clothing stores, doctors, and dinner's offices went on Strikeland Tuesday from ten am to noon to draw attention to the city's skyrocketing crime and their story. After story of San Francisco and Oakland small business owners saying we can't take this

anymore. Have you seen the video of downtown San Francisco. What it looks like it is emptied out, goes some homelessness and drug use, fornication, defecation, urination, open needle open drug air markets, and now these stores are loot at one is open and then one hundred individuals show up and calls maybe a quarter of a million dollars in total damage to destroy the store, kick in the refrigeration unit, steal every autumn, not hung down, and

they take take the money, and the police show up nine hours later, nine hours later. And if you want that kind of activity in your city, then make sure Kamala Harris becomes the next president. If we just google these stores, unbelievable. One small business owner said that there's been at least a twenty one percent increase in violent crime. But now we don't bother reporting

thefts and looting because the police never show up. The Oakland business leaders won a one thousand police officer increase with more support from the state and federal government. They're calling on Oakland, including the NAACP is calling upon the City of Oakland to declare state of emergency and lock it down. There won't be any stores left. And coming out of California are Gavin Newsom and Kamala Harris and Nancy Pelosi. That's what they want to do to your city crime. He

said, we don't even today report crime. We don't bother with it because the police never show up, and we can't have a gun to defend our store because if we do that, we'll be charged with murder. And so small business owners that backbone of this economy are small business owners are being decimated in blue cities. I'd also point out that in the city of Chicago over the Fourth of July weekend, eighty seven people were shot. Eighty seven and

THENAACP there went to declare state of emergency. Ninety five percent were black, even though forty four percent of the city is black. So there's complete meltdown of law and order in cities. Blue cities, blue states are the worst. I live in Cincinnati. Cincinnati is a blue city, but it's in

a red state, you have a shot. But if you're a blue city and the blue state, if you're in if you're in I don't know, Atlanta, if you're in Washington, d c. If you're in Memphis, if you're in Saint Louis, if you're in Chicago, if you're in Milwaukee. At the western large cities, our magnificent cities have been destroyed by democratic politics. Can't send the kid to school, you can't walk the streets, you can't shop anywhere. The stores are being looted. Massive robberies and rapes

is the order today. But you know, as we all know, crime is down, right, crime is down. No crime is way up, but criminal arrest and prosecutions are way down. Cops are demoralized. And those who cause this crisis, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom, they all say, we need more power for each of our institutions that we control. We can't take it. Let's continue. Thousands on the

old millions are listening. We have Rolling in Texas. Tea is for Texas and Teas for Tennessee and then Rest in Indiana and Rolling in Texas give the American people tonight rolling a full report. Thanks first time Colored Texas and as a veteran, I did enjoy my quotes July weekend. But you know the

immediate the Democrat establishment has a problem of Joe Biden problem. So whether it's the party, the media, or the constitutions, what I'm saying, and get your thoughts on it is the House Republican should not support the twenty fifth. What I'm saying is go for the impeachment. We will support you Democrats if you impeach Joe Biden. You can get them on the border, student loans, paper play, whatever you need, anything, but they should support

a twenty fifth exactly twenty fifth Amendment. No, you want our support, We're going to impeach him. Let's get it done the right way and rolland if that happens, rolland the twenty fifth to implement Section four of the twenty fifth Amendment only requires the Vice president and majority of the Centate, majority of the of the cabinet officers. That's all it takes. And if that and those are all Democrats, and if that small group says we hereby declare that

Joe Biden is mentally incompetent of carrying out the office. That the second they filed that petition with the House in the Senate, he's out of office. And Kamala Harris is the acting president. So that's the quickest and easiest way of getting rid of the guy. The problem is the Republicans. If Joe Biden then says, after four days, if he says they're wrong, my vice president and I want a trial, then there's a trial held quickly in the House and the Senate and so and if that happens, God knows.

I do not want Kamala Harris to be the president of the United States. I don't want Joe Biden to be the president between a rock and a hard place. And I don't know, do you want him? Look at this way. If he would say, I'm stepping down as a candidate, but I'm keeping the office till January twenty. If he's stepping down as a candidate because he's senile, how going to be the president? I mean he's sick, you can't. And that means if he would say I'm on, which

I think is almost impossible. When you listen to him and Hunter and Jill and Jim, it's it's Biden trying to protect his family. So he's not gonna do anything. He's not. They're gonna have to fortune Hunter Biden. And it needs a pardon because Hunter Biden is not going to federal prison. And so you know one thing, ronin if you have a son, But if I had a son that eaten my help, I would pardon my son. I've not spoken to anyone who said I wouldn't pardon my son. And

luck the Chips far where they may. I love my boy. If you have a son, you love him, and if you and so he's got to hold the office to pardon Hunter. And let's say he strikes a deal with Kamala Harris to say you got to pardon Hunter, and then you got to pardon Trump. I don't know where the hell we are. I mean, we're in the land of chaos, complete utter chaos. Unfortunately. Yeah,

I don't know what roland. What's the state of Texas today? Every time we in the Midwest, here about Texas, I see millions and millions of illegals. I see Austin the capitol and complete melta. I see massive lawlessness in the major cities. And Texas and Tennessee I think are beautiful. I love North and South Carolina. I have a home in Florida. That's where I want to be. What's the status of Texas today? The problem

is that we have our major cities are democratic run. So thank god for folks like myself to live in the big cities and all those rural errors to keep the state in the right track. So, yeah, your major cities are all democratic run, collapsing Tony, Houston, Dallas, Austin, Yeah, collapsing. So that's a problem. And what you know, that's what's the resolution. The resolution is that that people get the government they deserve.

And I don't see the cities are magnificent. Cities have been destroyed by democratic politics. You know, whether it's the educational institution, lack of respect for law enforcement, liberal federal liberal judges don't send people to jail. Well whatever, my I don't see a resolution. I say, let them sink further. Yeah, And unfortunately, like I said, a lot of entrance here

in Texas and the major cities. That's what's kind of keeping the balance and the people safe here in the major cities of Texas, because there's enough of us to keep that it was all blue, Yeah, Texas would be. It'd be California. It'd be California, absolutely, yes, sir. Well, what would happen in a red section? What would happen in the red

section of Texas? If a hundred mobsters and gangsters and looters and thieves descended upon a store to cause hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of damage and then the police are called to show up nine hours later. Would that happen in a red part of Texas. I don't think absolutely not. I think one, you got enough citizens that would right, would stand up. Yeah, and law enforcement had many of those folks too, that would actually do their

job and have some support. A good thing. We have a good governor abb it would protect me. I like your we have balance. We have issues, but we have them balanced. And yes, Patrick's very well, he's good too. So yeah, all right, thanks for your calling. Don't be a stranger. Thanks, thank you appreciate it. Let's go to Rust in Indiana, the home of the Hoosiers and the Sycamores. Rust. Go ahead, Hey, mail, how's it going? You know you want

to talk about JD. Advance? I texted him. He was on one of the ABC morning shows today, And whenever a Republican shows up with Kristen Walker is kind of like a cross examination a Democrat shows up in a softball time. What are your comments about JD. Vance? Well, he was on last week too. I've tried to get in last week. But you know, what about this scenario? Okay, would you support a convicted criminal to be president of the US? What? I you're you're you're, you're

you're upras of the court. Well, it depends on what it is and Donald Trump's case, I would, but it depends, Like an know, Joe Biden did exactly the same behavior, and his own attorney generals said, Robert Hurr that he's mentally incompetent and can't stand trial. I don't know why

in the world last year that wasn't a big deal. If you have the attorney general Robert Hursay that you you're you're an old guy and you have no memory in your senile how can you get a Texas El Paso on criminal indictment. On the other hand, you're the president. How does that work? Okay, well, look look at this scenario. J D. Say. You know, Ohio is a Keith state in the presidential elections, right, well, not so much anymore. Used to be, but not so much.

I mean with the Ohio's Trump country, so it's not state. If he takes Ja d Vance as his vice president, Donald Trump I'm talking about. Okay, say Donald Trump goes to jail, No, he's not going to Does that mean j. D Vance could become president? No, because the president cannot be incarcerated because he's the commander in chief. And that's no,

that will never happen. That's ridiculous. The president cannot be incarcerated, and that prosecution in the City of New York was a joke, as declared by the former governor, Governor Andrew Cuomo said among even Bill Maher not exactly. Conservatives said that was politically motivated, and that's sick and it's sad. By the time they get done sorting out the recent Supreme Gorge's decision, Trump's

going to be set freeze and should have been in the beginning. Let's continue with more, and let's go to Marion and Saint Louis, Missouri, the home of the Cardinals and the Blues and Marion. Go ahead on the Bill Cunningham Show, go ahead, thank you. I want to thank you for all the years of your show. I love it and I'm right with you. But something that bothered me a long time now, and I got to get somebody that I can't get many people to go along with just because I

think evil is influenced influence seeing their opinions. But you were talking about slavery, and I want to I sincerely believe that slavery and abortion are the same thing because the mother decides everything and she's a slave owner. So the Supreme Court is saying, hey, these states decide what you want to do. Sorry, that's a person, and I can't see it other than slavery.

No, Mary, it is sick time. It is sick. The Democratic Party is running on a platform of killing as many healthy unborn babies as is possible, and the media plays into it, saying, oh, you know, it's about a women's health care decision. How's the healthcare for the baby? How's that looking? And not real good? By the way, Marion, were you a fetus at some point in your life? Yes, I

was. Guess what, the great American I was a fetus. In fact, every person that's ever lived, including Jesus Christ himself, was a fetus at some point. And the Bible talks about I knew you at the moment of conception. And the running large political party on the idea is we're going to kill as many healthy unborn babies as is possible. Is disgusting and I would hope the media would call them on it, but they don't because the

media is in the pocket of the Democrat Party. But abortion is killing unborn, healthy babies about ninety seven percent of the time. There's an unborn, healthy baby wanting to be born, who's feeling terrible pain after about the twelfth week, and we in this country allow it, which is a condemnation of those who practice it. And there's a special place in hell for abortionists and for people like Nancy Pelosi who has the power to stop it and refuses to

do so. According to twenty twenty three numbers, there was one million babies aboard it last year one million babies abort it, which is more than in

twenty nineteen. So abortion is omnipresent, abortion is ubiquitous, and those who do such things either must confess their sins and let the chips fall where they may, and if they don't, I mean, I like every archbishop and priests in the country to a practicing a Roman Catholic like Joe Biden, who's a fake, to be told you can't receive the sacraments because you participate in the killing of healthy unborn babies. I want want some archbishop to do that

if possible, but we got to run because of time constraints. But you've heard me speak on that before and I'm not changing my opinion. I was a fetus once and thank God my mother allowed me to be born, Thank God, and every person alive today, including Jesus Christ himself, at one point was a fetus who wanted to live. So to have an entire political party telling large numbers of women that killing babies is healthcare is not health care

to the baby. Let's continue with more ten fifty one. Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night. I don't know if you saw this over the weekend, but President Joe Biden, pretending to be a supporter of black Americans, which he is not, calls the firing of a talk show host on a

black radio station. Her name is Andrea Lawful Sanders. She admitted during a cno interview on Saturday morning that Biden's team sent her eight questions to ask ahead of his interview with her, and when she made public the fact that she read the questions from Joe Biden's communication director on her independent radio show, the owner of the station fired her. W RD, a Philadelphia based black owned radio station, is part of ways with its female host, after she revealed

that the White House provided her with a list of predetermined questions. Are you kidding me? I mean, Joe Biden cannot handle a radio talk show host questions, and I have empathy for this woman. She was put, which mean a rock in a hard place. She wanted the interview with the president, but to get the interview she had asked predetermined questions, and then when the owner of the station found out that she had done that, he fires

her forthwith unbelievable. Secondly, riots have erupted this evening in France after left wing coalition projected to win the plurality of the seats in their so called parliament in Paris, that the left is rioting again. Unbelievable. I have empathy for a radio talk show host. Seemingly a nice woman who had bad judgment should have not agreed to the questions. But is that a reason to fire

somebody? Joe Biden got another black woman fired. Bill Cunningham, Scott Palell coming up next, Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday Night, Willie Brough You by Choice Hotels, Econo Lodge and Roadway in Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book at Choice hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized gives radio's best. The recipient of not won but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast excellence. The one and only Bill Cunninghead, Bill

Cunningham, the Great American. The fourth of July many considered to be a great American holiday, and it has been besmirched and defamed over the years by leftist extremists who think of that our country is not worthy of salvation, not worthy of being saved. Fourth of July is a special day for all real Americans. Scott Powell has written a great column which is everywhere rediscovering the meaning

and authority of July the fourth. One great sentence quote. If more Americans only understood that they're both the true errors and the protectors of the birth of the freedom of the world, July fourth celebrations might well take on new dimensions, potentially igniting Americans from all walks of life to sacrifice more time and resources and join the ranks of the growing patriot movement dedicated to saving America's freedom of

this critical time. And God knows these are critical times. Scott Powell, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show, and I once you. Part of your column deals with the freedoms American has as individual persons as opposed to government when governments are untethered to a constitution, that's an evil. But when Americans are tethered to the constitution and the Asians and Europeans and South Americans are not,

the party in power can do almost anything they want. Each person has power be the cause of the Declaration of Independence in the Constitution, tell the American people about about the freedoms and rights that we have taken for granted for one hundreds of years, and why the Constitution and the fourth the July fourth

is special, which is unique in all the world. Well, I think we start off really recognizing that the great vision that was cast in the Declaration of Independence, which was really the it really encapsulated this great realization that America was to be the city on the on a hill. It was to be the salt and light for the rest of the world. When it was you know, when it was first colonized, we had Christians coming to every single

colony. And in fact, you know, when you think of John Windsorp who came to Boston as a Puritan in sixteen third party on the ship called Arabella, which you know, which stood for I think something having to do with prayer. I mean, everything about these early colonists was a vision of the same pattern that was established by by Moses leading the Israelites out of Egypt to the Promised Land. They viewed America as this promised land, and they

were in the same sort of providential position. All the early colonists that were coming to America were coming because this was a promised land. And that attitude

really shaped the Thirteen Colonies largely. And so when finally the oppression of Great Britain became so great, there was a you know, there was a movement to free ourselves from this growing tyranny of Great Britain, and that was the inspiration for the Deck of Independence. But I would remind the audience also that let's just think about how impossible it was for these thirteen independent colonies that had

really very little communication with each other because there was no there was not even any telegraph in those days. You know, there was no electricity, it was nothing. And these were independent colonies, so there was no sense of unity. You know, there may have been an occasional courier going from one colony to the next, but how were these thirteen independent colonies going to over you know, to succeed in defeating the greatest military power in the world.

It was impossible, It was impossible to envision that that could happen. Well, God, in his great wisdom sent George Whitfield raised up, you know, Jonathan Edwards, who brought about this great awakening. There was a spiritual revival in America between seventeen seventeen thirty and really right up into the seventeen fifties. It was a twenty year period of revival in America where spiritually the colonies

came to feel an affinity with each other and a common cause. Had not had God not brought about that Great Awakening, I don't think we would have

had a successful war of independence. So we have a very, very profound history, and it is it must be understood in terms of, you know, God, God's role in America. Well to that's you know, when you think about South Carolina compared to Pennsylvania, to go from one place to the other would literally take months to communicate, months to walk through the bridge, to walk through the woods in the forest, and to go across the streams and go up the mountains and down. There was no way to communicate.

Nobody knew North Carolina. South Carolina and Pennsylvania or didn't know existed. And you bring out a great point that the providence, the hand of God had to be involved in this. You say, when secular forces hastened driving God out of America's culture some sixty five plus years ago, the void became filled with false idols and divisive spiritual influences. Little wonder that average Americans today feel demoralized and confused about the self destructive direction of this country. And we

do feel demoralized. We feel as if my God, that's falling apart the southern border, the city's in flame, ramp and crime. We have a currency being debased, we have fentanyl deaths, we have God knows what's happening. We have nothing close to the problems that existed in the seventeen seventies, eighties, and nineties. And we've come, in a sense full circle. And here we are, as Americans wondering what is the fourth of July.

I would think average high school students today have no conception of what General George Washington he went through in order to keep the country together. Defeat that British Empire was impossible, but for the hand of God, it couldn't have happened just for a moment or so. Scott talk about the military campaigns of this tall, skinny surveyor named George Washington with bad teeth who forged the nation. Talk about the defeats and the victories that he had very few victories defeats.

Tell that to the American people. The most important thing to understand about George Washington is that he had this incredible faith in God, and he had other qualities. He had qualities of persistence encourage, the likes of which we have rarely seen in American history. And his relationship with God was solidified when he was serving under the British in seventeen fifty five, when he was just twenty

two years old. And it was at that time where the French and Indian War was going on in America, and the French and Indian War was a war really against Britain. You know, there was the attempt of the French to expand its territorial claim in America against the British. The British brought back. So the French and Indian War was going on in General Washington, well

he wasn't general then, washing George Washington was twenty two years old. He was a colonel and he was serving in the British Army and they were a mission was called to take back Fort Duquine up in Pittsburgh, and so they had to march from Virginia up to Pittsburgh and they were ambushed in the Monongahel Of Valley fourteen hundred troops, you know, a full battalion of troops made up primarily of British but also some Americans, and George Washington was the senior

most American officer, but he was only a colonel, so he was way down in the ranks of the British military homehierarchy. They were ambushed and the Indian sharpshooters were told, you have to shoot all the men on horseback first, because you know they're the officers, and if we can take down the officers, then we can take over, we can take over the everybody, we can capture everybody. So one by one those British officers went down,

including Braddock, the general who was in charge. He went down and he died later on, but they all went down. There was one man standing who they couldn't seem to shoot, and that was Colonel Washington. He was the last man on horseback, and he was on his third horse because he had already had two other horses shot out from under him. But he got on the third horse, and by that time he's rounding up the troops to retreat because there's no way they're going to prevail. They need to save their

lives, so they have a successful retreat. That night, George Washington takes off his uniform coat and he finds four bullet holes through his uniform, four different holes. And he realized that but for the grace of God, I would have I would have been killed too. That it was only God's intervention, God's protection that he had that saved his life. And we know this is true fact because he wrote a letter that has been preserved to his brother

praising God for saving him. From that time on in his life, George Washington knew he had the protection of God, and then he could lead the American people from the front. He could be in the front line on his horse, and he'd be protected by God. And indeed he was in all his subsequent battles in the Revolutionary War. He was a remarkable man, unbelievable. He was a He's an American Saint right right now. So many Americans

July fourth feel demoralized. What we feel confused? Were not together as Americans anymore? Dei and other chopping up cusin arts. You're defined by race, by color, by sexual orientation, and that wasn't the concept. And the most beautiful thing in your columns got pwell is the idea that an individual person can sue and win against the United States of America if the cause is just George Washington could win against the evil British Empire, if the cause is just.

No other country in the world. You can't be a brit Today or a German or a south You can't be living in Uruguay or China and walk into a courtroom and say I'm taking down the United States of America. I'm going to use the authority of the Constitution to guard my individual rights. So when we talk about Americans today, one person what brown versus Board of Education. One person can say the system is wrong. It may take me a

while, but I'm bringing it down. And George Washington was the first person that said the system is wrong. I'm taking it down. And a couple sentences in your column is so good about Ronald Reagan. And about the Abraham Lincoln, You say, Thomas Jefferson, who was the champion and wrote the Declaration of Independence, called America the world's best hope. Abraham Lincoln, whose cause became expanding freedom by abolishing slavers, called America the last best hope on

earth. Ronald Reagan said, quote, if we lose freedom here, there's no place to escape too. This is the last stand on earth. Do Americans today come out of high school or college having those feelings about our country? No, they don't, because look, we have been in a spiritual battle to destroy America and our enemies, and our primary enemies. You know, we have the Bible as sort of our guide to living a good life, to living a godly life, and most of all of our problems are

answered in the scripture. You mean, you name a relational problem in life, marriage, or anything else, you'll find the answer in the Bible. But we have an enemy, and they all also have their own play bookook and Marxism. Leninism is the primary playbook that they read from. And they have always targeted you know, they've targeted Christianity, They've targeted the family.

They want to destroy Christianity they want to destroy the family. And the third thing they want to destroy is to erase the memory of the people of the society in which they're trying to take over, erased from their memory anything of their history. And they've succeeded. They've succeeded. They succeeded for the public school system, the Department of Education to totally basically degreat America in the eyes of young children who are learning about the history of their great country. And

this is a crime. The first thing that Donald Trump should do is to defund and disassemble the Department of Education. You know, Jimmy Carter established the Department Education in nineteen seventy seven. Who in their right mind thinks that education is better today than it was in nineteen seventy seven before we had a Department

of Education. Number One, the kids have got to come out of high school and college with the deep love of this country with all of its problems, and thought they should say, you know what, wave the flag, I'm an American. We saved the world constantly from the Nazis and from the

fascists. We saved the world from communism. That flight is ongoing. You conclude your column, Scott Powell by saying, let's make the July fourth a day a celebration of our founding ideals and also a time and renewed commitment to engage and wake up everyone. We know that is time to resist creeping tyranny and political corruption and reclaim sovereignty over the precious possessions of our freedoms and rights.

Just as Washington succeeded against impossible odds by perseverance, courage, and the truth, we too will prevail. Why do you have faith in the future. I want to know why. I look around and I see nothing but difficulties. Why do you continue to have faith? Because you know the God who opened the Red Sea to deliver the Israelites from the pursuing Pharaoh's great army

and chariots, that same God is on his throne today. The God who raised Lazarus from the dead after four days being in the tomb is the same God today. The figure of Jesus Christ, who was so God's son, was so powerful that a woman who was suffering from hemorrhage for many years, she said to herself, if I can only touch his garment, I will be healed. She believed that, and she was healed. This is the same God. We have, the same God today that we did then.

I think God is allowing us to pass through the valley of the Shadow of Death, that we might all wake up and see evil face to face and say, you know, we have to stand up. We have to fight this evil, just as those colonists did in studying in seventeen seventy five when the shot was heard around the world. In Lexington and conquered, and you know where they recruited. The early patriots from the army all came out of the churches. Well, no question, it's a great column. Celebrate what

we are, wave the American flag, be proud of your country. I'm proud, and once again, Scott Powell, the column is great. It's everywhere. You're a senior fellow at the Discovery Institute, and the column is rediscovering the meaning and authority of July fourth. Scott Powell. May God bless you and make God bless America. Thank you very much. Thank you, Bill, Oh God bless you. Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, live with you every Sunday. All right, Billy Cunningham,

the Great America. Let's continue now, you know, Scott Powell has some great ideas, great column. Scott Powell is a great American, and it talks about the meaningless Fourth of July holiday based upon the popular culture and what's happening in the country today. It is not for very popular to be patriotic. In fact, in many parts of our community, you seldom to see the American flag flying at all, unless it's upside down, then it

does fly. And I'm not talking about Samuel Alito's wife. I'm talking about in general that you don't see the American flag flying. And I live in a part of the country I think is more patriotic than most, at least at Reds baseball games Cincinnati Reds at my ballpark named after me, the Great American, they sing God Bless America, the Star Spangled banner stand up.

But most of the country doesn't do that because it might be offensive. So to have someone like Scott Powell go back in time and talk about the sacrifices of the men who put this country together, I think is very very illustrative, very good. And to think about George Washington, the eyes of that guy, surviving Valley Forge, before that, getting horses shot from under him

and having four bullet holes in his soldier garments, none hitting flesh. According to Scott Powell, I certainly believe that the case is the providence of God Almighty, that the one indispensable character between seventeen seventy and an eighteen hundred was George Washington, and he died in seventeen ninety nine, terribly died because the doctors killed him, as much as he died because are the treatments given to

him. Nonetheless, as we conclude the fourth of July weekend now and many people have not worked since Wednesday or Tuesday, reflect upon what they sacrificed and what they gave and how the politicians of today look upon office is not a sacrifice but as an excuse to make money, individuals, especially like Nancy Pelosi and others who are now worth hundreds of millions of dollars. Of the Clinton or the Obamas, they monetized their office to a large extent, and that's

quite sad, but that's the way things are. I stay tuned for more coming up next. As Mary Margaret Olahan, he's written a rather definitive work on escaping the transgender cult and where it came from some great stories. I read the book very interesting and how elementary schools, high schools and colleges encourages kind of behavior when probably one tenth of one percent of the population is is a fixed with this difficulty. But she has some great stories. I'm sure

you're going to enjoy. The line becomes available. The line becomes available eight six six six four seven, seven three three seven plus later on is the great Michael McDonald of the Catholic League. Bill Cunningham, the Great American, with you and all great Americans every Sunday. Bill Cunningham, the Great American. I tell the story many years ago about the Human Rights Campaign, and the Human Rights Campaign was started literally thirty years ago in order to mainstream gay

rights and also gay marriage. The key element of the Human Rights Campaign was to bring gay marriage to the United States of America. And after the US Supreme Court decision about five years ago written by just As Anthony Kennedy, the issue was one and gay rights were secured and marriages were permitted, and the Human Rights Campaign had buildings, had a staff of six hundred people, had used rench to pay and so they said we have to get ridden out of

gay marriage is something we're going to fight about. What about trans kids? Can we sell the idea to parents, the school boards, to the media, to the general public that there's a terrible problem with children who think they're locked in someone else's body, that they're male, but they think they're female, or they're female and they want to become male, And can we sell the idea this is the next civil rights horizon And many said that's never going

to work. People are going to buy this one. However, here we are, many years later, and it's arrived, and in fact, it is an element of truth in many schools in California. They came out a few days ago with a message starting in August that if your kids are going to transition from one gender to another, so that parents will not be told

about what's happening in school, it's unbelievable. A new book is out by Mary Margaret Olihan d Trands, True Stories of Escaping the Gender Cult and Mary Margaret, welcome, I think for the first time to the Bill Cunningham Show. And so can you first tell the American people the issue itself and the death of the problem, and how we're responding to it as a government.

Yes, great to be here. So this is a book that I wrote because I was noticing just a flew of young people coming forward and saying I

was duped by this gender ideology. I was like, you know, portrayed by these medical professionals, And once there were enough of them coming forward, it seemed to really confirm what many of us have been saying for a long time, which was that, you know, when LGBTQ activists tried to say, you know, these so called transgender protections that we're trying to enact, are only going to apply to adults, We're not talking about children here,

they were not being honest. And what we have found is that media, activists and lawmakers have been very manipulative in explaining what they have been trying to enact, which ultimately we now know is transgender surgeries, hormones and puberty blockers for adults and for children in the name of so called gender affirming care.

And what these activists and media and lawmakers will say is that these procedures are necessary to save people from committing suicide, and they will say this about children very frequently. I was just looking at research from a doctor the other day who was making the argument that, even though she is well aware that puberty blockers cause very serious problems in children's bone density, she argued that the risks were worth it given that kids who think that their trans are probably going to

kill themselves if they don't get access to this. Now, that is a lie, it's not true. In fact, what we're finding out now is that when you put children on these drugs, when you put children through these surgeries, it is actually worse for their mental health. Shocking, but that's not accepted by the broader medical community right now because they're so tightly attached to

this gender ideology. And so we're in a very weird place right now where our media or medical organizations, Hollywood, the White House are all telling us that kids need things that are very obviously wrong for them. You know, when a little girl in her early teens is struggling with mental health issues, the last thing she needs is her breast removed. You know, the last thing she needs is to be put on to stosterone, which is going to

affect her body very, very dramatically, both physically and mentally. But that's what we're being told that these children need. And so part of the reason I wrote this book is because I wanted to give people a close up view of the real reported stories of de transitioners, young people who tried to do

this and then realized it was impossible. It's all in their words, it's their stories, their lived experiences, and I wanted to give it to people in a very raw way and help people understand the realities of what's going on here, because it's not care it really is and it's very dangerous, and I think that the best people to explain this are the people that live through

it, and so your book deals with that. So Mary Margaret, I cannot imagine a thirteen or fourteen year old going through a genital mutilation and hormonal therapy that completely changes their body to something it wasn't. And I could not think of any other area of life where we would allow a preteen somewhat a child under the age of eighteen to make lifelong decisions about their health. And really, the American Medical Association, the president Joe Biden, is all in

favor of of transgender rights and transitioning, always with a happy ending. There's a basketball player in the NBA named Way who played for Miami, who has a child that's transitioned from male to female. But isn't there a study from England over the last fifteen or twenty years that demonstrates that's the so called puberty

blockers and cross sex hormones and gender affirming surgeries. By the time these individuals come out the other side in their twenties and their thirties, many are extremely sad their parents didn't defend them better. Yes, yes, and actually I would say European countries are far ahead of the United States when it comes to this issue. They have recently taken a number of debts to protect kids from

these irreversible and experimental procedures. But meanwhile, in the United States, our medical professionals are very much pushing forward with all of these things, despite seeing our European colleagues and friends doing the exact opposite. And you know, as the the transitioners and my book shared with me, Uh, this is something that these kids can't actually consent to. One because they're kids, so which is not something we talk about enough. But two because they're so mentally ill.

All of them are really struggling with mental health issues, and so they're not able to give informed consent. The other thing is they're not These things aren't explained to them properly, So I don't know if everyone's familiar with the

WPATH files. The release of the WPATH files recently. That's the World Professional Transgender Health Association, a group of so called experts that are transgender doctors, and these doctors were exposed to have been having private conversations about how they knew that testosterone, for example, with cogniti, some girls to grow tumors.

They knew that the thoughtsterone was causing some girls to be infertile. They knew and had conversations about the fact that some of their patients were so mentally ill

that they could not properly give informed consent. And yet all of these things were kept under wraps until the release of the WPATH files because these so called experts didn't want to go against their own narrative, so they were knowingly pushing things that they knew were dangerous and experimental while privately talking about how they were dangerous and experimental, which is so incredibly evil when you realize the magnanimtude of

what we're talking about here. There was one story I heard that I will never forget about a young girl who underwent a double misctomy as part of her gender affirming care, and afterwards she asked the doctor, so how long is it going to take for them to grow back? So that's a girl who was so naive and uninformed about her body that she genuinely thought that her breast would ultimately grow back when they never will. And I think that's a really

good example of how our young people are being duped in this way. They're being given information that they're not fully digesting, that they can't fully understand because they're kids, and they're being allowed to make decisions that are just way over

their head. And Mary, Margaret, you would hope that we as a society advances we think we are, would say that if the parents agree to play in to the mental fantasies of a child, that there would be teachers and principles and doctors and children's hospitals and medical associations and the government that would say, we understand that you're fourteen and you think you're a male and a female body, but you cannot legally smoke a cigarette, you cannot legally drink

alcohol, you cannot legally contract to do anything. We will look after you and help get you the mental health health health that you need, but we're not going to engage in cutting off your genital parts, and we're not going to give you a hormonal therapy that changes who you are because the underlying problems that cause the difficulty in the first place would be there. Where are the adults? Where are the adults to say we will not allow this to happen.

Because if a child is confused and unhappy and has mental health issues, and about forty percent of young girls because of the social media, et cetera, have mental health issues, where are the parents? Where are the schools? Where are the doctors? Where are the children's hospitals? To saying,

let's wait till you're eighteen, Mary Margaret. If somebody's nineteen, twenty, twenty five or thirty and they're an adult and they want to make this decision, I'm saying, have at it. If you're an adult and you want to go to a drag Queen's Story Hour, If you're an adult and you want to transition, have at it. But if you're a child, why doesn't adult society say you can't do this? What where are the adults? This is a great question, and I think. You know, I sincerely

hope and I actually do believe that history. We'll look back on this moment and ask that very question when we've left this horrible period far behind us, because the adults in the room are very much turning a blind eye to the realities here and opting to go to embrace ideology over sat facts and science and what we're hearing. You know, there are certainly parents who for selfish and

narcissistic reasons push their children into transition. That absolutely is something that happens, and it's a very horrible thing, you know, when when these kids are very small. But I think what's happening more often, and this is incredibly sad, is Uh. These kids are from you know, your average secular American family. Maybe they're not super tuned in to politics, and they're at

school, they're learning about gender ideology, they're learning about it online. They're friends at school are identifying as trans or something, and so they themselves become interested in it. Maybe it's counselor at school of friends then and tells them, yes, your trance. And so these kids, let's say, like a thirteen year old girl comes home and says, mom and dad I'm not a girl. I'm actually a boy, and I need you to help me

get hormones and surgery because that's what I'm told that I need. And so these parents, you know, they love their daughter, that's their beautiful little girl. They think, what's no way in heck my daughter is supposed to get a double mus sectomy. I've known her ever since she was born. I know for a fact that she's not a boy, and I know she doesn't have masculine interest. But at the same time, they think, I don't know what I'm supposed to do here. Maybe they're afraid of the school,

and the school is telling them you have to do something here. And so what most of these parents are doing, tragically is they think, Okay, this is over my head. I'm gonna go speak to a medical professional about this. And unfortunately, the medical professionals are betraying parents. And so when parents go in trusting them and saying, look, I don't know what

to do here. This seems crazy. My kid's telling me she's a boy, what the medical professionals will say is, yep, your daughter's a boy, and if you don't affirm her transgender identity, she's gonna hurt herself, and the exact line that they give to parents, And this gives me chills every time I say it, would you rather have a dead daughter or a living son? And they say that that's a threat. There's a threat to parents saying if you don't comply with our version of ideology, gender ideology,

then your kid will kill herself and it will be your fault. And so, you know, unsurprisingly, parents think, oh my gosh, I gotta do this, like this is clearly what I like. I wish I didn't have this happening, but I got to do this for my kids. And so a lot of parents are going along with it. And I had the

most the saddest conversation recently with one of the girls in my book. Her name's Luca, and she told me that her mom was very against her transitioning, but her mom, you know, was given this line by the doctors, and so Luca's mom ultimately went along with it. And she said that when she realized, you know, after the surgery, after the hormones, she had this moment of realization, oh my gosh, I don't feel better.

I'm not happier, I feel worse, And she had this moment where she realized, I regret what I have done and I need to like undo it. And she said she called her mom and she had to say, you're right, I shouldn't have done any of this. And she said she and her mom both sobbed the entire conversation the whole time, because what she was basically saying to her mom was your gut was right. You should have

trusted it. And you know, she's very respectful about her mother, and all of the de transitioners I've talked to are very hesitant to put any blame on their parents. But in Luca's case, her mom's gut was right. Her mom should have trusted her gut, and unfortunately, these medical professionals convinced her not to and convinced her to put her child through these horrific things. So, you know, I have a lot of empathy for these parents.

Obviously, they should have made different decisions, They should have done more research. You know, they at the end of the day, they should have better cared for their children. But I think these are unprecedented times. You know, this is we're in very scary and crazy times where parents have to navigate a world where people want to they want to. I mean, at the end of the day, they want to butcher their children. And that sounds horrible, but you know, at the end of the day, it's

largely true. What do you call a doctor who removes a teenage girl's breasts by telling her it's going to make her happier when he has no idea if that's actually true. I think, you know, at the end of the day, this is very much harming children. It's very dangerous and experimental, and I God bless the parents that are dealing with all of this, because it is not a danger that our society has been confronted with recently, and

it's an absolutely terrible hurdle for them. Mary Margaret revealing the truth about transgenderism and its industry. A lot of money involved, so disturbing that transgender activists will do anything and try to hide this story because of the money and because of the political activism. Because children with mental problems now layer the other problems on top of the other problems, and by the time they get to be twenty five or thirty, they look back and ask their mom or dad,

why'd you do this to me? And mom might say, well, I was told do you want a dead daughter or a living son? And the parents are in a difficult position. They go to the doctor, to the medical industry and they say, oh no, oh no, a lot of mental a lot of mental problems. We're gonna We're gonna cut off your genitals and then things will be better. The book is once again Mary Margaret Olahan and the True Stories of Escaping the Gender cult. And thank you for coming

on the Bill Cunningham Show. Get the truth out and the truth will set us all free. Mary Margaret, thank you very much, thank you so much for having me. God bless you. Let's continue with more. Wow. Duwayne Wade has left. The basketball player has left Florida because he thinks transgender rights are not being allowed in Florida. I like to check in with him in about ten years to see what his new daughter thinks about the behavior

of the parents. Bill Cunningham, the Great American Live with you every Sunday Night. Billy Cunningham and Mary Margaret Olihan points out many things that we now live in a culture in which the behavior of transgenderism encourage, in fact paid for. The difficulties I pointed out is that if the patient if the fifteen year old girl wants to transition to a boy. In addition to that, her parents say, we agree with the quote transition in the process. And

thirdly that doctor agrees that it should be done. And then fourthly the hospital children's hospitals say let's do it. It's almost the role of the state to reach into all those organizations and say, you know what, we don't let kids that are fifteen years old to have a tattoo. We don't let kids of that age. Shall we say to contract in any way when only kids that age to get married, They can't drive a car, you can't smoke a cigarette. You mean you can have your your penis cut off? Is

that possible? And so even if the whole system is against it, she points out that many should still oppose it, even though it's a lifelong decision that has lifelong consequences and doesn't really solve the problem anyway. Let's continue with more up next. New York City's Michael McDonald of the Catholic League Bill Cunningham with you every Sunday night, Willie Brough You by Choice. Hotels, Econo Lodge and rodway In Hotels are serving up double points for every qualifying stay book

at Choice Hotels dot com. Now here's the man who's been recognized as radio's best, the recipient of not one, but two prestigious Marconi Awards for his broadcast exodence, the one and only Bill Cunningham. Bill Cunningham, the Great American. And we just celebrated and it sends juneteenth. June nineteenth, which was the date that the San Antono slaves were advised by a union officer that they were in fact free, and between June teenth and the fourth of July.

I've read many columns that indicates the real holiday, the real freedom, should be June teenth, and that the fourth of July should be taken down as a holiday because so many Americans were not free on the fourth of July, they weren't free until June nineteenth, etc. And I find that reprehensible and wrong. I don't mind having an additional holiday, many people want to

be off work. But nonetheless, we find ourselves now having to defend the United States of America against the radical left and defend America's interests in slavery, which, by the way, was strictly a democratic party function. The Republican Party was formed in eighteen fifty eight by Abraham Lincoln to stop slavery as the Democrats who imported the slaves, kept the slaves, beat the slaves, raped

the slaves, and then fought a war in my country. Declared war in the United States of America so they could keep slaves in America the Union one and then after that for the next fifty or sixty years, the Democratic Party formed the ku Klux Klan and other apparatuses to enslave more blacks and to beat them. But the Republican Party fought it like warrior poets. So when I go to the Catholic League website this fourth is July weekend, I see debunking

debunking slavery myths this July fourth. Joining you and I now from New York in the Catholic League, is Michael McDonald. Michael McDonald, Happy fourth of July, and welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And can you tell the American people the essence of this column penned by Bill Donahue With your leadership,

I'm sure about debunking slavery myths on July fourth and defending this country. Say happy forth there, Bill, Always good to talk with you, Yeah, So it's very simple, as you laid out, the radical left, the

woke progressive crad loves canceling the fourth of July. They want us to believe that, like the New York Times sixteen nineteen project states that America wasn't founded on July fourth, seventeen seventy six, a great day, but instead it was founded back in sixteen nineteen with the introduction of slavery to the territory that would eventually become the United States. They love going around talking about how the

Constitution stripped black people of their personhood even and embedded slavery into the American institutions, and ultimately that leads to the white supremacy that we see today. And all of that is just total, absolute bs and garbage. It is just this continuing attack on America. One of the things they like to point out, Bill is the three fifth Compromise, which was actually something that was put

into the Constitution as a poison pill against slavery. Right, So, when the founding fathers were sitting down in Philadelphia to write the Constitution, the South, the slave States wanted every single they couldn't vote they should count as a whole person in terms of the census, which would then give the South approximately fifty percent of the seats in the Congress. Right, just just like today,

it's all just determined by population in the states. That they wanted to count the slaves as people in terms of the census, but didn't want to give them any rights for being people. The North, on the other hand, said you don't want that's now we're not going along with this. If you're not giving them rights to be people, then they shouldn't even count in

the census. So this way, then the North, if that proposal had gone through, it would have been closer to a sixty to forty split in favor of the North, really diminishing the political power of the South, which, right, that's a huge deal. If the South wanted to keep pushing west and expand slavery without that political power, that would become significantly harder.

And so ultimately it was deciding cooler heads prevailed. It would be a three fifths compromise, Soors would maintain a little bit more of a advantage in the

House that gave them fifty three percent of the seats. Roughly in the South got forty seven percent of the seats and if you look at American history even up until the Civil War, that is huge because it is that favor, the Three Fist Compromise, giving more political favor to the North ultimately is what limits the expansion of slavery to the point that it's dying a slow death by the eighteen sixties. Right, let's go back a little bit beyond that.

Right now, in America today, on this fourth of July weekend, the UN says numerically, there's more slaves today than ever before in human history. In fact, it was the British, the English, the Americans. Western civilization is the entity in the eighteen thirties, forties, fifties, and eighteen sixties that said we got to stop slavery. It's got to end. So America was at the forefront of stopping slavery along with the Britain the others,

while other parts of the world accelerated. In fact, only about fifteen percent of the slaves that were sold by African leaders to the Europeans made it to the United States of America most one elsewhere. Correct, Yes, that's correct, And the United States was very strong. It's steeped in that Anglo common law tradition. Of actually recognizing people's rights, which in a lot of ways states back to things said by the popes in the sixteenth century on limiting the

practice of slavery. So the Catholic Church was right there really pushing that. You know, this concept of human rights, the basic decency of all humans created equals should not be subjugated. No one should be subjugated to slavery. It's a moral wrong, and that is ultimately what's the tipping point. But if you look, as you pointed out rightfully, slavery is still a functioning institution of these cultures that have not raced Christianity, Christian values that are not

steeped in the common law tradition of the Anglo Saxons. So yeah, this is a big problem. Is it's not even unique to America. I mean, even the international slave trade wasn't started by a bunch of European explorers going into Africa. You know, Vasco da Gama didn't go into African sale. By the way, we're doing slavery now and we're taking a bunch of you

with us. It was starting the African chiefs, warlords, what have you already had their people as slaves and said Hey, European explorers, we can sell you some slaves if you'll give us some money or rifles or whatever it is, the beads, whatever the hell they were trading at the time, right, So that's that's where this comes from. It wasn't like a bunch

of white people showed up and said we're taking you to America. Now, this grew out of an institution that is slavery, unfortunately, the institution that dates back all the way to the beginning of human civilization. It is just unfortunately with us. Aristotle even was like, yeah, you know, slavery,

it's been around forever, so it can't be morally bad. And that's the thing that if you go far back in your ancestry, you're going to find that your ancestors were slaves and at another point that they owned slaves. Like, it's just true, we've all done it. There shouldn't be reparations just simply because of that. Everyone at one point owned slaves and everyone another

point was a slave. So you know, you know, at some point soon I'm going to get an award as a great Irishman, and I going back into Irish history, the Brits imprisoned enslaved and killed, I would say, murdered millions of Irish Catholics over the years because they were the wrong religion.

But also the Ours were considered to be like rats and cockroaches, resulting in the Potato famine of the eighteen forties and fifties, with a specific intent by the Brits of killing as many Ours as they find wherever they could be located. And so I still have angst against London and against Britain for its

treatment of my ancestors for hundreds of years. In fact, it's reported that about one third of the Irish were killed, I say murdered by the Brits over the eighteen thirties, forties, fifties and sixties, and that was the nature of things at that point. And to get on the slave ships, there were literally thousands of African chieftains who sold their own people into slavery, and Thomas Sole points out that there were literally thousands of black Americans who owned

slaves in the South. There were about four to five thousand slave owning blacks who owned tens of thousands of slaves in the South. So to smear only America with this is ridiculous. It's all wrong. I hate it. I wish all this hadn't happen, but we didn't start it, but damn it,

we finished it. Oh, absolutely right there. In a lot of ways, what the sixteen nineteen Project Blakes to accuse Americans are doing is more probably apt in Ireland in a lot of ways, that was really the test run for how brutal you can be with colonialism, and they realized after multiple Irish rebellions, said okay, actually we got to temper this back a little

bit. But even to the point about African Americans owning slaves before the Civil War, this is actually, you know something that's very interesting, right about ten percent of the country owned slaves, about ten percent of free blacks owned slaves, So they're kind of like right on par with everyone else with what they're doing. You know. They make this big point about criminal justice reform coming out of the left to day that well, there's more black men in

prison, therefore the institution must be wrong. Well, if we're to apply that logic that the blacks own the same percentage of black's own slaves, then maybe we were more equitable back then, before we even had this crazy notion of equity. Now it's I'm reading a UN report today there's an estimated thirty million men, women and children and the world that are enslaved, physically confined, restrained and forced to work, or controlled through violence or in some way

treated as properly property. Today there's more slaves seized from Africa over those four centuries. That was the slave trade, before, during, and after America ended it. I'm proud of my country to stop it. In a sense,

I'm proud of Western Europe to stop slavery. And it did not begin America, as the country was not formed until seventeen eighty seven when we had the Constitution, and the sixteen nineteen project ignores history that the land we call the United States were controlled by the Dutch, by the French, by the British, by the Spaniards, by the Portuguese, and by the Indians, and between sixteen nineteen and seventeen seventy six, which was what about one hundred

and fifty six years, that other European nations controlled the land we call the United States of America. And when America was formed, the founding fathers, over the objections of the democrats in the South, wanted to put in the Constitution the availability of freeing slaves in this country, which was a brand new idea and shocking to the rest of the world. And in fact, we went to war Abraham Lincoln the Republican Party to stop the Democrats. And I

point this out to Michael McDonald to the Catholic League. In eighteen seventy six, when Tilden defeated Hayes on the popular vote and there was a tie up in the House in the Senate, who should be the president the Republican Party, Hayes struck a deal with Tilden who said that okay, you can become the Republican President, Hayes from Ohio, but you have to agree to get all the federal troops out of the South so that Democrats in the South could

become the brutalization once again of blacks in the South, which became the ku Klux Klan and Jim Crow laws, and that entire history talking about canceling someone

for their political beliefs. The modern Democrat Party in major cities, we've largely destroyed those cities with progressive left wing philosophies that have not been There's been no come to Jesus meeting between African Americans and the Democrats in your city of New York, or in my city of Cincinnati, or in Chicago, saying, look what the Democratic Party's done to us over the past two hundred and fifty years. And right now the cities are destroyed and because of the policies,

and the black family is destroyed because of the Democrat Party. Wonder will there be a come up and for that, oh, there needs to be one. And go just a little bit further back in American history. You know, in eighteen sixty, the best the Democrats could do they had one candidate, one candidate the essentially three they fielded that the best he could do to condemn slavery was, well, it should be a matter of popular sovereignty. We're going to let the states vote on if slavery is right or if it's

wrong. So yeah, good good luck stopping that if that's the best your party to do. And it's a shame because that continues on to this day. There's a lot of progressive thinkers on the left going back into history that essentially have said that, well, you know, the blacks can't really take care of themselves. And these are left wing individuals saying this, such as Paul Fitzhugh, America's first sociologists. He they can't take care of themselves,

so we have to have slavery. This is what essentially the left was saying in the eighteen fifties. And if you look at just like today, you're talking about the cities like look at New York, one of the least favorable environments for school choice, yeah, in the country, And that would be the quickest way to give every single American a handuff to make sure they get into a good Catholic school, a good private school, a good charter school.

But here in New York they're putting the kibosh on expanding the roles for the charter schools, and just forget about anything else involving school choice. That would be the number one The Democrats to this day continue hinue to just keep down black people, working class people, aspanics. They don't care. But can we really be surprised? They've got a demented old fool leading their party right now who said that, you know, he didn't want his kids growing

up in a racial jungle, So can we be really surprised? Can we be really surprised? The best hope is that we get good common sense leaders in Washington that can set the tone and say, listen, we got to get back to the values that made a rate in the first place. That that is the only hope. And you know, I'm a little bit biased. I did do four years in the Trump administration, so clearly I do have a dog in the fight. But the Democratic Party continues on that legacy.

Okay, maybe they're not going around and saying high minded ideas like oh, well, popular sovereignty, Well, we'll let the states vote if they want slaves or not. But their policies are just as devastating on black families. Today, I watched Thomas Sultan abortion. There's more abortions of black babies

in New York City than births. And so if you have black skin and you live in a democratically controlled blue city and a blue state, the achievement rates of African Americans educationally, family formation, criminal misbehavior, and other debaucherous acts are through the roof. And so many black folks are saying, we can't take the lies anymore told to us by the Democrats. We need to get out and get out among the red cities and the red states where we

have school choice. I live in little Cincinnati, Ohio, and the public school system is awful, it's terrible. But as far as school choice, fortunately the lawmakers in Columbus, Ohio have said, you got school choice. Here's an eight thousand dollars voucher. And thousands of black kids are leaving the inner city, thank god, their parents recognize the opportunities and going to suburban schools where black kids are more than welcome and form family structurehave even a certain

fashion, which of course has to happen. But to be in New York City or Chicago, or Atlanta or DC and to be ruled by the Democratic Party lied to on a repeated basis, the same philosophy that enslaved black folks in the South is the same philosophy in charge today in the major blue cities.

And I look forward to an occasion where the so called mainstream media will say, this is what you promised, this is what you delivered, and let's cancel the Democratic Party, because let's face it, it is not good for the American people, whether in the military of the cops, educational enrollment, family structure, whatever it is. Abortions has become a sacrament to the

Democrat Party. Well, Michael McDonald, I got to run. But thanks for coming on to you and Bill Donnoue at the Catholic League dot com as a Catholic League dot org dot com and you and yours dot org have a wonderful Fourth of July weekend. And thank you very much. Thank you you

too, Billy, You're great American. God bless you. Let's continue with more Bill Cunningham, the Grand American Live with you every Sunday Night by Billily cunning Him the Great America and Michael McDonald and I, as a practicing Roman Catholic, does not excuse slavery in any context, but put it in context as he's done in this column. Go to Catholic League dot org and can read the whole situation. And America and Western Europe did everything in its power

to stop the nasty institution of slavery. In fact, if the founding fathers had not agreed to leave the issue open, the United States of America would not have existed at all, because the Southern states, North and South Carolina, Virginia would not have entered the Union. They would have formed their own

country. And God knows what would have happened after that. So it was very wise of the Founding fathers to kind of exclude slavery from the original Constitution, but put in the mechanism available to stop it in the long run. And they did, and thank god we did. And even though the rest of the world from Africa to Asia, South America continue with slavery, America

should get some credit for stopping it and stopping it in its tracks. And but for the intercession of the Democrats in the South, which took one hundred years of the Civil Rights Bill to finally pass in nineteen sixty four with Republican assistance. God knows the status of things if Abraham Lincoln had lived and would have kept the troops in the South well twenty or thirty years into the abilities of the Democrats to have the ku Klux planet cetera. Let's continue with more.

Doctor Carrol Lieberman is next on the status of America today, all with you Bill Cunningham every Sunday night. So as we continue, Doctor Carol Lieberman is an expert of many things. She's a Ford certified psychiatrist, and she's wonderful when it comes to issue of cognitive health. She's a real medical doctor. She is a psychiatry Board certified psychiatrist and award winning and best selling author and doctor Carol Lieberman. Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show and Doctor Lieberman.

There are many issues I want to cover with you. Time is so limited. But number one, it appears that the media which spent months and years telling us that anyone who questioned the psychiatric condition of Joe Biden's was conducting in fake videos and AI and that it was ridiculous to consider the fact that our president is not cognitively alert, which has been present for two or three years, and if you went after him, it was all political. And

so give me first your perspective. You have a posting here that's seventy percent of the American people, seventy percent say that a voters doesn't have mental, cognitive and health to serve for the next four and a half years. Whoever we elect this November is going to be there in January of twenty twenty nine. January of twenty twenty nine, So give me your view expressing this column about what the voters believe about Joe Biden's cognitive declines. Well, it's about

time that the voters woke up to just how declined he is. I have been talking about this, trying to warn people in twenty twenty, for the when he ran in twenty twenty from his basement that he had I called it encroaching dementia. And since then it has continued to encroach evermore. And now you don't have to be a psychiatrist or a forensic psychiatrist to see it.

And now, of course, of course, a lot of people are very resistant to that idea, resistant to believe in what they see, because you know, these are the people who don't want to vote for Trump, and they would vote for a banana if it was running against him. So but you know, so a lot of his symptoms a lot of the symptoms of dementia. And I've never examined Joe Biden personally. I have to say that

I did. I wrote a column and an op ed that invited him, a letter to him that was published that invited him to take a cognitive exam that I would give him. And of course, still waiting for the phone to ring. Don't think that's going to happen. But at least you know,

people are realizing this and it's so dangerous. You know. One of the latest things that came out is he's talking about how he doesn't he can't do any work after eight pm. Well, I'm glad now, I'm glad now Bouten and all our other enemies know that if they're going to strike America, you better do it after eight pm. He's standard time. I mean, it's so crazy. We are in such danger and before and after eight pm, and not to mention, of course, the danger of terrorists in

our country increasingly in our country. It's a sad juxtaposition of what ought to be as opposed to what is. And I look at the cover up. This makes Watergate cover up looked like child's play because you had beginning with maybe one of your compatriots, doctor Joe Biden, who is a doctor in an education is with him. I would assume almost every hour of every day, she knows what's going on. The Pretorian guard around Joe Biden knows what's going

on. Those who have met with him, Democrats and Republicans know what's going on. And it's been not shocking. On June twenty seventh, when the debate took place, people were shocked. I can't believe what I'm seeing. And if you got most of your news in the mainstream media, you thought this guy could do backflips like some own biles, and he could stand on his on one hand, and he could recite the Kuran backwards. And so

I'm thinking, what the hell are we dealing with there? Isn't it amazing that after the twenty seventh the majority of the American people saw something they've not seen before. And if that's the case, where the hell have they been the past four or five years? Exactly where have they been? And in fact, you know I was talking about it in twenty twenty, but apparently in twenty nine there the family he was diagnosed in twenty nineteen, and it

was all hushed up. I didn't even know that, just just until just a few days ago. Tucker Carlson has a video online about it. You know, he's giving a talk in Australia or in New Zealand, I don't know. And he talked about how he had a friend who was friends with Biden's sister val and they knew back then. And then I did an interview with Simon Conway and he was talking about how when they came into his studio in twenty nineteen that he told Jill Biden that there's something wrong with Joe.

You should take him to a doctor, right, And she didn't listen, of course, So, well, if you're in the cover of Vogue magazine, why would you want to listen to someone who would take you off the cover of Vogue? And at this point exactly doctor Carol Lieberman Oxios is reporting that he works, according to how staff so to speak, from ten am until four pm, with an afternoon nap. So assuming there's at three am, Teleon, Well, who's making these decisions the past four years, who's

been appointing the federal judges? Who's doing the work? Who is it? It's Obama, It's it's mainly Obama. He's pulling the strings. And that's why our country is in such incredible and incredibly bad state, and that's why

we're more in danger of terrorists than ever before. It's Obama. And you know, behind he's pulling the strings, behind the curtains, and it's really very sad, and of course that's why he hasn't been you know, he's been very sort of ambivalent about whether to you know, on the one hand, he protects Joe, and on the other hand, you know, he may be like talking to some people behind the scenes, but he wants Joe. Unless it's going to be Michelle Obama, you may then put up.

He wants Joe to keep running because basically that's him running. Obama running well now, Doctor Leamham and a completely different topic, Guy ten At many fourth live events, parades, especially of one type or another, and I'm always heartened by the fact that average Americans come out many times in thunderstorms and rain to celebrate the greatness of our country and a outter the great heat, whatever it might be. But I do notice one thing. There's many children,

and there's many folks over at the age of thirty and forty. And I've noticed that between the ages of about eighteen years old and thirty, there's a sense this is not a special country, that somehow we don't deserve to exist, That somehow they've been taught by high school and colleges, as reflected by what we see in the Ivy League demonstrations in favor of Amas who are the

murderers, that somehow the country is not worth saving. And the great majority of younger folks do not get their information from talk radio or from you or from me. They don't get their information even from mainstream media. What they get their information from is the Internet and social media, maybe TikTok videos, things of that character. And you've been around a long time as I have

been, are you a little concerned? And I think this is reflected by the lack of enlistments in the military, that it is very difficult to get people to serve as police officers or deputy sheriffs or corrections officers. The FBI, the US Marshal Services looking for more recruits that come up the ranks. I look all around, and my good friend mister Rowe tells me that every year there's five men, generally men, but some women leaving the trades,

and every year about two enter. So there's a shortness of those who want to work and a shortness of those who want to waive the American flag a country worth saving. When I see fast food restaurants that can't serve fast food anymore because they can't find employees willing to work and start at fifteen or twenty dollars an hour, do you see long term? I mean in ten or twenty years when these individuals are in charge that the country is fundamentally changing.

I am just heart sick about all of this. See this all the time, I mean increasingly it. Of course, it has to do with with what they're being taught in school, you know, I mean this somehow, this has been creeping and we've kind we have. The one good thing about the pandemic is that because it made most students do online learning, you know, on a computer and so on, parents got to see some of what

was going on in school. And it is just awful. The teachers who there are teachers, people who have become teachers, who have been gradually working their way into the educational system, who are teaching this stuff, teaching what

a bad country America is. You know, how were we slaves and you know, all all racist and all of this, and and you know, capitalism is bad and I mean all of these things that are so anti American and not true, and and so then they grow up thinking believing this, and I mean, yes, it is very very I mean we're going to be hitting deep, deep trouble if we I mean, we're going to have to start the draft because people are going to want to sign up because they

you know, why should I sign? I mean, like after nine to eleven there was so much patriotism and people rushed to sign up to join the military. And if there was a nine to eleven now, you know, they'd be sitting in their parents' basements watch playing violent video games. You know, Doctor Karl Lieberman, I watch I hear about the view on ABC in the morning. I watch it sometimes that you don't have to, and I watch a segment with doctor Condaleza Rice, Secretary of State, a brilliant woman,

grew up in Alabama. She her and her family. She had a structured family. They could not attend movie theaters in the nineteen fifties, they couldn't go into some restaurants. It was terrible. And her mother and father said, you know what, Conda, Liza, you're going to be successful in life. You're going to work hard, work smart. You will overcome the racism of that Southern regime. By the way, they were all Democrats, the Democrats in the South who after the Civil War lynched and Jim Crow

laws for the same democrats in charge in the nineteen fifties and sixties. And she made the point that she found it amazing as she succeeded now Condoleeza Rice, who rarely plays golf, belongs to Augusta National Golf Course. But nonetheless, she said, I find it amazing that when I talk about school choice, and I talk about vouchers, and I talk about charter schools. And I talked to the editorial board of the New York Times the Washington Posts,

who set the agenda for liberal America. I often ask those editorial board members, do you send your children to New York City public schools? Do you send your kids to Washington d c. Public schools? And she said, I've never gotten a yes from any of them, who are telling everyone else

that charter schools and school choice and vouchers are wrong. And so the system now makes sure that black kids grew up in dysfunctional cities with the dysfunctional streets where moms and dads can't walk around, that marriage is almost irrelevant, and we want to lock these kids. And the failing dysfunctional public schools just has happened in the South of the nineteen fifties and sixties. And she made the point to the view, how many of your kids are attending New York City

public schools? And him haul and around was unbelievable. So they preach one a game to keep black kids held down. But then in their own lives they go to Sidwell and other exclusive private schools. Can you smell when I'm cooking? I never heard that expression? That's good? Well, you know,

I mean. The thing is that I'm not saying that there wasn't that slavery back in the day and that there isn't still some degree of But the problem is we're making it worse because with this teaching critical race theory in schools, when kids are born, they don't know color. They're not the born racist no matter what color they are. They care about kids, you know, they take their friends by who they like and who's friendly to them and

who's nice to them and all of that. But teaching critical race theory that one group is the oppressor and the other group is the oppressed right away, starting in elementary school, you're creating racism. She made that point that you can't come through an urban public school without being taught that the color of your skin determines an outcome. And she said, if my parents had done that to me in Alabama, I never would have been the Secretary of State.

I never would have walked in the corridors of power. I never would address to you and if I thought the color of my skin would determine outcome. But that's being taught because it's an excuse for the policy failures of those in charge. I just lastly we had about two minutes form Manning. I'm going to get you're so good about this. Those of us that have daughters or granddaughters between fifteen and thirty years old, why is there a crisis among younger

girls, especially in boys when it comes to fitting into American society? Why is there such a crisis today with drug use dropping out, obesity and also marijuana use. Why is there such a crisis among that group. Well, because they look at what's been happening, and they look at their future and it doesn't seem bright. It doesn't seem people are feeling like, what's the point. Why should I try hard to do well in school or to you know, plan to have some kind of career or whatever. Why should I

aspire to anything? Like it seems like the world is going to end. I mean, that's a combination of the pandemic, you know, where it seemed that there was never any like the light at the end of the tunnel never really came, and they were deprived of so much for two years, and and so there's a sense of mortality, a sense of just why try, like and then of course the world situation with you know, with Afghanistan, by this horrible surrender in Afghanistan, just so many things all over the

world, you know, people threatening nuclear boutin and others threatening nuclear war. I mean, it seems like there's not going to be a future there, so they feel like why should they try. It's very depressing. They are very depressed, and and about the country, you know, about feeling pride in America, just to circle back to what we started talking about, and and just in general, you know that that they feel defeated before they've begun.

And it's up to parents to really be, like I'd believes the Rice as parents, you know, to encourage them, to inspire them, to take them to extracurricular activities, to help them find what it is that they're passionate about. Well, that's great, great, they're depressed, unhappy family structure, meeting a man or if you're a man, meeting a woman and forming a family having children, struggling, working hard. That's a problem,

isn't it. Yes, I mean with these dating apps and so on, you know, dating, romance, love, it's it's kind of been really ruined by dating apps. You know, if you know, if if we get into an argument, I'll just swipe right or swipe left or whatever it is. You know, I'll find somebody else who doesn't argue with me. Or I mean, it's it's it's it's very as a very unfortunate state of affairs. But each person is an individual and they can create their own future.

Doctor Carol Lieberman, you're the best there is that this. Thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And please let's do it again. Let's ring the bell and hopefully someone can hear the ring. Let's let's keep doing it. Absolutely. Thank you, God bless America. I't's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, the Grand American live with you every Sunday. Billy cunning Integreat American. Thanks for listening this more or less Fourth of July weekend celebration

of the freedom of this great country. The great holidays to me are the fourth of July and Thanksgiving and Christmas. The other ones you're okay too, especially Veterans Day, things like that, very important, very important New Year's Eve. That's that's important. All these other things are important. But without the fourth of July, without the risk taken by about forty or fifty signers of the Declaration of Independence and those who put together the Constitution, how different
