Billy cunning in the Great American and getting ready for Thanksgiving and so much more. Tuesday afternoon, rainy, bad weather. It's going to be bad weather next ten to fourteen days. I said this to the People's Judge last night as you were nodding off. I sleep with a judge every night, and that is everywhere I look, I see nothing but difficulties, nothing but problems. Oh my lord, school board members being arrested in Butler County. You
have many riots taking place on college campuses. The southern border is completely wide open. Even Fox News have quit covering it because there's nothing they can do about it. Jijo Pin comes into San Francisco last week, and guess what, They clean it up for a Chinese communist, but not for the residents in San Francisco. Now I'm told by some that Governor Gavin Newsom is the guy that's going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party because Joe Biden is
fading rapidly. Law enforcement is basically under assault from every quarter, and there's parts of our great nation that are functioning, others are not. New York Times tells you and I that the problems with urban public education was caused by the pandemic, and they've not recovered the last three or four years, nor
would they ever recover. In the city of Cincinnati, is Sheriff Richard K. Jones knows fifty percent of the children are chronically absent, and if you're a black boy under the age of eighteen, it is seventy percent are chronically absent. With drive by shootings, the norm Beaver Creek, Walmart, all hell's breaking loose. Sheriff Richard K. Jones, Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show, And can you comment on any of that before we talk about
the issues. Listen, you've covered it all though. Basically what we've got we had no leadership in our government. Everything is broke down. The social norms are broke down, the nuclear families are broke down, and I worry for our country. We have no leaders that make you feel good about anything. Right now. Everything's total care chaos. There was a mass shooting last night. We got the Republicans fighting with the Republicans and the Democrats are all
unified, no question so divided. The Republicans are divided in the state, they're divided locally, They're divided everywhere and we just had no leadership whatsoever. Police are under attack, everything is in total chaos. But here in Butler County, the old sheriff does everything he can to keep everybody safe. And listen, I swim up scream like the salmon do sometimes. And it's very difficult even for my own party up with me. But listen, I don't
I don't work for them. I work for the people. In fact, nobody's on top of you in a sense, not the prosecutor. But on the issue of marijuana that we recently passed, uh, you're an old law enforcement type. And when I talked to Governor Dwine, Steven secretary, when I when I talked to Huffman, the President of the Senate, Speaker of the House, they all tell me they're going to change it. But at the end of the day, we're going to have marijuana waffling all over the
place. You may not know it because you don't go to ot R, you don't spend time in Washington Park, you don't walk on the banks. You're afraid to walk down there. I do. I got the guts, of course, I carry my little three fifty seven on my hip. That's a different story. But when I do, I smell marriage Ijuana everywhere. It's waffling all over the city. And when I talk to the coppers, they tell me we're told not to not decide anybody. It's a citable offense
now, but they don't do that. What harm, if any, will be caused by marijuana legalization when it's fully implemented in the summer of next year, lessen, marijuana's already. We can get medical marijuana, can get underground marijuana. I don't believe it's going to be any more people doing marijuana. They were doing it before the voters voted. It wasn't even close. No. Listen where I went to school. In the Constitution of the United States,
you don't get doovers. The people get to vote. That's the American way. We try to go in the countries. Make sure they have voting and they have legalized voting. And remember the little blue fingerprints and the thumb prints. People die for that stuff every day. You can't change a vote, and if you do, it's you know, that's that's an issue you can't do. Look, marijuana's here, it's the law now. And how they change it, I don't know how you unchange a vote. We'll see
how that works out. Do your guys, if you see someone smoking adobie in in Westchester publicly outside, Uh, do you tell your guys to go a site or arrest that person. Listen, you're not allowed to be intoxic. You're not allowed to drink outside unless it's a dora. And if somebody's smoking a joint, Uh, it's a citation. That's all it is. Uh. Put it out, flush it down the toilet. Uh. We don't have that problem much in Butler County. Uh, Cincinnati a different story,
Cincinnati. I feel sorry for the police officers in Cincinnati. I talk to him all the time, and it's a whole different ballgame there. Butler County pretty good place to live, my friend. And so as far as the marijuana, the sheriff is saying, which is what I love to hear, I may not like it. I voted yes on two and I voted no on one. I made that public. I think as long as you
treat marijuana's just like alcohol, it's not a big deal. And right after the election elected leaders, the Republicans and Columbus were saying, you know what, we're gonna change that. And then when the abortion thing went through. Now we're gonna have abortion on demand from conception through birth. The first thing Republicans said and Columbus is we're gonna We're gonna fight that. We're gonna work
around that. Isn't that dangerous in a democracy, even for those who disagree with I would assume you're against abortion, and I would assume you're against legalizing marijuana. You probably voted on both them. No, no, probably, but kind of you lost. And so if you lose, do you work around it, or do you say the will of the people must be heard. The will of the people must be heard. I still don't poor abortion. I still don't support the marijuana, but it's the law. It's going
to become law in ninety days, and my job is senforce law. Everybody knows where I stand on everything, and I can't do nothing about the way people vote. And the good thing about living in America, you're going to go on that booth and vote. The majority controls. That's how ball games are won, and when the game's over, you say, and what you do they try to get another day in the whole Patter's divided pretty well equally.
But right now those two bills failed. There's one state represented that thinks she can undo the Constitution and she can't. And her name is Gross. She cannot do that. Hey, bless her soul. She's a nice lady, but you don't change what people. Why have elections If you're going to go in there and say way, you can't do that. It's like the rich ely and change the way you vote. Can tell you what you can eat, They can tell you what you can do in your bedroom, and
that's what they do. And these little dictator countries, it's not going to happen. Well, Jennifer Gross, I think as well intended. She's one of your own from Butler County, and she proposed at a big news conference right after abortion passed, saying we're going to pass a law that says judges cannot rule an act of the legislature unconstitutional. She wants to put all these restrictions on abortion and take away the vote of the people, which I vihetmamly
disagree with, but I know how judges view that. They're going to rule what she does unconstitutional. Then there'll be a crisis. Now getting onto something you're very familiar with, I'm told by Tony Bender and others that Donald Trump, without question is going to be the nominee of the Republican Party. You were a Trumpster before Trump was cool. You were back there in the beginning. I brought you along slowly, But can can Trump? I know he's
gonna win Ohio. But are we in a position now where you will announce your support for Donald Trump for the twenty twenty four election. Yes, I'm in that position right now. I am supporting him. Have been chosen as a delicate for President Trump, and I'm going to do everything I can to help him get re elected again, to become a president again. And I'm going to work at hard I've been working. And everything they've done to him is all sham. It's all ridiculous. The riots that we're in DC is
all a sham, all ridiculous. People are incarcerated, shouldn't have been for that reason. And they get up there and they get these positions like Liz Chaney. They lie and cheat to hate people so bad, and they basically hate Americans. They make us hate each other, and the media doesn't help. But no, I'm absolutely one hundred and fifty percent behind President Trump. He's the God and hopefully our comfort holds together till he gets in and President
Biden is our president. I don't know how he makes it. He's not going to run a campaign. I know they're going to try to get that god from California to come in. But I believe it when I see it. But can you imagine Biden doing any kind of a debate. He can't debate. He couldn't debate at a fifteen year old, a twelve. You he can't even hardly walk, you can't talk. He gets confused. Now they're trying to shorten the steps so he won't fall when he gets comped the
plane. They got him taking the short steps. Pretty soon they're going to have a little lift bringing him down and lifting him up. And when he talks, you can't understand a word he says, and they make it. How do you vote, even if you hate President Trump? How do you vote for that guy? The lead? And the world's and a mess. Now we're spending money and all we seem to care about is wokeness, a
clean air, clean water. Those are important issues. And how you pronounce your name, the pronouns and people don't people care about when you go to the store, you buy food, and the prices are so high. And when you look at that prices are high, you look at what it costs for gas. You look at what it costs for your tastes. Here Butler County, our passes are going crazy if you look it up. That's how people care about. They don't care about all this crap that Biden's not decidement.
Somebody are pulling a string like in the Wizard of Oz, the Great Oz that pulled the curtain back, and there the guy is pulling the strings. It's the machine. He's not doing any of this. Hey, I have trouble staying up till nine o'clock now that is dark at five thirty. I assume he goes to bed earlier, that doesn't get up till late and
probably has to take naps and the other thing. In Butler County. I would assume that if there was industrial strength shoplifting and looting in thieves all over the place, and thievery is occurring, whether it's a target or a Walmart,
that's somebody in Butler County. It's difficult to say pull him out or a security guard you saw yesterday I had on Brian Hamrick of the Power of five and wenting Hills and on mean streets of since there was a derelict that went in with a large garbage bag and was putting steaks into his garbage bag and walking out with him, and the security guard had the guts to confront the person in the parking lot and that person pulls out a weapon and shoots
at him several times. Thank god, he misses. He finally gets apprehended. But if that stuff happens in Butler County, and at this point our prosecutor, Melissa Powers has said, we're going to prosecute that guy to the fullest extent of the law. But in Hamlet and County, I have many texts from those on the west side of town saying whatever the store is, there's massive looting taking place every day because the owners of the store tell them
don't confront anyone. In fact, I think the guy who confronted the thief and Winton Hills at the Kroger is going to be told by Kroger, don't you ever do that again. You almost got shoppers killed and yourself killed. So that means you can loot and vandalize, commit massive thefts with no problem at all, And sheriff. I would say to you, in Butler County, we can't have this. Well, what is your policy in Butler County? Hey, if you come in like what they do in those big cities,
you'll be arrested. You'll go to jail. These other big cities, they don't have any room in jail. They got these prosecutors that don't care. But here in Butler County, we have a real prosecutor, Mike Morsey. Listen, you come in there with bags full of clothes, and listen. These security people in these stores they get fired if they stoppers, they
actually get fired. They get fired. I was in on depot one day and I go there a lot and the guy was I was watching he was getting made to steal these power tools, and he kept turning around looking at me. I knew who he was, but he wasn't for sure he knew me. He said, do you work here? I said sort of. He said, well what do you do? I said, well, my job is to find people who are stealing tools and arrest them. And you know what he done. He went out the door and I was there shopping.
I wasn't there to do that. And I know a lady that was fired from that stoor for actually calling the sheriff's office. They go, they steal that stuff, and then what they do is they go out the door with it in overseats. Then they come back and turn it in get get cars, and then they sell them, like you know, one hundred dollars, they'll give them ten dollars, and they don't do anything about it.
Nothing, and it's out of control. But if you come into a store and loot the store, knock windows out, we're going to rest your ass well, and the prosecutor is going to prosecute you. That's why that doesn't
happen. There's a reason for that. I think Channel twelve had a story if someone in Hamliny County that stole something like one hundred bottles of head and shoulders out a price of about five or six hundred dollars, and they went out in the parking lot and then came back into the return desk and instead of getting that, they received a store credit for like five or six hundred dollars having stolen. How's that possible? Yep, Hey, it's because it's
figured in the mint. It's in the cake makes when you and I go to the store to buy that stuff. The price is figured in on falls already paid for that. That's why we pay for it because nobody cares is big corporation. Hey, I don't blame the security guard for time not to stop these people. They will get killed. We had an incedence in Butler County a walmarts where an individual was shot and killed over a shop lifter,
and then another person that worked there was shopping. Listen, it's a crazy world till you put police in those stores and you have cops in the malls, real cops, not security guys, real cops. They're going to come in these stores. They're going to run people off. These high school kids get out of school, they come into the mall, they take them over, and people won't go shopping that after about twice a half, they don't want to be around that. But listen, Butler County, we don't put
up with them. We've got a good prosecutor. Like I said, Mike Moses, Hey tough. I've been doing this for forty five years. There is no tough for them. He was, And you've got a share that don't put up with a keeps. The police, they don't put up with all and we've got good courts here and but we're talking. I can't stay for everywhere else, No, you can't. In fact, in fact, when you hire new employees, do you ask them their preferred pronouns? Do
you say, what is your preferred pronoun? You? And you put your name, You put your name on there. And here's what I tell people. Uh, we don't have a cry room where you can hug a pillow and go in a room if your boss doesn't like you. Uh. Uh, that's part of life. You'll you'll, it'll make you tough. And this isn't where we have here. Here's your pillow, and if you need a place to go cry, we'll give you a pillow. Or if you need to work from home. Yeah, everybody should work from home, right,
No, No, you come to work every day. Don't be late. Uh, Hey, call in if you're sick, but don't call in. Uh if you're not sick, I'll fire for something. And I stand that from my employee. No. Lastly, situations where we hey, where we shoot people that some people got to be shot. You got to shoot them. You gotta shoot them. If you shoot at the police, guess what we're in Butler County. We'll shoot. We don't duck and go.
You missed, you get two more shots. If you throw a brick at you, you come at us with a knife, We're gonna shoot at you. He star, don't do that now. Lastly, you were sued for the for the Jonesy Burger, the Sheriff Burger, as being it wasn't a proper diet. Eat three Sheriff Burgers a day in all the water you can drink. What happened to that lawsuit? Uh, listen, it wasn't a lawsuit. It was just a complaint. And I think it was a complaint, which, yeah, I don't care. I was the one that dismissed
that. I listen. I never went to law school. I don't have to. I'm the boss of the jail. And if you commit crimes in the jail, if you assault people, saw the other inmates, people have h be able to come to jail and be as safe as you can make it. And when you let people assault people assall the officers in the jail, you have total chaos. My job is to make sure it's as safe as I can make it. And believe me, if you cause those problems, in jail in my general butler, Tom, Hey, you get a
wardenburger. You get it three times a day. It's approved by a dietician. You get all the waters you can drink for seven days. Good luck im at it? All right? Well on Thanksgiving? What do you what do you do on Thanksgiving? For the inmates? You give them a wardenburger? Do you give them a turkey? They get a good meal. Listen, you come to jail, you get a good meal on Christmas, you get a good meal. On holidays, and your meals aren't like what your
mom thinks. But on the holidays they get a good meal. And I keep the inmates as satisfied as they can, not that they want to come back. But on Thanksgiving they'll get a good meal. Their meals are always good. But on Thanksgiving, all right, I got to come and visit you again. I like the way the inmates react to you. It's pretty funny. But uh, Richie Sheriff, one day, come in and we'll do We'll do one of your radiosos. That'd be hilarious. Talk to some
of the inmates about to share what is your preferred sheriff. Mister Sheriff to you all right to me, Sheriff, You're the best. Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours, and Butler County is functional like Warren County and Boone County and Kenton County. I'm not so sure about Hamlin County. But man, you and yours have every wonderful Thanksgiving. Thank to you, my friends, one God bless you. Let's continue with more. What is your preferred pronoun?
Bend over. I'm gonna kick you in the ass. That's my preferred pronoun. Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred that you led over you it's your hour long off season. Get together for everything. Read here from the players, here from the front office. Here from professional baseball announceries. Now, what is this? The reds Hot Stove League tonight at six on seven hundred w l W, the Home of the Red Let it all out, honey, Maybe doctor Smith can help. I am
so tired of giving and giving. And Sean McMahon, second cousin of the founder of WWE hit the music. Pretty good stuff, I guess getting ready for the Rolling Stones gonna be in Cleveland. Get the tickets, you know, Mick Jagger and Joe Biden are the same age. And I guess the lesson is take drugs, have several thousand lovers rock and roll and you look
live forever. If you're a politician, you're in trouble. But Joe Biden, just look at the look at the behavior, look at the photos of Joe Biden compared to Mick Jagger, and tells me right, and tell me rock and roll will not last forever. So it's gonna happen starting in May and is going to continue for the next six months. From that period on, the Stones are gonna be everywhere in the country. You can find them. Who's bigger the Rolling Stones or Taylor Swift or the Beatles or Elvis.
I'm not sure, but right now Taylor Swift or Garth Brooks the best selling solar artist of all time. I don't know. By the time Taylor Swift is done, should probably sell more than anyone, have more of an impact.
But the taste of the American people are unbridled now. Secondly, we have coming up tomorrow the commemoration of the sixtieth anniversary of the murder of President John F. Kennedy and Dealer Plaza at or near noon Central Standard Time on November the twenty second, nineteen sixty three, before most of us were even born. But I was not one of those. I was born and when that event happened to give you some idea of the importance of that presidency,
and practically every Catholic home was a picture of the pope. In that case it was I believe it was Pope John the twenty third, and also a picture of John F. Kennedy because of what he represented. We found out later, many decades later, he had led a life privately that was not so worthy of attribute. But nonetheless, at least at that time, in every black home, what was a picture of Martin Luther King Junior, who
would be assassinated of course on April fourth, nineteen sixty eight. But for a Catholic boy growing up in the Deer Park to have the picture of John F. Kennedy next to the pope was it was a given. So I find myself on November the twenty second, nineteen sixty three. At that point, I was what fifteen years old, and I was sitting in so called Dummy Hall in Deer Park High School. Dummy Hall, I'm not sure it was officially called that, but if you were flunking any class, and I
was flunking five of them at the time. And you were placed in dummy Hall, which was the seventh period, and you had one hour of a loane time to study or get yourself up to snuff academically. And I was failing miserably at Deer Park High schoo because I didn't want to be there. As you may know, I spent the first eight years of my life at Saint Savior Grade School, Savior with an S in Ross Moynes slash Sycamore Township slash Deer Park. And after that I went to Malor High School, which
was the third year of its existence. And I loved Saint Savior. I love my boys, my running mates, and I loved Moller High School. I played football, basketball, and baseball, but my main thing was basketball. It was pretty good. So in the summer of nineteen sixty three, I assume, naturally, I'm going back to Muller High School. I'm fifteen years old for my second year. Unbeknownst to yours truly, my mother, who was a wonderful, darling, emotional, good woman, a good every
mother should have one like I had. But she had a backbone of steel. Never weighed one hundred pounds any point in her life, five foot two, about ninety five pounds. She was receiving letters from Muller High School. I think it was brother. Was it Everslage who was the principal ever Slange that Bill Billy cannot come back to Maller High School because he didn't pay tuition. We had no money, I mean zero money living with aunt. I
was living. We were living brothers and sisters with my aunt, my mother's sister, and she had four or five of these letters unbeknownst to me. So August is coming up, and I find myself going to summer camp at Muller. I played quarterback on the football team. Not real good, but I played. And I assume I'm going back to Demuller. And then one day she calls me and says, Billy, you're not going back to Malor
High School. I said, what do you mean. I'm going back as my guys are there, Jerry Fouss, those are my guys, Steve Bean, I want to go back, Herman Bean, I want to go back, and Ken Leuhan. And she said, you're not going back because I have a letter here saying you can't come back unless you pay the tuition that's due, plus because we're in default. You got to pay the second year up and we have no money, and I've tried to work out a payment plan. He said no. The principal said no, So you got to
go to deer Park. I said, Mom, I'm not going to deer Park. She said, yes, you are, so on the appointed day, I found myself the end of August, first of September, walking up the steps a deer Park High School, walk into the administration part there and said, I guess I have to register. What's your address? What's your name? Gave him my name, Bill Cunningham. What's your day to birth? Twelve eleven forty seven. Okay, where are you coming from? Muller
High School? Okay? So they gave me some classes to take for the next several weeks. I did my best of flunk because I didn't want to be there, didn't want to have new friends. I didn't like deer Park High School. I didn't want and so I thought the way to get out is to flunk. I thought about simply leaving the house every day to walk to school and simply not go to school at all, but I'm thinking that won't work. So at some point the first part of November, demcadvisor tells
me Bill, you're not doing well at all. You have f's how come? I said, well, I don't want to be here. I'm not doing homework. I'm not taking a test. Well, if you don't do that, you got to be in dummy Hall. I said, what's that. So that's where students that are flunking go for specialized academic treatment. I said, well, whatever, so I go to dummy Hall. I'm sitting in dummy Hall on Friday, November the twenty second, nineteen sixty three,
feeling sorry for myself. Things aren't good. I'm flunking. I went out. I had thought about hitchhiking. I thought about getting to I seventy five, put my thumb out and go south, northeast or west and just get out and be on my own. For some reason, I didn't do it. And I'm sitting in Dummy Hall about three or four pm on Friday, November the twenty second, nineteen sixty three, and a voice comes over the
loud speaker. It was the principal, Lewis Manning, and he said something to the effect that I regret to inform you that President John F. Kennedy was murdered this afternoon in Dallas, Texas. As a consequence, every once you go home, cancel all the activities. There was no sports played that night. I'm sure maybe there was a football game schedule, a basketball game. I'm not sure. I was not part of the culture of Deer Park
High School at all, so at this point it really impacted me. I knew for my Catholic upbringing, I said a prayer to Hail Mary for the repose of the soul of President John F. Kennedy. And there weren't too many Catholic prayers being set inside Deer Park High School. I'm walking out of the building down a long hallway and this tall guy who was a coach slash teacher named Tom Griswold looks at me and I'm walking past him. He said, stop, hold on a minute. He said, what are you doing
here? I said, well, well, I guess I'm going home. He said, no, what are you doing at Deer Park? I said, well, I'm enrolled here. He said why? He said, you played for the eighth grade Saints save your basketball team. Didn't you play a game here at Deer Park. I said, yeah, a couple of years ago. He said, didn't you score like twenty five points as an eighth grader? I said yeah, I did. He said, well, why do you Why aren't you on the reserve team. I said, I don't
wanna. I don't want to be at Deer Park. I don't belong here. He said, yes, you do. He said, I'll tell you what. You're in dummy hall. Right, yeah, I'm in dummy hall. He said, I'll tell you what. I'll get you out of dummy hall if you promise to come and play basketball, continue to play basketball being on the reserve team at Deer Park, and you'll get your grades up. I said, well, honestly, I can get my grades up. Hell.
I was taking a Latin class a Rote Frattes. I had some conversational knowledge of Latin because I was a server for three years and all the prayers were in Latin. I didn't understand. I couldn't speak Latin, but I understood Latin. He said, how are you flunking Latin as a Catholic boy? I said, I don't want. I don't want to be here. He said, well, I'll get you out of Dummy Hall, if you play basketball and get your grades up, I said, okay, what's your
name? He said, Tom Griswold, and so I'll see you at practice on Monday. I'm not sure practice happened on Monday, because at that time the country shut down with the Kennedy assassination. All events were canceled. It's terrible, awful. The funeral was beyond painful to watch. As a Catholic boy, I mean, we had our guy. I would imagine it's similar
to an African American's emotional relationship with Barack Hussain Obama. I would assume it's similar to that that we just love the guy and he's dead, murdered, and so the rest is history. Got my grades up, played basketball, got a scholarship, and over the years I've had on two authors. I'm going to have one on tomorrow who's written extensively about the Kennedy assassination. The most studied event in a homicide criminal history anywhere in the world is the Kennedy
assassination. And how many murders are on videotape because of Abraham's a pruder, How many murders actually you can see it happening right in front of you. I'd say that's quite rare. Presidents have been shot a lot in this country, but the one that continues to haunt so many as the murder of President John F. Kennedy, which is the sixtieth anniversary. The commemoration is tomorrow, and I doubt there will ever be another commemoration that We're going to go
through tonight and tomorrow. And for those the average American, believe it or not, is thirty two years old. The average American was born in nineteen ninety one. And so for those like my producer Sean who thinks about the Kennedy assassination, it'd be like me thinking about I don't know, the assassination of Abraham Lincoln. It's historical, but to most Americans it's like it's not
personal. For those alive at that time gone through that when little John John gave the salute to his dad's coffin as they walked through Washington to Arlington with the Eternal Flame. I've been to Arlington twice, and which is the home of Robert E. Lee, the General of the Confederacy, which Abraham Lincoln took over in eighteen sixty two, Nonetheless, it's so emotional to watch the
time and time again for those of us alive at that time. It was the defining moment of the nineteen sixties because I firmly believe that the Vietnam War would not have happened causing the death of nearly sixty thousand of my fellow Americans if John F. Kennedy had not been murdered. So tomorrow we have on an expert on the assassination to go over up, down, left, right. But nonetheless, I've had on Vincent Bougliosi, who came to town.
He's the great Los Angeles County prosecutor prosecuted the Sharon Tate murders. He wrote book on it called Four Days in November, which was about twenty five years ago. Another one, Gerald Posner, wrote a book called Case Closed, wrote about fifteen years ago. And now there's more speculation because of the coming forward of a Secret Service agent who said that he saw the magic bullet, so to speak, the second one fired inside the presidential limo, and that
he was the one that dropped it on a gurney at the hospital. So it continues to proliferate, continues to talk about the number of conspiracies afoot. Seventy percent of us believe that Lee Harvey Oswell did not act alone, that
there was a second gunman somewhere, despite the evidence of the contrary. The seventy percent don't trust government in general, and they especially don't trust the government when there was so many entities that went at John F. Kennedy dead, whether it was Castro Cruse Chef, whether it was the defense industries, whether
well Lee Harvey Oswell definitely wanted them killed, and away we go. So tomorrow we're going to spend time on the sixtieth anniversary of the murder of President John F. Kennedy, and I think for the last time, at least in my life, we're going to have on a guest that deals with what really happened on November twenty second. Was there a second shooter? Was there a conspiracy? Did the mob do it because of what they perceived as a
tax on them from the Robert F. Kennedy Department of Justice? There were many suspects. How did it come to be? Well, let's continue with more after one o'clock today, getting ready for tomorrow, and so much more than lies ahead. We have an author of a book a Beat the Elites. Her name is Ashley Hayek. She'll be here to talk about family, energy, independence, open borders, drugs being led in, so much more.
Then, Also later on we scheduled an appearance of a candidate who ran against Gavin Newsom because most smart money is on the idea that Gavin Newsom is going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party, So we need to know
more about Gavin Newsom and more. Twelve fifty five Home of Your Bengals News Radio seven hundred WLW, Cincinnati. I want to be I'm a pay As the bad, the bold, bad Bad, the bo Bill Cunningham, the Great American everywhere I look, there's difficulties. Schools are not educating, cities and not providing basic services. The southern borders in complete
collapse. We clean up cities for Chinese communist leaders, but not for Americans, and getting ready for all the holidays that lie between now and the end of the year. It's very clear we're in that we're going in the wrong direction. It's not good. Ashley Hayek was a one of the leaders of Women for Trump. She has a new book out called Beat the Elites and
More. She was a coalition leader and led Women for Trump during the twenty twenty campaign, so she's in tune about what's happening here and around the world. And Ashley, welcome, I think for the first time to the Bill Cunningham Show. And can you give the American people kind of your overview of where the country is as we approach the holiday season and here it is the end of twenty twenty three. How much trouble are we in. We're in
deep trouble. It is very clear that the establishment has waged a war against the American people. And you know, the elites or what I call the elitics in my book, have indicted the people's president, President Trump. They've dismantled the successful America First agenda. They want to prevent him from being able to return to the White House. Our economies and shambles. They've opened our border, but but they live behind secure walls. They're dumping illegal criminals into
our communities, allowing fitanaels to be poured across our border. People are having to choose between getting to eat or heat. They've been reckless in spending, causing our inflation to soar. Businesses are looted, people are assaulted. They've defunded our police. Our communities are unsafe. And the part that really gets me as a mom of five is how dare they say that my children belong to them? That's just wrong. They're trying to strip parental rights away so
that they can control our children and our communities. And it's devastating to our country and what our country is supposed to be all about. And you know, Ashley Hayak, if you would take a look a week or so ago,
when the Chinese Communists sent their leader to San Francisco. In order to make it presentable for a Chinese Communist, we had to clean up the city get rid of the homeless encampment's get the needles off the sidewalks, you get the poop out of the gutter to make it look better, because we had a Chinese communist visiting us, and the guy in charge of that is Gavin Newsom, and he wanted to make the city look better along with the along
with the mayor there London, breed is doing an awful job. So we clean up for Communists, but we don't clean up for Americans. And then hat in hand, this is one of the more ridiculous things that you had. Joe Biden kind of begging the Chinese communist leader to quit giving us so many drugs illegally. In other words, please please quit sending fent nol and heroin to kill one hundred and twenty five thousand Americans every year. Please please
please quit give it us drugs that we're used to kill ourselves. And while that's going on, I look at what's happening now, the hostage situation. There's some resolution in Israel, but nonetheless that's a disaster. So we care deeply about the borders of Gaza. We care about the borders of Israel. We care about the borders of the Ukraine. We care about the borders in Afghanistan, we care about the borders in a rock, but we don't care
about our own border. And as a mom of five imagined, because of that consequence, how this country is going to look in the next ten to twenty years. Think about all the borders we protect except our own. Why that's exactly right, because think about who's benefiting off of all of those relationships. You know, going back to Jijin Thing's trip to San Francisco, what an incredible transformation the government pulled off for a communist dictator who literally commits crimes
against humanity. I mean to have the entire homeless population, a long standing issue in the city causing you know, businesses to flee, was suddenly and efficiently cleared out. If the government can effectively address such a complex issue for a foreign dictator, why doesn't it show the same result for its own citizens? And I mean, the same thing happened in El Pasa, Texas.
If you remember when President Biden visited as Alpasta, Texas, the streets were clear to the legal immigrants, mirroring the actions that took it in San Francisco. It just demonstrates that this government has the ability to do something, but they're choosing not to. And it's absolutely disgusting, and the American people need to be pushing back against their elected representatives and telling them to demand change in
our country. You're absolutely right. Our president is compromised by China. We've seen the checks. Now, we've seen the flow of money with his brother, with his sister in law, with his son. There's your China ties. You look at what's happening in Ukraine again, ties to this president. We had the Secretary of Defense to just go and visit Kiev to talk and guarantee one hundred million more dollars to Ukraine. This is a man who sat
on the board of Raytheon defense contractor. So let's think about who's getting richer. The elite in Washington, d C. The elite in the swamp. The ones that are controlling our lives are the ones that are benefiting off the backs of the American people. It's horrific. So Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin sat on the board of Raytheon, America's largest energy I'm sorry, a defense contractor, and he came off the board to go to head up the Department
of Defense, then gives Raytheon billions of dollars of new moneys. And then after his term is up, probably next year, he won't serve for a second time with Biden, God forbid, he gets reelected. He then goes back to the board of Raytheon making millions of dollars. You know what happens, and I read this elsewhere Ashley, is that Chinese communists want to bribe the leaders of nations with millions and millions of dollars in their personal pockets in
exchange for billions of dollars of business. And so I watch it happening with the Biden crimeson to get the Briden family have literally made between fifty and one hundred million dollars. So you bribe the leaders or the future leaders of a nation. You make bets across the political spectrum to bribe leaders, and then once they get in power, they return the guilt to the origins, which
in this case is Chinese communism. I can only imagine if Donald Trump was in the White House and he had a Secretary of Defense that was on the Raithian Board, and then as the Secretary of Defense gives Raithian billions of dollars of new contracts, then to go back to the Raithian board after his public service is done, after waiting for one year, we would have an outrage
of incredible proportion. Or if we had Donald Trump and the White House so you support it in twenty twenty, who made sure an American city was cleaned up for a Chinese communist mass murderer, but filthy for American citizens? What the immediate reaction would have for that simple act. It would have been unbelievable. And I can only imagine the other peccadillos of Joe Biden, who's fondeling the ears of a six year old girl, saying, oh, darling,
you have great looking ears. I can only imagine if Donald Trump would go up to a six year old repeatedly and talk about how pretty she is and
you have beautiful ears. What the media would have done with that? What would the media have done with Donald Trump if he fondled the ears of a six year old girl, Or what would the media have done if Donald Trump had a fundraiser with Vladmir putin the way that Joe Biden had a fund raiser with Gigi Hing Right, at forty thousand dollars ahead, like, there's no way to deal. Would have tolerated that, but they're completely complicit in it. You know, go a little bit deeper. Look at Liz Cheney.
She's another interesting person, and I wrote about this in my book. According to the Center for Responsive Politics, Liz Cheney was worth seven million dollars when she went to Congress twenty seventeen. That's not bad. Right by the end of the following year, one year, her wealth had more than doubled to fourteen point seven million dollars. You know, some point to her husband's partnership and a law firm that serves clients including TMME, a Chinese technology company.
You know, I don't know, but by the time she left Congress her net worth was forty four point one million dollars. These people are going to Washington, DC and they're getting rich off these contracts. Look at the senator from New Jersey, another case where he was compromised by the Egyptians. This is not okay. This is a huge, huge security risk to America and it's completely wrong and double standard, which is why we need a leader like
Donald Trump back in office. Ashley Hyank let's talk about motherhood and family life. I can't conceive of the difficulties a family, generally a mother has in an urban area with the Detroit public schools or the Cincinnati Public school or the Chicago public schools or the Los Angeles County Public school system. Can you imagine if your five kids were in the Detroit public school system what their education would look like. Well, this is why we need school choice, so that
parents can choose to pull their kids from those schools to begin with. You know, and we were in public schools when we were in California. We switched to Fairfax County Schools when we moved to Virginia's when I went to go work on President Hunt's campaign. And I'll be very honest, Fairfax County school is the sister to Loudon where you heard about all of those problems. They
hired the same contractor. And as soon as I heard that they hired that same contractor, we pulled our kids out of the school because there was no way we would allow them to be subjected to the sexualization of our children as we're seen today. And that doesn't even include in the places like you men to Chicago, New York City where children are being displaced for illegal alien kids.
We have a friend out in Virginia who's a high school teacher. She said most of her kids probably have third of her kids do not speak English. Further, they're the ones that are the biggest drug dealers on her campus. Now, I don't want to make this, you know, accusation for everybody, but this is a huge issue. Talk about the cartels. You know, these families have debts, some of them who come across they're selling drugs to our kids. You know, they're displacing kids who need who need
services that are being pushed out, and their parents are taxpayers too. It's wrong. I can't imagine some of those moms in you know, inner city Detroit or in Chicago that all they've wanted was an equal opportunity. All they've wanted was a chance for their kids to get out of the system. And now they're being put on the back burner for somebody else who isn't from here
and who knows what the story is. It's just it's not right. Well, what's occurring is that you have to pay real estate taxes to the public school system completely dysfunctional, and then you have to pay private schools. Here in Ohio, we have a voucher system which allows a kid to get about eight thousand dollars to go to a school of their choice, which might be a Catholic school or a good public school in the suburbs. But to get
there's always a problem. But imagine if you're in most of the states where blue cities blue states, the teachers' unions will not allow vouchers. What are your choices as a mother of five, if you don't have the money to send your kid, you don't have the voucher system, what do you do home school? And that's a problem. Yeah, well that was my biggest
concern during COVID when they shuttle those schools down. And you think about how some of the especially in the inner cities, those are your essential workers, the ones that are driving the buses, working in the grocery stores, working at the restaurants, providing to social services, the blue collar working to people who help make our country run. And they're the ones that are having to leave. Their kids are unattended, their older kids are watching the younger kids.
They don't have the luxury of hiring the tutor or having that homeschool curriculum or doing any of those things. COVID did that. You know, The New York Times was the one that was pushing the lie about, you know, kids needing to be masked and the schools need needing to be shut down. And now the headline is that this is probably the greatest disaster for the American education system in history. That's devastating. Think about that, think about
the long term ramifications. And don't tell me that this is not intentional by China. Of course they did it on the southern border. They do it with fentanyl, they're doing it with COVID nineteen. And in the New York City public school system, there's one hundred thousand new kids in the public school system. The great majority don't speak English. And what do you do from the southern border when you have a fourteen year old who can't speak English,
has no educational achievement. Do you put them in the first grade as a fourteen year old? No, you put them as freshmen or sophomores. Completely dysfunctional. It ruins the education of the other kids. And New York Times basically said that, but there will be no fallout. You will not see the Teachers' Union say, you know what, we made a terrible mistake. It doesn't work that way, does it. No, it doesn't. Know. Going back to the point earlier about San Francisco, San Francisco and Gavin
Newsom. You know, Gavin Newsom, he was dining at you know, nice beautiful restaurants while everyone else was locked down. He sent his kids to posh private schools while all of Americans, less fortunate children were locked out of their public schools. This just continues to be the double standard that we see across the board with the left and the elites and the American people, and
it's just wrong. You know, Randy Winegarten, I hope that she goes in campaigns with all of the Democrats so people can see her and know who she stands with, so they vote just the opposite of what she stands for. The American Federation for Teachers has been very smart. They've been trying to endorse Republicans who they think they can pick off and not support issues like school
choice or vouchers. We've seen it happen in Texas, eighteen Republicans that didn't support the school choice bill that Governor Abbott has been pushing Those Republicans were supported by American Federation for Teachers, the National Teachers Union. They need to be moved. They've got to go. We have to advance school choice. We
need to get rid of Randy Wydengarten and start putting America's kids first. Now, lastly, Ashley Hike, we have a situation this morning and which on one of the talk shows, one of the commentators said that American women, I assume you're an American woman. I think your preferred pronoun as wife and
mother and woman. But nonetheless, as an American woman, you should feel proud if Kamala Harris becomes the first female president, will you pump your chest out and say, man, I'm proud that President Harris is now in charge. Well, that makes you proud to be an American. I can't believe that they knew what a woman was for once. That's amazing. I know what a woman was Yeah, let's start there. No, because I believe in having the right person for the job. That's what this country is supposed
to be about. Is I was talking with someone this morning. You look at the Press Secretary KJP, how she is she was chosen because she's a black lesbian woman like, how degrading for her that that is why she has that position. You look at Governor Newsom again appointing the Maryland Senator as a senator for California, or the Maryland Planned Parenthood activists as a senator for California. You couldn't find another qualified woman in the state of California. You see.
The problem is this administration and the left in general. They choose diversity picks. They don't choose the best person for the job. That's why you end up with someone in the Energy Department stealing a bunch of women's luggage and
not actually getting their job done. And that's why you have the crisis that we have from inflation to gas prices, to the economic issues to the education problems, because you're choosing people not because they're qualified, but based on the color of their skin or their gender, which I'm again glad they realize where a woman is well the kind of sex that you enjoyed, that I don't care what kind of sex you enjoy have at it. If you're setting adult,
I don't care. I don't want to publicize, I don't care live your life. I'm libertarian in that regard. But when the governor of California says, I'm picking a planned parenthood president in Maryland to be the US Senator, taking Dine Feinstein's place in California, and that pick kind of went over the top, and the media gave little or no attention. When a California governor picked somebody from Maryland who kills as many healthy babies as she can to
be our senator, it was like no big deal. That was disgusting. But the name of the book is Beat the Elites, and it's everywhere, especially on Amazon, and make a lot of sense on the holiday season. And once again, Ashley Hyak, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show and keep the faith because I think help is on the way. Thank you so much, God, God bless you. Let's continue with more.
And makes a good point. I guess California, with some sixty million residents, could not locate a person within the walls, within the confines of California to take the place to Dine Feinstein. Gavin Newsoen had to go three thousand miles away to find a planned parenthood leader in Maryland to become a US Senator from California. Bill Cunningham News Radio seven hundred WLW. My guess is that the number nine where he wears suit, he wears the Superman suit. He will learn
to throw left handed like number seven. Wow, So you think Joe Burrow may switch I'm just saying left handed, Well, he could be ambidexterrous by the time we see him on the field next he is Superman. I'm just saying, what did he say? Yes, Well, Lap a lot of

I'm not afraid what put in Tom Brady who takes them to the Super Bowl, and beyond, what happens if Jake the Snake brown Rings takes them to the Super Bowl Crown. Does Joe Burrow start

It was right here in this room a few weeks ago with Jeff Berding of the league best sixty nine points in twenty victories, you could barely lift and going on and going on to the title of the MLS. Tom Brady at the time was considered a low round draft
pick, correct with little chance of becoming a starting quarterback. Well, he spent one year with the Patriots, kind of on the taxi squad. Right and drew Bledsoe runs the ball is waylaid out of bounds by a Jets linebacker number twelve. Come on, X man up. He took them to win the Super Bowl. Well you mean to tell me that if Jake Browning takes the Bengals to the Super Bowl and wins it, that he's not going to be the starting quarterback next year. I don't know. I do know.
I'd say, set Joe Burrow down, set him down. I won Jake the Snake. If Jake the Snake sends them and wins the Super Bowl with the Bengals, yes, he will eat for free in this town for the rest. He wants to do the ray and the meat. Can you answer my question? Well, what about what? Then? Then? How much does he get the rest you're paying Burrow what to eighteen? Give him the seventy five, give him the rest, whatever you got, give it to him. Well, then you got to get rid of a lot of other

And of course the experts are telling me, after some of the recent debacles of our current presidential regime headed up by Joe Biden, that's the great California gov is going to be the next president of the United States. That Governor Newsom has the right stuff, comes from the largest state, and that the Democrats tell us what a great job
he's done in California. So Gavin Newsom is going to take the oath of office in January of twenty twenty five, and all is going to be well with the world. Thank god. We have someone has some information for those who don't live in California, have gone through the nightmare. It's called the California Catastrophe, and how to reform our broken system by John Cox. He's written extensively by Gavin Newsom. What's happening in California and John Cox, Welcome
to the Bill Cunningham Show. And first of all, give the American people an overview. Will no problem? Give the American people an overview of what living in California's been like under Gavin Newsom. Well, unless you're in the top one percent, Bill, it is really really difficult. Frankly, I living California because of the weather, and frankly a lot of people do. But you know, the politicians can't screw up the weather, but they really
screwed up just about everything else. Famously, California has the highest number of homeless. It's got a housing shortage, a water shortage, and energy shortage, all of which are caused by mismanagement and government. Frankly, our education system, we spend one hundred billion dollars a year on that's most that's higher than most state budgets, and the results rival Mississippi for some of the worst in the nation. We've got wildfires threatening us all the time. Our roads
are an absolute disaster. Crime is on the rise. I mean, you almost couldn't name one aspect of life here except you can get an abortion on every street corner just about. And the legislature leads the nation in enacting gun control, which hasn't had much of an impact on our crime rate. So you name it. We've got major difficulties here, but you wouldn't know them from the way the media treats our governor. Taxes through the roof. Also,
so many go to Nevada and Arizona, Utah. Let's deal with homelessness. When the communist dictator, the mass murderers usual Pain, came to visit San Francisco at the invite of Gavin or Newsom, all the homeless evaporated, the needles were cleaned up, the poop was gone. Where did the homeless go? Yeah, what happens a peace on this Well, gosh, you
know they got rid of them somehow. I mean, you never know what motivation does to people, right, Bill I mean, they knew that the city of San Francisco is going to be highlighted the world, frankly with this conference, and so they actually did something. They actually moved the ten cities out. Now, obviously they didn't deal with the problem permanently, because you still have these people who, let's face it, most of are drug addicted
or alcohol addicted, which is very sad. It's not passion, Bill, to leave someone who is addicted like that to live on the sidewalks. It's not compassionate to them, and it certainly isn't compassionate to the rest of us or to the businesses they have to try to exist in that situation. You know, it's kind of funny, Bill. The major newspapers in California, which usually love Gavin Newsom because he is so pro abortion and so pro gun
control, they actually criticized him. They actually published editorial pieces that basically said, what are you doing? You could deal with the problem, but you didn't do anything about it until the world came to San Francisco's doorstep. And you know, it just shows you the level of mismanagement, the level of
neglect on the part of these officials. And my book, Bill is designed to awaken people around the country to this mismanner man, and you know, make it clear that electing Gavin Newsom will make this country far worse than even Joe Biden could make it. You know, I live in Ohio. I'm a Midwestern or To think that a Chinese communist mass murderer gets better treatment in
California than an average citizen is disgusting. But I guess even in California, if you're Gavin Newsom, you think that's par for the course because the Democrats are promoting him as the substitution for Joe Biden, which I think is likely to happen. Let's talk about water and wildfires, which in Ohio, because of the Great Lakes, water is not an issue. Because of the Ohio
River, we have more water, freshwater we could ever use. I often say, I've often asked Presidents I as President Trump this, why can't we build pipelines from Ohio from the Mississippi River all the way out to Nevada or out to California. We have more water going by Cincinnati, billions of gallons every second we can never use and they've tried to do that, but they can't do it. Because of eminent domain, and it would be a fifteen
hundred mile pipeline. We have thousands of miles of pipeline, but we can't get some of the symbology done. Why is water right now? I'm told there's a new lake somewhere in Death Valley, and I'm told right now there's plenty of water, but they can't put it in the reservoirs because of ecological concerns. Can you explain it's mismanagement? Bill, I mean, the California Water Project started in the fifties and turn what were areas that were deserts basically
into Verden's agricultural paradises. I mean, California's agriculture is second to none in the world. We have two growing seasons here. But they've mismanagement. They haven't built a new reservoir Bill in fifty years. Now, think about that for a second. Fifty years ago, California's population was maybe fifteen million or something like that. Today it's forty and they haven't built a reservoir. I think Newsom finally finally allowed a permit to go through for a reservoir, but
we get plenty of ring. We got a ton of ring in snow last year and it's washed into the Pacific Ocean. And that's what happened five years ago. Now, you know, we go through cycles in California. Obviously there's some years we don't get much rain at all, and that was the reason they decided to build the California Water Project. Originally it's a series of canals and reservoirs that were very well engineered. But they've let it go to
seed. They haven't expanded it even as the population's gone up. And that is just mismanagement. And you know what it's related to, Bill, It's related to the rise and power of special interest groups and Sacramento and what do I mean? You've got environmental lobbyists who just will not allow anything to be done. And why because they raise all this money from people scaring them half to death. You know, the delta smelt the fish here there is going
to be extinctive. We don't you know if you don't give us, you know, a thousand dollars to you know, lobby legislators, Well guess what they raise all this money, they've got to spend it, and they then use it to kill any effort to manage the water system. Here, and it's the same thing with wildfires. They don't let anybody manage the forest because
touching the forest could mean disasters. And obviously they raise money off of those kinds of things, and they have to get something for the money they raise. And you know, unfortunately Sacramento is basically owned by these kinds of interest groups and Gavin Newsom is the leader of the band in that regard. Let's
talk about the public education system, which is completely collapse. The if you if you're a mother or a father, you got three kids and you want to send them to Los Angeles schools or the San Francisco schools somewhere, all of that character, what kind of education do you receive under Governor Gavin Newsom. Well, Gavin Newsom has turned the schools over to the unions. And
why because again it's all about money. The California Teachers Association has three hundred thousand members at one thousand dollars a piece, that's three hundred million dollars a year, and they use a lot of it to help politicians like Gavin Newsom, and they basically control the system. It's so interesting, Bill, I don't know if you saw it, but last weekend. The New York Times finally wrote an editorial that said that's shutting down the schools during the pandemic was
a bad idea. I mean I almost fell off like sheerl when I read that. Oh my lord, wow. And that's what Gavin Newsom. Gavin Newsom shut down the schools during the pandemic. He gave into the union and why again because they financed his campaigns and the kids suffer and we're not going to know the full extent of this something and this educational deficit for maybe decades now, and it really hurt. We have to do something about a government
per sale. I want to make a point, by the way, Bill, that my book is not just about the problems that Devin Newism is engendered in California. It's about a solution. I have a solution that would take the special interest money out of politics that would return good policy. It's called Here the People. It's all through the book. It's very popular with voters that we've done focus groups and they love it. It gets money out,
It gets the special interest money out. And Gavin Newsom is a prime example of a politician who runs his state according to what these special interest groups want and what they want is often what they benefit from, but the rest of us suffer with. And this is a problem in our politics all through the country. And this book, I think is going to hopefully be very popular with people who want to do something about our broken democracy. Name of the
book is Newsome Nightmare by John Cox. One issue that middle class. We have a vibrant middle class in most of the Midwest. Homes costs between two and three hundred thousand dollars. Most of the suburban public school districts function. There's little or no crime outside of the urban areas. As far as family formation, the great majority of parents show up at parent teacher conferences with an intac family ready to go. We have large functional parts a middle class American.
A man or a woman can live a relatively good life in large parts of Kentucky, Pennsylvania, Ohio. Is that true in California? Oh? God no. There was just a poll gun that said that sixty percent of the people in the Bay Area would leave if they could think about that for a second. That most people here actually would like to lead to some degree. It's just so expensive to live here. The housing shortages are just incredible. Bill. The cost of living is out of control, and Gavin Newsom
makes it worse every day. Just recently, I don't know if you're aware of this, but he enacted a twenty dour minimum wage for fast food workers. So they're picking out industries like that. Why because those industries, you know, and the unions who want to organize those industries are paying for this
kind of legislation. Well, a twenty dour minimum wage sounds great, and it may be necessary because the cost of living so great out here, but that is going to by itself increase the cost of living all the way down the line with his buddies and the legislatures just keeps increasing the cost of living
with these handouts to their favored groups. And again, you know, the average person can live a good life, as you said, And Pennsylvania, Ohio, because you've got a legislature that doesn't do this stuff, but ours is totally owned by these interest groups. And that's the reason that California is so so mismanaged and so difficult to live in. If a man or a woman, what the weather's great, But if a man or a woman wants
to live in a middle class area, what does a house cost. I have some family members who just bought a house for two hundred and sixty thousand dollars and a place called Deer Park, a suburb of Cincinnati. Good schools, good police, flatwalk. It's about two hundred and sixty thousand. Spend twenty grand, get a painting carpet under three hundred thousand. You're ready to go. What's a typical home middle class Americans? What does it cost?
In California? You're looking at five to six to eight hundred dollars a foot, So you're looking at a two thousand square foot house at six hundred hours the foot is a million two bill a million two, and it's a million two a million and yeah, I mean if you're a young person just starting out, it's it's almost impossible to afford a house with that kind of a cost. And by the way, the real estate taxes out here aren't cheap.
You know, they make a big deal sometimes about you know what taxes are like, but you know, our taxes are limited to one percent. But one percent of a million two bill is twelve thousand dollars a year. That's a lot of go to a family. One thousand dollars a month just for real estate taxes. I mean, you know, you have to be making two three hundred thousand hours a year in California to afford even a minimum lifestyle. And obviously that's not the case in Ohio or Presidentia or any most
anyplace else. In john Cox, you're not talking about a place on the Pacific Ocean. We're not talking about a place in a gated community with a golf horse. No, no, no, this is inland. Frankly, most people in California live an hour and a half two hours away from where they work because a lot of the businesses are located near the coast. But you can't afford a place near the coast, so you're driving an hour and a half each way. Think about that, and not only that bill,
the cost of gasoline in California is six hours a gallon right now. It's almost twice what you're paying in Ohio. Why because of special blends and special blends, by the way, environmental blends that have almost zero impact on the world's pollution. You know, these politicians out here make a big deal about
how, oh my god, California is leading the world on this. California's pollution bill is less than one percent of the world's pollution, and these differences of little differences and gasoline blends make a difference of maybe one tenth of one tenth of one percent of that. So you're meanwhile, China and India are putting up coal fire power plans like nobody's business. But these politicians out here make it seem like they're saving the whole world. It's a real problem.
And again it's a real problem trying to make a goal of life in the Golden State. Well, we got to run. But Gavin Newsom, the governor, has in the nation the worst need him as president. Oh my god, can you imagine him taking California principles to the entire nation with homelessness and out of housing difficulties, no water, public skills that suck, you can't get an education ramp, and crime taxes through the roof gasoline six dollars
a gallon. That's the guy that's got to become the next president. He's done great work. What happens in California, What happened to Chris That's the guy we got to put in charge. That is a joke. That's a joke. And you know what, also is a joke is our Congress. Bill, and I want to emphasize that people can go to hearthepeople dot Org. I am in this book talking about a way to reform our Congress. It's what we should be doing in California is what we should be doing all
across the nation. We should we should get the media and get the big money out of politics. Here the people does that by subdividing every congressional district into one hundred little tiny districts, and the one hundred people who are elected in these little tiny, you know, community districts, they select the congressmen to go to Washington. Good. The upshot of this is you get the money out. The only reason that our politicians are owned by these special interests
is because they have to spend millions to get elected. And we got to get rid of that now. Name of the book is Newsom's Nightmare, written by John. I wish you and yours nothing but the best, and John, once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Thank you, John, Thank you Bill. Let's continue with more Bill cunning and the Great American live with you every day. You're Home of the Bengals.

BRONC. Are you ready for the big question? Early day I told you to say for air, so now here we are hit it should have clear your mind and listen up. That's tough. In two thousand and one, okay, you may recall there was a quarterback for the New England Patriots that signed a one hundred million dollar contract, which today's term is about two hundred
and fifty million dollars cheap. He's going out the right side, he's getting near the sidelines in a Jets linebacker kaboom walloped Drew Bledsoe and took him out. And number twelve, what's your name again? Tom? What Brady? Thomas Allen Brady Michigan. He took that team to the Promised Land won the Super Bowl. You might recall that then an eight A lot of them rings here. Then in May of next year, the big thing was who's the
quarterback you got? Tom Brady got the one hundred million dollar man. Jake the Snake Browning. Let's jump ahead of your analogy here. Okay, I'm not done answering the question. Answer what is the questions involved in the go ahead? Go ahead? So jump ahead two or three months. It is now February the ninth. It's in Las Vegas. Jake the Snake Browning is holding the Lombardi Trophy over his head. Thank you, mister brown Bengals win. Bengals win Super Bowl. Coffin nails. They beat up on Bam Bam
the Philadelphia Eagles. Now it's not let me ask the question. It is now MVP of the Super Bowl. Jake Browning from Washington. He was recruited by Notre Dame and they rejected him. By the way, as a quarterback of Notre Dame, he goes to Washington his full circle. I'm just saying it is now, shall we say, July here comes Joe Burrow got the wire in the hand, get the bone, They're coming together. His little pinky looks like Anthony Muno is sticking out crookeds. Wh Who's the starting quarterback
for the Bengals? Is that Jake the Snake, MVP super Bowl champion? Yeah? If all they would have the question, what is the question? Or is it Joe Burrow who's under center in July? So, by the way, let me add, if you didn't know this, Jake Browning Okay, in high school fullsome high school his senior year had ninety one touchdowns. Yeah. Over his career he had two d and twenty nine touchdowns. Yeah, speak that Just how good this guy? Twenty nine touchdowns in high school
passing and rushing. He's got the chance, He's got the juice, he's got the talent. Well, you answered that he was a very good college quarterback. Answer the question is the question he starts if he does if he does all that stuff, then he starts. He said no, he said, Jack, you got Joe Joe Burrow make undred eight million dollars, I said, Jank to Snake, Browning steals the starting job from Joe Burrow by
winning this. If he would, if he would lead this team to a super Bowl victory, he absolutely would have to say always say you're insane. I played quarterback for Saint Saviors, not Xavior Saint Saviors, and you really limited quarterback? How many touchdown passes a do throw? Ninety one? Yeah, ye, so you're saying your mind, you're Saint Jacob ninety one just
his senior year. Joanah Williams was his teammate. So the guys, I mean the guy imagine us right now talking about in prison, so high school or something that has ninety one touchdowns this year. I mean everybody be talking about him right like, oh my god, what has gotten to sniff up to these twenty six Why isn't he got this league? Just hasn't found well? I mean, look, he's going thirty two of those jobs. This is my time country. We might have reached the promised Land with the Bengals.
So your shot here, it is right down the date to get your November twenty first. By the way, my wife's birthday is today, November twenty first, Happy birthday. Birthday. First. What kind of what kind of gift does the first lady get. I gave her a bottle of booze geez. Anyway, answer the question that's going to lead
to already answered the question. Yeah, if he would lead this scene to a super Bowl, you'd have to play like to start even with an opening competition. Burrows Burrows the backup. So you benched Joe Burrow to your point, it happened. It happened. Did anybody think, no, no, before the injury to Drew bloodsoe that that would he couldn't even start at Michigan over Drew Henson. He was like an He was a nobody at least take the snake through ninety one touchdown passes in high school. He was a good
high school quarterback and he hit some good games to Washington. Yeah, and but now he never got now his chance to play Pittsburgh and Mike Tomlin and then Jacksonville and in Dinnapolis, And then what is he going to be that much worse? Could he be that much worse than Kenny Pickett? I don't think Kenny Pickt is that great. What is there a chance the Bengals have the best quarterback on the field on Sunday. Yes, well there you go. So you're saying, sit down, don't let your no segment saying the
Bengals are going to get drilled this Sunday. But I'm behind Jake the Snake all the way with Ted McCain. You want to start Joe Burrow even where the other guy had let him do a Super Bowl pointing at me? Is that polite? The point? Super Bowl? Taggle the truth, Thank you, MVP, and you sit down the MVP. You just said it. He just said it. You're not on his back. Answer the question. Answer the question I already did. It's your turn, give me some sports

We want to make controversy. So and this is the world we live in where you're forced to apologize for things you said your

What is the record when she's not? They don't look by the way they look. They will to score a touchdown the second half in three games. I don't think, well, you better, guy, Andy Reid and the rest of them. You better get Taylor Swift back to the Drake Burrow to Kansas City. What do you get for Burrow in the
open market if Jake takes the job. Well, it all depends on the hand wrist. All I can say is I see a change a quarterback coming, just like the Patriots. And what if Jake taking the sixth thank you? What that is the stupidest idea I have ever heard. Thank you? What if they takes him to six Super Bowls? What would you say then, Jake Browning? I'm telling you right now, if he takes whatever takes glory to the great City of Cincinnati, whatever it takes, thank you?
Right? Do you trade Joe Burrow like they trade Jake Browning leads you to a super Bowl and he wins and he's unbelievable, and yes, you trade Joe. I mean think think of the fortune that I think how great that would be Because you're paying Jake Browning nothing. You'd get a probably two or three first round picks for Joe Burrow in the market. Who do you trade? This is ever going to happen in a million years? By the clarify, this is the date mark my this is the Jake Brownie who's cheap and
making nothing and you get three first round picks. The Bengals could they could do six trains. What I'm saying, you're out of your mind. You're insane. I'm just thinking outside the box.
