Billy cunning in the Great American Welcome. This floor is Monday afternoon and the Tri State Rets Baseball kicks off at six oh five. They beat the Yankees, they beat the Fellies, beat the Dodgers. Simply can't beat Detroit.
Hopefully he can beat the Rockies in this next weekend, maybe Miami. But until then, a terrible incident took place in Florence, Boone County about three or four days ago, and which during a happy birthday twenty one year old party, results in four dead, three shot and at this point everyone is still ferring out what happened. Fortunately, I hate to say the word fortunately, but the defendant, the murderer, Chase Garvey, killed himself and that
saved a lot of people a lot of trouble. But it's a tragedy. This isn't Chicago, for God's sakes. This is Florence. Joan on you and I now is a Boone County resident. Is Brian Hamrick of the Power of Five and Brian Hamrick Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. Brian, how are you good? Thanks again? This for cunning Ham. I know
as we sit here at twelve oh seven pm on Monday afternoon. You're hard at work tracking down the history of the murderer, who is Chase Garvey, And seemingly a lot is going to come out later today and maybe tomorrow, but at least in the beginning, it appears he was under probation or parole for a sexual assault in Kenton County. And we have a call in to the prosecutor there to Rob Sanders to fill in the blanks on that one, and thats still to be determined. But let's talk about the murder itself at
this point. What do we know about seven people shot in Florence? Four are dead. Yeah, this was just a you know, the twenty first birthday party. They had kids from you know, really around the neighborhood that these kids had known. You know, my kids knew a lot of the kids that were at this party. They knew some of the folks there. I know some of the parents some of these victims. I did not know the folks that were hosting the party, but I didn't know some of the
kids. And some of the kids that have been at the party have been at my house, you know now and then they show up, you know, it's just the kids. Some of the kids are involved in a car club. My kids are involved in it. It's an awesome car club. In fact, they're going to have a memorial for Hayden, one of the victims here in the next I think it's Tuesday night, seven thirty up at Cresview Hills. The kids just go out, they have a good time.
They have cars. You don't have to have a fancy car, you just have to love cars. And they talk cars. So a lot of the kids that were there were involved in the car club. Mike, Like I said, my kids are involved in it. So they all kind of knew each other. I think a lot of these kids went to like urpen back there's something the parents all kind of know each other there in the neighborhood. This this is just literally across forty two from from where I live, you
know, and so you know, we kind of everybody. It's had a huge effect on the entire community down there. Everybody's just totally stunned by it. And you know, it's it's a neighborhood I've been. We had a lot of neighbors who used to live up there. We used to go into that same neighborhood all the time. You know, and so yeah, very difficult to for I think a lot of people because you know, you know how it is when you know everybody in the school where they all went to
school together. Do you get this effects a lot of people's lives, you know that were have been involved for years with these with these families and Brian, as far as a motive, is there any sense as to a motive why that this is a murderous, insane rampage. Melissa Parrott forty four was killed, the mother, Shane Miller twenty killed, Hayden Rebeccy twenty of Elsmere
murdered Delaney Airy nineteen of Burlington. Any sense of a motive. So here's what we're here, and this is what we're hearing from the The ex husband of the woman that was killed, that you know, lives at the house where they had to party. So apparently this Chase Garvey had been a troublemaker and he had been creating problems for a while. They had another birthday party at the father's house. This birthday party was for the son, and they
had another birthday party for him the night before. I guess it's the ex husband and the ex wife and then the kids. So the father had had a party for him the night before. He tells us that Chase Garvey showed up at that they had to call the police. He was like stalking them and acting the cizar, and so they had to get him. He wasn't invited to any of these things. Most of the kids din't even know who he was. He shows up, and then the next night he shows up.
I understand they had to call the police want him to begin with, but he shows up again. And when he shows up again, he has the gun. So apparently a lot of this shooting happened out in the front yard of this residence. The way the father describes it is his daughter, Chloe, whose sister of the young man they were having the party. Four looks like he may be one of the first people to encounter this gunman. I don't know if she knew him, didn't know him, what her situation
was. He ends up shooting her I think two different times. One shot definitely goes through the chest. The father says it's a through and through shot. She goes down. Her mother then comes to kind of take defend her daughter and get in front of and according to the father, the mother's action saved the daughter that she took the next bullet. And then this guy just goes on a shooting rampage, shooting anybody and everybody, yes, you know,
without regard. The police pull up at some point one of the kids, somebody calls nine to one one. They get the messy in a very short time. Police show up on the scene. They say they're still hearing gunshots when they get there. So I don't know how long this lasted, or if the police were just so close that they happen to get there that quick. But he exits the house, he gets in his vehicle, he
takes off. Other police responding see him turn around, give chase, and he gets down to off of forty two you can turn and go on the hicks Pike down toward rich Wood, and he was making that turn and he crashes out, and I guess they learn he had shot himself, either on the drive, ran into the or whatever. I was down in that area the other day and just saw so where he had ditched the car. So whether he shot himself and crashed or crashed and shot himself, they don't know
yet. And the Star was trying to figure that out as far as the murderer, Kenton County records show that he was. This is the murder who's only twenty one years old, showed that in twenty twenty one, he was arrested in Kenton County charged with the rape of a thirteen year old girl, and normally that would be an extremely serious matter, but in April of twenty three, about a year later, he was sentenced to five years of probation.
When you pled guilty to unlawful transaction with a miner, a felony, and the court by an agreed plead, and we have calls in the Rob Sanders agreed plead broke it down from the rape of a miner, which would be life imprisonment, to something where he gets probation, and so he was out on probation. I'm sure on probation he can't have a gun, but
that's a secondary matter in this regard. And I think it's illustrative that the party the father threw for his twenty one year old son and that the murderer, Chase Garvey, shows up with that something may have occurred at that that caused him the next day or two to go over there and track him down at three o'clock in the morning. We're talking three am or on Friday on
Saturday, which is quite unusual. Yeah, he apparently had an ex girlfriend or something that he was upset with or I don't see, had broken up, whatever it was, but he was upset with that and that's what drew him to the party. Apparently she may have been at both of these parties or whatever, so that's what he was there for. And then whoever got in his way or whatever snapped in his kid's head, he then just opens up fire on whoever happened to be there. Like I said, a lot
of these kids had no idea who this kid even was. They had no attachment to him, They didn't know anything about him. I mean, this kind of violence is like a virus. One person has some attachment to it, everybody else in the whole place is affected by it and infected by it. It's unbelievable. And we've had other reporting that the neighbors I think you
had some interviews or one of your cohorts there had neighbors. When a twenty one year old has a birthday party, it's kind of like the first time I guess you can legally drink and it's a right of passage, I guess to have some alcohol. But the family host that many of the other neighbors would go in and out of the party, say how you doing, Happy
birthday, et cetera, and they left. And by the time two point fifty one am rolled around on Friday morning, it was like a lot of people had no idea who this guy was and where he got the gun, et cetera. That's going to be an FBI to pursue that done. But this family is totally devastated. Since you lived there in Boone County and Tony Bender lives in Boone County. Whenever I have on anyone like Jesse Burger from Boone County, it is safe, it is saying it's secure. You never
hear a gunshot. It's one of the best places to live. And has this unsettled Chot said the community in Florence, Oh, I think so, you know, nobody thinks they're immune to this, but you really don't expect it to happen. You know it could, but you know, I can't think of anything that that we The last like mass shooting down in that area was when the kid who was with the Ryle high school had shot his family, and then he goes to the high school and the and the teachers have
to talk him out of a mask. This was long before call um bye any of that. I can't remember the kid's name something right, Yeah, And that was all, you know, horrific thing down in that same area. But again, you just don't expect something like that to happen. Uh, you know, and the kids, you know, a lot of times in these shootings, you know a lot of the ones that we cover, there's trouble brewing long before the shooting ever happened, and you've got some warning
signs something's gonna happen. What makes this one different is these kids didn't have any trouble brewing. There was no there was nobody that was into something that might draw this kind of activity to them. By all accounts, all these kids were just you know, regular kids having a good time and it's a birthday party. Uh. There's no indication that there was any kind of activity that would have drawn somebody there that we see in a lot of these other
shootings. This is a nutcase who showed up and just started firing on innocent kids. Had nothing to do with anything because I didn't even notice kids, some of them. Geez, I don't know how you prevent this. Alcohol may have played a part. I'm sure that's going to be part of the investigation down the road. Some sort of boyfriend girlfriend's situation with Chase Garvey,
the murderer, and things got awry. He shoots one, the mother saves the all the once through her chest came out and she's in the hospital by the way, expected to live, and the mother's behavior saved her daughter's life. The father. That father attributes the daughter being allowed to her mother's action. He says that the bullet went through and through. It didn't hit any
vital arteries. Uh, didn't hit any organs. I guess she broke some ribs and the lung was affected, and that's what they're watching to try and make sure her her lungs are clear before they release her. He was hoping maybe even sometime this week, though, which is amazing. Anybody's getting shot through the chest and maybe you're released within a week of being shot. I think she was hit again, maybe in the arm of the wrist or something
as well. But the psychological you know, damage to you know, have her mother shot and die right in front of her. It's just you know, going to be devastating and thinking this this young man who is turning twenty one now it's his twenty his birthday, any birth day is the day his sister was shot, his mom was shot to death by this nutcase who who just snapped. So yeah, it's the psychological damage and the damage to the
community through these families. And then the kid goes and shoots himself, you know too, he gets out of all the you know, any kind of responsibility for anything. They you know, I talked to Florence police today. They did say there could be more charges. They figure out why this kid had to god and how he got it because being a convicted felon, he wasn't allowed to have this guy, so, you know, he somebody got
it to him. You know, we've had so many cases of these people stealing guns out of cars and all this, and then you know that's kind of how they get through the community. Would have easily been some situation like that, we don't know, you know, highly unlikely. This is a you know, a responsible gun owner just hands this gun over to a to a kid. Well, that'd be the definition not responsible gun owner. Just handed over to a convicted fellon because he couldn't get it any other way.
They figure out how he got that gun. You know, there could be charges against so much. Twenty one year old Brendan Parrott survived. It was his birthday party. All this took place is his mother is dead, his sister is wounded coming out of the hospital. Plus we can't forget about Delane Erie of Burlington, or Hayden Rebickie of Ellesmere, Shane Miller from Florence or dead and along with the mother and Melissa Parrot just a tragedy. And I
we'll see what happens down the road. And I'm sure later on, Rob Sanders there have a lot to say about this. So we'll see how he got the probation. If he actually raped a thirteen year old as an eighteen year old three years ago, Chase Garvey should still be in Kentucky State prison. But there was something about the case that caused the charges to be severely reduced to a felony, but nonetheless probation. And so you'll be on it
all afternoon. We'll watch tonight seeing and you'll have more stuff tonight. I would imagine as you continue to investigation, we'll have more. We'll have more of this interview with the father, you know, at this point, I think we're the only ones that get the interview with the father. Daid Kershaw was able to talk to him last night. And then I'll have more on case Garby. I literally just got all the court documents in Getting County,
and there's a ton of them. It's like a phone book. I'm trying to rifle through those right now, like literally just got those. Uh So we'll have more on that what's in those court documents, and then Todd diys is doing more with the victims and and anybody that knew these folks, because I mean, it's just it's just I'm believable. All these kids are just young kids are just like twenty years old at twenty one, you know.
And there is and we can't forget about the other there's two other people that were shot and injured, and they expect very being expected be released as well before too long. So you know, fortunately those who were wounded, it looks like they're going to recover. Courting your court records, Garvey had two previous felony convictions for rape, and the first degree sodomy in the second degree,
both heading back to twenty twenty one. So I think we have to pursue that because when you're eighteen years old, you're convicted of rape and sodomy, and then another case takes place of a kid, a thirteen year old and they get probation. We'll track that down. But once again, Brian Hamrick, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show, and good luck to you cutting out. I thank you very much, Brian Hamrick, let's continue sick and said we're going to pursue the angle of why would a convicted
rapist be given a break on the rape of a thirteen year old? Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred WLW. I need a small order of sheet metal. Can you help yup at metal supermarkets? No order is too small even for home projects. Yep, metal cuts aside. All right, hit the music, Dave, Hit the music, Dave Keaton. Another week of broadcast Superbity begins right now, Monday afternoon. It's twelve forty one pm.
You heard from Brian Hamrick about the awful circumstances and all of us are tracking down and looks like one of the rape cases came out of Boone County. I've called the Boone County Prosecutricks and I've called Kenton County. So we're going to track it down. As to why this guy was out is beyond me. And he was out and he had a gun with all of which was
illegal and devastated a family in the Florence community. We'll track it down later today plus after one o'clock away, Frank Frank Lerosa will be here to talk about the mechanics of conducting elections when one of the major parties appears to be in complete turmoil, turmoil that is the Democratic Party, and what happens at this point, God only knows and he's not talking. So this morning on Morning Joe and I watched that, so you don't have to. Joe Biden
called in unannounced at about a fifteen minute interview. He could not be more firm, he could not be more definite, could not be more dug in than he was this morning on Morning Joe. That he spoke about how the Democratic voters are with him, that he got eighty seven percent of the primary voter, he's the nominee and he's not stepping it out for this so called quote party elites unquote Hell I thought Joe Biden was a party elite. I
guess he's not elite anymore. Spent forty eight years in the Senate, and he spent about eight years as vice president, has been president for about four years in a sense. So we're talking about a guy with about fifty five years of service in the Democrat Party, held every significant position in Washington, and he's not elite. Someone else's elite. So that's the way it is. And many other Democratic activists, like Van Jones says, quote, let's
accept that Harris is our nominee. More Dems backing VP Kamala Harris to top the two, and the more Biden digs in, the more the Democratic Party apparatics say, no way, Jose. So we're going to spend some time with Frank Lerosa in about twenty five minutes to talk about, well, what happens if, say before the convention Democratic Convention in August, or during the convention or after the convention. Finally, Democratic Party says he's not a nominee.
Is there a drop dead date right now? It is September the first. By that, I mean the Democrats Republicans got together in our House and Senate in Columbus and passed the law signed by the Governor Mike DeWine to making September first to drop dead date. By that, I mean so the convention can take place the middle of August in Chicago, which should be an excrement show worthy to be watched. And then they will transmit to all the state
secretaries of state who the nominee is. And then beginning the first week in September, I believe that ballots will be printed. And at that point you can't turn back because the ballots are printed. So what happens then if sometime in October, if the Democrat Party wants to change nominees at that point and make Kamala Harris the nominee, can that happen? I'm gonna ask Frankle Rose
to question. I think the answer is no. As you may know, in the past, there has been individuals who have died by the time the printing in the ballots took place and the actual voting occurred, and they're elected in a sense, but they can't take office. There's a vacancy and almost every position as a what if occurs, and then someone else takes the position.
The only way that the Democratic Party can get rid of Joe Biden is if Kamala Harris and eight of the fifteen cabinet officials say they suggest that he's
not capable of discharging his duties. If that happens, that twenty fifth Amendment, Section four kicks in, and that says, among other things, then whenever the President transmits to I'm sorry, whenever the Vice President and a majority of the Cabinet transmits to the President pro time of the Senate and Speaker of the House their written declaration that the President is unable to discharge the duties and powers of the office of President, the Vice President shall immediately assume the powers
and duties of the office as acting president. So if Kamala Harris gets together and gets eight of the fifteen officials the cabinet officials to say Biden cannot discharge the duties, which of course he can't, then they transmit that written declaration to the House into the Senate, and thereafter, from the second that occurs, Biden is out of office and Kamala Harris is the acting is the acting president, and then the President can say, now hold up on that car,
I disagree so within I shall resume the office of Vice president majority of other chemino. So at that point, forty eight hours from the time the petition is filed, the so called last president in this case, Biden has forty eight hours to inform the Congress whether he disagrees with that decision. So he can say, nah, baby, nah, I disagree. No,
we're not going to I don't agree with that. So then at that point the Congress, if it's not in session within twenty one days the receipt of the latter written declaration, so Vice President Kamala Harris and eight of the fifteen cabinet officials say he can't discharge the duties. If Biden says I disagree within forty eight hours, then the Congress, within twenty one days of the receipt of the written declaration shall determine by two thirds vote of the House and two
thirds vote of the Senate whether the President is able or not able. All this goes rather quickly, would you agree, because in these difficult times, we need to know who's the leader. So the Kamala Harris and eight of the fifteen of the power at twelve forty seven pm Eastern time on Monday to get Biden out of office. If they want to do that, now, there's a mechanism for that to occur. Now, politically, I don't know
about the politics of this. I know many of my friends, my buddies, those I speak would say, well, whether Trump runs against Biden or Harris is the same result. I'm not willing to buy that. I'll tell you why in a few minutes. But Section four of the twenty fifth Amendment lays out what has to happen. If the VP and most of the cabinet says Biden has lost his mind, and if Biden disagrees within forty eight hours of that petition being signed within twenty one days, the Congress must determine.
Now, the Congress determines the rules of that. Do they have a hearing, do they have a trial? Do they have depositions? Do they have cross examination? Who testifies? Completely up to the Congress, the House, and the Senate. So then by two thirds vote in the House. In the Senate, they determine whether Kamala Harris remains as the acting president or Joe
Biden is returned to office. All happens, certainly within three weeks. It's over one way or another there it is, so at this point, what listening to Morning Joe this morning, and I listened, so you don't have to. It's wonderful. Joe Biden calls in. He could not be more definite in stating I'm not stepping down. I'm ready to go running against the
elite. He talked about the fact that he got eighty seven percent of the primary vote, that the people have decided they determine who's our nominee, not the officeholders and not the rich folks who are funding the Democrat Party. It's up to you in the primary. In fact, in Ohio, I got Frank Larrose coming on in about fifteen minutes. We're going to determine at that
point what is the procedure in the state of Ohio. Ohio caught some flack because she had to let people know one hundred and twenty days before the election who the nominee of the party was, and because it was the middle of August, the Democratic Convention was after the one hundred and twenty day mark, and so the law was changed under the leadership of Mike DeWine to give the parties, really both parties, but mainly the Democrats time to sort this out.
We right now, we're in uncharted waters. Put me in the category of those who believe that there is a nightmare scenario for the Republicans and Trump to lose against Kamala Harris. I know what you're thinking, it's not going to happen. But if it does happen, as a conservative libertarian, I would much rather have Trump run against Joe Biden than Trump run against Kamala Harris.
For this reason. She has a long and undistinguished history. She says a whole bunch of stupid things and doing stupid things, including raising money to get out of jail that George Floyd protesters and murderers in Minneapolis. She put
together and participated in a fund to get the criminals out of jail. The George Floyd matter, which was a ridiculous circumstance when that morphed from a convicted drug dealer high on fentanyl, and when the coroner got the body at George Floyd, the coroner said, look, this person died of cocaine slash, heroine intoxication and heart disease. Within a few days after that, Benjamin Crump got involved and got a different corner to say, you know what, the
cop killed George Floyd, which I do not believe is the case. Now, should the cop had kept him pinned down for nine minutes, as his training indicated, he should maybe some point, whether a minute or two into it, should have let him up. But if he couldn't breathe, he wouldn't be speaking. Shall we say, without breath, you can't speak. But that's a different matter. But she participated in the Black Lives Matter protest
to get the criminals out of prison. She also said harsh things completely about Joe Biden in the past about opposing school busing. She also conducted an office in the San Francisco in which the city was in an utter collapse. She wanted to defund the police in San Francisco. We see the result of that. Despite all that, whenever the Democratic Party unites behind a candidate and is a fearsome opponent, very difficult, difficult when you put all the elements together
in one piece. Be careful for what you wish, because the nightmare scenario would be a united Democrat Party against Donald Trump. And that means all the elements of the Democrat Party, including the mainstream media, the college campuses, the late night talk shows, to view newspapers, etc. Would all get behind the young, vibrant, hard charging Kamala Harris to be our next president. And I know the polling indicates that she runs better right now than Joe
Biden. Most of my buddies think, you got to be kidding me. She's completely incompetent. Of course she is. But until the monster known as the Democratic Party moves in one direction, it's very very difficult to beat the Democratic Party when it's united, very difficult. It is a thing to behold from college campuses to late night talk show host the editorialists, to PBS, ABC, NBCCBS, and it's a wonderful thing to behold when they say,
you know what, we're going to move against somebody. In this case it was Donald Trump as the president and now seeking reelection. Very very difficult for
a Republican to beat the Democratic machine. And if they get close, ballots magically appear all over the place, and the three or four states that truly matter Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan, Pennsylvania, there's millions and millions of college students in those states that have not been registered to vote, that will be registered to vote and will vote and it's going to be very difficult to beat it. Right now, the Democratic Party is decimated, it's bad shape.
Who knows that's what's going to happen in Chicago in five or six weeks. I have no idea I know right now I'm confident that Donald Trump can beat Joe Biden. I am not confident when the Democratic Party would you not unite behind a young, youthful, heart charging vice president despite her disaster on the Southern Border, despite the fact every job she's held shee did poorly. They're
not going to talk about that at all. It's going to be they're going to turn their guns away from Joe Biden, turn to the right and say there's Donald Trump, and they're going to go after him with hooks and claws and more so, she has all kinds of weaknesses that might be fleshed out during an ordinary campaign, but Republicans will only have about three months in a tr trunk headed campaign to define Kamala Harris differently, differently than the mainstream media
will define her. And there's other individuals out there like Wes Moore, the Maryland governor, who is an Obama lookalike that the media would simply love him. The media will collapse and support a person of color running for the presidency, that being Kamala Harris. My buddies disagree. I disagree with them. It'd be hard for Donald Trump to actually beat Kamala Harris. It will be somewhat simple for him to beat Joe Biden. And let's see how it plays
out. So to get all the answers we have coming up in about ten minutes, the Secretary of State in charge of elections are the drop dead dates. Who's on the ballot, who's not on the ballot, What if happened? What if Biden leaves the race in August or September? What happens after that? So let's continue. If a line becomes available five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand. The Reds Baseball kicks off about six oh five tonight. Colorado is in town, and they really stink.
And then after that as the Miami Marlins, they stink even worse. So if the Reds are going to make hey in the second half these seven games, the Reds must go at least six and one or seven to zero. As I predicted on Friday, I said this on the air, having the Reds swept the Yankees in New York Detroit, will come to Cincinnati and my ball mark the Great American and sweep the Reds. No one believes it
now they do. Troll fifty six HOMEO Reds News Radio seven hundred w O you be had gone three to two d the good Red Fire Jonathan any working a thess rock your dumbs roll to the plate, A good one has a chance they gone. It's Roger Morris, all right, Billy
hunting in the Great American. This Monday afternoon in the Tri State, getting ready for Reds baseball tonight. Having swept the Yankees three straight off on Thursday, they get swept by the Tigers, a terrible baseball team. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Of course, I predicted that on Friday, having swept the Yankees, they'll get swept by the Tigers. Seven games until the All Star Break, four against the Rockies and the Fish. The Marlins are in
town. Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The Reds must win all seven. But before them Reds Baseball starts about six oh five, six ten tonight, by the way, But until then, there's so much fold roll about what's going to happen with the ballot. I listened this morning to Morning Joe so that Frank LeRose would not have to, and Joe Biden called in unimpeded
and simply spoke for about twenty minutes, answering some questions. Did not appear to be the same dere lookt he was during the debate, nor with George Stephanopolis. But many have said, including my producer Tony Bender, how do you get on and get off the ballot in Ohio? If down the road the Democrats decide to get him off the ballot? Can that work? Joan? You and I now is the chief elections officer of the state of Ohio.
Franklerose and Frank LeRose welcome this Monday afternoon of the Bill Cunningham Show. But first of all, can you tell the American people and the mechanics it's now July the eighth, and the convention is not until the middle of August. I think the line that you've have put in through the legislature. So just tell the American people how would Joe Biden get on to get off the
ballot if a switch is made sometime in August or September. Well, first of all, thank you for watching that terrible liberal program, So I didn't have this morning, Billy Bill. It's a state by state process, and I think a lot of people lose track of this. It is a fifty
state election. Each state has their own rules. In Ohio, the rule has long been that the party has to choose their candidate by a convention and let us know what that candidate is going to be president and vice presidential candidate ninety days before the election. And I was the one that notified the Democrats a few months ago that they're on track to miss that. They at that
time said, well, we're going to have a virtual convention. We're going to go ahead and nominate Joe Biden early via a phone call or a zoom meeting or something, which they're free to do. They did that in twenty twenty. Really, whatever mechanism they come up with as a party to choose their their nominee as fine with me. And uh, you know, then the state legislature, with the governor's urging, decided to step in and and and and give him a little bit more time, which has been done in
the past, nothing unusual. So they now have until the really the first of September to get this done. And there's no mechanism after that to change things. And so, uh, you know, the pressures on for them to figure out who they want their their their candidate to be. I can tell you this. I think the American people saw plainly why Joe Biden is not fit for the job. And uh, you know, it's a thing that happens to all of us at some point, but he's he's passed his
prime and he's not ready to do this job for another four years. And so between now, you have almost eight weeks between now and September first, and uh, at that point, by September first, the Democrats got to get serious and say yay or nay Joe Biden. This morning was this Adamman. He was attacking the Democratic Party this morning saying that I got eighty seven percent of the vote in the primary. I dare you to take me on
at the convention, because that's anti democratic. How can you run a campaign, he said about the threat to democracy that Donald Trump presents, which I don't fully understand. But nonetheless, how do we run a campaign that we're a threat to democracy? When you tell the candidate that got eighty seven percent of the vote, you can't be the candidate? And I thought, my gosh, that's the first thing cogent that Joe Biden said in a long time.
If you get eighty seven percent of the vote, he said, don't let the back room cigar stomping rich folks in the Democratic Party take it away from you. Doesn't it make sense, though, if you get eighty seven percent of the vote, you used to be the nominee. Well, again, it's going to be up to him if he chooses to withdraw. Until then, it appears that those delegates are promised to him. I mean, that's the way that works. Each state elects their delegates, those delegates are
generally pledged to a camp. And really, when those delegates, those Democratic Convention delegates show up at the convention, they don't really have much agency to any agency to choose who they want. They are there specifically to cast their votes for Joe Biden. And so until he decides to drop out of the race. Those delegates don't have any choice, no matter. But here's the thing. This reminds me of a of a large scale version of what every
family has dealt with at some point. We dealt with it with my grandparents and like, hey, listen, guys, you shouldn't be driving anymore. You're a danger to yourself. And in this case, we're talking about the most important and powerful position on the planet. And I get it. He doesn't want to admit to himself or to others that he's not capable of doing this. I'm not a gerryontologist, I'm not a doctor, but I do have two good ears and well, at least pretty good after fourteen years as
a Green Beret, but pretty good ears and pretty good eyes. And what I saw on stage of the debate in this interviews that he's been doing and before and since then, is that's just not up to the most challenging and demanding job on the plane. He may have good days and bad days, but you need somebody that performs consistently at the top of their game to be
the commander in chief of the world's most legal military. Well, let's play this out a little bit let's say he gets the nomination, He's got eighty seven percent of the delegate vote, The balloons come down, the confetti's blown all over the place. In Chicago, the rioting is kept a minimum, even though over the weekend in Chicago more than one hundred people got shot. That's a lot more than in Florence, Kentucky, for example. But nonetheless,
let's say that happens. And here we are, like they say, okay, Frank Lrose, you're the chief elections officer, one of the leaders in the nation when it comes to fair and balloting and make it easy to vote and hard to cheat. And here's the nominee, and you certify. Okay. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris are the nominees for president and vice president.
And here we get to I don't know, pick a date, September tenth, as well, after the time by which he's on the ballot, And something happens to Joe and he comes to he somersaults down the steps. He can no longer do backflips, he can't read the Bible backwards anymore. And the Democratic Party says he's not going to be the nominated. It's going to be Kamala Harris. How would it work after September first, well after September one under Ohio's law, And in most dates, it's too late.
That's the candidate on the ballot. Listen, there's logistics to this. We have to print millions of ballots, we have to program hundreds, maybe thousands of voting machines, we have to start sending out overseas military ballots forty six days before the election, and so there's a point in time where it's just too late to make any changes. And listen, we're all tend to be procrastinator from time to time. That's why deadlines exist. And that's the deadline.
If you go past that, his name is still on the ballot and there's nothing you can do about it. Haven't there been in the past, those elected to office of one type or another that are dead. I've read somewhere and over the years that somebody about let's say there's an episode from that
old TV show The West Wig about this exact topic. Yeah, and it can happen, and then it's you know, again, the laws are different in each state, but it's handled like a vacancy, just like when someone exists in the state legislature or in and they die or resign or whatever else, then there's a vacancy to fill, and there's a variety of processes that that that they go into. That Listen, I don't think that the nation.
I don't think that. You know, hundreds of millions of registered voters in this country are going to vote for a person who has publicly announced that he doesn't intend to take the job. And so it creates a it creates a really difficult scenario. This is not a partisan thing. I'm a proud partisan Republican. But we need some who's capable of doing the job and and
and this man's not for my from my opinion. So if something happens after the deadline, it's Biden Harris and uh, let's say Biden cannot take the oath of office and the Electoral College actually votes him the president when he's incapacitated or dead, and then other laws kick in about Kamala Harris, who becomes the who becomes the acting president and then she takes the oath? Could all
that happen? Could something happen where Joe Biden is the actual person on the ballot, Joe Biden wins come electoral time middle of December, they're pledged to Joe Biden. Let's say he's dead or mentally incapacitated. They vote for Joe Biden. And then come January twentieth, does Kamala Harris take the oath of office? Is she the president even though she was wasn't elected following new you're
pile a new ground here. This is a this is the place that we as a nation in our young two and forty eight years, and this is the vision of a constitutional crisis. It would probably result in some sort of action by Congress, it may result in some sort of action by the US Supreme Court, and let's hope, let's hope to hell we can avoid that, because this is not good for the civic health of our nation. No, and so this is why the right thing for him to do would be
to gracefully bow out at this point. But listen, if he chooses not to, we're going to as a party work hard to beat him. And that's what we do. And so at this point, in one hundred and twenty days, I'm just over one hundred and twenty I'm just under one hundred and twenty days. It's going to be up to the voters to choose the right person for the job. I know who I'm voting for, and that's
Donald J. Trump. So come November the fifth. Of course, voting starts around the first week in October, and here it is the first week in July, and so you know, we're three months away from actually voting. There is a drop dead date some I hate to use that term, sometime in September that it cannot be changed. But that's up to the Democrats
to determine. I guess we're blessed. Frank le rose to live an interest times because I didn't think it was possible that the Democratic president would verbally assault the leadership of his own party that wants him out. That is unbelievable. It's a remarkable thing that's happening here and well again, as a Republican, I'm just kind of sitting back to watch what the Democrats decide to do.
As Ohios chief elections officer, I can tell you this, We're going to follow the law in the buck I stayed and it's the novel idea that I have that we should follow the law. I was attacked for this just a couple of weeks ago when I told the Democrats, if they don't certify their candidate on time, he's not going to be on the ballot again. They called it a technicality. Cincinnati's own David Pepper, who's a detestable son of a dud, said that I'm playing politics and all of this because it's a
technicality. No, it's not a technicality. It's the law. And as Ohios chief elections officer, you don't want a Secretary of State who is unmoored from the rule of law. You want somebody that's going to follow the law as it's written. That's what you can count on me to do. Now,
lastly, about a minute remaining, Frank LeRose Secretary of State. The speculation by my producer Tony Bender and others is that jd Vance, who I text with now and then he's a good man, is likely to be the VP if he's elected as the VP with Donald Trump in the come middle of December, the electors get together and then they get sworn in. There's a vacancy, and one name being mentioned prominently to get the vacancy would be you.
If somehow those circumstances happen which do not appear to be unlikely. In fact, one might say they're likely. Would you accept the job as a sitting US Senator. Well, let's unpack this a little bit. First of all, I think JD. Vance would be an excellent choice. I supported in fact, that was the first state wide office order to support him in his primary a couple of years ago. He would be a great running mate
and a great vice president for President Trump. Listen, As you know, I ran for the US Senate a couple months ago, and the reason I was running is because we have a country. To say, I think it would be a good thing to have a Green Beret in the US Senate that brings significant combat and special operations experience, and brings significant elections administration experience. There are currently zero members of the Senate who still serve in the armed forces.
As you know, I'm still a reservist in the Army. That's unusual. Throughout American history, We've normally had a few members of the Senate who's still serve in uniform. That's the case right now that there are zero. And so yeah, this is something I'd absolutely consider. I think that this country is worth serving and fighting for, and I think that the US would be a great place I could do that. A lot of speculation, a big what if. Right now, I'm enjoying being the Ohio Secretary of State
and making sure that it's easy to vote and hard to achieve. Well, that sounds like a yes to me. But someone's got to tell the national media that Ohio is not going to keep Joe Biden off the ballot. I heard over the week and again that Ohio is going to try to keep Joe
Biden off the ballot. There's no relationship to that statement in reality, because the legislature, the governor assigned a law giving the Democrats and Republicans till September one, and after that it's a drop dead date because all these other things have to happen, printing, balance checking machines, et cetera. We'll see what happens. Based upon this morning's interviewer in Morning Joe, there's no way
Joe Biden's getting out of the race. And if that occurs, I'm gonna lose about fifteen hot fut Sundays. I've bet for a long time he's not going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party. Based upon this morning's conversation, the NATO heads are coming to Washington Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. He'll be in no situations in a campaign next weekend, then the next weekend after that's the Republican Convention in Milwaukee, and away we go for Frank LaRose.
Thanks for clearing things up, and thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And Frank, you're a great American. Next time instead of hot bunch Sundays making a lrosis pizza, go right. That a great week. Thank you, Frank ought to have the number three four seven one, Frank Lerosa, Thank you very much, and we continue. Thank you, Frank, all right, let's continue with more coming up later. Your comments at five one, three seven, four nine, seven thousand, and it's amazing.
I'm gonna lose a bunch of bets of he's the nominee because he is digging his heels in against the Democratic Party. So we'll see where that goes. Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred WLW. When it came to mornings, I just wanted to lay in bed like a beached whale, all spread out in blobbery. Now I jump out of bed, jump out of bed, jump out of bed, so I can listen to Mike McConnell. Elvis is a rooster, thank you very much. Alvis is going to carry a ball to the mound where Baxter, a Reds employee, will throw out the first pin, maybe a little Reds outfit for him, a cap which we think we'll fit on the comb, and then the ball will go in a little pouch from senersy Field,
Matt Reese News Radio seven hundred WLW. Hello, quiet, and I'm broadcasting. Did you know Elvis is coming back? We wanted to know where the King was and I didn't know he was a triple A Losville somewhere must have been going, it must have. It must have been had another name or something that's Matt Reese from the archives. Maybe they need that rooster down there to do something. Remember what I said on Friday after the Reds got back
having swept the Yankees. I said, the way they're playing, Tigers will likely sweep the Reds. What happened. It's embarrassing, not even close. It's embarrassing. And I'm looking at Mary the guy on steroids, hitting one fifty. Yeah, and I'm looking at Espinal hitting two thirty. I'm looking at Jake Frayley hitting uh two sixty. Everywhere I look, I see individuals Tyler Stevens and a good guy hitting two thirty. Only one playing well is
Jonathan India, Your your friend. Benson's hitting one eighty nine. He's got more strikeouts than Bob Feller. And so they weren't and they weren't playing, you know, they weren't facing Denny McLain, Mickey Lolitch over the weekend, or at or Cabrera or Fielder or al Kly Cash or Bill Freehan or Gates Brown over the weekend. Who they play? I don't know who those guys are. No, I hate, I have no idea. The hammer for the for the Tigers was yesterday and he did how many thousands of times is
this team? Will he come off a road trip? Great, great road trip. You sweep the Yankees into and send that town into an absolute frenzy. Term they probably wanted to get to a fire, Aaron Boone and the rest of them. Then you come home and you put the bed. But now they got seven games against the Rocks and the Fish. I would say that to the Rockies are in last in the West, Miami is last in
the East, and I'd be saying, now seven in a row. I'm saying, now, no split into the series six out of seven or seven in a row, or that's it. I understand there might be another player hurt. We got ten on the IR the d L ten. But what about now Stuart Fairchild. I guess I think it's his back. Got a bad back. Oh you see how for a week, a month, a
year. What about Lodolo coming back tomorrows? Supposedly all right? Will he the stood reporters of Proud Service, every local tame Star Heating air conditioning dealers Tamestar quality you can feel in Western hills called Derbot Heating and cool to get five one, three, five, nine, eight, eighty four forty nine or go to Durwin Heating and Cooling dot com sports. A dude has struck out thirteen in a row or thirteen batters yesterday in seven innings, Taric Scobull,
what's his name? Taric Scobul? You knew that I'm the cream with a crock. His tenth went allowed only three hits to our mighty Breads. Pretty good. So the first of for tonight against the Rocks, who come to town to thirty two and fifty eight Airtime six' ten Sports Talk RNL carriers Inside Pitch and then Kelsey Chevrolet Extra Ding Show after the game. Ryan Feldner or Feldner will go for the Rocks tonight. I believe he's one in
seven and Andrew Abbott will counter for the Reds. The Reds made a late night trade. What overnight? What acquiring outfielder Austin Slater from the Giants in exchange for pitcher Alex Young. Reds outfield's currently a mess. As you know what about Fairchild? TJ Friedle Nick Martini on the IL. Jake Frehley out
on a family medical leave. Fairchild is hurting, so Slater at batting two oh two, just forty three games he missed a month after suffering at concussion crashing into the center field wall against the Reds in San Francisco on May the tenth. Not been right sick. Only good news. Yesterday Willie was Red shorts dub Lie de la Cruz, number forty four, National League All Star Team. What is Barry Larkin say about all this? How about Marte?
No, he's off balance throwing the ball. He looked like that guy had a third Corbyn Brunson on Major League. Let's get almost olaid that one yesterday. Let's get number eleven down there, Barry Martin, you know you know what they need. They need a little talking from the cowboy used to take a whip. Number forty five needs to go down there and straighten them out. He carry his forty five bingo. We'll be Jeff Brandley and Barry Larkin.
But as you witnessed on Saturday night, FC Cincinnati moves into first place in the East with a six to one pasting of Inner Miami CF. Without Messy, I don't think it would have made any difference. No. In fact, I'll say now Acosta is better than MESSI fccal host of the Charlotte team this Saturday night? Are they the Queen Cities? Now we're the Queen city. They call themselves the Queen City. Let's see FC Cincinnati's Miles Robinson.
It's going to be joining the United States Olympic team headed to Paris for the summer games at the end of the month. That's going to be a mess. Let's see whether they got riots over there now right just for the hell of it. Yeah, they this riot at the drop of a hat over there, like black Lives matter. Just riot. Yucon's men's basketball coach Dan Hurley has agreed to a new six year, fifty million dollar contract through the twenty twenty nine to thirty season. John Miller say about this, he's
looking for a race. Probably went into great Christopher, give me the money, Greg, can we talk for a minute. Give me the mirror Sean, how's things going? Give me the money. Let's see the Bengals nine sundays away from the start of the National Football League deadline for possible tea for a possible t Higgins extension quickly approaching. It's July fifteenth, that's Monday to you, mister. That won't happened. No, there's no indication that an
extension is imminent. So it looks like Higgins will play for that what twenty one million dollars franchise tender? What would you would you play for twenty one mil? Yeah, I'm going to get Tim McGee on some point soon. The prior to tennessee the president of the Middletown Pickleball Association. The rumors of his demise have been a bit premature. Correct, we're all going to walk that pat segment. All we do is delay the inevitable. But Tim McGee,
it's going to be here as a Bengal analyst. Well, now, talk about your experiences Saturday night. You went to the West End with the first lady. She came out at night and yes, she's like kind of like Michelle Obama something like that, or maybe what was the first lady's impressions of the soccer match. She should ask her who was she wearing? I don't know what what target target her clothes? You fool? They always say in the carpet, who are you wearing? You know Louis Baton carpet?
Yeah, you know, like if the oscars, who are you wearing? And don't say? What do you say? Who? Don't you know about fashion? You fool? Now look at me. That's good points same way to you. But it was I don't know about that. I think I look pretty good. So do I. Well, only one of us is right. But uh, the game itself was exciting. I watched it. Did she like it? From your perspective? Yes, she liked it.
Spend time with the Caboda dealer, your good friend and Claire Chris Backler, back back, the King, Chris Goodman, some banker from county who's rich runs a bank. There we had Jeff Birding of course, DJ Hodge and John Cranley, the mayor Warmer mayor. What a group that must have. Wow, a lot of power brokers and food was great, the chairing, walking around, touching the hem of the American people. You didn't leave to
go to the bailey and take your shirt off, did you. I did not want to embarrass the male members there, so I said no. They wanted to pass me from the beginning to all the way up to the top and back. I will not be handled by that many people inappropriately, so I left at halftime. Of course, I think the score was four or five to one, and it was over. When you get two goals up in soccer, it's over. It's O v er right, it's over. But they were five goals up and Messi was not there. He's still with
Argentina. Well, and I asked Jeff Birding the question that you didn't answer, how come the best Americans do not play for the Copa Cabana team in America? Copa America, that's it. Why don't they do it? He said, because they're committed too many times in you Europe right committed to MLS. Don't want him to go correct and we and he said he made the point that what what if what if the top athletes for the Bengals and the Reds, Well, what if Dela Cruz as a young man took up soccer,
What if Jamar Chase took up soccer? I think they'd be pretty good. I would say so yeah, but they don't do that. So the bessex foot seven, uh hot soccer player would be unde. I'd put him in the goal, but they you know the goalkeeper. Any short guys like a Costa, correct the balls down there. The higher you get it, you're away from the ball. Get close to the ball. Correct. And Acosta dribbled right, he left Sala Salah and Caka Kaka and Pele was not
very tall. He what he's dead, but uh, Costa goes left, he goes right, goes left, goes right, Boom hits the ball and all of a sudden you got a goal. I did suggest to make the goal bigger. I think a foot higher and two feet wider would allow more goals. Would you agree, No, just leave it like it is. You're not going to get anything changed in soccer. You know they only wanted going to change in anything in soccer. Is the Almighty Well when he talks
to Joe Biden. We know that because Joe said, only God and tell him not to run. Well, he was at that church the other day that the preacher gave him some money. He didn't know what to do with it. I thought he's going to put it in his pocket. He said he got to put it in the offering plate. He didn't know where it was. You know, religious charitable charts like that cannot host a political gathering.
And now what about that? What about those the Philadelphia radio people fired that had the they had the answers given to him or the questions, and they got let go after after the after that, the interview they did with the President not said the woman who was fired, she showed bad judgment. I mean, the White House gives you the questions. And that's public radio, right public it's NPR, yeah, and it's run by African Americans Philadelphia.
I'm feel sorry for the for the woman lost her job and what she did was what the President wanted to do, ask me these questions, right, and she did. Then the owner of this said, see, you wouldn't want to be you, and out she goes. And so I don't want to see somebody getting fired. But Joe Biden got another black woman fired. And what I want to know is one guy has kept quiet this entire time. Right, he currently resides in South Florida, and you haven't heard
a no whisper out of Donald John Trump. I talked to Jeff Beckham about this, the brother or David. He said, look, when your opponent's beating yourself up, don't get in between. And I said, that's a good point. But here's the story. Wurd Word, Philadelphia based black owned radio station, is part of Ways with his host. Her name is Andrea
Lawful Sanders. She admitted during U seeing an interview on Saturday morning that Biden's team sent her eight questions to ask the president, and she read off the eight questions and he answered all the so called questions, and the owner of the station got a case of the goo go against miss Sanders, which is quite said no reason. Sure she should not lose her job. Biden should lose his job, right, but uh, we'll see what happens tonight.
Though the Rocks are in town, and I want to see the Reds won at least six of seven, possibly seven of seven going into the break, and then after the break, which they that's terrible. They'll beat Atlanta, Tampa Bay all on the road. They'll beat them all on the road. Atlanta, Atlanta's got no shot against the Reds. I don't know. They're pretty good. Well, how we're how good with the Yankees. The Bread's
caught him at a good time. The Dodgers take it easy, winning right, take it easy, winning record, They beat it easy, they beat him, take it easy. I'm just saying, well, what they did when they came off the Yankee sweep, there's no consistently inconsistent swept by the Tigers. They need to Greg Vaughan. They needed Kevin Mitchell. They need somebody get in there and kick some ass. What I'm saying, Kevin Mitchell,
get in there. Bengo Mitchell, sit there. If somebody does something goofy, he just knocks him in the head, like the Three Stooges. I liked him. He was difficult, very difficult. It they'll mess with him, no, because he'd break you in half like a pretzel, like a dried pretzel. Bengo Boom, And I felt that I felt a little bit of sometimes the tie rate of Kevin Mitchell. Just leave him alone waiting
for a bone to be broken. The Reds right now are too happy and joyous and come by eye, and they need somebody to like mister ass Right said, maybe this would be a perfect time for you to go down there and talk about America, talk about you know what what it takes to be a winner, since you've been a winner all your life. I'm gonna have maybe you and Rocky ought to go down there and talk to him. I'm gonna have to go down there. He's a super Bowl champion, You're a
champion. I'll take my dear Park High School ring. You'll take it down at your jersey. Take it down there. Don't you have a red jersey with your name SAA's Paul Heaven got the IQ in the back, thank you? Seven hundred right, take that down? See what adds I mean something. Somebody's got to get a bad attitude down there and say this is unacceptable right direct, because right now they're about five out of the Wildcard with six
teams in between. They're closer than only half game out of last place, playoffs, playoffs, playoffs if they win the next seven, and we'll be talking playoffs and Bengals starting about two weeks. Have mercy time on that segment. Get me out of the student's report in many issues, so little time willye and Honor of the Red Lakes hopefully tonight getting it back on track after the train wreck over the weekend. How do you lose to the tigers.
We leave you with the immortal words of the student report. Depending on us to win all the things anyway? We have to win all the things, all the things. All the things are colleagues, not depending on us to win all the things. Keep going any ay to preserve democracy. Wait much, win all the things relegance. We will go. We're back. We will keep going forward because we are the hey yay. We are the ny yay. We are the heada yay. Losing my mind needs to be committed.
Her name is Becky Pringle, named after a potato chip. Get all the things, get all the things? What are all the things? He's the top teacher, talking about top teacher in the country. What are all the things? She's in charge of educating your kids? Great? Becky Pringle, named after a potato chip. I'm glad I'm not in school anymore. Aren't she's in charge? Yeah? What are the things? By the way, I don't know what are all the things? I don't know what are
all the things she's talking about? All the things? You know what they are? You don't want to talk. You can't handle the truth. I know. Let's continue with more seven hundred all our High Heart Radio Music Festival. Is it in buy capital WIBs credit, that's credit, Enter it now, Billy Cunningham. During the break, of course, I spend lots of time speaking of the power brokers thither and fro, many in office, not
some of the grandfathers and the grandmothers of the Republican Party. One of the grandmothers of the Republican Party, of course, is Michelle Schneider, who gave to me a scenario. She's one of the Trump delegates. Makes sense to me, and I'm saying all along, I'm not changing Joe Biden will not be the nominee of the Democrat Party. She says. The scenario is set and it's going to start to building. It's building right now as we speak.
But the Democrats did not want to pull the plug on Biden now because you have the twenty eight or thirty eight ministers of NATO coming to Washington starting tonight and tomorrow, and so the need this week to be somewhat flaccid and
placid into all the NATO time leave on Thursday and Friday. Then at that point, assuming Biden performs as he has been, which is incapable of discharging the duties during the week of the Republican convention in Milwaukee is when the Democratic Party will strike sometime toward the end of next week, when Trump's going to give his great acceptance speech in Milwaukee. At that point, the whole news is going to be about Joe Biden stepping down as a nominee and maybe stepping
down as president. Politically, it makes great sense for Joe Biden to pick a time sometime in August to say that I'm stepping down. Can you imagine the Democratic convention in Chicago. If the rumors are Joe Biden will withdraw from the presidency and give it to which he can legally do under the twenty fifth Amendment. Just give the presidency to Kamala Harris. Here's the acting President, Kamala Harris. Right here. She comes out to the applause of tens of
thousands in the hall. Millions millions have left doing Democratic sick offense all over the country, and the campaign begins within much younger. I think Kamala Harris is fifty nine or sixty years old, and she's held no distinguished positions whatsoever, and which she performed well, whether it was a local Prosecutor's office in San Francisco, remember to fund the police or the Attorney general of the state of California, complete unmitigated disaster. And then becoming us senator and now the
Vice president quote also president of the Senate. And this thing is set up on the end of next week when the RNC concludes its duties to have Joe Biden announced these withdrawing not just as a candidate, but withdrawing is the president under the twenty fifth Amendment, that the acting president will be Kamala Harris. Happy days are here again. The Democrats go nuts, drop the balloons, throw around the confetti. She begins campaigning from that point on, much younger
candidate. And I've said before and I'll say it again that what happens is that if the Democratic Party unites, they are when they galvanize, they are a force unlike anything we've seen in modern politics. When the Democratic Party gets behind someone full throated, when the college is the universities, that the tech giants with five hundred million dollars to register new voters in Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, when all the talk show hosts go nuts for Kamala Harris, the first person
of color to be elected to the presidency. Here we go the View, the late night ABC, NBCCBS, all the newspapers, college campuses, all the labor unions, all the left wing political groups, the Green New Deal, Happy Days, here, here again, and here is Kamala Harris. I know what you're thinking. I can read your mind. You're saying, oh my gosh, that would be better. No, it would not be better. Let me give you a little bit of a history, which Michelle
Schneider is very much aware of because she lived most of it. In nineteen oh one or the election of nineteen hundred, when William McKinley from All was elected to the presidency. There was a hard charging, younger Republican that angered people. He'd been in the prosecutor's office. He's going after individuals New York City, and he's fighting like crazy. His name was Teddy Roosevelt. So the Republicans at that point saying, look, let's get rid of this guy,
Teddy Roosevelt. Let's make him. Let's make him the vice president for God's sakes. Okay, great idea. Well, McKinley gets shot, tr becomes the president, gets re elected in nineteen oh four, and most including yours truly loved the administration, the panash, the style, the charge up to the hill altitude of Teddy Roosevelt. So Teddy Roosevelt, perceived to be a clown, became one of the best Republican presidents of all time. He
was putting the vice presidency to bury him. He used it as a launching pad to glory and for some the judgment seat of God. Several decades later, everyone knew around FDR. It feels like everyone knows around Joe Biden that mentally incompetent. But in nineteen forty four, when FDR is running for his fourth term, he had one appearance in that whole campaign season in Brooklyn to give a speech, of course, in his wheelchair. The media covered up
FDR's physical disability. So just like today's media covers up the mental disability of Joe Biden until June the twenty seventh. Now they're piling on and the guns are pointed toward at this point Joe Biden. But at some point they're going to turn to their right go after Donald Trump. But I regress it was perceived in nineteen forty four there was a couple of real strong Democrats who wanted to be the VP, but FDR said, I don't want some VP overshading
me. Let's get that. What about that haberdasher from Missouri from Independence, what's his name, Trueman or something like that, make him the vice president? And so at that point the FDR had the coyones and the panache. FDR could do anything he wanted. In the Democrat party in nineteen forty four, Let's ignore these strong Democrats and let's put let's put that Truman guy. And people laughed about it at the time, saying, Okay, Truman's done.
Little did most know that FDR was almost on his deathbed when he took office on January the twenty, nineteen forty five. He only lived about another seventy five days. He was dying, and he when he was finally dead, Truman was in Missouri and he got a telegraph to a Secret Service agent who gave it to him, and he thought it was a joke because he hadn't met with Truman in months. And FDR completely ignored Harry S. Truman. By the way, by the way, the S stands for S.
There's no middle name. Truman became the president. People said, you got to be kidding me. Harry Truman's the president well over the next eight years. He made practically every right decision to be made everyone, and he left office loved and rest inspected as the years went by. Harry Truman, a vice president buried in the vice presidency, is now regarded as one of the top ten presidents of all time because he handled the dropping of the bombs on
Nagasaki and Roshimo of Roshima. But for that decision, yours truly may not be with you today because my dad was in shit, was on ships to the eastern side of Japan, ready to invade jump had a few more years. You might recall nineteen sixty Democratic Convention where in Los Angeles, and at that point John F. Kennedy more or less has sewed up the nomination, but LBJ Lyndon Baines Johnson was running also, and the two didn't get along
very well at all. But JFK needed Texas to get the nomination and needed Texas to win the presidency, so people said, we'll take him out of the Senate. He's kind of a clown, and let's make him the vice president LBJ November twenty second, nineteen sixty three on that plane is in as the next president. Within a year, that clown and the vice presidency became one of the most popular Democrats of all time and continues held in awe by
most of the Democrat Party. So jump ahead to now here we are where on July the eighth of twenty twenty four, we have another clown in the vice presidency whose ratings are very low. Now, polling was not done on Teddy Roosevelt in nineteen oh one, nor in Harry Truman in nineteen forty four, nor on LBJ in nineteen sixty, but there are numerous examples in American history where little known and distri respected vice presidents take over the presidency unexpectedly and
rise to glory and win elections. Tr won in nineteen oh four handily, and of course Truman in nineteen forty eight one handily over Wendell Wilkie, and then of course in nineteen sixty four, LBJ I think had one of the great democratic sweeps in Democratic history over Barry Goldwater. And so for those who say maybe you're one of them, that, don't worry, Kamala Harris is going to be easy to beat. O contrere mon frere. There's lots of
reasons why this is the case. But when the Democrats are united and galvanized behind one candidate, they are a political force like nothing we've seen in modern politics. Their ability to muster votes, both real and fake, is unmatched, and their will to raw power rivals anything I've read about any novel from the nineteen seventies or eighties. In any election, any candidate, the Democrats are very very hard to beat, in fact, almost impossible. Could Trump
beat Kamala Harris, Yes, but I'm dubious. She would certainly be the weakest of the non bind Democratic candidates, but they would galvanize around her nonetheless, especially because of her gender and race, and the age and feebleness issue would be gone in any argument that could be made that once you remove that, Democrats could easily use their massive political machines to get almost anyone elected. Democrats are like a pack of dogs. They follow the leader Wherever the leader
goes, That's where the Democrats go. Republicans, though there is a loudmouth Republicans all over the place going after Donald Trump, Republicans are like hurting cats. Democrats are dogs, and when they get their massive political machinery behind one person. They're very very hard to beat. Right now, Kamala the headhunter Harris is pulling much better than Donald Trump. And if they go to any other option, now they got a problem. People talk about maybe Gavin Newsoen
or Whitmer I had. John Cranley's going to come on tomorrow to talk about that, plus maybe Maryland Governor Wes Moore, whatever it might be, he solves problem. But other than Michelle Obama, Kamala Harris, in my view, would be as strong or stronger a non Biden Democrat as anyone could conjure because of her color, and because of where she's from, and because how she's lived her life. Her mother's from India, her father's from Jamaica.
She spent years in Canada raised as a child, but she claims to be an African American. And for those who say, you know what, it's impossible, I can recall when Texas A and M about a month ago lost in the finals to a team from Tennessee, that the Texas A and M coach said at the news conference one night, how proud he is to be an Aggie, how he's going to continue to rebuild the the AGI program. He's not going anywhere. Within twelve hours he took the job at Texas.
So let's face it, Joe Biden is in the race until he's not in the race, and when the Democrats once you've gone, you're gone, and the Democratic Party is close by the end of this week, he'll be gone unless with NATO ministers here, he rises like a phoenix and appears to be
presidential. I think it's possible that could happen, that would delay the inevitable, But don't put me in the category of those who think that beating Kamala Harris behind a United Democrat Party is going to be that easy of function. So then we must turn to the fact of Kamala Harris herself. What kind of job has she done in the past, whatever she's chosen to do, she's the Queen of DEI. One of the worst things she did d on the George Floyd riots. In the summer of twenty twenty, she went on
CBS's Stephen Colbert. I don't watch him at all. I may watch Morning Joe, so you don't have to, but I'm not going to watch Stephen Colbert. But I've read the YouTube. I've seen the YouTube clips. As the cities were burning and as the riots were ongoing, and thousands of black, brown, and white small busines since owners were decapitated, and there were dozens and dozens of deaths and murders, billions of dollars in damage. She
set up a fund to get the rioters out of jail. Quote they're not going to let up, and we should not and we should not let up quote unquote. So she encouraged the rioting and in fact raised money to get the rioters out of jail. Secondly, in March of twenty twenty one,
Joe Biden gave her the job of taking care of the southern border. She has presided over the biggest collapse in border security in the nation's history, worth more than ten million illegal immigrants flowing into the country, including hunters from the Tara watch list, and she's the one in charge. And on top of that, the cackling news conference with a Polish prime minister. She did some sort of child actor video on space exploration at the same time. Afghanistan collapsed
in August of twenty twenty one. It's a highlight reel, a confusion and humiliation and more recently, she went after Joe Biden during the nominating process in twenty twenty, in which she often referenced to Joe Biden's mental collapses, and she also made reference to the fact that all the women that have come forward to oppose Joe Biden and being sexually assorted by them should be heard. Now,
the media doesn't cover this, but of course I do. I know Sean Hannity does, I know Glenn Beck does, and a few others. But there's numerous women that have accused Joe Biden of numerous acts of assault rape, and you know none of their names. I don't think you can name one of the women that were charged by Joe Biden with committing vicious sexual assaults by him on them. But you've heard the name, of course, of Stormy Daniels and Karen McDougall, and the Gene Carroll. You've heard their names.
But the women that have accused Joe Biden of rape and sexual assault over the years, the media completely buried it, along with the fact that in her diary, the Great American is not saying it happened. I'm saying Ashley Biden, the biological daughter of Joe and Joe Biden. In her own diary and own handwriting, accused her father, Joe Biden, of forcing her to shower with him repeatedly as a small girl, causing her sex addiction and her
drug problems. I'm not saying it happened. I'm saying that Ashley Biden said it happened, and the media course ignored that completely. So there you go. Put that in your pipe and smoke it. It's not over yet. Whether it's Biden or Harris is going to be very, very difficult to beat
the Democratic machine. Two twenty six HOMEREDS News Radio seven hundred WLW. Depending on us to win all the things, anyay, we have to win all the things, all the things, all the things our colleagues are depending on us to win all the things, keep going any to preserve democracy. Wait much win all
the things elegance. Wait, won't go back. We will keep going forward because we are the Nyay. We are the ny Yay, we are the henyay. Oh hello, quiet, and I'm skos. I'm broadcasting Rock. That's the Top Teachers Union president. What are the things? What are all the things that woman's annoying? Becky him screaming like a lunatic named after a potato chip Pringle? What are all the things? Rock? What are they? What are they think? It's everything? Well? What are all the
things? Everything? Everything? She's educating our children? Okay, oh boy, right, weren't screwed and you're telling me speaking about screwed? Hit this about this. But I'm just gonna have my two cents because I wasn't here on the day that y'all talked about it. I don't care if he's cooped his pants. I don't care if he can't put a sentence together, show me he can't do the job, and then I'll say, Okay, maybe
it's time to go. He had a bad night the first time that he went out and debated with Kamila Harris and everybody wanted him to quit that and say you can't talk to women like this, and you're doing this wrong, you're doing that wrong. He came back said, you know what, I got it and gave four years. So, yeah, I have poopy days all the time. I step in so much pool you can't even imagine. Now, I'm not running the world, but I don't know anybody who doesn't
step in stuff at some point. So I'm just simply saying, yet, there are two debates, and if he can't do what he needs to do for the second debate, I'll join any crew that says get rid of him, but loyalty to me. If you are doing the job. I might not like everything you're doing. I don't like it all, not everything, but I'm gonna stand behind you like those guys stand behind the guy who should have been the person that people were talking about saying, yeah, Biden had
a bad but this guy couldn't tell the truth. If it's split his slip, it's everything. But nobody said that but said that, I believe what's something. She's not quite as callful as I. But the question now, the question now is because lots of Democrats are coming out and saying that's it. I can't take it any more. Rock, you watched the View? I guess, huh, I do. I've watched it every morning with my coffee, so I had a pull. That is a cut. Do you
poop your pants when that happens? I do not. Who's your favorite on the View? Then? Rock? Is Elizabeth Hasselbeck still on that show? I have no idea. I think you like joy Behar. You like her? She's a loud maun comedian. So let me ask you, guys this honest question. I'll ask you both. You guys might be a Whoopee fan. So what if let's flip things around. Let's say Trump was in a dementia like state, okay, and let's say Biden was like cognitively like circa
two thousand and eight Biden okay? Would complete a sentence? Yes? Would you be calling for Donald Trump to step down to save the country. We need someone who's in full control of his facilities to run the country, regardless of politics. Would you be doing the saying the same? Trump is coma toast? I'm with them, okay? Does you have a heartbeat? Yes? I'm with them? Right? So I guess what I'm saying is you can't blame the other side when they would say I would vote for Joe Biden
if he was a vegetable over Trump. I get that idea, but why, I mean, this country is so divided. There's no convincing the other side of anything. No, And which is why I have said on this show, on my show all the time, there is no compromise. Somebody must win, somebody must lose, there's no back and forth. Always gotta
win. I fear next week at the end, when Trump is in his glory moment in Milwaukee, that that's when Joe Biden is going to come out and say I turn over the presidency to Kamala, the headhunter, Harris Kamala come out. You're just hoping that happens O me, And like the whole Trice Saint a hot fudgy because I'm saying now Joe Biden will not be the nominee of the Democrat Party, and that he will. I will call it into a squat boxes that show Tuesday every morning. I listened to it live.
I listened now on that phone call that you I'm sure you heard, I did ask me how many aids with Q cards. We're standing around him on that phone, call them say that words better than a teleprompter better, all of them better. And he got no less than fifteen ads around him telling him say this, okay, now'll go to Q card two. I'll go to Q card seven along with the doc. I spoke to the of the Republican delegation to Milwaukee who told me that they anticipate next week it will
it won't happen this week because of NATO. He's got thirty eight heads of state coming here Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, and by so this week is this aunt calm down, being limbo, and then next week is when the Democratic Party says with me, Joe, it's up now. That would fit into the thought process that this was an inside job that the Democrat heads want
this to happen to publicly embarrass him. Why else would they have that debate so early that he was terrible and everyone knew is gonna be terrible, And then followed up with George Stephanopoulos interview that they also knew he was gonna do terrible in they wouldn't do that unless they wanted him out right. Orial it's all set up this way, I see it and saying I had all I couldn't believe like they're they're they're doing this on purpose, on purpose. It's
happening and real. It's what's say, do you believe or do you believe? In Olivia Dunne with the scheme's character? What do you think about? Okay, that's his name, right, Lucho to you, Lucio, whatever he is applying for his American citizenship him that would allow him to play for America instead of whoever they Portugal or whoever hell
country's from. Well, I think he's from Mexico. But I talked to Jeff Birding about this and communications are now engaged with JD Vance to expedite the application of Acosta, the brother of Jim Acosta of CNN correct the same bak, same guy to get his American citizenship. And it's a struggle. I said to Jeff BIRDI we got twelve million right coming across. That's okay, but you got a asked that wants to be an American and being an ambassador
for the country, and you know what, it's tough. I'm not sure we can get it done. I said, what about these other twelve million should have walked across the boarder soon? Who's who's in better shape? Joe Burrow or Paul Skeins? Olivia done this? An answer? Is that question right there? Whatever you say, Rock, look at her holding onto Joe Burrow, Paul Skeins want to look at look it at LSU bounce. That's the last thing he wants to look at. Is Olivia Dunn hanging out
with three of the most NFL players and also have ties to LSU. And as Joe Burrow serious about quarterbacking, he's now been to the Promised Land. He's transitioning to a runway model and he's a fashionista. Is this a possibility that our quarterback may end up on a runway somewhere in a fashionista somewhere in Monico where I spend some time. I don't like all the talk about post NFL career stuff. I want to hear more about being nothing but eating,

We got Dave had he talking about I guess all the the hoaxes that are out there with this presidential election and AI that's using it with

question for you. I'm certing an article. I guess there's a big standoff between tennis players and pickleball players. The tennis players don't like the pickle ball players. The pickleball players don't like the tennis players, because the tennis players don't like the pickball players, because the pick the ball players come on the tennis courts and play pickle ball. And I guess in these ritzy communities like the one you live in, they consider noise pollution because of the that the
ball makes every time you hit it. Yeah, noise pollution, noise pollution. Shut up, I'm saying, shot up like fireworks. Pages, play your tennis, leave the pickleball people alone. Davis challenging, He say, everybody did, But is this going to turn into like a bite thing with pickleball and tennis? Everything must be controversy night, Irene. We got enough problems in this country, correct. How about Russia attacking a children's hospital and

But uh I I see nothing but chaos wherever I see on this show, Chaos in my life. I mean all this, I can't. The only one not experiencing chaos right now is Paul Skins and Lance, Well, no, as I take that back, you're right, big Paul. I see Olivia Dunn looking at Joe Burrow, just saying that'd be some action, just saying she leaves
