Rob Mcalinny. When I see the people of Wrexham, I grew up exactly like them, and I think that that transcends culture. Check out the Art the Entry ARM show. That is a R D HI hand s R I R A M Show. Listen to the Art the Industry M Show on the iHeart Video app. Oh wherever you get your podcast? I Builly Cunningham The Great America A glorious Tuesday afternoon. The storms have blew through Covington. It looked like almost a hurricane. And also coming up later as Reds Baseball.

The Reds cannot beat the Brewers. They're gonna try tonight again. First pitch about eight ten, coverage about six ten, and Atlance McAllister has gone through a pitch by pitch analysis and every pitch missed by the umpire hurt the Reds one way or the other. There's some conspiracy afoot, but nonetheless they played tonight, got two more games against Milwaukee and then they're through the end of

the year, which is a good thing. But until then, Rob Sanders walcome again into Bill Cunningham Show, and Rob, how bad was it last night in Covington? Willie I was still working last night when that storm blew through, and you know, I felt like I was back in New Orleans and my college days where it was Hurricane Alley, because it sure felt like a hurricane was coming through the way, that the rain was blown through,

and the trees were bent over, and it was mayhem down here. But you know, the good thing about storms like that as it keeps crime down, so you don't really have to worry about any kind of shenanigans going on from the criminals when they're getting blown down the street, so it hasn't benefits.

All right, that's good. I can recall your classic comment two or three years ago at the end of the year, we've had no murders in Getting County, and you better never say that again because you've got nothing that Willie won't say that. I jinks the heck out of us for the next year. I tell you what. We managed to make it through one, but then we had a tidal wave the next year kept me plenty busy. I'm still digging out of those murder cases. So yeah, we won't be

commenting on our lack of murders anytime soon. All right, let's talk about Jacob Bumpus bump ass as I call him. Seventeen year old Page Johnson. Recall when it occurred, like thirteen years ago, kind of explained the involvement in Kenton County, and they're trying to find the we believe although there's no the coroner could not find a cause of death, the murder of Page Johnson. What was your involvement, Well, Willie, this is a man.

This feels like this case has been going on my entire career and I don't know if I have ever been as happy about a conviction that I didn't win as I was yesterday when I heard the judge read the guilty verdict from a jury out in Claremont County. And congratulations to Zach Zipper and Clay Tharpe, the two assistant Claremont County attorneys. They prosecuted this case. They did a

heck of a job. But to give you a little recap, this case goes all the way back to twenty ten and Page Johnson at the time was the seventeen year old young lady, She's mother. One she left her house in the evening hours out in Florence, Kentucky, told her mom that she was going to visit her sister and Covington. In fact, she was picked up by Jacob Bumpus. She went to his house which was in Taylor Mill, which is here in Kenton County, but it's it's not in Covington.

I'll get to why that's important. In just minutes she was at his house, some of his friends stopped over saw her at his house, and that was the last time anybody other than Jacob Bumpus would see her alive. Her family. When she was not there the next morning and not at the sister's house the next morning, they reported her missing. Covington Police where they were

is who they reported to her missing too. They went to talk to Jacob Bumpus and he claimed that he had dropped her off down on Scott Street near her sister's house, not too far from her sister's house. But he claimed that that's the last time he saw her was when he dropped her off down there. And that's how this became a Covington police cases, just Jacob Bumpus's

false statement that he had dropped her off in Covington. But thank god they stuck with it because they were a big enough police department with enough resources, enough manpower and enough dedication that they never gave up the search for Page Johnson. And it went on for years, Willie. And in fact it went

on for a decade. I can't tell you how many search warrants we executed, and spent a day roasting out on De Corsi Pike in probably one hundred and ten degree heat while they took collected bones turned out not to be human bones, but they found bones in a barn out there. They dug up a cistern, an old cistern in Latonia, when somebody reported the Page had

been dumped in there. We even traveled to Knox County, Kentucky, which is down on the Kentucky Tennessee border, because some federal inmate claimed that he and another criminal had taken Page Johnson down there and dumped her in a field. We ended up digging up this poor farmer's farm, left him with a new Olympic sized swimming pool practically, but she wasn't located there. Lots of false leads over the years, lots of bad rumors, but Covington police never

gave up. But Jacob Bumpus was always a suspect because he refused to cooperate any further after telling police that he left her on Scott Street and they started looking in to Jacob Bumpus, he wouldn't cooperate anymore where he was threatening other people that they shouldn't cooperate. But the one thing Covington police knew is that Jacobumpus's phone never came to Covington. In fact, they traced his phone pinging off of cell towers over to the area of East Fork Lake at four o'clock

in the morning, and the ninth page went missing ten years later. I

think you and I have talked about this before. COVID actually resulted in the discovery of Paige Johnson's body because an individual out in Claremont County who needed to get out of the house where he had been cooped up with his wife for a little too long one out hunting for deer sheds and stumbled across Page's skull hidden in a remote location near a just off a road that was an access road for a billboard out in a very remote spot in Claremont County and found

Page's body out there, which brought some bit of closure to the case and that we actually knew where Page's body ended up. Knew what happened to Page, but because there had been so much deterioration of her body, there was no way for the medical examiners to figure out why she died or how she died. But what we could put together as a circumstantial case is showing that Jacobumpus was the last person to see her, and this phone traveled out to

right where. When I say right, this was older technology, so it's not precision like it is with GPS today, but out to the area where her body was found. We presented the case to the Claremont County Attorney's Office Zack and Clay and the Claremont County Sheriff's Department agreed to take this case up.

Took him three years to get it to trial, but I can't tell you how happy I was yesterday when they got that guilty verdict of congratulations to those guys, to their boss, Mark, to Colby, to Sheriff leehe and the Claremont County Sheriff's deputies that helped out in this case with covered Page's body. I really can't thank those people enough for bringing some closure to Page

Johnson's family. And also thanks and congratulations to the Covington police in the department, especially detectives Austin Ross, Justin Bradberry, and Bryan Broads, who's now retired and can retire in peace knowing that there's been justice for Page. As far as the abuse of the corps in tampering with Evan is the two charges

he was convicted him. Under Ohio law, the maximum you gets about four years, and of course the goal is to find something later on that when to indicate a murder, which at this point double jeopardy doesn't apply yet because he wasn't found, he's not been charged with the murder. What specific acts did he commit that was presented in court that he tampered it with evidence?

Well, he tampered with evidence by dumping Page's body out in the woods in Claremont County to prevent its disclosure, its discovery, I should say by law enforcement obviously, if he had taken Page to the hospital, or if he had called an ambulance, or if he had even called police and said, this is what happened to this young lady, if it had been something other than a murder, let's say, you know, it was always the reason

he wasn't charged with any fulmhamicide as it could have been anything from an accident to an overdose. We just we couldn't tell why she was dead. But if he had actually called police or called nine to one one, or taken her to the hospital, there would have been a police investigation into what exactly happened to Page. Obviously that could have resulted in some kind of additional charges

against Jacob Bumpus. But instead of getting her helper, instead of calling law enforcement, Bumpus dumped her out in the woods, and that prevented the discovery of her body for a decade, and that prevented addition charges from being filed against him. So that was the evidence that he tampered with Page was the actual evidence. And of course that was also the abuse of the corpse dumping her out alone in the woods. We don't know if she was alive or

dead when he dumped her. That is the abuse of the corps as well treating her her body in a way that would offend the moral standards of the Claremont County community and Rob Sanders by implication, only the murderer would have a motivation to take her body to East Fork Lake. I don't know how far it is from Taylor, Milda Beatavis got to be forty or fifty miles. Only the murderer would have done that. Only the murderer would have abused the

corpse. Only the murderer would have tampered with evidence. So you've been at this for about twenty or thirty years. Did Jacob Bumpus kill murder Page Johnson? Well, that's just it, Willie. You know, we don't just know. We need some additional evidence. I think that there is probably someone out there that Chaco Bumpus either talk to, confess to, or requested assistance from that evening, either before dumping Page, help with dumping Page, or

help cleaning up, say, his car after he dump Page. I still think the evidence to prove that jacobump Is committed a homicide is still available. It's still out there. We just don't have it yet. And I'd say yet, because you know, it's still my hope that someday that we can make a homicide charge on jacobumps We don't have it right now, but that doesn't mean we won't have it in the future. But nevertheless, I'm just

glad at this point. I'm very ecstatic that we got some amount of justice for Page Johnson's family that said, you know, I will not believe that this was not a homicide until somebody convinces me that this was not a homicide, until somebody explains to me how Page died and other than at the hands of Jacob Bumpus. So if somebody would come forward and just arguing innuendo that she died of an overdose and there's evidence of that, in which case Jacob

Bumpus is not guilty of a homicide unless he provided the drugs. So it's available the arguments yet available that she died of either natural causes a drug overdose, other than murder. But if the murder took place, jurisdiction would not be in Claremont County, wouldn't it be in Kenton County? Probably? Obviously

that would depend on what we were told and what the facts were. But given what we know about where Jacob Bumpus was, where Page was, where they were last seen, and where Jacob bumpus his phone was, in all likelihood, that would put him in Kenton County at the time Page died or at the time whatever was done to Page to cause her death happened. So

if there was some innocuous reason. Jacob Bumpus could come forward even now and say, Okay, this is what happened, and if it involved a non homicide by him, he'd be guilty only of the four year of vents. And I would think in Claremont County the judges there are somewhat harsh when it comes to sentencing. He's going to get four years in prison. I can all but guarantee you at least that would give him some time to marinate to say the truth. Of course, if the truth is he killed her,

and then it's going to have to rely upon others. Now. Secondly, I had you on the other day about Officer Ethan Livingood who had to kill Garon Patty, And then a couple days later you had Brandon Clayborne in Hamilton County, Cincinnati go after a police officer, Terry McGuffey and literally almost try to tear his eyes out of his skull and beat him almost to death with

his own equipment and tazing the police officer. Do you sense? And I read this story in the inquir there was a letter to the editor that somehow that police officers today are not viewed with the respect to which they're entitled because it appears the assaults, the beatings, the shootings, the gauging out the eyes of police officers is almost a now a routine event. Well, Willie, I think there's no doubt about that. And these two very violent attacks

on law enforcement officers aside, I think there's no doubt about that. You know, these days, with the video camera strap to the chest of every man and woman who puts on a badge, in addition to the badge and the gun, they now have video camera strapped to them, and I have to watch those in every single case, and I can tell you without a doubt that there is a contempt for law enforcement. There's a disrespect for law

enforcement that wasn't there twenty years ago when I started my legal career. What we are seeing now is a blatant disrespect for law enforcement that I think only exists because of this media narrative that there is something wrong with law enforcement, that somehow law enforcements engaged in some giant conspiracy to keep the man down or something. Everybody thinks they're a victim. It's this victim mentality that has been

instilled and rained in the public by the media. Whether it's on news broadcasts, or whether it's on social media or whether it's people's Facebook pages. Everybody wants to boohoo about everything and everybody's a victim these days. Drives me crazy. But where you see that manifest itself the most is in these bodycam videos and the way people talk to law enforcement officers and treat law enforcement officers.

It's despicable. I mean, I'm good friends with a lot of cops, the law enforcement officers some of my best friends in the world, and I really have a ton of respect for the work that they do. But I would never want to do it myself because, I tell you what, the way that they get treated, I just don't know that I have the restraint that it takes to be a cop these days, because there's some people that, you know, the reason that they run their mouth to cops like this

is because they're not getting punched in the punched in the mouth anymore. And there was Dan Hayes something to be said for if you mouthed off to anybody, whether it was a police officer or whether it was an average citizen on the street, you about getting punched. If you ran your mouth and disrespected somebody, and these days with social media, people can hide behind their keyboards

and say all kinds of things. Then they start doing it in person, and police officers, you know, nine much better day that we you know, we don't have to worry about law enforcement punching people that they are being restrained. But at the same time, there's something to be said for the respect that came with it when people didn't have the nerve to disrespect the law enforcement officer the way they do. It's kind of I guess it's a double

edged sword, is what I'm saying. That it's good that our law enforcement is more professional and acting with more restraint, but a man with it comes the ability to disrespect law enforcement officers by people that really should have a lot more respect and should treat officers the way they would want to be treated,

if nothing else. But yes, I do think that as a result of that, there are lunatics out there, violent people out their criminals out there that in the past, maybe they wouldn't have had nerve to take on a cop, to attack a cop, to try and gas their eyes out, to try and take their gun away from them, But now now it's a totally different Here it's a totally different age, and unfortunately we're seeing far more

law enforcement officers injured and killed because of it. Well, Officer Ethan living Good and Officer Terry McGuffey were two guys who showed up at the scene on a nine to one win call, and both of them said the same thing, basically, Hey, what's going on? Can I help you? They

didn't go there with an attitude. They went there to provide police services, and Ethan living Good's case, within about ten seconds, he's in a life and death struggle with garin Patty and seven am on Sunday morning, he got a sixty four year old man who's been a cop thirty three years, Officer McGuffey, who shows up to say, hey, what's going on? We got because his street character Crazy Brandon Clayborne, was exposing himself eleven o'clock in

the morning near the pickleball courts. He shows up and says, hey, what's going on? And he is now still in the hospital, eyes almost gouged out, beating about the face and the head taste several times by this character who doesn't even know where he is or what he's doing. Because we have a system that we'll not lock up career criminals who are mentally ill.

Well Tony tells him, we gotta go. But one of the highlights of your career would be to prosecute the murderer of Page Johnson, which maybe that'll happen soon. But once again, Rob Sanders buttoned down the hatches. I think the storms are through, coming through, coming through Covington for a while. And thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And with your permission, Rob will do it again. Thank you, Willie. I'd love

to one last thing. Today is actually Ethan living Goods birthday, and you know, somebody Garon Patty decided that somebody was going to die that day back on July the ninth, and through his bravery and his tenacity, Ethan living Good decided it wasn't going to be him. But today is a good day because off three and living Good gets to see another birthday celebrate with his family. So happy birthday to Ethan, and thank you for having me on.

Great comments. Thank you, Rob. Let's continue with more Reds baseball kicks off. Hopefully they can maybe beat the Brewers at some point if the umpires are also prejudiced. Bill Cunningham News Radio seven hundred Wwday, A hard working young American Frank Sybell. Let's continue after one o'clock today we have scheduled a expert on the issue one in Ohio, which has received quite a bit of media attention. Or hopefully we're going to break down what it is, what

it does, what it doesn't do. Then after two o'clock today, we have a representative of News Nation here to talk about the UFO testimony that's going

to happen tomorrow in Washington. And I watched a preview of it this morning, and we have numerous US naval pilots who are going to testify that they have seen and they have video of alien spacecraft flying at a thousand miles an hour, diving into the Pacific Ocean the depths of thirty thousand feet and then coming back out of the ocean at a thousand miles an hour, which is more than a speed of sound, and continuing on their way. And I'm thinking, well, if you said it, or I said it, I

might say that's a bunch of chiquita bananas. But when you have numerous US naval pilots they're going to testify tomorrow, Wednesday, the things they've observed. I don't know what to say, do you, But that's from News Nation. That'll be after a two o'clock today. After one o'clock is Amy Natosi to talk about the issue coming up in about two weeks in August, the and then how it relates to what's going to happen in November, etc.

And how germane is this? You know? I travel the highways and the byeways on a daily basis every day, and a mother came up to me who has a fourteen year old girl. And I can barely remember being fourteen years old. But for a mother to have a teenage girl today is a very difficult adventure. The outside influences, the lack of control, and one might have the TikTok world, the fact your parents are stupid when you're fourteen

and then brilliant by the time you're thirty four. How brilliant your parents were, especially your mom. When you have a teenage girl. You like to think mom is consultant when her daughter has an important matter. You would like to think you're involved in the life and that your daughter will come to you not with everything. That would be almost impossible, but for important life raging

events. You would hope that you're fourteen year old, you're thirteen year old, your twelve year old daughter, your sixteen would say, Mom, this is what I'm going through. You would hope that relationship exists. So there's some mother, she appeared to be in her mid thirties, comes to me. It comes up to me and says, you know what happened at Children's Hospital the other day with my daughter? I said, well, of course I don't. I do not know what happened the other day. Let me

tell you. And by the way, Children's Hospital under the previous great leadership of a doctor Fisher, it's about the best there is. In fact, one rating service at our Children's hospital is the best in the nation. That's pretty good and certainly anchors pill Hill and it will continue to be great. And what Children's Hospital does in Cincinnati has followed the law, whatever the law

is. I can recall when my son was hit when he was fourteen years old in a football game and rundered unconscious, And there's nothing like an ambulance going on in the field and scraping your son off the field and transporting him to Children's Hospital. Until your life gets real meeting and focus, what are we dealing with here? Fortunately he was knocked out and they had a concussion and revived in the ambulance and we went there. They did their test and

nothing of great things about Children's Hospital. Nonetheless, I regress. So she says to me, my daughter was tussling around with a couple other girls in school and one of them grabbed her hoop ear ring and pulled it and it was, I guess, a pierced deal and basically it ripped the bottom half of the earlobe and put it in two pieces. It was dangling. So she's crying like crazy, blood everywhere. The school calls me. I rush to the school. The ambulance was called, so I'd get there before the

ambulance gets there. And we go down to Children's Hospital and she's crying the entire time. She's with her in the ambulance and she's bleeding, but the bleeding is stopping because the bottom ere lope does bleed. But nonetheless, it didn't appear to be a serious matter, right it happens, So you go to Chldren's Hospital. There in the emergency room, her daughter is now more composed than she was before in some pain, but very upset. Blood's on

her clothes, you know, ambulance in the school. Indeed, what's going it's a big deal. Anyway, So the doctor comes in and they're prepared to do this, and she says to the doctor that is the fourteen year old, I don't want this. No, no, no, I don't want to stay. I can't go through this anymore. I'm done. And so you know, Mom puts her arm around her sobbing daughter and said, honey, we got to sew this up. You know, we can't have a dangling, dangling part of sip. Well, we can't have your air

lobe dangling in two pieces. And she's in some pain. No, no, no, no, And so you know, Mom smiles to the doctor and says, okay, let's stitch it up. And the doctor looks at Mom and says, I can't do it. Mom says to the doctor, you can't do it. No, Well, why can't you do it? Because the patient says no, and Mom says, way minute, yeah, she's fourteen, but no, And they get into a bit of an argument about the daughter does not want it done, she's fourteen, and of course

it has to be done. But the daughter says no, and the doctor, following State of Ohio guidelines and children's hospital guidelines implementing him, says no. And mom is arguing with the doctor, what do you mean no? Sew it? And the daughter says no. So the doctor leaves the room. You're a children's hospital, and the mom and the daughter get into an argument and the daughter starts to cry again. A nurse comes in. What's going on? Well, I'm talking to my daughter, And the nurse says

to the fourteen year old, are you okay? Like do you want to be separated from your mother? It's like, what, No, she's fine. This is a functional family, a mom and a dad, as a brother and two other daughters. Yeah. No, no, she's fine. So then they leave. Then the mother tries to and the daughter then says, I want to go home. You want to go home? You have a split earlobe and we got to get it sewed together. No, I

don't want it done. The long and the short. A couple of three hours later, the mother would not leave the hospital, and finally the daughter after two or three hours, he's calmed down. We can numb it a little bit, and we let's sew it up, and they left about four hours later with a few stitches in the earlobe. Now, how is this

Germaine? To my guest after one o'clock, You would think that society is ordered in such a way that when a child needs medical attention of one type or another, that mom or dad has a lot to say about what happens. And you can't let a child, a juvenile, make a lifelong decision when that child doesn't have the perspective of dad or mom about how things work in the real world. You would think society would say, well, of course you have to get this done, because you can't go around life with

a split earlobe. It doesn't look right. Plastic surgery later or whatever. No, society has not worked that way right now, and maybe it will never be that way again. The doctor hopefully would have said, honey, you've got to have this done, and we're going to do it, and mom wants it done. If you needed a half an hour an hour to get yourself together, no problem, and the issue would have been resolved.

She would have said, yes, let's get it done. Well, guess, in today's world, if that girl would find herself pregnant or if that girl would say, after peer pressure and whatever, I want to change genders and I want to have my breast cut off after hormonal therapy is imposed upon me. The mother of the father has zero zilch say in what's going to

occur. As it stands right now, that girl can get a ride to plan parenthood down in Mount Auburn and get an abortion, or begin hormonal therapy and change genders, and the school to the school does not have to notify

the parents about what's happening at school. When Stephanie wants to become Steve or vice versa, or if that child finds herself pregnant, the mother the father has zero impact in that child's life from small things like an air lobe that needs to be sowed or the killing of your grandchild, your grand baby. The way the law is now, zero zilch, nada. No consultation is

required, permission is not required at all. And so when you Supreme Court ruled about a year ago in Dobbs that the word abortion is not in the US Constitution, which everyone thought was the case anyway, No, what is now? It throws it back to the States. So if this thing passes in November. It means, and by the way, when you read the constitutional amendment, which I'd urge you to do so, there's no reference to

a woman. It's referred to as a patient because as we all know, men can give birth to babies too, And it has no reference to age of any type. So that means up until and through the ninth month that the unborn baby has zero rights none. Nor does the grandparents. The mother and the father of the pregnant woman or child or girl has zero opportunity.

It is simply up to a thirteen year old to make the decision, without parental involvement, without parental permission, with zero impact of mom and dad, during the most critical time in your life. And so I say to you again that we get the government we deserve, we get the policies that we deserve, and if we vote a certain way, then Ohio would have by far the most liberal abortion policy in the nation, much more liberal, much

more obsessive, much more extreme than Roe versus Wade ever was. Roe versus Wade is not on the ballot. What is on the ballot is something much far to the left of Roe versus Wade or partial birth abortion is permitted up through the ninth month of pregnancy, aboording thousands of healthy babies. And that's the way it is. And you're going to vote on that now. The commercials don't tell you that, but I just did. That's the truth.

Look at the language itself. And if you can find the word woman, or find the word under eighteen anywhere, I'll eat the papers in front of me because it does not exist. It's non existing. So this mother had the shock of her life when her fourteen year old freshman was making a decision

about a minor surgical procedure that she had no control over whatsoever. So if schools in the future of this past want to have their own hormonal therapy clinic for those who identify as a different gender than they do, parents have zero impact. And that means that we're in trouble. We're in serious difficulty. And if that's what we pass, if that's what Ohioans vote on, those in Kansas vote on it, and they don't know what they're voting on because

citizens do not take the time to read it. I see these silly signs that say one man, one vote. What how about this? Thirty two of the fifty states have no ability of citizens initiatives to change the state constitutions. For those who didn't go to Deer Park High School, that's sixty four percent of the states and the rest of the eighteen the majority have more than a fifty percent to change the constitution. Not to propose a new law,

that's still fifty percent. It's to change the constitution. And the reason they're doing that is they want the people's representatives in Columbus to have no change, no ability to change whatever they pass in November. It was drafted by Planned Parenthood. It was put together by the ACLU. So if you support the

policies generally of the ACLU, go ahead and vote yes. If in general role you support the idea that a constitution needs to have a supermajority to pass, and then then you have to vote no, and that's in November. We'll see what happens. In August, I am voting yes, and in November the Great American is voting no. So we'll talk about that later. If you'd like, let's continue. We never stop, We simply continue. Coming up next is a bit more info on this and more. Reds Baseball

kicks off at six ten. Lance McAllister has done an exhaustive study of the prejudice major League umpires have against the Reds. All the questionable calls go against the Reds and all go in favor of Milwaukee, and I give Lance McAllister full credit. Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, the Grant American, live at your home of the Reds. Forewarned is Forearmed on news radio seven hundred WW. Sports fans in Ohio, no that nothing beats baseball season and

a typical sports book. You can get the best odds on your favorite Ohio teams and players. Download the typical sports book app now and take ball picks off with the Red Legs. Maybe they can beat the group crew. Right now, out of eleven games, the Reds are two and nine and still a game and a half out of first. If you've flipped out, I'd like to play mental games at times. If you flipped that around, the Reds would be like six games in first place. But nonetheless, I guess

you can't do that. But the umpires being unfair, all the calls are against the Reds. But let's not talk about that. Baseball starts about six ten to night. Reds and brew Crewe got tonight, got tomorrow afternoon, then out to the Los Angeles Dodgers. But until then, I've noticed in my life that when the truth does not work, try to convince the masses as to lies upon which you can motivate them to vote a certain way.

On August eighth, there are many in Ohio, the one to amend the Ohio constitutions so that it takes more than fifty percent plus one in order to pass the constitutional amendment. Because whether it's the US Constitution or the thirty two states out of the fifty that don't have any procedure whatsoever to amend its states constitution, Ohio is out of whack with the rest of the states. So you never would get that from the edge. Joining you and nine now is

Ammy Natosi. She's a spokesperson for Protect Women Ohio in Columbus. And Amy, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And first of all, it appears by the polling, and we all know polls are never wrong. They accurately predict everything that the polling indicates. This thing's going to go down to defeat on August eighth. Give me your perspective on the polling. First of

all, I think you said it best. Bill, we saw you know, the Columbus Dispatch had polls in twenty sixteen and twenty twenty, and if they were correct, then Hillary Clinton would have been president and Joe Biden would have won Ohio by five points. So we don't put much stock in the public polling, but this is certainly a great opportunity to remind our folks of why they need to get out and vote Yes one one on August eighth.

An Issue one on August eight specifically will change the Ohio Constitution to have sixty percent required on an initiative process instead of fifty When I head on your friend and mine Representative Bill sites He's part of the National Legislature Association of all fifty States. Of the fifty states, thirty two, which is for those who did not go to a good school, is sixty four percent of the total

number of states. About two thirds of the states do not allow a state constitution to be amended by citizen initiative, and of the other eighteen, the great majority of those require more than fifty percent. Because you're not dealing with a statute or an ordinance or law. You're dealing with the constitution. Itself. So can you tell the American people as we sit here this a Tuesday afternoon, what is going to happen in August the eighth substantively tell the American

people what they're going to vote on. Absolutely, So in August eighth, we are going to have the opportunity to vote on Issue one, which would raise the threshold for passing constitutional amendments in Ohio from fifty percent to sixty percent. And Bill, you hit it on the head. There only eighteen states in this country allow for petition initiated constitutional amendments. So what we're experiencing right now in Ohio although the eighteen states, half of them both Republican and Democrat,

have higher thresholds than fifty percent for passing constitutional amendments. So Ohio is very much in a minority here for only requiring sixty percent to pass constitutional amendments. So August eighth, we need to vote yes on Issue one to increase that threshold. And this is really all about protecting our constitution from out of

state special interest groups. Our constitution is far too vulnerable to these out of state groups that think they can come in here with their truckloads of money and by their way into the constitution. So this is really about protecting our founding document, and that's why a yes vote on August eighth is so important. Let's discuss hypocrisy. I love political hypocrisy. What percent of the vote of members of the League of Women Voters have got to positively vote to change the

constitution of the League of Women Voters. Yes, So the League of Women Voters themselves require a supermajority to amend their by laws, and they're not alone of The Ohio Democratic Party, which opposes Issue one, requires a sixty percent vote to amend their constitution. They requires sixty percent vote to endorse candidates. The ACLU of Ohio requires a sixty percent vote to remove members of its board. They require a sixty six percent vote to overturn actions of their executive board.

So all of these groups on the left which are telling us Issue one is undemocratic themselves have higher standards. So this is just a classic example of the hypocrisy, and they wouldn't want you to know that they actually support sixty votes at higher So the National Democratic Party requires two thirds, Ohio Democratic Party require sixty percent, the ACLU require sixty percent or more. The league of women voters demand sixty percent or more. The great majority of the states either

don't allow it at all or require more than fifty percent. And so when I see these dumb ass signs that say one man, one vote, first of all, I thought men don't exist, because when I listen to Justice Jackson is there are there two genders? And are you a woman? She could not answer the question whether I'm a woman. But nonetheless, I thought one man, one vote. I thought that was an impermissible term. But what is the argument that Democrats may can those who believe abortion ought to be

a sacrament that one man, one vote? What does that mean? That's a great question, Bill. I've been trying to figure that out myself, because we will still have one person, one vote even with a sixty percent majority needed to pass constitutional amendments. And let's be clear, there is nothing more democratic than allowing Ohioans to go to the polls on August each and voting to cast a vote on how we will amend our constitution. We are letting

Ohioans decide how Ohio's constitution is amended. So I can't explain their thought process too. I don't know if they can probably not. But this is again why we need a yes vote on issue one. Well, the Democrats can't be democratic if they require more than fifty percent to amend their by laws and their constitution. And so you know, the only strength we have as a people is an informed electorate. And so when the truth doesn't work, just

tell lies now. Secondly, when we get to the November matter, which I think is I'm not sure that date in November and November eighth, whatever the first Tuesday after the first Monday is. But in November we're going to vote yea or nay substantively. And for the American people, if you read which I'm holding it now in my hands, the actual language of what you're going to vote for, there's no reference to a woman or two mothers.

There's no reference to parental consent. What this would do when you read this amendment, if a woman decides eight and a half months into the deal that you know what, I don't want to go through the agony of birth.

I want to abort my baby. And you go to planned parenthood. And if they have a doctor at planned parenthood, and I'm sure they're going to buy one off to say that a woman's mental health would be effective by having the pregnancy, and she wants to have the abortion, and would that be permitted then in Ohio it would be That's why this November constitutional amendment is so dangerous. It would allow painful late term abortions on demand all the way through

nine months. It would strip away parental rights so that parental consent and notification are no longer required for a minor who's seeking an abortion, and even sex change surgeries. And it would remove common sense health and safety protections that we currently have on the police have on the books for a women in Ohio who do undergo abortions. And so this is removing protections for women, for the

unborn and stripping parents of the rights. There's nothing more dangerous than the acl used anti parent amendment that they are going to try to push on us this November. I mean, and Tosi, let me read in one sentence out of this which says one thing, then demands another. Abortion may be prohibited after fetal vibe ability. But you know, but there's the butt monkey,

a large butt. In no case may such an abortion be prohibited if in the professional judgment of the pregnant patience treating physician, it is necessary to protect the pregnant patient's life or health period. What is a pregnant say, there's no, there's no. You know, women don't give birth, So what is a pregnant patient's health? What does that mean? That's a great question. So the attorneys from the ACLU that drafted this amendment intentionally left the word

health very broad. They didn't define it. So courts have shown us time and time again, including the US Supreme Court, that when health is left undefined, it can mean a woman's physical health, emotional health, mental health, social health, financial health. Any of those reasons are permissible for a woman to then go obtain a late term abortion. So it could be an abortionist that decides a perfectly healthy, viable child should no longer be carried to

term because it would negatively affect the mother's financial health. So this allows abortion on demand through nine months. And something else you read their bill was the fact that it says it's up to each individual abortionist when an unborn child is viable. So they don't define viability. You're letting the abortionists define viabilities.

So of course the person who makes their living performing abortions is going to decide with late term abortions, they're left is completely undefined, and this allows for unlimited abortion on demand through nine months. Let's say a fourteen, fifteen, sixteen year old girl finds herself in trouble. She's pregnant. It's the most critical time of her life. Nothing in this amendment would say that the parents of the teenage girl need to be consulted. You can't say yea, you

can't have veto power because of Supreme Court decisions. But there's nothing in here that would require the teenage girl to consult with her mom and dad to say what Mom, what do you think I mean? I'm in trouble, give me my options, can we raise this child, etc. There's no requirement of a teenage girl going to mom or dad. There's no requirement speaking with

a parent or any other person. Is it fair to say that this abortion throws out Roe versus Wade, this abortion amendment and is much more liberal than Roe versus Wade ever was. Yeah. So this amendment would completely eviscerate parential consent and notification requirements in Ohio. What this amendment says is that the state cannot burden or interfere with an individual's reproductive decisions. Burden and interfere have very

specific consequences when written into the law, and so burden. Now parental consent can be considered a burden. Parental notification could be considered a burden. And so now we're saying parents do not have a right to be involved in their child's most important, life altering decisions. And we know that this is what the ACLU is all about. They have spect decades going state to state arguing against parental consent and notification. They tweet about how parental notification law should be

abolished. They have an entire page on their website explaining why parental notification is a burden to teenagers trying to obtain abortions. This is their agenda. They have made it clear, They've stated it in black and white, and we know that's exactly what they're trying to do in Ohio. Unfortunately, the press all too often has chosen to overlook this fact. But we are holding the ACLU accountable to their own track record and their own public statements, and that's

why we are urging a no vote come November. So the way to vote no, of course, you want to vote yes in August and no in November. And lastly, let's say a sixteen year old girl or boy wants to switch genders, and many public schools today that parents are out of the mix. You can't be told that your boy will wants to become a girl.

And this amendment would seem to say, because it involves reproductive rights, since girls can get pregnant and unfortunately boys cannot get pregnant, except in the minds of liberals, that there's nothing in here that would stop sixteen year old girl from changing genders because it involved a reproductive issue. Is that correct? Exactly? So, again, the attorneys who wrote this amendment intentionally chose very

broad language. They said that this would protect an individual's reproductive decision. So that's not limited to abortion. That's anything that touches upon somebody's reproductive abilities. So if somebody takes hormone blockers, that affects the reproduction. If they have undergo sterilization procedures, that affects the reproduction. If they undergo actual sex change procedures, that of course affects their reproduction. So this protects anything that would

affect somebody's reproductive abilities. So that absolutely covers sex changes. And what's really concerning is we're already seeing this type of legislation come about in other states. I know there was a story out of Seattle just the other week about how schools are now giving hormone blockers to children, and so this is not some crazy idea that couldn't ever happen in the United States. We're already seeing it

happen in other states. And now the ACLU is banging on Ohio's door, and that's why we need to vote yes in August and oppose this amendment come November. Amy Ntosi of Protect Women Ohio, thank you. Or alien spacecraft chiefs have landed on the Earth, and there's an alien floating in a jar at Thelidomide somewhere in New Mexico. We're gonna find out about two oh six the aliens have landed on seven hundred WLW, Georgia. It's now for our twenty twenty three by Billy Cunningham, The Great American and Kelly

Meyer is joining us now from News Nation. As you may know, tomorrow Wednesday, a House Oversight Committee is having a hearing on UFOs, also known as UAPs, and ahead of that, there are several lawmakers concerned that the Pentagon itself is blocking review of some of the materials. And joining you and on now, is that Sam Kelly Meyer of News Nation. Kelly, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Kelly, can you tell the American

people at least what's intended for tomorrow? Thank you for having me. Yeah, so much interest in this hearing, as you can imagine, not only in our country, but across the globe. I was just talking with someone in Mexico, someone in Australia, someone in the UK asking how they could tune into this hearing that's happening in Washington, DC, Young Capitol Hill. It's going to be really unlike what we've seen before in terms of hearings on

UFOs. From before, we've heard from government officials, but this is really the first time we're going to hear from witnesses that have firsthand accounts of what they've seen and what they feel the government maybe keeping from the American public.

So we're going to here from three witnesses tomorrow ten am Eastern, right here in Washington, DC, and then hearing these questions and answers from the witnesses and members of Congress, both Democrats and Republicans here really working in a bipartisan way, which is rare here in Washington to get answers and have some transparency here on the subjects. And Kelly Mayer, assuming the video evidence is weak or non existent, you would anticipate that the Pentagon would say this is what

we got. But well, I watched News Nation the other night and they had a Navy pilot who spent eighteen years landing on aircraft carriers, and he said he observed an object going about three times the speed of the speed of sound, which is about two thousand miles an hour, dive into the ocean at that speed, and he said, that's impossible. They made turns at

a thousand miles an hour. That cannot happen. And so when I watch and these aren't Hollywood producers or directors trying to make a buck, these are US naval pilots that said they observe things that are against the laws of physics. Isn't that powerful stuff? Yeah? And I think that's why you're seeing so much interest in this hearing. People want to know what they have to

say. I think there hasn't been a hearing like this. I think the one that they had last year with govern officials was the first in fifty years

on the subject. Now we're hearing a year later from actual witnesses who have seen these kinds of incidents that you just described, So I think people may be looking for more answers here, especially with you know, we heard from one of the witnesses, David Grush, exclusively on news nations, but what he may say in front of Congress maybe a little different than what he shared on television because he will be on their oaths and he will be asked by

members of Congress what he has seen. So I think those tuning in, especially those who have been following this, the UFO enthusiasts, research or scientists, all tuning in to hear what these three people have to say and if this may change things. So a lot of people are looking at this as a very historic hearing that's happening tomorrow it's like the day the Earth stood Still with Keanu Reeves. Can we go off the record? Do you think UFOs

exist? Have we been visited by eliens? What does Kelly Meyers say? Oh me, Oh my gosh. I don't know if I can say. I gotta say, you know, from the view up top, just looking down on what people think. I just report on it. But I do

think it's going to be very interesting. And I've been covering this actually for quite a while here on Capitol Hill since the first what they called the UAP report came out in twenty twenty one, and having you know, talk with senators that are trying to find out some answers from the Pentagon and to see it, you know, escalate to what we're seeing today and hearing from these

witnesses. It's just fascinating. But I know the interest is there. I get messages all the time most of my followers on Twitter I think are the UFO community because I've been covering this story, and I think just people really want to know what's out there. It's just a fascinating subject. You know.

On one hand, I'm thinking I've had on those astronomers, etc. Who say, look in order for us to reach an inhabitable planet, we would have to travel at about something the range of thirty thousand miles an hour for seventy seven thousand years. That's moving for seventy seven thousand years to get there one way. But on the other hand, I look at a billion sons, I look at trillions of planets, most of which have not yet

yet been discovered. So all that is out there, it would be filled with hubris for us to say we're the only living species anywhere in this huge universe. But on the other hand, the technology to get here and to stay here is so alien to what we believe that it can happen. We cannot go for seventy seven thousand years at thirty thousand miles an hour, which

I can't even comprehend that that technology doesn't exist. And so if the technology I listened to this pilot on on Your Air two nights ago that said, if that technology exists, either by folding the universe or coming through wormholes or going through a black hole somehow and get here real quick. If that technology exists, they would be so far ahead of us they would consider us to

be like cockroaches or ants were like nothing. I remember the rod Serling bit long before even you were born, and before in my youth, there was this one segment they had Kelly Meyer in which it was serving mankind. And so these aliens came down and they solved all the desert problems that made it bloom. They solved a heart disease, they solved the cancer, and their motto was serving mankind. And they had all these marvelous solutions to all the

world's problems. And after two or three years they were accepted by human beings. And it turned out that serving mankind, they would put us on ships to go back to their to their home planet to get more education, and serving mankind, we were like a meal. We were being served at dinner. And some of them individuals discovered that as they were on this ship going to this Alpha Centauri place, because we were going to be eaten. But on the other hand, we got all these other situations. And so I

would ask you, you're like a reporter, you're like objective. Why wouldn't the military tell us the truth? And why didn't they tell Congressman Tim Burkhead ahead of time? This is what we got. Why are they being so secretive? If they have nothing to hide. So according to the Pentagon, they say they are sharing as much information as they can. They say they're being transparent with the committee, with those members of Congress that are asking questions.

See you know, they put out a statement about what happened with congressm Burchette, and to them they say, and I have this quote here, we are committed to timely, transparent and candid dialogue with members of Congress and their staff. So it'll be eything to see the pading Gone's response to the hearing tomorrow. And the reason I think there's nothing there in the census because Republicans Democrats, there's no really clear footage anywhere. These are like grainy images

and there's nothing like an alien landing. There's nothing like a spaceship. And I heard Tim Burkett yesterday or the day before talk about do they have the remains of an alien spaceship? Kelly Mare, do they have the remains of an alien spaceship? Like Independence Day? Does that exist? I love that

movie, by the way, It's a fantastic movie. But according to David Grudge, the one that was interviewed on News Nation, he's saying that there is non human craft with non human species extraterrestrial inside that has been recovered by the Pentagon. That was a big takeaway from what he shared with us, and that really kind of spurred more interest. And then now he's going to be on the panel tomorrow, so he is saying that they do know and

that it is not of this earth. So he's saying that Pentagon isn't saying that. So we'll have to see where this kind of land tomorrow and what the response is from the Pentagon after these folks testify. Is there a video or a photo of this alien spacecraft with an alien inside? Is it an area of fifty one? Where is it? So I don't know if he said that. And also, you know, I think you know, there's

still going to be things in parts of this that will be classified. So you know, the hearing last year was public, but then there was a classified portion. This hearing is completely public. But there's still going to be things that I think they won't be able to share just due to classification. So members of Congress might have more insight, obviously members and the Pentagon and military leaders have more insight, but there could we could still walk away not

knowing something just due to classification. And I think in terms of the interview and what we tried to ask from David Grush, he couldn't go there on some of the questions to give us more like you're asking independence day. I don't know what to say if if he has video or a photo of this alien spaceship, wouldn't that be something? You know? It's so I think this topic is so fascinating because we just are you know, our imaginations can

go and you just don't know. I mean everything you were just describing in the episode and then the movies and like everything that we've been seeing for so long, and then to hear that there may be something out there. friend in mind, Frank Laosa, and talk about the ballot initiatives. It appears that the so called issue one's going to make the ballot in November, which is the abortion protection issue, submitted enough ballot signatures they count. Do they get to the right number, which is about four hundred and fourteen thousand, and if those are valid, they don't count the rest of them. They got enough and the other one to be determined is the recreational use of

marijuana. And at that point they're a little bit short, but there's like a ten day grace period thereafter which allows you to go get some more signatures. So it appears certainly the first one is going to be on the ballot for sure, which is the abortion issue, and the second one is likely to be on the ballot because those who want to provide recreational use of marijuana are pretty strong, and so they're going to try to get that on the

ballot and see what happens. You know, we get the government we deserve. As time goes by, the state government is going to raise your children and not you as a mom or a dad. Great majority of children grow up in somewhat functional households in which mom and dad seek to have influences on important decisions their children make in life, especially those that have long term health

or life consequences. There's only a few decisions you make when you're fourteen, fifteen, or sixteen that has lifetime consequences when it comes to one's health. And the way the law is written now that one does not have to consult with a parent if it involves a constitutional right. If you have the right to do something such as freedom of speech, or freedom to practice your religion, or until recently, the freedom to have an abortion, one does not

go to a parent to get permission to exercise a fundamental right. So in today's world, you're going to decide in November whether the government will make decisions on your child's behalf pursuing to government dictates, or whether you, as a parent, can make that decision. We know how difficult difficult it is to raise a teenager today, more difficult than perhaps ever before, especially a female

type teenager. I kind of understood my son. He was like me, and I understood me, and I liked me, and I love him. When it comes to girls, you're dealing with completely different issues. And moms would like to think that you have a lot of say and decisions made by

your daughter or your son that would have lifetime consequences. For example, if your daughter would have a skin lesion, which is a cancer, a melanoma, which is largely curable through medical procedures, you as a mother or father would say, you know, honey, you need to go through this because in the long run, you're gonna survive this, and you're going to be healthier. If that girl would say, you know what, I'm not going to do it. I'm not going to consent to this, I disagree.

Well, now you've got a problem when it comes to a pregnancy. Under before Row versus Wade was rightfully overturned. The daughter could not go to the mother and tell the mother, and the mother and father had really no saying whether an abortion took place of their grand of their grandson or granddaughter. A

girl making that decision was left a drift and left alone. And if Ohio enacts this November constitutional amendment, it would mean once again that moms and dads have no say in this, and most of us consider that to be simply wrong. It is simply wrong to do that. And I would add that the ACLU to amend its by laws or constitution requires sixty percent. The Ohio Democratic Party, headed up by David Pepper at all, they require sixty percent

to change their constitution. The League of Women Voters demand sixty percent to change their constitution. So you mean to tell me that those who claim one man, one vote in democracy operate by different rules themselves. Absolutely, they want to convince you that a lie is the truth when it isn't in US constitution. It takes two thirds of the House, two thirds of the Senate, and three fourths of the states before it's changed. And that's why it's a

constitution and not some statute. Those are different, different animals. Let's continue two thirty homeier reds being discriminated against my Major League Baseball because of lousy caused by umpires. I'm Sean Gallagher breaking now on August State the Ohio voters deciding whether or not it should be harder to get for post a constitutional amendments on the ballot and pass them. With early voting already well under way. One of the key issues that led Republican lawmakers to set these special summary election and raise the voting threshold on constitutional amendments from

a simple majority to sixty percent is officially headed to the November ballot. The groups trying to get an abortion rights constitutional amendment on the Ohio ballot turned in over seven hundred thousand petitions signatures. They needed about four hundred fourteen thousand of them to be valid and represent forty four of Ohio's eighty eight counties. The Secretary of State has now confirmed they did just that, so that issue will

be on the ballot for voters to decide this November. As of right now, the people trying to regulate marijuana like alcohol are a few hundred signatures shy of getting their issue on the ballot. They now have ten more days to

get what they need.
