I've been selected as the Celtic of the Year, as you know, the so called Celtics or Celtics won the NBA title. But also if you're Irish, if you're a Welch, if you're a Scott, you're a part of the Celtic tutelage. And I'm honored to get the award tonight presented to me by the Chief Justice of the High Supreme Court. Going to be a
big event and I'm very thankful for that. But until then, joining you and I now is Sheriff Richard K. Jones of Butler County and Sheriff, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And as I understand Sheriff, this is the first time you've been like a real delegate to the RNC. Is that correct? That's correct. I was an one of the electoral voters when he won the first time, first time I've been chosen as a delegate,
that's correct. So the electoral A lot of Americans don't understand what that is. And I have a little bit of knowledge. So sometime in the middle of December, explain what happens in the state capital of every capital in the country. What happens you were one of the guys. They assumed you would not go back and break a promise to vote for Trump, but nonetheless explain
what exactly happened. Well, basically, there's eighteen in Ohio. There's over three hundred in the United States. He can't be he or she can't become president until the electoral voters in each state come together and cast the final bilot ballot. So I started getting mail at my home, like two thousand letters a day from all over the United States. They put my address on there and they were coming in around Christmas time demanding did I not vote for Trump?
Threatening they were coming from other countries. We all the eighteen US go to Columbus. We're sworn in. We have to sign Affid David's affirming that we choose the president duly elected president at that time, Donald Trump. A very big deal. Only eighteen in Ohio. And that's what the Democrats are trying to do away with is the electoral college. And there's a reason they have the electoral votes is so the big cities don't control all the elections.
Everybody gets a certain amount, and it takes everybody together to make this work. And that's how it works. Each state has two US Senators, so each state has two from that category. And then if you're a small state, like the state of Wyoming, you have only one congressional seat, so they get three. So because there's eighteen votes in Ohio, that means there's
sixteen congressional districts and two seats. That's how Ohio it gets eighteen. Ohio used to have a lot more than eighteen, but the population keeps going down and then they reapportion after ten years. And so did you ever feel threatened? Like, I'm sure you're a big strong man, you're a hairy s man. But nonetheless, there are nuts out there, and there are crazy people who hunt down US Supreme Court justices or shoot a Republican congressmen inside dugouts.
Many lives were saved by Brad winsterp were you. Were you ever in fear that someone was going to take a shot at you. I'm not in fear. I prepped for that, and those around me take safeguards when I go out. I have security and I get threats on occasion quite a bit, sometimes online, sometimes letters, sometimes they come in. Sometimes we get calls from other law enforcement agencies. I'm a very outspoken individual. All over the country. They talk about one to kill me, my family. They
call in and leave messages where you can't track them. They even one outfit wanted to dig up my dead mom and do terrible things to her. I mean, that's the kind of thing they say. This country is in such a mass people hate people over politics, and we in local law enforcement see that more where people weren't angry like they are now, it's out of control. Now I'm getting reports many of us watch the so called news conference last
night with Joe Biden. Now there comes a time in everyone's life they got to kind of pass the torch on to someone else. And I know, in my case, I hope I got one or two or three more years before I become a babbling idiot. But nonetheless, you've been around for decades. How does a man or woman know if they're in their seventies or in Biden's case, in their eighties, it's time to move on. Do you have somebody in the sheriff's office that's going to say, Sheriff, come with
me, you've become a bumbling fool. Let's go home. Would that be the missus who would say to Sheriff Fridcherick hay Jones, you're done. It would be my boss at home. But not only that, I would know, and and your true friends would tell you, hey, you know it's time to pack it in. They would. But you know you're not as good as you once were at everything that you do. But listen, he
is surrounded himself by people that what is it. Nobody will tell the king that he's got no clothes on. They're they're telling him that he's great and wonderful and everybody loves him. They're not telling him that he's looked at as a buffoon all over the world. And I'm not making that up. His own party are trying to look it away for him to get out, and it's embarrassing. And if that's just not to make it for the four years, I worry how the hell he's doing it now and how vulnerable we are.
I would assume his wife makes those decisions because he cannot he can't walk, he can't talk, and we're not making that up now. I will tell you Clooney, of all people, had this big fund raiser for him and said how great and wonderful he was one weeks ago. Now all of a sudden, he's got to go. He's got to get rid of And when Trump said Clooney was a rat, I agree. A true friend wouldn't throw you under the bus like that. Here's a guy that threw him under
the US immediately when the first blood was in the water. That's what he'd done. Not a very good friend. But these people, it's all about their power. It's all about keeping their family in power. But I assume he's got all these people that are surrounding President Biden telling him how great he is. He can win this. But on the other hand, all the experts, they're not always right. The people and the whole world wish he could leave and get out. They're all worried about their own skin. I
think it's too late for him to get out. Myself. I don't think he should be president. I worry more about bad When he introduces Putin as the leader of the Ukraine, president of Ukrainian and how great he is, then he tries to walk it back. How do you walk that back? Every day? He's going to step in it. And here we are how early voting starts, like what eighty days right first part of October. I don't think they can dump him. But they are circling the wagons and they're
shooting each other. When you're in a circle and you start shooting people in the middle, like in the Western days, the fire shoots the good guys. So they're all shooting each other right now. Don't have to do anything. And the other thing, Sah says. I am very confident he's not going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party because the Democrat Party is the party of Barack Husain Obama, the Clintons, a Keem, Jeffries, Chuck Schumer, who Biden loathes Nancy Pelosi. So the elders, the masters of
the Democratic universe are whispering in his ear, don't do this. George Clooney is besties with Barack Husain Obama, and he would never have done something like he did in the cover on the editorial pages of New York Times unless Obama said do it. So everyone is saying get out, and he will get out because eventually is going to be a parent. That he's not the first black vice president, according to Joe Biden. Joe Biden says that he picked
Donald Trump as his vice president. I'm not sure that's accurate. And when you introduced Zelensky on the world stage and you called him Vladimir Putin instead of Zelensky. By the way, Zelensky himself is a crook, but that's a different story. Nonetheless, he can't continue. And the Democrats were born at night, but they weren't born last night. And they know that Joe Biden is a loser. And that means Kamala Harris is going to be the acting
president sheriff the only way this thing works. If he can't run for office. It also means he can't serve tonight tomorrow. What about the three am telephone call. If he can't do a campaign, he can't be the president. That means Kamala Harris is the acting president of the United States. Put
that in your pipe and smoke it. Listen. He don't even talk to the Vice president and he's looking I'm telling you him and his family are looking at her with a crooked eye because she's laying back and waiting and you're going to see a little more of her, and she's just waiting and they're trying to figure it out. He's got his son, his wife, his family, and these little young staffers that are telling him we can fight this.
But he's fighting all directions every single day, and they keep putting him out there. I believe they put him out there on purpose. Some of the people in the inner circle. They're leaking stuff. And wait till we find out what kind of drugs they've had him on, what they've had him doing, and it will scare us to death. And we're going to that's gonna start leaking out because they want him to go. They're gonna leak all kinds of crazy stuff out, and his party is the one leaking it out.
Would you agree, absolutely? Because those around him who are like the Iron Klaines and the Susan Rices, all the Obama hangovers, are the ones putting him out there. June the twenty seventh early because they knew internally for the last two years how bad things were, and they knew that if this debate
took place September the tenth, that's way too late. The ballots are being printed, so it can't be September the tenth, and they thought, this guy's got to go, and so they the Praetorian Guard made sure that Obama, with his permission, put Biden out there June the twenty seventh to demonstrate that he can't do the job. And now this is helping Trump tremendously because when your opponents are committing suicide, the last thing you want to do is
commit homicide, and so let them continue to beat themselves up. Do you think, well, I want to ask you about Milwaukee here sheriff, but do you think Kamala Harris is a stronger candidate than Joe Biden? No, I don't. I think they're both equal for different reasons, as both of them are bad candidates, and people within the Democrat Party does not want her. They don't know what to do. They're running around in circles. They're in a panic. They I don't see if he leaves, how she doesn't
become the nominee. I don't see how they they move her out of the way, and I don't see how that. And they have to pick a vice presidential candidate at that time, and there's people circling the wagons they're looking at everything. And believe me, Hillary Clintons sneaking around in their somewhere. She still thinks she is the president. Well, Joe Biden should be told at some point, look, you've served eight years, you're done. Let's
go back to Delaware. He'd follow him. Now. Lastly, you're going to Milwaukee. Can you walk us through what a delicate does at the RNC on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? Are you wine, dined in pocket lined or what happens up there? Here's what they do. You get there, they registered in. Security is going to be unbelievable because there's so many elected people there. The President Trump will be there, past presidents, governors, I mean, the most powerful people in the world will be there.
And what a delicate does in Ohio, I think there's seventy nine of them. It's so many per district. And in the district that I'm in, it's Cindye Abrams, myself and George Lang, and then there's some alternates. You get there, you get registered in, then you have to go to meetings, meeting after meeting, and you actually decide who and when the platform gets voted on again for the whole delegation the whole United States, and
you sit in special roads. You vote on the platform, the Republican platform that's already been decided on, but you have to vote on it. You have to vote again on who the nominee is, even though he's won the primary and he has a delegates. You've got to officially vote on who the president and on the vice president. Then there's all kinds of receptions and people wanting to meet with it. You got the media wanting to follow me around
because I'm referred to as the mustachioed cowboy hat wearing. I mean, you would think that of all the sheriffs in the country, but I get a lot of attention, and it's because of what I say and where I stand. But this is a very big deal. They'll be protesters, they'll be the security will be unbelievable, and it'll be from morning. The meetings actually start with the delegates in the morning. You'll have breakfast. The meetings start.
You gotta you gotta agree on the rules. It's and then Thursday night, Wednesday night is the big one for the vice presidential candidate. And then Thursday night is the convention and you'll see it on TV. Remember how they'll say the great state of High and UH, and they'll give a little spill
and whoever that person is the high I assume that'll be al Alex. I assume that unless it's and he will stand up and give his spiel very short, and then they say, all of our delegates vote for the Honorable Uh Donald Trump, and everybody will start to holler. They go through every state, who's your candidate from VP? Because a source in Columbus told me that it might be jd Vance is either him or Rubio, I guess or Bergham, But then there'll be a vacancy if jd Vance would be the vice president.
Would you accept the nomination of Governor Mike DeWine to be a US Senator to take jd Vance's place? No? Do you want to think about that? No? No, Listen, Sheriff's a pretty good job, and the governor will make that appointment the way I understand it, right right, he makes it until the next election, and you might serve two years, and you know there's a special election and then but it'll be many, many months of campaigning. But you kind of like me, I've been offered other positions
around the country. But I say no, I love what I do on daily and also Sunday nights. I love that. I'm not going to change. And if you're the sheriff, you're complete control. What the heck? Lastly, we have about a minut or two remaining. You're noted many times for proning out the crime in small counties like in Butler County, but also so if you're in Iowa or Texas or California. Every state's a border state.
There's some reporting that there's less fentanyl deaths because the drug cartels lessening back on that because they're killing their customers. One thing you don't want to do is kill your customer. And now there's some deal in Mexico that they'll put less fentanyl in the heroin to kill their customers. Is that good or bad? Listen, none of us good. The Chinese control what goes through and comes into the United States from Mexico. The drug cartel runs the government of
Mexico. They have a new president, a lady that was put in place with the drug cartel. None of this is to help us or be our friend. They're bringing all these people in, they're smuggling the kids in the women and the men in from all over the world, and that's to help destroy this country. And they get money to advertise all over the world. But remember the Mexican drug cartels send people and drugs to forty other countries.
I've been told that's not the United States. They have better sophisticated equipment, weaponry than what we have here in the United States. We have no national plan to fight these drugs. Everybody's doing it themselves. We need a leader that will come into the United States as president and will develop help us in the inner part of this country. All of law enforcement come together and fight this as a group. We're using technology and practices from the nineteen sixties.
I promise you. The drug cartel is way above that, and they're organized. They have a military that is unbelievable. It runs the government. The Chinese are shipping stuff over there, and they're all in it together. Whatever they are doing is not to help us, I promise you, my friend. You know, if Trump is re elected, Sheriff Richard K. Jones of the Great State of Ohio, would you accept the job as the borders are at the border under control? Yeah, I would accept that job.
Listen, it can be fixed. Sure it. It was he if you get in a room with let's say half the people that think of the opposite of you and half and you guys are are and women are not allowed to come out of that room till you come up with a plan. Uh, it can be fixed. Uh. It's not about Mexico anymore. They look, everybody that's wanted to come from Mexico has already came down there. It's all these other countries and they're all taking advantage of it. It can be
fixed if they are willing. They have the guts to sit down. Government is about compromise. Sit down, Let's make this work. Ronald Reagan ended all this by he gave amnesty to everybody and said, we'll never do this again. Listen, there's and and and everybody loved Ronald Reagan. You got to get this fixed. We have no guts. We have that. The president doesn't run anything. If you seen him on TV, which everybody in America has, he doesn't make any decisions. It's all the people around that
are making decisions. And he just gets up on the stage and reads from a teleprompter who he picks on to talk. The different news media he didn't pick Goosey at all during that news commerce because he wasn't on the list. He's not going to be not on the list. It can all be fixed. Hey, get ten of us in a room from all over the country. That can be fixed. Sheriff, I've seen you on the Southern border. I've seen you in the southern Southern border with other sheriffs. It's eminently
fixable. If you got the desire to do it the country, it would become safer. Whatever state you're in, you being in better shape. But Sheriff Frisch k K Jones, a delegate in Milwaukee, once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show and make sure you vote the right way in Milwaukee. Okay, in a few days, make sure you do that. Hey, I will do my best, and I promise you it's going to be Trump, and whoever he picks his vice president may fool everybody.
It may be somebody that he may be faking us and sending these names out there, maybe somebody totally we're not thinking of it, and yeah it could be. Yeah, I like them all and Sheriff, we got to run.
