Now, Hi, Billy Cunningham, the great American reds Baseball tonight at starting about six oh five with Lance and we're going to have some groups in at one thirty. I've been selected as the Celtic of the Year, as you know, the so called Celtics or Celtics won the NBA title. But also if you're Irish, if you're a Welch, if you're a Scott, you're a part of the Celtic tutelage. And I'm honored to get the award tonight presented to me by the Chief Justice of the High Supreme Court. Going to

be a big event and I'm very thankful for that. But until then, joining you and I now is Sheriff Richard K. Jones of Butler County and Sheriff, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And as I understand Sheriff, this is the first time you've been like a real delegate to the RNC. Is that correct? That's correct. I was in one of the electoral voters when he won the first time. First time I've been chosen as a delicate, that's correct. So the electoral A lot of Americans don't understand what

that is. And I have a little bit of knowledge. So sometime in the middle of December, explain what happens in the state capital of every capital in the country. What happens you were one of the guys. They assumed you would not go back and break a promise to vote for Trump, but nonetheless explain what exactly happened. Well, basically, there's eighteen in Ohio.

There's over three hundred in the United States. He can't be he or she can't become president until the electoral voters in each state come together and cast the final bilot ballot. So I started getting mail at my home, like two thousand letters a day from all over the United States. They put my address on there and they were coming in around Christmas time demanding did I not vote for Trump? Threatening they were coming from other countries. We all the eighteen

of us go to Columbus. We're sworn in. We have to sign AFFI David's affirming that we choose the president duly elected president at that time, Donald Trump. A very big deal. Only eighteen in Ohio. And that's what the Democrats are trying to do away with is the electoral college. And there's a reason they have the electoral votes is so the big cities don't control all the elections. Everybody gets a certain amount and it takes everybody together to make

this work. And that's how it works. Each state has two US Senators, so each state has two from that category. And then if you're a small state, like the state of Wyoming, you have only one congressional seat, so they get three. So because there's eighteen votes in Ohio, that means there's sixteen congressional districts and two out of seats. That's how, oh, how it gets eighteen? Well, hi, I used to have a lot more than eighteen, but the population keeps going down and then they reapportion

after ten years. And so did you ever feel threatened? Like, I'm sure you're a big strong man, you're a hairy s man. But nonetheless, there are nuts out there, and there are crazy people who hunt down US Supreme Court justices or shoot a Republican congressman inside dugouts. Many lives were saved by brad winstp We were you. Were you ever in fear that someone was going to take a shot at you. I'm not in fear. I

prepped for that, and those around me take safeguards. When I go out, I have security, and I get threats on occasion quite a bit, sometimes online, sometimes letters, sometimes they come in. Sometimes we get calls from other law enforcement agencies. I'm a very outspoken individual. All over the country. They talk about more to kill me, my family. They call in and leave messages where you can't track them. They even one out that wanted to dig up my dead mom and do terrible things to her. I

mean, that's the kind of thing they say. This country is in such a mass people hate people over politics, and we in local law enforcement see that more where people weren't angry like they are now, it's out of control. Now I'm getting reports many of us watched the so called news conference last night with Joe Biden. Now there comes a time in everyone's life they got to kind of pass the torch on to someone else. And I know, in my case, I hope I got one or two or three more years

before I become a babbling idiot. But nonetheless that you've been around for decades, how does a man or woman know if they're in their seventies or in Biden's case, in their ad it's time to move on? Do you have somebody in the sheriff's office that's going to say, Sheriff, come with me, you've become a bumbling fool. Let's go home. Would would that be the missus who would say to Sheriff Fridcherick Ky Jones, you're done. It

would be my boss at home. But not only that, I would know and and your true friends would tell you, hey, you know it's time to pack it in. Uh, they would, But you know you're not as good as you once were at everything that you do. But listen, he is surrounded himself by people that what is it. Nobody will tell the king that he's got no clothes on. They're they're telling him that he's great and wonderful and everybody loves him. They're not telling him that he's looked at

as a buffoon all over the world. And I'm not making that up. His own party are trying to look it away for him to get out, and it's embarrassing. And if that's just not to make it for the four years, I worry how the hell he's doing it now and how vulnerable we are. I would assume his wife makes those decisions because he cannot he can't walk he can't talk, and we're not making that up now. I will tell you Clooney, of all people, had this big fund raiser for him

and said how great and wonderful he was one weeks ago. Now all of a sudden, he's got to go. He's got to get rid of And when Trump said Clooney was a rat, I agree. A true friend wouldn't throw you under the bus like that. Here's a guy that threw him under the US immediately when the first blood was in the water. That's what he'd done. Not a very good friend. But these people, it's all about

their power. It's all about keeping their family in power. But I assume he's got all these people that are surrounding President Biden telling him how great he is. He can win this. But on the other hand, all the experts, they're not always right to people, and the whole world wish he could leave and get out. They're all worried about their own skin. I think it's too late for him to get out. Myself. I don't think

he should be president. I worry more about that. When he introduces Putin as the leader of the Ukraine, the president of Ukraine, and how great he is then he tries to walk it back. How do you walk that back? Every day he's going to step in it. And here we are how early voting starts like what eighty days right, first part of October. I don't think they can dump him, but they are circling the wagons and

they're shooting each other. When you're in a circle and you start shooting people in the middle, like in the Western days, the fire shoots the good guys. So they're all shooting each other right now, don't have to do anything and the other thing, Sriahy says. I am very confident he's not going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party because Democrat Party is the party of Barack Husain Obama. The Clintons, a Keem, Jeffries, Chuck Schumer,

who Biden loathes Nancy Pelosi. So the elders, the masters of the Democratic universe, are whispering in his ear, don't do this. George Clooney is besties with Barack Hussain Obama, and he would never have done something like he did in the cover on the editorial pages of New York Times unless Obama said do it. So everyone is saying, get out and he will get out because eventually is going to be a parent. That he's not the first

black vice president, according to Joe Biden. Joe Biden says that he picked Donald Trump as his vice president. I'm not sure that's accurate. And when you introduced Zelensky on the world stage and you called him Vladimir Putin instead of Zelensky. By the way, Zelensky himself is a crook, but that's a different story. Nonetheless, he can't continue. And the Democrats were born at night, but they weren't born last night. And they know that Joe Biden

is a loser. And that means Kamala Harris is going to be the acting president sheriff the only way this thing works. If he can't run for office. It also means he can't serve tonight tomorrow or what about the three am telephone call. If he can't do a campaign, he can't be the president. That means Kamala Harris is the acting president of the United States. Put

that in your pipe and smoke it, lessen. He don't even talk to the Vice president and he's looking I'm telling you him and his family are looking at her with a crooked eye because she's laying back and waiting and you're going to see a little more of her, and she's just waiting and they're trying to figure it out. He's got his son, his wife, his family, and these little young staffers that are telling him we can fight this.

But he's fighting all directions every single day, and they keep putting him out there. I believe they put him out there on purpose. Some of the people in the inner circle. They're leaking stuff and wait till we find out what kind of drugs they've had him on, what they've had him doing, and it will scare us to death. And we're gonna that's gonna start leaking out because they want him to go. They're gonna leak all kinds of crazy stuff out, and his party is the one leaking it out. Would you

agree, absolutely? Because those around him who are like the Iron Klaines and the Susan Rices, all the Obama hangovers, are the ones putting him out there June the twenty seventh early because they knew internally for the last two years how bad things were, and they knew that if this debate took place September the tenth, that's way too late the ballots are being printed, so it can't be September the tenth, and they thought this guy's got to go,

and so they the Praetorian Guard made sure that Obama, with his permission, put Biden out there June the twenty seventh to demonstrate that he can't do the job. And now this is helping Trump tremendously because when your opponents are committing suicide, the last thing you want to do is commit homicide. And so just let them continue to beat themselves up. Do you think, well, I want to ask you about Milwaukee here sheriff, but do you think Kamala

Harris is a stronger candidate than Joe Biden? No, I don't. I think they're both equal for different reasons, as both of them are bad candidates, and people within the Democrat Party does not want her. They don't know what to do. They're running around in circles. They're in a panic. They I don't see if he leaves, how she doesn't become the nominee. I don't see how they move her out of the way, and I don't see how that And they have to pick a vice presidential candidate at that time,

and there's people circling the wagons. They're looking at everything. And believe me, Hillary Clintons sneaking around in their she still think she is the president. Well, Joe Biden be told at some point, look, you've served eight years, you're done. Let's go back to Delaware. He'd follow him. Now, lastly, you're going to Milwaukee. Can you walk us through what a delicate does at the RNC on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday? Are you wine, dined in, pocket lined or what happens up there?

Here's what they do. You get there, they registered in. Security is going to be unbelievable because there's so many elected people there. The President Trump will be there, past presidents, governors, I mean, the most powerful people in the world will be there. And what a delicate does in Ohio, I think there's seventy nine of them, so it's so many per district. And in the district that I'm in, it's Cindy Abrams, myself

and George Lang and then there's some alternates. You get there, you get registered in, then you have to go to meetings, meeting after meeting, and you actually decide who and when the platform gets voted on again for the whole delegation, the whole United States, and you sit in special roads. You vote on the platform, the Republican platform that's already been decided on,

but you have to vote on it. You have to vote again on who the nominee is, even though he's won of the primary and he has a delegatece You've got to officially vote on who the president and on the vice president. Then there's all kinds of receptions and people wanting to meet with it, the media wanting to follow me around because I'm referred to as the mustachioed cowboy hat wearing. I mean, you would think that of all the sheriffs in the country, but I get a lot of attention, and it's because of

what I say and where I stand. But this is a very big deal. They'll be protested, they'll be the security will be unbelievable, and it'll be from morning. The meetings actually start with the delegates in the morning. You'll have breakfast. The meetings start. You gotta you gotta agree on the rules. It's and then Thursday night, Wednesday night is the big one for the vice presidential candidate. And then Thursday night is the convention and you'll see

it on TV. Remember how they'll say the great state of the High and uh, and they'll give a little spill and whoever that person is the High I assume that'll be Alas. I assume that unless it's and he will stand up and give his spiel very short, and then they say, all of our delegates vote for the honorable uh Donald Trump, and everybody will start to holler. They go through every state. Alright, who's your candidate from VP?

Because a source in Columbus told me that it might be jd Vance is either him or Rubio, I guess or Bergham, But then there'll be a vacancy if jd Vance would be the vice president. Would you accept the nomination of Governor Mike DeWine to be a US Senator to take jd Vance's place?

No? Do you want to think about that? No? No, Listen, Sheriff's a pretty good job, and the governor will make that appointment the way I understand it, right right, he makes it until the next election, and you might serve two years, and you know there's a special election and then but it'll be many, many months of campaigning. But you kind of like me, I've been offered other positions around the country, but I say no. I love what I do on daily and also Sunday nights.

I love that. I'm not going to change. And if you're the sheriff, you're complete control. What the heck? Lastly, we have about a minut or two remaining. You're noted many times for proning out the crime in small counties like in Butler County, but all so, if you're in Iowa or Texas or California. Every state's a border state. There's some reporting that there's less fentanyl deaths because the drug cartels lessening back on that because they're killing

their customers. One thing you don't want to do is kill your customer. And now there's some deal in Mexico that they'll put less fentanyl in the heroin to kill their customers. Is that good or bad? Listen, none of us good. The Chinese control what goes through and comes into the United States from Mexico. The drug cartel runs the government of Mexico. They have a new president, a lady that was put in place with the drug cartel.

None of this is to help us or be our friend. They're bringing all these people in, they're smuggling the kids in, the women and the men in from all over the world. And that's to help destroy this country. And they get money to advertise all over the world. But remember the Mexican drug cartels, people and drugs to forty other countries. I've been told that's

not the United States. They have better sophisticated equipment, weaponry than what we have here in the United States. We have no national plan to fight these drugs. Everybody is doing it themselves. We need a leader that will come into the United States as president and will develop help us in the inner part of this country. All of law enforcement come together and fight this as a group. We're using technology and practices from the nineteen sixties. I promise you.

The drug cartel is way above that, and they're organized. They have a military that is unbelievable. It runs the government. The Chinese are shipping stuff over there, and they're all in it together. Whatever they are doing is not to help us, I promise you, my friend. You know, if Trump is re elected, Sheriff Richard K. Jones of the Great State of Ohio, would you accept the job as the borders are get the border under control? Yeah, I would accept that job. Listen, it

can be fixed. Sure it was. If you get in a room with let's say half the people that think of the opposite of you and half and you guys are are and women are not allowed to come out of that room till you come up with a plan. Uh, it can be fixed. Uh. It's not about Mexico anymore. They look, everybody that's wanted to come from Mexico has already came down there. It's all these other countries and they're all taking advantage of it. It can be fixed if they are willing,

they have the guts to sit down. Government is about compromise. Sit down, let's make this work. Ronald Reagan ended all this by he gave amnesty to everybody and said, we'll never do this again. Listen, there's and and and everybody loved Ronald Reagan. You've got to get this fixed. We have no guts. We have that. The president doesn't run anything. If you've seen him on TV, which everybody in America has, he doesn't

make any decisions. It's all the people around that are making decisions. And he just gets up on the stage and reads from a teleprompter who he picks on to talk the different news media. He didn't pick Goosey at all during that news commerce because he wasn't on the list. He's not going to be not on the list. It can all be fixed. Hey, get ten of us in a room from all over the country. That can be fixed. Sheriff. I've seen you on the Southern border. I've seen you in

the southern Southern border with other sheriffs. It's eminently fixable. If God the desire to do it the country, it would become safer. Whatever state you're in, you being in better shape. But Sheriff firsch K k Jones, a delegate in Milwaukee, once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. And make sure you vote the right way in Milwaukee. Okay, in a few days, make sure you do that. Hey, I will do my best, and I promise you. It's going to be Trump,

and whoever he picks his vice president may fool everybody. It may be somebody that he may be faking us and sending these names out there. Yeah, maybe somebody totally we're not thinking of it, and yeah, it could be anybody. Yeah, yeah, I like them all and Sheriff, we got to run. But once again, you're the best. he was an elector. Those are one of the case of Ohio eighteen. Persons so like to actually vote for the president. You see, when you vote for a president with a popular ballot, you're not voting directly for that person. You're voting for a slate of delegates committed to that person. So if you're a Democrat and you vote on November fifth for Kamala Harris, I am more confident this afternoon than I've ever been that Joe Biden is not

going to be the nominee of the Democrat Party. In fact, I'm going to collect about ten or twelve Hot fuds Son. He's from everyone who said I was wrong that there will be a sleated slated delegates. And when you vote for Kamala Harris and maybe Governor Whitmer, maybe Hillary Clintons VP, you then are you're going to select eighteen blue blood Democrats. And if you vote for the Trumpster and I think Marco Rubio or JD. Vance, then you're

going to be voting for slate of delegates committed to them. And those persons are individuals like Alex tron Tefilu or George Lang or Sheriff Richard K. Jones not likely to change their opinion. It's called an unfaithful elector. That's very

unlikely. I think it's happened once. So what occurs then is that they show up in the state capitol sometime in the middle of December, they actually vote, and then those ballots are tallied and sent to the Secretary of the House of Representatives, who confiends the Electoral College, and then about January, first week in January, they read them out and they actually confirm who's the president. That's the way it works. Joe Biden's performance yesterday, we played

most of the news conference was embarrassing. The world is watching. Joe Biden referred to Donald Trump as his vice president. Process that for a moment or two. He also said previously at a meeting that Donald that he Joe Biden was the first female vice president. Process that one for a while. The fact is he's mentally incompetent, which could happen to all of us. If you live long enough, most of us will lose a lot of our mental

acuity and become senile, unless you're Warren Buffett or Charlie Munger. And that's not about age. I know a lot of competent eighty year olds that would run anything. I know some sixty year olds that are mentally corrupt. It's not that. It's the fact that Joe Biden has been in mental decline for about ten years and it's accelerating. It's not getting worse, it's not getting

better. It's getting worse, and a lot worse. There's a column today out of London that NATO diplomats said meeting with Joe Biden was awful and they were encouraged by the Secretary of NATO not to do a lot of news conferences about that because it was such a terrible display not often covered by the media. But this time it is because the media wants Joe Biden to be gone. According to one as I mentioned before, and that this is the UK

Telegraph. Apparently there were moments that were quite discomforting to NATO diplomats behind the scenes. Despite the prime ministers of the UK and Germany defending Biden in public, diplomats were ticked off, as you can imagine behind closed doors. He was late for meetings, he meandered, he couldn't speak without notes, He committed gifts and stumbles privately, and reassured no one that he could do the

job as the leader of the free world. And Giorgio Maloney made international news when she was caught off camera rolling her eyes and making fun of Biden as the delegates waited an hour for Biden to show up for a meeting. Then we do know that they had a dinner said in Italy with the German prime minister that he skipped because he was tired, had to go to bed.

Everyone knows the truth now and the reason that June twenty seventh happened at all is because those around him, the Obama hangovers, the Ron Planes, and the Susan Rices, knew that he would be exposed after the convention. The first presidential debate was scheduled to be in September, and they advanced it June

twenty seventh, and the Donald accepted it. Politically, it might have been unwise to accept that debate that early, but the Democratic masters of the universe wanted it to be so bad for Joe Biden that there'd be calls for weeks before the convention to get him out. There's reporting today that the King, Jeffries, who's the minority leader in the House of Representatives, met with him and gave him the bad news that I have a text here from a friend

of mine. Can't he use the two hundred million dollars and somehow give it to Kamala Harris. The answer is yes, if it's someone else. They can't hand over that two hundred million dollars in the campaign war chest to someone other than that two people to whom they gave it, who was Joe Biden

Kamala Harris. So most legal experts have told me that as long as Joe Biden gives a statement to all the donors that I'm going to take your donation and give it to Kamala Harris. Maybe the lawsuits might be filed, but nothing's going to be nothing's going to come with that. So I'm going to collect lots of hut fundays because Sundays be goes. Joe Biden will not be the nominee of the Democrat Party come the middle of August. I would not

be shocked if in the next week or two he's done. And at that point, if you can't run as a candidate, how does he serve as the president? Because right now there could be a catastrophe somewhere in the world.

You look at the foreign relations we have right now in the wars, and what's happening in Iran, what's happening in Israel, what's happening in North Korea, what's happening in Ukraine. And this is all because of the fecklessness and the foolishness of Joe Biden, who was supposedly going to calm things down. The main reason suburbanites voted for Joe Biden is the chaos in and around

Donald Trump created by the mainstream media. The mainstream media wanted Trump gone, so they created, in the eyes of many, a chaotic situation happening in the world, which, by the way, was quite peaceful, very much so. The media covers, as you know, Republicans a lot different than Democrats. So the media is losing more and more of its power. And whether it's the Liberal Democratic Party or the mainstream media, this is the come up as many a thought, many of us thought would occur, and it

can't get much worse than that. The last three years, three and a half years has been a scripted presidency. It's part of the reason why so many liberal Americans were gutted by the June twenty seventh tobaccle because unless you paid attention to conservative talk shows, you had no idea that Joe Biden was this bad. Dave My producer, Dave Keaton repeatedly has many cuts of Joe Biden

starting years ago, making a fool of himself. He only got away with it because the media wanted Trump gone, and the media wanted Joe Biden elected. Now the media wants Joe Biden gone and then want Kamala Harris elected. When Biden has to defend his record without the cushion of anticipation, he wilts quite quickly. He needs a teleprompter and these notes. And the president during the first debate with Donald Trump, looked like a clown and a fool.

And every time he holds a news conference, except by Biden's standards, it's awful. I mean, yesterday's news conference was he could step over the low bar, and many said he did a great job. He did a great job introducing Vladimir Putin instead of Zelenski and saying that Donald Trump was his vice

president. Other than those minor gaffes, it wasn't a big deal. And as I speak this Friday afternoon, almost one pm, the power brokers are telling him they have one hundred million dollars in donations put in escrow that will not be given to Joe Bidener Democrats if Joe Biden is the nominee, So make no mistake about it, Kamala Harris will be the nominee of the Democrat Party. No one else can do it but her. She has access to the money because she is on the ticket, and that she will pick someone

to be a VP. And that'll make August convention in Chicago a bit more interesting. It'll leak out after maybe during the Republican Convention what is occurring, and then what happens is that the let the games begin. Many Democrats also think Kamala Harris is unelectable, so they're talking about maybe a quickly little primary somewhere in which the better candidates stepped forward, like Wes Moore and maybe the governor of California or maybe the governor of Michigan and give them a shot.

But I don't think it's possible that Gavin Newsom, the governor of California, can be taken over Kamala Harris. Think of the destruction of the state of California under Nancy Pelosi, Gavin Newsom, and Kamala Harris. Think of what California look like ten fifteen years ago, what it looks like today. That's what they want to do to your city, to your town. And so so many Americans are turned off by all of this. But we got to

stay engaged, gotta stay strong. So let's set up the rest Today's big show at after one o'clock today at one oh five, we have on Chris Cuomo of News Nation, formerly of ABC and formerly of CNN about what his take is and what's happening with our candidates. I'm more than happy to have Donald Trump be the nominee of the Republican Party. There is an animal magnetism that Trump has that causes literally millions and millions of conservative Republican voters to come

out. The Republican Party is now the party of working stiffs like you and me. The Democrat Party is the party of the elite, college professors and poor folks who need government help. Everyone in the middle that works and pay the bills are ignored by this Democratic Party. And the Republican Party attaches hisself to Donald Trump because he speaks to middle class Americans in ways that they find most acceptable. They like his policies, and this personality rubs a lot of

people the wrong way, But not me, no problem. I don't care about personality. I care about policies. Damn it. His policies work, and if he can pick a vice president that can take us for the next twelve years, first of all, it'd be great, but I'd be in a state of shock. Because of the last eight presidential elections going back to nineteen ninety two, the Democrat has won the popular vote and seven of the

eight. The only time the Republican won was George Bush forty three and twenty oh four, when he won by a mere one hundred thousand votes on the on the popular vote. So that means every time you have a Republican run for the presidency, he's got to weave through the thickets. He got to he's got to thin the needle just the right way in order to win.

And that's Donald Trump. And I would add that Ezra Kline, New York Times columnists, has a pog podcast in which he said Democrats admit behind the scenes they're not worried about a Trump presidency as far as him becoming a dictator. And it is a political ploy that many have bought, hook line and sinker because what you saw in the first four years, which was fabulous policies

that worked, will be repeated in the second term of Donald Trump. So when the New York Times columnists are saying, look kind of rest a threat to democracy, talk about a threat to democracy, Talk to what the Democrats have done to thrust Joe Biden forward to get eighty seven percent of the primary vote, Then say, forget about the eighty seven percent of Democrats who voted for Joe Biden. Forget about the state of Maine and the the state of

Colorado. Democrats wanted Donald Trump off the ballot completely, and the fact that they have democratic primaries. We had one, Nicki Haley lost, but the Democrats will not have a primary in which any opponent could confront Joe Biden. That's the party word about democracy, making sure that Democrats can't vote. The lives are on the left, not so much on the right. Let's continue with more. Next up is Chris Cuomo and more it becomes available five one,

And the best thing ever by Donald Trump largely is

that he Acceptor's mouth shutting, which is very difficult for the Donald. And as a consequence, all of the media attention is on Joe Biden, with the UN news conference, with the debate, and with other performances he's got he has scheduled over the next two or three weeks, about a dozen events, and also the George Clooney matters, if anyone pays attention to George Clooney when it comes to politics other than the raising a lot of money. And

so I'm not sure exactly where we are. I guess we're blessed to live in chaotic times. I made the comment earlier that we have early onset of riga mortis when it comes to Joe Biden, and the UN news conference did not dispel a lot. Joining you and I now is Chris Cuomo of News Nation and Chris Cuomo as an American? How do you process if you take a view from thirty thousand feet and you look down at these two candidates. I'm a Trump guy. I'm going to vote for Donald Trump. He's a

disruptor. I liked his four years in office. I think he'll do something on the southern border, and other than that, all hell's going to break loose. But from a thirty thousand foot if you're a citizen ready to vote in Minnesota, Texas, if you're in Pennsylvania, New York, if you're in Cincinnati, how does the average citizen kind of view what's happening in politics, or do they turn it off completely and just can't deal with it at all. I think we're going to see depressed to turn out yep. I

certainly think the rate of growth that was expected won't be there. The good news is you now have the people on the right and the people on the left both complaining about the elites. Now the irony aside that most of them are the elites. That's perfect because what we need for change is for the people with the power to perceive that their power is the problem. This is how we got past segregation. It wasn't blacks that got us to a better

place. It was whites who got us to a better place by wanting to share and change. And that's what we need now to change the party system. You have Trump versus Biden, who I believe are the two worst choices for president in my lifetime because of the party system. This is what it yielded. And I think from thirty thousand feet I think from regular people perspective, they're not as into it as we are. That's always a given, no, But they're not asking what happens next? They're asking how did we

get here? How can I be forced to have to vote for Donald Trump when I don't like anything about the human being that he is or the leader that he is, but I want the policies, or I got to vote for a guy who and I do have one caveat to what I'm about to say, which I'll say afterwards, but who I don't think I'm going to vote for a guy who I don't think is going to be able to serve.

This is crazy that you forced me into this position. Now that said, I do believe Biden showed two things that makes him potentially better than Trump. Okay, the question mark around his health remains remains, because it's not about whether he can serve today, Bill, it's about how reasonable is the expectation that thirty six months from now he is at this level of competency, which is basically the minimum level of competency. And he did two things yesterday

that I think people should take positive note of. One. Donald Trump would have never suffered that many attacking questions from the media. He would have turned it into fake news. You know, it would have been completely chaotic. He would have been blaming the reporters. We'd driven the cycle for days with the bs that he would have said he didn't want to answer the questions. Biden took them all and answered them all, and almost every question was but

you sucked, don't you? But you sucked, don't you? And so that was interesting. And you need that kind of equanimity to be a president, and Trump doesn't have it. Two Now, his disposition makes enemies and galvanizes his base and turns people against the media and other institutions. And that's good for Trump, but it's not good for us. Second thing, Biden

spoke with a fluency about foreign affairs. Trump can't even spell fluency. So from that perspective, it was a reminder that Biden at his weakest, is far more sophisticated when it comes to foreign policy understanding than Donald Trump. Now, you may not like the positions that Biden or the Democrats have taken, but in terms of competency of leadership, I think I thought that was instructive. But otherwise, here's the most value to your audience as of right now,

Biden sticks. I believe that as of now the worst is behind them. Here's my caveat. If it is true that Pelosi and Jeffreys and maybe Schumer, but Biden has no use for Schumer go to Biden and say we are afraid we're going to lose the ranks. I know it doesn't seem like that outwardly now, but as the poll numbers are coming in, they're all blaming you. And if we have an internal mutiny, you're done and we're

done. So it's legacy saving time. If that happens, and I believe it happens within the next five days, then he's going to get out because he is more sensitive to what it means for him than to what it means for us. I know that's a harsh judgment, but that's my judgment. But as of right now, I don't think that happens. And Brother Billy, who's the poor Man's Bill Cunningham, came on my show and said that ron Klain is the second most powerful person in the Democratic Party after Barack Obama.

Here's something I can tell you as a matter of fact. Okay, he said that the chiefs have decided Biden is out, Barack Obama and ron Klain Okay, I laughed. He got mad at me. He attacked me on the show. He made himself look like a fool. Ron Klain put out a tweet today that says the following, the numbers are in. Everything's okay, Hick with the nominee. He's the only guy we have who has

beaten Trump. So not only is O'Reilly dead wrong, though I'm sure he'll say, oh, there was a change over there all the other stuff we do to excuse our ignorance, But if the people who were supposedly pushing him out the strongest, Barack Obama is telling people during rounds of golf, Biden's going to stay. This is how the Democrats are. We hyperventilate about everything. We're way too media sensitive. Then, I don't know where that theory

goes. That Bill O'Reilly and other rights have that Biden's being pushed out by Obama and claim and as for Bill Clinton being in the mix, that is demonstrably false, And I think Bill Clinton is going to put out a statement soon. I agree with you one hundred percent about George Clooney. I am fine with him speaking his voice. He raises a lot of money, he's got every right to say how he feels. But the idea that the news casts start with it wants Biden out because it is wrong to see the media

as always favoring the left. The media is set up to favor the left because they are set up to be voice of the voiceless, test power, be a proxy for people who can't speak for themselves. Now, I would argue that that barometer is shifting from Democrats who feel that way to Republicans will feel that way. But we are seeing right now in real time that the

media will bite anybody's heine. It's all about driving narratives that drive ratings, and they want Biden out, and I think ultimately he will benefit from it for a much lesser degree than Trump does by blaming the media and the elites for wanting to come after it. Now both of them, both of them are blaming the media. And what's happening now. I see a Democratic party that is in committing suicide, and I would encourage Donald Trump not to commit

homicide. And when your enemy is killing each other, let them keep doing it. And let me give you maybe a different perspective on where we are. Because the party, the Democratic party caring about democracy, wants to make invalid eighty seven percent of Democrats who voted for Joe Biden. The Democratic party that cares about democracy, whether it's Maine or Colorado. Once to work to keep Donald Trump off the ballot, you don't have the right to vote for

him. The Democratic Party would not allow RFK or other candidates to arise in any primary because they wanted to make it in a fatal complay that Biden's de nominee and they wouldn't let Democrats vote. So you talk about the Democrat potracy, the hypocrisy, hypocrisy, staggering, but we're not surprised why, because this is game and this is what the parties do. They do whatever works for them, that's what they do. And that's how you get Trump versus

Biden. And it's really important to include them both because you can't say, as a Republican, but I like the policies, but you never thought that he was the best change agent for those policies. We both know what's going to happen when he gets in. Oh. I know I'll be criticized for this, but I don't believe that Donald Trump is a despot in the making. I don't think he has the strategic sense, I don't think he has

the ambition. I don't think he has the ideals he wants to win he wants to stay in your face, he wants to go after some of the people who went after him, and then he really won't care about much else. So I don't share this death of the democracy. Look, did he give you reason to feel that? Yeah, with the January sixth stuff and all his people running around lying. Yes, I get it. That spooped us. And what happened at the Capitol spooped us. I get it.

That was his best chance to be the kind of guy you're saying he will be, and it didn't work out. So I'm not as afraid of it as other people are. Is it impossible? No, But it's not enough for me to push it as a narrative. Biden is going to be brain dead in fifteen minutes. I don't believe that his rate of attrition may put us into a Reagan redux. It may, and the proposition absolutely sucks.

Do you want an ailing man or a man with bad tendencies? That is a horrible choice and we need to embrace that and expose it and talk about why these are our choices. And it's because the system doesn't work for us. It works for the elites. But at least now they're acknowledging it, and the media is not the bad guy. Bill, No, media is nothing the democratic Except for the media, Joe Biden would not be have been elected. In my view, when June twenty seventh happened, it was shocking

to the media that Joe Biden has lost half of his mental acuity. And that has been true for the since the last two or three years. I know many a news nation doesn't do a lot of it, but other outlets do about replaying the incidences beginning several years ago that Joe Biden is not there. He's the Woodrow Wilson circa nineteen nineteen. I'm not surprised, but a lot of media was surprised. They were shocked. No, they're not.

They're feinting it, meaning it because it suits the narrative. The polls have gone down. Half of them are spooks because they want Trump to lose. The other part is spooks because now they have new data that allows him to take a new narrative. Look, Bill, look what happened to me.

I went from being you know, the tiny tim of COVID where everybody got to watch me be sick, and I'm on with my brother and America loves that when they're all shut in and they can't be with the people they want to be with that they were getting to watch me and my brother be siblings and have fun with each other. And people loved it. Right. The media hated not good, hated it. They hated that I was doing it. They hated that I was getting away with it. And they waited.

And when the situation changed because Andrew got jammed up with all the allegations against him, right, they came for me and they said he should have never had him on and he's been helping his brother and this is wrong. He's not really a journalist. What changed the opportunity And that's just what happened with the poll numbers with Biden. Now they've got soft poll numbers, so they can play to a narrative that was always there for them. They were just

choosing not to do it. They weren't covering for Biden. It just didn't work for them at that time because they were too busy beating up on Trump. In your situation, I watched it in real time. You probably didn't

see all the cable. I'm a noose chunk. I watch it all and I'm looking at this, and I'm thinking, Okay, the guy's in the basement and he's coming up, and he's got COVID, he's got difficult, he's got his brother, he's got his brother on and the media at some point turned its guns on you and Andrew, and they used the governor's I guess, alleged hugging of women, which I never bought. The fact that

he was sexually harassing. I never bought that at all. But somebody, maybe it was Latitia James in New York City, and ag said I want him out and I want him done so that I can have more power. And that's how it happened. And I'm thinking, how did Chris Cuomo, ABC News, CNN become a target of the media. Why did that happen? Jealousy and opportunity. I made it easy for them. I was involved with a politician who was in a scandal that is the most toxic of the

last ten years, which is me too. And I became perceived as an enabler of helping someone destroy the women who came after him, and I became a me too violator and that's all the media wanted. They wanted to come after me anyway, because they didn't like what I had gotten away with in quotes, even though to this day it is what regular people thank me for most in my career is, Hey, thanks for what you did during COVID.

Thank you for showing us what it was like to be sick. Thank you for keeping it light with your brother and giving me something to smile at when everything was so dour. But the media hated it, a little bit jealousy, a little bit of a legitimate sense of what the standard should be. But they didn't go after my boss, and he was the one who said everything I was doing was okay and actually made me have andrew on. It wasn't my idea. Yeah, Jeff Zucker, he's he's going through an

Eastern resurrection. He's coming back, supposedly. I don't know that he's coming back. And let me tell you something, Bill, when my arbitration happens and they hear what Zucker knew about my brother's situation and what Zucker was aware of in terms of what I was doing and who I was hearing from. He talked to my brother and to me as much as anybody. Okay, he knew everything that was going on. He gave advice about what was going right. And he's the guy running at sea, and he's the guy in

charge, and all of a sudden, I was lying to him. I was lying to him about what that I was talking to my brother. I would often talk to him before and after it. Oh, no, that I didn't know that you were helping him go after his accusers. Oh come on. His lawyers and his staff will say, not only did I not help him go after the accusers, but they thought I was an idiot for trying to push them away from going in after the accusers. When's the arbitration,

Chris Groemo? Is it this year or next? Listen? I mean, you know this whole game is about delay and dripping me dry. And good thing is. I'm not mad at CNN. I think it's a great organization. And I miss so many of the people there, and I missed my platform. I miss what I was able to do there in the reach that I had. And I don't want any kind of big paycheck. I just want CNN to acknowledge I never acted in bad faith. You don't have

to like what Zucker was allowing me to do. You can say that it was just wrong to have one of our big anchors involved in a political situation. But you make it sound like I covered it on my show, which I never did. You allow people to call me a liar because I supposedly lied to them about what I was doing, and that's demonstrably false. Right, That's all I want is a statement that I didn't act in bad faith. Say, look, we don't like that he was allowed to do it.

No one will ever be allowed to do that again. Fine, fine, but I Chris, I'll makeup prediction from makeup prediction that they'll settle this case on the EVA arbitration cut you a big check in a way you go because you did exactly what CNN management wanted you to do, and when things all a little bit hot, they threw you overboard. And Zucker was thrown overboard about a year later. But this case will settle because they're not gonna

let the dirty laundry be aired. But Chris, I'm up against the clock. You know how media works. Let's do it again.
