Transcript

Games in Baltimore, and the Reds are aware of what happened in nineteen seventy during the highlight of the Vietnam War, when all hell was breaking loose. And at this point I wonder if the Reds know about what happened in nineteen seventy with Brooks Robinson. I have my doubts. But nonetheless, Moeeger, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show, and kind of give me the overview of what happened this weekend. Sounds like your dog is all excited in the

background about what happened in your new home. But sounds like old schnorfy. But nonetheless, I give me the overview of what happened this weekend. Well, it played three really good, entertaining games. Ye, a lot of cool stuff happened. They scored a bunch of runs. They won two of them, or I'm sorry they lost two of them, in large part because the starting pitching has to get better. So there's a lot to really love about this Reds team right now. Right there's the fact that here we are

entering the last week of June, they were in first place. Nearly every player they've brought to the Big leagues over the last month and has contributed in a major tangible way, including obviously Ellide La Cruz, who hit for the cycle and became the first Reds player since nineteen eighty nine to do that. There is something about this club. Joey Vado Rejoins hits three homers in his

first couple of games back. But if you're going to handicap their chances to win the division or handicap their chances to get to the postseason, you've got to wonder if that can happen with the starting pitching being as lackluster as it's been this weekend. The Reds got three starts, none of them went beyond four innings. Levi Stout in a tough position yesterday. Jeff Brantley said it on the radio. Two good innings. One that was kind of a disaster.

Graham Ascraft came off the injured list on Saturday, that unfortunately pitched the way he had in the seven starts before he went on the injured list. The starting pitching, and this is you know, this is not subjective, This is a statistical fact, is among the worst than all of Major League Baseball. It is to this team's credit, that they've been able to overcome

that to a degree and vault a few games above five hundred. They've done it with all these guys, a lineup that I think is really hard to navigate if you're the opposing team's pitching staff. I think Atlanta found that out this weekend. But if we're going to legitimately talk about this team playing in October, they've got to figure out a way to make the starting pitching better through internal solutions, through guys just pitching better, through guys getting healthier,

and possibly v trade. You may recall early this season the Reds had their lowest attendance at a game and Red's history going back to the days of Redland Field, before the Crowsley Field even existed, I think they had like six thousand people showed up. What's happened the past six or seven weeks is phenomenal in this world. When you beat up on the Dodgers, you've got Sandy who coming to town. They've done, they've played, they've gone way past

expectations, and you have to get starting pitching. Starting pitching is the key to saving your bullpen mentally keeping your players, and I think the Red Lights gave up like twenty three runs over the three games, and they were fortunate to win the one game, actually the first game, because they were way up and then they gave up multiple, multiple, multiple runs in the top of the night to barely win. That was unbelievable. And a total attendance

for the three games was what was the number? Was it close to about one hundred and thirty five thousand? Yeah, it was incredible. It was an incredible three days of the ballpark. And you know, this team, I think to the way they've played, but I think also through just how they play with each other, how they play for each other, the energy they're bringing, the personality they're bringing, the cool stories that have emerged on this team, I think has has woken Red Sans up. And this weekend

at the ballpark. I know you, of course weren't there for any of the games, but the atmosphere on Friday and Saturday was electric. Was unlike anything I'd ever been a part of in the regular season at GABP. And it goes to that. As much as you could talk about, well, god, you know what what about dampathy in this town? Is it a baseball town anymore? You give people a reason to show up. They will, and this team has done that, and this team has given reason people

a reason to pay attention, and they're worth paying attention to. They're awfully fun to watch. But if the mo for the rest of the season, if you legitimately want to talk about their playoff chant, it's cool as hell. When you can come back after being down five level and come back and win a ball game, that's great. That can't be what you thrive on. Those have to be the exception and not the rule. And when you win eleven to twelfth straight games, you're going to have games like that where

you stage these miraculous comebacks. But this team needs to play from a head more than a place from behind, and that comes back to the starting pitching issue. They've got to get guys healthier, Guys who are in the rotation right now have to pitch better. And then, obviously, as we get closer and closer to the MLB trade deadline, you know we wonder whether or not Nick Crawl is going to be able to get the piece he needs to push this team over the top. Everywhere else in this team, I think

you're pretty happy with what you're getting. They have a lineup that I think I said this before. I think if you're an opposing manager, becomes really really difficult to navigate. They've improved offensively, They've got some quality options in the back of the bullpen. They have maybe the best closer in baseball right now. Starting pitching has to get better, and if they do a Red Zonnership kennexhil A One was heard to remark that they made an extra twenty million

dollars over the weekend. Twenty million dollars which can get you a rent a pitcher. And about five weeks from now, the trade deadline, I believe is August the first, so they got about five weeks to determine. And if they're still in the hunt, then I can all but guarantee you mode they're going to make their decisions to get a starting pitcher and then bring them in here, maybe even a hammer like Justin Verlander and his lovely wife.

Wouldn't it be something of Justin Verlander was going to become a Cincinnati Red. Wouldn't that be something? Would be incredible? Would be incredible, would be incredible of kd Upton came with him. I think what you're doing with though right now, the number of quote buyers outweighs the number of quote sellers.

Now that may change a little bit between now in July thirty first, but you know, the reality is with an added postseason team per league, you have a lot of teams who are trying to figure out are we in it or not? When you have divisions like the National League Central and the American League Central, you have teams that go, well, you know what, with a good two or three weeks, if we could do something like what

the Cincinnati Reds just did, we're right in the thick of things. And so I think what that's going to do is it's going to make it a seller's market. So if you want to jump to the front of the line and get the best available starting pitcher, let's say, for the sake of example, it would be justin Verlander, you're going to have to overpay.

You know. I hear people say, well, we want the Reds to be aggressive at the deadline, and then then you go, okay, well does that mean trade for instance Christian and Carnossian Strand doesn't mean for instance, trading Connor Philip, one of their better pitching prospects, doesn't mean trading one of their better big league players already on the roster room. People balk at that and you go, okay, well that's fine, that's not aggressive.

I think it's going to be really fascinating to see how the market plays out. And look, I don't know that you need to go get a rent a pitcher. The last time the Reds made a trade for an established arm was for Trevor Bauer in twenty nineteen. They got Trevor for the rest of twenty nineteen. They also got them for all of twenty twenty. And I can't help but wonder, is there a guy like that out there that you could bring to since Hadden who would obviously help you for the rest of this

season, but then you would have for the foreseeable future. Now, in order to get Trevor Bauer, the Reds had to give up a top one hundred prospect and Taylor Tromel. He really hasn't panned out, but that's the capital that was needed to land a guy like that. Are the Reds going to be willing to give up a prized prospect or a good, young, controllable, established big league or go and get that sort of picture. I don't know if they'll be in a position to, but it'll be fascinating to

me to see what sort of options they might have at their disposal. Well, I would say Jonathan India is the obvious odd man out because of the kind of job being done now by the minor leaguers playing like major leaguers.

But we'll see what happens. MO. Once again, thank you for your insight, and I hope the Reds have a come upance and revenge for what happened in nineteen seventy when the Reds lost in seven games of the Orioles, Brooks, Robinson and Frank Robinson. But I think most of them aren't even alive at that point, so maybe it's not particularly relevant to their life.

Well, they've lost in five games, and if any of them were alive at that point, they would be fifty three years old, and this is the youngest team in the National League, so I don't think they have many fifty three year olds on the roster. I'll check that out again. Once again, MO, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Maybe see at the ballpark this weekend. Are you going? Of course you will be there for San I want to be there this weekend. I will be

there Saturday selling split the pot tickets for the rest Community Fund. On Saturday afternoon, my people will be in touch with your people to make a final decision. I'll be waiting by my phone, Moeger. Thank you very much, Sorry Willie. Let's continue San Diegos in town. By the way, that team's roster was three hundred and fifty million dollars. The Padres the religious Zealots from southern California, and they have a much worse record than the Cincinnati

Reds. So the Padres coming to town. Let's continue with more. I want to give you my thoughts on what's happening politically in Russia. We have later on Congressman brad winstrip Is coming up to talk about what's happening from his perspective. As you know, Brad has worked himself because of his competency in new management of the House of Representatives, and he's on the Intelligence Committee. By that, I mean he gets all the intelligence briefing about what happened.

The coup attempt that seemingly failed. Are more coming. You can think about a month ago, Moscow itself was attacked by drones there's elements of the Russian Army attacking Russian forces. There was elements of the Russian Air Force that attacked the Wagner group. And at this point Procoshan, who's the leader, seemingly is in Belarus, but maybe not. So I need an update from brad

winstrip as to what the hell's going on with that. And secondly, whistleblowers from the IRS are saying that, of course the David Weiss, the special counsel of the Attorney General in Delaware, did not have adequate power to indict Hunter Biden and all the stuff that he's done wrong, and so the whistleblower disputes the Attorney general. In fact, we got all hell breaking loose.

Then we got the issue I know with brad Winstrop is the issue of the origins of COVID nineteen that, according to the intelligence community, came out of the Wuhan lab, which, by the way, if you've listened to me for months, know that American attack paid for that. We reached into our pockets and paid for the creation of COVID nineteen. Then it got out, and that is in conspiratory theories. That's what those and health officials are saying

that in Washington that the American taxpayer paid for that. That to me is again may I use the term unbelievable. So many issues of percolating. Plus later on, Representative Syddey Abrahams will be here from the West side of Cincinnati about House Bills sixty eight that would demand that women's sports exist in the state of Ohio and that biological men not play female sports. Is that an issue to you, Tither and fro So, let's continue if a line becomes available.

Five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand. Red Spaceball kicks off about six oh five to night, first pitch in Baltimore about seven oh five. Three games there off on Thursday, back out of this weekend with the Potters in town and more at chome of the Reds News Radio seven hundred WLW. People have always craved entertainment. In the early night

teen hundreds, Vaudeville was all the rage. Audiences would get an evening of various acts from singers, comedians, and dancers, andres the Great would stun audiences with his death defying guillotine allusions until he and his assistant got into a fight over paid. Today we have something better Eddie and Rocky. They're very entertaining and to their best to keep their assistants happy. Eddie and Rockey this

afternoon at three seven hundred WLW. Now at the time to buy your new vehicle at Kerry Automotive dot com whether you're in the market for a Toyota, Fort, Buick, gmc Chevy, Nissan, Monte v w or Hunday the place to shop his character at the music Dave Katon hit the music. Big things going on in the Triestate. What a week Red's lost, But they played like warrior poets. I demand, as the Cincinnati and Northern Kentuckian that the Reds play with guts and guile, determination, fear of God, love

of country. And when I saw this weekend want to listen to was unbelievable. Good stuff. Got Taylor Swift coming in on Friday and Saturday. And then also we have the Red Lakes back in town after three in Baltimore on Friday, Saturday and Sunday before they head off to the Nation's capital to beat up on the Washington Nationals. So good stuff happening there. And I also would note that the various investigations are underway. I mean Washington is filled with

investigations. Most of us, the American people, don't care about the investigations. Tells how things turn out. But one thing occurring later on at one oh five today, we have Representative Sydney Abrahams is going to come on from the west side of Cincinnati. She's now in leadership at the House of Representatives, to talk about what's happening with the budget, what's happening with various House

Bill sixty eight, things of that character. And on the other side after the news, I'm gonna tell you why, in my long distinguished career in radio, I've made some mistakes. She may not know it, but I'm not impregnable. There are times I have done things and said things that we're inappropriate, and when it is, I tend to apologize, and other times I don't. But many times, you know, we all work for somebody, And so for a long time, there were those of us who wanted

to restrict Challie. I use the term gay rights in one sense or another, and my illumination took place about seven eight nine years ago, and it continues through today. But it does not extend to some of the words and expressions being used in certain parades that is against the interests of gay folks themselves, believe it or not. I'm not an advocate and I'm not a spokesman for Americans who are gay. That's not my role. But I always believe

in the Golden rule treat others as you would want to be treated. So as we continue, I'm going on the other side discuss that with you and more. Plus the more information coming out about the Russian coup. This is unbelievable, what's happening in Russia, and also what's going on with the instigation of Hunter and Joe Biden. Thank god he's a Democrat, otherwise it would

be big news. Twelve thirty Homier Reds playing tonight first pitch about seven oh five in Baltimore at your home of the Reds and Great Americans in a home at Taylor Swift News Radio seven hundred wtw News Traffic and Weather News Radio seven hundred wl W, Cincinnati. So when is next for President Putin? This is the twelve thirty report. I'm Sandy Collins breaking now. The Wagner Group is a mercenary organization that was helping Vladimir Putin's Russian forces in Ukraine. They

marched all the way from the front lines and into Russia. The group of rebels led by Wagner's leader Yevgeny Progoshin, got almost to Moscow on Saturday. It looked like it was going to be a military coup, but the group stopped short of the city. The mercenaries did seize control, though, of one Russian town near the Ukraine and border. More from the White House correspondent Mary Bruce from ABC News, President Biden's been getting regular updates on the situation.

The President has been busy working the phones, reaching out to allied leaders and speaking with Ukrainian President Zelenski. Biden spent the weekend huddling with his National security advisor, receiving constant updates as the administration is still trying to figure out what exactly happened here, What are the terms of this deal that led Progogent

to call off his march on Moscow. We are hearing today that the charges against him that have been promised to be dropped have not been dropped, and there are very real concerns about what's coming next here, whether Putin could take increasingly drastic measures to try to keep his grip on power. The Supreme Court is now allowing more than two hundred lawsuits against Ohio State over decades old sexual abuse cases by

a former athletics position to move forward. The court even refused to hear an argument from the university against the decision by the appeals court over the conduct by doctor Richard Strauss. The university did reach settlements with nearly three hundred former student athletes for over sixty million dollars. Would argued the remaining cases had expired due to the Statute of limitations. Doctor Strauss worked for the university from nineteen seventy

eight to nineteen ninety eight and died in two thousand and five. The Planets argued the university failed to stop doctor Strauss even after complaints first emerged in the nineteen seventies. By the way, about what's happening with House Bill sixty eight and more, which is an effort to make sure that women and girls, sports and other activities survive. I thought Title nine was a great advancement that was required to provide at least half our population with equal opportunity.

One percent. Yes, and so she'll be here to talk about that and so much more. But here's another issue many many years ago when Blue States passed laws that allowed gay marriage, which has an umbrella of different rights attached to it, which is the ability to see your loved one in hospice

or go into a hospital. The idea that when we separate, what do we do with the property, The idea that a husband and a wife have certain immunities privileges in our society tax wise and otherwise that gay folks did not have. And so when this thing started to percolate, the cases eventually made their way to Washington in twenty fifteen, and it began a course out of

Cincinnati with Operfeld. Everybody, every issue is somehow connected to Cincinnati. And in that case, James could not see his loved one who was dying passing away in hospice because they weren't quote married, because they couldn't get married. And as you know, the People's judge domestic relations judge was barred to consider a union between a man and a man and a woman and a woman subject

to divorce law because Ohio didn't recognize it. So there were literally thousands, maybe tens of thousands of cases beginning about fifteen years ago in which marriages legal marriages took place in Oregon, Washington, California, New York, New Jersey, and those couples, those gay couples wanted to live a normal life because they are normal in all aspects except when it comes as sexual relations. And

who knows what is normal anymore. So what happened or one Procter and Gamble or Sintas or Fifth Third Bank or some other large company would transfer employees to Ohio, Kentucky or Indiana, and that gay couple were legally married in New York or California or Illinois, legally married with all the rights, duties, and privileges. They moved to another state because of job or other purposes, like moved to Florida, and they wanted to be treated like anybody else who

were married, but state income tax law didn't allow. It was confusing, and it's different than a portion completely for all kinds of legal reasons. I could discuss that with you later, but essentially, these couples would go to try to go to Common Police Court dr Division Domestic Relations and seek a divorce because they had assets here, they had jurisdiction and venue was here. It wasn't in New York. It wasn't in California where they were married. It

was right here in Newport. It was right here in Covington, right here in Middletown, right here in Dayton, right here in Cincinnati. So after a few years of living here, as happens in all relationships, things went south. So that meant that that couple had to avail themselves of the court systems to separate their property, determine who's right who's wrong. Many times children were adopted, who had custody, who did not have custody? What a

child support? What about alimony? Who pays this bill? Who pays that bill? Which is typical of what happens in a divorce situation. And yours truly has handled hundred and the hundreds of divorces. And so the gay couple stood there at the front door of the courthouse and said, here we are. We live in Cincinnati, we live in Green Township, and we were legally married in the state of New York. We've been here for two, three, four or five years. We have a house, we have kids,

we have four one ks, we have cars. He owes me or she owes me. Alimony and child support, and the court system in Ohio would say you're out of luck. You. We don't recognize gay marriage, which meant the couple could not get a divorce because they couldn't go back to the blue state that recognized divorce and allowed you to legally married because you didn't didn't have residency, didn't have venue, had to live like in Ohio.

You're going to live here for six months or more before you're gonna vail yourself with the court system when it comes to divorce. So they were never never land. Is that fair? Is that right? Absolutely not? Nt not, No, that's not right. That's wrong. So gay couples won it and deserve and they ought to receive equal protection of the laws under various parts of the US constitutions, specifically the fourteenth Amendment that you cannot take away property

from another without due process. Well, the constitution was contrary to the red states that barred gay marriage. In fact, right now as I sit here in twenty twenty three, at the end of June, if Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana could actually vote now on gay marriage as citizens, it would pass. In my opinion. However, the legislatures would probably not allow gay marriage. I don't know, maybe I Sindy Abrams that it's a rather it's a

pyeric point at this matter. But nonetheless it's not too popular among some. Gay folks want the same things in life that you and I want, which is a stable home, a job. They want interesting things to do, They want to live their lives. They may engage in different behavior in private than you and I engage in. Maybe not. I don't know. Not my business. I don't care what you may not know, but I don't care what you do behind closed stories. I couldn't care less. Enjoy yourself,

adults having it to go at it, enjoy it. No problem here. So it had to change, and Justice Kennedy was the one that wrote the majority opinion about equal rights, mentioning that if you're married in a blue state that allows marriage. And by the way, marriage has never been a federal issue, although Baraku's saying Obama for example and Hillary Clinton for decades opposed

gay marriage until it was politically popular to do something different. So then the Obama's and the Clintons and Obama that they switched on it completely, but Obama completely against gay marriage until like twenty eleven. They spent their life opposing gay marriage. Until it was politically popular to do something different. So the Democrats don't have clean hands in this regard either. So when all those issues percolated,

it washed away. Because it's constitutional, state laws rose in regulations. From the earliest point in my life. When I watched a couple dance, I looked at the girl. I never looked at the boy. I still look at the girl. And I would think a gay man would look at a couple dancing and he would look at the male, not the female. It's the way things are probably born that way, whatever it is. And so I look at a girl, and if you're a gay man, you look at the boy. That's the way it is. And so the law

was brought into relationship to what was required by the United States Constitution. You cannot have a gay couple legally married in the state of California who comes to Ohio and do all the things that couples do, and then when it comes time to a divorce, there's no court system anywhere in the world that would

let them walk in the door and present their case. That is wrong, and it was corrected, and thank god, it was corrected, and now a gay couple can be legally married Ohio, Kentucky and legally married anywhere, and they have access to the court system, and constitutionally, that's the way it ought to be because that's what the constitution says. So at this point, Pride Month, I have an issue with that. In this regard, when you have Veterans Day or Memorial Day, it's one day. When you

have Christmas, it's one day. When you have the fourth of July coming up next week, or Labor Day, you got one day. How come a month. I don't know why people know your role and shut your mouth. They're afraid to get their hand up to object, and that's why we deal with it for a month. And I would not attend a Pride parade. I would not go. Other people enjoy greatly the lots of things I wouldn't do that you would do. I want someone is gay to have exactly

the same rights, opportunities, immunities as any other citizen. You get no benefit for being gay, You get no cost for being gay, you get no punishment, nothing punitive. It's all about what you do once you get there and what you do in private as your business. It should not be a benefit to you and it should not be a cost to you, and simply the way it is in your life. And if I tried or wrong,

let God figure it out. And I want to treat gay men and women exactly the way I treat anybody else, the way I would want to be treated, right down the middle. That's what I would ask. And the gay marriage thing has now been resolved. And there's some excesses, of course, of what happened in New York City, about the chanting of some that should not be said. I'll leave out to the side. There's radical elements in all communities. But when the decision came out in twenty fifteen and

Operfeld, there was a sense of RELI finally we've won. Yes, it's taken a long time, but we got it right. The Constitution says equal protection, and gay folks have got to receive the same protection as any other person. We heterosexuals have so screwed up the institution of marriage. If you think you can do better, jump into the deep end of the pool. That's fine with me. Have added not judgmental, Live your life as you would like to be like deleted, and treat me as you would like to

treat yourself. That's all. I'm asking for and I think eighty nine American people are with me in this regard. One. There are some who want special privileges. Are different. Some of this diversity and equity and inclusion stuff has gone way too far, and that's wrong. Treat people equally upon make it a meritocracy. It's how you do your job. It's how you performed

that matters, not your sexual orientation. I think a lot of that is innate, shall I say, from the earliest days the great American never made a decision in my life, in my mind to look at little Penny Asbrock and say, man, that looks pretty good right there. No one told me to do that. It was innate to who I am. And when I speak to a couple of gay lawyers who are friends of mine, they had exactly the same feeling, but they looked at the guy and not the

girl when the dancing took place. Well, that's the way it is. I think you're kind of born that way, and if you're born that way, you should have equal in the same rights as anyone else. You shouldn't get a benefit from it, and you shouldn't get a cost. It is what it is. Treat others as you would want to be treated, And that's my view on that. Now. Secondly, I have send the abrons coming up a little bit of time here about House Bills sixty, etc.

To talk about an effort to make sure that Title nine is relevant. Title nine said that institutions that receive government monies must have equal access to facilities and the sports and other activities, not based upon one's gender, which means if you're a female, a boy, or a girl, you have the same opportunities, and if you're a man and a woman, you have the same

opportunities. That it took fifty some years. In fact, last year there was a big celebration of the fiftieth year of Title nine, a lot of celebration going on. It's a damnedest thing I've seen that says that we're going to allow a person to self identify to a different gender or sex. Now, sex means I thought there were two sexes and many different genders according to the radical left. Now I find out that there's multiple sexes, including intersects,

and there's multiple genders based upon one's view of oneself. So I could identify as a six foot ten inch Chinese female and now I'm going to require you to treat me like I'm a six foot ten inch Chinese female. Well, reality is that's not the case. So any states are saying, wait a minute, we want to keep funding women's sports and girls sports and girls education programs equal to males and boys, treat them the same. Martina Navratolova

has it correct. That is that the effort of some to allow a person to self identify different than biology is the ruination of female sports. And many people can't talk out, can't speak about it whatsoever because the harm inflicted upon you if you get out of line. I think most of the American people agree with me, especially those who live in the suburbs, who watch little boys and girls play different sports and normally they're about the same to age ten,

eleven or twelve. Then the boys take off in performances because of testosterone. The girls do not receive the same dose as a consequence. I want girls sports. I went d Alexander at Purcell to get a great scholarship to college, not based upon her gender, but based upon her merit. And I don't want boys playing girls sports who identify in a certain way. So I find myself once again siding with Martina Nevratlova who said that we can have

biological males playing female sports and getting female opportunities because that's wrong. And I agree with her, But most normal Americans don't want to talk about it because they get harangued to death if they do. And in the corporate world, no one can say anything about any person whatsoever, otherwise you'll be marginalized.

Thank god talk radio is here to present a different viewpoint. But Number one, gay marriage an American society within that civil context was corrected in twenty fifteen. And I want a gay man or a lesbian women to have all the rights, duties, and opportunities that I have, not based upon their gender or sexual orientation, but based upon their merit. I don't want to cost to any person like that, and I want no benefit. It's the same.

Let's get all with life and treat each other as you would want to be treated. When it comes to putting boys and men in girls' sports. Please understand that the great majority of Americans eighty to ninety percent, maybe more than that, say they need to be separate but equal, Separate but equal when it comes to the sports and other kind of implumps, etc. I can tell, I can tell everyone around here. I can tell my producer. I can tell Dave treat me as a six foot ten inch Chinese female.

He probably wouldn't do it. So let's continue. After one o'clock today is Sydney Abrams, And after two o'clock today is the Great bread windstrip talking about the coup in Russia and putting some definition to it, what it might mean to us, and more. If a line becomes available five on three, seven four nine, seven thousand or pounds seven hundred new eight and t and the Reds are back out of tonight ending, I would call it a successful series, except they lost, of course, But but a Land is

pretty good. But the Reds played with him and had a little bit of starting pitching and things that would have been much better. I think they gave up something like twenty three runs and no starting pitcher went beyond the fourth inning, and that cannot continue. And I'm told the Castellani's will be buyers and

not sellers. The Reds are hungry for victory, having lost the last two games, but most importantly, they want to come up instead the Oriols for what happened in nineteen seventy during the heart of the Vietnam War when Pork Chop Hill, Hamburger Hill, Maykong Delta, where the rageous the Baltimore Orioles came to Cincinnati and the World Series and beat the crap out of the Reds in seven games because of Brooks Rain and also Frank Robinson

who the Reds and never showed out rid of. But that's a different story. That all begins tonight. What's it been about fifty three years? It's time to have come up for the Baltimore Orioles starting tonight, then back home over the weekend for three games against San Diego, then out to the Nation's capital for the Fourth of July and more. But until then. Cindy Abrams

is a state representative from the West side of Cincinnati. She's one of the leaders of the House of Representatives. Has a great backstory that includes being a first responder and a Cincinnati police officer. She got out alive. Now she's like a normal person living on the West side of Cincinnati. Representative Cindy Abrams, Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show and representative. Before we get to the issues that you sent me about. I have something else to talk about

with your permission. Sure, of course, thanks for having Yes. I'm watching the comments of Martina Lavratlova, who was one of my favorite all time tennis player. I'd like to see her in her prime go against Serena Williams. I think Serena would win, but I'm not so sure. But nonetheless, she came out as a gay female decades ago, and it was may I use the term obvious anyway because of who she partnered with, And that's okay with me, It's okay with you, it's okay with Tony Bender.

All that stuff is good. But House Bills sixty eight is being used by the by elements of the gay, bisexual, transgender May I use the term queer community as some sort of effort to kill or to hurt people that have transgender or gay issues, which is false. Nobody I know, and I think I'm a rock rib conservative beliefs that if you are gay, that something bad should happen to you, or something good should have happened to use simply

because of your sexual orientation. I'm right down the middle. Live your life enjoy yourself, don't hurt other people. And I believe in the Golden rule, and that has treat others as you wouldn't want to be treated, no problem whatsoever. But it's now become the hateful rhetoric of gay Pride Month is being used against conservative especially conservative females, who say, now, wait a minute, there's a difference between gay rights when you're thirty years old, which

I'm completely in favor of. I believe I am as opposed to a sixteen year old girl who wants to transition. What does House Bill sixty eight do? And how's that relevant to the American people during Pride Month? There's a there's a question in there. Somewhere there is and it's okay, I'm following you, Okay. A couple things here. One that's unusual. I'm a parent, Okay. So we were at a track meet a couple of years

ago. A storm as we're rolling in. Okay, So, for the element of time and everybody's safety, they timed him separately, but ran the boys and the girls high school age together, okay for the one mile. So I'm sitting there with my husband and it was so obvious the number one girl in her you know, girls category and the number one boy. The girl could never catch the boy. We're made different. God made us different.

How it is, Thank God. And you know astro Jenna tests astern all these things, and so that was obvious to me that guess what, it's not fair. It's not fair if you're a man coming in and wanting to run in the girls category. It's just not right. So that's one

thing. It does. The other thing how spill sixty eight did, and it's out of the house over to the Senate is you know, look again, as a parent, my husband and I, when the kids are miners, we are here to guide them down the path and figure out, you know again, what is in their best interest. Right and making a permanent decision changing their sex before they are adults, in my opinion, is not the right path to send your kid down. Now, what is okay,

Obviously they're struggling, Okay, the transgender youth are struggling. Fine, let's figure out what is the root of the problem. Let's get him into counseling. It's no different than when I was law enforcement. We saw a lot of things that normal humans don't see. The everyday American doesn't see the death

and tragedy that law enforcement sees. But Yessel, we have we have peer support, we have the police chaplain and guess what if it needs to be escalated up to a psychologist or a psychiatrist, fine, but at the end of the day, let's figure out what is bothering you and what is the root of the problem. So again, House Bill sixty eight basically says no, nothing permanent to your body before you're eighteen makes sense to me. In

fact, I've not dealt with it legally. But if you have a sixteen year old who wants to have a tattoo, if you have a sixteen year old that wants to have a surgery that parents don't want to have, if you have a sixteen year old that in some cases might get pregnant. A lot of what we're going to vote on in August and November means that you can have a mom or a dad have decision making relative to the medical issues

of a sixteen year old girl or a boy. I mean I kind of think you kind of get the child to eighteen plus and say, okay, hopefully you're on your own. Now, let's not make a decision that changes your life permanently with a sixteen year old mine, making a decision for thirty five year old nineteen years later, it makes no sense to me. And you told me off there that yous some testimony from people that had transitioned and

it was the worst decision of their life. Please explain. Yeah, and going back to your first comment again, as a parent, it is my right to know what my kids are going through, what they're faken five in a school guidance counsel or whomever. It is my right to know. That is my job as a parent again, to make decisions, you know, when they're minors. Yes, last year I was on the committee. I was not on the committee this year. But last year we heard the bill.

I was on the committee, and there there were folks there that went through the full blown you know, sex change and everything, and they were at the podium and they were sobbing. They didn't realize back at thirteen that once they do this, they can never have children. And it was heartbreaking to see because again, how do you I mean, when I was thirteen, I wasn't thinking about you know, no way far into the future.

I mean you're thirteen, yeah, and you're supposed to be thirteen. But can you imagine in a blue city, in a blue state in which the parents are not notified when a child using different pronouns at school and changes at tire, it changes dress when you get to get to school in the morning, that a parent is not told. In fact, in many states, it's considered illegal and the teacher could lose his or her job for notifying a parent about what's happening. That that's the part to me I just find amazing.

And I support women. I mean, my sister's a woman, my granddaughter's a girl, my mother was female. I love women as much as I can. In fact, every now and then, I want to love more women. But that's a different issue. I think women are different than men, but we're equal but different, and I want women to have all

the glories of femalehood just like I want men. But the idea that we're going to eliminate female sports, there'll be no women's soccer team, there'll be no women's tennis, there'll be no Kruger Classic, there'll be no women's golf. If men are allowed to identify quote as a woman and say, okay, I'm gonna start playing these other sports. Where are the feminists other than Martin and a Rattelowa. Where are the liberals that say, wait a minute,

we fight. We just celebrate the fiftieth year of Title nine. Fifty Title nine, and I thought that's a good thing. In the beginning, I didn't quite understand the issues, but I become educated and I want girls and women to have equal opportunity based upon their performance on the field, on the court, in the swimming pool, not some hairys man saying I'm a woman. I want to compete and make money. Can you smell when I'm

cooking? Yes? And at the end of the day. Over the week, we were had a bunch of grad parties and we this topic came up and a man said women are not tiny men, and I said right, And he's like, thank god. I don't want people to look like Tony Bender. I kind of want to. I like women, and I support that. When I watched my granddaughter play soccer and all the sports she played, I was honored to go. I loved it. I got it. I talked to Chris Collinsworth about this about fifteen to one, yes, one

percent. But now we're talking about liberals and left wing activists ruining female sports. Is that where this is headed, especially in the Blue Cities and the Blue States. Yes, And look at the end of the day, you I mean you see it on the soccer field and again, uh, you know different places, the track, tracked, meat, volleyball, everywhere. Women and girls worked their ass off for this and you know for that to

be taken away. No, it's just I don't under when you talk to your Democratic leagues in Columbus from the house, do they tell you privately this is a bunch of bs or do they really believe this crap? Well, there's some topics we don't talk about here. This is one of them. Well, usually it's guns and babies. But yeah, I haven't actually had any We've been so busy with the budget. I haven't had any time to

have any private conversations about this topic. So who knows. I can't imagine reasonable Democrats can look at this and say we're gonna let boys and men play female sports in grade school, middle school, and high school and professionally and it's gonna be okay with us. I can't imagine. This looks to me as if it's a fight that doesn't have to occur, and I see more

and more gay conservative saying, wait a minute. We fought for fifty years after the terrible events of Stonewall in New York City, and now we've gotten to the point where we're accepted. No one is not going to be hired, no one's going to be fired. In fact, you can get married. I mean, heterosexuals have screwed up the assumming pool of marriage completely. And if gay folks want to jump in with us, I say, have

added enjoy yourself, because it is not always a panacea of glory. But conservatives who are again now are saying, no, wait a minute, transgender have different issues than gay men and lesbian women, and I completely agree. Now, sendy Abrams, State Rep. You want to talk about a budget that's friendly for children, Please explain. Yes, I was gonna say, speaking of children. So the House version of the budget. Just explain where the budgets at right now. It went from the House to the Senate.

Now it's back in something called conference committee, where the House and Senate basically half house differences, and there's over eight hundred differences. So here we are working on that last week and this week. So the House budget heavily invested in children zero to three. Of course, again as a parent, I believe you know that we aren't totally investing in our future, focusing on setting these kids up for success as they grow up to be good, productive,

you know, citizens here of Ohio and society in general. Again, speaking of early childhood education, that's so important too. We invested over sixty one million dollars in that, making sure that all kids have access to high quality preschool programs, again setting them up for success in school. Foster care. There's a fifteen thousand Ohio children living outside the care of their parents, So fifteen thousand kids, three thousand of them are awaiting adoption, and again investing

in foster care is critical. So twelve million dollars in funding there, I believe that'll play a massive role to stabilize their lives, which at the end of the day is what our goal is. Cendy Abrahams, thank you. Watch this morning CNN so you don't have to. And they did a report on public education in the city of New York. How about these factoids And anyone one day, twenty five percent of the students did not show up in school, and any one day twenty percent of the teachers did not school,

and they did testing. New York State required it. Seventy percent of the public school students are not functionally literate at the right age. Fourth graders cannot read and cannot mathematically compute. And the point was that we have to stop what we're doing and do something completely different. And I give Mayor Adam's credit.

In New York City, he's involving the corporate community, of which there are thousands of volunteers willing at three o'clock every day to report to an elementary school to sit down with small groups of students who cannot read when they're ten years old, to assist them in reading. Multilingual languages is a big issue there. They have to have. There's one hundred and forty different dialects being

taught in the New York City public schools. English is like sixth or seventh down the list, and so they're trying their best and in parts of since and I in the CPS, and you may know this that every day there's about twenty five percent kids here that are truant, and that we have a

better education system here in New York City. But unless we invest and spend the money and demand excellence for a seven eight, nine ten year old who can't read, We're going nowhere in this society and has got to stop. Representative. Sydney Abrams, you're the new You're the new wave of different representatives with different ideas. And once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show and Sydney Abrams will do it again. Thank you very much,

I spent six years candying at Kenwood Country Club. This guy probably learned after you, aren't after me. Jonathan Layman, Northern Kentucky's own was the candy for the winner of the Ladies PG Championship yesterday. Jonathan Layman. Welcome, I

think for the first time to the Bill Cunningham Show. Jonathan. Then, first of all, tell us about caddying today, how all the time everywhere including in the trans Mississippi US Women's opening. More for Sandra Haney, what's elected caddy today on the women's tour? Oh man, I'm I'm enjoying it. I mean it's it's been a been a great, great change of pace. I've been doing corn frea for most of my caddying career and uh been a cantul PJ termis. But I mean there's so many great people out there

on the LPJ. It's been, it's been great, and it's it's amazing to meet Jonathan. How good they are? I walked around a little bit last year in the Friendly Confines. The women are. In fact, I think the women are better than me. I watched them play golf exactly. What about the quality of play? How would you describe it? Yeah, they're very impressive. I mean especially they're like how straight they had it? Obviously, I'm uh yeah, they're just a lot of them are really steady

and very impressive. Games like all um, all around games are very very impressive. On the watch now, Johnathan Layman? Is that caddy for the winner yesterday? Her name she's from China, her name is running. Yeah, I may have that wrong, but how did you get the bag? How did you get the bag? Yeah? Yeah, she goes by Ronnie

Ronnie. Okay, that's been yeah, makes it easier, but yeah, yeah, it was this really crazy timing, Like I was coming off that corn frary, I was, I was kind of looking for something new. I was, um get a little a little bit burned out, I guess you could say, on that tour. Um and then um so I kind of sent a few messages out to somebody, but yeah, that were Caddy and out there on the on this on this tour, on the LPGA and let him know that I was kind of looking for something new and new,

a new bag kind of thing. Within twenty three minutes, it's a mac A message Sam that this girl's gonna let her her old caddy go and she's looking kind of thing, and it was just amazing timing. I just can't make it up kind of thing. So, Jonathan, how long were you? How long have you two been together? So this is our second second tournament? Uh wow? Uh yeah you got together two weeks ago. Stop

No, man, it's just I still can't quite believe it. I mean, it just happened so fast, and she um, I get tall. Let's see that matter. I mean her demeanor and like she's so calm and plucked it out there, doesn't let anything really get to her.

And uh she um. I mean her her golf game just very very impressive, like her balls striking better and some of the guys up Caddy four in the past and like just uh just real, real solid. Uh it's all kinds of fairways. And I think showing us like six screens in the whole week, so it's like, wow, I make it pretty easy to Crecor twenty twenty years old. And does is she gonna play in the Queen City Classic in September Kenwood Country Club? I believe so yeah, I think.

I think that's on our calendar. I'm still kind of getting to know her schedule counting, but uh yeah we got yeah, we got us open a pebble and next week and then it'll come into Toledo, so it'll be kind of guys, Tola, she wants a practice round at ken would get a hold of me. Yeah, the bank on that one. We'll go root. We'll go rooting for her, Jonathan, but we'll be rooting for you out there. Come uh when they come here. That's great, Jonathan Layman. You're carrying the bag of Ronnie Yen, who won the PGA and likely to win

the US Open. And I'm glad this is out for you. But seriously, if she wants to play a practice round, let me know. I'll take her out there and show her the ropes. Yeah, Good's not far away at all. Though. Did you grow up did you grow up in uh? Did? Did you grow up in Florence? Yeah? Most of my us my uh I could he could say, uh, teen years were in the more than Kentucky in that area. Like we lived in Florence, Kentucky for twelve years, I think, and then uh Taylor Milfer a few

years and uh so yeah, we're up there. Went to a lot of Reds games and um man, yeah, I love that love all right, John, John the thing. Please get a hold of me. I'm glad you did what you did. And I if I would have known, I watched yesterday she she had a birdie putt on seventeen that she missed. Then she got up and down from the bunk on eighteen to win. And if I knew it was you, I would have shared harder for directly. Yeah. Yeah, it was fun. It was really fun to see you get

her done. She came up really clutched on the last six fold there and just I was, I was just hat before. She deserved it, all right, Jonathan, great determined, she is all right. Good luck to you. I'll tell you one thing though, that was one of the greatest games ever to be played Friday Night and Red's history. Saturday they almost won. Yesterday they almost won again. It could have been fourteen no pitching, right, Diaz, it dis andn't given up that direct walk right? Who knows that's true? What about the progosion? What's your thoughts about the march on Moscow by Progosition? About that guy, Well, he created havoc over

the weekend and then you get one hundred and twenty miles away. In wait a minute, fellows or two, what is this a Forrest Gump where he runs across the country. He says, I want to go back home. I'm going back. I don't know what to say to me. Brad Weinstrup, has the answers ought to call him? What about Putin? He's a murderer, a rapist, and a thief. Unbelievable, Andy mc Vladimir Putin

not not my kind of guy. Of course, neither is Progoson. He's not exactly he's got yeah, I'm sure he yeah, he's not a little angel. I don't know what to say about all that. But we're another man issues. But there's always a connection. But day have Ronnie Yen, PGA ladies and caddies, had Florence, Kim Florence, Hadley Starkey, thanks a lot for your help. Hadley's a good man, a head man. Helped us out today. Willie Jonathan Layman also FC Cincinnati fell and lost at

DC United Saturday. But but TQL Stadium will be packed this Saturday one v two FCC versus New England, number one and number two in the Eastern Conference. Think about this weekend in Cincinnati coming up. You got the Reds and Padres, big big series. You got FCC and UH and New England Saturday, and then somebody named Taylor Swift who Friday and Saturday in the house. I used to date her. I call her T. Well, there's rumors

that she may be up here with us Friday as a stooge. Can't say, can't say, can't say no. But T and I went around until she found the music of John Mayer and then things changed a little bit. Taylor swift right, So we'll see what happens with t And if she comes up, she comes up, if she doesn't do, and it's up to her, she would be welcome. Is that fair? Yes or no? That is correct? We would welcome her here, that is correct as a

celebrity stooge. Yes, she would Monday at one thirty or two thirty, correct, Well, tomorrow will do the Walton Verona, Kentucky State championship track team. We're gonna run on here. And of course Thursday, Thursday, Centerville Elks Girls now home of the Elks, the state girls champions, will be here with Julie the coach. Shirlie Rodgers is the coach of the Elks and does not conclude this year's acknowledgement of high school boys and girls that have

won titles. I'm sure somebody else will get a hold of us if they do. It's getting a little bit later in the season. By next week it's the Life fourth though, can't believe it. William was. It looks as if a bloodless two was going to take place somehow between Moscow and Ukraine. But then all of a sudden, about forty eight hours ago, everything stopped.

And according to media accounts which I don't know to rely upon them or not, that Progosian has been given access to Belarus, which is completely out of character that anything Putin is done. The Wagner Group was killing with impunity many Ukrainians. In fact, that one point it appeared the Wagner Group was mainly

responsible for whatever successes the Russian Army had. But then when the Russian Air Force went after elements to the Wagener Group, Progosian, then the leader kind of began to march toward Moscow that was greeted as conquering heroes to two or three Russian cities. So as this mercenary group, about twenty thousand strong, showed up in southern Russia and went into Russian cities. They were welcomed by

Russians. All hell's breaking loose. But a man with many of the answers of courses represented brad Winstrop and brad Winstrip is on the Intelligence Committee, but he also is the chair of the Subcommittee on the Origins in response to COVID

nineteen. And also we have the whistleblower who is releasing information about what the Age knew and what the Age didn't know, calling him mainly a liar at a meeting and with he announced the whist the Age announced special announced that you know we have I can't proceed except in this district, which means all the stuff happening in Washington, I had no authority but to get it all started.

Congressman brad Winstrip, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. First of all, as we sit here toward the end of June, what in the hell is going on with Progrosion relative to that Wagner group. Well, yeah, it's interesting. You know, Belarus is a friend of Putin and they have maintained their allegiance or alliance with Russia right now, So that's interesting that

he's getting refuge there, but they're acting as the intermediary. I'm sure like having that bit of authority, but I think this is the worst of Putin's days ever since he has been in charge there. But you have to think about the mercenaries themselves. I mean, they are not your patriots fighting the war. They are for hire. They're just hired killers. They don't they're

not fighting for Mother Russia. I thing like that, they don't have patriotic bones necessarily in their body when it comes to the work that they're doing. So in some ways, what we started to see is it's kind of like a union wanting to go on strike, and they were reaching out to the human resources team right and saying, hey, things aren't good on the job here. And so you know, they turned themselves around and went right into Russia. And this is something that all of the Russian people can see.

So this is one you just don't spin out a very easily when it's in the public view. And as Putin called it, treason. And if these people when they come through these towns are being welcomed, that tells you where we are right now. But the Russian people, they see it and the United States and NATO and all of those that would like to see Russia get out of Ukraine and get us back to a peaceful state in that area. We got to use this and nothing else for the psychological operations on the Russian

people. I don't really think the Russian people have been in favor of this very much from the beginning. You're taking people out of prison to go serve, and ione else is conscripted. So this is really going to be bad for Putin in so many ways. I hear he's trying to meet with leaders of what would be his allies, and he's going to have a tough sell with them. Remember they've been trying to supply him with weapons, etc.

And they may just say your time is up. I don't know, but it's going to be a tough spin for him to try and win them back after we just saw what happened. It's an amazing thing to watch when these mercenaries using I guess secondhand Russian army equipment under the orders of progosion somehow begins in March towards Moscow, and then on Friday night you had a circumstance where CNN Live from Moscow and regular Russian soldiers guarding Moscow against this invasion that was

being welcomed by the Russian people. I'm looking at this, I'm thinking, what am I watching there? What would this be like the Pennsylvania National Guard marching on Washington, DC. Has had a good analogy or not? Um Well, I don't think that they They trained themselves to do the things that mercenaries do in the way that they do it. But yeah, to a

degree. You know, it's a component of what was Putin's forces and they just decided they they've had enough and didn't see this going in the right direction, I guess, and said this has got to stop, or at least we're stopping and we're gonna come. We're gonna come and talk to you. And they didn't seem to hesitate, but that's that's their mentality. So again, this isn't a war where people in the in the Soviet, in the

in Russia, their children are being gaining are gaining something from this. It's not something where it's like, hey, when we defeat Ukraine, which we attacked, our life will be so much better. Their lives are worse because of this, and there's no there's nothing better about it going forward, and there hasn't been and they failed miserably. They failed militarily miserably when they thought they would walk right in. Well, you know, hello, Vladimir Putin,

here you are. How does this play Can you think you're on the intelligence committee? How does this play out? Because right now we have North Korea sending missiles over to Japan. Well, I ran threatened nuclear war with Israel. We have the circumstances in China. According to the intelligence community, they're targeting Taiwan. We have a president who's mentally feeble. They can't make

decisions. The staff around him is doing it for him. We have Russia that was on the march now to there's to be a bloodless coup may take place. And in Russia all the oligarchs are done because they've lost their billions of dollars. They're all angry. You have the Russian military which is completely dysfunctional. You have a part of the Russian military five to eight thousand men, getting ready to attack Moscow. And of course Joe Biden was at Camp

David. Now he's supposedly back in the White House. We'll see what happens. Always I look around and I'm thinking, my God, And we haven't talked at all about the reaction of the Intelligence Committee to COVID. We haven't speaking what we want to talk about the whistleblowers who are calling the whistle of blowing the whistle on the FBI and the Department of Justice. The southern border

remains wide open. But just from the Russian perspective, can you play out the next two weeks and months if Vladimir Putin leaves power and pregoes and takes over at Leegedly he's worse than Putin? There are people that are worse than Putin? How does it get out? Luigi board, what's gonna happen? Well, one thing that I might just think about is one is Putin leaving and that's going to have to be the first step, and hopefully withdrawing from

Ukraine. When you talk about those other countries that are poised to do more things, such as North Korea, Iran and China for that matter, just better really assess how strong you might think you are, because Putin learned a lesson there. And also you have to understand what happens when you take on people that are fighting for freedom, that are actually fighting for something as opposed to just serving a dictator who wants to take more land, more property,

more value. And there's a big difference in that, and we see that time and time again throughout history, so we know, I mean, the last four or five days have been interesting. I don't know how it plays out. One of the reports this morning I saw indicated that Putin may go one of two ways. One withdrawal from Ukraine, which appears to be impossible. The other thing is to attack the nuclear facilities in the Ukraine to cause

a European crisis, and or use a nuclear weapon in Ukraine. Either way, I mean, the best thing would happen for him to leave Ukraine saying oh I made him. I can't conceive that's possible in him remaining in power. The other thing is to do what he did to the dams, which is attack the nuclear power plants, the largest in Europe and or use a nuclear weapon. Wouldn't that be a disaster, It certainly would be. He's got the capability of creating a disaster. He's already created one. He can

certainly create more. But the tide is turning against him, and I would hope that if he does step down or disappear in some way. Whoever takes over well learns from the lessons of Vladimir Putin and maybe decide it's time to create some peace around the world. Well, I don't know what's going to happen there. Let's get let's turn to page two. The whistleblower. Everywhere

I look and you have information on this. The whistle blower from the IRS who is calling the blowing the whistle on Mary Garland, who said that the weis the assistant US Attorney in Delaware had complete authority. That's not exactly what the whistleblower is saying. Obviously, we're looking at monster corruption at the top of the federal government, which many have to talked about. One information.

Since you're on the Intelligence Committee, can you share about these whistleblowers that are coming forward reporting the lies of Mary Garland and indirectly the FBI, Christopher Ray, what can you tell us? Well, first of all, I am on Intelligence Committee. But this has come through Ways and Means Committee at this point, and the reason being is Ways and Means has jurisdiction over taxed in the IRS, and so whistleblowers came to Congress voluntarily came to Congress, in

particular to both sides of the Aisle. They insisted on talking to both sides of the Aisle and the House of Representatives on the Ways and Means Committee. So the Democrats have been involved with this since the beginning. Just last week, though, we had to have a closed session where we discuss the allegations and decide if we want to make them public. The Democrats were opposed to the release of the whistleblower allegations, which of course is not necessarily a surprise.

But we have oversights. Our agencies are not infallible, and that's what we have to understand, and Congress has a responsibility and that includes the intelligence community as well. They're not infallible and they may have motives that are not necessarily in the best interests of honesty and integrity. So in the name of truth and justice, it seems that we have a two tiered system. You

know. One of the things I want to point out with Hunter Biden and the charges against him, is that he has a plea deal supposedly, but the judge has to accept that. As I understand it, the Democrats are saying we shouldn't release any that we need to have an investigation first. What we are investigating, and I think the judge in this case should investigate as well. Are as mister White, a whistle blower, engaged with them.

And you remember mister White, he doesn't decide these things. And what happened, unfortunately, of what we're hearing, is that he wanted to take this up to chain the way they normally do the whistle blowers, that is, and the IRS chain of command decided they would refer to the Department of Justice. And he said, but if the normal procedures were followed, they would

have executed search ones themselves, conducted interviews, and serve document requests. But the IRS chain of commands and now take it over to DJ and soie. In March of twenty two goes the prosecuting team and again he doesn't decide these things, and he referred to the US Attorney in DC. They declined it. Then he saw a special counsel in the spring of twenty two that was denied. Then he went to the Central District of California in the fall of

twenty two that was denied. On all three of these cases, they were Biden appointees that were doing the denying. So you know, here's a guy one. He evaded his taxes. That's a felony if guilty, committed fraud, made false statements another felony if guilty, and a willful failure to file or pay or supply information that's a misdemeanor. That's the only thing they're they're charging him one. And I was told by some people that were at the

state dinner as we had the Indian Prime minister in town. There were only two Republicans invited that I know of, but they said Hunter Biden's walking around his tux like everything's all good, everything's great. I mean, you can't make this stuff up. And so I hope that the judge ultimately doesn't accept this this plea deal, if that's still in play, which I think it

is. And you've got to take a look what these whistleblowers allegations are and say there is no way this is not justice by any means when you compare. I'll tell you one of the members of Ways and Means even pointed out, you know, Pete Rose didn't declare some of his income from signing autographs and he went to jail. You know, we look look at the things that Hunter Biden has done. And you know, you've seen the the quote

that came from the WhatsApp message where he's telling Henry Zoo in China. You know, I'm with the big guy, right we didn't say big. I'm here with my father and he'd like to understand why the commitment hasn't been fulfilled. I want this done, basically say, I'm sitting here waiting for the call with my father. O, good lord, what more do you need

to launch a full scale investigation and try and get to truth? But that's where we are in America today, Bill, And I'm not one that was conspiracy theorist, but there's just too much that is in plain, in plain English, that you've got to say, what are we doing? So?

Um? You know. And I'm one who sat through the hypocrisy of the Russian collusion investigation being on Intel Committee and all those types of things that in the impeachment etc. Where the committee became the impeachment committee rhythm than the Intelligence Committee. We have a lot of clean enough to do, Bill, No, but this one, this one deserves a lot of attention. Right now.

Everyone says on this it's up to the federal judge on sentencing. You can't bind his hands, which is exactly operated the way it should operate. But it doesn't. Let's face it, everyone in the country who's going to be charged with the I RST tax violation should and the Biden deal, which is I can have sex with underage prostitute, snort cocaine, flee some millions of dollars all around the world, and my father sitting next to me.

I e the Vice President, Joe Biden, where's the five million dollars? I want it now? Not accurately file any tax returns, lie, cheat, and steal, and guess what, nothing happens. Pete Rose didn't get it. All those rappers handed. He's had a bunch on this week talking about there's thousands of Americans sitting in prison on gun law violations and not filing tax returns. In his case, over three million dollars of unreported income and

nothing happened. Congressman, I tell you what, I'm up against the clock already. I mean, we haven't gotten to the origins of COVID. We got to do that against them. I'm watching Injustice on steroids and brad winstp at some point a little soon what the intelligence community says about the origins at COVID. But the whistleblowers and the Hunter Biden deal and the possible coup in

Russia is also terribly important. But Congressman once again, yeah, go ahead, Yeah, those take priority right now, and they're gonna be unbelievable. Martha Stewart. There was the federal prison for some tax returned, Pete Rose didn't report cash on some signing his name. And there's Hunter Biden fleecing the Chinese, the Ukrainians and the Yugoslavians getting millions of dollars, having all these shell companies structuring deals and all over the Biden family and nobody, nobody can

figure it out. It's all, we don't know what to do. This is complicated. Well, we gotta run, really gotta run now. But brad Winstrup once again, God bless you, and thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Thank you. You bet they'll take care. God bless you. Let's continue. The big guy got his ten percent and he's sitting in the Oval office. Bill Cunningham on seven hundred WW. My doctor told me I should start swimming last for exercise, but I found out he

Entrepreneurism it's a key attribute of what makes Cincinnati a great place to live, work and enjoy life and to thrive. The clock is taking on him, how he explained, Ellie, And where do you put him? How do you

help me put him? I mean, has there been and this is the extreme, has there been a better switch hitting speed power guy has the only comp I can think of his Mickey Mantle, you know, young Mickey Mantle. And that's unfair to put on Ellie. Maybe the greatest, one of the greatest players of all time. He's at least got plenty of time to entertain the fans. But he hit a ball to wall today as hard as I've seen anybody hit a ball. And then he's trying to score on a

pick and he almost did. You had to get a perfect throw from a gold Glove caliber first baseman. So um, you know, there's no there's no comparison. There's I've got nobody compare him too. There's no precedent I've seen in my experience, and you know, um, how lucky are we here in Cincinnati have him. He's he like every player, is going to go through stretches where he's gonna have to adjust and refine his game. But just the core of it, just the base of what he has is you

know, it's just it's it's out of this world. Hello, quiet s, I'm broadcasting and a rock. I'm not sure Della Cruz is old enough to order a beer? Is he twenty one? Seg um, let me check here, might be just turned twenty one. And the guys compared to Mickey relikable. My kid, all my all, my kids, it's Ellie Mania. They just love him and by the way, very likable. I watched an interview Jim Day did with him after a game and it's all friend, I love the fans. I'm just so thankful to be a part of

this team. And his fan base is so great. I mean, it's it's so wonderful hot. He turned twenty one in January, so he's twenty one and a half. Being compared by Vado to Mannel, I often forget that Mickey Mannel is a switch hitter. By the way, Eddie Murray was

a switch hitter. He's another one. Baltimore Orioles. He did until they played at night, Murray and the Reds and you might you might recall in nineteen Robbins sineteen seventy they lost four out of five in the World Series to the Orioles and Brooks and Frank Robinson, who was beating the crap out of the Reds, right, he said, Rousse playing for the Red Center. Okay, but you know ed Roush, of course he was picked as the

Reds player of the first half of the twentieth century. Your favorite Ed Roush? Pretty good. You can't mention the Rads without eventually coming to ed Ralph Rowse. She's in the Baseball Hall of Isn't that good? That's pretty gravity Reds on the Hall of Fame. I think it was like fifteen or twenty. But he's one of them. So I don't know if ed Roush as somebody we compare him to Cruise. Well, let's say tonight they how about beating Baltimore and paying them back for that? Yeah, yeah, Robinson.

The human vacuum is still Langer Edge Baron behind the plate. L Rod Hendricks. Remember him, he was the catcher, left hander. Yeah, remember him, el Rod Hendrix. They had Dave McNally. Uh. They had a heck of a pitching staff there in Baltimore. By Johnson, he was at second, didn't hit forty home runs, right, and they got a good team. And then they played the Reds tonight and so the same team. I mean, let's go Rick and Eddie Murray. They're loaded in Baltimore.

Do you have any little rocks that can pitch winnied pitchers? But the camps right there? Harrison, Yeah, or nine? You Nash team? Are you throwing the curveball or no? We're just trying to get the knuckle curve. We're working on that one, but no, we're just trying to get it over the plate. Anybody who coaches or watches youth baseball just throw it over the plate and if they hit it, it doesn't. It is

much less damage than if you walk people. Because if you walk, oh, it's a triple kid that walks is automatically on third, second, steal third, and that's it. Maybe major League Baseball out of and put that in next. What about that get cruise walk gets a triple good for him. Why not? The way the game is played today, stealing is a lot easier than it used to be. Bigger bassis too. But my son's team coached by Ben Mooreline, Chris Waite, Mike Russell, Patrick Kemper Strong

victory strong coaching. Since NI Western Baseball Conference nine U National Tournament was one, I would say, bring him in, but only bring in high school champions or caddies. We hit on the caddy for right for un Yeah, of course, Jonathan Layman out of Florence, from Florence, the caddy, he leaves the UH the minor league touring, the PJA. You didn't have a bag, getta get a bag. You need a bag, You need

a bag. So he get the bag. He says, I'll try the ladies tour and he sends out a blast, and all of a sudden, Ronnie Yen from China hits a hold of him. Two weeks ago, from China to China. She's twenty years old, from China, and she wins the A Major, A Major and all of us. She will be here at the Kroger Classic, and now she's gonna play with me at ken Wood. To get ready. She didn't play last year. She was too young. If you two were to square off, who would win? She would?

I've seen him. Pl You know what, that's about the smartest I answer you have ever given. You know straight? You talk about straight, I'm talking two fifty two sixty straight, the next shot straight. It's not all the words. Whether it's youth baseball or golf. If you just hit the ball straight, you're in good shape. A can base tell us throw the ball straight and she can put a little bit too four thirties at the end to win it. Jonathan Lehman now is in the clover. Let me

ask you this in thirty seconds. Tell me what are the qualifications what makes a good caddy in golf county. There's stree things you have to do in caddy, show up on time, carry the bag properly, and shut the hell up. Wait so I thought they like I thought, but I thought they were suggesting, Hey, you should use a three iron on this one. And I'm talking about one hundred and seventy eight yards. No, hit it straight, pal, So a damn thing about golf. I could be

a caddy. I can be on time, I can shut up, and I can walk decent. I can hurt hurt show every day. That's right. Talk heard Jack Nicholas talking to below his caddy, which is show up, carry the bag properly and shut up, because if I need to you shut up, carry the bag. If you got to ask you on a shot, I'm Jack Nicholas. Tiger was hey, hey, what you do here? How do you think here? Bruno? Well, you know it

goes right. I was gonna use my sex, but you saying night okay, puts it over the green you think about it the seats, thanks Bruno. Than about giving the player the wrong club and he it's it thirty yards? No, No, you want to say how far is it? It's what it's shut up, show up, carry up, and carried a band shut up. Those are the three rus I had that question and now I will never forget it never. I know what a caddies. I think they're important. No, that dees probite? What bone says? Who you know?

Fluff? Remember fluff Fluff guy with a giant mustache. He's now with fury. But that's It's kind of like these celebrity trainers. At the end of the day, you just want a celebrity trainer. If he's training like Tom Brady or Lebron James. Just show up up, occupies someone's time for a couple of hours and don't get him hurt. That's it. That's it. Speaking of that Sweden, No what Sweden. The big headline by Team Yes says quote Sweden shocks Europe, abandons the unstable green energy agenda, returns

to nuclear power. May said, it's too cold, getting cold. We don't like it. I feel like that the tide is turning here in America. People are understanding that all this green initiative stuff is actually more harmful on the environment. You've done shows talked about the couple of mind it cost yeah, and then what it costs, what it costs to run one of these cars, what it costs to get rid of one of these cars. The net carbon from what goes into producing it is doesn't zero out, It hurts,

invihars it. So Greta Thunberg now is issued another missive that we have five years to live as human beings. How many times is John Kerry and Al Gore soon? Four times? We're all day sees videos all the time. It's like back in you know, two thousand and three year, right, we got five years. Oh boy, we're gonna have big bug eyes. We're gonna be breathing out of our ear loads. Twous got four years,

four years polar ized chaps gonna melt. So if you want to kill a bunch of African boys in the minds of the Congo, buy an ev. Do you want to kill African boys? Do not? Who are like your son's age in a cave and the gig lies that they use, all this technology to mine and really all it is is like working age boys like fifteen to like fifty year out there digging with their hands in their hands,

yeah, destroying it. And what happened to America's was happening in the Congo, which is, you bribe the leadership for millions and millions of dollars, then you rape the country economically for billions. In America, you bribe the Bidens, get them on the green energy agenda, get all the batteries that you can make from us. So the communist red Chinese have given the Bidens sixty some million dollars, bribed them, accepted the money, and now they're

raping our country for billions of dollars. Same thing in the Congo. I saw this video that showed that it's all these EV cars made in China. I mean tens of thousands of them sitting just empty in a lot, and they produce them so they can call themselves the world's largest producer of electric vehicles. Therefore they get the top government subsidies. It's amazing what goes into this,

and we sit there. We had legitimate media that would say, now we're going to send investigators to the Congo to see about the murder and rape of the youth of the Congo to produce the lithium for these battery How many reports have you seen on that zero you bribe the leadership a guy on Joe Rogan's podcast who laid it out. It is unbelievable, Andy Mack. When s robanights and living in Harrison figure it out, we're gonna be in better shape. But don't tell me about the EV. Talk to the suite who

say, man, it gets cold here in the wintertime. We don't have time for probably snow and air already right now, as anybody thought about with all these electric cars, they wait what like a thousand and fifty pounds the bridges parking garages destroys them it's thought about that, what if there was a net positive here, Let's go sign me up, let's go, let's do

it. But the Chinese bribe the bidens. Now they have access to our markets and they're raping us economically, and our news media is part of the part of the hoax of green energy success. It's a hoax segment. Are you done yet? Well? Ea, the stude reporters a proud service. Every local temp Star heating and air conditioning dealers temp Star quality. You can feel it.
