All right, Billy Cunningham, the Great America. Welcome with glorious but hot Monday afternoon in the Tri States. Reds baseball kicks off about five forty tonight Reds and Pittsburgh. What dramatic games in Milwaukee, of course, the Reds have now lost eight consecutive series to the Brew Crew, which is not good
but extremely competitive and in relative is second base. Gordon Vederino always told me, when you're on second base and you anticipate a single, you take a walking lead, take two or three more steps, and then when the ball is hit with two houses, take off. I'm not sure that happened, but nonetheless Reds lose two out of three. Back out it in Pittsburgh to night. But until then, Brian Hamrick, welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Brian, how are you so? I'm good? Thanks for getting
this for Cunningham. We're gonna talk about the main streets of Madisonville. But before we got there, a little birdie whistling in my ear that you went to see the Rolling Stones. Tell me where were they? Mick Jagger, what about Keith Richards, Ronnie Woods, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts, May not have been there. Keith Moon may not have been there, Brian Jones may not have been there. But tell me about the Rolling Stones. Tell me the story. Oh, this was a I'll tell you what. I've
seen him a few times. I think this was the best. I think they were better than I've ever seen him before. The setup was great. It was in Cleveland, So we were at Cleveland Brown Stadium. I don't know how many people that things hold polls that it was jammed to every seat that was available. You didn't have the behind the stage, they didn't sell those, but the entire stadium was jam packed mostly you know, like mostly buzzers my age. You know, I think I was one of the younger
people. Was one of the only places I go anymore where I'm the younger guy, you know. And I know that was good by younger people because I took my three boys who had never seen him, and I'm just like, this is like rock history. You cannot you know. The first concert ever took him to was Paul McCartney and they loved that and uh and so I took him to see the Rolling Stones and they were they were blown away. And these guys, I mean, the setup they had there. It
was Christy. You could hear every guitar string and we were up you know, and uh, you could see the whole thing. And those guys they they didn't Yeah. I got to tell you, man, they hadn't lost a step since the sixties. They looked and sounded awesome and they're the eighties, right Yeah. Yeah. Now when I say looked awesome, I mean the show looked great. The guys look like, you know, they you can tell they've had a few years. It was interesting because Mick Jagger,
they they you never saw a close up with him. They had like they would shoot him at best from about the knees up. That's about as close as you ever saw on the big screen. Mick Jagger, he's like he learned the same thing I did on the TV. I said, none of these head and shoulder shots for me. I don't want to scare the kids. Well, the thing is you're talking. Tony Bender tells me the Beatles are the greatest rock band of all time. And I tell Tonis I agree.
The music over those ten years, but you talk about sixty years making his right, selling out stadiums. Mick Jagger, Keith Richard especially to me, that's on President. I can't imagine any other rock band ever going sixty years and selling out stadiums. I may put the Rolling Stones out of the Beatles at this point. I might do it. It's amazing. I mean, yeah, it's a real toss up for what you know. The Beatles opened the door and did so many kind of different things with music that weren't
being done, hadn't been done and thought of. But like you said, the long jevity of the tone. I mean, it's a heck of a quandary really to have two that you would have to say, But which really is at the top of the I mean, there's so many other great you know that and those guys climbed up, you know, the Chuck Berry you know way to get there, and the great you know, Elvis and the
people that came before them. But yeah, to talk about rock and roll bands, I mean, they're certainly, you know, got to be among the well. I don't know who else you'd put really in a conversation with those two. And that said, let's talk about the mean streets of Cincinnati. There are some narrator wells and misinformed that believe crime is way down talk about Madisonville. What happened there, Bramble Park shooting. You're working that plus
this pervert trying to pick up kids. Brian Hamrick, You've been there for a long time. The mean streets of Cincinnati never been so mean. Explain the investigation of the Bramble Park shooting in Madisonville. Well, you know, they're trying to figure out who came down there. Here here they are.
You know, these folks that are out there in the community are trying to put on They're trying to do what you need to do to make your community safe and nice and somewhere, you know, kids have something to do, people can go out. I mean, this is you know, one of the measures that you take to get and get to the steps and get to the peace that you want. And in the middle of it, here comes
somebody with a gun, some numbskull who wants to open up fire. Who knows, you know, at this point we don't know if somebody was targeted. Is this something they just did because they were trying to get a laugh out of it? Where they looking for somebody in particular? These are the kind of things that the police are trying to track down, right Now, there were apparently no officers at the event, but the chief was talking about that yesterday saying, look, we can't be at every single event. You
know, there's events all over and we're spread pretty thin. And she actually used the word tired in the summer's beginning, and we're already tired talking about the number of you know, people that they need and that they're still trying to fill some of those voids. But you know, that's not something you exactly expect to hear from your chief or from your police, like we're tiring or getting tired. It's much to hear that. Well, that's because there's
so little prime. You know, they're tired because they have so they einat donuts all day, They got nothing to investigate, and they're tired. Chief Thiji said, we need help. I can't imagine right if one or two individuals are cranking off twenty to thirty shots and no one saw anything in hundreds of people. Do you believe that. Do you think there's a fear of
coming forward? Oh? I think that's still out there. I mean it's still out there, and it's something that you know, a lot of these folks that we see out on the street all the time talk about you know, Mitch Morris and pastor Peterson Mingo and these guys, they talk about that concern. But they and I think they've done better over the years to try and make people more comfortable about coming forward and anonymous tips and these sorts of
things. But that's still something you know, snitches get stitches. That's something that's still is out there and is still a concern, and you know, four afraid to come forward even now, Like I said, I think it's better than it was, but there that still is. That's a dark cloud looming over the business of investigation people trying to you know, get answers on
what happened or something like this. According according to the police, there were two witnesses of the shooting told the police there was a fisticuff fight broke out at the event and gunshots rang out. They were unsure if the gunfire came from those fighting. Roughly thirty shots were fired. Witnesses said there were hundreds of people in Bramble Park and Madisonville, including many children, many babies. Five were injured. One is in critical condition and at this point they're asking
silence is a form of violence. Does anyone who has information or may witness this tragic event, We asked you please come forward. Cincinnatian should be upset. This is happening repeatedly. The other there were other drive by shootings last week. There were three drive buys over a two day period. To my knowledge, no one's arrested for that. In your long hair, you've been out it for twenty five or thirty years. Do you think there's more of
these events happening now than ever before in Cincinnati? You know, just on a basis where I'm looking at, you know what, without any looking at any statistics, it seems to me like we're seeing more of these than we've ever seen before, especially these ones where people drive up fire off a bunch of shots. You know, that eleven year old over in the West End was killed that way. They never have figured out who killed that eleven year
old. And this sort of thing just seems to be like prevalent, you know, like you said, we there's so many of these things that we hardly even you know, cover some of them anymore, because you know, if nobody gets hit or somebody just shot in the leg, you know, it's like, yeah, that's just another one, but a lot of times we'll get the audio recording of these things and you'll hear sounds like a machine gun. It's like, you know, you'll hear these things going off.
So so these people have access to some pretty high powered weaponry stuff that's not legal already. You know, you'll you'll because you can hear it. They're like machine guns and uh it. And they don't care. They don't care where they shoot. There's no uh concern for human life whatsoever. And the folks that are doing this, uh A lot of these folks are really young.
They have no idea, no real concept, and you know, whatever kind of life they've had growing up has basically conditioned and have no no concern for or regard for anybody else. And they'll just fire randomly and and and and none of them can shoot, I mean none of them. I don't care, you know, nobody. Then they may have guns, but they don't know anything about guns, you know, They just they know how to turn it on and how to make a fire. They watch the movies.
They turn their gun sideways and they spray into a crowd of people, you know, because they've seen it. They think they think this looks cool, you know, and you know, and it's it's from the beginning. A lot of these folks are involved in this, you know, it's in the entire They grow up in a culture unlike anything that probably most of us can imagine. From the you know times they're very young, they're they're they're talking to people. The people that they talk to are involved in this sort of
thing. They begin to, you know, get enamored with this lifestyle and and when they do, that's what they aspire to. They aspire to be feared, They aspire to be you know, like what they consider their heroes, these guys that either went to jail or already got killed. And they have no concept really what they're doing, have no they have no idea what
the endgame is on it. They just they just like the hearing and now in the minute and this kind of you know, in their mind, they're getting some sort of you know, street cred or respect out of this, and that's what they shoot for. That's their goal. Like other kids want to be doctors or lawyers or you know whatever. Well, Brian Hemrick, what's needed is faith and family. Fathers formed family structures, and the great majority of those are victims. The great majority kind of know. The answer
is that we don't have family structure, We don't have faith anymore. The churches are empty, and fathers are not in the home, and government pays dads not to become involved with the mother, and they go from an event to event, and until family structure is rebuilt, until there's a sense of
faith, this will continue. You can try the swimming pools and the midnight basketball, you can try the peace rallies and all that kind of stuff, but there's too many young men running around without family structure, without education. And one of the best things they have is lots of battle wounds. And we go into certain parts of our community, the number of shots you've taken in your body. You can point out the arm, the leg, the hip, ham in good shape. Look at this, I got this,
I got that, And that's what's important. And there's not a sense of education, there's not a sense of a family structure, of a proper family structure, not a sense of faith. And until those issues are resolved, which may not be able to be resolved, all these other peace get togethers
and Maingo and the rest of them are well intended. I watched I think it was on Channel five last week the head er Dock at Children's Hospital, a very fine woman, said that we have to We're going to have five hundred people shot this year in the city of Cincinnati and between u See and Children's Hospital. It's terrible. And here it is the middle of June. And when Fiji says we're overwhelmed, we're tired. We run from event to event. We put up the tape, whether it's North College Hill or it's
Avondale or Madisonville, put up the tape. We try to interview witnesses who are overwhelmed. We're going to have twenty thousand shots fired this year in the city of Cincinnati, and we don't know who did it. And when you make an arrest, you go down to juvenile Court and Judge Bloom releases them immediately and then puts it on the diversion docket and there's no reporting of the crime. And that's where we are. Secondly, you did a great report
last week. I wanted to check with you this Monday afternoon on this pervert trying to pick up kids. Explain what's going on there and parents should be aware what's happening. Oh, that was yeah, that was up North College Hill. So they got apparently some report of a guy in a dark the dan trolling through the neighborhoods, and so they were on the lookout for this guy. I actually talked to one of the kids who saw this guy.
He pulled up to these kids. I'm guessing this kid must have been like twelve, thirteen, fourteen years old, and he had a couple of his buddies with him that were over there near North College Hill Kroger, and the guy basically solicited them for sax. Kid the twelve thirteen year old kids, and they took off, went into the Kroger and told the security guard, and then the security guard reported it. And then I talked to the kid's mom and she was like, you know, like every nightmare of every parent,
are like, what is going on? Because you don't know. I mean, this guy's saying something is one thing that you don't want to happen. But you don't know what this guy has in his mind or what he
might do next, what's his next step. Because a lot of these kind of folks that had these kind of strange, you know, notions about the world that might just be the first step or you know, it tends to escalate and you know, it's not too far away from having an abduction, and then you know it goes from from this to a you know, even more serious. So the North Talley Kill police last year, we talked to them, Uh, they were working on it. They said they were close
to having maybe some sort of an announcement on it. But that was last Friday. Uh, there still hasn't been any new development on it as of this morning. Last I checked, Uh, there was no new development on it. So but I got a sense that they might be getting some information. Uh. I know that at least some of the witnesses were coming forward,
those kids were telling them what they what they knew about it. And and again, like we talked about any other situations, when when people will you know, stand step up and say, hey, look, I'm not going to stand for this. This is what's going on. Uh. And this family and I talked to, you know, they were among that group. It's like, we're going straight to police. We're not going to have this this guy, you know, running around in our neighborhood. And that's
that's part of the solution to fix in it. Yeah, part of the solution is in the North College Hill case, the community. Once this guy arrested in Madisonville or Avondale or Evanston or the west End, there's many sense well when that kid has gunned down, and with the west End it's like, well, you know, you know, you know, snitches get stitches. But this is the kind of an offense where North College Show is going to come up and say, we can't put up with this. But Brian
Hammrick, we got to run. Thanks for coming on. Crime is up, but reporting a crime and arrest are down. Those are the facts and many people don't want to hear that, but that's the way it is when the chief of police says we're tiring, well, we run from event to event. We need more cops, more jails and judges to lock people up. Brian Hammrick, once again, congratulations on the Rolling Stones and Mick Jagger and it's fabulous and once again thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show.
Brian, thank you very much. Well, Bet yeah, you know, Mick Jagger, by the way, is married to a woman named Hammrick, so it's it's kind of I think it's in the family. Are you related to mix something. Maybe we got to be related or all related all the hand. I think he's got about fifteen or twenty kids. He's got numerous models, and I assume his new wife's about thirty years old or something, but probably about thirty. Yeah, yeah, the runway model. I
have the same problem he's got, so I understand. But Brian Hamrick, thank you very much for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Give my best. All the folks at five. Thanks again, Miss cunning Out. Thank you, Brian. Let's continue with more. It's one thing if you're a pervert, okay, we'll turn you out. But if you're simply a shooter at a peace park in Bramble and Madisonville, well we have to be careful. Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred WLW. It's hit the music,
Dave, hit the music, the Great American. Here another glorious Monday afternoon in the Tri State Bar. None red Spaceball kicks off about five forty tonight in pitt and we'll see what happens. I love the spunk, the drive, the persistence of my reds in Milwaukee. Of course, they've lost a consecutive series to the Brew Crew. That's a different issue, and I mentioned
this to Brian Hamrick. When you have two outs in the ninth inning and you're on second base, what you gotta do is cheat the lead a little bit and take four or five steps and kind of keep heading toward third. So if there is a single up the middle or in the center field, you get a maybe a ten foot head start on scoring. And I don't think that was done. Gordon Veterino, my old manager, would point out that it's up to the base runner to score from that position, and he
should have. But nonetheless, Reds lose, Reds lose. Reds. Lou's back out of tonight only about a game and a half out of the wild
to car we'll see what happens. And secondly, Tom Brady, who I declare the greatest football player of all time, gave a speech the other day in Foxborough when he accepted the Hall of Fame and the statue and the number retired, and he brought out a rather interesting point that is Germaine to you and I and that the classic phrase of talent is important, and connections are important, but the number one attribute that makes you or I successful is persistence,
an attitude of never say die, keep working, run through the tape, and run another ten steps. In other words, never quit and show up for work and do your job. And so few Americans have that attitude today that you have to work, you have to support yourself, you got to take risks, and you got to show up at eight o'clock in the morning and worked at four or five in the afternoon. I had that example in my home with my mother, who worked as a line cook at Married
Hot Shops. She made a dollar sixty an hour and tried to get a little bit of overtime to make an extra eighty cents in overtime. But when she was making too much overtime, Married Hot Shops called her quote a manager. Then she had to work fifty hours a week as quote a manager and
not be paid overtime. And that's not the way life ought to be, but it's the way life is. And the fact is that no matter what it is, that if you don't have family structure, and those around you have no family structure and you do not value education, and crime is applauded and good behavior is criticized, and getting grades is quote acting white, good grades acting quote white, whatever the hell that means. You're likely to fail
in life in many different ways. There's millions and millions and millions of Americans who have no idea what work is. Show up every day, don't skip out, do your job, and in the end you'll be rewarded one way or another with promotions and more money and the fact you're valuable. A few days ago, I had an air conditioning problem. I got a hold of the folks that Stacy HVAC. Came over and a couple guys, and one
guy came and said, it's more extensive than I thought. Another guy came and about four hours into the process, one of the guys from Stacy said it is going to take longer than we thought. And I said, well, you know, it's kind of warm out. So I say, hey, we're not leaving till the job's done. We're going to stay here until it's right. And they stayed till like seven o'clock at night, and they
got it right. And I talk about Rumki. I have a garbage man comes every Wednesday morning, and every now and then I talk to him and he talks about I have three kids, I got to support my family, and I'm not the brightest the sharpest knife in the drawer. But I know one thing I will work gets up at four four thirty am every day, and whether it's raining or freezing or hotter than the hinges of hell, that guy works to support his family. And I know many talented individuals that are
very bright that never make it in life at all. And I know a whole bunch of people. They work in municipal government, they work in the clerk's office, They work may I call them their jobs menial, and they're very valuable, and they're very important because they make this economy work. I think about that female sixty years old working in the clerk's office downtown in Cincinnati. There's a large parking garage behind the Arms and Deputy building where I spend
so many times as a young attorney. And this woman who reports to work every day, she reported at six thirty five am to start work at seven, and a couple of bums, derelicts decided to beat her up and steal her car, take her stuff. Sixty years old and those involved have not been apprehended, of course, and they had gloves on and masks, so identity is going to be very difficult. And we live in a society now where hard work and perseverance makes you almost seem like a fool, like you're
a derelic. Why do that? You can get food stamps and a housing voucher and medicaid and all the rest. If you don't work, you're rewarded. If you do work, then you're punished. That is bass ackwards and it's wrong. But I see it all the time. Is the concern I have greatly that I see help when it signs all over town, and that people tell me they cannot find people that will actually work and not look for excuses not to. So that's the major problem, whether it's Madisonville or Indian
Hill, no matter what, it is. To be successful, according to Tom Brady, is to be persistent, to have a work attitude, to know there's events greater than yourself. You must pay your own bills in life, not rely upon others to put money in your pocket, either legally or
illicitly. That's what's required in this great society of ours. And when we have I don't know, ten to twenty million illegals born across the Southern border in the last four years, and we have fifty two million persons living in America not born here, and if we continue on this path another four to five years, that number is going to be closer to one hundred million.
Case it's overturned, there's a teeter totter at which point you're over the over the hump, in which case you can't survive, And right now we're at that point. Donald Trump is an imperfect messenger for what I'm saying. But the alternative is to continue on the same route, and no one, you and I know that Joe Biden is senile and can't do the job. He's being manipulated by those around him. They're issuing orders and opinions that Joe Biden,
because he's senile, has no idea what's happening. And it is hoped by Democratic activist on June the twenty seventh before CNN that Joe Biden somehow fails, then there'll be a movement in July begun by the mainstream media to substitute either Gavin Newsom or Governor Gretchen Whitmer of Michigan in his place at the convention in August in Chicago. Knowing that Kamala Harris is a complete and competent and
she can't do it. The reason those manipul elating Joe Biden established a date June twenty seventh, and the Trumpster quickly acquiesced to it is because they want him gone and they know that the risks past August are immense. That is, it will take one more occasion where he falls down the steps, poops his pants, or is let off stage by Obama for the American people to say, that's impossible. I'm not voting for Joe Biden because he's not the
president, and Kamala Harris will take over in the first six months. If somehow Biden is reelected at the inaugural was shortly thereafter, the mainstream media will start attacking Joe Biden's sinility and that the drum beat will begin, and then Obama will pull the plug one Biden that he did not want to run for office in the first place, and substitute someone else, which can be done up until probably the first week in September when the ballots are going to print,
which case is too late. By the second debate the first week in September, it will be way too late. So that's what's happening. Secondly, Mike McConnell is a great radio talk show host. He's on my Mount Rushmore that passed fifty years right here, and I like to think this is the only radio station that truly matters in Cincinnati. I take Jim Scott, the living Legend. I take by the Way, still fighting like a warrior, poet, Gary Burbank, Mike McConnell, and of course me. Those
are the four horsemen of the apocalypse. And I wish him well. He's been in radio. I think next March or April, Mike mcconnald's going to complete fifty years in radio, and may he have fifty more years in radio. He often takes a contrarian position because in his mind it justifies wrongful thoughts, and in this case, I'm told by some this morning he went after
yours truly. On the issue of crime. Of course, it's hard to prove a negative, but everyone I talked to, all the national experts, will say that crime is greatly up, but the reporting of crime and the prosecution of crime is greatly down. And those are the facts. Facts don't lie, And so I continue to put on guests and information to you that indicates Houston, we got a problem. We have police that are demoralized.
Listen to Chief Thiji who says here it is what June the seventeenth. I think this is the date to nineteen seventy two that had the watergate to break, and I think today was June seventeenth, nineteen seventy two, but that's a different issue. Today's June seventeenth. Here it is June seventeenth. And the police chief, who, by the way, knows about crime, would you agree, Chief Teresa Thiji knows said the troops are demoralized. They're running
reggan from drive by shooting to drive by shooting. In the lastw week there's been several in the city of Cincinnati and twenty thousand shots fired by shot spotter and one years a little bit much. Would you agree in each one of them is illegal. So she's saying, you know, we need help and
not getting the help. They're about down two hundred police officers. But you take the Irish rollies and the PG Purivoles, etc. They don't want to concede that they failed at their most basic function, which is law and order, and it's broken. When someone is arrested, they're quickly out on bond. You have too many judges downtown, like Judge Silverstein, who simply doesn't believe she needs to follow the constitution and considering the public safety of the community.
So Judge Samanthas Silverstein releases hardened criminals on little or no bond for vicious criminals, vicious crimes, vicious assaults than in juvenile courton. Judge Bloom does not believe that the juvenile court system should lock anyone up. She told one of the reporters on Channel five that the harm inflicted upon the crown by spending one or two nights in jail is awful and she wants to avoid that.
So when vicious criminals under the age of eighteen recruited by the gangs to commit crime, are caught, she puts them on the diversion docket, which means they're not reported, so therefore crime is down. You go to Room A, which is the original court appearance of everyone arrested in Hamlin. The county
used to be packed and stacked. Now it's largely empty because police are not arresting criminals, and they don't arrest because they're demoralized, and witnesses don't want to come forward, and shopkeepers that have frequent pillaging of their stores feel as if calling the police is worthless, so they don't do it. So that's where we are, and I don't see a way out of it. Come November the sixth, the Lord willing, I'll be with you, and we
have a new president. It's either going to be Biden or Trump. Not exactly a new president, but whoever gets elected. Are people that think as I think, going to really say, Joe Biden, boy, he won that farre and square, go get him. Let's stand down for a while, Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, do what you want to do. Or if Trump wins, is the radical left the Democrats going to say, okay, he's the president, let's give him a year or two to implement his
policies and see what happened. Absolutely not. It's going to be chaos either way, complete chaos. Had a guest on last night talking about the billions of dollars that have been raised by democratic activist groups to launch hundreds of lawsuits all over the country fighting at every nook and cranny any Trump policy. And also they have institutionalized certain rules and regulations that will keep Trump from reforming the
federal bureaucracy protecting all those individuals. Let the lawsuits begin, and also let the riots begin. Same as what happened in twenty sixteen. Remember Madonna, I want to blow up the White House. Before Trump had been in office twenty four hours. She wanted to blow up the White House in thousands, marching and protesting all around the Capitol and all around the White House, setting fire to US stores, and defacing monuments. By the way, none of
those are crimes. By the way, they're not reported, they don't count. That's where we are. Will you willingly accept Joe Biden for another four years knowing that Kamala Harris is going to be the president within six months? Is that good with you? Or on the other side of the coin, if Trump is reelected, which I think he will be, well, Democrats, liberals, progressives, the morning Joe crowd say, you know what, He's the president. Let's give Trump a year or two to No, it'll
be total chaos either way. I'll take Trump's chaos any day over Kamala Harris's chaos. Well, let's continue. Coming up next is Michael Letz, who spent his year in law enforcement about the crime issue in America and so much more twelve fifty six, Home of Your Reds. Keep fighting, be strong, be brave, give your best, much like Rory McElroy did yesterday. Ash d Chambeau won the US Open all on news Radio seven hundred WLW The
Crime rom Side. It is seven for that thing there is Plaioma. Bill Rives play No Pirates today at five boy on seven hundred W l JEW and seven hundred w l w's live stream of though We iheartradiot Our, iHeartRadio music Festivals by Capital War coming back to Las Vegas, steps ever Bill cunning in the Great American and watching the Today Show this morning, I found out that crime is way down in the country, and that there's a thirty percent reduction
in robberies, forty percent reduction and murders and shootings, that rapes are way off the charts, and there's no looting of department stores or other specialty shops happening anywhere. And that's the dye tribe of the mainstream media. And and some will and tended individuals with being rather my opic, believe what they're told by the FBI crime statistics. And I often make the point garbage in garbage out. And that is if the information comes in or doesn't come in,
and then the garbage comes out the other side. Can you rely upon it. Someone that's been in law enforcement for more than three decades is Michael Letts. He's been a police officer for a very long time in law enforcement. Also, he's a president CEO of invest USA, which is a group that provides bulletproof vest to police officers. I don't think those are needed anymore because crime is way down, so the cops don't need that. But Michael lets
once again, welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Before we get onto your column which is on Newsmax about advocating the pardoning or the commutation of sentence of Hunter Biden. Before that happens, I'm watching especially Morning Joe and otherwise telling me the crime is way down that Atlanta and Washington, Cincinnati and Chicago. That suddenly the FBI stats show and you know, garbage in, garbyge out.
But what is your experience, Well, did the crime here? We are in the middle of toward the end of June of twenty twenty four, in the first quarter, crime is way down all over the country, and the Biden's going to run on that. Has that been your experience? No, that's a bunch of hog wash, Bill, And let's talk about there are three key factors that if you don't know be in the workings, you would be looking at that and say, wow, boy, where have I
been? You know, I must not be in the right position because this is this is some fantastic news. Let's talk about how it's reported and where it comes from, and then you'll begin to understand why it's a bunch of hogwash. First of all, it is a compulation by the FBI. Now, unfortunately it pains me they have to say this, But the FBI ain't what she used to be. It is a highly weaponized, little sized branch and arm of the government. Now it is at the bidding of Joe Biden.
And of course Joe Biden understands that prime is the key issue of the American people, of the economy, just as you know, there's a tight second. But he goes back and forth. But people want to be safe, and they're not, and it's worse than it's ever been. So understand, the FBI has a directive from the White House, make this go away, make this look good. So how do they do it. Well, first of all, you understand that they're looking at rose colar glasses. You
can't trust what they say. Second of all, here's how they work. They send out a volunteer question here to every agency in America, tell me your stats, okay, and when they get it back, they compile it and then they decide, oh, it's down for the entire country because it's down here or down near that kind of thing. Well, let's take a look at what happened this year. Because of their poor reputation. Okay,
they had the lowest participation in history. Most of the agies didn't return it, period, so they've got very limited data from key select areas that they're reporting. Second of all, on the data that they are reporting, let's just take San Francisco, okay, La, I can take New York. You pop me in the question, Bill, and I'm glad to give you the answers those areas. Remember, they have a change in the definition of crime now, armed robbery, you see, anything under thousand dollars is not
considered a crime. Violent crime has to be defined in such a way that it's not just be killing you. Now it's a particular ammunition or a particularly good in a particular way is reported. Perhaps if it's not been solved yet, it's not reported. So you see, they have so many outs as to how mill areas that are reporting even report the crime, that sure they can manipulate the numbers and make it look like, g I don't think we
have any crime in our country. There's not at all. And Michael Latz I saw a video of a friend of mine who went out to San Francisco for American Bar Association, meaning which I used to attend, and I spent time. I'm out there with Melvin bell I walking around Fisherman's Wharf, absolutely gorgeous, about twenty years beautiful. All the stores in downtown San Francisco are shut down because of looting and because no one has prosecuted under one thousand dollars.
In Los Angeles, block after block after block have no stores whatsoever. And there's homeless tents everywhere. Every day that happens is a crime with syringes and needles outside grade schools. And so I'm looking at this thing, and how can crime be down when about thirty percent of police agencies do not report crime to the FBI. And Michael letz, we're talking about the top of the FBI, not the rank and file in each city doing their job.
We're talking about the political appointments of the FBI. And so for those well intended but misled individuals that run commercials saying crime is down. What happened in the riots of twenty twenty when there were millions and millions of crimes committed every day, every hour, all across the country. I can recall this one CNN reporter standing in front of a burning city saying, most peaceful, and the police didn't arrest anybody. Nobody got arrested. That's why crime is down.
You're exactly right, is twofold. They don't get arrested. And the second thing, just free your information. Your listeners would be aware of this when it is crime conducted by illegal limitments that is to get reported. Say that so crime by illegals don't get reported. No, they don't want those statistics ied a separate area that you dig, you can find, but they've got it buried before four or five floors up underneath you. Bill, You're
gonna have to really work to get that those facts in information. So you see how easy it is to men in the situation. And remember, like I said, I hate to say it, but this is just the way we're at today. The FBI is so politicized and weaponized and is doing the bidding of the Bud White House. They're doing what they're structing to do. Take this number, it said, lowest you've ever got received, massaged it a little bit so that things that are not supposed to report it illegal crime,
they don't report. You know, the robberies, Hey tell me if you can't come up with something positive, and they had to prove it before you do it out. Oh yeah, we found it based on this there is no crime in this country. And I say, that's what I want to hear. Put it out immediately, and then most reporters don't bother to check how it got to that point. That's their top aad life stories case you weren't aware, But there is no crime. So if you're experiencing crime,
you must have lived in a different country. Are illucinating one of the two. Well, police departments don't report it. Shopkeepers and others don't want to call the police anymore because it's worthless. Judges all over the country, including here in Cincinnati, put out on bond quickly, vicious murderers, rapists, and thieves of every description. It fits a political purpose. And lastly,
it's being run upon by the misinformed. And I also would add this before we get onto the reason you're with me today is that it appears that if you simply watch PBS, NBC, CBSABC, and read big city newspapers, you believe things in this country are pretty good. In fact, you believe there's not much of a problem on the southern border, that inflation is
not a difficulty at all, and that crime is down. So Gallup did a polling of Americans who only get their information from those sources, mainstream media, and they're voting for Biden fifty five to thirty five, and they believe things are really in great shape and that there's no inflation. Let's get onto
your column, which is very interesting. I haven't read this before, but I think it's certainly is accurate that you kind of want Joe Biden to pardon or commute the sentence which hasn't happened yet of Hunter Biden, which I've said before. Michael Letz, I don't know if you have adult sons, but if my adult son committed some crime and I could pardon him. I'd pardon him in a heartbeat. I think every father I've spoken to said, yeah,
I'd pardon my son unless he's a mass murderer or something. And so what is the essence sire column? That was that Newsmax? Well here was this and some of bobo said, you know, the president has come out. I won't pardon. Then they said, well, how about you commute. I don't want to comment. So then they assumed he was going to commute. Now he's come back. No, we won't commute. Here's the problem. Joe doesn't know where he's at. Okay, he can't remember whether
he left the breastroom. Half the time he forgets that he's got in the restroom. That's the one of the problems that we have on a national international scene. Why it's so embarrassing. So don't you can't believe a thing that he does, except for he does have a great passion for his son's misplaced passion. But he got it. So here's where you're at. Here he's going to come up with this situation with Hunter. Hunter cooked his own goose.
Okay, he wrote a book, he did talk shows, he did video shows and said, yeah, oh yeah, I was definitely on drugs. So there it wasn't it wasn't a matter who. It was a gray area that any jury could have found any way to give him a break. I mean, he he convicted himself after convicting himself. To understand, this is before a federal court in Delaware, and the only way you get to be a federal judge in the state is the senior senator has to recommend you
to the president. Well, remember, Joe was a senior senator for fifty years there in Delaware, so he knows every one of those judges. They all are indebted to him. So here's his offense. Now that we come to senising. You say, well, just go ahead. The improbation problem with that is Joe led the fight when he was in the Senate to first of all, create this registry system for the Feds and then create the questions
he said, why was it, Why did they do that? Well back here in decades ago, because we're fighting crime, We're going to get these guns off the street. The truth is and wants the latter part what they said, it's all about gun control, and so they wanted to make it so difficult and so scary for you to buy a gun. You got to go through all this paperwork. You would just say, I don't think what
I'll pass. And the second thing they did is when they created the registry, they didn't want this to be like norm Well, you know, if you lie before Congress, perjury before Congress, you maybe get six months. Oh no, on a federal the gun issue, you give the wrong information, it's a minimum of five years up to twenty five. So they put these huge penalties in there, and they've been forced him over the years.
There hasn't been any cases where they haven't gotten years were the prison for people that have been charged with this now is coming to bite him in the back. They're suddenly happening him to hunter. So a judge would be making an exceptionally privileged motion to only grant him probation and he would get nailed for that. You're getting preferential treatment. So what is his other option? He has a couple of things. First of all, let it get sentenced and then
commuting. He won't pardon him, because you remember pardon me, You didn't ever did. The crime community just simply says, okay, whatever punage, which you got the attorney's fees, spending your time, you know, in court. Whatever that was your punishment, nothing else happening. You're free to go from this point on. So he'll move to commute. Probably Joe doesn't want it to own a firearm anyway, so he'll probably just move to commute.
Or his other option is this, And this is where I think they're headed, is they can convince the federal judge, well, don't show as farsechirential treatment, but say you've got a busy schedule, move the sentencing till after the election. If he loses, then who cares, He's gonna commute him at a minimum. Okay, before he walks out the door. If he wins, you remember if he can't run again anyway, so who cares, he'll do the same thing. That's where they're headed with it is that's
what you're going to see. In the meantime, they're going to pound on Trump by trying to say he's a convicted felon even though he didn't do anything. So my point to Joe was, look, why don't you be truthful in your presidency for once? If you've went a commuting anyway, go ahead and commute him now, But go ahead and commute those who are innocent as well, the January six ers who were only there to uh trust Yeah, trust pressing at best. You can't be trust pressing when the law enforce and
the Capitol police are inviting you. In correct, going ahead and commute those if if you're a few in that situation where they beat up police, et cetera. That's different. That's different. But the massive door he commuted at the same time, it'll show America, Yeah, you're showing profergial treatment to your sowing, your watchelly. But at least you're balancing it. We're trying to do something right. So that was my recommendation to the president. We'll
see where it goes, you know, Michael. Let's last week I had on Tim Hale, who was at January sixth, uh, convicted criminal that spent about eighteen months in solitary confinement in the bottom of a DC jail. He finally went to trial, was convicted and spent three years. He got time for credit serve, et cetera. And all he did was walk in.
He was he was the door was opened by Capitol police. He never entered the chambers of the House or the Senate, he walked around, took pictures, so this is unbelievable, walked out and that was it, and they came after him with hooks and claws. And it was so almost obscene that on the day Hunter was convicted, about two weeks ago, Joe Biden bragged about making guns more difficult to buy at some anti gun event. And there's his son having served this, having been convicted, which I thought was
a shock that that jury convicted him in Wilmington, Delaware. Nonetheless, I have some other I have about two minutes remaining Michael Lettz, and that is at the debate on the twenty seventh, if Donald Trump would say, look, when I become the president, I'm going to pardon you, Joe Biden. I'm going to pardon all the individuals that committed crimes against me, and let's start fresh, and let's worry about the American people. I'm gonna pardon
myself too. But I'm gonna pardon you Hillary Clinton, Bill Clinton, Barack Hussein, Obama, I'm gonna pardon Komy, the FBI, and the lover Stroke and Page. We're gonna pardon McCabe. I'm pardoning everybody. I'm going to clean the deck. Stop the madness. Let's worry about the country in the future. Wouldn't that be politically good for Donald Trump? I think it'd be great. Yeah, get it over. Let's stop this. You could balance that bill by saying this. This would make the other side happy on
time of the conservative side. I'm going to pardon, but I've got to tell people what I pardon for. So all the evidence is going to come out. Okay, they're going to know you're not suspect, did you could he? Could you stolen? Boss? They're going to know every single detail. That's the only way I can partner. And then then you know he got shapely and Ziegler, the of the I R s saying that we were stopped from investigating the the the Bidens because of uppers Echelon and the Department of
Justice said don't go there. And so the whole Biden family committed serious crimes, the bribes all over the country, with Hunter being the bag man, picking up cash all over the world in order to give money to the Bidens. And let's let's lay it all out and your hereby pardon. Well, Michael letch we got to go. What is your website? If any if Tony Ben or other's one make contributions, if they go to ww dot I in the eest USA invest usadator dot org, se charity. All the information

set you free once again. Michael Let's thank you very much, Thank you, God blessing, good boss America. Elly de la crue the howitzer he got a rocket made? Oh hello, Pietos, I'm broadcasting the seconds you know when I played for Gordon Vederino at Bernette Pontiac, I stole ninety five bases in one season. That was just before what was that funeral home you played for? Thomas funeral Home? Was that before or
after this? After Thomas? You're you're like in Double A baseball Burnett Pontiac. Okay, And I'm watching Stuart Fairchild yesterday. Boy, what you gotta do as a base runner? I was known as the Loup Brock of AA b C baseball. How many? How many sbs did you have? Ninety five in one season? With sixty games. I was been running around like that Bugs Bunny cartoon, Wham mahoma another set about me. I could turn off the light switch and be in bed before it was dark. That's how
quick I was. You talk about quick. I'm watching Stuart Fairchild at second base. Right, he's got a short lead. The ball's hit and he watches the ball for a split second, then takes off. If the guy catches it, just a third out anyway, right, two out? So what the heck? What you gotta do is take the lead. He took right and as the ball is thrown, begin a mild trot toward third and if there's contact, take off correct. Because he didn't do that. He
was out from here to there. And I would have liked what the Hall of Famer would have had a field day with that play. Mardi would have let him out because you've got he would have got the hat trick, bell House and fair Child, because you gotta go, you gotta go. He would have blamed, but start, it's got to get an extra ten feet exact second base. He didn't even make it. No, And I'm thinking, come on man. I take him out there after the game and said,
Stuart, stay with me on this. You take a fifteen foot lead right then as the ball's thrown, start a mild true, make the third, you make your move towards contact. What are you doing off? And right? Yeah, right, you're going because he catches it as a third out anyway, so what's a difference. He kind of lazy at second. Then the ball was hit, he looked at well, where's the ball going? The hell with it? Stuart ron like the wind to be free again,
Christopher Cross style. That's the problem. Now. How about Dela Cruz that was a snoop dog on Brewers TV. The Snoop Dog had a concert in Milwaukee. Dam can you play Snoop Doggie Dog? Who is uh? I will say he wants to run for president and move on into the White House. Why not? It wouldn't be the first time you pushed the Black family out of their home. They got to start beating up on a few and approaching, in fact next to end. And next week is going to be the halfway point of the season. Also going to be the Trump debate on June twenty seventh. A couple issues before I turned to the American people, I'm getting a report out of the Washington Post that
Joe Biden's executive staff is extremely irritated with Barack Hussein Obama. I read the story and I'm saying what happened, and you may have seen it. This will not be well played in the mainstream media because it doesn't fit their bias. But there was a big fundraiser in Los Angeles that pulled in about twenty eight million dollars. All the elite were there and among them was Barack Hussein Obama, Jimmy Kimmel, and George Clooney at all And there was a scene
at the end where Biden is standing there. They're playing the music the events completed on his right as Jimmy Kimball on his left is Barack Obama, and they're applauding, and Joe is staring aimlessly into space, giving us that Mitch McConnell moment, and went on and on, and at some point this is on the video, that Obama reaches the hand, the left hand of the President, grabs it and leads him off stage, and the President kind of
mumbles, stumbles and fumbles off stage as Obama's got his shoulder around him to make sure he didn't fall down. That's the President and right now the Biden staff and Washington, which are largely Obama hangovers, are very unhappy. It was another mister Magoo incident in which the president had a rough outing similar to the G seven summit, and he skipped the opening dinner because he was tired
with the flight. He then goes through a few media events in which he stumbles, mumbles, and fumbles, and just wanders off during a photo shoot. And then he left the last dinner, the wrap up of the seven of them, most of the seven are clowns, and he left early in order to fly to Los Angeles to do the fundraiser. One can only imagine if Trump was in office and he skips the opening dinner and he skips the closing dinner and he stumbles and fumbles and mumbles and wonders around with the media
would have done with that? It would have been again, shut it down, we have to replay this, etc. And Bret Yume on Fox News tweeted this out. And Brent Yume is a I think as a pretty good prognosticator. He's been in the media about fifty years. He said, quote, Biden is senile and decrepit, but make sure Obama needed to lead him away. Biden had been applauding moments earlier, and then stood there absorbing the applause for a bit when Obama reached out, grabbed his wrist and said follow
me, and he goes. Honestly, I bet the White House staff is annoyed with Obama. I doubt it, because Obama is pulling all the strings anyway. And of course Mike mcconnough may refute this, but Joe Biden is the big guy, and Joe Biden is senile, and Joe Biden could not be a greater at Walmart, but he's the president now. Secondly, has anyone asked the Palestinians what they would like? We hear the West and especially
the staff around Joe Biden talk about a two state solution. They talk about how Hamas is not really in charge of Palestinians, that it's Mumar, a boss that tends to be the guy in charge. So the media has this dietribe I shared with you a few nights ago, a few days ago, the comments of the Hamas leader named Sinwar, who planned the October seventh massacre.
And Sinwar is a fanatical supporter of Israeli civilian casualties, and he would kill every Jew in the world if he could, if he had the military power to do so. Israel would not exist and America we would not exist. First the Jews, then Americans. You know, kill the Jews, kill the Americans. Debt to Israel and debt to America. So it goes without saying. This guy is a mass murderer. And he's the leader of
AMAS, which was freely picked by the Gosins as their representative. So I'm looking at a report out of a publication called Lamunde, which is in Paris, France, and they it took the time to actually go into the West Bank, which is completely Palestinian, at least identifying as Palestinians, and they took the time to ask them, what do you think about what's going on, what do you think about October seventh, and what do you think about
Hamas and what do you think about a two state solution? And these are the so called Palestinians living in the West Bank, which to those who go to college is the west bank of the Jordan River, which are completely Palestinian air Muslim. I've been there, and by the way, when I was there in May of last year, extremely peaceful, had lunch there, had dinner there, walked around, felt as safe as in my mother's arms.
No problem. I'm not so sure that's the case today. So they took the time and the time frame of this poll was May the twentieth to June the first, so it's somewhat current. And they asked the Palestinians living in the West Bank, whose brothers and sisters live in Gaza, do you support a two state solution which is Palestinian, which would be the Gaza strip living in peace with Israel. So they were asked, do you support a two
state solution? Sixty percent of those living in the West Bank oppose a two states sol. They didn't want a two state solution. Does that shock you? They don't want that. So we hear from Biden administration constantly, Congressional democrats and leftists, the college crowd that are now in charge of many instrumentalities of government. By the way, they're according to Mike McConnell, there is no deep state. But nonetheless the left wing activists say we need a two
state solution. So they asked the Palestinians living in the West Bank and those still residing in Gaza, do you want a two state solution? By overwhelming majority sixty percent say we don't want a two state solution. Instead, the majority of Palestinians continue to support Hamas and approve of the October seventh massacre.
Now, you would think a normal person would look at the October seventh massacre of fourteen hundred Israelis and the butchery that was demonstrated, you might oppose that that's not the case the people for whom Democrats and the leftists, we would rather see Israel destroyed than have a two state solution or peace. A new poll goes on to say that civilians in Gaza and the West Bank or housing
the four Israeli hostages rescued earlier in June. The poll includes residents of the West Bank, where Fada not Hamas, is in control, and a question was asked, do you support the Palestinian authority which is somewhat not as extreme
as Fatah or Hamas and makmood A Bass has ten percent support? I said ten percent, and that's the group getting all the money, So all the money that we send to the Palestinians, so called Palestinians, those living in the West Bank and in Gaza goes to enrich the leadership, and none of it reaches those we intend. Goes on to say, seventy five percent of Gazans and the West Bank residents are satisfied with hamas actions on October the seventh.
Oh, no, sit back and listen. October seventh, a massive raid by twenty five hundred terrorists over the top of the border fence, killing about thirteen to fourteen hundred Israelis So all civilians unarmed and the worst way possible, massive rapes, cutting babies out of stomachs, et cetera. And seventy five percent say we support that, and goes on to say that how about
this question. The survey of Gaza and West Bank residents found that just nine percent nine percent believe Hamas committed war crimes on October the seventh, nine percent. Eighty two percent think that a two state. Think the statehood, et cetera, must involve the destruction of Israel. So the two state solution catered by almost all Democrats and leftist academics in the media, that's opposed by those
living there. Sixty five percent of those living in Gaza in the West Bank oppose a Tuesday solution, sixty three percent support armed Intafada, which is the massacre of Jews and Westerners and the elimination of Israel. And as I said, sixty seven percent support Hamas and they were correct to launch the attack on October the seventh, that massacured more Jews in one day than any event since
the Holocaust. Well, put that in your pipe and smoke it. So for those who say that Sinwar the leader of AMAS, he's extremely popular, gets more popular every day. That civilian families are paid money to incarcerate the Jewish hostages, about ten one of which are Americans. They're paid lots of
money to brutalize the hostages. In fact, when the reporting was done of those who were were captured or shall we say, returned to Israel because of IDF, the four that returned about a week ago, they talked about brutalization at the hands of those living they're captors. It wasn't a mass It was a Palestinian family, so to speak, who beat the crap out of them. And the woman seemed to imply that she was repeatedly raped. But two
thirds or more support AMAS. Ninety one percent believe the Jews are entitled to what happened to them. They do not want a two state solution. They do not want peace. What they want is the obliteration and the death of ten million Jews living in Israel. That's what they want. And I would assume that if one would take a poll in Iran about what Iran wants, that ninety one percent might be ninety nine percent. Kill Jews wherever you can
find them. Next up, kill Americans everywhere. And that's the regime to which we give billions of dollars in assistance to Iran, and when we send aid to so called Palestinians living in Gaza, that is always taken by the leadership of Hamas for their own particular purposes, without any reference to Jews, who they consider to be similar to mice, rodents or cockroaches. And that's the party we're telling Benjamin Netanyahu, you must make peace with when they want
to kill you. So peace simply means build up again and attack Israel again and again and again. About one point three million have been displaced from Rafa to other areas of Gaza. It is it is a disaster, which is what's intended by Hamas. Hamas wants to kill Jews, and by killing their own people at the hands of the Israelis, they get benefits around the world.
So Israel tries its damnedness not to kill civilians and wants to feed those living in Rafa, and the leadership of Rafa and Gaza wants to kill every Jew and also their own people, which benefits the costs according to the leader of a mass, are we messed up or what? Let's continue? I don't know how we work ourselves out of this situation, do you when those who are dealing with or like the Nazis in Germany who wanted to kill Jews
and kill Americans and kill the German people in the process. And then here we are eighty years later and there's this group large groups in Iran, Jordan, Lebanon, Hesbelah, a Moss including Egypt, although they're at Pe so to speak, that are better off without the Jews existing in They're part of the world and they want peace and the two state solution is not desired by
the Palestinians. And then they have the useful idiots in college campuses. I guess it'll start again in August when school return resumes are going to support Hamas and all that they do from the river to the sea. Palestine must be free, which means kill Jews wherever they might be located. So it's a time for choosing. And one party says two state solution. The other party says, arm Israel and make sure they can defend themselves against these brutal mass
murderers. The civilian population completely supports a moss and does not want a two state solution. Let's continue two twenty six Home you Reds News Radio seven hundred, wughtw Can you believe it's summer already? Summer break is here. You're scheduling all your activities now, don't forget to schedule you're in It's two damn hot fu. I ain't going to be just walking around here. Oh hello, quiet, and I'm scos, I'm broadcasting. I did hear serious weekend?
He was in the booth at Milwaukee right Brewers. Why not get him on? Sak wouldn't put him on TV, John wouldn't put him on. I'd put him on. Well, you have to have the dump button ready to go. But nonetheless, I don't know. One of those things. I don't know. I don't think no matter what you feel about Snoop, if he's in the booth, you gotta get on air and you got to get that dump button. Does that dump button work? Do we know? Say something? No, let me but it doesn't work. But big big
news out of saying actually had the seven on seven? What happened if any games? Let's get seven on seven at seven? Yes? Uh no, I had so I don't maybe you know. I had a started and ran a seven on seven football league, your Rocky Boyman Football Academy seven on seven league St. Deer Park. They did not form a team and entered the league. I'm meant to talk about that later, but anyway, so we had the whole whole eight weeks of the league and then on Sunday was our
tournament. Went great. We had dj e train there. He's the biggest DJ in town. He's the best, does all the Bengals and red stuff you see basketball. You don't know who he train is. He had had Ron Lindsay who runs Lindsay's Shaved Ice, has some great shaved ice there. We have a bunch of games getting played now Zach Taylor's team. So we had ten U, twelve, U fourteen, Uh Congrats to the Hoosiers seven they won the fourteen Vision. Congrats to the Cee Stars. What about division?
What about Zach think they? I think they lost by one point. To see who eventually won it playing or not? No, Nora was his brother, but they there, No he was not. It's not signed. And then the great then the Green Machine won the ten arson. Yes that's our that's our team. But it was a great a great day, a lot of great football. He was hot. It was hotter than like seven to ten. We got a ten U division twelve and fourteen years. If identify as a ten year old, can I play? If I s I'm
ten, you went from Belmont, Pontiac or whatever your days Burnette. I heard that, but anyway to sign up and played it. He stole ninety five bases, ninety five bases one summer. And I tell you, by Stewart, forty games you play sixty two. They call me Lou Brock. I was Maury Wills. I think he's Ricky Henderson one because I was a base. Let me tell you by Stuart Fairchild. Yes you're on second base.
You have to assume it's two down, two down, rundown and it's only a single as you're If it's an out on contact, you're at whatever that everybody knows. If it's two hours on, you're flying on contact. If it's in the gap, you know you're gonna score it, but you gotta be ready. So Gordon Veterino, A Burnett Pontiac, the Success of the Thomas Funeral Home, said, when you're on second base, and that's what you're you take a shorter lead, but then as the ball's being thrown
it starts. You start trotting almost the third and then stop right there if it's caught, and then you run back. But Stuart fairshawd took about a twelve foot lead. The ball was hit, and he looked and then he ran. How do you do that as a major leaguer? I would have scored from second right now. I could have scored right now. I would have. If you were playing situational baseball, you're twenty, you're about fifteen feet off second. You start trotting, as the ball is thrown, you
hear contact, you're gone, and you score. How fast were you? If I didn't you said earlier? You said you you you ran faster with when you turned the light off before the light. When I was fourteen years old and I tried this all the time. You know, light's on in the bedroom, I would hit the switch and be in bed before it's dark. If you can do that, you know how pretty good? You know how quick that is? Is Ellie? That fast? No, I think
in my prime I know I could have beaten him. Nonetheless, I say this, you got to take eight the game, and then the catcher would have threw the ball to third. The guy from first would have kept on running. He would have threw it and left field. The Reds would have won. That's the way I picture it. If I can get Gordon Vettererino here around, yes, would you listen to him? Yes? He coached the Xavier, won a bunch of titles still around. Yes, how old
is he? Are you implying that I'm what you're saying. I'm just saying. I think if I get him in here, get him in here, get me there speaking the team, Well, I get to get him to talk to the pebbles. Burnett Pontiac. It wasn't Bramble. It was Burnett. In fact, it's right there at Prime and Wine. That's it was right here. Burnett Pontiac. You remember, on this hallow ground right now, the foundation was laid for modern baseball. According to later on, it
was Sweeney Nissan or something. Okay, might you recall that? Now I'm born, and right now it's Prime and Wine. People are getting drunk. By the way, it's a good restaurant too. I hate three all the time. You mean this place behind us. I'm not Prime and Wine fifty years ago. I'm just thinking about the nineteen forties and fifties and sixties when things are happening. Right now, it's Cooper's Hawk, and I'm a member. Really I belong go in there and drink wine. I don't drink wine.
I don't drink wine. I don't drink wine. Why you remember? Because you get special stuff like you get reservations. They sit him my table number thirty five. Fall o, thank you. I get the chocolate off your normal table. I like them right now. I like Cooper's Hawk, I do. But that's where for that Pontiac. Nice Sweeny Nissan. You still got your jersey. I don't have one. If I get Gordon Veterino in here, will you will you make sure you're here to see him?
I will I'll be here every day, say go ahead, will leave. My dues, Red's open up a three game series tonight. Willie up against it in the Steel City against those pirates. Carson Spiers goes up against a former number one

Five forty Sports Talk Are no carriers inside Pitch Kelsey Chevrolet Extra Ding show after the game, Who's Hotter Than the Hinges of Hell. Bengals are gonna open up training camp Wednesday, July twenty fourth. First five practices will be open, will be open to season ticket and
suite holders. Camp opens fully to the public July twenty ninth, and the Bengals are gonna be part of an all new version of In Season Hard Knocks, which will feature the entire AFC North, premiering December third on a TV near you listen to me thing? How about that? Oh, it's a long ass season. This is a grind and you can't give up the ball. You can't misstackles, you can't step out of bounce, you can't have
penalties, you can't field punts on the one yard line. Some of you wonder why you don't play and start because you won't tackle on an interception because you don't know who to block. So you better make up your mind what you're gonna do. There's Obama leading Biden football team. Way to fix it, rag down inside and beat him. Bro be clear, that was Martin Lewis. That wasn't Poindexter two thousand and nine. That was Marvin lighting him
up. I guess we were on some sort of knocks hard Knock fifteen years they were on there, and now now the hard Knocks like during the season, out of the season, Well, they're going to feature the AFC North teams on they play each other. What about Burrow? To hear me, Raye, what about Burrow? What about Joe Burrow's going to be all right? What about Olivia Dunn? What's from what I from what I hear and people I talk to, I think that to believe that Joe Burrow is going
to participate in every practice, training camp is not going to happen. So just prepare your mind for that's fine. Forget about every time he every time he has a day off, this town goes cuckoo, TVs go nuts. Well, what's the matter with you? What's about it? Two and a half months in the first game, that's all that matters, Right, they got a good schedule to go, be fine, don't worry about it. I need to wink and like he's got Now, look, he's got to
get some work and just take off until the first game. Is work, right, I guess some work in pace it back a little bit. Make sure we're not pushing things too hard. What about the preseason. Do you play him a little bit in the preseason last year? It comes a disasterno. I would I would play. I would play you know, five ten plays in the preseason's absolutely and can he take a snap? That's in other
words, it's risk miss half the season. People will argue with me, and I'm not saying I'm right, but I think a little bit of preseason play in a safe way where he's not gonna get it is fine, you know what, And the what they should do in the preseason now, I was just they should maybe like just not allow hit a hit on the quarterback in the preseason. That way. Look, the you know, the the NFL, the league, the networks get the benefit of people wanting to watch
because hey, the quarterback may play. It may tune into this a little bit, but then you don't get hurt. What about Kaitlyn Clark getting hurt. I saw the play got wallowed by another player. I watched it again. I watched it again. I have never watched a w NBA game in my life, but during the Reds game and also the US Open, I go back and forth to women's basketball because of her and an Angel Reese also known as Lucifer Reese takes her out, bops her in the head. Now,
I had no problem with the foul. I if you ask people that don't watch the NBA now, they say, oh, it's become too soft. Give me the days of Bill Lambier and Dennis Rodman and all these hard fouls. So we're getting that that's fine. But at least it happened during the course of a basketball play. When she got hit by a Kennedy Clark that was there wasn't even basketball game played. She just ran up and fine, Hinter and Decker. Now, how come nobody on the Indiana Fever none
of her teammates came to her defense. Thank you the first time, and then the second they really hate her too like everyone else did. Let me ask you this when when when Tiger Woods. Okay, we are obviously that was a big deal him kind of him coming in and all that. I'm saying when he came on the scene in the nineties nineties, So did the players outright hate him the way the I don't think they did. Either did but they said who is this kid? And no, but that's understandable.
But didn't they also embrace a fact Oh my god, all these eyeballs are on golf. It was just wonderful. Yeah, we ain't gonna let this guy just roll in and take our jobs and take all. But we're gonna enjoy. These women don't don't want that. They will not be happy until no one watches that league any now they win. She belongs in the Olympic team simply because she can hit the three. She's the best three point shooter outside of Steph Curry. But they need her on the team, but they
keep diminishing her. They need her on the team because guess what people will watch. He's gonna watch it win. No, I don't know. I think it's racism. What do you say? I think it's racism. I think there's sexual orientation issues that some of the women have. She likes men, she wants to have baby in a family. So are you are you implicating, Willie that black women are discriminating against her a white woman? Now what happens when that's the other way around? All hell breaks? Looks the
Department of Justice. But isn't that exactly what's happened a white girl from Iowa playing in that league? Well, how come all you are appreciating equality and this and that, and you know it. Now it goes one way, But isn't it funny how things come back in. It's like the mirror always gets flipped around and then you got to she succeeds, but emotionally she's getting if she's not on the team. They stopped the league for a month, they stop playing for a month, and if she's not on there, I
can't believe NBC I'd have a sand in this. I mean, they got to be screaming that just to have her there. She doesn't play. I mean, but they're caught because all the people that that that run the league and have been past players in that league can't stand her. And they're the spokes pre people for that league, and and they won't advocate for they won't step up and say, listen, this garbage has got to stop. I mean, we got to, you know, raise the profile of this star
here. Racism is a two way street, and what needs to happen in an enforcer I heard Chuck Barkley said that the fever needs an unforced goon like segment. Dennison identifying as a woman go out there and kick a little ass, seg would you defend her? That would be the best Indiana Fever hired a biological male who identifies this fight. Maybe it would be like, who's a who's an NBA player that's retired? But I don't know, Charles Barkley.
Charles Barkley put shack there you go. Yeah, he'll stir it up. You can become and put a sports pro on and oh a little lipstick and let's go become female. By saying so I could be a left handed to golf, no one would know what to do. They would, the women in the league, the networks, no one would know what to do. They would. They wouldn't know what's the side of right there? And the racism is a two way street on the quality for everyone. Let's go,
let's go segment. Please continue, please, That's all I got, no kidding, now, what's We're getting some UDF mults tomorrow. That's all I know. Plus, someone has sent me Mark Sheer the phone number of Gordon Veterino. Nice, we're going to White House. I'm gonna invite him in, get him in, get him in, and him in. I think the McEwans with Mark Sheer talk about stealing bases how many What is the
distance between home played and second base and a direct line? Everyone knows when you played for Veteran twenty eight feet close, but when you play for Veterino you know all this stuff. One hundred and twenty seven feet three and three eight inches segment even knows that when you played for Gordon Veteran you knew everything. But basically leads off the base is the key to scoring. What's the distance between the middle of the field and the hash mark in high school football,
the middle of the field in the hash mark eleven yards? About nine yards. That's pretty couch outside of the hash from how wide is the field to fifty three and one third yards? You know that segment, yep, segment is that it in sport and from the from the hash mark to the top of the numbers is about nine yards to The kids need to know this because when you play the game, you play the game. They win and like you did, I played the game to win. And let's a fair
child should have scored. Dela Cruz would have scored right, Yes, he'd been in the dugout before the ball got to own plate. Correct. He needs to play for he was on that one play he scored from second to he unbelieved hady back. Fairchild's got to learn how to run. Basis Gordon Veterina could teach him right now segment Burnette Pontiac lives forever now only in my
memory. It's like the Titanic segment, forever in your memory, Willie and honor of National root Beer Day. Yeah, we leave you with the immortal words of the And this is the anniversary I think of OJ getting arrested and the White Bronco. By the way, Mike McConnell said he was innocent.
