Bill cunning In The Great American Reds Baseball kicks off about six oh five tonight the Reds Room, Philly. We hope because the rain is predicted everywhere but here later today it is alleged we're going to have a lot of storms and hail and heavy winds and heavy rain and all kinds of stuff going on. We'll continue to monitor that. Plus the segment in about twenty minutes, we'll

have the latest of the Reds comeback yesterday. But until then, joining you and I as Congressman Warren Davidson of Butler County and parts north of that and Warren Davidson, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And O Tony and I love to have you. Saw you and hooked up with you a little bit on Red's opening day and want to talk about the issues. Number one.

This morning on the lawn of the White House, I watched an interview with Al Roker of NBC News this morning on The Today Show in which he interviewed Joe Biden and Joe bo I'm sorry, doctor Joe Biden to you about the lack of civility in Washington and that we want to have an Easter egg, it's Easter about a transgender bunny. And also the Easter eggs put together

by all these children cannot have religious themes. According to doctor Joe Biden and I reference a few years ago when Barack Hussein Obama in twenty oh eight. I think you were still a successful businessman at that point, so many years ago that Biden slash Obama said we want to transform America. That where America is today, this is twenty oh eight, twenty nine, is not where it needs to be. Is the transgender Easter bunny part of that transformation.

That's the one thing that connects at all, Willy, is they want to fundamentally remake America and they're very committed to it. And you go back to whose day. This isn't historically the Democratic Party. They took the people from the far left took the Democratic Party over, and they're setting the agenda. Now everyone in the Democratic parties seems to vote that way. That's what you're voting for. And these are the people that said in the sixties, we

went on long march through the institutions. They knew they had to take over everything, and dag on, haven't they They took over the media. They took over music, they took over the news, they took over you know, print media, they took over sports. They're working on taking over the military. I mean, it is a mess in terms of what they're doing. And that is it. They say, oh, we're the ones waging the culture war. Tell me something that got more conservative in that time frame.

Nothing, It all went one direction. And when you talk about transforming America, how successful have they been, I'd say very successful. Because you can't have an Easter service that's religious. In fact, you can't. It used to be put Christ back in Christmas. Hell right now you can't put Christ back in Easter because of Easter Bunny. And I'm reading this missive from doctor Joe Biden who said that the Easter eggs cannot have a religion theme on

Eastern But you have the transgender bunny bouncing around the White House? Can you would? Is this possible? Is this what they meant decades ago? We got to transform America. We have to change it. And Obama got elected twice with more than fifty percent of the vote, and Biden allegedly got elected

in twenty twenty. Haven't they largely succeeded? They are very committed. And here's why they're getting away with it will is they passed spending bills like the giant one that we spent last week one point nine trillion dollar deficit, and they passed it not with Thankfully, a majority of Republicans said, no, this is a bad idea speaker, don't do that. What he did anyway, put it on the floor, and so enough Republicans go along with the Democrats and they say, oh, you know, we just have to work

together to fund this. That's what they want to work together to. They don't want to fund securing our country, and they don't want to fund a border security. They don't want to fund defund these horrible policies. So this is why I always say, like Republican politics is too much like Nascar. Everybody gets in the race and they just start turning left. And we need people that simply get in the race and do what they said they would do

if we're going to save our country. Warren Davidson. One thing I deal with regularly is that the Democrats vote as a herd, kind of like a pack of dogs led by someone, whether it's a King Jeffreys or Biden or Kamala, Harris or Schumer. They all run the same direction, and Republicans are like cats. I try to herd a whole bunch of cats, You got no chance. How come one political party, whether it's the center to the House, one hundred percent of the time the leader says go this direction,

everyone falls in line, but with Republicans don't fall in line. Can you've been there now seven or eight years. You came as a military man West Point, Notre Dame, and you came a business leader worth millions of dollars, build a business, and you decided to go into public service. How come the Democrats in mass always vote one hundred percent and the Republicans go different directions on a regular basis? Why is that? Yeah, that's a

fair question. And part of it is Democrats campaigned on this. They campaigned on changing Biden on the border policy. Biden said, I'm gonna undo all the Trump's border policies. We said that's going to be a disaster, and well it's been a disaster. He said, we're gonna spend even more money. They wanted five trillion for Bill beck Better, they only got a trillion. Can you imagine how bad inflation would be. We said it's gonna cause

massive inflation. Oh no, it's not. They said they wanted the Green New Deal. They passed an infrastructure bill and an inflation Reduction Act. Nice branding, but all it really does is fun the Green New Deal. They know how to message to the public and say one thing, but behind the doors, they know they're delivering on the promises they made, and their base knows they're delivering on the promises they made. Unfortunately, our party wuies into

this whole thing. Oh you know, we should really be nice and go along with this and compromise. And look, I'm for compromise. Reagan said, it's fine. If you get eighty percent of what you want, you should be able to work together. Heck, we don't even get fifty one percent. We're the smucks that are getting twenty percent and pretending we've got a good deal. Now that's the other side of Reagan's equation. You're not supposed

to do the deal with the twenty percent people and the infrastructure bills. Like the perfect example, only about a third of it was infrastructure, and so we say, oh, well, you know, we got to do that, and a lot of our guys go along with it, and it takes all the Democrats and just a handful of Republicans that go along, and they say, oh, so bipartisan, we work so well together to implement the Democrats' agenda. And that's where they've got the oh you know, Republicans walked

away from the Democrat bipartisan border security bill. No, it's a way to fund more illegal immigration faster, in a way to guarantee that even when Donald Trump's president, they're supposed to let five thousand people in a day before they do anything to secure their board. And that's why you not lead disaster Warren Davids. Let's stay on that point. You voted against that because the media

picture this as a great bipartisan deal. You had Republicans in the Senate, A few went along with it, every Democratic course went along with it. And the core of your disagreement, among others, was that five thousand illegals a day can come into the southern border, which is two million a year approximately, before the president may trigger a crackdown on the southern border. That would have tied Trump's hands assuming he got elected. Did the media ever accurately

describe the American people? The essence of that bill. Well you did, I mean some of our you know, local radio does a handful of conservative outlets, some podcasts with the mainstream you know, establishment media. No, the fake news as a lot of people would do it. They don't cover the honest story about what's behind it. They say, well, you know,

the bipartisan border security bill. But that's exactly how it's bipartisan, as you have these guys going along essentially giving over acting as accomplices to continue running the Democrats agenda. And that's where the level of frustrations growing inside our own party is. Look, we all know to say. Look, check every Republicans website. They'll virtually all campaign on we want a smaller, more accountable government. When voters go vote for Republicans, they think that they're electing people

that are committed to a smaller, more accountable government. And if we were electing those folks, you would think that we have one party that's for a smaller government and one party that's for a bigger government. And you know, of course we want to do a few different things with the government, but at least Republicans or United say we want it smaller, right, But you would think if that was the case, sometimes it would get smaller, but

it only grows. And it's because our guys go along and act as accomplices. So the Democrats, not just on the spending number, but on the policies, keep doing what they're doing to our country. Congressman Warren Davidson, I run a newspaper account out of California. There was a big news conference about a year or so ago. Mike DeWine was there many other people building this huge Intel chip factory in central Ohio, going to be five thousand jobs,

going to be a billion dollar investment. The state was going to make

a lot of money. And so I read the story that eventually made his way to the Wall Street Journal in which this DEI chip factory had to have so many Dei principles for subcontractors, contractors and employees that so many must be in certain categories Latina X. They might have to have so many gay employees, have to have, so many employees that have a high school education, so many employees that have to be black, so many that have to be

every shade under the rainbow. That it is slowing down Intel because they can't find disabled Puerto Ricans to work as some contractors, and they have to have that requirement before they can bid on the job. What do you know about that? Tell the American people why that factory has not started more than a year later. These folks are into all the bills. It's bankrupting in the country, not just financially, but morally. And it's the terms and conditions

that come with the strings attached to the money. It's coercive, and it reaches past our state government, reaches past our local government. Your local planning and zoning laws don't apply. You take the money, you have to do all these things. You take the money. You can't even run your company anymore. You run it this way or you don't run it. That's what they're doing with these policies. And they make it sound so good, DEI, Oh, you know, so good, we want to help everybody.

No, you're actually implementing Marxism. You're actually using these tools not as a staff to heal old wounds, but as a way to keep them raw and irritated and agitated. And then they have the nerve to go out and say, oh, you should be kind and civil about all this. You guys are actively destroying our country. And you wonder why people are upset about it, because the average guy knows what's happening, and they should be outraged about

it, they should demand a change. And you know that's what's at We have to actually follow through and do the things we've said we're going to do, and you know it's going to take bigger majorities. So you know, we've got to not just hold the House, We've got to grow the majorities in the House. We've got a fire shared round and take over the Senate.

And you know, we've got to take back this White House because Joe Biden isn't going to isn't going to just change his policies because we asked nicely. We're going to have to make a more of a demand than that where he doesn't have a choice. When this was announced over a year ago by Governor Mike DeWine, he said by the summer of twenty twenty four, which is about now, we're we're going to turn dirt. It's going to start.

And they had two other factories, two other processing plants, and that they wanted to have these chips made here because of what's happening in communists Red China. They make about ninety percent of the chips, and it was a great idea, but the t's and the seas, the terms and conditions require anyone bidding on these jobs have to meet certain DEI principles and if they're not

met, that means you can't bid. And so small contractors are out because they're saying, I don't want to submit myself to having these page after page of reporting requirements. If someone is disciplined or fired later on and we have to justify it. The terms and conditions are so obstreperous that one does not want to make a bid on these jobs because of the federal government and Joe

Biden. And that is why that's the hold up. And the more time goes by, the more likely it is none of it's going to happen at all because businesses and business owners simply want to conduct their business, have a little bit of a profit, pass something on, pay their taxes, do what's right. But when you have these DEI requirements all over the place, when it comes to a federal job and waiving all the local rules, Governor Mike DeWine, I know, as frustrated as can be, he's trying to

work around it. With parts of the federal bureaucracy. He's finding it damn near impossible to do. And in fact, in November, if we don't change administrations, is going to get worse, not going to get better. Now, lastly, Mike Johnson, there's a lot of reporting on this.

Some are considering to overturn the speaker to have Marjorie Taylor Green has already said yes, I'm gonna request, but there's like a she hasn't fathered the right paperwork or something, so it hadn't begun yet as we sit here this Monday afternoon, April the first, is it a fool a fool's day that are going to change the speaker again and go through weeks without a speaker because the

Republicans can't get their act together. Explain what's happening there. Yeah, So she filed this in a way that makes it privileged, so that when she goes on the floor in the future, now, once we come back in session, if she makes the motion, it will be privileged. And so within two days then you have to vote, and you know, just like when Kevin McCarthy was vacated, you have the vote, and if he can't have a majority, of the House, then he wouldn't be the speaker anymore.

So that would inherently involve at that point either Democrats covering forum or not voting somehow. You have to have a majority of the House to be the speaker. Democrats didn't cover for Kevin McCarthy and you had eight Republicans vacate the chair. I thought that was a bad idea. It really has delayed and disrupted our agenda massively. And so what Marjorie has said is I don't really want to do it that way. I don't want to call it up.

I'm just telling you we should be pretty clear at this point Mike Jenson isn't going to be speaker next Congress. We should start putting somebody in so we have a reason to campaign because we're not going to campaign on this terrible on the bus bill that just passed. We're not going to campaign on having the same lady be the chair of Appropriations as we go into appropriations again, we should change the lineup and we should give the people people to be inspired by

as we go into the election. So her logic is good. The risks are high, but you know, the risks are high, and if the idea that we can say such great sounding words that we're all going to demand that Joe Biden changes the border policy, that we're not going to fund a government that continues to fuel an invasion of our country. You know, That's what the speaker just did. That's what he put on the floor, and what he's talking about putting on the floor when we come back in session is

a bill that one point nine trillion dollar deficit apparently isn't enough. Let's do a supplemental bill that spends so fortune, giving the money to Ukraine and giving them money to you Israel, which we like and want to help, give the money to Taiwan, and still doesn't get around to securing our border. So if he does that, I do think that it'll probably become a privileged

resolution and we'll see. I think that would be unfortunate and avoidable. But I think her intent, as she said last week, is let's start having a conversation and do it behind closed doors instead of a disastrous way it was

done last time. No, and we began by talking about the transformation of America that Obama and Biden discussed about seventeen years ago, and when christ is not only out of Christmas but out of Easter, and that the transgender Easter Bunny represents Easter, and that eggs cannot have a religious theme put out by the White House. I'm sure. I think we're too far down the road to go back. But this country is worth fighting for, which is what

you do every day in the Congress. And once again, Warren Davidson, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show, and Congressman will do it again, and thank you very much. Yeah, always an honor goad bless you and your listeners. All right, today is Transgender Easter Bunny Day, and I hope you celebrate it properly. Not sure no answer to that one, which I get. Let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham News Radio,

seven hundred LW. Imagine waking up this time next week and being one hundred percent dead free, no credit cards, car loan or no
