Bill Cunningham, the Great America, welcome. This floor is peace afternoon. The tri did of course, this is March madness, believe it or not. The madness is kind of flat this year, of course, But nonetheless we have uc bearcop basketball starting about two thirty this afternoon, and of course later on hopefully a deep run by Xavier starting tomorrow. So many issues, so little time. We have a situation now that Cincinnati does not want to
become Pittsburgh. If you call Pittsburgh nine to one one, the only way they we'll respond is the police department in Pittsburgh is if it's an ongoing emergency. In other words, there's someone in your house. Other nine one one calls are simply put on hold. In Oakland, California, it appears to be in total collapse. Even the Taco bells can't remain open. They're shutting
restaurants Tither and fro I look a North College Hill. The firefighters seventy five percent of quit for reasons not quite clear yet, but it involves a lack of communication, lack of respect to whatever it might be. And here in River City, Chief Michael Washington was fired about a year ago today and lawsuits have been filed thither and fro and it appears that lawsuits going to cost the
city hundreds of thousands of dollars and more. And joining you and I now is the former long term vice mayor of the City of Cincinnati, the Honorable Chris Smitherman. And Chris, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And first of all, can you tell the American people do a little pick up here? What's Chris Smitherman doing after he left public service a year and a half or two years ago? What are you doing now in your life if anything? So you know, I'm a financial planner and I've owed my own
business, as you know, Willie, thirty plus years. So I'm continuing to do what I was doing when I was the vice mayor. And I think the most important job I'm doing is raising my daughter, who is a sophomore seat in high school, a phenomenal swimmer, and she's gonna she's, uh, you know, right now talking about getting a driver's license. So I'm oh, full time singles ahead. I'm getting very nervous about that. And uh, and then running my running, my running my private business.
That's a fincial planner let's talk about the city that you left a couple of years ago. Since then, Liz Keating was very competent. I think good council members spent a lot of money, didn't get a sniff. Uh, the city of Cincinnati used to be Republican Democrat and charter rights. Charter rights are basically dead. After Flynn was defeated that it was an upset to me when Kevin Flynn was not returned to office. So Kevin Flynn, et cetera. Those kinds of people, shall we say, are out and uh,
they're no longer there. How's this city changed? In your opinion the last two or three years disappear as opposed to what's happening now. Well, I just really think that the city is very distracted on things that they shouldn't be for this on an example would be, you know, spending a great deal of time talking about what's happening in Israel and what's happening, you know,
within the Israel Hamas war. You know, these are these these are things that city councils should not be discussing when you're dealing with things like how do we recruit police officers and firefighters? You know, how do we fix roads, how do we correct our pension issues, our Cincinnati retirement system issues. You know, they're just really big issues that city council and the mayor should
be focused on, and they just easily get distracted. And I think most Americans believe that our country is hitting in the wrong direction, and that kind of starts at our local level, in our state level, and then our federal level. And I don't think Cincinnati is an any different than what we're seeing happening in Philadelphia, Chicago, or Cleveland. In fact, if you had a rougher ride, shall we say, as an African American more or less conserva, I think you're middle of the road, but you tend to
be on the right side of things. I think right is also a qualitative term. But nonetheless is it a good thing for the city. And I guess at some point they're going to have to come to Jesus meeting because all that PPP money is now dried up, and all that extra hundreds of millions from the Biden administration doesn't exist anymore. Now they're talking about it, What
are we going to do next? Do you have a sense that Cincinnati is especially for a black person at some point the core of the Democratic Party may say, you know what, we can't take it anymore, and that we can't take bad schools, we can't take a slim down police department, we can't take a lack of job creation, we can't take the crime. The crime in Cincinnati is off the hook. There's going to be four to five
hundred people shot this year in the city of Cincinnati. Have you and you were heading the NAACP for many years, but I think you have a rep as being somewhat of a conservative African American as that caused you anged in the black community. It has it because I think that African Americans are moving towards what you just defined. You know, they're looking at family breakdowns like you're talking about, which is which is huge crime in they're in our community.
They're talking about issues like inflation, what it costs them to buy groceries, and what it costs them to fill up their tank, just like you are. And they're they're watching a president who they can clearly see has some cognitive issues to be to be nice about it, and you know, I see that. I think I think what you're seeing is Latinos and African Americans are
starting to trend away from the Democratic Party. I think what they're seeing specifically this war between Israel and Hamas you're seeing the base of the Democratic Party really revolt. The young people that were promised free money as it relates related to their college education, and now they're feeling like things are now being turned around in a bad way as it relates to their values in this most recent war.
And you're seeing a president saying I've got to turn my back on Israel, which I know you have visited our ally there, and this is going to be a major issue that plays out in this election in November. But to answer your question, yes, African Americans and Latinos are moving away from
the Democratic Party. They see housing prices going higher, things rents skyrocketing, grocery bills going through the roof, and their retirement money, things like the CRS system we have locally, that money not going far enough for them. All the things that every everyday Americans are dealing with. And I just want to post up, and I know I'm going to change the subject her a little bit, Willie, but just to tell you how discussed I was with
the State of the Union address by President Biden. And that's the kind of stuff I think hits the radar of African Americans and Latinos, meaning this disconnect from reality. Him him saying the economy is great, right, and people are saying, what are you talking about. I mean, every time I go to the store, I spend a hunt over one hundred dollars and I have less in my basket. And that's nothing to do with the packaging.
It has to do with what it costs me to run my home, and things like, you know, I'm misidentifying a young lady in Georgia Lake and Riley who lost her life tragically by someone who came to our country illegally. And you hear African Americans and barbershops across the country saying things like, well, this president wants to give money and resources to illegal people coming in our country, and they're unwilling to support our community on the things that we'd like
to talk about. And we are Americans and we've been living here our whole life. And so that is a major rub and kind of a drum beat that I constantly hear and don't forget. Many African Americans are veterans, They have served their country, and they're incredibly concerned. For example, when they see that gold Star father yell out, hey, this is my son's name,
and he was a marine and he was not respected. I mean, all of those things I want you to know are impacting where African Americans and Latinos are going because they're patriotic, they're serving their country like every other American, and the other thing. George Floyd was one of those moments in the summer of twenty twenty that caused lots of riots. Of course, I think
George Floyd's behavior put them in contact with the police. Then the police should not have done what they did with his knee on the side of the head. But nonetheless, I cannot imagine if a Republican president like Donald Trump had referred to George Floyd as possibly Tom Floyd couldn't get away with it. But when Biden talks about Lincoln Riley, who's the head football coach at Southern cal instead of Lincoln Riley, it's like glossed over as simply president who might have
a stutter in his voice, without reference to his mental aguity. Can you imagine in the Black community of Donald Trump in the State of the Union address had misidentified George Floyd. What would have happened. Yeah, I think that we would have had. First of all, there would have been immediate discussion across ABC, NBC, MSNBC in a way that would have caused riots in most of our major cities, demonstrations in most of our major cities calling for
his resignation, calling and demanding for an apology. And I think it was incredibly hurtful and disgusting that he's holding a button with her name on it and
then could not say her name. And I think what happened the difference between and by the way, Willie, let me be very clear, I have a daughter who meant most many of your listening audience they have daughters, And you know Lake and Riley was jogging, she was had her whole life ahead of her as a nursing student, and fathers and mothers can identify with a horrible murder of a daughter. And based on the public policies of the president,
that's the connection. Meaning most Americans understand that these were executive orders that that President Biden turned back in his first month becoming the president that has exacerbated open borders on our southern border border where they understand that this violent criminal was arrested in New York and released because of a lack of cooperation with Ice and
made it to Georgia, killing Lake and Riley. That's the rub that he didn't know her name and that it was his public policy that ultimately got her murdered as an American in her own country. I'm sharing with you African Americans, latinos Asians of the Jewish community, we all understand that this could have been our daughter, and we have a president that's disconnected. And that's what was so powerful about what President Trump, former President Trump did the same weekend
where he met with the family. He consoled them, He apologized for what happened and said, if I ever become the president, this wouldn't happen. This was a major, major stumble. And if this was George Floyd and he had said Pat Floyd, our Mark Floyd, our Tim Floyd, right, we all of us understand that our major cities would have been on fire. And by the way, they would have said that one one death right, it wouldn't have to take two deaths. One death demands a policy change.
Where you're hearing democrats saying this is one person. This is one person who lost their life, and in that life, it doesn't mean that we have to change direction or public policy. And then in the same weekend, in conclusion, you had Nancy Pelosi demanding that President Biden take away or take
back using the word illegal and should have said undocumented. And this is literally providing cover for a murderer and someone who had killed an American family member's child and she lost her life, and you have a president debating what he should have called her. That is what is so grotesque. After listening to the State of the Union and really what I think most Americans continue to believe that
our country is hitded in it all direction. And Chris Meatherman, when the President apologizes to the murderer his last name was a bearra for killing a lake and using the name illegal alien, he had plenty of time to repeatedly apologize to the murderer of that young woman by calling him an illegal alien. He wants now these individuals to be called newcomers. We've gone from illegal alien to
migrant. Now they're newcomers. And this newcomer was a one man crime spree that began in New York City. He and his brother continued in Athens and Atlanta, Georgia right through it. So the president had time to apologize to the murderer for misidentifying him as an illegal alien, which of course he was, but he didn't have time to meet with lakeln Riley's family what Trump did, and I think the people of Georgia may not forget that for a long
time. To apologize to a brutal murderer and not to the victims family, that's a problem. That's a problem. Remember Georgia, by I think it was point zero two went to Biden, meaning it's unusual that a southern state like Georgia would put our vote or go with a Democrat. I believe you're
right. I think Georgia is going to change and go read based on not only this happening, but what's happening with Prosecutor Willis and Prosecutor Wade, which I believe will come to fruition by Friday, where you'll see the prosecutors will be removed from the case of this of these you know eighteen people who are being charged by Prosecutor Willis, and that her timeline is not going to add
up, and ultimately she will be removed. I think also the entire state, meaning the prosecutor's office, will be removed, and most people probably don't they might not understand this, but the state had to have known when the
relationship began. They had to have known that Prosecutor Wade, Special Prosecutor Wade was involved in this relationship prior to the appointment, prior to him receiving those those those those dollars, and most likely will be a prejudice for the state, and most likely I would think that this entire case is going to be thrown out in Georgia. All of those things combined will probably make Georgia go
read in the upcoming election. And I think that President Biden, that's want to emphasize to you Willie, as my friend and a father and a grandfather, that you and I would have been horrifically horrified by that State of a Union address if we had a president hold up a button with our daughter's name on it and him mispronounced it and calling her Lincoln Riley. And I don't care who you are, if you're Democrat and you're listening to this, if
you're a Republican and independent or libertarian, if you have a heart. You have to be moved. You have to be moved by such an egregious action by President Biden to disrespect that family the way they did at that State of the Union address. I am blown away by his callousness. And I'm not being political with you, Willie. I'm saying this is a human issue. It's not even a political issue. It's a humanity issue of why he continues to miss the mark. And that's why I brought up to George Floyd.
I agree with you that you know where we might disagree. I'm not sure is that it was horrific. I think you said it shouldn't have happened. I don't think it should have happened in any circumstance. But here's where you and I would absolutely agree that if President Biden or former President Trump most importantly here are President or former President Bush had misspoke and said this was John Floyd,
our country would have been on fire. Well, it's sad, but the president he cared about the feelings of a murderer and not about the feelings of the victim. Chris Mothering, we can spend all afternoon on this, but we got a run. Once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show, and please let's keep the lines at communication open and brother, thank you, and people can follow me on x or former Twitter whatever they call it, and I follow you at vote Smitherman they want to follow
me. Thank you, Thank you, brother for the time, Christopher, thank you all. Let's continue with the more your reaction five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand. Later on we're going to have Moeger in to break down March madness starting today about two thirty at Showman, the Reds, the Bearcats, the Muskies and more. News Radio seven hundred WULW Marty Brennaman for helpful of services. You know, I love that
old song. Northern Kentucky lost yesterday in the semifinals of the Horizon League. I don't anticipate they're going to be in. But to break it all down right now, is Moeger. Moeger, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. Before we get into the issues of March madness. Oh boy, it's exciting, I know. And uh there's a headline of the inquir that says, do you believe in miracles? It would be a miracle if you see
or Xavier March for glory and win the conference championship tournament. But first of all, Joe Mixon. When you look back on Joe Mixon, what is his legacy here, if any, and why did the Bengals take so long to cut him? Well, his legacy here is he was a terrific player. He bridged the gap from a pretty dark time in the history of the franchise, which was you know, twenty seventeen, eighteen and nineteen, to what ended up being maybe the greatest period in franchise history, where they played
him back to back conference championship games, made a Super Bowl. Joe Mixon
threw a touchdown pass in the Super Bowl against the Rams. I you know, a few years ago when we were wondering are the Bengals going to resign Joe Mixon to a long term contract extension, My take on it was, even in this era where running backs aren't getting paid like they used to, Joe Mixon is worth bringing back if Zach Taylor wants him back, because you have to give a new coach a chance to coach the type of players that
he desires. And I think he viewed Joe Mixon as central to the culture he was trying to establish and so in that regard, I think he was a pretty significant piece in the history of the franchise. In terms of Whyatt took so long for them to move on, I'm gonna guess that that answer lies at the desk of Mike Brown. I think it would be interesting if you go back a year ago, if you canvassed everybody in the football department, the coaches and the personnel people with the Bengals. I think they were
ready to move on. My guess is someone in ownership wanted to run it back for another year with Joe Mixon. They asked him to take a pay cut. He accepted. Had he said no, they would have moved on. In the intervening time between then and now, Joe Mixon played this past season, he was below league average in many metrics. They wanted somebody who was more explosive. They wanted somebody who was younger, They wanted somebody who
was cheaper, and they accomplished that by acquiring Zach Moss. But Joe's seven year run in Cincinnati was really good, a lot of great memories. He was a good teammate, and I think and hope that that's remembered on top of you know, just discussing why it was time for the Bengals and Joe Mixon to separate, and as far as the criminal charges, etc. Is that background music at this point because it appears that Joe mixonan himself did not
commit a criminal act, but those around him did. But there's that backward clamor about a little bit off field issues. But Mike Brown has been extremely solicitous of individuals who have fallen from grace and maybe the same thing will apply to Marshall Highs do at Muller High School and come back the other direction. But in the legacy of Joe Mixon from Oklahoma, do you look back on it and say, well, his behavior off the field may have caused this.
Uh, I don't think it helped. But look, he went through or he perhaps put himself through what he put himself through last offseason, and the team still brought him back. I think it would have been interesting to see what would have happened just with the NFL had he been convicted of a crime, but he wasn't. I think this came I think this came down to production. I think it came down to fit. I think it came down to cost. I don't think that anything off the field really impacted this
decision all that much. I think had that been the case, they would have moved on a year ago. But by the way, it's worth mentioning the Bengals didn't just move on from Joe Mixon. They traded him to the Houston Texans, which is pretty remarkable that the Bengals got something in return for a player that they were going to cut, whose replacement they brought into the
fold and Zach Moss. That's pretty shrewd work by Duke Tobin, and it at least gives Joe Mixon a chance to show that in his eighth season he can still play. And I'll be interested to see if he can still provide some value at a position where the drop off once you get to a certain age tends to be pretty steep. Can the Bengals afford a T Higgins and
a Jamar Chase? Can they afford number one and number five? And what is number nwe say, I would assume that Joe Burrow wants Jamar Chase there, but T Higgins, if he's healthy, which is a big if, appears to be as good or better than Jamar Chase. At various locations. That one touchdown reaching over the pylon was unbelievable. Can the Bengals afford T
Higgins? Well? Can they afford him? Sure? I mean they have the money to pay him, But do they have the money to pay Jamar Chase and T Higgins and Joe Burrow and still build the roster the way they want? They could afford T Higgins if it's not like the Bengals haven't made T Higgins a long term offer. They have, it's not for the money that T. Higgins is looking for, And you certainly can't blame a player
for thinking that he's worth more than his team is willing to offer. They've made him an offer and T Higgins has said no, which is why we are where we are. Had T Higgins said yes, I can guarantee you the Bengals would still try to figure out a way to sign Jamar Chase, which I expect they will do next offseason. And obviously they have Joe Burrow.
Now can they afford to have Joe Burrow as the highest paid player in the sport and Jamar Chase as the highest paid wide receiver and T Higgins as one of the top five highest paid wide receivers long term financially, can you do it? Sure? But can you do it and still build your team to the degree that you would like? Look, this team is not that far away from having to probably spend again big time in free agency to replace
the offensive linemen who are on the team right now. In the short term, there's twenty one million dollars set aside for T Higgins to play for the Bengals this year. Joe Burrow is going to get a pay raise this season, but the money he makes in twenty twenty four is going to pale in comparison to what he's going to get in twenty twenty five. Jamar Chase is still under a rookie contract, and so I think the hope in the short term is te plays for the Bengals into the franchise tag, which unless they
trade him, he will, and they go and win a title. And then once the offseason begins next February, this is all sort of revisited and maybe T walks in free agency. Maybe he decided, you know what, I like winning. We won here, I'm gonna stay here ala Chris Jones in Kansas City. The question isn't so much about can they afford him? It's can they afford to have this much money devoted to three players that basically occupy one facet of the team, and still build the roster and supplement the
roster with the players they want to be able to pay moving forward. Why are you shocked at the money's being handed out. I'm looking at these contracts. They're unbelievable. They're the salary cap is skyrocketed. The ability of the NFL to reinvent itself. I mean, there was a period of time with the Bengals run out post and NFL was wobbling because they were being sued for all kinds of reasons. Right now, the NFL is a monster. The
NFL dominates. When I watch ESPN or Fox Sports, there's NFL talk more than NBA talk. When the baseball season starts officially, I think on Friday, teams playing Korea and then of course the Bengals the Reds on the twenty eighth. Baseball is like my favorite sport, But I'm the anomaly. Are you shocked and how the NFL dominates everything in sports, even in the offseason when nothing's happening. No, it's been trending this way a while. So
you know your first question was, am I shocked at the money? No, because I see what with the NFL's media deals go for. The gambling money is just now starting to hit the National Football League, and I know what teams are making in terms of sponsorships, ticket revenue, and suite so that the money being paid to players and they get roughly half is unsurprising. Professional football is the only thing left in American culture that we could all agree
on. Right, We've never been more divided monocultural monoculture doesn't exist. But if there's one thing that brings everybody to the party, it's the National Football League. Forty eight of the top fifty most watched shows in the United States in twenty twenty three, we're professional football games, And so you know, it's sort that can be consumed in a number of different ways. It's a sport that if you have a favorite team and only demand your attention one day
a week. The proliferation of legalized gambling in this country has made the sport more popular. The proliferation of fantasy football has made this sport more popular. The proliferation of college football in this country, I think has really added to the NFL, and the NFL has done a really good job of creating events
out of non events that dominate the news cycle. The NFL Scouting Combine went on two weeks ago, right as baseball spring training was beginning, right as college basketball was coming down the stretch, right as the NBA is coming down the stretch. The NHL the same, and yet the NFL Scouting Combine dominated
the conversation. The NFL Draft will take over sports in this country once we get past opening Day, and that's while the NBA playoffs are going on and the NHL playoffs are going on, and baseball is going to be in full swing. It is a league that has done an awesome job of making non events and turning them into events. It's also had its teams lean into free agency a lot more, which just creates more conversation that maybe didn't exist ten
to fifteen years ago. If you're an NFL fan, it's awesome. If you're in charge of any of the other sports, you're trying to carve out your niche in a landscape that is dominated by the National Football League. Lastly, in about two hours in Kansas City, the home of the chiefs UC is going to play West Virginia. Are you encapsulated now in March madness?
What's happened to March madness? Xavier place tomorrow against Butler, But in about two hours, U see, starts will be glued to screens all around the Tri state Moeger break down. U see in West Virginia. Well, the Bearcats just played West Virginia on Saturday and blew them out, And it made you think back to the game they played in Morgantown about a month ago, where the Bearcats had a double digit lead with ten minutes to go and couldn't
hold on to win. And of all the frustrating losses the Bearcats have suffered this season, that would be that would be I think, at the very very top, what's going to be interesting about. You see, let's assume they win today, and that might be an assumption you don't want to make, but they are ten and a half point favorite. They would then play Kansas tomorrow. Kansas is not going to have Kevin mccullor or Hunter Dickinson,
who are two of their best players, maybe their two best players. Cincinnati played Kansas at Allen Field House back in January, played them very tough. So Kansas is going to be a little bit more beatable tomorrow against whoever they play. But if the Bearcats play Kansas, it's going to be a compromise Jayhawks team. Then waiting for the winner of that game would be Baylor. Bearcats. I think should have beaten Baylor in Waco, a game that came
down to the wires. So you See probably needs to win four games to even really be considered for the NCAA Tournament. But there's a bit of an opening. There's a bit of an opening, and it's not like they haven't been competitive in all these games. But first things first, they got to take care of business today against West Virginia. They have to play the way they did second half. And when you See has been at its best,
they don't turn the basketball over. When they've been at their worst, turnovers have been a problem against West Virginia. There are two point guards did not turn it over. When u See doesn't turn it over, their offense gets good looks, They get good shots. Now, they haven't been a great
shooting team. It's been frustrating watching them misopen shots this year. But this is not a West Virginia team that should turn them over if the Bearcats cannot step on their own foot and give the basketball away, which is not what happened in the game in Morgantown. You see, should win today and then they'll play Kansas tomorrow night and their slim March Madness hopes will still be alive. And Xavier's another story. They're in danger of having a losing season for
the first time this century. We'll see what happens with Xavier tomorrow. But once again, Moeger, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show and keep hope alive. Are we gonna watch any NCAA tournament games together? No, let's continue with more Bill Cunningham, the Great American Live at your home of the Xavier Musketeers who beat uc in March Madness again this year. You know, in years past, if there was a presidential election, it was about lawsuits, about what's going to be admissible, what is not going to be admissible. It's about all the
issues of the southern border. But really, the Democratic Party and others now want to make this about the warfare, making the law obedient to the demands of the radical left. And Paul Kamanar is a constitutional expert. He's with the elite counsel for the National Legal and Policy Center. So many issues, so little time, And Paul Kaminar, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show.
And first of all, I want to deal with a story that broke a few days ago, and that is all of us have heard repeatedly the telephone call out from Trump to Raffinsburger, who's the Secretary of State in Georgia, and it was recorded, and something mysteriously it was quickly released by Raffinsburger's office because it was on the call was one of his top administrative assistants who
just happened to be in the state of Florida. And the Florida law is a two party state, that is, all parties must agree to a tape recording, and of course Trump did not agree to the tape recording. And so maybe in addition to all the missing mis genderings and misadventures of the Fulton County Prosecutor Fanny Willison and her lover Nathan Wade, that that is a parent
what really happened there. But nonetheless, is it possible the entire case could go away because it was a recorded conversation in the state of Florida, which is a two party state, and Trump never agreed to the recording thereof is out of possibility. I don't think that's possability that the whole case will be dismissed because of that. If anything, it'll be dismissed because of the whole Fanny Willis and Nathan Wade a love affair going on, and they're possibly perjuring
themselves in terms of when that relationship started. As you know, there was a testimony that had started before she hired him. So if anything, that one should be fatal to the case. And well know probably by the next week or so what the judge is going to rule there. But the part about the Raffisburgers calls an interesting one. If in fact it was initiated by Raffidberger's aid in Florida, which is that all parties have to be on the call, that would be a violation of the state law and then be a
violation of a criminal violation that could get that person in trouble. If it was originated in Georgia by Raffinsburger and he just added his aid on to the call, that may be a different situation. But in any event, the overall issue is what's the big deal with this call? The call was by President Trump to Radberg said, Hey, I've got evidence and reports that there's some fraud going on down there. I want you to check to see if
you can find some votes that may be fraudulent. He didn't tell him to make up any votes or anything of that nature. So what he was doing was carrying out his duties, not only as president, but as a camp by that, as a candidate. Any citizen in the United States has, under the First Amendment, the right to petition your government for redress and grievances. And if your a grievance is, hey, I think the election that I'm a candidate on was not proper. There was some fraud. I want
you to check it out. That's perfectly legitimate of the First Amendment. It's not up to the government to dismiss your petition to them and say, oh, I think that's frivolous. And by the way, I'm going to make that a criminal think what you're doing here. So it really is outrageous that the government is criminalizing Trump's exercise of his First Amendment rights, let alone the fact that he was acting also wearing a hat as president of the United States.
Well, question, he's the chief law enforcement officer, and if he believes that various civil rights or voting rights acts are being violated, it's not just his proclivities, it's his duty to arise and say, can you find seven eleven thousand, seven hundred and eighty votes. He didn't say corruptly find them or create them or locate them wrongfully, He said, I believe they're
out there, Go find eleven thousand, seven or eighty votes. And that telephone call, which appears at this point to be illegally taped, was used against him in and the Georgia indictments, and and uh, I can only imagine if a democratic president done exactly the same thing, none of this would
have metastasized into a thirty six count indictment. Now, in addition to that, some have raised the idea that because of all the money is paid to the Biden family over the past several years, directly and indirectly to the Big Guy, or to Hunter Biden, or to Jim Biden or Joe Biden or the Biden grandkids, that the foreign policy of this country has been bought and paid for by the Chinese government Shieshao Ping. I'm reading stories about these balloons
floating over our country taking pictures. The fact that my local Congressman, brad Winstrip has investigating illegal Chinese laboratories operating on US soil, having a witch's brew of bachelism and HIV and a bunch of other diseases to be released on us. I'm looking at a story out of Yahoo News Chinese linked US marijuana farms
sparked grades calls for stronger crackdowns. There are tens of thousands of Chinese marijuana grow operations happening inside the United States, along with the various Chinese police departments, some of whichmond rolled up in New York City. Do you think that the policies of this country have been adjusted by the millions paid to Joe Biden and his family or is that simply a coincidence. So I think there's obviously
a connection there. And what's important, we think that we filed the National Legal Policy Center a complaint with the Justice Department over three years ago against Hunter Biden, saying that he should have been registered as a foreign agent for China and Maurisma and Ukraine when he was getting all this money. And what do we have. We have these tax charges that were filed against Hunter by the now Special Consul David Wise California. Those are serious enough there fell he's facing
several years in jail even if he pleads guilty to those follow me. But what I'm getting at is the more serious violations we see is, as you put it, that there was this foreign complicity here with foreign agents and foreign countries corrupting our system, and that was just swept under the rug. Something else swept under the rug was Joe Biden's direct communication with the Pen Biden Center that Hunter, Biden and the Pen Biden Center must register as foreign agents of
China. One that also includes the President as a foreign agent of China. He was the one getting paid at the Pen Center. Explain that if the American explained that, Paul Kameron, American people may not know what we're talking about. The Pen Center explain that, Yeah, No, The Pen Biden Center is basically a think tank, if you could use the word think tank in the same name as Joe Biden with a think tank in DC that was
set up by the University of Pennsylvania. The University of Pennsylvania, while Biden was a left office as vice president. He was getting paid several hundred thousands of dollars to make a couple lectures, et cetera at university. Well, they said, well, look, let's let's go big time here. Let's set up a whole institute under your name in Washington, d c. And
basically we'll pay you and you can have all these programs going on. Well, our organization, the Nation Legal Policy c But I said, we filed a complaint with the Just Department against Hudder Biden. We also filed it against the Penn Biden Center because they got a University of Pennsylvania got sixty seven million dollars at least from China. A good chunk of that was listed as anonymous that we don't know who in China was giving this money, even though in
China everything is connected to the I and his party. Right, So we were arguing that that is connected to China and they should be registered as a foreign agent. And here you had the University of Pennsylvania the very first month when when the COVID nineteen hit and January twenty twenty one, they had their annual China summit down in Philadelphia where the University of Pennsylvania is located. And
who was the keynote speaker. The ambassador up there from New York came down to address the crowd and saying, you know, basically, hey, all my friends, let's get this US China relationship. Let's notch it up a
bit and so forth. And who was sitting at the table the representative from the Penn Biden Center as well as other couple constituents of the University of Pennsylvania that when we found a complaint against them, the University of Pennsylvania came back and says, oh, we're not soliciting money to the pen Biden Center. All that Chinese money is coming to the University of Pennsylvania and the Penn Biden Center is not directed. I said, well, wait a minute, China's
not giving you that money for your music department. Give me a break. You know, it's being funnel to all you're international organizations that you have, including the pen Biden Center. So that's a good point that this whole Foreign Asians registration actor is not being complied with respect to hunter with the pen Biden Center. And as you said, with Joe Biden himself, Oh, by the way, guess who was the executive director of the Penn Biden Center.
Tony blancoln did you ever hear of that guy's name? Yeah, yeah, he's a Secretary of State. So what happened was this Penn Biden Center was basically an administration in waiting, so that once Biden got elected, he had all his buddies over the Pen Biden Center come over. And what happened Now they found out there was classified documents at the Pen Biden Center. And here you have a Robert Hurr who came out to reports saying, yeah, we
found classified documents. Joe Biden violated the law with respect to keeping those documents there in his garage next to his corvette. But you know, guys, a little man, let's not go after him because he's got a bad memory, etc. And now we've got him testifying before the Hill. The committee's about that, and we're going after him in terms of releasing the transcript and the video of Joe Biden's deposition at the White House back on October eighth.
In October ninth for eight hours, and they're stonewalling it. I'll tell you what, Paul. It is an article of faith among communist organizations like Hajizhaoping and Communist Red China what they do or bribe the leaders of a country with millions and millions and millions of dollars in their pocket in exchange for connections to
that country's billions or trillions worth their economic benefit. And so I would imagine other American politicians have been similarly bribed directly or indirectly by the Communist Red Chinese. But in this case their bet paid off that somehow Joe Biden actually won the twenty twenty election, and the Pen Biden Center got at least sixty seven million dollars, not for the music department, but because of the political connections
put out by Joe Biden. And one might ask what services did Hunter Biden provide to China, or to Barisma in the Ukraine, or to Romania? What positive value did Hunter Biden have accept the fact his dad was a sitting senator, vice president and then president, that he monetized the influence peddling because Hunter Biden provided nothing, zero zilch not and nothing to Communist Redshaw to accept
his connections to his father, Joe. And as you, I would suspect that Joe Biden at some point, as he's leaving office either in January of next year or god forbid, like five years from now. He's going to pardon his son, Hunter Biden of all federal charges decleared the deck. No question that's gonna happen, correct, Oh, absolutely. In fact, I
go one better. I say he's going to pardon his son right after the election, whether he wins or loses, because if he loses, he's got nothing to lose by partying him, because he's going to be in office for another month or's a couple of months. But if you win, what has he got to lose, because he's going to say, Hey, I'm a lame duping anyway, what are you going to do now? Elect me again? I can't run again anyway. And his son is going to be before
the here within the next six months to a year. So he's not going to wait even if by them wins another four years to partner the son because he doesn't want to have his son go to prison. And his son definitely is going to go to prison for this unless the fix is in there as well, and don't be surprised on that. Well, he's also partner his brother Jim Biden will probably pardon the first lady, pardon his own grandchildren.
He'll pardon all the bidens who pay tens of millions of dollars to affect our policies which have been changed. Now. Lastly, Peter Sweitzer has done great work on this exposing Black Lives Matter and their funding. Explain your connections to investigating Black Lives Matter where the money comes from? Oh yeah, no. Our organization went after Black Lives Matter Hammers and Tongue a year or two ago, where we exposed all the money that was being misused by the leader there
where she was taking the money and buying two or three houses. Uh. She was using the so called big house and uh in Beverly Hills that they bought for Black Lives Matter. She was using it basically as her own uh uh play pay place where she would uh go on video and have like cooking shows in the swanky kitchen, and she would have meetings with their buddies there around the pool and so forth. And it was finally we found I R
s complaints against her, several of them. Uh. Finally she she resigned, uh saying that she couldn't take the pressure from all the spotlight on her, which we thank god we did. Uh and and and now uh they're uh still under investigation by the by the i R s Uh. But yeah, no, uh that that was one organization that ripped off uh tens of millions of dollars from woke corporations and the public trying to say, oh,
black lives matter. So meanwhile, that money wasn't going to the communities, even had the black leaders in the communities complaining about how the Black Lives Matter hierarchy was misusing the money. They even gave up money to their Canadian chapter that bought a mansion that used to be and I'm making this up, used to be the headquarters of the Communist Party in Canada. You know, I guess you know they fell. Well, this is a nice home for us
because of the similar philosophical beliefs. Well, the three leaders of Black Lives Matter are Socialists and Marxist And they looted American businesses who wanted to pay like protection money after the George Floyd riots, and when it came out that black folks weren't helped at all by this. It was all about looting American business for the personal benefits of the organizers, including Aos black Lives Matter. Paul
Kaminar, you do great work. And uh, thank you the legal counselor for the National Legal and Policy Center and for their frivolity, the double standards, the ridiculousness of the mainstream media and the Biden family and how they protect the Bidens. Designed is a short, relevant and powerful American history. Great for busy people who won't read many
books. Rediscovering America and the same Scott Powell about a week ago on Monday, put together a column Biden in the sixteen year plan to break down America, and if one goes back to twenty oh seven twenty oh eight, Barack Hussein Obama famously said many times we have to rediscover, in a sense, a different kind of America. We have to transform America from what into what. And he began his presidency by an apology tour that took him over large
parts of the world. The plan was eight years of Obama to be followed by eight years of Hillary Clinton. After sixteen years, there you go, and Barack Hussein Obama did lots of things leading from behind, and Scott Powell, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And before we get into the essence of what you're saying about this sixteen year plan that was interrupted by the four years of Donald Trump, let's go back to twenty oh seven and twenty
eight, twenty oh nine. Obama's running for the presidency. The media loves everything he says. They're at his feet on a regular basis. He gets elected, and then he spends the next few months doing what Let's go back to the beginning of Obama. What was the original plan? Well over, if we could talk about we'll start out with the first term, but i'll cover the basically the two terms. You know, he undertook such policy initiatives
as curbing fossil fuel usage and production. He imposed federal restrictions on fracking. He rejected the Keystone Excel pipeline. In other words, he made war on hydrocarbon fuels, you know, the thing that makes our lives so much easier. You know, there's a place for other energies, wind solar, but I think we're learning that these are not very efficient, and they're not reliable,
and they're more expensive. Oil and gas were blessed with a lot of it in America, and we should use it, but he made war on it. He embraced the Paris Climate Accord, and in so doing, you know, he pushed this you know, this sustainable energy business on us. On the defense and foreign policy front, he cut military spending. He purged about one hundred and ninety seven so called America First generals and animals. These
were the patriotic generals and animals that kept our military in line. He attempted to close Guantanamo. He strengthened the Muslim Brotherhood and contributed fomenting the Arab Spring of twenty eleven, which destabilized Tunisia, Egypt, Libya, and then that gave to the you know, that gave birth to the rise of Isis. And before leaving office, he transferred one point seven billion dollars to Iran, the number one sponsor of terrorism in the world. How how's that for an
American president. That's kind of a good start, isn't it. So the plan was to we have to transform America from what to what we know how it turned out. So the plan was that those two fought like cats and dogs in the primary, Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, but as soon as he won, he appointed sets her up to be Secretary of State for the first four years and after that she was going to run for the presidency with Obama support, Michelle Obama support. The plan was set up. Eight years
was a good start. Needed eight more years of Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton, Oh my god, in the White House. But what happened in twenty sixteen did disrupt everything. That was incredible. But it was I think, you know, the American people have common sense. They didn't like the direction that our country was going under Obama, and Donald Trump was a you know, was an alternative that had a lot of appeal. And indeed, we judge politicians not by what they say, by what they do, what their
policies are, and what the results are. And under Trump, we had, you know, we had a controlled southern border, we had a strong economy, We had nations around the world respecting us, and you know, the Trump record was really quite remarkable, in spite of there being a constant campaign against him while he was in the Oval office. In fact, in fact, when he was running, I made the point that if the system knew in twenty fifteen, at the end of twenty sixteen, then in reality
Trump was going to win. It was a shock to the system, and from inside the Trump campaign, I know it was a bit of a surprise that they won. They hoped to win, they wanted to win. But my gosh, it's like a ton of bricks hit Donald Trump when he came out under the stage and New York City thinking, oh my god, now I've done it. Dog catches car, what do I do now? There was a shock to the system. Do you agree with me, Scott Powell that if the system had known in the fall of twenty sixteen that Trump was
going to win, they would not have permitted it to occur. I think they would have done more to, you know, to stop him. I mean, vote fraud is something that we've lived with for you know, for decades. I mean it's existed in small amounts probably throughout the history of America, but it certainly was ramped up in the twenty twenty election to a degree that basically you massively altered vote, the ballots and the and the electoral outcome,
so that Trump lost. But we all know that that all that's coming to light now. And then in the beginning, I think a lot of people were reluctant to think that all votes fraud can't really happen in America. Well, it sure did. And I think that Trump's popularity now is so large, his margin is so great that they're really struggling to They don't think
that they probably could execute enough fraudulent votes to overcome the sweeping victory. I mean, it's going to be a landslide victory, I think in real votes for Donald Trump. And so you want to say it's too big to rig, And you say too big to rig, and you say in your column. Biden in twenty twenty was the ideal candidate for the globalist deep state operatives because of his cognitive decline, low energy, enabling them to get the sixteen
year planned back on steroids. And then the State of the Union address happened, happened last week and unbelievable, shocking. Explain what was shocking about the State of the Union address which was filled with lies and da vindictiveness. Also, he couldn't come up with the name Lake and Riley, And one can only imagine if a Republican president had used the name. I don't know is that a George Bloyd called him Paul George? What the hell would have happened?
All hell would have broken loose. It was appalling that it appears, and now after hers testimony, it appears it's pretty clear we have a dysfunctional president who's not mentally alert enough to stand trial on criminal chargest. Her has said that basically he's old and frail and can't remember anything. Well, that's the case, why why is he the president address yourself, Scott pottle of the State of the Union address and talk about how it was filled with lies
and big dictimus and the sixteen year plan is back on. Well, I don't need to remind the audience of all the details of the lies, but there were probably three dozen just bull face lies throughout that speech. But I think it was the vindictiveness and the you know, the disrespect that the president had for the American people that was so shocking, if you will, I mean, for a president to deliver a harsh, angry, vindictive speech, you know, to a majority of the people that are listening to him,
It's unthinkable that that would happen. I mean, it's never happened before. It was such an appalling State of the Union performance that I think the Democrats now have no choice but to remove and replace Joe Biden prior to the November elections. Let's talk about that, because I've said repeatedly Michelle Obama is the obvious second choice. But she has said repeatedly it's not for me. It's not going to happen. When you have a president so mentally compromised, he
can't go to court. According to the president's own Department of Justice, Robert Hurr. When you have a president who can't remember the years he was the vice president, he can't remember the year that his son Bo Biden died. This is somebody mentally corrupt. But here we are in the middle of March, and he appears to be getting on and getting on, saying ridiculous things. The day after the Union Address, Scott Powell, he went to Pennsylvania
and announced that I'm running for Congress. Put me into Congress. He doesn't know what position he's even in. But we got almost eight long months to go. So he's not going to appear in public in any great way until they convention Chicago in August. He can't give interviews. He has to deal with interviews with the whirling blades of helicopters when he gets when he gets on, only time he talks to the media. When you say they got to get rid of him, why do you say that, Well, because he
can't be elected. I mean he's you know, he's driving more votes to Trump than any other candidate right now. Yeah, yeah, So anyone but Joe Biden would be helpful to the Democrat Party. But I don't think the Democrat Party is necessarily going to recover from this because let me, let me give some a message of a little bit of hope to the audience. Yes, please, I need hope America. America is a diseased country, pretty politic. Our culture has a disease that's killing us, but we don't really
know what it is, or we didn't know what it is. Now, in order in order to get healthy, you've got to diagnose what the problems are, right, So what's been happening in the last few years is we've been going through a process of discovery of the disease and the body politic and the main disease is political corruption. And political corruption comes in many forms. There's the old fashioned kind where people are just being paid, and I think
the Chinese have a very very big role in elite capture in America. I've written about this, and I'll just say it again that the Chinese, they devote our intelligence agencies tell us they devote fifteen billion dollars for the purpose of subverting the United States. Fifteen billion is just earmarked to be spent for that. So that it's fifteen billion is a huge number. I mean, what is it. What does it cost to bribe an elite politician or an elite
businessman a couple of million, maybe five million? How many could you brob how many could you bribe? With fifteen billion dollars, you could literally bribe all thousands of politicians. So we have elite capture going on. And that's that, and that is a form of really, you know, fundamental political corruption. But we're discovering all this. We're wake, you know, we're we're having all these hearings in Congress. We know the Biden family is utterly
corrupt, taking money from multiple countries. But the most, the most large s has been taken has been the China money. So the Chinese have a controlling influence on Biden, and that would explain a lot of the things that he's done. Uh, but we can't we can't live like this. We can't go on like this. The American people know that. So we're waking up. That's good, and we're gonna be able to cleanse the body politic, I think, because we're gonna get a righteous man elected in November.
His name is Donald Trump, and he's not a perfect candidate, no one is perfect. But he is a man who really loves America. I mean, the patriot the patriotism of Donald Trump is like no other politician. He loves America. Isn't that who you want to elect? Don't you want someone who loves America? I mean, Biden hates America. Why would he open the borders up to all these people from all over the world, many of
whom are dysfunctional and criminal people and terrorists from China. I mean, you have CCP operatives, you have terrorists, you have Hezbollah people coming in from Venezuela. I mean the number one group of people that have come across the border are from Venezuela. Okay, Venezuela is the host country of Hesbola.
There's many Hesbeola people operating in Venezuela. You better be sure that a good number of those Venezuelans that have come across that southern border are Hesbola people, and so we're going to we have cells of terrorists now inside our borders that will be activated at some point, and it's likely to come before the election. So be aware things are going to get rougher before they get better.
Scott Powell. When I think about the one program Biden administration implement it from Venezuela, Porta Prince, Haiti and Nicaragua, is to fly in about one million illegals over the border from their home countries of Porta Prince or Caracas,
and they fly them into various American cities, largely at night. It's one million total in the past three years plus, which is three hundred and some thousand per year, which is about one thousand a day, five or six large airplanes filled with illegals, so they don't have to march to Mexico and they fly directly into American cities and they're given their papers for the next two

And on top of that, the TI what is that It's treasonous, No treasonous, it is feditious and treason and uh, but we we've got we've we've got we've got a candidate on the other side of the Aisle uh who has stated that he is going to undertake the most massive deportation that the country's ever had. Scott Powell, once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. I have little hope that America can save itself, but when I
speak with you, I have that hope. And once again, once again, Scott Powell, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show, and I guarantee you we'll do it again. Thank you, Scott Powell, thank thank you, thank you. I'd plea let's continue with more, and there it is if a line becomes available five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand, Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred WLW.
