Bill Cunningham, the great American. Of course, the election season is well underway. We'll see what happens with all the Trumpster difficulties. But Kevin Aldrich, who runs the Inquiry, who wrote a column about Russell Mock, the chair of the Hamley County Republican Party, because Russell Mack put out a missive a message to Republican legislative candidates do not answer the Inquirer the questions from the
inquiry. We don't want those questions answered. And Russell Mack is with us now to talk about, first of all, what were the questions and number two where they biased? And Russe Mock, the chair of the Republican Party in Hamley County, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And for those who may not have been paying close attention, what did the Inquirer want the questionnaire to include given only two Republicans? Russell Mock, please give me your
perspective of what the questions were. Well, Willie, thanks for having me on. And so this came to my attention last week. I had several of our local candidates that did contacted me and said had I seen the Inquirer twenty twenty four candidate survey that was sent out to most of the candidates they're going to be on the ballot. And when I looked at it and it said twenty twenty four Republican Candidate Survey, and you know, there's some basic
information. And then I get down to the the first substantive questions and the first question was how would you describe the events at the Capitol on January sixth, twenty twenty one. And then the second question was if Trump is convicted of a crime, should he hold office? Would you vote for? And so of course I said, I asked, you know, can I can I get a hold of can I see that? The question that they sent out to the Democrats and again same basic, you know, back line questions
and the question the first question was do you support Joe Biden? Yes or no? And you know, right there I had to stop and I said, well, boy, this is Slanta, this is by it, you know again, you know, not the Republicans, you know, should high from Donald Trump. I think we need to address these because he's going to be our presmptive nominee. But you know, let me, let me dive into this a little bit further. So, you know, I called somebody that I know at the inquire and I said, hey, what's the deal
with this? You know, why why didn't you ask the same question? Just ask the same questions do you like Donald Trump? Or do you like Joe Biden? Like why do you have to have this plant on this question? And the response was, oh, well, this is just for Republican candidates. And I said, well, so this is for you know, because it's a primary. And I said, if we're talking about Republicans,
let's talk about some issues that Republicans want to talk about. Let's talk about the economy, Let's talk about lowering prices, Let's talk about secrrying the border. And then the general questions you all are asking about discrimination again a retread from twenty twenty, and then raising the abortion issue again. And so, you know, Willie, I expect this, you know when you when you go on Fox News or you go on CNN, you know what you're going
to expect. But from the local print media, you know, I expected more integrity and unbiased. What about asking democrats is as president Joe Biden mentally competent? How about asking the question? Because the Biden's own Department of Justice found that he violated a whole bunch of felony statutes on classified material How about asking do you think it was right for Joe Biden for over fifty years to keep classified materials in his basement? He knew they were classified because he told
his biographer that the classified stuff's downstairs. You think it's legitimate? As Kamala Harris demonstrated the capability of becoming the president, should she have to? How about asking those questions of Democrats? But Kevin Aldridge and the in card didn't do that, did he? They did not. And that was the first thing I said back to him. I said, well, fair, all right. You know, if you're going to ask us a tough question, you know, fine, ask the tough questions. But where are the tough
questions? And that was my first question back to them, I said, why didn't you ask? Do you believe that Joe Biden has the mental and physical capabilities to lead our country not just the rest of this year, for the next four years? So five years. Is anybody that has seen our president on television or attempting to give speeches lately thinks that he can make it
through another five years? And they know what the answer is to that, but you know they don't want to ask those tough questions to their own side. So basically, the Inquir gave to the Democrats underhanded softballs, gave to the Republicans a fastball right at the head thrown by Mario Soto. And now the inquir said to you, I'm going to read a sentence or two from
the Inquir this about you. Russell mock Mack took the easy and cynical road, calling the inquir survey quote deeply biased and unfair unquote, an accusation that will likely resonate with the Republican base. The inquir survey is not biased nor unfair. It's extremely relevant and a critical important election cycle. The thumb is on the scale of justice when you ask Democrats softball questions and throw high hard
ones at Republicans. Now, having what's been the fallout from this. One of the questions was if Trump is convicted of a crime, should he hold office? Would you vote for him? And so the Inquiry wanted to use this as a as a cudgel against Republicans and softball questions to the Democrats, which is uh, which is despicable. Uh. Well, when you speak
to the other Republican candidates haven't gotten this survey. Did they express the same protestations or do they say, you know what, I'm going to answer the survey anyway because uh, maybe Phil uh maybe Heimleik would answer it. That's about it. Well, you know, in my in my letter that I sent to our candidates, I said the decision was up to them, and again it's up to the mitual campaigns and candidates. It was. It was
just my suggestion based upon that. But you know it goes back to you know, let's remember what this can what this candidate survey was supposedly for, supposedly for our local candidates. So let's talk about you know, Prosecutor Melissa
Powers. You know, if we if the Republican and Melissa Powers lose the prosecutor's office the county wille overnight forever, you know, we need someone there to fight the judges against you know, make sure that they're setting appropriate bonds and not overturning you know, these decade old cases and actually fighting for victims, you know, re electing people like Jim neal Back to be the sheriff's office, you know, ending the woke policy that's going on, over there,
you know, stopping the spread of the of the sanctuary city uh to the rest of the county, you know. And we have a razor razors in majority in the House right now, so we need to elect people like Orlando Sonza and keep Warren Davidson in the House. So these are the important local races. Let's talk about the issues that affect these races, not you know, about Donald Trump necessarily in this context of this candidate survey. Again, like I said, you know, Republicans, we have to own our
own side of the street. And you know, there's a time and there's a place, uh to address these things. But for local races and candidates, let's focus on these on these issues that are affecting us. Here Mack, chair of the Republican Party in Hamley County. I think it is still the policy of the city of Cincinnati to be a sanctuary city. I think nuts has changed, has grandly declared it. We've not been inundated yet,
thank god. The coyotes and the human traffickers on the southern border probably can't spell Cincinnati, but they can spell New York and Los Angeles and Chicago. And look at the disasters there and this is Russell Mark. This is the
beginning of the invasion. The US Census Bureau says that there's going to be at least one hundred million more human beings one hundred million more persons coming into America in the next fifteen years, one hundred million, and the first three years Biden it was eleven million came in three years, and it's accelerating. This isn't putting a cap on it. And I like to know what the city. I like to know what the inquir thinks about sanctuary city status and
that somehow the city of Cincinnati could double in population. Hamilton County has about eight in one thousand residents and that's why Boone County and Kent County, Warren County is succeeding. People are moving out of Hamilton County. They can't take it anymore. And the reason they're moving out is the governance in Hamilton County. And secondly it's the expenses and the cost and the city of Cincinnati is teetering. One can only imagine if Melissa Powers loses the prosecutor's office and a
George Sourrow's funded Democratic liberal progressive like County pillag becomes the prosecutor. How does that change the city? You spent many years in the prosecutor's office and as a judge, how does that change the city? Overnight? So overnight, you know again because since Melissa Powers is taken over, and as you know, the judiciary has changed significantly in Hamilton County. Now we have a majority of liberal activists judges that are on the bench and they are setting low inappropriate
bonds. What's you know, Melissa Powers in the Prossecutor's office is constantly fighting for They're overturning these old, decade old cases like Elwood Jones and so, you know, without someone like Melissa Powers in that place, because quite frankly, she's having to appeal more cases for the first district courts appeals you know, and then eventually onto the Ohio Supreme Court. And if we don't have someone there fighting for these cases, you know, one of the Soros issues
is is don't they don't believe in prosecuting property crimes. We see these smashing grabs going on and all these other you know, cities around the country. Well, you know, I guarantee and Melissa Powers is going to prosecute property crimes if they stop doing that. You know, every single store in the city and the county is going to close and move to Warner Butler County where they're going to prosecute these crimes. And according to this story by Kevin Allreach,
he says, January sixth was an attack on our democracy. Attack on democracy. How about what's happening on the southern border. How about the ability of citizens to go to get a quality public education. How about the smashing grabs happening in every major city, and like New York City, they treat a CoP's face and head like a soccer football. And then those in charge
of bond let those mis grants leaving immediately. The crime rave wave among the illegals is off the charts with the murders, the rapes, and the robberies and the drunk driving. It's crazy. Now, that's an attack on democracy. And what happened on January sixth was a damn riot that got out of
hand. It was a riot that should not have happened. And the one to two hundred who organized it and engaged in bad behavior should be prosecuted, but not the other one thousand languishing in jails in DC who simply trespassed, tackling democracy. It's happening all the time in America in Democratic party circles, but it's never put that way. According to Kevin Aldry, She says our future is dependent upon electing leaders with principles of honesty, integrity, Transparency.
Is Joe Biden transparent? Is Joe Biden keeping classified documents? Purposefully committing crimes? But given an el paso because he's not mentally competent, I would say, Russell Mark, if the president is not mentally competent to sand trial, he's not mentally competent to me the president. How about asking that question, Kevin Aldridge, Does that make sense? Russell? Absolutely? You know, one of the bedrocks of our democracy, Willie, as you know, is
the rule of law. And there's just you know, we we are at war, you know, at the federal, state, and local level over this. And you know, when you get policies, you know, I'll give you the example. Our current sheriff has a policy well she and it's it's in writing. She has directed her people when someone has been is being booked into the Justice center, been charge of the crime, they are not
allowed to ask them their immigration status and Why is that important? Because when that happens, if they don't know they're not required to contact ICE, and then ICE doesn't know that we have them here, and then what happens even further is then she's refusing to put holders on these people again. So here are these woke policies that are you know, that are seeping into law enforcement and the rule of law. And you know, we're we're getting what we're
going to deserve. We keep putting people like this back in office. The last sentence of this editorial against Jews says, quote, mock, that's you,
mock. Should remember one undeniable truth. Silence speaks volumes. How about the silence of the inquiry about the incompetence of Joe Biden and the mental incompetence of his entire administration and the fact that he's spent on vacation most of his presidency, and that the two things that destroy this country are the southern border collapse of the invasion and secondly, borrowing about six billion dollars every day in brand new money to pay for things we don't need, when one third of
that money simply pays interest on the national debt. If Tony Bender is over his eyeballs in debt. The last thing to do is take out a new credit card and maxed that out quickly to pay the interest on the other credit cards. That is unsustainable. And for the inquire to be silent, speaks volumes Russell Mack. I'll give you the give you the stage for one final comment. Well, and I'm not going to be so I'm not going to
be silent, Lily, and I know you're not silent about it. You know, it's time for Republicans to take back our own voice, you know, when we allow the media to drive the narrative in these cases and continually, you know, drive us away from the issues that we really need to be talking about. Of course they don't want us to talk about it,
but I'm going to continue to do it. And when I when I see things like this, that's unfair, uh, you know, ask the same questions at the same sure, either fair or tough questions of both sides, you know, And if not, then I'm not going to be silent. One might ask if Biden is reelected and I continue to believe he's not going to be the candidate, because every week or so it becomes more mentally incompetent.
But if if he does become the candidate the Democratic Party in August and gets re elected, Kamala Harris is going to be the president at some point. Because for seven, seven hundred and forty times the mainstream media when Trump was in office talked about imposing the twenty fifth Amendment ABC, NBCCBS, MSNBC, CNN, so many other websites, the pages of the editorial. We need a mental examination of Donald Trump, which by the way, he took
and passed. But Biden won't even take it because you wouldn't pass it. But we need to know if Kamala Harris is going to be the president. When you vote for Joe Biden, you get Kamala Harris. I might ask a Democrat, you think Kamala Harris's performance as vice president warrants a promotion of the presidency. What would democrats? Democrats say no to that. In fact, seventy percent of Democrats don't want Joe Biden to become their nominee. How
about this number, eighty six percent of the American people. You can't get eighty six percent of the American people to agree that. Today's Tuesday, eighty six percent of the American people say that Joe Biden is not mentally competent to service president. Eighty six percent say that, according to ABC News, eighty six percent, Russell Mock, how about asking Democrats whether they're with the eighty six percent they say this president is not mentally confident. How about asking that
question, Kevin Aldridge? Does that make sense to you, Russell Mock. I couldn't agree with you more. You know, and Vice President Harris is you know, her approval rating's RI even lower, even lower than than Joe Biden. And then you know they're going to ask for a mental evaluation, they should probably get two for one and get one on her as well. Well. When she ran for president, she received a total of zero, zero delegates and zero votes, and she was selected because of her race and
gender, not because of her competency. She spent years in San Francisco as the law director and years as the Attorney General in California. What kind of job did she do in San Francisco, one might ask, But I can't ask that question. That would be improper. But once again, Russell Mock, thank you for defending yourself against this defamation by the inquiry and we'll see where it goes from here. But I think the people have figured this thing
out. So Russell, good luck to you and we'll see what happens. Thanks, Realie, thanks for having me on. Thank You's Russell Mock, the chair of the Hamlet County Republican Party. I could put together some questions to ask these damn democrats. I'd like to ask a few questions Kevin Aldridge, if you'd let me, Let's continue with more of Bill Cunningham News Radio seven hundred WLW.
