Check. That's the check that you enter it now, Bill Cunningham, the Great America, welcome this warious Tuesday afternoon in the Tri States Promiera. Later will be Julie Gunlock on the Independent Women's Forum about how to handle it if your son and daughter comes to you and says, mommy, I want to transition to some other gender, one of the one hundred and five different genders.

What do you do as a parent with that situation? Plus another ugly thing's happening in Ohio about thirty percent of the public school kids are chronically absent from school. She will address herself to that, but until then. Orlando Sanza is the Republican candidate for Congress against Greg Landsman, who spent many years on city council. He pictures himself one way in the district, then another way in Washington, and Orlando's written a rather interesting column calling him out on

that. Orlando, you're the Republican nominee for the first congressional district I think for the first time to the Bill Cunningham Show in Orlando, will you tell the American people what your column is about and how many Democrats are one way in the district then another way in Washington. That's right, Bill, Thanks so much for having me. It's great to be on your show. Listen.

The crux of my op ed is that we seem to have problem creators and not problem solvers, self proclaimed problem solvers in Washington, and Greg Landsman is one of them. Here is a guy that professes to be a problem solver on a bipartisan problem solvers caucus. He ran on a platform for putting American families first, but yet he goes to Washington and he does the complete opposite. He creates problems, exacerbates problems for the people of the first District,

and that actually does not put American families first. What's the prime example, Well, this whole speakership debacle that unfolded, you know two to three weeks ago, where we have a vacuum and a void now in Congress without a Speaker of the House because we ousted Speaker McCarthy. We have effectively shut down our US House representatives from actually doing the serious work that the American people

need them to do. And Greg Lansman was one of those problem creators when he sided with the eight extreme Matt Gates and his seven crew to oust McCarthy and then effectively closed down Congress. It was Landsman and the rest of the Democratic Party that created the chaos that we now see unfolding day by day. You know, Orlando, I call Matt Gates is from the Panhanno of Florida

kind of King. Jeffries is the leader of the Democrats in Washington. I call him a King Gates because it is one thing to say, you know, I'm a conservative Republican, but then when you vote with Nancy Pelosi and you vote with a King Jeffries, you're not a conservative Republican. You're a

rhetorical bomb thrower without resolution. I've had on many of the congressmen, spoke to them, and they will freely tell you that we went to the problem solving Caucus and the House of Representatives, of which there's about ten or eleven Republicans, ten or eleven Democrats. Okay, they said, here's a problem. Ninety six percent of Republicans are voting one way. We need some help from you. They go check things out with Nancy Pelosi and Greg Lansman and

others are not going to bail the Republicans out. Am I on the right track here? You hit the nail on the head. We call that hypocrisy, we call that failure of leadership, and the American voters are not going to stand for it. Oh well, we'll see what occurs. But some might say, let me play devil's advocate, as Tony Bender would like. Are you saying that you're anticipating Democrats politically to solve a Republican problem? That's

what Tony Bender would say. Lano Sonza, what do you say, Well, I say this, if you're going to if you're going to be in a group that touts that you're going to be willing to take difficult votes and expend political capital in pursuit of good government, i e. The Problem Solvers Caucus, Greg Lansman, then you should be one of the members of this caucus that actually does that right, because you're putting the good of government and

good governance over personal or political gain. And so if there's one group that squarely should have taken this difficult vote, it was Greg Landsman at all that should have done it. And the other issue, I'm sure that Lansman went to Nancy Pelosia, Keem Jefferies and all the other leaders of the Democrats and

said, look, I'm part of the problem solving caucus. I'm kind of inclined to do this and throw them a bone since obviously the Republicans at some point are going to have a Republican Speaker of the House, you would think, and they probably said to him, if you do that, we're going to primary you, and you're not going to be the nominee anymore. We're going to kick you out of the Democratic Party. Democrats play hardball, and

you Republicans often do not. I could not imagine when Nancy Pelosia came, Jefferies, etc. In charge, that they would allow eight to ten of their own members to get off the reservation and vote with the other side. The Democrats would never do what the Republicans are allowing to be done. How

come the Democrats are more organized than you Republicans. Well, it's interesting that four days after that happened, right, we see a problem of epic proportions unfolded the Middle East, and the fact that we don't have a Speaker of the House causes renders that's effectively neutral or effectively unable to do what we need to do to help our ally in Israel. And what we're seeing unfolding this

just this week alone is the exact opposite. Is now Democrats are willing to go quote unquote across the aisle in order to in order to solve the problem that guess what they created, you know, they created along with Matt Gates. So I don't I don't buy that argument that well, we're not going to fail you out. Well, you're you're looking to do that? Why because your voters are going to you and saying that, look, you got

to fix this. You are equally to blame alongside Matt Gates. And I could see that Greg Lansam is most likely having a call right now and saying that, well, I need to put up or shut up because they're calling me out for for for what I did as we should. Well, no question, now, if you were in the Congress, if you were the first congressional office holder, how would you how would you vote on the issue of giving aid to Israel and tying it with aid to the Ukraine? How

would you vote on that if you were in office? Well, if I was in office, number one, Israel is our strongest Middle Eastern ally and we must support Israel. I stand one hundred percent behind behind Israel, and the fact that you have a Hamas, a terrorist group that is now in lockstep and has been with terrorists supporting countries like Iran, that is a first line of defense. Supporting Israel is a first line of defense for the United

States and the rest of the world in the Middle East. So we should support Israel and the justice that must be pursued for what Hamas has done, the terrible acts of violence they did to women and children, and the innocent must be called for. Now when it comes to Ukraine, right it's a different scenario right now. My position on Ukraine is this that we will not send a single additional dollars to Ukraine unless we've got the accountability and the path

to victory that we need from this administration. And we haven't gotten that, and we continue to not get that. We cannot perpetually send aid to Ukraine with out knowing what the end goal is and the objective is the Lensky continues to come every six months asking for more money, and what we cannot do is continue to give it to him unless we the United States say, listen out, when will this war end? What is your path to victory?

To do it? And guess what. Every dollar that's going to go to it has to be accounted for for how it is, how it is spent, two different ways of dealing with the issues, and that's how I would buy percame and Orlando. So unlike many Republicans and many Democrats who want to tie the things together. In fact, when you look at the breakdown to the one hundred and ten billion dollars, that more money on a credit card

that we're never going to pay off every time there's some emergency. Instead of cutting spending by one hundred and ten billion dollars and then replace it with foreign aid, which many Americans oppose, they simply take out a new credit card in Washington, DC and max out out that credit card and just pay the minimum payments, never paying the principle. And at this point most Democrats and most Republicans want to tied to two together. Why is it a bad idea

to call Ukraine the same as Israel. Well, it's a bad idea, right because we're dealing with two different uh uh formations of threat and uh two different distinct situations. Right. But to your point that this this problem that we have of continuing to spend and spend and spend and raising our debt ceiling,

continuing to raise our deficit. Is also this problem that our quote unquote problem solvers are not actually to actually seeking to to to solve, right, is the one of the first primary steps is we have to go to a balanced budget. We have to go to a balanced budget because that's what we expect our American hard working families to do for their for for their household finances.

And so when we send our representative to Washington, guess what there do we expect them to do the same thing, you know, because it's our tax dollars that we're sending to them. That's right. Pavey Ramaswami has had a speech last night in New Hampshire. I don't know if you studied it, but with Vivey Grama Swami as say next graduate says we should re evaluate US membership in the United Nations and scale back our involvement in NATO. Is

that something Orlando Sanza believes in or not? Well, this is my first time hearing you know what what what vek Ramaswami said last night, So I can't comment to the specifics. I don't know what he said, but uh, again, my position is from from the global perspective that we as Americans have to stand strong and solid against the on the international stage to show that we our we are uh not only the beacon of Pope, but we are

the strong America that they all know is true. So when it comes to supporting our allies, yes, we support our allies, but not at the expense of our own American people and those that are working hard day in and day out here within our own borders. Now, Orlando, lastly, tell the American people I see in your resume you spend time in the military, also in the prosecutor's office. Tell the American people give them a brief notice

to what you've done in the past. You're running against Greg Lansman as a Republican in the first district. Tell the American people your background. Yeah, you know. I'll tell vote as I've told voters this that you have the ability for a stark contrast here between our current unseerious member of the House representators claiming to represent us in Greg Lansman, who has rendered a poor return on

our investment for a US congressman. But instead what voter is going to be able to do is vote for a serious, qualified represented for US Congress that's been not just the former military officer in the US Army, a West Point graduate, a CPA, an attorney, a former prosecutor, but one that's

going to be able to bring back a positive return on investment. Well, what dom I mean by that the complex issues that we see impacting the nation and especially the First District, from the economy and how inflation is wreaking havoc on our wallets, to the fentanyl crisis that we see here in the First District, to how parents' rights are under attack, our education is poor. Those are complex issues that require someone that's got a qualified, very background of

a problem solver. And that's been my life story from all of these issues that I just seek to go into an issue, identify the problem, and help solve it. And that's what I'm aiming to do, going to Washington, fighting for the American family and solving these problems. Sounds good to May Orlando Sanzo. What is your website if any of people want to get involved in your efforts, Yes, Orlando Sabz Orlando your favorite place in Florida Sonza

dot com. This train is just starting to move please jump on board. We need all the support we can get to take down Greg Lanson and make him a one term congressman. You know, lastly i'd say this. I was with you last night in Warren County and most of Warren County is in Greg Lansman district. He's a left wing radical Democrat who says one thing here

than a different thing there. And to have Warren County, the good folks in Warren County, the foreign Shells and the pat Souths and so many others to Dave Young's represented by a liberal Democrat as somewhat outrageous and hopefully you can find some political support in Warren County and also on the west side of Cincinnati. Orlando Sonzo, once again, thanks for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. With your permission, we'll do it again. Thanks so much, Bill,

Thanks for having me. Well, let's continue with more if a line becomes available. Five win, three seven, four nine, seven pounds seven hundred. The new AT and T getting ready of course for the Bengals on Sunday in San Francisco. They were softened up last night and another loss. They've lost two in a row since they hammered the Dallas Cowboys. So I think the Bengals. Bengals are picking up on the forty nine Ers at the right time. They've had the week off and forty nine Ers last night had

a terrible, terrible effort and they lost another game. Bill Cunningham, the Great American with you every day. You're home of the Bengals. News Radio seven hundred WULW. And it's time for an afternoon sandwich. It's time for Chester shead cheese. Chester's head cheese is packed with choice chunks of brain, eye, ear, and flesh. Chester s heead cheese the perfect choice for listening to Eddie and Rocky. Head cheese is an excellent source of antioxidents.

Eddie and Rocky are an excellent source for local issues. One of the kind of interviews had fun times Eddie and Rockey this afternoon at three on seven hundred WLW. Are you a business owner, CEO or responsible for marketing if you are increasing numbers because the issues become more serious. We collect many more thousands of listeners in the Tristate and also around the world, and I want to think many that I have listening in Israel right now on the iHeartMedia app.

Some of whom I met in May, and many of whom I didn't, and the fear that they're feeling right now in Tel Aviv headline and Drudge report Hamas rockets target tel Aviv, USA ready's mass evacuations from the Middle East, and Iran plans to ramp up its attacks, and blinking warns, we will defend Israel and if you have us sent something bad, it's about to happen,

which I noted just in my bones several months ago. I think you're correct unless somehow Hesbelah and a Moss stand down, a Moss releases two hundred plus hostages, which to them are worth their weighting gold. And that's somehow Moss and Hesbela put down their weapons, and Iran quits fueling terrorism. If all those things happen, something ugly may not occur. Assuming those things continue, the Israelis at this point have added up to hear with Hamas and Hasbillah

terrorism. They can't take it anymore. Over the last few days, you may be aware that there are some especially the useful idiots on college campuses, are saying that the Israelis are making it all up, that somehow babies were not beheaded, and that somehow that the Israel is making it up, that the torture that many have seen did not transpire, did not take place, and that it's propaganda by the Jews. Once again, the Jews are doing

it. The Jews are responsible. And so over the last two nights, the IDF has invited in the journalists themselves, who might say, wait a minute, you're making stuff up, to come in and you're going to have to see for yourself what we see. And so that's what's happened at this point. The last two nights there have been forty five minutes, two separate presentations of what happened in these camps, these kibitzers in and around the gaza's

strip. And so they basically showed the video in the filming of the slaughter of innocence to the worldwide journalistic base and for those who are interested. Guy Benson, who's with Fox News, has written a column at townhall dot com in which I can use some of the language, I can't use most of it because it is so disgusting that the IDF Israeli authorities thought, okay, you claim these events did not take place, so heinous that we'll show it

to you. Pro Palestinian forces were openly justifying and celebrating the jew butchery as

it was going on. Depravity continued for many, many hours, and the IDF, because some of the terrorists were killed, had access to some of the video, not all the video, and they had to refute the argument that they were making it up. So the Israelis got together a screening, and what I can share with you is that the faces on the journalist, the commentators, the news media organizations, they gasped and they closed their eyes. They can't take it. So there was a bunch of whitewashing of what

was happening. So they said, okay, we'll put together forty five minutes and two separate screenings only some of which I can share with you verbally, most of which I cannot. It was routine on October seventh for families to be roped together. The mother and the father were put in hand ties behind their back, and then the children. They were thrown to the ground,

to the dirt, and the children were put on top of them. Then they took rope and tied the family together into a bundle and set them all on fire, one at a time, and watch them burn mother, father, and in one case two little girls appeared to be toddlers and a boy about seven years old. In another Hamas act, two spinal cords, one belonging to an adult, one to a baby, seemingly a parent and a child were bound together by metal wires and a final embrace before they were set

on fire, and the filming of this was the taping. The video was taken by the Amas terrorists as they were shouting God is great, Ala Okbar. Volunteers were sought all over Israel to come and do some of the scientific work done to try to identify the faces of the terrorists. There were one hundreds of journalists and photographers from media all over the world who were sitting in the movie theater last night and the night before, gasping, and many left

after about fifteen or twenty minutes they couldn't take it anymore. There were many, many women and children, females who were raped so viciously their pelvic bones were cracked, and this was shown to the journalist, This was shown to the photographers and one audio, one of the Hamas murderers yelled to his father on a cell phone. Father, father, I killed ten Jews, check your what's up? App? I sent you the photos. Father, I

killed ten Jews a la allah acbar. And there was more gross things that happened, especially to the women that I cannot relate on this radio station in the afternoon, and the video goes on and on and on and on and as the journalist and commentators left on Sunday night Monday morning, they were asked if they wanted to see more, and the answer was no, We've seen

enough. Amas militants were told by their commanders to behead Israelis, use their heads like bowling balls around the camp and cut their feet off and the torture went on for hours. Can you imagine if your mother, your daughter, your sister, your father, your brother was killed in this fashion while crying Allah akbar, God is great, God is good and militants in their twenties. Also describes how Amass used social media to share all over the Middle East

results of their handiwork. There were many, many babies who were decapitated without a head, and one of the journalists said, well, there's no proof who took the heads off. That's kind of the indication of how deep the hatred of the jew Is in the Middle East. So when Joe Biden and others are asking the Israeli army to delay the inevitable, don't do it.

Let's see if diplomacy can take a positive turn. You're facing with a population that is saying, at this point, we've had enough, We've seen your handiwork. We do not want our children and grandchildren that survived to live under the threat of Amas and hesbal any further, that's it. Beheading, of course, is a means and method of death used by Boca, Haram,

al Qaeda, Taliban, AMAS and Isis. Danny Pearl comes to mind, because it is thought by some of these Islamic terrorists that if you decapitate the head from the body, that person cannot go to heaven. So that's why it's done. And this went on for many, many hours in shock and the hostages that were taken. According to one media account, AMAS terrorist murderers barbarians were paid up to ten thousand US dollar dollar for each hostage they could

bring back to the tunnels in Gaza. So that's why there was some effort to take the young and the old back who could make it there to use his bargaining chips that is the enemy that Israel is now facing. So when I can only imagine if Americans were subjected to this by some force in Canada or Mexico, how are US Army and the Marines would respond immediately? Excuse

me immediately. But because of the actions of Joe Biden, he wants to restrain the Israelis from doing what must be done, which is to wipe Hamas off the face of the earth. Civilization cannot survive under this kind of a barbaric act. We can't survey and imagine if Hamas or Hesblah was given a nuclear weapon by North Korea or by Iran, what would happen then, any doubt in your mind where it would be set off in downtown Tel Aviv immediately.

And that's what we have to fight. So when I hear at the University of Cincinnati and maybe dozens of other college campuses signs that say there's no both sides on a genocide, Zionism is terrorism. One sign says kill the jew We're left for the situation a time of choosing as Americans with what side

do we take sides? And the answer is the one only democracy in the Middle East, the small, little country of Israel, who's fighting at times two hundred and fifty Muslim Arabs who are committed to their absolute death and destruction, headed up by the head of the snake, which is Iran, who's fund of terrorism. These are religious leaders that fund the beheading of babies and the bundling together of young families and setting them on fire like cords of wood.

That's what we're dealing with. So I understand it's been what two and a half weeks, three weeks is coming up, and IDF is ready to go, but Joe Biden is saying, don't do it. We make it out a few more hostages. And right now Hamas is playing us like a fiddle, and Joe Biden is dancing to the tune on a beach somewhere in Delaware. So we'll see what happens. There's no moral equivalents, should be no moral confusion when it comes to Israel. You're either with the good or

with the evil. You're with the right, you're with the wrong. And it is sick and sad that we have large numbers of individuals on college campuses as blind, dumb, befuddled fools that are supporting radical Islam. Terrorism and

extremism that is spreading like wildfire. And I would imagine this weekend the University of Cincinnati will once again have some pro Palestinian demonstration and I would hope the administration would respond forcifully to those who have diary of the mouth and they support the mass rape of women and girls and the beheading of babies and more. And if there's any question, any doubt, you may talk to the two thousand journalists who saw the videos put together by Hamas itself. They wanted their

handiwork to be spread around the world. They wanted you to see this, They wanted you to hear this other forms of execution. I have difficulty relating in an audio sense on the radio. Other worst things happened to women than what I just described. And how you can get thousands and thousands of college

students to march in support of Hamas. And one last point in my life, I've had the pleasure of knowing many, many great Muslims, one or two I did business with, nothing wrong, everything right about them, patriotic, god fearing, family oriented, No question, there has been reticence in pointing out in the Islamic community those among them who are savages and barbaric.

There's no difficulty in the so called Christian communities when the ku Klux Klan takes the Cross of the Christ and sets it ablaze to further their goals of racism and anti Semitism and anti Catholic thoughts, that is routinely roundly prohibited and barred. Don't do it. That doesn't represent Christianity any more than the barbaric savages,

and a Moss represents the mainstream of Islamic thought. For Muslims listening, and I'm sure I have several thousand, I do not hold you responsible for the conduct of these medieval savages any more than you should hold me accountable for the Christian beliefs held by members of the Ku Klux Klan. In Christianity, for decades, we've roundly rejected the idea that the Klan represents Jesus Christ.

Now they continue to hold onto that notion. So be it. Do what you're gonna do, think what you're gonna think, believe what you're gonna believe, but don't hurt someone else. That is not the case with a Moss and has Bela and Islamic jihad and the Taliban and Al Qaida and Boca Haram and isis Muslim brotherhood. It is a virulent side, a slice of Islam captured by the Iranian government and the religious leaders that could destroy the world as

we know it. Israel two words, never again. If those one hundred thousand rockets, some guided some not are released all simultaneously from Lebanon and fall down tens of thousands on Israeli cities, killing one or two million Jews, the Jewish state will say never again. They will launch against cities in Iran. Who is truly the head of the snake, And then the adults need

to get together quickly and say it's got to stop right there. Pray to God that the Chinese armed forces heading toward the least supported by China in North Korea, do not respond inappropriately to the Seventh Fleet, because then all bets are off and we don't have to worry anything more about tea bills and treasuries and high prices at Kroger. We're going to have much more serious difficulties to consider. If I was on the radio in early nineteen thirty nine, at

that point this station was like sixteen years old. We were hoping somehow that the Nazis and that Adolf Hitler would not march having taken this at eight Land, Hopefully he will not march into Poland on September the first, nineteen thirty nine. This thing will calm down. Evil seeks more evil, good people seek the light. And Adolf Hitler put the world into the abyss, from

which about sixty five million human beings were killed. And I pray to God we'll look forward on this October twenty twenty three and say that was the start of World War three. Pray to God it doesn't happen. Well, let's continue with more. Whenever stop, we simply continue signs all over college campuses. Keep the world clean, Kill the Jew. Did you ever think that

would happen in this country? Absolutely not. The leadership of these colleges and universities must adequately respond to say that anti Semitism, supporting the activities of those who would skin women alive are not going to be voiced on this campus. Now, you may do that, but you can't do it at the University

of Cincinnati. Can't do it here, do it somewhere else. Because hate speech is protected by the First Amendment, but doesn't mean you can be on a college campus advocating killing Jews, raping Jewish women, and beheading Jewish babies and get away with it. Not on my watch, ought to be the leadership of each college university. There is no moral equivalence between Israel and a moss or between Israel and Russia. There's no moral equivalents. Please well,

let's continue. Coming up after one o'clock today will be Jennifer Shack of the Archdiocese of Cincinnati, She's the communications director. After two o'clock today will be the Great Julie Gunlock of the Independent Women's Forum and more. And later on we'll be a retired Army officer mayor going to talk about the event on Data Heaven Cemetery at two pm on Saturday, which will be the fiftieth anniversary of the date that soldiers left to Vietnam for the last time. Of course,

many remain in spirit. Let's continue with more twelve to fifty five homi year Bengals News Radio seven hundred WOLDO. You can relive the greatest moments from our twenty twenty three iHeartRadio Music Festival streaming on. Then Jennifer Shack, who spent many years in local media as now in charge of communication for the art Diocese of Cincinnati, the Archbishop, et cetera. And Jennifer Shack Welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Jennifer, how are you? Oh good?

Thanks for having me on Bill. Nice to talk to you again. Before we get started, was there what was the reason you left television journalism to work for the archdiocese or was it a calling? What was the reason? Well, I had spent fifteen years in television broadcasting and I loved my time. I'd done a couple of cities, I'd done meteorologists by study, I'd

done reporting. I really enjoyed the storytelling of reporting. And at the end, I was on my third pregnancy, I was having my third child, and I really felt like the voice of the church was not being represented in the public media as well as it should. And so I specifically left hoping to work for the church and to take media skills that I had learned to work for the church. And I've been blessed to be here now for five and a half years, so it's been a I'd say maybe it was a

calling. As you said, all right, let's move on to issue one in Ohio. The ads put together by Planned Parenthood, which is a multi billion dollar business, and business is good for them because of all the government subsidies and all the other contributions they receive are very good. If I was a normal person, just a slept living my simple life in a good way,

I would look at these slick ads of Catholics. I'd look at these evangelical ministers all encouraging me as a voter to approve State Issue one, which is unbridled abortion from the moment of conception through birth or maybe beyond birth. I'm not sure how far it goes. Plus the ancillary matters of gender rights that parents ought to have some involvement if their teenage boy or girl wants to

switch genders, and this would probably foreclose even prineral involvement in that. So can you give me the two or three reasons why an American maybe even someone is agnostic or someone that's an atheist, or someone that doesn't really believe, why they should vote no State Issue one. I mean, as you stated to begin with, the other side seems gates open wide available to be very misleading. They seem very purposeful in the language they've chosen for this amendment,

and so you know, why should what should people be doing? And they should be reading the amendment themselves and educating themselves on what the actual language is that's Article one, section twenty two as it would be written in the Constitution. But also read the ballot language that you'll actually be reading at the when you go to the board of election or when you go to your polling location to vote. Those two variations of language will give you clues into the specific

legal language that's going to open the door to their kind of hiding. You know, they're working behind the language, the legal language, and so people need to be very aware that the other side has crafted the wording in such a way that it's easy to be misled, it's easy to be confused. You should step in skeptical, wondering what the truth of the situation is, of what they're actually trying to pass, and be open to learning what the

opposition is saying. I'd encourage as well. You know, there's a lot of legal reviews, there's a lot of voices out there of trying to break down the amendment, But I'd encourage each person themselves to find their own source for that information and to learn more about it, and to make sure they understand exactly what they are voting for. It's very common to see even in

public, even in the media, secular media. Right now that I've had to correct several local media outlets that this is an amendment that would make abortion legal. Well that's not true, that's completely false. So you know, it's easy to be misled, and I'd encourage each person to do the research and the work themselves to learn about what they're voting for. It never uses the word woman or mother. Of course, as we know men like me

could have multiple births. We all know that's the case. It never uses the word woman or mother, preferring the gender mandated pregnant patient. And so as far as the others explain, well, the other side is going to say that we're here for women, we're here support women, but women is the word Woman's not even in the amendment. I don't understand how you can be so standing on that side when it doesn't even include it in the language

of what you're pushing for. So this does say every individual, So by using the word individual has a right to make their own reproductive decisions. An individual could be a miner, It could be a woman, It could be a man. Reproductive decisions could be pregnancy, could be, contraception could be possible gender association of where they want their gender to be, so that that language is very specific. What about parental rights if we're talking about miners.

If we're talking about miners, has the right to their own reproductive decision? Does that mean a twelve year old has a right to an abortion at the hands of another adult helping them that's not their parent. These things need to be assessed, and you need to recognize, you know, as a person of goodwill, which you know each person does, I hope want the best for their community. As a person who wants a just in good society.

What would be the best for not only yourself, but for your community and for the youth in your community, for the other parents in your community, to make a decision, for the state of Ohio and what Ohio for families and for women especially. I want to be really clear that the work of the church, for the Catholic Church, has always been to support women.

So we've put our money and put our efforts and put our work in our ministries towards pregnancy centers family care centers, respect life ministries, dozens of ministries across the archdioces that support families and women facing unplanned pregnancies. We've been doing that for decades, and the work of the church today right now and opposing this amendment is another way that we are working to help those women and to

help families. And so we've been very clear about our efforts to encourage people to vote. Know, the Archbishop has been very vocal about this, and you know, we're not stepping back from making sure that this is at least brought to the attention of everyone what this amendment would actually do to hurt women and to hurt families and to leave children vulnerable in so many areas. Jennifer Shock on the issue of the word health. One of the slick commercials now

being run is a white guy appears to be about forty years old. He's staring at the camera. He's got three little children, appears to be two or females that are of tender years, and he wants to make sure that his children have the opportunity I guess to kill his grandchildren. But can you say what is health? Because when I think of health or Tony bender thinks of health, it's about whether a woman's going to live or die. Now, obviously, if a woman's life is at risk if she has the pregnancy,

that's a life in being. That is different. But explain how the term health is communicated in the amendment one way, which is differently than the people who might vote for it believe in it. Right. So Article one, paragraph three, the final part of it, says that if it's necessary to protect the pregnant patient's health or life or health. Now, if the sense would have ended with life, we would yes, we all completely agree.

It is absolutely always necessary to protect the pregnant patient's life. But when they add or health. Health is already defined under case law in a case in nineteen seventy three Doe versus Bolton and Georgia about abortion, and when it comes to abortion, the word health is more broadly defined than what many would probably think. That would mean that you could end a pregnancy based on a

woman's health. And a health could be their physical health, their emotional health, their psychological well being, or even their age, and so a doctor and a patient together could decide. A woman could say, I feel like I'm too old to have this baby. I feel like I'm psychologically compromised, and we do not think I can have this baby. And we're talking about that's past the point of fetal viability, that a patient could work with their

healthcare provider on a case by case basis. That's other language that's used in the amendment, that this will be determined on a case by case basis, that they could use health for a myriad of reasons to end the pregnancy up until the moment of birth. So as long as you were pregnant, you could end it, which means you could be pregnant eight months and three weeks and be due next week, but still cite that you think you need to end this pregnancy and that would be protected. So this is not a law

we're talking about either. We're not discussing laws around abortion at all. We're discussing the constitution of the Ohio of Ohio, so a foundational document of what the rights will be that will then later determine what laws could be, so they won't be able to make laws to limit it once it's in this constitution. Really disturbing the level that they want to take this At a case constitutional level for Ohio, they will not be able to be undone if this passes.

And why why are the ads so strong on one side? Am I use the term a week? On the other, the planned parenthood side has twenty to thirty million dollars. They are the best and the brightest. And now here comes the pro life side and you're limping along like a Union soldier coming back from Antietam with every land bloody. And I mean, I take your outside perspective. I mean I'm on the inside to know, like a lot of hard work and a lot of labor, and a lot of door

knocking and a lot of concerned people reaching out to us saying. I mean I'm getting calls from non Catholic saying I'm opposed to this. I know the Catholic Church is opposed, and you guys are vocal. So what are you doing that I can help? You? Know there are people who are coming away, so I'm interested in your your thoughts. I mean, it's obvious that we're out numbered in terms of finances, so that's yeah, I mean,

I want more money. It's coming into Ohio from outside the states to try to get this passed, and it's disturbing, but we can't control that. So what are we faced with is doing the best we can to inform people locally. There's money directly being We did have a special collection in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati that was optional for parishes to give directly to protect women in Ohio, which is the funding for the main conglomerate opposing this amendment that we've

been funding as well. The archdiocese has donate money to as well. And so you know, I'm still coming back to mentally thinking through that. Does it feel from your perspective that just wildly outmatched. Yes, I mean yes, it does. Yes. So when I'm on you're in the inside, I'm looking at it. I see this great ad out of Columbus with this Protestant minister talks about it. I've often counseled women and families to get the

government out of your life. And when it comes to the most personal decision of your life, which is to kill your unborn baby who's healthy, it is up to you to make that decision and not government. And it gives like religious approval for abortion, and it's said that it's like two to one, three to one, four to one on one side, So it's up to each voter to become literate. That's the challenge. Yeah, the devil is slick in a person's ear, and the willingness to go along with mainstream

and what seems popular is the work of evil. I mean, I just you know, it's always going to be an uphill battle, I think when you're talking about the Christian culture, Christian life and another example that here playing out in politics obviously. But you know, I can only say that I do feel really confident and we will have done everything we can in the terms of the Communication Office of the archdiocese, putting our efforts behind it to the

extent obviously legally able to. So it's it's you know, we in addition to the work of communicating and informing, we began this effort with a fifty four day rosary novena that we started back in mid September that each day we've been praying through a Saints Intercession with a rosary each day leading up to election

day, and that's across the entire state of Ohio. So we organized it locally and offered it to every diocese in Ohio and have upwards of I think about twenty to thirty thousand people daily praying that who have signed up for those

emails. The Archbishop and his original letter to the faithful on August twelfth about this initiative, you know, his number one request was for people to pray for the defeat of the amendment and for the protection of the dignity of life for all people of Ohio and people faced with this, in addition to the advocacy and informing themselves, in informing families, et cetera. No Jennifer Shock.

Lastly, I would say this that when the Archbishop Dennis Sneer had the statement read, there was some who said, and I'm not one of them, but some who said the archbishop ought to stay out of politics, and that there was some prey, one mask that was verbally undressed by a parishion or angry that the archbishop would get involved in issues like this when it's politics. How would you respond to those who say, you know, archbishops say,

on your side of the fence, separation of church and state. I'll say, on my side of the fence, how would you respond, I mean, a separation of church and state is actually not even applicable. It's a nice phrase that you can use that people think that they can use to say the church should be quiet and matters that bother them. But the reality of the teaching of the Christian life and the reality of what Jesus came to do is he came to start something new, and he came to be He

knew what he was bringing was contentious. And the work of a Christian is to bring about changes in a culture for the good of people. And so it's uncomfortable, I know for people to see the church taking a strong stance and something that is so controversial. And I also would like to just be really clear that I don't we all want to diminish people's difficult difficulties they've faced

or difficulty difficulties they've encountered around the issue of abortion. So the church is not here to lord over what the right thing to do is or to tell them what to do. Each person votes in their own conscience, but at the same time to inform people so they can vote in good conscience right, but also to be here to walk with people and their understanding of the issue,

to walk with women who are facing unplanned pregnancies. We're not here to be in your face and to be trying to be contentious about this, but we do want people to recognize that we're very clear in our belief around this, and we're very open to supporting women and walking with them and providing resources. And that's part of this journey as well. So it's not just about

the voice of vote. No, it's about the reason to vote. Know is because of the love and support we have for women and families in Ohio. Thank you, Jennifer Shock, communication director of ours Diocese of Cincinnati read it. What is the website to which I can direct the American people to get more literate as to what this amendment would do and not do? What

is the website? There's a very clear website. Where does it say that dot com that website will go through the amendment and break it down, offer some video and print resources as well, and direct you to other other means of learning about the amendment? So where where where does it say that dot com? Well, the truth will set you free and we get the government we deserve. And at some point that often concerns me, and so thank

you for what you're doing. Thank you for being a voice to people to inform them about this amendment and the important to the importance of learning about it. So we appreciate that killing unborn, healthy babies is not a good look. It's not good, it's wrong, and it must be stopped. And as far as rape and incests and that stuff, there's still a baby created. But nonetheless, maybe there's one percent of a borders have rape and and

says the great majority of our killing healthy unborn babies in the womb. That becomes a tomb, and that's a problem. That's all right, Jennifer Shock. We'll see what happens in a couple of weeks. But once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. Thank you, Jennifer, thank you. Let's continue with more. That's the communications director for the Ars Diocese. Yeah, we'll have Andy Mack come in here and he's gonna break it down. We're gonna break it down team by team. Eight to z plus coming up tomorrow at one here to celebrate soccer. Yeah, great. Jeff Birding will be here with the Shield, one of the master minds of FC Cincinnati will be here. It's like the Roger Goodell

Can he run for city council again? No, okay, I can't do untlive in the city, I don't think. Okay, but he did run, believe it or not, in one Now, a Republican elected in the city is kind of like a Dodo bird. That's for sure's extinct. Who's this Tom Emmer guy. He's from Minnesota, as you know, the home of the Golden Gophers and the

Twins, the North Stars. It's going to take those eight radicals to go along with it. So who knows? We're in a crisis right now, I mean complete crisis. Who would have thought the Republicans Republicans would be this messed up. Usually it's the other end, Well, Democrats are messed up. Orders once say that I belong to no organized political party. I'm a Democrat. That guy on CNN's is speaking right in front of Will Rogers's statue

Will he get a kick in the butt and a watch? He's already gone, But he gets an extra office in the Capitol, which is a big deal.

As the previous speaker, Nancy Pelosi had a case of the gogu when she was no longer the previous speaker got kicked out of her office, and now at this point, Kevin McCarthy is the previous speaker. He's got a secret office, which Bill Clinton would have loved, secret in the US Capitol. Was it right right outside his parking? Sure where it is, But nonetheless, this is embarrassing. You know who they need is a house speaker me J. D. Hayworth. He was strong Washington that day. He saw

him on that subway. The city is it's just one another step in a long series of steps where they embarrass themselves. I think it's an outrage that the city council acted the way they acted. Well, I'm gonna have that guy that he's coming back. He gotta come back. He's coming to the House, make side least the mayor of Cincinnati. Would that be something I say, supreme ally going I don't know what's happen in our city, and we now know second in command Joe Eaters Justice Joe to Justice Joe. But

My lover's a hoe, so we've got to go. I remember that show that was one of your better ones. And finally, my personal favorite, your pimp's a hoe, so you gotta go. S everybody's laughing, but I'd like to see them do six hundred and fifty plus TV show. You get in the plane. Yeah, ligor yeah, twenty five times.

Yeah, see how you do? Yeah, all right, seg Man, We'll see what happens. But uh, after two o'clock today is the Great Julie Gunlock of the Independent Women's Form about Uh is she gonna be Speaker of the House? I take her in a heartbeaty numerous out rages conducted against Israeli women in the silence of liberal females who say nothing about the brutal rape and murder of Israeli females at the hand of barbarians. And she's going to

talk about that in so many other related matters. So we'll see, all right, segment plus we have coming up later as time allows, Colonel Todd Mayer about the anniversary the fiftieth anniversary of the departure of American soldiers from Vietnam at the Gate of Heaven Cemetery at two o'clock on Saturday, with the opening remarks handled by the Great Brad Weinstrip, a soldier, a doctor, and a congressman. So that's coming up in about ten to twelve minutes. Don't

want to miss that. And Colonel Mayer is about two point fifty today. Gond to wrap things up segment, Hit me out of the stude report, please willye and Otter of the Phillies hopefully winning Tonight in Middletown's Kyle Schwarber hits five home runs. Tonight's gonna be wild in Philly. We leave you with the immortal words of the stewed report. Did you hear the moons there when we struck out and then play the game there? No, man, I

lost my hearing, so you didn't hear. I'm gonna answer a stupid question. What is a super question? Can anybody else answer that for him? Anybody that is not me? That was Nick Castiano's talking to somebody. Stupid question, Neck Castellana. This is not friendly with the media. He normally attacks the person asking the question. Neck Castellana has got a big chip on his shoulder the size of a home city ice block. So we'll see what

happens. But I want him to win, I think because the Philly's faithful, or it's just outrageous and the snakes are getting hot. When the snakes are hot, be careful. Segment Thank you for your performance today, Yes,

sir, coming up as Julie Gunlock Independent Women's Form. If you're a woman, if you're a man or somewhere in between, you'll to hear her words all on news radio seven hundred WLW DAL you can relive the greatest moments from our twenty twenty three iHeartRadio Music Festival, extreaming goal misguided students, How did you develop a conservative philosophy? Well, if men and women IWF dot

org spend time there. There's so many articles, so much thinking, dozens and dozens of bright, strong women, every conceivable issues laid out before you. One of the great the leaders there of the IWF Independent Women's Forum is

Julie Gunlock. Julie Gunlock, welcome again in the Bill Cunningham Show. And before we get into great inflation, the state of Oregon a few days ago said that they're going to stop giving proficiencies tests to make sure that an eighteen year old can read and write, because it's unfair to minorities and unfair to immigrant children. Before we get into a mom's guide to parenting trans questioning children, before we get into a darker side of banning gas stoves, I want

to get your perspective on this issue. A few days ago, IDF forces in Israel had the news media come in and the commentators and also photographers and show them the actual videos made by Hamas barbarians, murderers and rapists themselves, in which they did the most despicable things imaginable to men, women and children, beheading babies, etc. And I look in this country, what generally is happening is that the radical left on college campuses and elsewhere are somehow in

support of a Moss and so I guess I'm waiting for the Now Gang and others to say, you know what, we don't favor beheading babies, that we're against raping Israeli women so hard that pelvic bones are broken, and other despicable things done to women that I can't talk about on the radio worse than that. So, Julie Gunlow, give me your perspective on the silence from the radical left in this country about the outrages of a Moss terrorist and Israel,

especially when conducted against women and children. It is absolutely disgusting. The anti Semitism, the Jew hatred that we are seeing in this country, the support for genocidal racists in this country, it is absolutely shocking, and it is so sad that Israel is the only country in the world that has to trot out its dead, it's murdered citizens, and show these go pros and these cell phone videos and these voicemail messages that were left by these murderers to

their families celebrating that they had killed ten Jews, or they had raped ten women, or they had beheaded babies or burned babies and families alive. It is absolutely shocking what the world has come to. And you see this on college campuses, You see this in dark and dark blue cities in America. These are leftists, this is what And look everyone's saying, well, these are just radical leftis No, this is the Democrat Party, this is what.

This is where we're act And if you want to understand why university students are acting this way, you need look no further than the the people who peddled anti racism. These these people who have set up DEI programs within universities. What anti racism and what DEI does is it sorts people into certain categories, the oppressors and the oppressed. And for too long, for to long, those who live in Gaza have been thought of as an oppressed people.

Even though Israel left Gaza in two thousand and five, and then the people of Gaza elected come off and every dime of humanitarian aid that has gone to Gaza has been used to wealth weapons and rockets and ways to kill Israeli Jews. And so it is it is so upsetting to me that we have these rallies. They are in support of Hamas. That is the only solution.

We've seen this in the chance of these people. The only solution. There is only one solution, and that is the eradication of Israel and the eradication of Jewish people. It is an absolute sickness that has taken over our country. But I really am so tired, honestly, Billy of people like Barry White and certain other people on the left, and God bless them for finally

coming, finally coming to their senses. But people on the right, have you, You, for instance, have been warning about this for decades, and now people on the left are just finally waking up to the kind of rot that exists on the left. It is maddening, It is sickening, and we've got a real problem here in this country, and I don't know how it's going to be solved. Jolly gunlock. Even the Nazis and the worst whres they conducted against Jews and Catholics and many others wanted to keep a

quiet and secret. They did not want the indigenous population to know, although I think many Germans did know. They wanted to do that in the darkness, to kill it, to hang the gas to burn. In this case, these Amas terrorists, thousands of them, wanted to record for posterity what they did the Jewish babies and the Jewish women and share that with their own families, saying, look what I've done, Papa, I killed ten Jews. Look at this, and I'm looking at families bound together like bundles of

wood and set on fire. And they filmed it as a matter of courage. That shows you that depravity of what's happening on the radical left. Then you have KJP and others. The presidential Press secretary talk about the biggest problem is Islamophobia and white rage, when really it's the hate on college campuses that must be washed out some jolly gunlock. I know these other issues are important, but what would they do to the Jews in Israel if they had an

atomic weapon? Or well, well, they will annihilate them. They will annihilate them. And the one thing that people have to understand, do you think they're going to stop with the Jews. They're going to come here. They're going to annihilate Americans if they get the chance, they will. And I'm telling you right now, it is absolutely sickens me that some of the people that are marching in these marches on university campuses aren't even American citizens.

A JP Karine John Pierre can can give can give me a break with her defense of this language with first amendments. Ron DeSantis had it right when he said, we need to deport We need to find these students and we need to deport them. And for the American citizens who are marching in these these rallies and saying death to Jews and gas the Jews and eradicate the Jews, they need to be named and shamed, and they need to never enter polite

society or civil society. This is absolutely disgusting and it needs to stop now. And frankly, every single university president who allows this to happen should be out of a job, you know. And I'm so again I have to go back to Laurence Summers and all these people who are in academia suddenly shocked, Oh my god, suddenly just so surprised when they have sat there and built up DEI programs, which were the nurturing grounds of this kind of behavior.

We have allowed leftists to fester in America's higher education, and now the chickens have come home to roost. It just it is really, I don't think people understand what a cultural shift has happened in America. And if we don't get a hold of this, now we're done. It's almost too late. I watched Bill Maher last Friday night to go off on a rant. When you get time, pod that one up. We play parts here and there. Even Bill Maher's figured it out that if you want to be educated,

don't go to college. If you want to be indoctrinated, please go to college. And sadly, almost everyone in the news media today, from the Los Angeles Times to the New York Times and USA Today and all the broadcast networks are from those same Ivy League colleges that view the world through their left wing Marxist It's not liberal, it's not progressive, it's left wing Marxists.

The butchery on the left, whether it's abortion or other issues in the major cities into which men and women cannot walk down the street or leave a soccer game without fear of getting shot or strangled. It's really unbelievable what the

left has done to every major city. And they're producing more and more marching Marxists out of Ivy League schools, out of UCLA, USC Chicago, University of Cincinnati, because they actually believe that skinning women alive and beheading babies and ripping unborn, healthy babies out of a jewy's mother's womb is so proud they want to record it in film it And these journalists that I watched their faces the last few nights and gasp and journal us leaving the showing of these videos.

They don't want to see it. You don't hear much talk anymore about it being a myth accept in the minds of a leftist at the University of Chicago. You know, Billy, we have the most online generation ever. This generation, this generation who is right now in college, is the most online. They have access to more videos and more information, and yet they are turning out to be the most monstrous generation America has ever known. And

as the Samsus said, we can do something with these foreign nationals. We're going to colleges who are who are attending classes on our college CAUs campuses, get them home, ship them out. They have no business being here. But I'm telling you, parents have really got to get a hold of the stuff. You got to understand. There was this horrible video of a young woman tearing down pictures of the kid of the people who've been taken hostage.

Turns out she's Jewish. Can you imagine her parents, grand parents, seeing their own daughter, a young Jewish girl tearing down the victims, tearing down the posters of the Israelis who have been taken hostage by Hamas. I don't know what is happening in this culture. I don't know what has happened. That's not true. I do know what has happened, and I keep going back and forth because I'm in a state of shock. But I will tell

you higher education in the United States is a dumpster fire. Parents have for too long handed their children over to K through twelve and then again handed them over to higher education institutions where they are indoctrinated. It's got to stop. We've got a parenting problem in this country. We've got an education problem in this country. We've got cultural rot in this country, and it's got to be turned around. And Billie, listen, I'm telling you. I've always

listened to you. You're one of my heroes, and you've been on the right side of this and you've been warning the American people for decades. And I appreciate everything you've done to try to warn people that this is happening. Well, it's exposed that it didn't create it and exposed it. We have in this country and a doctrination program that begins almost in kidneygarten. And I know you're on the East coast. I'm in Central I'm in Cincinnati, Ohio.

And I had on the leader of the local school district about a month ago, and I asked her, what's the chronic absentee rate and the Cincinnati

Public schools. The answer is forty nine percent. And then I said, well, and then I read in the state of Oregon they're getting rid of proficiencies tests because so many persons of color are illiterate that you cannot you cannot make public the fact that now I'm not talking about an eight or nine or ten year old, I'm talking about sixteen, seventeen, eighteen year old.

It's not fair to the immigrant population that can't speak of the English or to certain other groups, and they want to get rid of any objective standard. So a person can become literate. And if you're not literate by the time you're eighteen years old, you're likely never to be literate. The chronic absentee in Detroit and Chicago among black males is seventy five percent, and Washington, d C. Close to where you are. I would imagine that's also true.

So we have public education and collapse. We have the lack of ethics and morals and values. We have the generation of social media taught the wrong kinds of things, and parents that are advocated their duties as good moms and dads that pass on the right culture to their kids. And we see it played out when babies are beheaded. The college campuses erupt in support of that agreement. Yes, look and look and layer on top of that. So

we're not getting these kids in education, we're upgrading them. So we tell people, oh, they're fine, they're fine. We shove them through the system, shove them through this. They're utterly unprepared to become contributing members of a society. Okay, but layer on top of that, what is the number one priority of many educational institute public public education. And I shouldn't only just say public. There are plenty of woke private schools. It's DEI.

It's telling these kids that you exist in a damaged, systemically racist society that is pitted against you, and you will never make anything of your life. The American dream is dead. Everybody that you work with, everybody that you come in contact with, judges you by the color of your skin, and

judges you harshly, and you will never rise above this. So on top of not preparing these people, not preparing these students to be contributing members of society, we have created a gigantic chip on their shoulder so that they don't even try. It is monstrous, it is abuse, it is horrible, and it is it is truly a setup for a society that sees other people in society as enemies. It's very, very, very dangerous. And I will also say, you know, you nailed it when you said you know

it's also morally there's such corruption today. Look, the church doesn't have have whatever religion doesn't have as big a role in people's lives. Civil sort of civil engagements and civil clubs and things that people used to join to be a part of that doesn't exist anymore. What does exist is social media. What

does exist are people spreading falsehoods and misinformation. We have in very dangerous times, and you know, I feel, you know, I feel like I tend to be a happy warrior, but boy, I'm kind of down in the dumps at this point. I tell you something else. Here in Ohio, the Planned Parenthood group, which is you know, big business is Planned Parenthood. Billions of dollars we have. The only issue in the entire country

is going to be conducted here in Ohio. It's called State Issue one, which radicalizes killing healthy unborn babies in the womb up through the ninth month. If a woman's health is affected. Now, when I think of a woman's health, I think a life and death or disability, or when the legal system thinks of a woman's health, it's her financial health, it's her emotional health, it's her it's her psychological health. And so anytime you have a

baby, it's going to affect your financial health and your emotional health. And those are excuses to kill healthy unborn babies in the womb. And if the polling is right, Ohio is going to enact the most liberal abortion permission in the state of Ohio. And if the polling is right, forty percent of Catholics are going to vote yes for abortion. Reminds me of those signs I see at the University of Chicago. It says Jews for Hamas. It's like,

what Catholics for abortion and Jews for Hamas? What the hell's going on? What is going on is that people have no anchors anymore. Most of these Catholics probably identify as Catholic and preps. They were born into the Catholic Church press or families or Catholic, but they don't go to Mass. They certainly don't receive any sort of Catholic education, and they certainly don't understand the sanctity of life or have any sort of sense of of when life begins.

We have a very for many people, very shallow understanding the tenants of the Catholic Church, of the Catholic religion, and that it really is very sad. But that is a reality, and the Catholic Church really has to do better about education in this country of its own followers, of its own parishioners. But the great thing is I think there is a revival in the Catholic Church. I mean I go to I go to a very conservative Catholic church

that has a Latin Mass. Now, if you if you want to risk being investigated by the Department of Justice going to the Latin Mass of your luck, that's your choice. Yeah, good luck. But again, you know there there is Our culture really does scourage going to matt being in any way involved. You see and Xavier both in pretty good conferences. That is correct, So we'll see what happens

down the road. But Davior Xavier picked the finish sixth in the Big East. Uh, You see, Bearcats pick the finish eleventh in the Big twelve. If they're lucky, can you get those two players back? I don't know. We have to wait and see it. I would think that the appeals thing is going to happen pretty soon because they start the They start the season like two weeks from now, and they don't play anybody in the beginning anyway. But those kids need to play basketball. That's where you see.

I don't know what they did wrong. They followed NCAA rules and they're not letting them in. I don't get it. I'd let them in. How do you do How do you do that compared to what don't let them play? I have no What are you going to do? Then? What are those kids going to do? Then? I don't know. I mean, what's his crawd? That's what I'm saying, Benjamin, what's his crack? Thank you? Coming up next will be the great Colonel Todd Mayer about how you can commemorate the sacrifice of so many American men and women who sacrificed so much in Vietnam, where the event's going to be the fiftieth anniversary. Let's

Tomorrow morning at five on seven hundred w l W, now you can relive the greatest. Also, great damage was done to my generation of Americans. Negate of Heaven Cemetery in Montgomery's hosting the final I said the final Tri State Salute to Vietnam Veterans This coming Saturday at two PM. Congressman Brad Weinstrip is the keynote speaker.

He's a retired major. You and I now is Todd Mayer, who's a colonel American US Army retired and colonel mayor. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And can you tell Vietnam vets and their families and all who care about the military, what's happening about two o'clock on Saturday this Saturday at the Get to Heaven Cemetery. Yeah, thanks, Willy. So, first of all, we'd like to make sure, you know, folks get there in time to get you know, in seats and you know, bring your own lawn

chair. There'll be some seeding, but it's a little difficult to get in there in part. But you know, we suggest arriving about one point thirty. But as you said, this is kind of the final opportunity, this being the fiftieth anniversary at the end of the war, to reach out and say thank you to these this generation of great Vietnam veterans. You know, I don't think too many of them are going to be around for the seventy fifth, so we do want to take this opportunity, and we got some

great, great events planned. We have a fly over scheduled with Cincinnati orderbirds. We have static displays of the types of uniforms these brave men and women war during that time period. We have a rosary procession at the end of the ceremony to go to the grave of Cincinnati's most decorated Vietnam Vet, Jack Freppin and nineteen sixty six grand of Purcell High School, who earned the Distinguished Service Cross, too purple Hearts, silver Star, five bronze bars for valor,

the Vietnamese Cross of Gallantry. A true hero was killed in action in nineteen sixty nine, and his entire family will be there. But you know, we encourage all veterans from that era to come out and any patriotic American to come out and say thank you. You know what's happening in World War Two vets that's largely concluded. That event concluded seventy five years ago, and there's a few left in their nineties or one hundred years old. But I

can see that after fifty years of the sacrifice with so many vets. It'll be commemorated on Saturday at two o'clock at Get to Heaven. The Warbirds fly over was going to be great fiftieth anniversary. Pins will be available. Service pins will be given to all who serve, open to the public. The weather appears to be in a pretty good order. And one may argue about was it a good thing to do it? Was it a bad thing? In Vietnam? Right or wrong? Good or bad? Right now, Vietnam,

I guess, is more or less a friend of ours. But nonetheless, no one can question the sacrifice and the courage of literally hundreds of thousands of young men and women that served in Vietnam and gave all. All gave some, but some gave all. And that's going to be the commemoration for the final time at two o'clock on this coming Saturday. And Colonel Todd Mayer, why are you so intimately involved in this? And how's these events touched your heart? Well, you know, Willie, I owe a lot to

Vietnam veterans myself. When when I first got on the campus of Xavier University and entered OURGZ program, my mentors, every one of them, the NCOs and the officers there were all Vietnam vets, and I stand on their shoulders now. They they helped me become the officer and service member that I was. And you know, the leadership, the junior leadership in Vietnam won the Gulf War for US. They're the ones that implemented the new strategy globally to

defeat a structure that looked like the Soviet Union. And then they led it. And every one of them from Schwartzkoff on down had that experience that they they brought with them from the Vietnam War. So from a military standpoint, you know, the professionalism that you know the Navy, the Air Force, the Marine Corps, the Army, those junior leadership, the lessons they learned, they brought that forth for a great American victory in the Golf War.

And you would invite this Saturday at two o'clock at Gay to heaven the children, the grandchildren, the moms, the dads, everyone connected. And Congressman brad Winstrips spent about twenty five years in the military. Here's your he's your keynote speaker. He's in the Congress right now this afternoon. Of course, politically, all hell's breaking loose in Washington. And I called earlier today to

get him on a little bit. He's going to come on with me Wednesday or Thursday to talk a little bit about this, but it's the last chance we have. And most of the vets in Vietnam right now are in their seventies and eighties, and for the seventy fifth anniversary, there'll be few, if any left. And once again I want to thank you for your service, Todd Mayor, Colonel US Army retired. The event once again is at two o'clock Gay to Heaven Cemetery this Saturday. Get there early, bring your

lawn chair. Is going to be a great event. And retired Colonel Todd Mayer, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show and get my best to Major Ed Burke. Thank you, will do Willie and have a great rest of your day. Thank you, and thank you for your sacrifice. Let's continue with more NEWSS and next it's your home of the Bengals.
