Willie discusses the House Speaker vote with Congressman Brad Wenstrup, Ohio Issue 1 with Jack Windsor, and the street takeovers with Dan Hils of the Cincinnati F.O.P.

Transcript

Washington, d C. Congressman Brad Weinstrip is a soldier, also a US Congressman, and a doctor and more. But Congressman Brad Weinstrip, I see chaos reigning supreme. According to ABC News, which is never wrong, that there's ten of hard no Republicans no matter what, which means Jim Jordan cannot be elected or selected a speaker. However, the vote is very close ongoing. First of all, are you going to vote for Congressman Jim Jordan?

And secondly, kind of play out what's going to happen before we get on to Israel. Well, I can't predict all these things, unfortunately, because we have a lot of independent minds. And really that's how the House Speaker is. You know, the vote for that, it usually occurs within the conference. It's traditionally we make our choice within our conference. And when we hold the majority, we're at conference. It's been working together to advance the

conservative agenda for American people. Gain the majority, and you know, is everything I do, I'm going to do what I believe is best for the people I represent in the American people, and we got to pray for our nation in the world. We got work to do, and I want to get back to work. Our conference needs both Steve Scalise and Jim Jordan and

countless others if we're going to be successful. And I had a conversation with Jim Jordan today, you know, he had he had said that we shouldn't go to the floor until we have two hundred and eighteen, and so we'll

see if he has a two hundred and eighteen. I had discussed with him issues that are important to me and to my district and I think for the whole country, and I said, would really want your support if you're a speaker on these particular items when it comes to our national security, when it

comes to making us the healthiest nation on the planet. As a doctor, that's something I'm always working on. We need to be able to exhibit peace in this world through our strength, and those are important things, as well as continuing on with our investigations, in particular for me, the investigation on the pandemic and origins of COVID and how we manage it the next pandemic.

And he seemed to be on board, and I told him that I would vote for him when we come up at noon, and we'll see where things go from there. ABC News is reporting that there's ten hard nos. Is that your understanding that he can't get it on the first ballot, and how ridiculous it would look to have multiple ballots again, because you know, I love conservatism, I'm normally a Republican, but from an outsider, it looks like chaos and that instead of being a party that can govern, it's a

party that wants to advocate and fight. From the outside looking in, it looks really bad. Do you think there's a sense in Congress among you Republicans that this looks terrible to the world, especially now, It looks terrible for a party that wants to have governance when they advocate without governance. Do you understand how badness looks? Yeah? But I think what's important to note is

that it's a minority of the people within our conference. Unfortunately. You know, throughout this process, starting with the motion to vacate and take out that we elected Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy, and we have an earror margin, but looked, as I was trying to say before, traditionally we would vote in conference. The only constituents during that vote are the members of the House. Of Representatives, not across America, not necessarily a certain TV audience

or anything else. It's the members that have to work with the speaker that get the vote. Republicans and Democrats get to vote on this. But in conference, traditionally, what we've done when we are a majority is we elect our nominee and typically we would go out in unison and vote for that nominee and go to work. That's it. And that's not what happens anymore today, and especially when it only takes a few that will vote with Democrats for

someone else. And so that's what we're up against. That's you know what we saw with the motion to vacate. You have people that voted with Democrats to take out Kevin McCarthy Republicans. Yeah, so this is a situation we're in. And you know, Willie, what I've tried to do since i've been here is be a team builder. Work within our conference. We may

have differences, work through them, try to be effective. Get things across the finish line for the conservative things across the finish line for the American people. And quite frankly, when you look at my record, we've done that and I want to continue to do that. So we need a speaker to be able to do that. But if we don't adhere to what was considered the rules within our conference, it's going to be a problem for a while. And it's again it always seems to be a certain few I get from

you that your crystal ball is a bit cloudy. We'll see what happens later this afternoon. And it looks bad, hopefully they can unite. If not scalase Jordan's fine, you're going to vote for Jordan. After that, all hell is going to break loose. Let's move on to the war. You're

a soldier in addition everything else. This morning on some of the talk shows, there's about one hundred and forty thousand members of active IDF arrayed around Gaza, and there's three hundred and fifty thousand are so called up that were pharmacists and lawyers and doctors. They were street cleaners and plumbers. In other words, they were reservist as you have been for a long time, but not

ready to go to war yet. It's only been about ten days and according to the military experts on the cable shows, they're going to be used on the northern part of Israel to waylay and to go after Hesbala when they attack. And the military generals I saw this morning said that when the visit of Joe Biden concludes, I guess on Wednesday or Thursday to Tel Aviv and the Jordan. At that point the assault, the attack will happen on Gaza.

But you must have in place the three hundred and fifty thousand reservists on the northern end of Israel because Hesbola is about to wreak havoc all over Israel with missiles and artillery shells and drones all from Iran and Moore. And so as a military man, take off your your politician had put on your your army officer had and tell us what is happening in Israel now relative to the to the war, and what's going to happen in the North. Well, without

a doubt, Israel is it wore. It's it's not just some kind of policing action or anti terrorism component at this point, it's a war. This is Israel's nine to eleven are pearl harbor. You know, from the military standpoint, it's a pearl harbor. From the civilian standpoint, it's it's the same as nine to eleven, but it seems to me even worse. I don't think we've seen such atrocities at this level since the Holocaust, and at

least the Nazis were trying to hide it. This is just a different situation altogether, and Israel is fighting for its life, and we need to be very supportive of Israel since it is a country that is fighting for its life. It's sort of like we were after nine to eleven, and you do call up the reserves and you do get everyone involved, because that's what it's

going to take at this time. It's a huge military operation. And you know, unfortunately, there's been a stunning intelligence failure about this from the beginning, and that includes I would have to say, US intelligence, because we should be sharing our intelligence with Israel, one of our strongest allies in the world, but certainly our strongest ally in that region. And so let's not be at fault. Let's be prepared for whatever might happen, even if we

don't have intelligence on some things. But you know, the Israeli defense forces are returning fire across the Lebanon border right now. We're returning fire, and I think that's one of the keys. They're firing towards military posts. Look at what Hamas has done. It just went after civilians. They'll take on any military might come along their way. But this is just diabolic what they have done. So we got to consider supply chain for Israel. We want

to be helpful in every way that we can. I'm glad the President is going there. The President has said that wants to make sure that Israel has the tools it needs to defend itself, and let's make let's make sure that we have such a volatile world right now, if we can de escalate this through strength and force, then that's what we need to do. You know, I see AOC saying things like, oh, let's call for a ceasefire. That's not what this is. This has no chance of a ceasefire at

this point. God think it didn't have AOC and Pearl Harbor, because after the Japanese successfully attacked and killed sixteen hundred Americans at Pearl Harbor and Hawaii, maybe AOC of that time would have said, well, we need to cease fire. We have to talk to the Japanese and see what the heck they have in their minds. Stand down, and that's not the case, and Israel, as you know, is the strongest military in the Middle East by

far. However, what hes blog can throw at the Israelis are thousands of drones from Iran, one hundred and fifty thousand guided missiles, all many of what you're going to get through to devastate Israeli cities. And then what happens assuming playing this scenario. You military types love to have the scenario, what if this happens? What happens if they devastate Israeli cities, kill tens of thousands of Israeli citizens and their sins, the existence of Israel is at stake.

What happens then, well, you got to go at the source. I mean, you don't just drive people out of Israel at this point, because that's not the answer. That won't work. You have to do more. Let's face it, Iran has been backing this for some time. They're well orchestrated right now especially, and so Israelize every right to go on the offense and nip things that the source is best that they possibly can. They have gone for years using iron dome tech, attacks that came in, missiles

that came in, that's been very successful. That just got overwhelmed. And not only was it that which we're always attacks on the civilians, it was the one on one, actually ten on one, taking families, killing families, killing babies, using them as hostages. And you know, from the United States standpoint, we have a lot of Americans that are in Israel right now trying to get out. We've tried to help many of our constituents and

follow where they are to help them get out. We've seen efforts privately. The United States I think has every authority to go in and protect us interest and the American people in particular, to at least try to evacuate the American people that seemed trapped into in Israel. Branky, do you have a fear

of a nuclear exchange between Israel and Iran? Well, no, I don't really at this point, I don't, but there are things behind the scenes that we don't know, and we didn't know they were going to launch this attack. So you know, I do sit on the Intelligence Committee, and there was nothing there that we were informed of to predict this. But we're gathering intelligence now as far as what's taking place. And one of my concerns is not only for the State of Israel, but for the Americans that are

in Israel. But Israel's fighting for its life, and the only way you're ever going to have peace in the Middle East is if you have a stable and protected and safe Israel. Lastly, Congressman Brad Weinster, but I know the votes about to begin, and you're you're very close to the House floor, and I hope the chaos ends, and I hope Jim Jordan is selected sometime today, multiple ballots probably what should be a disaster. That's bad too.

However, is President Joe Biden wise he's leaving in a few hours meetings tomorrow. Is he wise to go into the city situation personally Air Force one landing in Tel Aviv, making a trip to Jordan King Hussein? Is he wise to do that at this point? Well, it could be seen as a show of support. Certainly. I think there's a lot of things that the President needs to do in addressing the American people as far as what we are doing, not only for Israel, what we are doing in Ukraine,

what we are doing to deter China. And that's a lot of things that he can do right from the Oval office. With the position that he holds as President of the United States. Look, well, we do we need a speaker, But I would say you at the same time, for right

now, the House is still open. We aren't shut down. And I'm going to continue to do my committee work and discover the truth when it comes to COVID, and do what we can to make sure that we can make America a healthy nation, all of these things that are so important to the American people. I'm going to keep my work up, but I don't know how long we can do it without a speaker. Well, well, I hope hopefully its white smoke over the Capitol and we have a pope sometime today.

And if the Pope is Jim Jordan, so be it. If the Pope was going to be Steve Scalise, so be it. If it was going to be McCarthy, so be it. Whatever it is, it just looked inept. And this is going to be used by Democrats and liberals and Marxists all over the world to demonstrate that Republicans are not a serious party a party of governance. It's a party of advocation, but not governance. And

that's a problem. Today. It looks awful, But the big takeaway from this interview, is that you have hope that today we're going to have a speaker and that you're going to vote for Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan. Correct. Yeah, that's the plan. We'll see how he does on the first round, and I don't know what will happen after that. All right, Congress and Brad Winstrom, thank you very much. I know you're busy for coming on this Tuesday afternoon. Thank you very much. Thanks Bill. All right,

let's continue. Well, we'll see what occurs. It's a disaster, and I understand the nine that were hard nos and took McCarthy out, but it played into the hands of those who believe that Nancy Pelosi got things done. Of course what she got done was a total disaster and almost every respect, but she got things done. So let's continue to have your voice. Later on, we have Jack Windsor coming up from the High Press Network. Plus I'm going to put a call into Sergeant Dan Hills of the FOP,

the Vice mayor of Cincinnati. It was on with Scott Sloan this morning talking about providing providing those fast and furious drivers at Second in Ray Street to have their own space, give them space maybe at the Carthach and Hamilety County Fairgrounds to do what they're going to do. And let's face it, that's not the issue. Because they want to give the middle finger to the police and to the society by doing the donuts. To give them a safe space to

do the donuts. They wouldn't take that up either, because they want the middle finger given to the Cincinnati police. In a law enforcement the idea of shutting down I seventy one and the light tunnel and and doing donuts at three o'clock in the morning is harmful, ridiculous, and it's a middle finger to Cincinnati police. So let's continue with more your comments. Five one, three, seven, four nine, seven thousand. Bill Cunningham News Radio seven hundred

WULW turn entries October sixteenth, left. I anticipate sometime in a few minutes we're going to have the results of the first to vote when it comes to Jim Jordan as Speaker of the House, which would be fine with me. That's good, let's go the McCarthy. He's done and no one else has the votes. Steven Scalise, who is I'm fine with him too, was shot almost killed on the field by a Democratic extremists who wanted to kill Republicans

and he couldn't get it done. Jim Jordan's trying is going to be close. You just heard Congress and brad Winstup talk about it. He's going to vote for him, and let's move on. Let's get it done, and so hope by one o'clock, two o'clock, three o'clock it would look awfully bad to have the Republican Party. I'm a conservative, I'm not a Republican fail once again to pick a leader when they're all different shades of chocolate,

different types, but nonetheless they're all the same basically. So let's get a leader. Let's move on, because to do otherwise will allow the radical left to have more talking points a how the Republican Party advocates but can't legislate. So hopefully that's the case. And one last thing you hear. ABC News

often discussed about Jim Jordan being insurrectionist or be an election denier. The FBI launched the most incisive, clear, long, intrusive investigation in American history on anything, and the FBI Department of Justice would have loved to have found information The Congressman Jim Jordan was somehow involved directly indirectly in the riots taking place in the Capitol in January the sixth. They would have loved to indicted him directly

or indirectly, but there was no evidence. So now the charge of the radical left is that Jim Jordans somehow is an election denier. So many are now saying that, including a Keem Jeffries the House, a minority leader, a Democrat, a very liberal guy of Marxist from New York City, that Jim Jordan is an election denier, that he denied the outcome of legitimate elections.

You may recall, and I've played it for you for many, many times, how Democratic leaders in twenty sixteen, after the election twenty seventeen twenty eighteen, spent their time saying that Donald Trump was illegitimate, they denied the outcome of the election. Also, you may recall that at the inaugural itself on January the twenty, twenty seventeen, there were thirty eight Democrats saying that Trump was not legitimately elected and denied the outcome of the election. Who did

not come to the inaugural. They said absolutely not, We're not doing it. So what I can't recall with Obama or with Biden, that certain Republicans did not attend the inaugural of Joe Biden because he was illegitimate. The Republicans had to lower their head and accept what happened. So, according to A Keem Jeffries, he's the leader now of the House Democrats. At the time, he said, quote, history will never accept you Donald Trump as a

legitimate president. Is A Keem Jeffries and Nancy Pelosi are they election deniers? A Kim Jeffries also said, quote the more we learn about twenty sixteen elections, the more illegitimate it becomes. America deserves to know whether we have a fake president in the Oval office. And here is the of the House Democrats. I wish the media would play these kinds of things talking about the legitimacy of twenty sixteen. Sheriff hit it, there is a cloud of illegitimacy around

the election of Donald Trump. Russia interfered with our election, attacked our democracy for the sole purpose of artificially placing someone at sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue. They were successful, and there is clearly a cloud of illegitimacy hanging over sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue that's growing bigger by the day. There's a cloud of illegitimacy that continues to hang over sixteen hundred Pennsylvania Avenue. So called President of the United

States, so called president, so called president, so called president. So what we have here is the leader of the current Democratic Party, Hakeem Jeffries,

calling Donald Trump a so called president, illegitimate and artificial. Jump ahead now to twenty twenty three, and he's accusing Jim Jordan of engaging in his behavior in twenty sixteen and twenty seventeen, and it metastasized in the two impeachments, where one of them was that after Trump had left office, and the first one was declared illegitimate by the Federal Election Commission because Hillary Clinton is the one who launched the Russian collusion delusion and she was the one fined by the

FEC and not Donald Trump. Does the media cover this absolutely not. It doesn't fit. So at one point, assuming looking to my left, there's nominating speeches going on as I speak for Jim Jordan. On one hand, you have Democrats saying Jim Jordan was an insurrectionist which is a lie. In the FBI and the Department of Justice run by Biden said it was a lie.

But now they're saying he denied the outcome of election, therefore it's illegitimate to make him the Speaker of the House, which is exactly the behavior engaged in by Hillary Clinton and Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter. Jimmy Carter President Jimmy Carter said that Donald Trump was an illegitimate president. So who was denying the outcome of that election? They were all Democrats, But the media doesn't point

it out, but I just did. Now. Secondly, have you seen the moral equivalence argument between Palestinians and Israelis being killed, between Palestinian children being killed and Israeli children being killed, and that the media and the left wing colleges and universities are like calling them morally equivalent. One of the assertions is that by especially the Western left, that quote Palestinian babies are as precious as

Israeli babies quote unquote. In fact, Professor Cornell West, who may be one of the Democratic nominees for president next year, a lifelong progressive Marxist, said quote as I said, for the past fifty years, a precious Palestinian baby has the same value as a precious Israeli baby. Quote unquote, you know what I would say about that? Correct? In fact, in God's eyes, each are equal. There's nothing special about being a Jewish baby or

a Palestinian baby, or a European baby, or an African baby. In God's eyes, they're exactly the same. And a second example used to avoid condemning Hamas is that there's a cycle of violence. So on the first front, no one Israeli, Western European, the Great America. No one is saying that the original statement is wrong. Of course, a Palestinian baby is as precious as an Israeli baby, But who are the ones who started the war because of the quote cycle of violence? The cycle of violence, the

lives of Palestinian children are as precious as Israeli children. That's a given. Is not being argued about at all. It's not in dispute, but it is a nice sounding way to attack Israel and its supporters by acting as if there's an equivalency when German babies were killed in World War Two by indiscriminate bombing,

especially at Dresden for example, in Germany. In which about one hundred thousand German civilians were killed by American bombers, including men, women, and children not in the war that the entity that began the circumstances resulting the bombing was Adolf Hitler. And here in Tojo in Japan. They started the war and the America and the Allies responded just like now locally, the Israelis did

not start the war, they responded to it. So you would hope the Hamas mothers and fathers, mainly fathers, because women are brutalized in AMAS societies. Would you agree ladies brutalized. So the men in Amas started the war, began it, kept it going knowing there would be an Israeli response resulting in the death of their own children. Golden Myyar said, like forty five years ago, the war will end when Hamas's feelings of love toward their own

children exceed the hate they feel toward the Israeli and the Jews. So the reason America in Britain and Canada dropped bombs on Germany and also the atomic bombs in Nagasaki is because Japan and Germany started World War Two. They're the ones who committed horrific acts, and defeating those two countries is a clear moral imperative. If we had this standard that do not kill children indiscriminately by bombing, World War II would have concluded in such a way that Germany and Japan was

still in power. Therefore, why would someone have noted in World War Two that Japanese and German babies are as precious as American and British babies. The purpose would be to encourage the Allies to avoid civilian deaths, and the creator of those statements were clear about the necessity and morality of bombing terrible countries.

No one would have disputed that in the nineteen forties there is a moral equivalence between the Nazis and Amas and Hesbelah and Isis in al Qaida and all their other extremist group They started it. As I tweeted out about a week or two ago that if magically tomorrow every arm, every weapon at the hands of the Israelis were gone and they were defenseless, they would be obliterated within a

week or ten days. The Jews would all be killed. If, on the other hand, Hamas and Hesbela and al Qaeda in Iran and the Muslim brotherhood in Isis. If they lost the ability to fight and all their weapons

were gone tomorrow, then peace would break out. We would have actual the opposite of what's happening now, because much like the Germans were committed, the Nazis to killing every Jew, every American that they could locate in brutal ways, all America and Canada and England won was peace, and military tactics would mean there'd be an indirect loss of life that they did not intend but would occur. Same today, the Jews will dreap or drop leaflets telling get ready

it's coming. They'll use precision guide and armaments to try to limit civilian deaths, which is the direct opposite of what Hamas is doing. They want to kill civilians. There's not an equivalency. So the straw man created, Well, a Palestine stillian. A Palestinian baby is as valuable as a Jewish baby. Absolutely no one disputes that. And if that's the case, maybe Hamas and the leaders of a mass would stop warring on Jews in the Israelis and

Americans. All we want is peace. It's interesting because the Israelis regularly warn Gosz's civilians to evacuate buildings. They'll make telephone calls if they have it, or emails or texts, get out of the building it's about to happen. They lose the privilege of US prize attack on Hamas oproduced by doing so, and given the Hamas puts their weapons in schools, hospitals, and apartment buildings for the express purpose of bringing debt down on their own women and children and

babies. Hamas are the ones responsible for the killing of Palestinian children, not the Jews. Media doesn't cover that, will They absolutely not. It's unbelievable and the only reason, and here's a finer point, I hope, the only reason for announcing and for coverage of Palestinian deaths by CNN announcing that Israeli and Palestinian babies are equally precious is to engage in anti Israel moral relativism,

that somehow it's all the same. American soldiers were the same as German soldiers, that Ice is the same as the US army, That Israel is no better than Hamas, in fact, they're worse. The only context I think in which that assertion would be useful if it's directed at Hamas, and it's Muslim and left wing supporters in colleges, universities. It is they who do not believe. They don't believe it that Israeli and Palestinian kids are precious.

They don't believe that because Jews care for injured Palestinian children all the time. Well, Hamas murders and beheads Jewish kids. So the moral relative relativism and quote the cycle of violence is hard for me to imagine a worse description of the Israeli Hamas war. They're not equivalent, they're not the same. If CNN was around in World War two, America, on the ally would have

lost the war. They would head coverage from Dresden when men, women, and children and babies were killed by indiscriminate bombing to bring about the end of World War II, or Hiroshima Nagasaki August sixth and August ninth, and nineteen forty five. They would have covered the war in such an extent that they would have whipped up anti military ferbor among the American people in nineteen forty five. The moral problem is not the cycle of islands. It is Palestinian violence.

It is Hamas, it is Hesbalah, It is al Qaeda, it's ISIS, It's the Muslim Brotherhood and all the rest who keep the cycle of islands going by killing innocent men, women and children who simply want peace and without violence from those groups in Gaza, in the West Bank, in Iran and Iraq and Afghanistan. Guess what there would be no cycle of islands,

zero zilchnd. It simply would not occur. But it has occurred and occurred now for a long time because of the assaults by radical Islamist Google if you can the Islamic acts of violence. The number comes up since nineteen seventy nine, well over fifty thousand individual acts around the world of violence by Islamic extremists and over a quarter million dead. And it's accelerating. That's the problem. And the response is righteous and rightful. It's like saying that criminals commit crime

and police respond. There's a cycle of violence by Sergeant Dan Hills and Sergeant Richard K. Jones. There's a cycle of violence between the cops and the wrong doers. No, there isn't. Crime takes place and police respond. When I spent my ten days or two weeks in Israel in May, I saw a peaceful, calm Western democracy, who simply wanted peace in a nation called Israel. In what's thirty percent of the citizens are Palestinian Arab Muslims living

in peace with the Jews. The cycle of violence is a canard. It's an excuse to attack and kill more Jews. There's not a cycle of violence. The Jews want peace and a Moss wants war. Well, let's continue. Many guests coming up. We got one or two more today. After one o'clock today, we're going to have Jack Windsor of the Ohigh Press Network with us, and then after two o'clock today will be the great Sergeant Dan Hills. I got a report that Sergeant Hills is stepping down as the leader

of the FOP. So we're going to talk about things in the past and also what to do with these burnouts happening all over Cincinnati. I can only imagine what Richard K. Jones would say about that. Twelve fifty five homing Europe News Radio seven hundred WLW. Now you can relive the greatest moments from US are coming up later as a Sergeant Dan Hills of Cincinnati Police head of reunion the President to talk about the donuts at three o'clock in the morning,

conducted on city streets, which is disgusting. But nonetheless, Jack Windsor, welcome again to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Jack, I see one of your columns as a rather interesting piece about State Issue one. Plus I want to get into the issue of inflation, labor shortages and things of that character. But can you tell us first, because the money being spent on Issue one is literally tens of millions of dollars, and it's being spent on one

side, which is abortion is like a sacrament. Abortion is a wonderful thing.

And we have all the big city Democratic mayors and office holders all in support of State Issue one, which is causing the death of about fifty percent of the abortions in Ohio, are killing the lives of unborn black babies that are healthy in the womb, and seeming like Democrats are lining up like ninety eight percent in favor of it. But of course, of Brian Williams, as a pastor and founder of Hope City House of Prayer and Columbus, he's

put together a different group. Can you explain that story not reported by the mainstream media. Sure, so, as you mentioned Brian Williams as a pastor, and he partnered with over one hundred additional black pastors and community leaders, and they're standing up against issue one. And as he explained to me in the interview, this isn't a Republican issue, this isn't a Democrat issue,

This isn't a matter of life. This is valuing life. And he went on to say what you said, which is that about fifty percent of abortions are performed on black women. Now, Blacks comprise about thirteen percent of the Ohio population, and so when you think about that, let's say that six percent of the population is comprised of black women. So six percent of the

p population is turning out fifty percent of our abortions. And he went on to talk about how planned parenthood, which, by the way, Willie, that's why you're seeing so many ads. Planned parenthood is a multi billion dollar business in the business of slaughtering kids that are unborn in the womb. They've bought ads, they've created deceptive programs. But he talked about how planned parenthood

it's history. Margaret Sanger was actually a eugenicist, and he believes that they are intentionally put their clinics in black neighborhoods in an effort to eradicate the black population. And one thing I've noticed is an effective add up. I think it's Unitarian minister from Columbus So and they have this couple there that are in turmoil, and she's up against the leaning up against the wall in the home, and he's like consoling her. It's a personal decision, it's a family

matter. Government has no role telling you what you can do with your own body. And it's an older white guy with glasses on giving a religious principle that even God would support abortion. I'm a pastor, and these are family decisions. I can't line up the thousands of times the government tells people what they can and can't do with their own bodies. It happens all the time in every regulatory function of a civil government, criminal law, how to drive

a car, who can't drive a car? Can your body get behind the wheel of a car at the age of twelve. There's all kinds of things the government tells people what they can and can't do with their own body. But it's an effective ad because it looks as if God himself is telling people that abortion is Okay, it's fine to kill healthy babies in the womb who want to be born, that are growing, that are alive, and it's okay to kill them. Have you seen that ad and is that effective?

Do you think from the left wing position, Well, it's not effective to me. My visceral response is to throw up a little bit in my mouth because it's customer willy. I do, however, believe that it is effective because you know, there are low information voters. There are people who don't understand fully what is in the amendment of the proposed amendment, and they look at someone like that and go, well, you know, he purports to be a godly man. So but look, I don't want to get into

a match about scripture. But scripture is pretty clear. I think it's in the Book of Deuteronomy that God says, yeah, I'm going to give you a choice. Because people will say, well, God's pro choice. He doesn't want to force you, right, he does. But in Deuteronomy it says I've laid before you right, right and wrong, good and bad. Choose life. Or he said I laid before you life and death. Choose life that it may go well for you and your kids. So he's encouraged.

God wants you to choose life. He gives you the choice, but he wants you to choose life. So it's pretty it's deceptive. And the other ad that's accepted will I think we've talked about it at topic, pregnancies and miscarriages won't be handled. I talked to plenty of obgu I ms who go, that's a bunk. Even if this thing doesn't pass at topic, pregnancies are a risk to the mother's life and absolutely that would be taken care

of. And by the way, miscarriages are not abortions because the child has already died in the womb, and so we would absolutely clean that out and make sure that the mothers say it. So. Yes, they are affective ads. I think the people who are low information voters. Before I get onto this article on your website about US probing more than one hundred incidents of

Chinese nationals entering a US military bases and weaponsites, unbelievable story. What's particularly upsetting to me is that there are Christians, Catholics and believers all over Ohio that go to mass, go to church, praise the Lord, go to crossroads, whatever it might be. And they have signs in the yard saying vote yes. When mothers and fathers and grandmothers and grandfathers do not understand what

they do. At some point you will answer in this life or the next for this particular decision in my life, in Tony Bender's life, There's never been a circumstance when you, as an individual person, can vote yes or no to allow healthy babies to live in the womb and to grow and to become outside the womb, continuing their life. Never before has that ever happened.

And for someone who claims to be a person of faith that have children to put that silly ass sign in your yard vote yes, kill more healthy babies, to me is disgusting. Now. Secondly, you have a column up us probing more than one hundred incidents of excuse me, Chinese nationals entering military bases and weaponsites. This is on top of what's happening in Israel. It's on top of the may I say, the police stations explain that story,

please? Yeah. So. The Wall Street Journal reported that the FBI, Department of Defense, and other agencies have dubbed the situation where Chinese nationals appear to feign accidentally approaching high security US military installations and other federal sites as gate crashing, and they held a review in twenty twenty two to figure out

a way to camp down on the incident, as I said. The Wall Street Journal reported that the official said the practice appeers intended to stress test security measures at the military sites as a form of low effort reconnaissance or espionage. And you know, really it's troubling. Are we allowing this to happen? Yeah, we are. And that's on the heels of, by the way, this balloon that went across the entire you know, half of the continental

United States. So we're kind of allowing China to do what they want to do. But when you get behind who Joe Biden is, that shouldn't surprise Americans. He's compromised with China, he's compromised with Ukraine, and he's compromised with a lot of other international players. Your story says Chinese nationals were found photographing a missile range in New Mexico, as well as scuba diving and murky

Florida waters that happened to be near our rocket launch site. Sometimes their question, one of the Chinese nationals said that he's looking for a McDonald's or a Burger King, he's looking for a happy meal, and they so hope just go to me. This is really unbelievable that if something happens between China and Taiwan and there's thousands of Chinese nationals all over this country illegally taking photographs,

causing havoc across America, this is really unbelievable. It is. And you know, they claim that these individuals are often cited criminally, criminally at least the ones that go speeding through security checkpoints. But I think there has to be more diligence. Now, obviously there's that murky ground right where if somebody appears to be Chinese, we certainly don't want to be in that awkward position

of saying, well, well, wait a minute. You know we're profiling, and you know you can't practice your first Amendment right, you can't wander freely around the country. But at the same time, I think we have to be super intelligent about what's going on. And at the end of the day, if you have a punishment, and if that punishment is stiff enough, hopefully at least it would cut off some of those other things. Like you, like you referred to. But yeah, it's an issue, Willie,

and I worry about you mentioned Israel. Given the fact that we know that Iran and Russia and China are now kind of that axis of evil, things are going to get interesting. They're going to get very interesting. Now. Lastly, you have a column here about Secretary of Commerce Biden Secretary of Commerce Janna Romando, who testified a few days ago in front of JD.

Van, Senator Vance, and they are mandating the companies submit to her Department of Commerce diversity quotas by number, by category, including transgender hires, things of that character. And JD. Van says that mandating companies submit diversity quotas as racist and un American. This is on top every time alone is closed. I talked to a banker recently who told me that two points are added to a loan of someone with good credit above a seven point fifty in order

to pay individuals down loans for those with bad credit. So if you have a good credit rating like a Tony Bender, and you have a new mortgage, you're going to pay extra two points on your loan to help somebody with a six' ten credit score get a mortgage, so the good pay for the bad, and Jade Vance went after her A little bit, of course, is not going to change at all, because the US Department of Commerce

wants every company in America to support their equity and workplace diversity existing individuals. Plus what's the plan to improve it in the future, including transgenders. You'll be encouraged to handle to hire transgenders. Your reaction to Senator Vance going after the Biden administration on that, kudos, because I think you know, what

is inspected is respected. And this was a hearing on the Chips Act and its implementation, and so Rimondo was touting the diversity of the bills implementations, saying that Chips for America invests across the supply chain. The Department is working with like minded partners to strengthen and diversify the global semiconductor supply chain. But

Vance said, well, not so fast. I'm struggling to make sense of the fact that we have a shortage of skilled labor to manufacture chips on one hand, and yet you are telling people that they can only hire people who check the right diversity boxes. And at the end of the day, if you are the Department of Commerce. It should be about commerce, it should not be about this woke political activism. And will it change, not while Biden's in office. But kudos to jd Vance for calling her out on the

carpet. Jack wendsortheohire pressnetwork dot com. Every month or two, I want to get a report from you what's happening at Columbus. And once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. All of a sudden, the cameras come on, there's the president in Afghanistan. Then he comes back. Even Democrats are worried about the president. Stage of Wall Street Journal had a poll showing two

thirds of Democrats say Joe Biden is too old to run again. Are you prepared to be commander in chief? Yes, I am if necessary. We're in trouble. We're in deep trouble. That's all I can say. And then as we are, elections matter, and when folks vote, they order what they want, and in this case, they got what they asked for. I didn't vote for into you. I went off script a little bit.

Anthony Grant returning all four starters for a team that's finished second. How about that? So there you go, And then, uh, what else? I think that's about it? What didn't see? What else is? You got to have

more sports? People need sports segment? College basketball will lead back to that, Kansas number one in the nation and the AP Top twenty five preseason poll, Kentucky is sixteenth, Xavier thirty fourth. And of course you have that big news. There's twenty it's twenty days until the college basketball season starts. Really twenty days and one hundred and sixty three until Red's opening day against the Nats. Well, we'll see what happens. That's just right around the corner.

I'm more excited about the Reds in twenty twenty four than I've been in a long time. You know, maybe one starting pitch, But if Graham Ashcraft has lack of it is a better towah and Nicko Dolo Ladola oh has a better leg. And assuming yeah, you know, they can get back Hunter Green aka Homer Green, assuming he can pitch three movement on FT. Well you got Williamson. What haven't they gotten the deal? He's the fourth starter? Not bad, so we will bring championship Baseball to Cincinnati. And

when he did not say when? And and the thing is too they're not gonna the option for Joey Vado. They are not going to tape pick that up for twenty million bucks. Of course not so. But what do he played for ten? Well, they're on them seven anyway, add three mil and he got and he leaveses a Red. Uh you know, I'm gonna call Phil Castelane and to see if he can offer him ten, which it's really three, and say we signed for one year. I am so excited

about this team. I'm just getting pumped up about it. Maybe I should talk to Bob instead. You usually go you usually go the top I want. And I also congratulate Bill Weinberger, yes, who has retired as the general sales manager of your Cincinnati Reds. He was there about sixteen seventeen years was here about sixteen or seventeen years correct, working under Karen Forgus. Bill Weinberger is too young to retire. The king and the salesman told he may

come back here. Wow. I'm about that, told wow. So we'll see what happens with that. But he deserves a nice retirement. The guy's not doubt old. He can't be older than seventy five or eighty, is he? I don't think so. Well. Whatever he is, Bill Weinberger is a good dude. I like him, amen, I second that emotion. Now, getting back to your Bengals, yep. They're now ranked as

high as sixth in the No Fun League of the NFL. All right, and it all depends upon their upcoming schedule, which is a difficult one. Would you agree? Yes, you got the forty nine ers and you got the Texans in there. You got I mean, it doesn't get any about Baltimore, about Kansas, not get any easier about Cleveland in the second half. About Pittsburgh, we have nothing but issues. In fact, they have one team they're going to play losing Jacksonville on a Monday night down there,

and they're pretty good. Yes, so they have the second worst schedule to play for the next eleven. If the defense plays the way they're playing, they're going to be in it. That's because the Logan Wilson, because and then also the offense has got to catch up with the defense in their play. They got to start putting some points on the board. I have the seven possessions against Seattle. First, one interception, second, one field goal, then punt, punt, punt, punt and punt. That is not

a good offense, would you agree, correct? And the one field goal they kicked was what about a fifty three yard Yeah, Well, Evan McPherson could make a field goal from the top of our building here in Kenwell. He was money Mack, right, here's money Mack. He could put it right through the uprights from here on top of our roof. But double Nickel can get it done. Well, he can eat and do it. I mean, and and what about I mean Hubbard and Hendrickson and Reader and all

the rest of them. And the secondary's coming on. So but uh, you can't, you know, you can't have those guys out on the out, on the out on the field the whole day. And I said to Logan Wilson last night should the quarterback of the defense make the same as the quarterback of the offense? Was out a good question, I bet I bet you he said yes. Yes, he said yes, yes, according to you, won't have to make three hundred million. Was only making thirty six

million. Oh well, then I guess nine times how many other players that we have. We have thirty six million for two guys making six hundred million dollars a year. Oh way to Jamar Chase signs, Oh what about Higgins? That could be all the moment about Boyd. All right, at this point, as we speak, seg King Jeffries has two hundred and twelve and Jordan has two hundred and twenty others. And at this point, well, who are where the twenty others? Voting for themselves or their uncle or something

or what. But at this point the Democrats are going nuts in the house, thinking, okay, let's call the end of the vote. A King Jeffries is the speaker, who is the socialist, the Marxist from Manhattan. But then the Republicans are saying, hold up on that car, wise, gentlemen, we want to do this one more time. They're saying the vote will be kept open. Uh, huh. Yeah, So I don't know what. I don't know. We're in nothing but crisis. You got you

got to you got Israel? Yeah, where anybody heard about Ukraine lately? That's guy that's on the back burner. So far, there's been four hundred and thirty two actual votes. Four hundred and thirty two right now. No, you got closer, didn't you? No, he dumped it. I told David dump I didn't do it. I'll dump you. I dumped you. I dumped you. They can't even figure out what's going on there. Did you say shift or did you say the extrement word? No, I

didn't say anything. I almost said it. We're not sure the buttons work around here. I don't want to have to find out I didn't say it. We'll find out on the tape. They can't figure out their own house. Well, I don't know what's going to happen. Segment I have after two o'clock. Dan Hills is coming up. Uh oh. Jan Michelle lemon Kearney has an idea of spending I guess thousands of dollars at the Hamley County fire and carthage just serve that as fast and furious burnout material. That's how

out of touch she is. Because the kids that do this want to give the middle finger to the police. They don't want to go to some organized structure. They want to burn out and the lightle tunnel or maybe at second in race. Oh, you mean the guys are doing the doughnuts. Now she wants to pay to have them go? Do I think their NASCAR or Formula One drivers are last and furious? Great? The burnout nice and we'll see a right segment. Right now. The house is in chaos, which

is where our world's chaos. The only place you don't have chaos. Last night was at Logan Wilson raising money for park. He loved Deer Park well. In fact, he said he might move to Deer Park raise his children in Deer Park. Now, wouldn't that be something? That would be something? Now? All right, get me out of the student's report. Maybe in the next half an hour, can they elect a king Jeffries, the Marxist from Manhattan to be the Speaker of the House. Now that would be

perfect. Where did his name come out of? No, he's the House minority leader. Oh so, the two hundred and twelve Democrats voted for him. But the winner's got to get two hundred and seventeen. And so there's twenty mainly Republicans who have have got to change their vote in order to make sure that the King Jefferies is not the speaker. This is a chaotic situation on the floor of the house. Nothing but chaos. Unbelievable, Andy mack Hi segment, get me out of the students report. We have chaos,

willia and utter of chaos all throughout the world. We leave you with the immortal words of the student report. Name me a world leader who changed places with Shiji King. Name me one, Name me one? What who? And that's the leader of the Soviet Socialist Republic of China. But nonetheless ought he played in the Japanese League against Trevor what's his name, Trevor Bower. Trevor Bauer. By the way, he's just said, who tay the world

layer. There's your fifth starter maybe for the reds welcoming back. He was largely exonerated. Bingo Trevor Bauer. I'm just saying Trevor would come back. I'm just saying he got the only cy young and read's history here, didn't he? And the woman has been shown to be a charlatan. A charlatan, Yeah, just looking for the doe, the ray and the mee. He never paid a nickel and he was exonerated by the prosecutor's office. Is he still in Japan pitching? Think so? Yeah, get him back saying

get me out of the student's report. Ord he did, Let's continue. Yeah. By the way, Dave, can we hear from President Biden one more time? Because he'll be in Kiev. When's he going there? When's he going to Kiev? I thought he was going to Israel. He's going to go to Israel, Jordan, then Kiev. He's beaten with to deliver much needing humanitarian assistance as well as food, water, medicine, shelter, another aid to Ukraine he's displaced by Russians war, and provide aid for those

seeking refuge in other countries from Ukraine. It's also going to help schools and hospitals open. It's good allow tensions and social support to be paid to Ukrainian people so they have something something in their pocket. It's also going to provide critical resources to just food shortages around the globe. Well. At the end of the day, the UH they always ask congressman, does anyone want to

change their vote? Now? You got McHenry up there, he's the Speaker pro tem, and uh, at this point, is that what they're asking anybody want to change want to change your vote? Because at this point, Hakeem Jefferies is the is, the is the speakers and they don't like that. I would hope not that. Kevin McCarthy walking around too. He's going to go talk to Akeem and go talk to Nancy. I'm not sure Nancy's even there. Jimmy still be in San Francisco segment, Thank you, yes,

sir. Coming up next will be Sergeant Dan Hills about burnouts and donuts. Cops love donuts, won't you? Kentucky Speedways? Why well, they can do it all night long down Eric. But see, the idea is to flip the bird at the police, and that doesn't work if it's organized. Oh okay, let's continue with more. Bill Cunningham, News Radio seven hundred WLW. Now you can relive the greatest moments from our twenty twenty three

iHeartRadio Music Festival. Turnout specialists to burn some rubber and have some fun, as if that's an essential role of government and one thing I have noticed is that there's a breakdown of law and order all across society, but especially in the city of Cincinnati that has not yet visited Warren County or Boone County. Joining you and I now is Sergeant Dan Hills. Sergeant Dan, welcome again

to the Bill Cunningham Show. And first of all, I had a report that sometime between now and maybe the end of the year, you will vacate your position as president, that Joe Biden in the FOP and going into the pasture. Can you put some metal those bones? Yeah, I'm not going to run for re elections. So in December, when the election happens, I will be we'll be heading out to the pasture. I'll be around involved in some different things, working with some lawyers, but I will no longer

be the FOP president. Well, we'll do an exit interview with your permission at that point, but until then, let me relate to you a story that many many years ago, in a different time, in a different place, there were two young blond prosecutors sitting in Room Ay, which, as you know, in Room May in Hamlet County. That's the original Arrayment Court set a bond court, everyone arrested the previous twenty four hours is brought to

Room Ay on the first floor the Hemany County Justice Center. When I was in the Public Defender's office in some other millennia, the place was packed and stacked. At that point. It was in the Alms and Deputy Building. There were literally two to three hundred people waiting to have a bond set locked up up, a few not locked up. And it was the first appearance. And then many many years ago, when the Justice Center was built, they put Room May in the Justice Center to make it easy to bring down

the inmates who were upstairs, very easy. And it was in Alms and deput building. Had transport him across the street underneath, et cetera. That was a problem. And so in those good old days, there was two blonde, young Hemny County prosecutors sitting there in Room May, calling between two and three hundred cases every day. One was Melissa Powers, the other one

Penelope R. Cunningham. And they sat there and they called cases and they hoped to get out by noon, but generally it was one o'clock and the cases went through. Each case got about one or two minutes, maybe three minutes, cops showed up like yourself to say, okay, I rested this guy. This is what happened, and as a consequence, we want to high bond to low bond whatever. There's a bond committee there that has a score system, and if you had a nine or ten that was good,

he got a three or four that's bad. Locked up. So recently, about a month ago, I found myself in Room May of the Hemnic County Justice Center, representing a friend of mine that had some difficulties. And when I walked in about quota to nine, there were maybe nine or ten people in this large room. Ay, and not two or three hundred all the seats occupied. They were people lined up the side and out the door.

I walk up to David Wood, the prosecutor, Amity Gunny prosecutor. It's been there forever, and I said, David, i am in the right place. He said, what do you mean? I said, where is everybody? He said, this is the way it is. I said, wait a minute. There's not two or three hundred. There's not bail bond committees. There's not lawyers and public defendors and witnesses and cops from Springdale and Springfield Township and madeira all over the place. He said, no, this

is the way it is now. Since you're on the front lines representing a thousand cops. What happened to room? Ay? Oh Willy, We just don't lock up people like we used to. You know, that's uh the direction in society has gone. There isn't room in the inn. So it becomes very difficult for police officers to be motivated to lock up people who don't stay locked up. They're in and out. You know, we've always heard about the revolving wheel of the justice system in America. I've heard about it

since I started in nineteen eighty seven. But that revolution of that wheel is spinning faster. Never they don't get in the door before they get spit back out. And unless you committed one of the most heinous crimes, rape or murder or something of that sort, you're usually without without even a full night's day. So you know, that's kind of it in a nutshell, Willie. Plus the difficulty of policing in twenty twenty three, the microscope that policemen

are under. You're more likely to get punished by an encounter with the bad guy than the bad guy is So it gets to be uh, it gets to be just another another thing against law and order that policemen are are less and less likely to lock up numerous people, like in your old room May days. Sir, Well, you recall that it wasn't it packed and stacked fifteen twenty thirty years ago you tried to get an early time. I would.

I would work ten to six in the morning in Districts four and five, my first couple of districts, and I would just go and get some breakfast because I was usually going to be in Room May if not in various other rooms too. And right now it doesn't happen. Now. Secondly, let's talk about the fast and furious burnouts happening like a second in Rice and also on I seventy one in the little tunnel at three o'clock in the morning, dozens of cars block traffic at one end in Fort Washington Way. They

do their burnouts inside the tunnel for like fifteen to twenty minutes. Nobody's arrested, nobody assigned interstate highways stopped. Can you explain to me how that's possible. Well, well, Lea's back to what I just told you about there's a risk reward every time a policeman encounter somebody. There isn't much reward. We're not doing much to these soaks, I can mention real quick. You know that other cities have got a little more inventive with this. The city

of Louisville I just found out this morning. What they're doing is if they can identify a vehicle, then they will impound that vehicle for six months. The new city ordered, so maybe jam Michelle could get to work on that rather than the Hamil County fair idea. But you know they have I guess they've got a saying mask up, plates off, mask up and plates off. You get what that means, Willie? No, what you put your

mask ups? You put your mask up so you can't be identified if there's a picture of you, and you take a plate off off the car, so that way you can burn out and out burnout. Please come you take off. We can no longer pursue. We can only pursue for dangerous I'm

sorry, violence sellings. So guess what, you put your mask up and plates off, and then you're able to play all evening and at the end of the evening you get to go home and put your plates on and go to work the next day, I guess, but maybe that ain't very likely.

No, So that's that's that's that's the way. That's the way it works, and it's going to go that way probably until somebody gets killed down there on Second or Pete Rose or in the light old tunnel, and then maybe somebody will start to draw some ordinances or something that we can deal with that. So if you had the City of Cincinnati, Jan Michael Michelle lemon

Kearney is saying, let let's let's let's give them a safe space. I think that would not work because those who do these kinds of things want to give the middle finger to the police into society, and if you give them exactly a safe place, they're gonna still burn out anyway. In other words, she doesn't understand how how life works. And Scottie Johnson, who on city council. You know, Scottie Johnson has lost his way. He was a good man with good judgment. Now he's gone left wing, he's gone

woke, he's lost his way completely. He's the one that ought to be saying, well, let's pass the organs that seizes the vehicle if they're apprehendive, which is quite like unlikely anyway. But getting back to your first point, why can't you chase someone who's inn I seventy one doing donuts in the light old tunnel with three o'clock in the morning. Why can't you chase him? Well, well, you took a trip back in time. I'll take a trip back in time nineteen eighty seven when I was a young twenty one

year old police and we could chase everybody for traffic violations whatnot. But society has learned across the country that you know, back to risk and reward. You kill an innocent family of four in an minivan on their way home, uh from soccer practice or something, and uh, you know that's that's not

a good deal. When you're chasing somebody for traffic. The cities on the hook for millions and millions, and as it should be, you know, Uh, we had to start using more common sense and common sense and our policies and procedures. And so I don't disagree that pursuits should be less common, but you know, at three am, when there isn't so many people out on the road, and you've got people deliberately like you said, putting

their middle finger to law and order. I would consider that that they'd be allowed to be pursued in some some uh, in some cases, because if you don't, they're gonna keep doing it, and so risk and reward. The risk on the other side is is that they keep acting more and more dangerously until somebody gets killed, and then everybody's going to scream, what are we doing? And I'm sorry. Jan Michelle is one of the sweetest ladies I've ever known to be in politics. Very nice lady, but she doesn't

get it. They're not doing that just for the thrills of spinning and burning. They're doing it for the thrills of saying, screw you, cops, screw you society. I can do as I please. What did I tell you before? Willie mask up, plates off? That's their thing. Maybe it's a nerverse, plates off, mask up. Whatever direction you want to take or whatever order the thing is, don't be identified. That's the rule. Don't be identified. Got there, do your thing? Take off?

I understand back in May that they did stop stick. A couple of these characters pulled up to them on segways, which is, you know, dangerous. But if they approach safely and they are able to stop stick them. But you know, I think lean and looting might have been the top crime that they were able to toss at somebody. And I don't even think that's stuck long term. So you know it's there. They're going to have to write some ordinances that are tough to make their property. You take that car,

you pound that car. That might work a little bit, but you got to identify him first, and that's tough. Maybe you drones. There's some different ideas out there, but in general, like I said, jam Micheltz, is not going to fly very good. Now. Secondly, you I also know from previous interviews that I would think there was a serious presence of coppers in downtown Cincinnati. And the answer you often gave me is there might be one O N E. Scout car and all of the business district

in Cincinnati. I would assume at three o'clock in the morning, there may be none. Can think none, no, no, no, I think there's I think there's usually two. You know, now they've got somebody locked up and they're doing some paperwork that there there might be two or three. What we learned when Terry McGuffey was down there was there was two and then Terry spoke up and he said, say, hey, sometimes I'm one.

I'm all by myself down there, and you know, it's it's it's one thing in the middle of the evening when a bunch of dinglings are going down there to act like like donkey butts. But then it's it's also another thing in the middle of the day when you have the population of the central business section. I don't I can't even imagine probably quadruples or ten times or something of that nature, because all the people that come there and work. You've

got to protect that community. You got to serve that community that serves Cincinnati with their tax dollars. And so sometimes we don't have hardly anybody at enter, and that's across the board. Will we just don't have the street cups that we used to have. Now, lastly, I want to do a good Eggs and interview with you in December, But what's been the saddest moment of your gosh, thirty five thirty six years in uniform, what's been your

saddest moment. Well, obviously it was when we lost policemen. I was off the night that Kevin Crown was killed, I was working out at Park and Canaan at the time. I would have been very close on that one, but the other ones that happened I was uh very close to and involved in. I was within the first ten cops that arrived when Hope and Jeter were killed. I actually carried Ron Jeter with some firemen out of the house

that they were killed in. Now Sunny Kim, I was on the opposite side of town, but uh, somebody coming off so identified me as responding when I said that I was, So they sent me up to UC hospital and I saw when when Sonny arrived and uh firefighters were or or were taking them off the back of the ambulance, and uh, there're just there was just so much, uh that was going on at that moment. The firefighters you could see they were they were professional, but they were they were very,

very excited. And when they brought him in and they start working on him, I tried to tried to hang in that uh day where they were working on him, but uh, you know, everybody had their limits and

and I had to step outside for a little bit. So that was that the Sonny Kim you know, I didn't know him real well, but one of my best friends was like his best friend, and I've lost that gentleman too, So you know, it's it's it's the people that you lose over the years, that you lose too early with it, and when they lost to violence, that's that's that's the hardest unspeakable, especially with an ambush killing like Sonny Kim and Madisonville. That was an ambush killing, that was a

targeted murder of a cop. Anyone that would have showed up would have had been confronted with firearm shooting at him, and that was particularly egregious, along with Pope and Jeter. All right, yeah, sure we'll continue, and once again, thank you for like thirty five years of service, Sergeant Dan

Hills. I think you have the solution of this fast and furious burnouts, which is confiscate the car, put them and put him on ice for six months, use drones to follow him, but I'm not sure city council wants to do that. Joe, we've got a rather unusual message. We understand that Tom Browning's wife Debbie has gone into labor. He has left the ballpark and the call apparently has just come up from the Red's clubhouse to make an appeal over our airwaves for Tom Browning to come back to the ballpark in the event that they have to use him to pitch tonight. Well, Tom, if you're listening,

r it happened to me once before they did. So, Tom, if you're listening to the broadcast, we've just gotten a word that from the Reds clubhouse that if at all possible, please get back to the ballpark in the event that they might need you. That sounds rather off the wall to me, given the fact that he's due to pitch on Friday night in Oakland. Oh hello, hello, quiet, and I'm spokes I'm broadcasting Archie. That was October seventeenth, nineteen ninety. Tom Browning was heavy. His third or

fourth baby, Number three is not as important as one. Correct. Well, I know that experience. He lost the third one at the Super Bowl game last year. Remember you were there? Yeah, I was there. Yeah. But the debbie's delivering. So what does he do? He leaves the ballpark? What a stupid idea? Would you agree? It's a touchy subject. So what do you do? Rick Stowe said, we need Tom Browning back. It was the second game that was one I think by Joe

Oliver down the third baseline as Billy Bates scores him. First name is Master, and so he said, put out the signal now to get back to the ballpark. And so before the age of the cell phone. Yes, yes, what would have happened if Tom had left the hospital christ and come to the ballpark and Debbie had the baby, which she did no issues, but you never know. Yeah, but what if the Reds needed to pitch? That's another seg. Your reaction to that one, then will you you

kind of go Babies are born every night? Oh the residentt get in the World Series every day. I don't even women see things out. I might be wrong. My wife had this. This is a big topic of discussion because you always comes up with NFL players, like you know, sometimes the guys are born on Sunday. I'm like, we can't miss a game. There's only at the time sixteen of them. Well, you only get the

birth of your child one time. Well, I was like, there's a number one or two, but three is like, yeah, you flip a coin. I don't know. I think it's a touchy subject, very touchy today's world. When men tend to lose this argument for sure, Yeah, what argument do we win? That's another good point, thank you. I've never won an argument and echo in here, but normally when I put clothes on in the morning, she says, you're not wearing that. I said, well, you know it's on me. Now, what would happened?

Wait a minute, now, hold on a minute. Last night about how big the package is? You went, you went to your avish event last night at the original Montgomery in raisings thousands of dollars for the Wildcats. You had something on and you and you left your house with that number. It was a number ten, number ten, number ten Deer Park jersey you wore seventy five years ago. How did you get out of your house with that on? And Penny saying you're not What did she say? You're not wearing

that? That's what I figured. I had the wrong shirt on. I had this shirt on, and she said, you can't wear that shirt. You're putting a jacket on, right. I said, no, I'm wearing my old Deer Park jersey number ten. You're not wearing that? Really you did, I'm going? I said, I got to put my foot down somewhere and say, look, I'm wearing my old Deer Park jersey. But I changed the shirt and I said, I don't look that bad. She said, you look terrible. I said I looked terrible. I said,

oh, what not? In a few minutes because we're going to be raking it in here. Baby, let's go, I'm going to do her money bingo. I said, look, I'm not going. I said, well, Uber, I'm leaving. Guess what. She walked down the door, sat in the car and just stewed for about ten minutes. Now, what would happen if you had turned her and say you're not wearing that? Are you? That's never happened. He'd be in the hospital. He'd be hospitalizing,

And we go, who wants to go visit Willie today? Rock Me, Sloaney, McConnell, Helen, Helen Thomas always had the first question, So tea but the great number fifty five and I say to Wilson the first question. Penny cunning in two hundred five got the first question. She said, uh, she said, I have a question, and I said, okay, Well go ahead. She said, I noticed on the last play of the game you appeared to be in a Cover two or maybe a Cover four, when it was obvious it was going to be a passing down.

Well, I weren't you in a nickel? And maybe do some stuff hunting in the interior alignment. He looked at her and said what what? And I said, and she said, well, Lou called a Cover four, but when they came out, came out they had five wide receivers, and so I switched to the nickel. And Penny said, now that made some sense, and the audience switched. Logan said, and the audience pass out. If he's going, what now, can you can you explain to seg

a cover two, a Cover four and a nickel? Now can you explain that? To say, Nicol was just as the use of a fifth defensive back. You take a linebacker out, you put a fifth defensive back. That was Logan. He was going back. In fact, he covered cup. I said, at the end of the game in the Super Bowl, when it's third and like twelve or something and cump, he fouls him supposedly a p I like on the five yard list. He said, that was awful. And I said to him, did the officials won a los ange

his team to win rather than the Bengals team? He said, I I don't want to say, I said, but I say that I did not. It would have been fourth and twelve. Then what There were so many more egregious calls that weren't called this past weekend I watched a bunch of games in that call drew. The penalty came on, and it decided the outcome of the seasons right entirely allow your whistle in those situations. Yes, but the NFL, in my opinion, did not want the Bengals to win the

Super sort of a guy grab them and throw them to the ground. Let the players do. But Logan was not happy with that. No, and he would have won the Super Bowl. In fact, let me tell you one other story. He's sitting there waiting for the call and his agent sitting with him. Agent says, you don't want to play for Cincinnati? He said, I said, I don't know where it is. He said, it's out east. You know you don't want to play. It's bad Cincinnati

Bengals. It's twenty nineteen. So the next up was Kansas City and he's thinking Super Bowl Champion number thirty two, come number one. The phone rings. Agent says, you're going to go to the Super Bowl Champs. He said, oh great, picks it up and it's Zach Taylor, he says, and he said I quickly had to get Ah. I'm so excited, God, he said, I'm so excited, and is Patrick Mahomes. No, it's Zack tayl Oh. I'm sorry. He said, you got the

wrong number. He said, you're going to be a Bengal, and ag is going on the Bengals, he said, within a year, he said. And then when Joe got hurt in Game eleven, it was like, here we go again. The Bengals were like, what were they his first season? Here Joe? Something not good? And then Joe goes down right. But the next year they get Chase Yeah, and he signed then the

thirty six million dollar contract extension. Then Penny asked him one other question, you want to hear the next question, should the quarterback of the notice, yes, make the same as the quarterback of the offense. I imagine his answer was yes, but it only makes one tenth one tenth, which is still not bad. We are not bad. Thirty six ain't bad. Now here's my second question. Are you ready? Is the question? What are you ready for? This question? We had a strong ahead on jan Michelle

lemon Kearney on the Uh Fast and Furious Donuts burnouts. Yes, and she said maybe hooning. It's called hooning. Hooning, hooning, not that kind of hooting, but it's called spooning. I thought it was donuts hooning. So she says, maybe we should take take them out to the Hamlin County Fair in Carthage and let them have fun out there. I said, that's not the point that points the middle finger to the police to point of have it, have it it? Point isn't to be organized. So in in

Middletown, maybe in Harrison, what happens of large groups? This is I seventy one at one point in the little tom blocking I seventy one for thirty minutes, and then the other one say second and race in front front of the stadium in the middle of the night doing donuts. And according to the police I had on Dan Hills. He said, we're told not to do

anything? Why why not? So wrongdoing goes unpunished. Absolutely, So what would happen if I'm traveling down the street and a cop pulls me over and I say, nope, I'm not gonna get not gonna Pull'm not gonna pull over. Is that give me a license now to just say hell with it.

You can't chase me, You're not chasing anybody. I'm thinking, well, I mean, at some point people that do obey the law are gonna say, well, hell with this, I'm foolish if I just pull over and turn myself in one that's not expected when the other guy does it, well, apparently they got face man, they got face mask on, and they duct tape their license plates so you can't see a punishable offense. Yes, cover up your license plate, put up a drone. Let's follow them

wherever they go and arrest them. And the who said they can't? Who is it? The mayor? Why? Safety director? The city manager longer said we don't, don't. We don't do that. All right, Next time I get pulled over or I see the lights, I'm just gonna keep driving because the same thing. I'm going to go to the store, because apparently you just steal stuff and the employees are told not to not to do

anything. I'm just gonna start just gonna take whatever I want. Let me give you one other piece of evidence before we go on to the assaults on Notre Dame twenty five years ago. Now what I got to come up with something twenty five or thirty years ago? You know about room? You ever ever been in Roome in the Hamley County? Uh? Justice center. That's where the criminals go where it all happens. The day after you're arrest, you're in room ay and the first a bar in front of judge. They

set a bond. The copper there saying, oh, this is what segment did, Did this? Did that? That's where that guy reads the charges. You understanding it? Yeah? And uh, twenty five thirty years ago, there were two young blonde prosecutors there, Missy Powers Yep and Penny Cunningham, and they said we would have two to three hundred cases. Get out of there about one o'clock in the afternoon to go into the It was two hundred and fifty people on the side, lawyers, bail bond projects, defense

counsel, public defenders, mental health people. They were all there setting the box. Now you have ten to fifteen cases instead of two hundred and fifty with more people. Why that's my point To Dan Hills, he said, I was part of the same process. He said. The police don't arrest

anybody. We're told if someone's smoking pot and Fountain Square, Liam Malone, if someone's committing violent acts, if they committed violent act, maybe other than that, we let them go. I said, well, who's telling you to do that, he said, city leaders, so they don't out and so a non violent act goes unpunished. So you're about to just steal with impunity and nothing happens. That's what's happening again. At some point, good honest people are saying, well, I like being a good honest person,

but I'm not gonna be a fool. I paid for stuff. I'm gonna pay for this. When this guy and that guy and that guy just walking out there, nothing happens. Man, That is how society falls. I think we break down. If that happened in Harrison, what would happen, I think I don't know anymore. I think it would it would go punished, but you don't know what it would have happened here at Sycamore, Twip, talk to the park, talk to Tom Weidman or the park. I

would hope you'd be arrested. But room Ay takes the cases from Sycamore Township, Deer Park, Harrison, all over Hamilton County with seventy five percent in the city. But all the all the crimes that happened in those jurisdics they get, they get gone down. The ones that happened in the city. Nothing happened. Nothing. What you're saying, Yeah, I'd be in Sheriff Jones, go to room May. Go to Room May and watch what happens. Hey take it. Two hundred and fifty people and it's a big deal.

Now there's no I had about four months ago a friend of mine had a problem. I go down there. David Wood's the prosecutor. I go up to Dave. It's quarter to nine. I said, where is everybody? Said? What do you mean? I said? He said, this is the way this every day. Nobody's here, no cops, No one gets arrested, No one gets arrested. I'm going look, and who's fault

is that? Political leaders who tell the cops don't arrest cite them. So what do they say if if you do arrest people for you know, breaking the law that is on the books, and they maybe sign your job. Yeah, but don't don't arrest them for warnings? What I cite them without arresting them? Do? Well, that means you have to report a week or two, that report and then yeah no, because and then the rep's downted. They get a kpiist and at that point, uh, they used

to when a cop had nothing to do. He'd pick up a handful of capiuses and go out and try to find somebody. Dan Hill says, we don't do that anymore. I said, so you don't arrest people, and you don't have this stack of warrants. So were you supposed to arrest somebody? Said, we don't do that? I said, what do you do? He said, well, well, he breaks down waiting for that railroad money. Yeah, that's a that's a terrible idea of selling that thing. I'd say, I say, sell it and sell it. If we had

a competent government, I would say yes. If this if it was Warren County that wanted to sell, and they're like, actually respond So they would say, you're rolling this whole thing back. But do you are you confident that the city leadership is going to spend that money in a proper waynok me in the eye and say that are you for the sale? I have no idea. I like one point six billion dollars pastor sit and felled. Who

would have going to replace them? They're the trustees of the money. I'm just saying that what it is. Again, say everything you're thinking out loud. Okay, for the Salem. Again, if it was Warren County, I was selling the railroad and David Young and all those people were in charge. I say, okay, yeah, they're going to use that money on infrastructure projects and nothing else, and they'll do it at the bottom bottom line budget. Sort of, let's go. It's not going to happen here.

Your reaction, will he? The Student Reporter is a proud service.
