Time to recharge in very, very cold weather and the results are exasperated. The last two or three winners, we've had somewhat of a mideld winter, but right now it's kind of back to normal in which we have a cold spell of under zero when it comes to the wind show and the fact that there's not enough charging stations publicly to handle the demand means that it can take
two to four hours to a recharge your vehicle. And of course, according to the experts on CNBC this morning is Dale Donovan knows that when it's below twenty degrees that the batteries lose twenty to forty two percent of their ability to take a charge because of cold temperatures. Once again, the man, the myth, the legend, the man who owns Mcenteewall country Club, soon to change his name the Donovan country Club is the one Dale Donovan, Dale Donovan
under a hood somewhere in pleasant Ridge. This afternoon. Welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. Dale Donovan. How are you, good, Willie? How you doing doing well? Let's go the four or five issues. How's that golf game? You know golf ball won't go as far either in the cold weather either. What goes better when it's zero? I think nothing except ice fishing. But over the last twenty thirty years, you've seen it all and you've done it all. You've built a great small business. You employ a
lot of people. You've been under more hoods than Robin. You know exactly where the bodies are buried, from pleasant Ridge to Blue Ash. What you do is fixed cars and work hard, work smart with your hands and with your head. You have dozens of employees that repair these things, including evs. Give me the two or three reasons from Dale Donovan's book as to why not to buy an EV. You know this is a great question, Willie.
First of all, think about it. When you buy an EV, all right, the best scenario is you better have a garage to keep it in, okay, because those things. You know, if you've got an EV and it's sitting outside and it's sitting in that you know, nice cold weather in the wind, and it's got ice on it. And then you know that a lot of the tessels out there have the automatic door handles that pop up also you're charging. When you go to charge it, you got
to pop the little door open. And if there's ice all over that that won't work. You have to start your car up first, and you gotta let it warm up before you can even do any of those. Okay, So you got to make sure that you have the ideal situation where you're gonna keep your EV car in a garage, So you gotta make sure that you got the space. So that's one disadvantage. A lot of people don't have
garages and then they keep their cars outside. So you've got to make sure that you know, and I would highly advise if someone's gonna have an electric car, then you've got to go ahead and put the charger on as well. You got to put the charger on at your house. Now that can get quite expensive depending on how far away they got to run that service from
their electrical box, so that can get kind of expensive as well. So you know, there's just there is a lot of negatives, and people did not realize any of that because when they were talking to the salesperson then they were getting the great deal on the car, and test to lower their price on a lot of their cars, and they go ahead and snatch them all up, and then all of a sudden, we got a nice cold winter snap just like you said. I mean, you know where were they selling
these things and making these things? Or out of California. By the way, I did get I got a picture of a guy today sent to me. It's a picture of a plant where they're making batteries here in America or parts of the battery or something. And man, you should have seen the pollution that thing was pumping out a lot, a lot. Well, I'm looking at a study by something called the Journal of Industrial Ecology. Maybe that's
one of your favorite reading books at night. The Journal of the Industrial ecologe Ecology adjusted for the effect of temperature and fuel efficiency, tracking vehicles over a twenty five year lifetime, categorizing every vehicle by size, range, and type, accounted for different evy charging behaviors, exploring the call of ownership, and fourteen cities across America that they want to over an eighteen month period examine ten
thousand cars and then made twenty percent of it to be EV's. They wanted to know if, according to University of Michigan Center for Sustainable Systems, whether it is cheaper to own and ev than a gas powered vehicle. They came to the conclusion it's not cheaper. It's more expensive to own when you take into account all the elements of car ownership that all of us are familiar with.
I spoke to a car dealer in call Your County, Florida, who told me that a Ford dealer they do not take in evs anymore in trade. And I said, why not hurts because hurts? How many hurts? Twenty thousand evs have hurts. They've dumped into the system saying nobody wants them. They can't drive. You can't be in Florida or Utah or Michigan and driving around with these things because you have to stop every two or three hours, and if it's called, you got to stop for an hour. And
then no one has four hours a day. But he said, the value of these cars on the secondary market has plummeted. And when they get an EV, the first thing they do is send it to auction. Explain that process. Yeah, well, can you imagine this, will you? I mean, it's hard enough for people getting a rental car, and you know they're talking about, you know, buying the gas priee when you take an EV, when you rent an EV. Because I had a friend of mine
rented one and He's like, I'll never do that again. It was, and he goes, I gotta have a charge. I got to keep getting a charge. There's no place here to get a charge. And you know I need to you know, when I return it, it's got to be so much of a charge left in it. And he says, it's been an absolute nightmare as far as you know, trying to keep the same charge. And it's you know, the other thing that you know, these cars
they know everything about you, they know where you are. You know, Let's say, let's say down the road where everybody's driving their little electric cars. Someone in the big guy goes, hey, you're driving too much. What you can't drive that much anymore. We're gonna shut your car down. We're not going to let you drive. Boy, think that could happen. I bet it can. Yeah, that's some day it might happen the government or or or maybe you're driving too fast. Oh we're gonna have to slow
you down. You're driving way too fast. Who needs police officers out on the roads when you know they can, you know, you know, check your or slow your car down if they have till right, or secondly, simply send you a ticket. In the mail saying that such is such a time you were driving ten above the speed limit, and therefore, here's your ticket paid immediately. By twenty twenty six, there's a kill switch going to be mandated by the Biden administration in every brand new car twenty twenty six has
the ability. The government has the ability to shut your vehicle down. They're tired of police chases. One thousands of one percent of us may go into police chase. They want to shut the car down, or if you're driving too fast, they can shut the car down. So the Apartment of Transportation, which is shut down your car a new one starting in twenty twenty six
to month to your driving. When you had on to Pete Budajedge about two months ago, I watched him saying that too many Americans have the temperature in their house too high. It shouldn't be seventy or seventy two, it should
be sixty four degrees. And so that means with these smart thermostats, think and monitor the temperature inside your house, how fast you drive your car, what kind of what light bulb to put in a lamp, how much how many ounces of water to have in your toilet, that's where we are, because in twenty twenty six, they're gonna have a kill switch on Dale Donovan's new car. What about that one? Yeah, how do you like that? That's terrible, isn't it. I mean, you know, just the
freedoms seem to be getting less and less correct. Yes, our freedom. You know. Here's the other thing is you know, I like, you know, they're they're okay, there's fine. I mean, there's you know, Tesla's fine. You know a lot of people have it. The hybrids are very very nice because you got both the best of both worlds, right,
you know. But you know, these electric cars, you got to make sure that you take everything into consideration when you buy the It's okay to have one and use it locally, but man, if you want to take a long trip, Let's say, let's say you said, all these people in Chicago, someone's got his wife's pregnant. She goes in blame. Uh huh, oh boy, you better call a gas powered uber. We'll take
your way to the hospital. Well, the other issue out of out of Grove Park, Illinois, which is the suburb of Chicago, is at half the charging stations of Tesla don't work when it's cold, because they get moisture in the lines, And there's other reasons why I won't hook up. And it costs a lot of money to recharge your vehicle. But if you wait an hour or two and you come up and it doesn't work, then get back in line to the next person. What do you do? What about
towing? I've had some toe operators say we won't tow an EV anymore because of the additional weight and the fear of some damage and going back and being sued for thousands of dollars. Explain the towing business when it comes to an EV. Well, I have you know, I don't see a lot of them. I know up in Chicago they had a lot of them that had to be towed. You know that. I have not heard it, but
I would say probably the biggest thing. I mean, they are extremely heavy, and you know, you know that they've had some problems with some batteries catching fire, especially with water, right you know, how about if you're in a flood zone where you know you're EV if it you know, gets up to the battery which is on the bottom of the car, so as soon as it goes up, you know, halfway up the wheel. Your batteries underwater could short out, could cause a fire. So there's another problem.
I mean, I don't know if you've ever seen. There's a picture I solve someone tanker bringing taking a bunch of electric cars somewhere and they're all on fire because water splashed up over the brick and ship and got into the batteries and caught the cars on fire. All of them burned to the burnt
down. I had another a car salesman tell me they wouldn't buy an EV because so many catch on fire inside the garage of your own home, that is, you plug it in. It cost about five thousand dollars the additional ability to fire it up overnight, and they catch fire to higher numbers than gasoline powered cars for one reason or another, and this possibility. Like in California in July and August, they told people, do not use your chargers.
The power grid is being being stressed out here, and don't plug in your car right now. In Texas they're asking people the power grid is in jeopardy and they're urging people not to use the electricity right now in the state of Texas. Well, what happens if there's an emergency and you want to get in your car and drive somewhere because you have to, and you don't have a charge. What do you do? You're out of luck, you know. You know That's the other thing, Willy is you know the Americans
were forced into this whole thinking of buying the electric cars. I mean, you know, the batteries aren't made here. They're made by child slave labor. You know the batteries are you know, it's you know, not produced here, It's produced in China. This is we're giving China jobs, not American jobs, for the cars. And they do have a but you know
another alternative. I mean, these gas cars are getting unbelievable gas mileage and they get better and better every single year, and there is other alternatives than electric cars. Okay that you know that Toyota is working on as well as you know some of the American manufacturers. So you know, I just I just don't think that them forcing it down our throats is the right way to do it. Look at this right, because it's a hybrid at Toyota Siena
from Joseph. Toyota gets about forty miles to a gallon. Forty miles to the gallon. And you and I grew up in Cincinnati Dale Donovan when there was pollution everywhere. In fact, we were told do not drink or eat anything out of the Ohio River, and there was a small constant condition over the valley between Covington and Clifton because of all the smog. Right now we have the cleanest air and the cleanest water we've had in one hundred years,
and every year it gets better. And using a hybrid or going to hydrogen vehicle, which is what Toyota's thinking about doing, makes a whole bunch of sense, but it doesn't fit the politics of the day. So politics that is left wing Marxist social politics. Drives the idea that average Americans have to spend fifty thousand dollars for a vehicle that has no trade in value, that
may set their house on fire and won't work when it's cold. That sounds like a great government deal to me, just like everything in the government. Man, they got great ideas' theoretically in theory. In theory, in theory they And then the other issue is, of course the weight, the cost, the resale, the charging time, the towing, and it's getting worse, not better until we have dilithium crystals from Star Trek the next generation.
Unless we find di lithium crystal somewhere, Let's have hydrogen, let's have hybrid, let's get the bridge over troubled waters. Until we find that miracle source of cold nuclear fusion. Whatever that's going to take ten to twenty years, just let it happen, right, Yeah, they will come out with something. They will come out with it. That's what that's what we do in America, right, we figure things out. Right. Well, lastly, you know, lastly, Dale Donovan, you know everything about cars from the
license plate all the way to the back bumper. Would you or your family member in this climate at this time in twenty twenty four ever buy a fully electric vehicle. No, I will not do it right now. They're not there. Maybe in ten years, maybe fifteen years, maybe in ten years, twenty years, but right now it's just it's just not feasible, you know, it's just not It's not a good choice right now. So that's my thoughts. Willie, Well, good luck at the club this summer.
When will you have segment and I over to play golf at the Donovan Country Club formerly known as Mcinteewah, it's wide open tomorrow. Are you available? No. In fact, I think it's gonna be colder. I think through the weekend. I think on Sunday it's gonna be like two with a windshill of minus fourteen. That's perfect ev weather. Can't wait, can't wait, Dale, Donovan, good luck during the summertime, Willie. We'll go play
golf. We'll go play golf for money. I'm going to try to win, try, but we're gonna play golf for money this time, a lot of money, Dale Donovan, Dale, Donovan Tyre knows all about cars. Thank you, Dale. Let's continue with more. The line becomes available five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand or pounds seven hundredth new at and T Bill cunning under Great American with your every day You're home with the bear Cats who charging the court, Xavier winning again and maybe

The NFL postseason plays here one hundred dollars over here. Coverage begins Sunday at two thirty eight on seven

Visit Rumky dot com or call one eight hundred. All right, nothing better than the skyline here and there plus Montgomery and Ribs. Dean Gregory tells me All you Can Eat continues through today twenty nine to ninety five.
All you Can Eat Ribs, Diano Gregory and Tom Gregory in charge. After one o'clock today we have Eric Wood and Eric is the Dave Lapham of the Buffalo Bills. And as you may know, everything in the world is connected somehow to Cincinnati, and Eric Wood is a Cincinnati and his family's fully inculcated
with the fibric within the fabric of this community. He went to Elder for four years, graduated with honors along with Johnny Craft and many others, and then goes on to Louisville University thereof and becomes an All American of sorts, a first round draft choice of the Buffalo Bills alignment, spends about nine or ten years there, and then he becomes the color analyst of your Buffalo Bills.
Only in America could a team like Buffalo, which is the fortieth or forty fifth largest area in the country, could have a team like the Bills. Like Cincinnati, We're like thirty three and we have the Bengals if they started fresh again. An award at thirty two NFL franchises, I'm not sure a Buffalo and Cincinnati would get any of them, but nonetheless, history is indicated that we haven't. And that's the most valuable sports franchise in America.
And the Brown family, Paul Brown's Progeny, etc. Mike Brown, etc. Have a franchise probably worth three to four billion dollars, by far the richest family in the Tri State. And it's because so many people on the watch and so many want to go to the game. And of course we hope Joe Burrow Quit's getting injured many times, not of his own doing at all. It's just some players are just struck with the injury bug. And the last four years, he'said, four major incidents take place, and we'll
see what happens next year. As we continue the wind is open the next two or three years, we'll see what occurs there. Then Also later on I have on Steve Molloy calling in from the American Energy Institute about what's happening with man made global warming causing climate change. I had a brief conversation this morning with another expert and going back and forth about what's occurring. And whenever it's hot in the summertime, the media tells it tells us as the result
of man make global warming. But when it's cold in the winter time, in fact really cold in the wintertime, global warming has got everything to do with that too. So if it's cold as global warming, and if it's hot as global warming, if it strives global warming, it's what is global It's always global warming, because follow the money, that's where the money is.
I told a friend of mine this morning, there was a time when there was an ice flow from the Arctic, A shelf came off that stopped just north of Cincinnati, and that happened about fifteen thousand years ago, and the ice sheet was as thick as a mile straight up scraped Ohio flat, which is why it is such great farmland, and also parts of Pennsylvania Indiana.
Then he over thousands of years, receded. So in geologic history, there was a time when the average temperature in the Arctic was fifty five degrees and cold blooded animals could survive. There was a time when the Equator was filled with sheets of ice and snow. The Earth goes through millions of years of cycles where it's a snowball, and all of a sudden there's a fear of man made global warming, and this started about thirty or forty years ago.
With pollution. Of course, pollution has been Do you like pollution? I know, I don't. The pollution problem in America hasn't largely been resolved because of all the epas and the additional costs put on. So we don't have to worry about the Ohio River being polluted, or looking across from Clifton int Covington and seeing nothing but small it doesn't exist. We've solved the pollution
problem, but see the EPA. The Democrats, the academics, the liberals couldn't stop there saying, Okay, we've got to disband the EPA right now or keep an eye on things because their mission has been fulfilled. You can't do that. I have to keep pumping money out. And those in charge of the checkbook need more studies and more opportunities, more exemptions, more exclusions
that need more benefits. And whoever has control of the checkbook, and Washington determines public policy, right and so right now there's about a ninety five percent money spent on one side of the political equation and not on the other. And the Trumpster gets in there in twenty seventeen, and it's hopeful that he can shake things up in Washington. But the official Washington depot water swamp creatures arose and said, we can't have this guy coming into the presidency horizontally,
that is, having never been in public office before. The only president ever to serve having not been in the military nor have been in politics before, is Donald Trump. And so they viciously attacked him repeatedly, and there were some times the Trumpster gave them reasons to do so that if it was a Democrat, would be quickly ignored, but with the Trumpster, it was not ignored. And wanted to tie him down, impeach him, convict him,
remove him from office, do whatever. He sue him hundreds of times and died him ninety one time, spend the rest of his life in jail. It continues ad nauseum. In fact, today is the funeral of his mother in law, Malania's mother. And yesterday he asked the judge, and that's silly, Jean Carrol defamation trial in New York City, could you delay the trial for one day because my mother in law is dead. I'm going to the funeral. And the judge said, no, no, you'd be here.
I can only imagine if say, Bill Clinton's mother in law had died, whether the judicial system would have been over backwards to take care of the Clintons. They don't bend at all for Donald Trump. And because he now knows where the bodies are buried, and he knows what he wants to do with the echelon of the FBI, the CIA if he is reelected and takes office, Katie barred the door because the media will then triple quadruple down on
destroying Donald Trump by any means necessary. In fact, I said a few weeks ago, the most amazing thing about the Donald is that his health at this point seems to be holding up. This man is seventy eight years old, and he's had some multiple health difficulties in the past, and I can't
imagine the press of the issues upon his brow. I can't imagine how much pressure he's under from ninety one felony counts from idiotic prosecutors, many of whom had bought and paid for and they have coordinated their activities which is illegal, especially Fanny Willison in Atlanta, hundreds of different lawsuits being accused of rape when the so called victim, Jean Carroll thirty some years ago, cannot name the time to place the occasion when anybody was wearing She simply claims in a New
York jury that she was in a department store and that Trumpster tapped her on the shoulder. Suddenly he raped her in a dressing room. And there's no report of it at all. And she's been given by New York jury's at this point five million. She might get ten million more because get Trump in front of a jury in New York or Atlanta or Washington, DC, guess what he's going to be convicted And only about thirty percent of American electorates say
that if he is convicted of a felony, they'd vote for him. So, by any means necessary, the next few months, the Democrats who cause all this to transpire are going to work very hard to make sure that the Trumpster stands at trial in front of a democratically pic jury and get convicted. To pray to God that he doesn't take the presidency, and he would be a severe, profound problem for the deep State and the head of these alphabet
soup agencies. And it's sad. And as this is going on, we're told, we're told that the Trumpster and Republicans are a quote threat to democracy. Whatever is said is the fear that liberal, progressive Marxist Democrats have is what they're doing. They're the threat to democracy. They're the authoritarians. So they want to project on the opposition the results of their own behavior, which
is sick and it's sad, and it's what's happening today in America. In fact, the DOJ has been so weaponized that if you're a practicing Roman Catholic. The FBI sent around a memo out of the Richmond, Virginia office to infiltrate Catholic organizations in order to see if they're victimized by domestic terrorists. So, if you're a Christian, if you're a fundamentalist, if you're religious,
the FBI wants to look into you. The FBI arrest pro life activist put them on trial if the Ninja Wars show up at someone's home in the morning and hault someone out of a house because they marched and protested in front of an abortion clinic. And the FBI denounces parents who protest pornography and transgender bathrooms and children's schools and call them domestic terrorists. So if you think child porn
should not be in a library, then you're the problem. If you think that teenage boys should not shower with teenage girls in locker rooms and schools, well guess what, you're the problem. The FBI the top of it says you're the problem. It's absurd. What is happening. And so what's occurred is that Donald John Trump is a vessel for many things. One of them
is conservative politics that he practices. Look at the three Supreme Court justices and the rest of those who support Donald Trump have added up to hear over the years with what they see is wrong with politics in America today, many Americans are sick of politics. Can't watch it, can't look at it, whether it's cn N or MSNBC. When the Trumpster speaks, they screen him and will not put them on their air because they don't want you to hear what
he has to say. I'm on a plane coming back from Fort Myers and I'm trying to watch the outcome Monday night of the Caucuses, and CNN played it for like two minutes and dumped out of it with some ridiculous excuse, and MSNBC did not play it at all. They want to determine for you what you can see, what you can read, and what you can hear. And that's the same thing that happens in Russia with Vladimir Putin. He will not put on his opposition on any media channel in Russia. And the
same thing's happening right here in America with Donald Trump. And who are the authoritative ones? Who are the ones that are a threat to democracy? It is not mega Republicans, It's they who criticize about the behavior of which they engage. It's ridiculous, and so the American dream is not available to twenty somethings right now, buying a home, even through a great mortgage company like McKinley, it's difficult. It's done, But it used to be. It
was progression from high school. Maybe a college meet a guy, meet a girl, get married, start having kids, and get a four bedroom home somewhere and around Elder High School, where Eric what and his family are from. It's kind of the dream. But now interest rates continue to rise end fall. The cost of building a home is confiscatory, and baby boomers don't want to leave what they have because they can't back in line to get a
different house. It's too expensive to build. The American dreams not available, and how's that possible? In America? Part of it is the collapse of our southern border, which Democrats have headquartered to replace you with Democratic voters on public assistance. It's called the replacement theory. When they engage in replacement theory
politics, what do they do? They blamed the Republicans for replacement theory politics when they're the ones practicing it, and even black folks have now figured it out. In Iowa, the Trumpster, according to the des Moines Registered Pool, did extremely well In fact, Donald Trump won among those who were college educated. He won among those who were not college educated. The Trumpster won
self described conservatives and self described moderates. He won the urban vote, He won the suburban vote, He won the rural vote, men and women. He won with older Americans and younger voters, and now black males support him thirty five percent. Immigration was the top issue because we're losing our country completely. Wherese Abraham Lincoln spoke of that many many years ago about when America would
fall. It would not be because of some foreign power. He said, not one enemy soldier whoever set foot in the Blue Ridge or drink out of the Ohio River. If in one America fails. Despite the protestations of Patrick Swayze and Red Dawn, when America fails, it will be suicide. It will be self destruction by the politics and policies of the ruling elite of which you and I are not a part, And they want to keep control of
the media and determine that you cannot hear about the Trumpster. When the media speaks about rock ribbed, hard core conservative Republicans, the far wing of the Republican Party, you never refer to it a Democrat as an extremist. The media only refers that language for Republicans, and we figured it out. That's why, among other reasons, the Trumpster's gonna win Ohio this time by ten
percentage points. He is the nominee of the Republican Party, and the media acts as if that Nicky Haley or Ron de Santis have a shot of a Vake Ramaswami. No, not at all. Donald Trump versus someone is going to be the ticket for November, and Joe Biden. If the polling continues this bad, the Democrats will get rid of him and substitute out either Gavin Newsom or Michelle Obama. I'll say it again, I got many bets out of hot FUDG Sundays. Joe Biden will not make it to November fifth of
this year, either because he's going to tumble down the steps. They're going to find out more of the corruption and the bribery's charges will be real against the Biden family that they've ignored and the media ignores it completely, or there's going to be some other event that will transpire and the Democratic Party will say to Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, go get out of here. We got
somebody else. But if it doesn't happen, Donald Trump will win the presidency in November, because too many of us have figured out with the elite, the Yaka Domitians, the government, the echelon of the FBI, the CIA have done to us, what's happening with media and DEI. We figured it out. Black males are going to vote for Donald Trump because they can't take
it anymore. They understand. Even Charlemagne the God has said basically he's not going to vote for another Democrat because of what the Democratic Party's done to the Black community. And they it's being figured out. It's taken some time, but look around. Are you happy with your circumstances, then quit voting for those who continue the same policies that put you in the position in which you find yourself now. So we'll see what happens. After one o'clock today will
be Eric Wood, who is the Dave Lapham of your Buffalo bills. And after two o'clock we schedule Steve Molloy of the American Energy Institute. And that's some terrible weather this weekend. Of course, cold weather is a sign of global warming. You understand that everything is because that's what's paid. You get paid, and guess what it works. And lastly, I'm watching the report this morning out of Pakistan that it appears that Iran and Pakistan may go to
war. They're bombing each other. I'm thinking, what in the hell is going on? And for the last four days, Joe Biden cannot be located with a search warrant. He's had no public appearances, issued, no statements. What's wrong with Joe Biden. Well, he's eighty one years old and he's frail and elderly. It's like a retirement center. He's being taken care of. He's propped up on a horse like El Sid having been killed, and he's running around leading the battle. And Joe Biden's presidency is a joke.
Hell, it makes Jimmy Carter look good. Let's continue with more Troll fifty five Home of Your Reds and Bengals Pictures and Catchers, reported in about three weeks. And believe it or not, Red's opening day is coming up the end of March, and I will be there with my great speech more once again. Five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand, Keep Hope alive. Help is on the Way Bill Cunningham News Radio seven hundred WLW. A good day starts with a good morning. Here's Tony.
He's an early riser who likes to ease into his day. Tony pours himself a strong cup of Joe, grabs a biscotti, and turns on Mike McConnell. Good Morning. Tony knows Mike will start his day with everything he needs, the latest news, whether traffic, sports, money, news, and Mike's cutting with and magical charm like Tony always has. When you've got a biscotti and McConnell, you're in heaven. Mike McConnell Tomorrow morning at five
on seven HUNDREDLW. If you're hiring, it can feel like you're trying to find Joe Burrow healthy. Who knows what would have happened the Buffalo Bills. I've adopted them as my new favorite team in the National Football League playoffs because of their status. Between the Bengals and the Bills, they've been in seven Super Bowls seven and the collective record is zero and seven. So at some point Josh Allen will take someone, maybe the Bills of the Promised Land or
JB. Joey Burrow will take us to the Promised Land. But one connection we have in Buffalo. As you know, everything that happens in the world, everything has his Cincinnati connection. Somehow Someway and Eric Wood went to Elder High School. He was a Panther and then goes to Louisville, the home of the Cardinals, and then is the first round draft choice of your Buffalo Bills and spent many years in NFL, hardly had an injury, and then
he transferred to the broadcast booth where he is now. He's the Dave Lapham of the Buffalo Bills. And Eric woold, welcome to the Bill Cunningham Show. And Eric, how are you. I'm doing great? And that was one heck of an intro. I appreciate that, and we will take you as a even if it's just temporary as a member of the Bills Mambia through this playoff run. And yeah, there's so many ties in so many similarities.
I said from the second I got to Buffalo that it reminded me of where I grew up on the West side of Cincinnati, just you know, the people, the area reminded me of that, and so I felt that home from the second I got up there, and a lot of parallels between the organizations as well. Cincinnati a bigger market than Buffalo, but still when you look at the landscape of the LA's and the New York's and the Chicago's, it's a smaller market when in the grand scheme of things. So a
lot of parallels there. And you know, you mentioned Joe Burrow and Josh Allen. You know, to me, when you look around the landscape, especially the AFC and the young quarterbacks and not in those mega cities we talked about, it's a special time. I believe in the in the National Football League right now. And you gotta be tough because Buffalo. I think Scott Sloan I talked to him an hour and a half ago and he's leaving after his show tomorrow to drive a Buffalo back home, much like Mary and Joseph
going back to Bethlehem. And I said, I said, Buffalo. People make fun of Buffalo, people make fun of a little bit fun of Detroit and Cincinnati, kind of small market teams. But the ethic, the work to live in Buffalo, you got to be a tough ass. He tells me that it snowed in an additional thirty inches the last two days. So, as we said here this Thursday afternoon, how bad is the weather in
Buffalo right now? It's bad. I mean to the point where there was a travel band yesterday and they had you know, when the travel band did, then the players are able to come to the facility. They're already dealing with only six days rest because of the delay of the game, and then you get dumped on snow again. And these guys that are trying to get their bodies back and need to be at the facility a for game planning and practice, but also you get their bodies back at a world class facility.
You know, it's it's tough, but you know what, it's gonna be one heck of a story if they can continue this epic run they're on, having won six in a row, backs against the walls six and six, a lot of injuries and offensive coordinator change and the works, Sean McDermott with a smear piece, trying to smear his character right in the midst of struggling mid season. And then they come out of the back end with their backs against the wall with a five game win streak to get the two seed,
and then here they are in the second round of the playoffs. Unbelievable. Well, the thing is, is Taylor Swift coming? Because I heard reports maybe of some relationship between Josh Allen and Taylor Swift? Is that possible? Is there some cheating going on? I don't know if they're cheating, but I mean, I don't even want to make a joke on Travis because I've known him since his UC days. My older buddies played with him and Jason
at UC. So I don't even want to make too big of a joke about that because I feel bad joking about a buddy of mine's serious girlfriend. But is she coming? So she I would assume, you know, playoff game potentially be Travis's last game of the season, and I'm sure Bill's will give her a warm Well, I can only imagine if she's up on some video when Kelsey catches a touchdown pass. What's gonna happen this weekend is gonna be unbelievable kind of break it down? Eric Wood that Dave lap him in
the Buffalo Bills tell us about the team six and six going nowhere. There were rumors the head coach gonna go Josh Allen is not as good as you thought he was. You have the big story last year, a couple of years DeMar Hamblin was a big story in January year ago, kind of break down. Tell the American people, Tell the elder faithful here in Cincinnati, what Buffalo is gonna be like on Sunday. Buffalo will be a fun atmosphere.
Many Cincinnati fans came up for the playoff game last year. It's not as good of an atmosphere as there is in the NFL to experience, and so that atmosphere will be incredible on Sunday, and it's gonna be a good game these teams. Kid City's had our number in the playoffs, and besides one win by Mahomes in the regular season in Buffalo where there was no fans in the stands during COVID, he has been able to beat Buffalo during the regular season. So the Bills get it done in the regular season, have
been able to get it done in the playoffs. But each time it's been at Arrowhead and they've come down to the wire. And so this is gonna be a good matchup this week. Kansas City is not necessarily the traditional Kansas City team that we've seen in the past. They have an offense that runs kind of middle of the pack in the NFL, which is kind of off brand for Andy Reid and Patrick Mahomes. But their defense is top two in the league, and so they've invested a ton of draft capital on that side
of the ball. And that's who's carrying this football team right now. And then this Bills team, they caught some energy and a resurgence. They switched offensive cores Joe Brady, they got healthier towards the end of the season, they got dinged up last week against Pittsburgh. The team that is playing its
best football at the right time. And so when you look at the course of an NFL season, especially when you're on the inside inside those walls, it feels like an eternity and it's kind of a Okay, we got to get through the regular season and obviously want to be peeking at the time, and it seems like the Bills are doing that. And of course the Bills
took apart the Dolphins things of that character. And as far as according to my research assistance, there have been six times that Joe Burrow has played Mahomes and Josh Allen six times, and the record of Joe Burrow against those two quarterbacks of those teams is five and one. So somehow, Joe Burrow when he's healthy, which may never happen again, there's a fear in Cincinnati that we have an unhealthy Joe Burrow, who first of all had the knee problems.
Of course that was blown out in Washington. Then he had an appendix attack the appendix and went into surgery, and then after that he had the calf problems. Simply walking around his calf like blows up, and then he got wrist bones. Things to that character. And from the Buffalo Bill's perspective, is there special love and affection for the Bengals because of what happened to DeMar Hamblin and also because of the quality of both teams being so equal.
Is there love between the Bills and the Bengals? I would say there's a mutual respect. And you know, there was a lot of goodwill that was built when the city of Cincinnati embraced Tomorrow Hamlin and his family and our GM and assistant GM who stayed in Cincinnati throughout the week with Tamorrow in the hospital.
And so there is a ton of respect I believe between both these organizations, and but I will say this, it's it's still chippy on the field between these guys because you know, when you when you look at the landscape of the AFC, especially with Lamar Jackson emerging, you know it's gonna be in the city Buffalo, Cincinnati, and Baltimore likely for the foreseeable future.
Now you've got a young stud and CJ stroudedown and juston. We'll see if he could continue that in the year two when there's more film out on him. But you know, those four franchises, they're going to represent seeing the super Bowl likely for the next twelve years. And so yeah, no doubt two up in Buffalo, I'll tell you that. And you know I always make jokes about I grew up a Bengals fan, a diehard Bengals fan, and they stunk for so long, and Marvin Lewis comes in and they're making
the playoffs every single year. When I get in the NFL and all my buddies back home are complaining that they couldn't win a playoff game and can't get into the big One, I'm like, do you guys forget about how bad we were at one time, and look at this, you know as an organization, Buffalo included. You know, there was so much. They were just just jointed organizations. And now it just seems like the leadership at both organizations. Look it starts with quarterback. You gotta be bad enough to go
get one of those young top quarterbacks. And both those teams did it. They both got early first round Joe Burrow obviously number one quarterbacks who changed the
trajectory of a franchise. Harry Gowood. Lastly, you're riding back and forth to Elder, the home of the Panthers, so you're a big, tough offensive lineman about to fifteen to years ago, and you told me off the air that your father only had one radio station on And how did we inspire a young Eric would now the color analysts of the Bills to take up broadcasting.
Yeah, I'll say this. I don't think my dad's car leaves seven hundred WLW and then maybe when he drives down to visit me at Louisle or Buffalo and lose his signal at some point, But other than that, it's seven hundred WLW, whether it was Red's games, Bengals games, or talk
radio during the day. We've been had it on at the house constantly, and I think it was ingrained in me at a young age that you know, these are who you look up to, Marty and Tom and Lap them and gosh, it's been so fun for me to consider lap him a friend now at this point and pick his brain at times and spend time with him. Such an incredible individual, and so yeah, I think that was all ingrained me. I look, I grew up waiting for that Cincinnati inquiry to
get to the house. I could read the box score from the Reds game the ninety four and all that. So Cincinnati sports in honestly, seven hundred WLW a big part of my life. You know. Dave Lapham came here in March of nineteen seventy four. Marty Brenneman had his first broadcast here in April of nineteen seventy four. So it's been a half a century of Dave
Lapham connected to the Bengals. Do you see a relatively young Eric Wood spending fifty years with the Bills potentially potentially I don't want to lock that in right now, that might hurt it contract negotiations for the future, but No, I truly love what I'm doing right now. You know, I spent time
with ESPN and Fox. I'm called a couple of games for CBS, and you know, when you're tied to an organization and you get to call the same team every week and really connect to the fan base, it's it's different than showing up at a different city each week and covering a different college or a different pro team. It's just different feeling and it's special to be a part of all. Right, Eric Wood, good luck, I'm on the Bills bandwagon. Will you accept me now temporarily as a day passed for a
Bills fan, even more than the day passed Bill? Eric Wood, thank you very much, God bless you. Good luck and beat the crap out of the Taylor Swift Chiefs because I'm sick and tired of looking at her, basically, but good luck on Sunday against the Bills and march to the super Bowl and please win it. Buffalo Cincinnati small market teams. We're like the thirty third largest market, Buffalo's like the fortieth largest market, Kansas City's like
thirty five. Only in the NFL, only in America can small market teams founded by people like Ralph Wilson and Paul Brown actually dominate in the Hunt family and play the big boys from New York, Los Angeles and Chicago, make them look sick. And I wish you and yours nothing but the best and may you have great success. Final score thirty five twenty four bills. What do you say? Yeah, let's lock that one in. That one too, I think actually a touch lower scoring. Give me twenty eight to twenty
bills. Write that down. How's the weather going to be on Sunday? Do we know how many feet of snow? Cold? But don't have that field cleared again? It just must be white the rest of the week, so snow shouldn't be a factor. Hopefully it's not super windy, but it's gonna be cold up there. Once again, Eric, you're a great American, and thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. May God bless you and God bless Josh Allen. Good luck. Yeah, I appreciate it
any time. Bill, God bless America. Thank you very much. Let's continue with more if line becomes available, which it never does become available. Five one, three, seven, four, nine seven thousand. Eric Wood is Elder's finest, the greatest offensive lineman ever to play for the Elder Panthers. And he took the quality and the character, the ethics and the morals of the West Side and this sacred radio station to work into a froth to become the play by play man of the Buffalo Bills. Who will win it
all this season? Bill Cunning, I'm with you every day at show them the Reds and the Bengals, News Radio, seven hundred WLW. Meanwhile, sleeping on top of twenty mattresses is a young woman. I'm a princess and I'm in pain. What's wrong? Someone put a p under all these mattresses and it's killing my back. You can feel the p of course, I'm a princess. Stupid. Sorry, Really, I just want to listen to Eddie and Rocky. Eddie and Rocky. Sure they're funny, but you're a
princess's and Eddie and Rocky are the kings of my afternoons. Eddie and Rocky give your day a fairy tale ending. Eddie and rock This afternoon at three on seven hundred wl W gave the door guy for class doors a Cincinnati. Did you ever hear the joke? Why didn't anybody got any contract questions? Hello, whyet I'm broadcasting Mike Tomlin's some funny he's a funny man. Don't ask about about the contract eged stage left. See you wouldn't want to be
How about the female reporter that said, what about the weather? Are you gonna get ready for the Buffalo weather? Well? Really, I mean no? In Detroit, Detroit, Detroy, looking forward towards Detroit. The weather has been a factor in some of the playoff games, even for the most prepared teams. Today it's thirteen in Detroit, which doesn't compare to some of the temperatures, to any special plans to acclimate the team to not only endure,
but perform in those conferdgeing temperatures. Did you face them in Detroit? You do know we play indoors right the other dome. I don't no nothing, planning nothing. We're indoors and we only have to be outside for twenty seconds getting off the bus, going under the thing, So we'll be okay, head coach of Tampa saying, don't be stupid. That's a DEI hire right there. Back when about that weather in did train, it's gonna be a little bit cold, twelve degree. Well, we're playing in a dome.
It will be okay for twenty seconds in between the bus and locker. H's the last time Detroit played outside I mean long time decade eineteen seventy something. I don't know. Dick Knight train lane right, Joe Diereger Stadium right, I don't know, but I think I think the baseball team, Wow, they played there too. It was cold though, but Minnesota, but
green Bay didn't see the light. They still have h Well, they're not gonna they're gonna mambo lambeau Field, I mean field, right, but otherwise otherwise saying what about the weather in De traent DEI at its finest, some head coaches in the NFL would have would have let that reporter have it. If it's a woman, you can't do it. Exactly. We've had a good run segment. White males are done. You know what I'm saying. Oh, Johnson Heating and Coolie at eight, five, nine, four,

They she said she's been friends with Buddy Lrosa for over sixty years or more and she used to live next door to his the first Lorosas on bood No Avenue. Really, how about that? So things on some other way Edna and Buddy and maybe Olga might have been
into pizza business, and Buddy and the chicken. And then throw in Elmer Hansler if you want from Queen City Sausage, right, And you got three ninety year olds, two hundred between the three and they're almost three hundred years old ruling the Roost. No pun intended in the in Cincinnati food and nobody makes better. I like the coal salt. Olga puts it together every morning, doesn't she? It's lovely ol golicious and Buddy l Rosa and you know

I think, is today still all you can eat? And nine twenty nine ninety nine, I never saw somebody eat seventy eight bones? Did you eat the bones or just the meeting between? Or you like a the jackal the table was or the plate was clean. You used the tablecloth as
a napkin beat, you know, put it around your neck. Yeah, and this just starts to start eating. Bingo? What if you have? What do you had? Ron's roost? All? You canna eat chicken? How much? How many chickens could you put down? That would be big? You got to have all the sides, though, you gotta have them all, right, same thing in Montgomery, and you gotta get there exactly good chips, ships, Yeah, gotta get them all. Maybe a little

It's all done for the day with the Carolina Panthers. The Titans are going to contact Callahan to schedule this second and in person interview. Callahan, William not the guy Clint Eastwood played Callahan. Harry Harry Callahan, Harry, Yeah, man's got to know his limitations. Does he related to him?
Yes? They are. Yeah, I didn't know that. New Orleans Saints looking to talk to Bengals quarterback coach Dan Pitcher in regards to their offensive coordinator spot and Bill Belichick. What this weekend is going to interview number two with the Atlanta Falcons. So look out, Dallas didn't open up. Let's see start watch the wheel start to roll. After this weekend, Baby Atlanta. Do they have a quarterback other than Desmond Ritter. I don't think they do.
Maybe Matt Ryan. Don't you need a quarterback? Maybe Matt Ryan. Will leaves sitting next to Boomera Saias and on TV and come back. Why not Philadelphia? Why not the Eagles? I don't know. They don't know what they're gonna do with that guy. He's still the coach. What do you do, Siriani? Yeah? Congratulations. Last night Willie to coach col his four hundredth victory as a wild Cat coach as the Cats beat the Dogs ninety to seventy seven at Rupp Arena. What does Jeff Brantley say about that?
I'm probably not too happy about that. What's Jeff Brantly doing? Do you think he's down in Mississippi tipping cows? What's he doing? You know he might be out at Baseball Heaven that's going on now. You know, you and I have been invited out. And I told Karen Kraft, I'm on the DL. Would you want to go back to Baseball Heaven and squat and catch and me throw? Yeah, I'd like to go to Arizona and do it. We went to Florida. What twice? Yeah, I don't
know. I don't know. So see what else is going on here? What else? Oh? Horizon League Action tonight Willie Milwaukee and NKU six thirty on ESPN fifteen thirty, Down and Dirty. And we also say happy birthday today the one Bengals receiver. I hope he's still gonna be here. T Higgins don't know about that one. And he's hurt a lot, isn't he hamstring? Yes? Well, who you're gonna kick, You're gonna take him. We're gonna take Tyler Boyd. You can't have all of them? Why
can't you have all of them? Don't have the dough they're raying to me that all the number nine, he's not collecting the first paycheck for two years. How about signing up Higgins, Chase and Boyd? How about that? And get a get a Kyle Rudolph comeback? Is maybe a tight end? Wouldn't that be something? Yeah? That wouldn't they take that? That would be something? Yeah? But the big news can Joe Burrow stay healthy? That's the that's the speaking of that, Willie. That's the million dollar question.
And we also say happy birthday today to the million dollar man, Ted tay Y, I won't see a million dollar man. A million dollar man. I think he's uh. I think Tater says seventy five and saved some woman in a car. How about that? The Holkster, the Holster. I always took his vitamins and look what happened. I always like Terry. He's a good man, good man. What else? I'm surprised he's alive? What's more shocking? Who's alive? Go ahead, you got you got
the Hulkster. Yeah, and maybe the Rick Flair. It's amazing he's alive. Fingo what he's been through. He's been through everything exists. Bottle of booze just to get him started right. No, women don't get you in trouble, except financially, but the booze does. That's for sure. Those boys certainly would hammer the booze, no question. I remember that one night we were down at the coliseum. When you went into the ring, it
was chased out. Then afterwards we all we were all standing there and we watched Hogan, Bobo, Brazil, Uh, Andrea Andre, the Giant, King Kong Bundy and about eight other guys who just hated each other ten minutes earlier. All jumped in this station wagon and took off for the next city. I don't know where they were going, but they said, let's go, and they all piled in this thing. And I mean it was like sardines. I had some relationship with pro wrestling at the time. I was
an announcer. In fact, Norwood's Finest, Oh the Best had asked me Flying Brian Pillman to go on the road really become his manager. What told me, mister Willie, what Flying Brian Pillman? So you could have been I could have been somebody. You could have been like mister Fuji. Correct. You could have been like Paul Hayman at some point in my life have been like classy Freddie Blassy the Hollywood fashion plate. I'm on the air at
night nine to midnight, but I'm also practicing law with criminal cases. Had two hundred employees and Willis camp right, and I'm on the air every night. Correct. And I said, and then he wanted you to go be his manager on the road. I said, well, let's try Detroit. We'll go to Columbus and come back a little test test, I said, Brian, I am a bit. We're at evidence until one night we go to Louisville. Next we go to Lexington. We go here, we go
there, let's go. So they came into the coliseum and about one of the times, Pat Patterson, he was the former wrestler who was like the traveling secretary to keep everybody in line correct, he comes up to me and says, you know, Haul Cogan would love to become the citizen of the day in Cincinnati. And I said, really, I said, does he care about absolutely? Terry does care. So I called Charlie Lucan. I said, Chess, do you have some time to come down to the coliseum.
Get done, Chess, and pat Patterson will give me the accomplishments of hul Cogan and put them in a proclamation and call it Halk Hogan Day, Terry Blara Day in the City of Cincinnati. Charlie said, man, I love to do that. Do you think I can meet him? I said, I why not? I assume. So, so we set up six o'clock at the colise him. Go in there, Pat Patterson, and there's Hulk Hogan, Rowdy, Rowdy Piper, Jimmy Superflight Snooker, Andre the Giant.
You would have thought, Charlie Luca was meeting the Beatles. He said, those are the beatles of wrestling. So you know, he shakes hands with him, and then and then Terror or Hulk Cogan says, Marah, when you want to give me the proclamation, let's do it in the ring. So great, and so we're kind of walking around. Uh. Pat Patterson Yeah comes over and says, we have something planned you should know about. I said, well, what is it? He said, A Hulk
doesn't know about this? I said, what is it? At some point, Rowdy Roddy Piper, who's wrestling the main card, He's gonna run down the ramp, jump in the ring, punch you. I said, I don't want to get punched. He's gonna punch He's gonna knock me out. Knock out Hulk Hogan. The referee take the proclamation and tear it into small pieces. I said, wait a minute. Event. So Roderick G. Toombs, also known as hot Rod Okay, says to me, look,
will He said, I'm not going to hit you. And I said, please look, Willie, I'm not gonna said, I assume you're not going to hit me. But he said, when I when I get around, you just just fall down. I said, you got it so and so you'll look at you just drop just d Charlie Lucan is whereas Terry Bella, also known as Hulk Cogan is raising. And I hear by dey Claire. Today February the twelfth, nineteen ninety eight, Hulk Hogan Day in this city
the fans eighteen thirty. Here comes rowdy roddy piper. Oh, Charlie looks to his right. He's running down and Jess takes off. He comes into the ring and the proclamation falls. He comes to me and swings hits me with his forum. I go down like I'm shot in the head. He starts wailing on the whole Hogan and then he takes the proclamation and prepares the little pieces. And at this point the f are going bananas. So I announced that I did some announcing and now for parts unknown. So I did
that at the end of the back. At the end of the show, Terry comes up to me. He says, well, can you give me a real copy of that process? I said, I'll talk to Chance and see if we'll get you a clean copy, which is in confetti. He said thanks. He wanted to keep a copy of his day in the city of Cincinnati. How about that one of the best. It might have been that night or one of the nights. Hot Rod calls me at home. My phone number was five one three two seven one five seven ninety five and
says, I'm in trouble. It's like two o'clock. I hit him my phone on for summer. I said, where are I'm in jail? He said, jail? What what do you do? I said, well, I was in a bar and UH got into a little bit of a squabble, and then I was in a I got in Pat Patterson's car and I drove out to the hotel, which is in near the airport, and I'm I'm locked up, And that whole story then began about me representing hot Rod rodrig g toombs the University of Loisville. Right now, he's gotta tell it.
Well, so I work on a deal with prosecutor. It wasn't, of course, Rob Sanders. I'm not sure who it was. And anyway, we worked out a deal. He wasn't gonna go to jail. He got to go three days of drug treatment or whatever. He didn't want to do that either, but I said, look, you either go to the Kent County jail for three days or going to drug rehab for three days. He said, I'll do the rehab and he spends time. So I pick him up at the airport, comes out and he's we got blue satin pants
on, got a blue Kentucky jacket with Kentucky. I said, that's a little bit strong, hot roadway. He said, no, that the judge are gonna love this. So he goes into the Kent County court House work out the deal and walking to people are plotting and walking to the courtroom and he's signing autographs and Channel Traeve Howard Aine was there. You know. I said, he looks like not not your typical like criminal. No, not exactly, and I talked about all he had six kids, you know,
and did this. He's been a movie star. His greatest accomplishment was they Live one of the greatest greatest performances ever. Should have been an Oscar. Should have been an Oscar. So he's talking to the judge up there and I go through my deal, prosecutor goes through his. They work out deal. There's only and then the judge that mister Tombs is only one problem I got. I work in Kentucky. I live in Kentucky, but I went to the University of Louisville. And I respect Kentucky, but I really don't.

and twenty five thousand years. So you know, just to eat it, just knocking this easy stuff down, you know, global boiling. You know, if there is an average temperature to the Earth, it's about fifty eight degrees, which is a long way from boiling. The oceans are obviously not boiling. We don't really have a good temperature record for the Earth, you
know. We believe that the last four Innergalceci period between ice ages were warmer than the president and there were no SUVs, coal plants or anything like that back then. So it's all a lot of nonsense. And why is that? Because you would I can recall, maybe you're a relatively young man. In the nineteen seventies we had the coming ice age headlines newsweek Time magazine.
I don't think they exist anymore. They did exist, and it was all about how the sheet of ice, We're going to have this ice flow out of the Arctic, We're all going to die again. And there wasn't enough money in that, so they switched to something else. Is it fair to say that, if it's a scandal, follow the money, If it's Hunter Biden's laptop, followed the money, If it's some Democratic contributors buying the art
of Hunter Biden to get an ambassadorship, follow the money. Why is there so much money involved in myths and lies of man made global warming as opposed to the opposite, We used to have a coming ice age. Why is it happening. Yeah, so I can remember the nineteen seventies I was in high school, and you're right, they were called for a new ice age, and then all of a sudden, these el ninos started and became global warming, and they climbed to change in extreme weather and blah blah blah.
Here we are today. You know, there's lots of people that have interest in pushing this stuff. Obviously Democrats, American leftists have you know, a political reason for pushing this. It's all about controling our lives. You know, rent seeking industries like the wind and soul or and eed manufacturers. They just want to make a buck off taxpayers, you know, guaranteed subsidies. And then you know the more worried, well, they're all worrisome. But
you know, you've got the Chinese out there as well. Now, the Chinese don't give a crap about emissions or climate or the environment or anything. All they want, you know, their goal is to be the low global superpower by twenty forty nine. So of course they are, you know, working with John Kerry and Joe Biden to push all this green crap on us, which is just going to make us dependent on communist China. You know, every time someone buys and elect cars someplace, they've just made that they've
made themselves. They've made us more dependent on communist China, because you cannot build an EV without communist China. And as far as the EV's your report to the Speaker of the House says, quote, now a day go by without news of some other apocalyptic event happening on Earth, the EV electric vehicle disaster or a problem. The supply chain includes child slave labor in the Congo. Can you we're going to talk about how much each EV really cost us
and they're completely just functional in this environment. Nonetheless, well that's a great question. So every EV battery or the first we all of them rely on cobalt, and the vast majority of the world's cobalt comes from China via these minds in the Congo that employed maybe forty thousand child laborers working in extremely primitive,
dangerous, brutal conditions. These children are charged with, you know, going down into caves which can be very deep, chiseling cobalt out of the walls, bringing it up in baskets, all very dangerous, and then taking it to their Chinese masters for it to be weighed and for them to be paid you know, the piddling sum, and then they go back and do it as well. It's easy for them to get into these crevices to find
cobalt than it is for an adult. So and as far as the taxpayer subsidies, your report says, quote, taxpayers are subsidizing the disaster of electric vehicles to fifty thousand dollars per EV over ten year payer. Where do those numbers come from? So those numbers come from the Texas Public Policy Foundation and they have you know, run them for all the various state and federal government
subsidies. And so if you buy an EV over the next ten years, your car will be subsidized tune of about fifty thousand dollars, which it works out to subsidizing a gasoline powered car to the tune of seventeen dollars per gallon. So, I mean it's really obscene. You know, the whole evey thing is a disaster bill. I mean, they cost more, they're of lower quality, they involve you know, child slave labor, communist China. They don't work when it you know, cold weather, we're seeing you.
Everyone saw the video of Chicago all the dead robots, you know, right right, I mean, they just it's just inferior technology, and the technology used to make our lives better for less money, and now all this green
stuff is making our lives worse for more money. And as far as the arguments the other day before the US Supreme Court about renting in the administrative State, it appears that the liberals cannot put up with the idea of a whale dying except if it's at the hands of a large wind turbine in the middle of the ocean, and which case in that if they're killed, if thousands of whales and tunas and porpoise and dolphin die because of wind turbine, that's
okay with the liberals. Am I missing something? I thought whales were like sacred species except when they're killed by the liberals, in which case it's kind of like collateral damage. Yeah. So, fifty years ago, nineteen seventy three, green Peace started this Saved the Whales campaign, like everybody, everybody
saw all the bumper stickers, right. Well, fifty years later, you know, it's become killed the Whales and green pieces supporting kill the whales because the Biden administration using Inflation Reduction Act money is financing the construction of all these wind turbans offshore. And these wind turbans, you know, the construction of them is very dangerous for marine life, especially for whales, for dolphins,
porpoises, seals. It screws up their navigation and you know, sends these whales, you know, makes it more likely to run into ships where they wind up dead. And so in twenty twenty three we saw like, you know, more than sixty dead whales waship on the shore on the East coast because of this, and the government is saying, well, you know, we're not sure that it's the offshore winds doing because we like, like we're supposed to have video of this. You know, it's like there's a pruder.
There's no apruder film for it, so we have to say it's happening. And the thing that just is flabbercasting is that the leadership of academia, the leadership in Hollywood, the leadership of the newspapers, the leadership at CNN, MSNBC, NBC, ABC, CBS, it is always looking for an angle that something is wrong with gasoline powered cars and something's right with evs, and as far as the cost the cast it's about five thousand dollars to upgrade
your own personal electricity in your house. But if you live in an apartment or condo without that, or if you want to take a trip right now, say from Cincinnati to Chicago and it's really cold, it could be life threatening if you listen to the liberals and and do you see any hope of reversing this or is it so grained into the culture that we're going to continue to pursue electric vehicles at the expense of the lives of black boys in the
Congo and empowering the red Chinese Steve molloy, do you have any hope at all that in the next five or ten years this can be turned around? In reality? Does exist? Well, I do you know, But as long as Joe Biden and these leftist democrats are charged, no, so everyone has a chance. And know, I've ever to fix the situation. If the situation gets fixed with a new administration you had, the offshore windmills will stop. You know, you can get you can get Congress to stop subsidizing
the electric vehicles. We can reclaim the funds from the inflacial reduction neck. You know, if you get a new government in Washington, which is what we need because our current government is you know what, this is terrible. We need a new government and things can be can can be changed. As far as how are people going to feel a better well, I think most people will like the result. You just remember the Trump years. You know,
people like their exalt. You know, until we got the COVID will we'll will The left fight back, of course, because you know they're terrified. You know, they're in panic mode right now because they see Trump on the ride. Yeah, they're trying to jam all this stuff through as fast as they can. And they you know, John Kerrey said that all those climate stuff is just irreversible and sell them in the secondary market, so we
wholesale them out and think about it, explain that process. Well, look, half of Ford dealers refuse to sell evs, and GM has had to buy out half of its Buick dealers who don't want to sell evs. So nobody wants evs. There's no there's no money in it. You know, Ford was losing sixty thousand dollars per EV So how you can stay in business, I don't know. Thank God for subsidies right, Yeah, these things are very dangerous. They just sort of spontaneously catch fire. You know,
there's no warning. You know, one day they're going to start catching fire in underground garage, is in office buildings and apartment buildings. You can't put them out very easily. It's very dangerous. We've got, you know, these EV buses. You know, there's a great video on the Internet of a line of German buses. One just spontaneously combusts and blows up the whole. You know, who wants to that doesn't happen with gasoline. You know,
your gasling car does not spontaneously combust for no reason. And as far as getting them towed, I'm told that half the tow truck operators will not towe and EV because of the weight and also the danger any injury, any damage to an EV means that the entire package has to be replaced, which is fifteen to twenty thousand dollars. But explain how they're so dangerous that tow truck operators don't want to touch them. Well, they're very heavy. The
batteries. You know, if you have a a conventional car was pounds twenty fifteen pounds something like that well, an EV battery weighs about thousand pounds, and so this is you know, so they're a lot heavier. They're harder to put tow truck winches, aren't. They aren't designed for that, just like parking garages are not designed for just you know, all these evs mean parking garages are going to need to be re engineered because they're going to collapse
as everyone is forced to drive an EV. Roads are going to wear a way faster, tires are going to wear a way faster. There. You know, it's a technology that is just not ready for prime time, if it will ever be ready and right, and it's you know, the Democrats are mandating this, mandating that we buy this uh and it doesn't work. Is your letter to the Speaker of the House, with many others. There's
some letter that hit the Wall Street Journal. The hundreds of time scientists said that the effect of global warming, so called you caused by humans is insignificant. That well, you've spent centuries in which the Arctic was like a jungle. We've spent millennia with the equator being a snowball. Right now. We went through decades of global cooling and the new ice age was coming. Now
it's just the opposite. Do you think that these kinds of number one, your viewpoint doesn't get dissemination on the so called mainstream media, but secondly, that this letter has it any measurable impact with the Speaker of the House Johnson. Well, I mean, you know, I think he's a good guy. I think he's got a good heart. But of course, all these guys you've got to sit on and watch. You can't just assume they're going to do the right thing. You know, they've got a million issues in
front of them. Their staffs are very young and ignorant. You know, all these staffers are in their twenties right right, and they all grew up with being propagandized and brainwashed with climate idiocy. So you just never know, and you have to go in there and you have to stay in touch with them, and you have to educate continually. You can't just assume that they're always going to do the right thing, because they're not. And that's just
the reality. So you know, we're letting Speaker Johnson know that you know, climate has falling apart. You Net zero is nonsense. The whales are being killed, the eeds our failure, the whole ESG movement has so you know, we ought not be doing the cleans and safest environment in the world. We don't really need to be doing more. We don't really need to be chasing. We've got serious problems head now. We got big problems right
now, right now. You know, if liberals believe this was a real thing, would we admit another twenty to thirty million people into America causing more pollution, more use of the of the highways and the emergency rooms and the public schools. If it was really an issue, you wouldn't hear all the liberals saying open up the Southern born and bringing another fifty to one hundred million people. If it was a real problem, they would say, that's a
lot of pollution coming and we don't want that. But they don't want to do that, do they. I hadn't thought about this until now, Bill, but you're absolutely they have no carbon footprint. You know, it used to be that the environmental groups all opposed immigration for that reason, right because they didn't want them coming here and you know, adding to the economy and
whatever. But now, because you know, the goal has always did to uh, you know, bring about communism and control and destruction of freedoms in America. So now they yeah, of course we're gonna be letting in ten million illegal You don't care. No, we don't care what the footprint is. We don't care. We just we want to keep power. It's all about keeping and dispensing power. Whoever's control of the checkbook in Washington, that's
where the power is. And they got control of the checkbook. Well, Steve molloy, we got to run once again your letter to the Congress.
Hopefully I have some impact. One classic statement you make is quote not a day seems to go by without news of some sort of EV disaster or problem from the supply chain that includes child's slave labor in the Congo and communists trying to sourcing of key materials to low consumer demand because of a high prices inconvenience and poor performance, to outo industry financial losses, job cuts and labor problems, to the outer waste of tax payer money through the Inflation and Reduction Act.
EV's are becoming a casebook study and the failure of government industrial policy could not be said better. And lastly, we have thirty seconds remaining every time Ford sells an ev how much money does it lose? Somewhere between thirty and sixty thousand dollars per evy. In November twenty twenty three, it was sixty thousand dollars per evy. Sixty thousand. I'd quit selling. If I'm losing sixty thousand dollars every time I sell something, I'd quit selling the damn thing.
And maybe Farley, they see you is the more trouble than we think. Sixty thousand we lost. Let's quit selling those before. Dealers won't even take them in trade anymore. It's unbelievable. OHI Steve molloy, and hopefully your letter has some impact with the American Energy Institute. Steve Molloy, once again, thank you for coming on the Bill Cunningham Show. You're a great American. Steve. Thank you very much. Bill, Thank you very much.
God bleh, thank you. Well, let's continue with more if a line becomes available five one, three, seven, four, nine, seven thousand, Bill Cunningham News Radio, seven hundred, wulw Hey, have you ever had to shiver through a cold shower? Rickor and Burger will please, I'll answer your question if you beat quiet and let me make a statement. Okay, practice you normally smoke. Mister Biden. Hello, quiet, and I'm broadcasting. You're here, You're concerned, you're a prepper, you're angry,
Bill BELLI make coach Atlanta. That's gonna be a crisis. Let's deal with one, two, and three more. Holmes and Harrison want to talk about Holmes and Harrison, Okay, representing if the five stages of grief are denial, anger, bargaining, I think I'm a depression with the press. I ultimately feel bad for the elect officials, the city council members are voted for it. Jerry Wilson, Jeanine Wilson, Ray Akra, Doug Abrams.
So I don't think they grasped the full understanding of what they did. Because what's gonna happen in a couple of years, Okay, when people are sitting at the intersection of Carolina Tracey and New Hate and through like four and five courses of red lights because it's so congested, because that's the one way out of Harrison, They're gonna look to the right and say, that's the subdivision that those two built. Doug Abrams, Ray Akra, in the way of
advancing progress, put us. Put a restaurant, put a business there. We have enough problem is against do I feel bad for? So they didn't. From my assessment of the situation, they didn't do what a politician should, which is do the will of the people. Instead, I think they did what they thought was best for Harrison, because I I can't find one person that says, boy, a bunch of more houses crammed right on the doorstep. The exit of Harrison is a great idea, not one person.
So clearly they did what they thought was best instead of, well, what the people was best for the people. You went after him pretty good. But Segment said, there's some Harrison residents wanting to meet with you downstairs. Let's go seg who was downstairs? Nobody? You just wanted to get him riled up. We don't want to him. What about Belichick becoming a Falcon? I think it's a smart move. What about Desmond Ritter? What is that? I mean that the NFC South is arguably the worst division right and
in pro football the easiest division to win. The Caroline Panthers are a joke, the Commander's stink. Although they have a top draft pick and the number one overall cap space. I think they have seventy five million. And you go to Atlanta. You got the Pitts guy, Kyle Pitts, the tight end who's really really good. You got b John Robbinson, one of the best young running backs in the NFL. He got a good offensive line. You gotta have a quarterback. Where's the quarterback? You gotta get one.
But they picked number eight. Overall, they could make a you know, make a couple of trays and get up to get one of those top guys like probably won't be able to get Caleb Williams. Maybe maybe a Drake May, maybe a Bon Knicks, maybe a Michael Pennix. The answer from you see, I don't. I wish him the best, but I don't know if he's the answer. Turns the ball over a lot the answer? What's the problem? Speaking of that, Where'sandre and Brauner right now? Huh?
He's the problem? Where is he? Oh? Willie the Stoot reporters of Problem service of your local Tame Star Heating inter conditioning dealers, Tame Star Quality. You can field in beautiful Milford right down the street from one main gallery called Baker Heating at five one three eight three one fifty one, twenty four Sports Thank you. Roxy College Basketball. How many ribs could how many bones could you down if you had? How many are in a slab full slab? I would twelve? I would say so pretty much. Who slaps twenty four bones? He's like eight five, twenty eight, but included with the bones, he ate the bones. Bearcatso's number fifteen Oklahoma Saturday and the game is
sold out here that in Clifton sold out Oklahoma? Is that in football? Or basketball? Basketballsball? Brian Callahan interviewing virtually today with the Carolina Panthers to see the son of Inspector Callahan. Is that the same guy? Yeah, that's him. Yeah, man's got to know his limitations. And you say he's an interview with who a virtually interviewed today with a Carolina Panthers and the Titans yesterday? Correct, Well, the Titans won a second in person interview
next week. Callahan Inspector Callahan, San Francisco's fine, just like I said, yes, it's hard to tell with him because Zach Taylor, you want to get luck place, you want to get lucky. Punk, Go ahead, make my day, lasked Callahan. It don't make it like that in area dirty, Harry, it'll make him like that. If you were going to answer the question, what was the question, why would why would Belle ever know what the question is now? If you have the openings of like
six of them so far. I don't know why Jerry Jones is keeping McCarthy. I have no idea, but because that looks like a talented roster right there. He's got a year left on his deal, so he probably don't want him. You know, five million, that's that's not a shange, right, But why other than Earl Pitts would he go to Atlanta again? Because they have the eighth overall draft picked. I think they're fifteenth right now. Let me double check in in terms of cap space six yes, eighteenth,
so they have like twenty one million dollars in cap space. They got a great young tight end, good young receiver. The kid out of usc U. His name escapes mean, got b John Robinson? What about Egos and Sriana? What about that? Is that a better team than Atlanta right now? And they more or less have a quarter it's a better team. But I mean, how long? How long do you wait or something will be by by Monday the Eagles will have made a definitive decision, right had
to. I think that should get I always hate the whole this guy should get fired. I hate that, and the media loves that. But if the Eagles job was open, and the Falcon's job was open, and you had to pick one, Belichick to the Eagles, I think would be the best and help on defense. That's what he does, yeh, help on defense, and then get bringing another good young bright play caller away. You got it and got the quarterback. He's got a receiver fifteen games the all
time something like that, I believe. So in a three year contract he'd be there. Yeah. See the greatest of all time. Sorry, it's complicated because when Tom Brady leaves and wins the Super Bowl not the greatest of all times. Yeah it's not. But I still think he's look and anybody you need to have the coach and the player. You know, no one of those can do it on their own. Yeah, second man, your reaction, please, I hardly agree with the rock. Have you stormed the
court at any point? I took U see the task for storming in the court? Act like you've been there before, beating the horned frogs in a basketball game. I've never. I don't think I've ever, maybe like you stormed by the way Sangs plays Muller and basketball This Friday, I'll be there. Where do they play, if anywhere? At Saint Xavier High School, the home of the Rock. Are you going? How are you getting in getting honored? I don't know. I'd be lucky to get in. How
do you get in? Come on? I got to know somebody who knows somebody, so you know the people that run the place? I can't say. And said they let the rock in the side door with a little rock, come on in. Are they going to recruit the little rock with some nil money? Or is he a Harrison wildcat? I don't know. Well, good things happening in Harrison besides the development, but athletically, why is
that under your skin so much? Because angry? Because that's why people move to Harrison is is to have a get a more unique community that has a little bit of space to it. What do people want to do on slam a house on every damn piece of vacant land. That's not what the people
want. It's entrepreneurism, that's capitalism. It's not the people to side like John Dutton trying to keep out the casino developers, those putting in the hotel that's going to be next, and you're like the Indians and John Dutton, wonder maintain exactly what it is. Yeah, eighteen eighty three is even better, you see. I mean, but look, I am concerned for the people because a school levy is coming everybody, let me tell you in a year. And then people go, oh, who are the who are the
names of those people? That boom, they're gonna hit them. I feel bad for him, I really do, because open not understand fully the consequences of their decision, and it's it's unfortunate. If you move to the Dairy Park, it's landlocked. You know, there's no two hundred and sixty houses going in Deer Park. I've had so many kids tell me sant X deer Park. They picked Deer Park because it is flat they have in police department
tradition. Athletics is about the best in the tri state national. What year they win basketball? Was that twenty eighteen? That's twenty eighteen. Sex one football state in twenty twenty and Deer Park won the state baseball title with Hank Gestes in nineteen seventy. Sandex never is one in baseball. I don't think I don't think they've won in baseball. They're too big in that swimming stuff, you know, put the shorts on, get there early. The aqua
bomber, the aqua bombers. Have you thought about being an aqua bomber? I can't swim. I can't swim from here to that door. That's a fact. Neither can I. You know, I failed swim lessons twice in my life, once when I was seven and once in college. I can't get the idea of rolling my head to breathe. I got to put my head in the water and I go, and then I sink like a rock boom. And I'm always like, as I'm like sinking and struggling for my
life, I'm always like, I'm somewhat athletic. I feel like this should be easier. But swimming is like the hardest thing in the world. It's harder than like any workout to like tread water for thirty seconds. From me, it shouldn't be that hard. I can't do it. I don't know what it is with sake. You could swim because you could float. You got buoyancy, Bengo. But I put my head down and I go like, be as hard as it is. You got to be able to roll
the right way and breathe and swimming. I can't do that. Yeah, my my son's you know. And we we got on them early because I was like, I can't swim, So you're gonna swim. You're gonna do it? And any swim yeah, oh yeah, like a fish. But well the first two can, third, ones, on on on. Still. In diapers, how many diapers have you changed? None? Well, not none, No anymore, you're not changing diapers. That's not fair. No, I mean I would have have to, but I don't know.
I did the West Canny do the dirty ones? That was my eye. More or less, the number of dirty divers have changed. Probably on the
Big show today the gate make sure everyone development inspired. I guess we're having a prepper come on the show and talk about there's a a a development of old military base I believed in South Dakota, and then one in Indiana of like a you know, abandoned silos missile silos that they've turned into underground bunkers survived doomsday set and you can and you can like down these things out.
There's like four different floor plans and design uh things that you can you can have request And that's not that the Jefferson Proving Ground in Indiana, is it. I don't believe they had the bombs. I don't know they I don't know bombs. And one specifically that we looked at was your South Dakota. You got to get a bug out bag. Get your bag. I already have that. Sometime I'll be like a mole on you know me better. Now, you got the bug out, but you got a little baggage. You got the missus and the and the little pebbles, right, they all got their own bug out bags. No, you put the bag on your back and you're ready to go with everything you need.

Four more years of Georgia, Georgia to find our position where Georgia. If Trump gets electric, we're gonna be, We're gonna be in a different world. I don't think he can win. I don't think he can. I don't think he can beat anybody. I don't think he could beat Trump, de Santus or
Haley. I said it, he will not debate anybody because it would make more apparent and stupid. If the focus is on his failures as a president, which has been since this very start, then he but the media wants he will not win. The media wants him. Yeah, there's a lot more people. I think African Americans, Latinos are going big time in his course. I guess the soccer moms soccer well, the soccer moms put aside the fact that he's a jerk and instead vote for what creates the best situation
for both safety and prosperity for their family and vote accordingly. Then they'll be able to stomach Trump. They don't, then we'll get Biden. Your reaction.
