Episode description

Less Isn't Always More with Margret Gnarr

Margrett is an IFBB Bikini professional born and raised in Iceland. Ever since she was young she always wanted to be the first one to go to the olympics in every sport she attempted. She wanted to represent her country and be the best at her craft. She definitely fulfilled this dream. She became the first IFBB Bikini professional from Iceland, paving the way for many more females to chase their dreams too. Margret has competed and placed well at the most prestigious shows; The Olympia, The Arnold, and The Arnold Australia. One of her proudest moments was when she won the IFBB World Championships.

Her prep into the Bikini International was the first time her body began to work against her. It was the very first time she had ever experienced little to no progress and this led her to push even harder. She quickly began overeating and over exercising doing more than what her coach prescribed. Continuously, she would get the same critiques from the judges to be leaner. This was very hard on her and she became even more obsessed with being perfect and doing more to win shows. This led to a complete breaking point. She decided she needed to take a break from competing.

During this time she did the work to heal herself. Listen to this episode and take a glimpse into the life of Margaret Gnarr.
