You didn't promise anything. I think there's this idea that when you're not straight, you have to tell all your friends and family immediately, like you are it to them. But you don't. It's something you want to. I like this song, and unless it's not. Your fault. The music in the show is so good. But I keep forgetting. It's what we do. And Olivia Pullman, she's the best. All right. What did you think of Promise? Promise is a crushing little episode. I mean, nothing really went well. They're really finish the test. They finished the Yeah, Gcse's are over. Isaac is making friends with me,
OK? No, I think that has to get a lot of points in itself when we rate it, because Isaac was so happy. Isaac was very happy. Yeah, yeah, promise. That was a good episode. I liked it. But yeah, I mean, like, things can't stay happy forever. But like, yeah, tat 1L finally tried to date and just dating is awkward. And you know, their whole premise of their relationship is like, I like you for you. And then if you try to change for the other person, it's like not the same.
So like all of that is valid. And, you know, promises were broken for Nick, who can't live up to his own expectations for himself. And he feels like he's letting everybody down. There's a lot of anxiety going around in this show. Yeah. And then the Tara Darcy thing where like, Oh yeah, what was going on with Darcy? Oh, we don't know what's going on with Darcy, but she wasn't there.
And she was supposed to be. Well, it started with the I love you that I slept off and then Darcy panicked and Satara took it back. So that's like, you know, promised to say it back. That was kind of broken a little bit. And basically in the woods. Darcy couldn't get there because her mom wouldn't drive her or take her there. And that's why I was like, well, you could just come with me. Why didn't you just ask? And that's when, Sorry, I was like, maybe she's embarrassed.
So there's something going on with Tarcy and her family situation is what's being very heavily into that here. I love Darcy. I know Darcy is great. They're all great. And then, yeah, I think that was main, main just of everything. So Congrats to those that finish their GCSE in promise. Promise. That's over, I hope. All right. So how would you rate this on the lesbian hydration scale,
Caitlin 7/7? I mean, it's not like there's anything wrong with it. Yeah, I feel like I need to start ranking these based off like gymnastics scores, like where you take points away, Like you start with A10 and then he just gives take things away because you did that last episode. I'm like, that's actually pretty smart because that's like a better way to rate something. I mean, for this show, this show is so top quality in my brain that it's very hard to like, not rank it high.
So I'm not giving it a three. I'm pretty sure I've given stuff threes before. Yeah, yeah, I'd give this one. I mean, it gets a 10 for representation every episode. Yeah. No, I'd give this one an 8. It's hard to give it less than like that. I liked it, thought it was a good episode. It is sad, fatter. So it's more of an anxiety producing episode. But she said that Olivia Coleman in it. So yeah, Olivia Coleman was in it. So it's hard to part of it. Well, I know I like this episode.
I thought, it's great. Yeah. The representation. Yeah. Now you make me want to give it like a nine again. I'm giving it a nine. Change my mind. It's hard to give it something low is it? You can easily change your mind based on these ratings like with this show. Because there's like really, no, there's nothing bad about this show. There's like no method to rating this show because you can be like with the representation and this and this. I'm like, yeah, it's it's gonna get rated high.
But overall, what did I I basically this is how I'm doing it. Did I like this episode more than the last episode? And that's fair. So I'm basically just ranking like how did I like it? Like and that's not like what I felt for like the character stuff. But like did I like this one more than the other one? There was less Nelly in this one that's that actually had nothing to do with the last one either. I mean, maybe those subconsciously, but I'm trying
not to focus on the dog. I feel like it could sweat and like, how much do you like it is valid? Like, you know, maybe scenes with the dog are just cuter because it brings out a different, not personality but like a feeling from somebody. So, like, they're, they're softer. And I mean, they're those two are the softest as possible. But yeah, but no, I know what you mean. Yeah, the show is just great. Very excited to keep going with this episode.
