Hello and welcome to Big Gay Energy. I'm Caitlin. And I'm Fiora. Come along with us while we dive into the fun and nuances of queer media. Representation matters, and we're. Here to talk about it. Cheers, queers. What's on the big gay agenda today, Fiora? Today we have finally made it to the final episode of Blank The Series Season 2 Episode 6 and we are going to continue our scene by scene breakdown of this epic show. So get ready for it, woo.

Got so much coming. So much coming, but before we get into that, you know, become a Patreon member, do all the things like us on social media, join Discord. You've heard it a million times before. Yeah, you're sick of it. Let's just get into this. Let's do it. All right, so off screen, Big Nung finds little Nung after the car accident and then accompanies her unconscious form to the hospital. How she got there before either of the parents, I don't.

Who knows. Who called the ambulance like? Yeah, No, seriously. All right. So I was trying to figure out the logistics of this. That's my whole notes in this. It's trying to figure out the logistics of the scene. So she's on the phone, obviously she hears a crash. I guess I, I mean, the phone goes silent. I don't know if it's an actual crash or not, but like she's she knows something you. Heard a scream. At minimum, she heard a little. Long scream. Alarming.

Alarming. If someone on their call like it's OK, it's either a big nun or someone at the scene which it was dark, it was, it was. The other driver. You have to assume the other driver was conscious and did it 'cause like who else would be out randomly? Yeah. So I don't know, it's either one of them. But either way, how did she make it here for when they were Wheeling her?

Back, that's my question, 'cause like presumably the well, actually we don't know where Ping Pho is staying, 'cause if she was at the grandmother's place, the grandmother we know lives far, like kind of far. Away. Yeah, further away. Yeah, but like, I don't know. Who knows where Ping Pho was actually staying. Maybe it was super close to the palace. Because the grandmother takes the phone out of little Nung's hand. I thought she was in the same room so I swear. It's there.

Like, no, no, she wasn't. No, no, no. She was at Pingfa's place. She wasn't at the grandmother's place. Yeah. All right. Unless new set, it's a new season 2 set. I don't. Know it passed Pingfa to be as close as possible to Big Nun. But also that thwarts her plan of keeping them apart, so I don't know. It just.

Makes her weird. And like which hospital I'm assuming right, one close enough that like is assigned to like you know how you're assigned schools in a school district, Maybe there's like a hospital that's closest. But like again, it also depends on like where she is in relation to big nun. Right. What is Big Nung operating off of is my question. When she went to fat well, she's the little bug seeker. She always finds her no matter where she is.

So like I wouldn't put it past her to like figure it out. But anyway, the fact that she's there as they're rolling her into the trauma Bay is weird just because like how? What is she a superhuman? Did she teleport to the scene of the? How did she get there before the? Teleportation powers the aura like that's that is the spin off. Big Nung gets super powers and saves the world. I'm I mean. With her big numbness. Yeah, I'm, I'm here for that show, honestly.

But anyway, weird logistics aside, the they're in the hospital. This is where the scene starts, where Lil numbs on the Gurney getting wheeled into the the trauma Bay where she's gonna go like probably straight to the OR because look at her. So her big man is running alongside as the medical team is like frantically Wheeling her to the trauma Bay and she's worried sick because lung's out cold, she's not moving, her head's bleeding. This is an actual nightmare. Just wow.

There's there's so much going on. This is just a clusterfuck. So eventually the team gets her in like her being along into the the trauma Bay and the the doors close and then one nurse, the nurses shout out to all the nurses out there. Then any nurses listening, you guys do way too much and you don't get paid enough because this nurse, her job is to be like keep the grieving family out of the trauma Bay, which if you've ever worked in a trauma

Bay, it could be super wild. So this is not a fun job that this nurse is doing. So the nurse has to be like, OK, grieving. I don't even know who you are. You need to, you cannot come into the OR like you can't. It's a sterile ish environment. You can't go in there. And Big Nung is begging, like begging. Please let me see her for just a few more seconds. Like she's just begging. Like give me any scrap of time with her before she's gone for 'cause she could lose little nun

literally forever. She could die in the trauma Bay and like that's it. It's over. So like she's so desperate not to have her worst fear come into fruition that she's just begging with this underpaid and underappreciated employee. Like, please let me into the trauma Bay. And when she's doing this, she sounds so beyond broken and just terrified as she's pleading with this poor employee who's just trying to do her job.

Meanwhile, the poor veteran nurse, cause like you've seen, you see the deadness in her eyes. She's been here before. She's like I, I, I've been dead into the world cause I've seen too many. Horrible. What's your in an ER or an emergency room or a trauma. Trauma is even worse. You've seen some stuff, you're scarred forever. So this woman is just like, it's another case.

You need to, I need to do my job like so she's she's like manages to calm big down enough to get her to sit down, which is how I know as a veteran nurse, because she'd just been in this situation before. She gets big none to sit down. And at that time she hands over the bag of possessions and she's like, this is for you. And then Big None loses it once she gets the phone and she just starts sobbing.

And that's when the nurse is like, I'm gonna slip away back into the OR and do my actual job. Goodbye and so. The the the thing that's sad about this though, is that the nurse, when she hands the bag to her, says this is her belonging. Now, usually it's this is their belongings, plural, but this is all she had on her. And in life, this phone symbolizes Big Nung, because Big Nung is all she has. Really. And Caitlin, why are you gonna say that now? It's even sadder. Yeah, I OK.

I don't like this. It's hold on. Oh, it gets. Worse. Yes. Oh gosh, it. Thank you. Laura. And this was the last physical thing that connected them together. Yeah, yeah. I mean, Big Nung's gift is hanging off the phone. That's the phone key chain or whatever. And here's the other sad part. That's a bloodied phone so Ally can watch is like when she's holding it, it's in a bag cuz like it might be crime scene evidence, who knows. There's blood all over the phone too.

It's a little. I'm surprised they gave it to her right now. The nurse is like, this cannot go into the X-ray machine or the Mris that she's gonna cause head injury. They're gonna send her in an MRI. She cannot have metal on her. So like they're like, can you hold this? Because if it gets lost back there, you may never say it again. Trauma bays are wild. But I'm yeah, I'm surprised they had it bagged already. Like who bagged this? I'm just shocked.

Cause usually like it, this stuff doesn't happen until they're like usually it's such a rush that this doesn't happen until they're like in the trauma Bay And one of the nurses is like taking things off of the patient while they're like usually cutting the clothes so they can examine them. This. They have to do so many things in like seconds in trauma bays. I've worked in trauma hospitals before, and it's like, trauma bays are wild. Everything is super fast, Everybody has a job.

It's very coordinated. So like, that nurse is like, I need to get back in there to do my duty from what's going on in the trauma Bay. Anyway, yeah, I'm surprised they did this. I assume this happened in the ambulance. Maybe they just were preemptively getting her stuff together because her condition was so bad. But anyway, like, poor Big Nong. And the sad, even sadder phone thanks to Caitlin is like, just like losing it. OK, She's just sobbing.

And I imagine, not that this is a far fetched imagination, Big Nong mentally probably goes to a very, very dark place right now when she's clutching this phone and just like sobbing. And I assume she's blaming herself for all of this because this is Big Nong like her greatest fear, right? And like, we've seen her grappling with her fear of like, repeating, you know, past mistakes and harming people.

Like the way she, like the ghost of song is still like, haunting her despite her making progress with like, forgiving herself for all of that. I imagine she kind of goes back to that deep, dark place where she's like, this is my fault. Somebody else is going to die because of me. Like, I assume that's what's like kind of consuming her in

this moment. And it's like, worse that it's like little Nung and she was conscious that that might happen and like tried to do everything she could to stop it from happening. And it like, it's happening anyway. And so like, that loss of control that she's feeling as somebody who's a control freak like her, like it's like she lost everything, like everything in this moment. And it's just like all she has

is the fucking phone. You know she has to be thinking about how this was the last thing little Nung touched and it was to call. Her to call her. Yeah. And like what you just said, this was the first time in a while that she let herself be selfish by telling little known that she loves her on the radio. And now this is what she was trying to keep herself from doing. And then the second, basically that she did it. It's song, not really what?

No, What's up? Yeah. So I think that's why she's like, her trauma is being super triggered right now because, yeah, that was a moment of weakness where she let herself feel what she wanted to feel and express it and like, look what happened. And like, this is what she was, like you said, so afraid of doing the whole time. And like, boom, the worst thing possible happened just when she was like, being selfish, you

know? If we had another season she would This would definitely would have made her regress a little bit. Yeah, oh, for sure, for sure. But like shit happens real fast from here on out. But like, yeah, you know, she's she's not in the same place she was when this first happened with Song. She's not the same person. She has some more coping skills. But like, this is her her at her lowest that we've seen her probably ever in the show. Like these were this was the

highest of possible stakes. And that's like, boom. Yeah. OK. And so back to your point of like the belonging. Oh, unless you had more to say. No, I'm good. OK, the belonging versus belongings, plural. So like OK, in the bag. Like to your point, it's just it's just the phone. That's all she had on her. So here's the other wild part of this. So when little Nung heard the heard the radio and like ran to go to big Nung, she literally fled saying I'm not going to America. Fuck my family.

She literally left with just her phone like no ID card, like nothing like so like that's how little little Nung was actually thinking when she fled. Like there were no thoughts in that girl's head except big Nung. That was it. So like she was not prepared for what she was about to do anyway. Like even if she didn't get in the car accident, like what was this plan? The plan was just get to big Nung. There was no thought beyond that.

Like there was no like maybe I should pick pack some clothes and never come back here. You know what I mean? There was no like there was just get out now. There was like, she's in a, she's in like the haunted house with the killer. She's like, get out, just get out. Take nothing, leave it, let it all burn, Like just get out. She had no plan. That's where her headspace was when she did that. Everything could be replaced except Big Nug. Just big Nug. All I thought was this big Nug,

what do you want for dinner? Big Nug? What do you she gets in the car and they're like, where do you want to go? She's like big Nug and like there's no, it's like is if I specify what this is like, is that a place? I don't know, Is that a bar? I don't know, she's everything. It's like, well, this is not helpful. Who are you? Get out of my taxi. Anyway, it was sort of been a mess if she tried to actually go through with this.

So after this, the the theme song starts playing and thankfully whoever is in charge of editing chose not to play Beat My Boo by Yoko 'cause that's way too upbeat and they went back to the more somber like theme song. We had the like the first season, but it was like, it's like an instrumental version. So like thank you for not picking the Super upbeat song like immediately after like the worst thing ever. So like, thank. You could you imagine though? No, I'd be like, why are we

here? Like. Maybe like the GMMTV type theme songs playing after someone? Dies. I guess those shows are screwed 'cause their theme songs are very upbeat anyway. So thank you Blake for not doing that. So after the after the the very last opening credits, we cut back to big nun who's still still upset in the waiting room, like the waiting room next to the trauma Bay, which is just like 5 chairs. And I assume sometime has passed because she seems a lot more put together.

She's not like full chest sobbing. She's kind of just like sniveling a bit holding the phone. So she seems more put together, I guess. And while she's doing this, her night gets even worse because Long Long's family starts arriving and the first people on the scene are Pingfa and Chet, who come together. We just. I have a theory. Later we'll get into OK, all right, it's it's not a good one, but it's. Yeah, I figured where my brain just went wasn't good either,

but I'll all right anyway. So they kind of go up to the door, which I don't know what they thought was going to happen. There's like, they probably were like, she's in the OR and there's like nowhere for you to go. She's in the OR anyway. There's the operating room, if you know what that means. So interestingly, but not surprisingly, the first person who speaks is Pingfa. And the first thing she says is how is my daughter? Because of course she does.

She actually cares about her daughter. Meanwhile, Chet does not just wait till the first thing out of his mouth. Complete opposite. Oh my God, no. Anyway, I'm so glad that she is the first one to speak and that this is what she's asking, because in this moment, that's all that matters. Chet Chet you bitch, he's a dirty bitch. And then like I like that she asks Big Nog so she doesn't come in and attack Big Nog. She's like, how is my daughter like cuz you're right, that is what matters.

And so Ping FA again thinks about her daughter first, not her own bullshit, Always demonstrating that that's apparent. That's apparent. Exactly. That's apparent in a scary situation. Meanwhile, Chet doesn't say anything at first, but he is also looking to Big Nung for the answer. So like demonstrating that he is concerned about Little Nung on some level. Poor Big Nung is so like distraught.

She can't even say the words of like what happened like she can't even say it 'cause I feel like to to say it makes it more real than it is. And she just keeps crying like she doesn't say anything. Which makes Ping pho more upset because Oh my God big noms crying. When the fuck did she cry like that must be really bad if big noms cry. The woman that never has emotions is like she hasn't sobbing, the queen is crying in the waiting room like that's unnerving #1 and then like is

not answering this question. So like Ping Pong gets more upset because she's like Oh my God unless you really bad if you're crying and not answering me. Holy shit. So she gets more upset which probably makes Chet upset. Instead of like following this up with another question about Big Nong, he immediately just starts attacking her and blames her for essentially breaking the barter that they created to send Lunung abroad safely without

interfering. And he's like, you clearly interfered like this is your fucking fault Nung. And like, again, not dealing with his own emotions, he's throwing his emotions onto Big Nung who's clearly not OK 'cause he's the worst. There's no doubt about that. That's a cheat. That's the theme of the whole show. Chet's the worst. Chet's the worst. That's why we had to have an episode titled that. In case you weren't aware. But Chet says it's because of you.

And I don't think he's just talking about this accident either. And we talked about this, I believe in the last episode. He is blaming Big Numb for his perfect quote life being messed up but she is the reason little Nung doesn't want to be in his Life OK. She is the reason her daughter, her daughter his daughter is a quote gender deviant 1. Of my favorite ones. So random, sorry. She is the reason Little Nung is in the hospital. She is the reason he doesn't

have a wife. None of which is true, Chet. You're the common denominator for all of those statements. Is chatting you? Because of you. Yeah, I literally think that's it. But yeah, so of course that's where Chet comes from. And then Chet mentions he's like the radio stations. He's like, why did you have to say all that nonsense on the radio? Did you want everyone in the world to know you guys were dating? My question is how did Trent know about the radio station?

Like does he secretly listen to the How did he know this? OK, so again, this will go in my theory later, but right now focusing on this question, there is no way he would have been listening. No way. Like why? Because why? First of all, for him to listen on his own, he would have to had actually care about other people to want to listen to it, Yeah. He can. Barely figure out his own problems he he doesn't want to hear about other people's

problems. Adds to the other reason he could be listening to is even if he knew that this was little Nung's favorite station, he would have had that. He would have had to actually listen to her when she talked about it and then actually care enough to check out what his daughter. Likes and also actually listen to the people on the radio. Yeah, that's listening. Not a skill he has. Not at all. NO0. That's the other theme in this show. Yeah, doesn't make any.

These are the character traits of Chet. He's the worst and doesn't know how to listen. That's it, yeah. So how he knew about the radio show, I don't know, unless like Ping Fu found it out 'cause like the grandmother's not listening to this like. We'll get there. OK, it doesn't make for him to say this makes is very weird. So also Chet. Anyway, so assuming he found out about the radio show somehow, maybe from ping pho who knows, Google alert, who the fuck

knows. I don't know, whatever divine intervention, if he knew about the radio show Trek, did you not hear like what Big Nung said on the radio show? Like she was literally talking about their happy memories that her and Little Nung had. And Big Nung admitted in the radio show that it was Little Nung that was aggressively pursuing her. Like she told the story of how your daughter was aggressively pursuing her. So you can't blame Big Nung for this.

It's your daughter did all this, it's our fault. OK, now here's when my theory came to be after think of all of these things. All right, so Big Nung is on the phone when the accident happens. She's like, well shit, either she calls the police or the the dude in the car does. I'm assuming as a dude that that was that was wrong of me. The person in the car calls, who knows. Anyway, Big Nung does call Pingfa because she is obviously the only one who deserves to know and when she tells her that

Little Nung was in an accident. Pingfa asks. Why they were even talking when in the 1st place when Big Nung promised that she wouldn't call her OK, which is a fair

question. But Big Nung explains that she did keep her promise, but she called into this radio station and she gives this like basic overview of what happened and definitely leaves out like the parts, like the actual parts of her saying like it was little Nung doing it because she's blaming herself right now for everything happening. So she's just giving making it sound like her fault too anyway. And then she tells her that Little Nung chose to call her,

and that's when it happened. Now Chet only found out the only reason he's here right now 'cause Ping Pho wouldn't have called him. He only finds out because he was currently with Ping Pho trying to control how Little Nung goes abroad and what happens there. Yeah, that's fair. I don't know that Big Nung would volunteer the information about the radio station rather than be like she called me.

You gave her a phone back. Like, 'cause the grandmother took the phone away, Ping Pho must've given her the phone back. Be like she called me. I feel like she wouldn't dive into the radio station unless she needed. To but like I needed that from my theories. Yeah, but like, yeah, anyway, 'cause like, I think big nung, I don't know, I don't know. This was weird. I don't know why Chet knows about the radio station. Truly your your theory's plausible. I hate him anyway.

OK, but the answer to this, like did the parents, if they were listening, actually listen to what the hell was was going on on the radio? Like big Nun was pouring her heart out about how they met, how little Nung pursued her and how they were happy basically. And the answer is no, nobody heard any of that, especially in a chat. All he heard was great. Now the entire world knows my daughter as a sexual deviant like you. The shame is out there now Big Nung, this is all your fault.

All of Thailand knows I don't like Chad. Big Nung actually listens to him when he's talking to her, including when he blamed the entire car accident on her and he just says it again like this accident is your fault. Which like we said, I'm sure Big Nung internalizes that because on some level it's true. Like like we mentioned her selfish actions. And by selfish I mean like her giving it to what she wants above everything else led to this outcome. And this is the song scenario

playing all over again. Because what was that scenario that was Big Nong being selfish by choosing to escape the palace for her own well-being and the, you know, leaving her sisters and her grandmother behind. And that event and choice that she made set off a chain of events that ultimately led to Song's demise, like an outcome Big Nung admitted she knew was possible. Because remember, she said I knew Song couldn't handle the pressure that the grandmother

was putting me under. Like, so she knew Song couldn't handle the role she was going to have to fulfill. But like, we've gone over how that a million times. I'm just kind of setting this up and now and here we are today and despite Big Nuns character, character growth that we've seen throughout the whole show and all the lessons she learned, like history in her mind is like kind of repeating itself again.

Because what happened here, Big Nun gave it to her selfish desire to contact Little Nun by the limited means available to her. She didn't break the promise, but she kind of did because she did interfere by doing this. And it ultimately did reach Little Nung like she hoped it would. And that set off this chain of events that led to this moment right now in the hospital where the parents are blaming her for this whole thing. But the story of Big Nung and Little Nung is not so simple,

right? Just a song story was not simple. Little Nung also made choices that led to this outcome. Little Nung chose to impulsively flee with a phone and nothing else. She didn't have money, she just jumped out in the street too like to get there faster. And just like in Song story, there's the meddling family that also played a part in all of it. So it's not as simple as like one person making one choice.

There are many actors involved in this play and we got the tragic outcome in with both main lead Song and Lil Nung right. And all Big Nung says is in response to Chet blaming her solely for everything is Lilong and I love each other. Because that's what this all really boils down to. Like Lilong and Big Bang are both being selfish with their love for each other because, like, love is selfish in a way, you know? It's like, you know, And that

was all they were really doing. And but Chad refuses to listen because he doesn't know how. And he goes through his greatest hits of homophobia and just blaming her. That's all he's got. Yeah, and like, this is where I need Chet to take a look around at where he is right now, because this is not the issue right now. This is not what should be the focus. Like this is when I got really angry while writing notes. Get your head out of your ass and be a damn father.

But he can't do that. Yes, because he is not emotionally intelligent at all and I'll point that out multiple times in this episode in particular because he's scared right now. Like, as the father who loves his daughter, his daughter might die. So he's freaking the fuck out, OK? And he's terrified, just like all the everybody in the scene is terrified, but everybody is dealing with their sorrow and

their fear differently. Big noms beating herself up about it. Ping Pho is probably also beating herself up about it because Ping Pho is never allowed to express her emotions. So she's just silently suffering in the corner like the women do. And then Chet, what's the man doing? He's making it everybody else's problem. And so he's like turning the fear into anger and he's attacking whoever he can. He can't attack Ping Pho because Ping was with him and then or

whatever. So he's attacking big No, he's like you're the common denominator. This is your fucking fault. If you didn't talk to her, she'd be in the room, she'd be going to America. This is your fucking fault. If you didn't do anything, we wouldn't be here. So like he's just, he's scared and he's like making it anger instead of processing his fear, he's just attacking big nose. So in his mind, he's being a good father by attacking the deviant that caused this, but

he's not living. But the problem is, Chad, we are here because you've never listened to this woman ever. And we wouldn't be here if you guys are. Just fucking listen to the little Nung Whisperer that you keep employing as the little Nung Whisperer because she knows the magical secret to understanding your daughter, which is fucking listening to her.

Amazing. All right, so then he keeps berating her until bring big gun breaks this up and says what we've been saying the whole fucking show, which is stop acting like you're a father who loves his daughter. And finally he shuts the fuck up because this is about him. So now he's listening. He's like me, I'll listen so she can she continues. He's she's like you've known her as long as I have. And this was a very brilliant thing for her to point out because he said he's like, I

don't know. It's just like once I realized she was my daughter, it's like a light switch went off and suddenly my I love her. My love is as vast as the ocean. Like you know how he just immediately is like, she's mine. I love her. That was it. That's all it took mine love like it was that simple for him. And she's like, bitch, we've known her the same amount of time. So you can't be like, I'm but he what he's seeing in the scene is like, I'm her fault.

Like I've been her father this whole time. And she's like, you've been here for three weeks, Chet, like, and for you to sit there and say, I love her and it's real despite the limited time we've had together would be him also having to confront the fact that Big Nun's love for little Nung is just as real because she's known her for the same amount of time. So he can't be like, this is bullshit. It's a fling. It's whatever. We've known her the same amount

of time. You're so in love you, you love her so much. Well, so do I. You have to acknowledge that my feelings are also real. So good. Technicality. Big Nung has known her for longer. In the grand scheme of things it'll be around the same time, but technically Big Nung has. Slightly longer, but like it's it's the same time frame. Yes, yeah. Then that weakens Chet's argument even more because she's known her slightly longer, but like again, she's unraveling his

argument. That doesn't make any sense. Then Big Nung launches into my absolute favorite Big Nung monologue in which she reads the whole family to filth. I love it. First she calls out Chet for again, you barely know her. We've known her the same amount of time and you don't even know her favorite color. Like, like, what do you know about her? And yet like, again, she's like, and I'm the big, the little Nung whisperer. I know her better than you do.

And we've known her the same amount of time. And then she addresses everybody else by stating the selfish role they played in forcing Little Nung to give up her own happiness and her life in Thailand to go to America because it made her family comfortable by getting her away from Big Nung, the source of the happiness. Just and ignoring all the signs where little Nung was unhappy. This is exile, right? She was being exiled. And she's like, they're like, I didn't have a warning sign.

She's like, I gave so many signs. Ping Pho watched her daughter like zombie mode at the kitchen table. She remember she tried to feed her. She's so upset because they took Big Nung away from her. And then the grandmother will get to her later. But like, remember she's crying on the phone with big Nung. She takes the phone away and she's like haha I won and Lilong's still crying in the corner. Nobody cares.

Chet doesn't pay attention and so he wouldn't see her sad because he doesn't stick around long enough to ever see the girl have an emotion other than indifference towards him or anger when she's like you're not even my dad, get the fuck out of here like. It's ridiculous. It is ridiculous. So I love the big guns like you guys just like ignored the fact that you were hurting her because it made you comfortable because I have a sexual deviant

or like whatever the fuck. And unsurprisingly, Chad refuses to hear any of this because he doesn't know how to listen. But big gun reminds him that like, and he's like, listen, you're just some outsider. We're her family. And she's like, listen, I may be some outsider, but like, I'm the person she loves the most. There is no argument there from us, right? And for whatever reason, this also shuts shut up. This shuts him up. She's like, yeah, you want a profound, say you love your

daughter this and that. Who does she love the most? This guy right here. This one me and you all know that, which is why you've been trying to keep us apart because and that's the Groot of it. They know that little Nung loves her and will listen to her. And so that's why they've been trying to remove her from the equation so that the family selfishly can replace Big Nung in Little Nung's life.

Like that's the scenario they were really all trying to set up. They're like, we see her getting away, which is part of growing up and becoming an adult. You do get somewhat estranged from your family because you're like growing, you go with like as a woman, you'd go to a different family when you bury into them or like whatever. And so like they're like, oh God, we're losing her. My daughter who's 20 years old and I never got to parent.

And so they're trying to get rid of the person she loves the most so they can make room for themselves and be like, now she has to love me because there's nobody to love, which is so. Controlling and psychotic. Maybe you were there since the beginning, didn't run away like a little coward. But I mean, like that's kind of the grandmother's position in all of this. But yes, you are correct. All right, then Big Nung speaks the saddest truth of all.

They can only be spoken by somebody who actually pays attention to Lil Nung and actually knows her. And she says, I don't know whether or not Lil Nung has ever felt true happiness in her life. And then she's like, think about it. You both abandoned her, both of them. I hate that she says you're her mother left her. It's like the father also left her. You should also point that finger at Trent. We're not letting Trent.

You both abandoned. Let's let's go with the father left her because the father left first. Father left first and then mother was forced away so they bought like at birth she had no parents which I find that real rich because in the other episode where the grandmother is like wow big nong you're such a deviant because you don't have parents. I'm like, neither did your granddaughter. Because of you. Because of you. So like what was that was

projection anyway? This episode's titled Because of You. Because of you. Can we get Kylie Clarkson to watch it and go on her show? Anyway, all right, And then again, once Chet is directly addressed, that's when he pays attention. So good. I hate that you just keep doing this 'cause that's the only way he'll pay attention.

And then she says to chat she's like she has a father but she doesn't feel like she has a father because you don't actually know her or do anything fatherly towards her except try to control her. And big, big man keeps going and tells them basically like that Your daughter, I don't know if you've noticed, wears a mask of happiness around the family all

the time. And what she's really saying is she's like, you created an environment essentially where your daughter has to hide who she is around you. And by doing so, like sacrifices any bit of happiness she does feel in order to conform into what the family, whatever box they're trying to put her in. Because it makes the family feel better if they see her behaving the way they want her to behave and doing the things they want her to do in front of them.

But then, when she escapes, little nun can like finally breathe and like be who she wants to be. The thing is this mask of happiness, so like pretending like it's an actual mask is so loose that it's barely there till so that it's barely there even like you, it's so clear to see when she's around them. Yeah, and I think that's that's Big Nung's impact. I think the mask was a lot more secure. And then Big Nung started to

crack the mask. And because Little Nung finally found happiness and is like, oh, this is the thing I was missing. Once you have that, it's hard to go back to the oppressive environment. Like once you taste the freedom, it's like you can never untaste it. And then you're like, it gets harder to live under oppression, which is basically what Little Nung's whole life has been. So like, we see her acting out quote in the eyes of the family because like, she's tired of being oppressed by them.

And yeah, and that's Big Nung's impact because without Big's Nung, she was just going along with all that shit and hiding in her room and like, you know, like what we saw in season 1. And you see, we we would see things like she when she would leave the gate of her house, she'd be like, we see her finally breathe and like, take the mask off and be like, oh, I feel better now. I don't have to keep posturing or whatever the fuck. Performing in the house.

That's exhausting. And like around Big Nun, it got to the point where she'd never had to perform. And so it's like it. Used to be very, very tight that it was suffocating. Yeah. And it slowly got loosened over time. Yeah, exactly. Hence like the last, the last family gathering where they're like you're going to America. She's like like, fuck, I'm going like immediately. She's like. There's no nice, no niceties. There was no mask in that scene, none whatsoever.

She's like, no, I'm not doing it. I'll never do it. And then she's like, oh, you're trying to do it, The Separatist. I'm really not doing it now. Don't sit there and lie to me and say it's for my benefit anyway. Yeah, yeah. So anyway, bottom line, Big Nom points out like you made your daughter sacrifice her own happiness to make you feel better. And just so you, you made her lie. Like you made her a liar. She had to lie. And just like pretend everything

was fine when it really wasn't. And the thing about it too is that this whole thing, everything we just talked about, the masking performing, the pretending when Big Nung's delivering these lines, like you can tell this part of Little Nung's life feels personal to Big Nung because she says basically like Little Nung has never had the freedom to be who she was. And like, that was literally Big

Nung's life. And the way she like again, delivers the line, it's just like it's coming from a place of like protectiveness, because when you love somebody, you hate to see them unhappy. And then Big Nung really hates that. And but the other thing is like it's coming from a place of empathy from Big Nung because this is her childhood trauma too, where she was forced to perform, you know, in front of the grand man.

And, and she grew up also trapped like in a literal palace, just like Luma was trapped in her room under, under the strict grandmother. And now here we are again. We're like little Nung's family is trying to cage her once again and trap her into a situation she doesn't want to be in with the whole go abroad thing. And big Nung is trying her damnedest to get them to finally see that this entire see this situation from little Nung's point of view.

Like the woman you, you never let her talk. You never actually let her express how she feels and like perhaps this is shocking to people who like really never. They don't know her. And that's the thing. And I think that's really what Big Nung is trying to like show he's like, you really don't know her. You really don't. And you never took the time to actually get to know her despite Big Nung over and over again being like, just talk to her. She just wants acceptance.

She just wants you to listen to her. We've ignored all of those warning signs and then the thing happens and everybody's like, I don't understand what happened must be Big Nung's fault. She. Literally gave them the answer from day one. That's what's so frustrating. She's literally a broken record about this and nobody fucking listens to her, but then they want to go and blame her when things go wrong, which is like,

you know what it is? I think I have this somewhere in my else in my notes, but I'm going to say it now. This is childlike behavior coming from Ping, Pho and Chet. Now let's think about these two for a second. I'll ignore this when I get later in my notes. They're basically children, OK, like let's just talk about all the adults for a second. Big NUM pingfa Chet. They're basically mentally children when it comes to like dealing with emotions and dealing with responsibility.

OK, they're children. Whereas like children aren't, aren't at the point where they're emotionally intelligent yet because they, it's a skill that you learn over time, right as you socialize as a person. OK. And then taking a responsibility for your own actions, again, is not something little children innately know how to do. It's something that's taught kind of over time.

And if you think about the whole pregnancy thing and whether Chet was it or not, he became a father, admitted the pregnancy stick turned positive or whatever. So he's been a father this whole time. He just hasn't been acting as one until like a week ago or whatever. This this series started. So their childhoods ended the minute the pregnancy happened.

OK, back when they were 16, the only person that was actually forced to take responsibility, and I say forced was Pingfa because as the woman, there is no getting out of it. And you're, you're stuck with the evidence of the crime, right? Whereas Chet had the option to own his own, his be responsible then and there or run away from responsibility. And what did he choose? He ran away from it. So this is a human being who doesn't naturally take responsibility.

And how did Chet's life turn out? Turned out great. It's perfect. He's going to be Prime Minister. Like, look at the what were the consequences of his action of not taking responsibility? His life turned out great. So why would he take responsibility when, like, things have worked out just great with him actually not taking responsibility? So his like, instinct is not to actually own up to his own bullshit. It's like, no, it never happened. And I can just keep going about

my life. So here we are in this conversation with big bangs. Like, you need to both acknowledge the role that you played in this and take responsibility for it like an adult. And they are both like refusing to do it 'cause mentally they're children and they never like actually learn this. If Big Nung, if this was the same Big Nung before she met Little Nung and she was in the situation, she'd do the same thing because her response is flight. She runs away. She's like, no, no semantics.

And she'd run away because that's what we've seen her do the whole season. But because she had Little Nung, a wildly empathetic, a very emotionally intelligent human being that she got to know and learned from, Big Nung knows empathy now and knows how to take responsibility and like emotional process, hard emotions. And like, we see her being the adult in this conversation.

And the children who don't know how to, like, regulate their emotions or like own up to their bullshit are just like blaming her. They're like, no, no, it's you, it's you, it's you, it's you. It's not me, it's not me. Why would I take responsibility for this? And that drives me crazy about this conversation. I feel like Chet's theme song here is no Body, No crime. No, because the the person doing the murdering and nobody, no crime had a good reason to do it.

He doesn't have. A good reason I didn't, I don't actually know the full lyrics. I just think like nobody, like if it's because again, Pingfa is left with the evidence. So like he doesn't have the evidence. There's no he didn't do anything. This is denial. It's just why would he when his life in his life, it was reinforced that if he doesn't take responsibility, things work out for him.

So like, why would he like, and that's like a bigger societal problem with like men not taking responsibility for shit and then getting rewarded for it. But anyway, OK, so the big gun continues and tells them like, the whole reason that your daughter ran to come see me is because she was escaping the cage you put her in. OK. And that's really the reason we're all here today.

She's because your mother, Ping FA, was so traumatized by what happened with both of you that she took that all out of Lil Nung and created this really oppressive environment for her. And she was trying to escape that to be happy. And then Big asks the most valid question is, do you even realize that you harmed your own daughter? Like, do you even see that you guys traumatized her and like, wounded this girl like her whole life?

Do you even see that? No, the answer's no. No, the answer is no. And so like here they are putting big Nung on trial and big Nung's like my whole crime was that I actually loved her like who she was Little Nung, the person, not little Nung. The idea like the it's one thing to be like, I would love a daughter. Like the idea, the concept. That's big, that's Chet, right? He's like, I like the concept of having a child. But then when it comes to actually parenting, he's like, I

don't like this. Like that's who he is. OK. Same thing with Pingfa to a degree because like you didn't, you were robbed of the chance to parent little nun. So you don't know how to parent her. So when you actually have to parent her, it goes poorly. So 'cause it's like the idea, it's like expectation versus reality a little bit and big nun's like. Chet has concepts and ideas of a right. He has concepts and ideas of parenting, right? Literally that's that's that's

kind of the problem. It's like having an idea versus like the reality of that situation are two different things. And Big Nung has just was dragged into the reality of little known by little known and like fell in love with her anyway and was like, she's like,

that's my crime. My crime was that I actually loved who who she is as a person, but the family just wants her to be the villain because it's easier to blame the outsider than look inside and actually like be like, oh, whoops, I have to take responsibility for my own actions. All right. But at this point in the conversation, like Big Nung is upset. OK? But again, what's going on? Little Nung is still in the OR and they don't know what the hell is happening with her.

So like emotions are still very high at this point. And like Big Nung is like past her breaking point with all this bullshit cuz she's been fighting these battles with these people for way too long and it's exhausting. This family is exhausting. OK, definitely. They're exhausting and like this. These are desperate times. It's not time for niceties. Now is the time that she needs to pull their heads out of their asses and get them to accept the role that they played in all of

this. And she does her damnedest to try and get them to see it. But all the adults in the room aren't ready to be adults, like I've said. So instead Pingfa double s down on blaming Big Nung for everything and says if you hadn't met my daughter we wouldn't be in the situation. OK, no, no, I don't. I don't think. I don't think this is true because if they hadn't met, I'm not fully convinced Little Nung would still be here. I agree with you. Yeah, because. I agree.

Suicidal ideation does not happen overnight, it's the result of years of trauma and most like oh definitely depression, no. She was definitely depressed. Yeah, for sure. There's so much going on, like this is not an overnight decision. No, no, we we brushed way past the suicide thing with Lil Mung. We like it was like a line and we never talked about it again because it may be a societal thing where you just you don't

talk about that ever. But like, you're right, that line didn't come out of nowhere like that. There's a build up to somebody verbalizing that out loud. Like the only reason why that wasn't acted on before most likely is because of big non. Yeah, I agree. I agree. I I is here today because of big non like OK, so then OK, now that she's she's I think big non ex ex fully expected Chet to shit all over here. But then to hear it from ping FA like I thought we were Bros.

What the fuck ping FA? So this is when like big nung starts like caving a bit, right? And then she asks what did I do wrong? Like tell me what is my crime judge? What is my crime here today? Her crime is about to come up. And it's just silence. OK, silence. And then Big Nung makes a bold claim. She says. I've never done anything wrong in my life. I'm. Sorry this one.

This is the funniest line ever. This was the funniest line ever because it gave me, you've probably seen the famous gift from Parks and Rec where it's I've never done anything wrong in my life ever. And the dad goes, I know this. And then the daughter goes, money, please. Like have you ever seen that gift? It's one of my funniest things ever. My wife and I quote it all the time. It's so funny cuz like it's like a despicable human being saying this. I'd be like, I don't do anything

wrong, give me money anyway. It's so funny. Go watch Parks and Rec if. You I need. To watch a show just so, you need to watch Parks and Rec. It's one of the best shows of all time. OK, but OK big numb. In the context of this conversation, she's right. She didn't do anything wrong here. She was the one who's actually looking out for the long the whole time. What never We are never letting you off the hook for one O sex big nun for claiming to little nun you used her for sex.

That was despicable. That was their The body is the footage from that episode that there was a crime. Because that was wrong. Girl, that was so wrong. It was it was so wrong, but also so wrong. No one has never done anything wrong in their life. And there's a double negative there, but even like perfect people quote that they think that they're perfect, they

they've done something wrong. It may not be like huge thing, but like it's just that that is it's also very subjective what something wrong is correct morality is. That's why Chet doesn't think he's done anything wrong either. Yeah, even though he's a walking red flag. Yeah, that's me. He would be in America too. He'd. Thrive in America. That's the gross part. He would I. Know, but in this situation Chet and Pinkfa are being extreme right now. Yes, and this is basically just

big numb matching their words. Yeah. It's very wrong. But also big numb. We love you so, we love you so much. I'm like, girl, if I was here in this hospital, that right, that woman could clearly never do anything wrong in her life. Look at her. She's perfect Dior. I don't think there's any doubt that we're on big nugs. We're always on big nugs side. Even when she's being despicable I still love her. Anyway. I'm little Nung in this all all of these scenes.

Like, I still love you even though you're terrible sometimes. I mostly find her lyric. That line was so funny though, cuz a it made me think of Parks and Rec and I was like, girl, what what a bold claim. All right, So after they're like, yeah, she is perfect. They were quiet for like a hot second while they're presumably like presumably processing with big Nung said who knows? Then Big Nung starts breaking like her like just like she's doing her best to hold it together.

But like again, think of the stakes of the situation. They still don't know what's going on. And she starts sobbing and getting more upset than before. And she desperately asked like why can't we just love each other? Because really that's the root of all of this. Like why? Like why? Give me an actual reason why we can't do this. Because up till now it's just been a bunch of bullshit that you guys are making this about yourselves. But like, why?

And then they say nothing. So she says it again, louder, and then stares directly at Pingfa. And Pingfa flinches a little bit when she's like directly confronted with this question. Like almost like this passion coming from big and that desperation that you is palpable in the hospital. It stings her a bit. Well, it's also kind of like the same way that she was telling her to, like, love her back. Like, why can't we be together? Yeah, yeah, I think Ping Pho recognizes the feelings and

that's the thing. And I do wonder, cause again, empathy, right? Ping Pho's been in this situation with Big Nun before and she's like, oh shit, I understand the vibe here 'cause I wonder if up until this point if Ping Pho really believed the depths of Big Nung's feelings for Little Nung, 'cause remember, Big Nung has like tried to explain it to her. She's like, you know, we're just a regular couple that love each other, like whatever.

And she's kind of had conversations with Ping Pho where she's trying to explain the relationship to her. But I wonder if Ping Fu didn't like fully grasp what the hell Big Nung was saying. And I, and I wonder if a part part of her stayed in denial about what Big Nung was saying because it was just easier for her to do that than like, believe a Big Nung was saying. But like here in this moment, listening to Big Nung pour her heart out is something Pingva

cannot ignore. Like she feels it, she flinches and she doesn't. You can tell that Pingva's actually really actively listening to Big Nung and feeling things as she's processing what Big Nung is saying to her. Like I think it finally clicks that like what Big Nung is feeling, Big Nung a feels things, which is new and 2nd. Like this is real. Like it's raw. Like what? Like the way she's delivering these lines and kind of just like carrying on with her grief is just real.

It's so real. Ping Fu is getting emotional from Big Nung. And it's at this time that like Big Nung fully just breaks and she just collapses onto the chair and asks again, like why? Why do you have to actively both of you go against me loving your daughter? Like why? Why are you so? Like, why do you have to actually like, sabotage it, basically? It's basically the same thing as asking why is it not OK for someone to be gay.

I mean, cause like, again, this situation is a little different because it's two things, but it's very similar. Like give me a valid reason why we cannot be together. Yep, and at this time, Big Nung is sitting now, so she's and she's very hunched over 'cause like the fight like this is draining her and she's looking up at Pingfa and Chet.

And so if you think about the body language here, like she's kind of cowering and it's like the ML, the queen is like powerless against these parents that are lording over her like figuratively, literally in the scene. And they're so hell bent on doing this that they're actively ignoring the harm that they're causing to the alleged person they're trying to protect in this in this situation, which is

little known. So Big Nun gets real with them and admits the reason she can empathize with Little Dong is 'cause she was in the same situation. She's like, I also have never felt happiness until Little Nung came into my life. In fact, like Big Nung goes as far to admit like she's super honest about the way she feels. She's like, I didn't think I was even capable of loving anybody

until Little Nung came along. And like, what a sad fate to resign yourself to Like, I I what was that like for Big Nine to be at one point be like, I guess I just can't love anybody. Like it. Like, it just it speaks to how lonely she actually was for like 30 plus years of existing. That's sad and, like, tragic. Yeah. Yeah. Like that was big. None's love, you know, and like like we said, like little dog

probably was depressed and shit. Like imagine what she like, you shouldn't really have powerful feelings, but like imagine what you know mentally what she was going through. Like who knows? Like I don't know. Probably a big nun for making it this far. Right. And being as put together as she wasn't, she's kind of a disaster when we first met her. But it's like understandable girl like that was, I mean, she didn't have Sam. It could have been way worse.

Though, right? I, I, I will, oh I will die on the hill. That little long situation was worse because she was actually alone. She's the only child that was alone. Sam. Helped tremendously. Yeah. And the fact that Big Nung had to, like, look out for her sisters gave her a purpose and something to do despite her loneliness. That you could, like, put your loneliness aside and, like, be, like, focusing on my sisters. But, like, Little Nung had no options. She was just trapped, OK.

And then think about who Big Nung is saying this to. She's saying, I've never been happy before I met your daughter. And I didn't know I was capable of loving anybody until she came along. She's saying this and not just Lil Nung's parents. She's saying it to her, quote, close friends. And I imagine this is if they didn't know this, Ping Pho probably knew parts of this about Big Nung because they actually probably talked. But Chet, this is probably brand

new information for him. And so like to hear that big Nog was like lonely the whole time he was engaged to her. So the herd of like straight up say I didn't love anybody. I've never been happy ever, including when I was with you, right? Insert that into Chet's brain. That's a lot if you didn't know that. OK so she's admitting I was lonely and not happy even when I was with you guys, my close friends like. Yeah, and you know, I mean, it's a big thing because again, both

of them wanted to be with her. And I'm wondering like if a part of both of them, even Pingfa was like still holding on to hope that maybe one day it could happen. Just like maybe I mean, Pingfa most like she's moved on, but you know, like this like that little inkling, like what if maybe one day, but this is her saying that she's never loved them. Yes, I'm I like, but again, she's been telling Chet this, but she's been telling Chet this, but again, he he doesn't listen.

He didn't get it. So maybe this time it'll stick, who knows. Who knows? Are they still having this? Conversation now in life, in Chet's. Brain. Who knows? Yeah, like, OK. But like, I wanted to insert one of my favorite songs ever that just kind of encapsulates how Big Nuns felt or his feeling. And it's dark blue by Jack's mannequin. And if you hadn't heard of it, heard it, The main chorus is dark blue. Dark blue. Have you ever been alone in a crowded room?

And that line stuck with me forever because, yeah, I feel like that was Big Nun's whole life. Like, yeah, she was surrounded by people, Chet Pingfa, the Grand Man sisters, but she always felt alone no matter what. And like. That is very true. Dark blue. Dark blue. Because from an outsider's perspective, she has so much. She now has both parents, she has a grandmother, she has friends at school. But again, her friends, I don't think they know everything either. Little. Nuns. They.

Yeah, little nuns. Little nuns. Also theme song is dark blue. I'm talking about Big Nun. But, yeah, little nuns. Oh my gosh. Yeah. OK, All right. All of them. I mean, again, they're very similar. Lives. Lives. And then the rest of the song goes, when I'm here with you, I could see the world could be burning, burning down, like. And it's like, that's Big Nung and Little Nung. When they're together, they kind

of erases the loneliness. And they're like, the world could burn now, but I finally found happiness with you. And So what does it matter? Nothing else matters. And that's kind of like another theme song for them, basically. Yeah, I heard that song. Go listen to it. Jack's Madigan. Also. I love that band. All right, so as Big Nung delivers the line, I never thought I could love anyone. It pans, the camera pans to chat.

And like I said, I hope he finally heard these words and understood them for what they were, but who knows? And after Big Nung says the only person that made her feel loved is little Nung, that cuts to Pingfa, who is 100% grieving her unrecrited love for Big Nung over again. I'm pretty sure 'cause like you said, small part of her is like oh man, even though she's. I mean, it's big Nung. It's probably the first person she actually fell in in love

with. Right. That's what I mean, yeah. Like, like those big part, those feelings are big and they're they don't always go away. And so like, it still hurts, like even if you move on kind of thing. I feel like that's where Ping Fizz at maybe so big Nong asked them again. As the adult in the room, how can you blame this outcome on me and not take responsibility for your own actions? And neither of them have an answer, but like I've said

before, the answer is trauma. And I've kind of already gone through this. They're both like trapped in their childhood basically. So the bottom line is that neither of Little Mung's parents are fully functioning adults, which is why they cannot properly parent. They are still children. And I love the irony that the only adult in this conversation is Big Nung doesn't have any damn kids. She is not a parent, but she's the only adult in this in this conversation.

But the reason Big Nung is here and can behave this way is because she worked through her trauma. Like she actually watched her on screen work through a lot of her trauma with Little Nung and learn to like have like accept her feelings, process them, and then talk to them with Little Nung. That's why she can like be so

vulnerable in this scene. It's because Little Nung taught her how to do this, and at this point she is more emotionally mature than either Chet or Ping Pho and she's the one who's equipped to be quote like the adult. And I love the irony of this is that these two people have been basically trying to dictate Luna Long's entire life. Well, not entire life, entire life since they've met her. Again claiming to be the adult. She's a child, what does she

know? And like ironically, like the reason Big Nog is such a capable adult now is because Little Nog, the quote child, taught her how to be an adult. So like, the irony of that all is not lost on us. OK so Chen Pingva obviously have no answer for this. So Big Nog gets real serious and tells them I'm her everything. She's my everything too, OK? That's how much. That's how much little Monk means to her, and that's how much she means to little Monk. She's like, that's it.

Like, this is not some weird fling. It's not some, like, predatory shit. She's my entire world and I'm hers. And that's where our relationship actually is. She's still trying to get them to understand that it's a reciprocated relationship. Correct? She is not controlling their daughter. No. Their daughter is no longer. Well, she's never. You can't control her anyway. Have you met her? No, they probably don't know

her. No, and they also don't want it to be true that it's a reciprocated relationship. There are a few they want to be in denial because it feels better to be in denial, be like my daughter would never then to actually own the truth basically. OK then we get to the saddest part of this argument where Big Nam again is at her beyond her breaking point. So she takes Pingfa's hand and literally begs. She begs and Pink Pho gets real emotional but the and looks away

from Big NUM. She kinda can't handle this and then slowly takes her hand away from Big Numb. She's so sad. It is, it's so sad. Because you know what? It's also kind of like how when she told Big Numb that she was in love with her big nuns, starting to pull away a little bit. Oh yeah. So it's just history repeating itself in a very different way, but still similar. Like enough that it hurts both people. Yeah, no, that's, that's a good parallel to draw from.

And I was wondering, I'm like, OK, of all the people, why is she begging ping Pho and not chat? Because chat's right there. I think it's because Bing Big Nun knows that Ping FA1 listens when you tell her things. But more importantly, Ping FA is the one who's more empathetic towards Little Nung. Because Big Nung is not really making her case here. She's advocating for Little Nung in this scene to be like, you don't even know your daughter. Did you know she wasn't ever happy?

Did she know she had to pretend to be happy just to make you comfortable? Like did you know all these things about her? Like she's advocating for Little Nung in the scene and I think that she's seen over and over again that Ping Pho is the one that puts Little Nun first. They get to the hospital. What's the first thing that happens? Ping Pho is like, how's my

daughter like? So I think that's why she kind of like is pleading her case and like asking for mercy basically to just please accept your daughter to Ping Pho. But Ping Pho denies her that. So out of options and out of allies, big nun, it just openly breaks down and starts sobbing all over again. And she stays in her kind of crouched position, like completely broken. Like more broken than she was ever probably. And the camera cuts to Chet, who finally looks guilty, so guilty

that the bitch looks away. It's like you can't watch, can't watch her cry. He's such a dirty bitch. I really hate him. He's an asshole. So you know what? I. I think we need to stop talking about him real quick and let's do some shout outs for our Patreon because we have so many lovely Chaos Crew Patreon members and we want to make sure you all know how much we appreciate you.

And as always, we appreciate all of our Patreon members and also all of the people who follow us on YouTube and all the audio platforms. We are so happy that you'd love our content. You know what, even the ones who don't because you're giving us engagement, just saying. But we appreciate you loving this queer media talking about it with us, our discord. We have. So we have created this community and that was our main goal through all of this and it's just so happy to see it

become a reality. So for your shout outs for our Chaos Crew members on the Big Gay Ride or die tier and above, Jay, Dana, Natalia, Miranda, Regina and Renee and then our selected Big Gay supporter members, we have Memo, Angela and then Janie and Janie is actually our first ever annual member. Janie. Locked in for a year? Yes, you're stuck with us now. Yeah, for a whole year. A whole year that's longer than

Chet's been a parent. Wow. Yes, actually, no, I think it's it's technically been longer than that. I think because it was like 21 and then 22. I don't know. Yeah, fully. Calendar year hasn't passed since then, though. No, OK. Yeah, it's fine. He found out he was her father, like, on her birthday. So like, yeah, we're just gonna go with that. Jeannie.

But anyway, if you want to become an annual member too, you save 10% off the entire year so you can enjoy all of us, all of our queer discussions, reaction videos for an entire year for 10% less. Great deal, right? Good, that's just gay math. Gay math. All right, we let's get back to the episode. We have so much more to talk about. All right, let's get back into it. So some amount of time passes, who knows how much, And still no

word about Lil Nung's condition. So we're all still hanging out by the trauma Bay, and Ping Pho and Big Nung are sitting on the chairs with an empty space, a gap if you will, between them. My. God, the aura. What? It's not a bigger. Gap. It's just a gap. It's a normal gap, OK. And Chet is like chilling on the wall. I guess he's like, well, I'm the man. I got to be on the other side of the wall. Whatever.

He's being weird. And this, I don't know how long they've been here, but like, this must have been super awkward to just like, first of all, where we left things off big non was like having a mental breakdown on. And then what did they do? Just be like look at each other and, and be like, I guess I'm going to sit 'cause I'm tired. And then chess, just like I'm just going to stand by this wall. And it's just like awkward with the three of them in this room. I do wonder how much.

Time has passed, right? This was weird, OK. And then who knows? Big Young is still sobbing though, 'cause like trauma. But then it gets worse because the grandmother shows up and she comes running in and immediately runs to Pingva, not Chet. Which is interesting because Chet and the grandmother have been in cahoots the whole time and Pingfa's the outsider of the family. But yet, in a crisis, who does the grandmother come to? Her daughter. Interesting.

OK but Chet is hiding behind the wall like Pingfa's the first person she sees when she enters so I'm wondering if that has something to do with it again. But if she like Saw Big Nung first, no way she's going to ask her so. She would've just punched her. Like I don't even know words. But it's interesting that the grandmother comes running in asking how little Nung is doing, because it's showing that she

does care about her. True. She just cares about the family's reputation and failing her, her failure more than yes, Oh no. But in this moment, all that goes out the window. She is caring about little no Yeah. Chet is now the only person who hasn't shown that he cares how she is doing. Are we surprised? Are we surprised? Did we not make the case that he is the selfish one in this show 'cause I think we did. OK, Your Honor, I rest my case. OK? I don't know who's on, who's the judge?

Probably you guys at home, listeners, judges in the comments. Where did we make the case that Chet is the selfish one in the show? OK, so Pingfa tells her mother they don't know anything about Lil Nog's condition yet. She's just in the OR, presumably. And the grandmother then starts sobbing and Chet looks away from this because he can't handle emotions, obviously, like I said. And Big Nog starts to look distant because I think she empathizes with the pain here because she also loves.

I don't know, right? But then a dark cloud passes because the grandmother notices Big Nog 'cause Big Nun's standing now, and Big Nun's tall, and you can't miss her now. She was cowering the coroner. And it's like, oh, there's a goddess in this. Wait, a group? Wait. No, it's a devil. Oh my God, a demon. This was Pluto. It'd be Satan, right? We still don't know what Pluto's about. Guys, it's all right. Don't tell us in the comments. We're watching it. We'll get there, but where the

gap it doesn't matter anyway. So then basically Speaking of gap, we get the scene from Gap, the series where Song's in the hospital and the grand man shows up and like physically assaults Song's girlfriend in public. And that's essentially what happens here where the grandmother assaults Nung the girlfriend. What were these little grannies taught that? I don't know. It's. You first resorted to slapping in a crisis. Oh no Gap was worse.

Like the grandma, the grand man like beat up ice in the waiting room. It was terrible. Like literally was assaulting this girl like she was on the ground and like the grand man was just going and would not stop. Like never even. Met her before? No, didn't meet her, just was beating the shit out of her in the middle of the hot.

Which like security anyway. I don't know what goes on in Thai hospitals if there are security, but in America there's security in hospitals because people in America are crazy. We have. We just got metal detector that you have to walk through at our hospital. I don't even want to ask why we needed that now anyway.

Oh my gosh, that's insane. Now I brought AI know this is not related, but I brought in an entire bag of jello and I was questioned by the security for my mom was in the hospital. That's all she could eat. They only had one flavor. She wanted other flavors. That's what. So I brought in this big bag of jello and they're like, are you, do you only have jello in this bag? I'm like, yeah, didn't think anything of it. Like, yeah, weird people could probably put something in there

to sneak it in so they can. She she scans it and she's like, oh, yeah, no, it's all jello. I'm like, yeah, I told you it was jello. Yeah. Then it occurred to me. But. Yeah. But this is not the person who needed to be slapped in the scene. Yes, it's. But if there has to be one person, the answer is always chat. Yeah, but there was this whole thing like it's a butterfly effect that's probably going to end up being, you know what, that's your spoiler. That's your secret phrase word

thing, butterfly effect. Good luck with that. But Big Dung is, however, slapping herself enough for all of them on the inside like she is beating. Herself up over this. That's insane. But like I, I do get it it I mean it will look better on screen and it helps you react better to it as well. But like it's pretty extreme. I hope they needed to do that many times. Like she already has to put herself in a bad emotional place and to get it slapped on top of it all. Right.

But the most surprising thing about this scene is that after the assault happens, Chet and Pinkfa physically restrained the grandmother. OK, they don't just they don't let her pull a grandma and just beat the shit out of the girlfriend in the middle of the hospital. They actually stop her after the first slap, which I thought was kind of surprising because like they came in here. Well, mostly Chuck. Chuck came in here attacking nun

nun verbally. And then here's somebody who actually physically attacks Nung and he actually stops the woman, which is weird. I didn't that surprised me, I'm not going to lie. And I thought about it and I wonder if it's like, because if you think about it, when they first saw Nung in the hospital, you know, they were adrenaline going high. They were emotionally charged. They didn't know what was going on with little Nung. And so like, they're at the height of their unchecked

emotions. And so like, took it all out on like, Pinkfoot cried and then Chet was like, you're the devil Nung. Like they, you know, that was how he was getting out his emotions. But who knows how much time has passed since that last scene. And so I think that maybe they calmed down and had time to maybe process some of their emotions, especially when it comes to big none because they were coexisting in that space together, you know, But the grandmother hasn't.

The grandmother's coming in. Her gentleman's running high. Her emotions are unchecked. She doesn't know what the Hell's going on. Here's the devil in the waiting room. So I think wonder if they stop her because like the propriety of it all, like grandmother do not cause a scene in the hospital. You know, there's that aspect of it cause which is usually the grandmother's number one concern.

So she's like ping pals probably like ma'am, you're going to regret this later when I tell you you were causing a scene in the middle of the hospital. Remember, literally every time Lil Mung does something that's not quote proper, the grandmother's like manners, young lady, basically ping pals like manners, older lady, like what the hell?

So And I think that that behavior from the grandmother who's doing something improper in public is a testament to just how out of sorts she is really in this moment because she's causing a social faux pas by slapping royalty in public. Yeah, I mean, again, outsiders would be like, what the hell is going on? Also, how are these the only people in the waiting room? I guess there's no other traumas. I mean, traumas are not scheduled. They just kind of happen

whenever. So like, if they're in the trauma Bay, like it's possible that Norman is the only person in the trauma Bay, right? Or the trauma OR right now. OK, that's not that's plausible. Improbable. Yeah, it's not improbable. It's actually pretty probable. All right. So bottom line is the grandmother is one full scene behind everybody else. It's kind of a problem and it's basically she starts blaming Nun. She was chatting the prior scene, she's blaming Nung for literally everything that

happened now. And she goes a step further. She's like, it's your fault for what happens now and whatever happens in the future, it's all your fucking fault now. All right. I mean, for the grandmother being a full scene behind, like that's when you need a little nung stalker to have filmed everything for them. Anyway, back to the grandmother. She isn't necessarily telling Big Nung that it's her fault. Like she keeps screaming that she has to be responsible for it.

And the way that she kept saying that like you have to take responsibility, you have to be responsible. The wording makes it seem like the grandmother might be blaming herself for this in some way, especially failing in her mission to make sure little Nung turned out perfect. And she can't let herself take responsibility, and it's almost as if she's begging Big Nung to take full responsibility so she doesn't have to feel it. It doesn't make it right, but it

looks desperate. Not like she's actually accusing her. It puts her on par with Chet, who also refuses to take responsibility. Who's the real adult in the scene? Everyone. Little Nung. Big nung. How long is that in this scene? That's true. She doesn't have to be in. The scene to be the adult in the scene there all right, but it back to the scene. So apparently the grandmother isn't done manhandling Nung and she still manages to break free of Tret and Ping Pho which like go to the gym.

You too. What the hell, you can't even hold back an elderly woman like what the hell is wrong with you guys? And the grandmother manages to get loose and get a few more shoves in at Nung before she's restrained again by her useless daughter and whatever the hell Chet is. OK? Thankfully, at this point, the trauma surgeon chooses to come out of the OR and he enters the chat and he's like, are you Her family doesn't verify a damn thing.

And then he's like, all right, let me tell you all of her health information. Cuz like, I'm like, Sir, what, what is this? But I assume she's the only patient. And so these people are hanging out here. So he's like, are you with the trauma patient? Cool. Let me tell you what's going on. But when he asks if there are relatives, Chet is the one to immediately step in and say he is the father. And like again, he only cares about looking like he has the power here and like he's in

charge. Right. Yeah, exactly. He's in charge. She. Doesn't say shit like most of the scene, no. It's all about appearances, right? OK, so then the trauma surgeon's like, all right, here's what happened. She's got a broken arm and a traumatic brain injury, which is pretty lucky for somebody who was in a motor vehicle accident. I'm like, how does she not have broken ribs? You're telling me all she got was a broken arm and then a

traumatic brain injury or TBI? That makes that makes sense. But like, damn, OK. She got pretty lucky, actually. But the catch is because of the TBI, little Lung is in a coma. And she's like, we don't know when she's going to wake up from the coma because, like, brains are weird, basically. And the three family members kind of console each other in the corner. So like, Chet Ping Pho and the grandmother are like, OK, she's OK, whatever, She's OK.

And then poor big nun sits back down by herself on the sad chair and it's like processing this all by herself. So that's where we're at. The family unit is back to being a unit and big nuns the outsider and like, but at least we know that she's alive, OK? That's all we know. Then I assume she gets out of the OR and they give her her own

private room. And then we cut to that private room where Little Nung is surrounded by her family and Big Nung. And I'm not gonna lie, I'm shocked they let her into the room. I'm like, how did she get? Into this room. Right, many steps had to happen before we got into this room and they let her in the room, which is wild but I wonder if like doctors or nurses were with little nung and it's like we got our shit together now we can't cause a scene. Gotta wait till the doors closed.

I wonder if that's what it was. Because again, grandma, they had to calm the grandmother down. They're like, all right, let's look, calm down, Lee. And I watch the propriety, propriety. And then like, I wonder if that kicked in and she's like, can't count on the sea and slap royalty in the middle of the hospital again. Anyway, So. So for some reason, they let big nun like close enough to touch little nun.

I don't understand how this scene actually happened when you understand mentally where everybody else in the room is at. But for some reason they're like, OK, big Nung, you can touch little Nung now.

And so we hear rather than see Big Nung sobbing hysterically as she like starts like touching Little Nung because it's like, it's that thing where remember when in two O 3 when Lola Nung disappeared and Big Nung broke every traffic law in Thailand to go find her in the Isle of Lesbos And she finds her and she's a hysterical mess until she hugs Big Nung or until she hugs Little Nung. It's one of those things where it's like, I can see that you're OK and I can feel that you're

OK. It's just like that thing where she's like, I have to touch her to know that she's real and that she's alive and I'm like dreaming. And so that physical touch is grounding to Big Nung. It's always been grounding. Lil Nung knew that Lil Nung always took advantage of the physical touch because she knows it helps Big Nung center her dark thoughts. Interestingly, the women are all around Little Nut. OK, you got Ping. Pho and the mom are next on one

side of the bed. They're united front in the scene, looking over long big nuns on the other side of the bed, touching her hand, touching her face, doing all those things. Trent's in the corner where he belongs. Mind you, quietly for now, watching Big Nun and Ping foot like hover, watching everybody hover along. He doesn't know what to do, and like even if Little Numb was awake, he still wouldn't know what to do. Again, he's not a father. No, he's been cosplaying a father.

That, that that's a great way to he's got he, he does what he's good at, be close to the situation in order to have the attention be on him, but don't actually act on anything. That's basically his parenting philosophy. Yeah. He's worse. Yeah. So, Q, what happens next? Because of course, we can't just have nice moments. Chad has to get up and ruin it. And so he demands now that Big Nung leave, he's like, she's safe. You can say that. There's no reason for you to be

here anymore. But he doesn't say anything until he sees that Big Nung caresses little Nung's cheek, cause like that's when it gets too intimate and too gay for his demon eyes. Yes, and ever the good teammate to chat, the grandmother chimes in and she's like, I won't let you ever step foot in this room again. And Big Dong stares at this woman and like the read I have on her face is like, it's not that she's like, this is unbelievable. I can't believe this.

It's more like a disappointment. I think, 'cause she's like, I can empathize with you. Why can't you empathize with me kind of thing. And I think like on some level, from her own experience, Big Nung knew that the grandmother was going to be the hardest person to convince of her love for Little Nung. Because think about her experience at the Grand Man. Like the Grand Man never wanted to talk about anything that didn't fit her narrative.

And so she denied Big Nung those heart to heart conversations she needed. She like took that shit to the grave. So Big Nung at this stage doesn't even like bother trying to plead her case or trying to like empathize with this woman or get this woman to empathize with her because like, it's not going to work.

But her empathy does like connect with one person in the room and that's Pingfa. So when everybody else is like, get out knowing you're forbidden from coming in here, Pingfa says please, please go because like, everyone's getting emotional again. And like, it's like World War 3 is about to break out. Pink was like, please go. I'll call you when she wakes up. So like Pingfa is saying like, I'll keep you updated because I, I, I, she can see Big Nong is

worried, right? And she's like, I'll do you this kindness of like keeping you updated, which is more than the rest of them we're going to do right now. When we were watching, if you watched our reaction video, I was firm under the belief that there's no way in hell Big Nun was ever going to leave the hospital unless Lung woke up. And I still believe that because under normal circumstances, if Lung was out cold, there's no way Big Nung leaves her side for

more than three seconds. Like there's no way she would ever voluntarily, voluntarily leave Little Nung. But these are not normal circumstances since she doesn't exactly have a choice right now. So she talks to Little Nung and promises her I'll come see you again at this. Point Pingfa is really the only one who could convince her to leave though, because. Yeah, that's true. I know she wouldn't really have a choice of Chet or the grandmother said it, but it would take a lot more.

With Pingfa, she has proved that she does care about Little Nung, the only one who really, I mean the grandmother, yes, but she does prioritize other things over a little note, and Pingfa's the most likely to let her see Little again. Yeah, that's the bottom line part yeah cuz you're right. Cuz if like if she just had to deal with Chet and the grandmother like a fight a brawl would break out basically. Yeah. OK, so then big none kind of

accepts defeat here. And then as she exits makes lingering eye contact with Chet. And like, I couldn't fully understand her expression here. If it's like she's challenging him, like like being like I am going to come back and see her again. Like I don't really know what this linger like disappointment in Chet. I don't know what this look really was to be honest with you. I paused it on her face and like

again she's still sad. Well yes, but her her face to me looks like she's saying you are an asshole and a terrible father. I wish you weren't in any of our lives. Is that what her face said, or is that what our brains are saying 'cause like? Both, yeah. OK, here's where you're probably right. So what happens? What I think is kind of telling. OK, so then Big Nung leaves, right? So now there's an empty spot by the bed where she was standing. So what does Chet do?

He comes right in and takes that spot as if again, to my point earlier, he was been trying to get rid of Big Nong so that he can step in and get all of the. This is what her and Ping Pong were him and Ping Pong were trying to do. Get rid of Big Nong, the person that Long clearly is affectionate towards, so we can scoop up all the affection. So what does he do? As if in his mind, Little Long didn't love him because Big Nung was there taking up all that

space. And now that Big Nung's gone, there's all that empty space so he can swoop in and claim all of her love. So he's physically doing that now. Now that Big Nung is gone. Meanwhile, what were the women in the room doing like? They never left her side like Mom and grandmother never left Little Long Side. Chet waited until Big Nung was out of the picture for him to then I hate him so much.

I. Don't as if you didn't know what an opportunist piece of shit that he is constantly and it's just this scene just was why I hate him so broken hearted. Big Nung returns to the Bua palace and she's just in like zombie mode. She's just walking to the palace. There's no emotions she's just holding it together enough to get into her room and she walks right past Auntie Nim like she doesn't even see her OK and just keeps going until she gets it goes up the stairs basically.

And Auntie Nim looks worried like what the fuck is this? Like big nun looks so lifeless and just like a void of like any emotion, which is not something she's seen from big Nung probably since she moved back into the palace. Because remember when Big Nung moved back into the palace, it was on the cusp of the grand man dying.

And so big Nung was upset when the grand man died and also like upset about the relationship with little Nung ending because of her despicableness at the end of one O 6. But also like that was the last time she was like really that upset. And so like this is worse. She's like catatonic walking around and so and James, like what on earth happened? You're a completely different person today. And also like what time it is that you're just getting home now.

Like nung nung nung stay out late. She's 30, never Like where the hell was she like? Her bedtime is 9:00. Right now it's like in the same she's like what happened to Nung something and she does not look OK. So ATM clocks this and I think call Sam off screen so cuz Sam's got spies in the palace like let's be honest one of Sam's spies called her after this. So big Nung then enters her empty room and the little Nung doll is waiting for her on top of the bed.

And if there's ever a time that big Nung needed to hug anything including a doll it's right now. So I'm so glad she has this doll. So she climbs under the bed and like cradles the doll, which is the stand in little Nung OK, and says I'm sorry. And like again, cuz like big Nung only says I'm sorry to little Nung. So she's saying it to the doll cuz like she's again saying what she wanted to say to little Nung to the doll. And she kind of says that a few times and then hugs the doll and

just like starts crying. And I wonder, like with the I'm sorry if like the family bullshit is starting to get to her and Big Nun does feel guilty about everything and is blaming herself for like the outcome just just like she did with Song, even though it's like big Nun, you're 1 actor in the play. Like this isn't entirely your fault. Like you played some part but not the everybody made choices, right? And I wonder if she's back to that dark place like she was with Song.

So if some amount of time passes and Big Young is still curled up on the bed, clutching the doll like a lifeline and just, like, crying endless tears, right? And one thing, I'm surprised, I'm honestly surprised that she didn't listen to the voice recording on a repeat of little Ron with the cute birthday wish. But I mean, we never see her do that. That's the part that I think is weird.

But like, at this stage it's probably too soon and like, painful to even fathom listening to her voice right now, but I'm just surprised we didn't get a scene of her doing that at some point during all of this. Yeah, I could see that. I could see a way like, like a reason she would avoid it completely. A reason she would keep playing it over and over, just memorizing every tone and inflection in her voice. It's it's big. No, you can never fully predict what she's going to do.

But I think it's, I think it's too soon right now, personally. She never lets go of this doll though, and she also keeps her phone as close as possible because she is not about to miss Ping Pho's call. No, probably. She probably never kept that phone so charged in her life. I'm surprised it's not like plugged. In. As right now, right? I agree. All right. But before Pingfa can even call, Big Nung beats her to it and calls Pingfa 1st to check up on Little Nung.

She's like you told me. You're gonna tell me when she woke up, I'm gonna call you, right? Yeah, and when she calls her, we see little Nung in the room again, and Pingfa is the only one by her side at this point, which is very telling. All right, so Big Nung's like, what the hell, What's going on? And Pingfa reports there's been no change to her condition. She's still, like, out in a coma, basically. And Big Nung flips out and

accuses Pingfa of lying to her. She's like, you're lying just to keep me away from her. Like I know it, which is a very defensive response. But I don't blame Big Nung for like jumping to this accusation based on how she left things with the family. And I think, you know, because she's like, you guys obviously just want to keep us apart no matter what. That's why we're all here. Let's be honest. But I think she's also lashing out because the truth of that statement hurts too much.

Like if there's no change, like she's not getting better, you know, like that reality is hard to accept, right? So cuz in Big Nung's mind, she's like Little Nung has to be OK because like, what happens to me if she something out? Like, you know what I mean? She's like, she has to be OK so I can be OK. Like she has to be OK. Like I don't think Big Nung can fathom living in a world where Little Nung doesn't exist. So like, she has to be OK,

right? I think that's where her brain's at. But Pinkfin says she isn't lying because. And Pinkfin's like she's like, no, why would I lie to you? Like everyone's worried about her. I'm worried like Pinkfin's terrified because she doesn't understand why her daughter hasn't woken up yet. So let's take a moment to answer Pingfa's question. Why isn't why isn't she awake yet? Non OK.

We're about to get. Doctor T in the house little long suffer from a traumatic brain injury or a TBI because of her motor vehicle accident. OK so like car hits her, she goes flying and then head hits pavement. OK, that's the brain injury. All right, Yes, she has a broken arm, but that's not why she's in a coma. We're going to focus on the brain. This is why she's in a coma. OK, Because what, when the when the car hit her, OK, we call that blunt force trauma.

So if something hard hits her, she topples over versus like penetrating trauma, which is something like then stabs into the body kind of deal. She didn't have that blunt force and then her head hit the pavement, which is really, really hard. OK, so because this happened to her brain, her brain is unable to function normally until it heals, if it even can. That's kind of like unclear also

in this situation. Cause like there'd be a lot of swelling and it's like kind of hard to tell what's going to happen now. But like she's not on any machines that are keeping her alive. So no breathing apparatus, nothing like that. So like her organs are functioning, which is a good sign because like that's all kind of connected to your central nervous system, which starts at the brain, goes down your spine, and that keeps you functioning on like a organ

level. OK, so like that's a good sign, but her brain sustained a lot of trauma. So like, it has to heal. OK, Our brains are super fragile organs, which is why we have skulls, which are very hard bone that protects them at all time. So while her brain recovers from this trauma that happened to it, she's going to like be unconscious. Like the brain kind of shuts down while it heals. OK, So like, what does that actually mean when they say she's going to be unconscious?

So there's psychological unconsciousness. So meaning she's not aware of what's going on, like mentally because like, her eyes are going to be closed, she can't perceive things. And a lot of that perception comes from nerves, which comes from the brain and the spinal cord and that kind of stuff. It's also like this would mess with her spinal cord too, depending on how she fell. But anyway, that's not important.

So there's that her ability to be aware of her surroundings is going to be impaired while she's in the coma. But then there's also neurological unconsciousness, which is when parts of the executive function of the brain is going to shut down. Sorry, I have a dog that's barking while the brain slows down and recuperates basically.

And that manifests as the paralytic coma, which is why she's not moving at all, OK. Because you can be unaware of shit and still like retain kind of a function of like your limbs and things like that. But like she's paralytic coma. OK, so. When ATBI happens, there are multiple phases of recovery that are going to happen. First is the coma stage, OK, which is where she's at right now. So that's that neurological and psychological unconsciousness that she's experiencing.

Then you'll transition into something called a vegetative state where the brain is starting to like recuperate its functions again. OK. So like, she might get to the stage where she can like, open her eyes or she'll be able to like, sleep and wake up on her own. She may not be able to like, be super aware. Like she might not be able to track things with her eyes. She might not be able to like speak or like command parts of her body.

But like, there's more evidence that like, she can function, right? OK. But she still can't function independently neurologically or psychologically at that point. And then as she kind of keeps progressing, she'll end up in a like a minimally conscious kind of state where she has more function where like maybe she can kind of track things with her eyes. She maybe she is able to speak sometimes and maybe she can

recognize things. Maybe she can kind of move her arms sometimes, things like that. Like you'll start seeing like more as she progresses all the way to like full recovery, if that's even possible. Depending on the TBI, you'll see her be able to do more things, work that the brain controls basically, so from vegetative state. And that will be in her, like she'll be conscious, but like she'll have degrees of impairment depending on like actually kind of recover.

So until she can like fully function again, both psychologically and neurologically. OK. So there's multiple phases to this recovery that she's going to be through or go through. OK Make sense so far. Yeah. OK, so at this stage, Lil Nung is directly out of the trauma Bay. We don't know what time it is because we don't know how long Nung's been sleeping with the doll. We don't know what the Hell's been. We never know what time it is. But like. Right.

It's like been, we know that from the next scene, it's been less than two days since the accident. That's all we know. So she's basically just came out of the accident essentially. And so she's in her in the coma stage, OK, which is the most severe in terms of lack of consciousness on every, every level. So that means that she's not able to like, open her eyes. She can't regulate sleep, She can't function at all basically aside from like her organs are functioning on their own.

That's basically it. So the question is like the doctor couldn't answer like when she's going to be conscious again and like being a doctor, OK, those words mean stuff. OK. So when you say conscious, that means something different to a doctor than just a lame layman's terms because, like, conscious is like, you're awake and moving around and stuff. And like, conscious of a doctor is like, they can fully function neurologically, psychologically.

And so like, he doesn't know the answer to that question because, like, it's hard to determine that. But we want to know is like, when is she going to come out of this coma stage? Because that's the most critical and severe of all the stages. OK. And if she can get out of that, then it looks good for her. So the exact duration of a coma after a TBI is it's often you don't know, OK, but rarely does it last more than four weeks. Now before you get mad at chow, because we know how long the

Long's going to be out for. The coma stage is the first stage in the road to recovery after a TBI. OK, So if we take the maximum time, 4 weeks, OK. So at minimum, at most little long is going to be in the coma stage for four weeks. But what happens after that? How will she progress into the other stages? And so she's fully conscious and like able to function again. OK, so I will put a chart on screen for those who can the video that like it really depends.

Like she can progress pretty rapidly and it's matter of weeks before she comes out of all of these stages. It can be months. It kind of just depends. And there's a lot of factors that can play a role in this, including like the extent of the injury itself, which we don't really know, and her health at baseline. OK. So bottom line is the more severe the TBI, the longer the duration of consciousness because the brain needs more time to recover, right?

Which makes sense. The greater the injury, the longer the recovery makes sense. The one factor that she has working for her is the baseline health thing with meaning before the accident, how healthy was she? She's a very young woman, like medically speaking without comorbidities. So it's just not really nothing wrong with her a baseline that would be expected to impair healing on any level. So like, you would expect her just based on that to like, recover very quickly.

But I wonder if this is where Little Hung's quote, childhood ailments kind of come into play. Because if those were real things that she was dealing with under, like, that's an underlying medical condition, perhaps that impairs her ability to heal when something trauma happens to her body like this. So like, maybe that slows it down. But like, because we never got clarity on what the hell was wrong with her. So like maybe, maybe, maybe. OK, but let's say the coma stage lasts 4 weeks.

After the coma stage, she's going to go to that vegetative state where she's still kind of out of it, but like there's more neurological movement happening with her indicating her brain functions recovering, like eye, the eyelid twitching, body twitching, things like that. OK.

So if she can reach the vegetative state, come out of the coma 4 weeks after the TBI, which is like the maximum that usually happens of the patients that can achieve that, about 60 to 90% of them will recover their consciousness and that can take up to a year after the accident. So it's not like Grey's Anatomy where someone moves a finger and then they all of a sudden are awake and can speak. No, not at all. This was more realistic, actually. The way they play this out, then

no, that's not how that happens. I don't. OK Grey's Anatomy is not super accurate. It's Grey's Anatomy. I know that, but like a lot of shows do that. Because, like, they don't have a year to linger on this patient. You have to wrap their shirt up in 60 minutes. All right? So, like, this is actually the reality of what Lilong's loved ones are dealing with. Like, her actual full recovery

can take up to a year, OK? And the longer she's unconscious, the longer she's in the coma stage and even the vegetative stage, the more advanced her medical care needs are going to become. And this is where I get taken out of the show because I have no evidence on screen that she has any of these advanced medical care interventions

happening. There's a couple that happened, like realistic things that I'm appreciative of, but like she would need feeding tubes to feed her because nothing happened to her abdomen. There's no evidence that like any of that happened. Her ribs aren't broken, nothing like that. So she can still eat, but like she'd need a feeding tube to feed her. She's not going to be able to urinate on her own.

So she'd need like a Foley. They would have to come in there and offload her because if she's laying down for an extended period of time, you're at risk for pressure sores, which can get infected. They would have to move her around to prevent that from happening. And I see no evidence of that on screen. So that takes me out personally. But aside from like that, the timeline of what happens to Little Nung because she's out for like 3 months is what we know from the episode.

It's not that far fetched actually. But for me personally, like her medical care needs on screen would reflect that that time elapse. One thing that does happen that I appreciate is like, eventually when she wakes up, there is evidence that she does actually need to recover. Like we see her doing physical therapy because, yeah, her muscles are going to waste while she's laying there. So that was super realistic. I was really appreciative of that.

Like, that's so real because yeah, it's not like Grey's Anatomy where like the hand twitches and all of a sudden everything's fine and like she's totally normal and can move around. That would no, you can barely stand after you've been immobile for three months. That's insane. So and the other thing too that like when she wakes up, I appreciate about is that she doesn't seem mentally 100% there. Like she's very slow and she's like, I'm tired already.

That's realistic. Because when she transitions like even to the wakefulness stage, her cognition's not going to be there 100% after as bad of a brain injury as she has. Like she's like she's going to have like brain fog and she's going to be slow mentally because her brain is it's still

recovering actively. So like, I think Yoko did a really good job of like being realistic about it, like when she comes out of the coma, because like, yeah, like she, I feel like she would have a degree of cognitive impairment for like probably months even after getting out of the hospital. Like because that's a, that's a big trauma to your brain, which is a fragile organ, so. Well, I learned a lot about comas. I just thought there was two different states.

You're in a coma or you're up in a walking. Though And the most and again, if you don't work in medicine, that is your perception, but it's like it's more nuanced. So when the doctor comes out and they said, I don't know when she's going to be conscious again, you don't know when they're going to be walking around to get like full consciousness is being able to walk around and like function like you were before. You can't know that.

That's impossible to know. But he could say, well, I expect her to come out of a coma in about four weeks. And if she could do that, then eventually she'll recover in about a year. But he could have told them those statistics. But like. This is more dramatic. That and also like, again, you got to ask doctors the right questions because like he answered correctly for what they were actually what the words they used, but like, it's a different language is what I'm

trying to say. OK, so let's go back to the scene. So Big Nung is confused because the doctor said she's safe, which like, again, the doctor's being real. He's like, yeah, I know she's in the Kilma stage, that's good. But like, I don't know what's going to happen after that. But again, they're not medical people. So like, I don't understand. I thought she was good. Why is she still unconscious? And Ping Pho, this is where I get taken out.

Ping, Pho responds. This is a side effect of when she stopped breathing. When did she stop breathing? OK, so it doesn't make sense this is a side effect of the TBI not stopped breathing. But I wonder if this line is indicating the severity of the the trauma, which I would expect her to have different different wounds. So it could be that like again, this doesn't make any sense.

I assume it means that she like underwent like cardiac arrest maybe which doesn't make sense because she wasn't injured enough to be like have enough bleeding to. I don't know why she would lose unless she the only thing she had an allergic reaction to like a Med they gave her and like had anaphylaxis because like her injuries don't make sense for like stopping breathing. Someone was eating a banana near her. Yeah, yeah. Or like, I mean, that can happen.

You give them anesthesia and you don't know if they're allergic to give it to them. That does happen, yeah. I, I guess it's just indicating that her trauma was so severe that, like, there was a degree of organ damage. But then that doesn't make sense to me because if she stopped breathing, she'd be intubated right now and on a ventilator to help her breathe. So like, there's no evidence that that actually happened here.

So. Or like even if she could breathe on her own at this stage in the coma, if she really really lost the ability to breathe, she would be mechanically ventilated right now as a way to protect her airway and like in case she loses the ability again if it was related to the TBI. So like this doesn't really make sense to me as a line, but I think it's like the trauma was bad is the the bottom line from this.

So my medical pet peeves aside, bottom line is that these two women are super worried about Lil Nung and they don't understand what's going on, which is totally reasonable because they're not doctors. And I get it in ping fee, even voices allowed. The worst case scenario is like if little Nong doesn't wake up, what do I do? Like what if she dies basically? In this moment, this is Pinkfa asking her best friend for advice. Yeah. Like the history is there, every

all current situation is gone. She needs her best friend. Yeah. 'Cause she needs someone there for her, 'cause no one else is there. They're like again, Chet and the grandmother. Grandmother is kind of there for little Nong, but they're they're both there for themselves yes yeah they don't and they also do not care how ping fuzz feeling most. No, nobody cares about how Ping Fuzz is feeling. No, no, not at all. And yeah, I like that you said

that. It's a friend asking her for advice and Big Dong has no answer for this. Like right away. She's just like, she just cries because this is her absolute worst fear. And it just became a very real possibility. Like coming from Ping Pho, who's in the room with Little Nung, you know, And I, I wouldn't like, I think this line of thinking, if Big Nung really thought it through, what if she never wakes up, would take Big Nung down a path that she'd

never recover from? Like, that's the darkest possible place, right? And so for her own benefit and for Ping Pho's her friend, she says Little Nung's going to make it out of this. She has to. OK, because I don't think Big Nun can live with the alternative, even if it's like hypothetical, and neither can Ping Pho, and Ping Pho is not in a good spot right now. So I'm glad that Big Nun says this because all they have right now is hope and statistics, right?

If she can make it out of the coma stage, it's a high chance she'll recover, right? OK, then we cut over to the next day. I don't know where Sam arrives at the Bua Palace and I assume off screen Auntie Nam contacted Sam because she's worried about Big Nung or Sam's spy at the palace contacted her. I was like, oh, I just say no, your sister's whiling out. If someone's a spy, it's just. And she's just. Yeah, she.

Definitely is a spy because she said it to Mon. She's bragging about it or no Mon ratted her out. She's like Sam doesn't know what's going on. One of her spies at the palace told her that Long Long was living with you again. Remember that scene? She definitely has a spy. She we know that mom told us all right. So Itty Dam thankfully tells us what time it is. She's like, it's been 2 days Sam since the accident and Big Nong's being weird.

So I assume Big Nong never left the room and was just like crying her eyes out clutching that doll for two days straight. And Itty Dam's biggest alarm is that Big Nong is refusing to eat. So that's the biggest red flag ever. If you know Big Nong and Sam ever the oh sorry, go ahead. I just said seriously, that's she's not lying. Huge biggest red flag. And Sam, ever the devoted sister, reassures AT&M. I'll take care of it. She's like heat up the kanji. Basically. I'm going upstairs.

And I assume with Sam, her experience taking care of the grandma was helpful to the scene because Big Nung and the grandma are very similar. So I think Sam has been training for this moment, whether she realized it or not, by being the caretaker of like Nung Senior, basically, who is the grand man. So Sam enters the room and it's pitch black. It is like death in this room. Like he's just ominous as fuck. And she comes in and the light from outside kind of hits Nung,

who is asleep. And like Big Nung like wakes kind of like wakes up because of the light and we can see that she's wearing different clothes. So like big Nung had the energy at least enough to like change clothing. So that's something. All right. And Sam gets on the bed and starts talking to Nung in a very soft voice and like is brushing her hair and like doing whatever she can to just be supportive in this scene.

And like Nung, the minute she wakes up starts crying and me like immediately starts crying and she just says, like, Sam, you're here. And like, I don't think Nung knows what the fuck's going on. She's just like Sam's here. And just like it's so evident to Sam that like Nung is not OK. And Sam's like, come on, Nung. Like if you, if you, if you keep staying in here and like not eating and moving, like you're going to get sick like and waste away.

And like, you know, I, she's basically Sam's like, I'm worried about you. That's why I'm here. And then Sam, just like she doesn't push Nung, she doesn't do anything else. She just pulls her no hug. And then just like let's Nung like hold on to her in like a death grip and just like cry. And that's really how the scene

ends. It's just Nung crying her eyes out, holding Sam. Imagine this was the opposite way when like their parents died and like this is the first time that Sam has to like comfort big nung that's probably. True. No, I was probably the one that had to comfort her sisters when they were sad over that. It had to be the strong one, you're right. So then Sam gets to like repay the favor. Damn, way to make that even sadder. I'm good at making things sadder, I told you that.

Caitlin is very good at making things sadder. Should we just end the episode here? I think we should. Oh yeah, yeah, this is the end of the episode. All right, so that was sad as fuck. Sorry guys, but at least it ends with Big Nung, so there's that It's big Nung, all right, so biggie energy award Personally, Big dawg, telling off the parents is probably the best thing, especially when she's like Chet, stop pretending like your father who loves her

daughter. Like can we stop take off the cosplay outfit? Like shut the fuck up Jed. I love that scene. I'm pretty sure that's the only big gay energy award. I I mean, Sam coming to the rescue at the end. Auntie Nim also like looking out for not like, OK, so like I bring up the song like dark blue like, because I think that's how big Nung feels sometimes. But like, here's the evidence that like she does have people who love her, who see her, who support her behind the scenes.

Like, you know, like Auntie Nim was knew her well enough to be like, she's not OK, It's been 2 days. Let me call Sam and Sam I assume was like fuck work I don't need to do work because she never works and just like immediately went to his Nung side and like she doesn't remember. She has. Work she doesn't remember.

Also like I do like that Sam came alone and didn't bring Mon. I love Mon. I'm not saying anything against Mon, but like this is a Sam didn't know what she's going to walk into and like came by herself to like because like like nong, I think like just needed Sam and so like I like that Sam came by herself to like come take care of Nong and didn't like bring Sam. I mean bring nong. So you like that she did that. Yeah, and fine. I hope your cheeks OK from that slap girl.

You didn't need to do that. I hope your eyes are OK, your cheek, your brain. I hope you're OK. Yeah, this is a lot of being sad as an actor. Like this must have been exhausting to film all of this. Like I'm sure the sleeping on the bed, which is her being fucking tired from all the crying. It's like what I said, action like damn it. This show is exhausting. For her, the show is exhausting. All right. Do you have any Taylor Swift songs for this? I think Exile is my song.

When we were happy because she was thinking back to like when they were happy. What's when we were happy? I don't remember that song. It's just most more likely. Well, no, the song is when it was good baby, it was good baby. All of and like, it's not necessarily that they broke up, but it's the fact that everyone else is getting in the way of them. Oh, yeah, 100,000 million

percent. Yeah. I think exile because, like, again, it's a conversation between one person who's like, this is your fault and the other one's like, no, it's your fault. And you couldn't see the signs of all this. And you still refuse. And you still refuse to take responsibility for the role you played in this falling apart. Like it's dung.

It's Taylor Swift in the song. And then like, the dude is like the family who's like, you never gave a warning sign you did all this and she's like, I gave a ton of signs. You're just refusing to take responsibility. Now we're in exile. We're not talking. And Nung's the one unfortunately being exiled from the situation. Oh yeah, Exile is definitely very good. The person who also agreed with me? I'm sorry, my dog is a pain in the ass.

The person who agreed with me on ours, like commented before I even brought it up, it was Pooja. Yeah, Pooja also brought up My boy only breaks his favorite toys. And I started actually singing that. And I I had to keep singing it because I was like, what song is this? And I was like, I have. To get to the chorus. So it's like starts here we are again, voices in this in I, I don't actually know the actual words, but it just the little bit I know matches like we're back here again.

It's always broken. Yeah, just won't be happy, man. I mean, we'll get there. It's just, you know, this is the traumatic injuries. Episode no. That's what Big Nun's thinking. Yeah, definitely what Big Nun's thinking. I mean, poor Big Nun. I don't even think she's capable of thinking at the end of the stage. She's just like dead inside. 'Cause like, she's not even really. She's literally like being kept in the dark like which is the

saddest. Imagine being her like your respective partner May you're being torn apart from by her family is now like she's in critical condition in the hospital and you're forbidden from like seeing her like that must drive her insane. You know what I mean? Like that part again, the control freak like she can't control any of this and she doesn't know what's going on. She's literally in the dark about what's happening. That must drive her crazy. So anyway, what did you guys

think of this episode? This was long as fuck because hello you're new here. Of course it is of course it is. So we'll be back to discuss the rest of episode 2. Who knows how many I mean two O 6.
