Simon's kindness has taken control of the retirement home, and Ezra Johnson is secretly appreciative of this fact. Then, Simon asks Ezra to take him to his church on Sunday, and Ezra lashes out at him verbally when they arrive there, but Simon shrugs off his attack and gently forgives him.
