Many believe, many don't believe. Jesus has brought division in the land. Some of the Jewish leaders believe in Him, while others want Him dead, and the man Lazarus He raised from the grave...they want him dead too! (Again? lol ) The division is real. There is no neutral. We are either for Him, or again Him.
Jesus raises His dear friend Lazarus....from the dead. Jesus is the resurrection, and the life.
Jesus tells us that the thief , or the devil, comes to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus has come that we might have life, and life to the fullest He is the Life

Not even half way through the book and we are starting to see how this is going to pan out. The Jewish leaders want to kill Jesus, while His followers want Him to establish the Kingdom and do all types of mighty signs and wonders. Jesus just tells them chill...it's not my time...yet. Do you love Jesus???
Longest chapter of the Book so far...but an excellent one. Multiple miracles, multiple testimonies that Jesus IS the One. Bottom line, believe and you will live. Or deny...and die
God bless family, we have another great chapter for you. The Jewish religious leaders go back and forth with Jesus, again, and of course our Lord gives them the business. Jesus says because you didn't believe in the Old Testament and prophets such as Moses, then they can't believe in Jesus and the One who sent Him. FYI, Old Testament and New Testament all point to one character....Jesus! May the God of Wisdom open your eyes hearts and minds...
Hey family! In this chapter Jesus visits a people that the Jews of His time did NOT mix with, the Samaritans. He even visits a shamed woman , somewhat of an outcast, and reveals Himself to her as the Messiah, and blesses her with the task of spreading the message to her fellow citizens. A strong case is being made, for Jesus truly being the Messiah. What are your thoughts up to this point???
One of the most important chapters of the entire Bible. Jesus tells us that we must be born again, Jesus tells us the He came to save the world, and Jesus tells us the great love of God, that He sent His only begotten Son to die for the sins of the world. Repent, for the Kingdom of Heaven is at hand
The second chapter of the Gospel According to John. Jesus performs His first miracle, and his disciples confess that He is truly the Son of God. Do you believe?
Today we begin reading the Gospel According to John, one of my favorite Books of the Bible. In this session we read all of chapter 1, where John the narrator of this book declares that In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word, was God.....and the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth. The last chapter of the Gospel According to Matthew....spoiler alert..."He has Risen"! As we come to a close, Jesus is tried, abused, and crucified, just as He predicted. His disciples for the most part abandoned Him. He has been placed in a tomb, and a stone has ceiled it shut. Guards are protecting the tomb to make sure no fanatics steal the body. Fear not...
We're coming to the end of the Gospel according to Matthew. Jesus predicts His betrayal, and the disciples scatter when Jesus is arrested. Peter, Jesus right hand man, denies Him three times. Fear not.
Shall we continue? In this passage, Jesus describes what the end of the age will look like, and how we should prepare for His return. Be encouraged!
