Hello everyone. Welcome once more to our show, featuring another insightful study in the Bible Prophecy Masterclass, Part 3. By way of reminder, these will be random studies taken from the Book of the Revelation, in so far as, although the presentation is divided up into a sequential series of episodes, we will conduct the lessons in the upcoming podcasts by arbitrarily selecting
themes in no set order, except as it relates to theme. On this sixth show, episode number 19 in the series, we will conclude our study of chapter 7 of the Book of the Revelation by witnessing the abundant harvest of souls, which will be the fruit of the labors of the 144,000, throughout much of the apocalyptic period. The text which is the basis for this study is Judgment Day, Volume 3, Armageddon, Acts of God vs. Gods of Earth, written by Mr. Alvin Mitchell. I, Liam,
will be your affable narrator and host. For a more systematic approach to the study of the Revelation, and, if you would like to contribute to this ministry aimed at preparing saints to warn the lost, may we suggest that you plan to purchase a copy of the text on Amazon.com,
when it becomes available. Please join me in a word of prayer and praise to God the Almighty for granting us this opportunity to delve into His Word, and for giving us these awe-inspiring warnings and powerful insights into His awesome plans for the future of mankind and of the world as we know it. Let us pray also for blessing upon the study and upon all who make time to join in
and to listen. Christians Murdered, Wave Number 2 Great Multinational Multitude, Back to Chapter 7 Chapter 7, Verses 9-10 Verse 9, After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands. Verse 10, And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne,
and unto the Lamb. Immediately following the sealing and the identification of the 144,000, John saw an innumerable multitude of people from every nation on earth, from all around the world standing and encircling the throne that seats God the Father, and the Lamb, wearing white robes, symbolizing the righteousness of Christ, as they hold palm branches in their hands, singing vociferously, Salvation to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb.
Verse 11, And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? And whence came they? Verse 14, And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb. Verse 15, Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple, and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
Verse 14 identifies this congregation of people as more Christians born during the tribulation, wearing white garments that have been washed in the blood of the Lamb, so that they are now outfitted with his imputed righteousness. Without doubt, they are the product of the work and the energies of the 144,000-strong special force of evangelism, and the power of the Lord God.
Verse 15, Moreover, these are the ones whose coming was, foretold and, promised to the saints under the altar, the ones already dead, having been murdered for their faith, a number of years earlier. In addition, in order to have arrived at this point, the church of the Lord God, which was the most important church of the world, was the most important church of the world. Verse 15, And the church of the Lord God, which was the most important church of the world,
was the most important church of the world. In addition, in order to have arrived at this point, they will have to have represented, among unbelievers, some of the most difficult of
prospective saints to reach. If the Old Testament tale and narrative of Israel's most wicked and most ignominious of kings is in any wise instructive, King Manasseh, some of these may even arrive at the foot of the cross with guilt-ridden consciences and bloody hands, having participated directly or indirectly in the roundup and slaughter of the first wave of tribulation saints, those were featured for us and shown under the altar of heaven, in chapter 6. Hunger and thirst no more.
Verse 16, They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more, neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat. Verse 17, For the lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters, and God shall wipe away all tears from
their eyes. Being the great multitude of multinational Christ-rejecting unbelievers that they will have been at the outset of the apocalypse, these people will have virtually gone through hell and high water as sceptics and doubters to arrive at this point only to be saved, before being themselves massacred and murdered for their faith in Jesus Christ.
This means then, that they, as unbelievers, will have seen, experienced first-hand, and survived the intense suffering and deprivation brought on by World War III, as well as during and throughout the period of the seal judgments, when God will step aside so as to allow the heart of every man, to express itself, saints-to-be, watching, in some case perhaps, if not participating, as their forerunners under the altar prefigure a heartless massacre that is
also their inevitable destiny. They will have been survivors of the exponential intensification of the ravages of World War III, when God the Son steps back into the picture, halting all wars between the nations, indirectly attacking humanity by severely weakening the earth's biosphere, destroying significant portions of the ecosystem in the process, as will be discussed in chapters 8 and following. All industry and commerce will have been brutally disabled, if not totally
decimated. The world's greedy industrialized economies will have been irreparably handicapped. Having been driven to their knees thereby only to be led to a saving faith by the 144,000, they will be the lucky ones. They will have survived the critical shortages of the barest of all of life's essentials these acts of God will bring, i.e., bread and water. In addition, they will have endured the malnourishment, thirst, and nagging hunger
pangs, and the beast, all without losing their faith in the Christ. Of these God says, they will never thirst, nor will they ever hunger, again, the Lamb will be their provider and sustainer, throughout all eternity, God will wipe away every tear they will have shed or will shed, during their own suffering, and afterward, knowing they have loved ones who did not make it, and so, will be lost for all eternity.
Only a preview At this juncture in the Apocalypse narrative, per chapter 7, the evangelistic Jews having only now been chosen, their work has yet to begin, hence, no soul has been won. Thus, the crowd from every nation and language dialect under the sun, standing before John, has neither been saved,
nor have they been killed. This is a preview of the aftermath of a grand, sweeping endeavor, led and conducted by the 144,000, yet to transpire, beyond the fact that they will work and evangelize throughout the period of the Trumpet judgments, leading up to and through the work of the two witnesses who only worked during the first 3.5 of the last seven years of the so-called Tribulation period, there is no way to ascertain the exact amount of time they, the 144k, will be given to
work. One can only surmise that it will take considerable effort, exertion, and time to reach the perhaps billion or so God knows can and will be saved, given ample occasion and pressure. Whatever the number to die between this point and the midpoint of the last seven years prior to the return of their Savior and Lord, the sum of all those to be killed, for sure, will not be reached until the beast assumes his throne.
In the end, these people in John's preview are the same ones portrayed in 15 colon 2 dash 6, where they will arrive, having been evangelized throughout this period stretching in all probability from the end of World War III, under the seal judgments, chapter 6, to the first days, weeks or months of the beast. They are the ones who will be greeted by the cold, heartless stare and frosty glare of that hell-infested monster, who will by no means warmly embrace their stoic
rejection of him as God of all the earth. None will ever bow to him, nor will they stoop to wearing his mark, even at the cost of their lives.
Sidebar Their presence here is symbolic, a kind of cameo appearance, as their bodies, once they are killed, will not be resurrected until after Armageddon, just before the millennial reign, looking across the 3.5 years plus, over which they will be won, and brought to a saving knowledge of the Christ, only to be killed during a final face-off with the beast, when they refuse his overtures and wu's to become their God, in fact therefore, at this particular juncture in the
apocalyptic narrative, they have not even been saved, or, killed or murdered yet, as the tribulation from which they are to be rescued by death has yet to occur, it is just beginning, hence, they will only be saved during this brief interlude, leading up to and into the early days of the reign of the dangerous wild animal. See Chapter 8 Poor verses 15 and 17, this multitude will serve before God who sits upon the throne,
day and night in his temple, as he lives among them. The Lamb who is the center of the Father's attention and deepest affection, as it was his blood spilled to make their presence possible, will lead them to living fountains of waters, symbolic of the presence and work of the Holy Spirit, who on behalf of the risen Christ, gives us now, as he will give us throughout all eternity, the eternal life promised, based upon his death, and resurrection, and the Father will dry their
eyes of all tears. Sidebar As for the significance of the living fountains of water, one need only refer back to our Lord's dissertations in John's Gospel where he talks with the Samaritan woman at the well about the gift of God, and living water, which he had power and authority to give. That water, said he, had the
capacity to become a well of water, capable of impartation of eternal life, 4.10-15. Later, in a temple, before the Jews and his mortal enemies, the Pharisees, during and on the last day of the feast of tabernacles, Jesus asserted that any one thirsty should come to him for refreshment. That one placing his faith, trust, and confidence in me, he declared, will have flowing out of his belly rivers of living water, 7.38. Verse 39 explains that he to whom he referred metaphorically,
as living water, was in fact the Holy Spirit of God. Thus, we are forced to conclude then that it is God the Holy Spirit who actually gives us eternal life, in the name, to the honor, glory, and credit of Christ the Son, and without him that eternal life would be utterly impossible, and inaccessible for, or to us. Might this, the Spirit, not be the missing ingredient denied to us at the fall,
affected by Adam's disobedience? If so, then if the Father of all mankind had eaten from the tree that leads to life, in either his sinless or fallen state, the Spirit of God would have taken up residence in their sinful, fallen persons, making it impossible for us to ever die. Or to ever be extricated from our flawed states. God made men to be a vessel within which he himself, through the medium of his Holy Spirit would live and express himself physically, eternally.
In light of the immense danger of being a Christian in the days of the apocalypse, their highly anticipated presence before the throne cannot but be the product of intense evangelistic activity begun and conducted by the 144,000 Jews who, as God's servants, are without doubt evangelists or preachers. Verse 11, And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped
God. Verse 12, saying, Amen, blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honor, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen. In reaction to the great company of people s praise, all the angels standing around the throne, together with the elders and the four living creatures, threw themselves prostrate before the throne in worship and praise, saying, Amen, blessing, glory, wisdom, thanksgiving, honor, power, and might to our God eternally. Amen.
