Revelation: Addendum #4: Ozone Depletion and the Active Denial Systems (ADS)

Hello everyone. We'd like to welcome you to Part 4 and the last installment of our addendums to the study of the Book of the Revelation, in which we have been presenting more supplemental insights that we deem crucial to a better understanding of this fascinating book. Our primary aim having been to round out the plausibility of the awesomely dreadful plans that God has for these end times in which we live.

Ozone depletion. Burned, but not consumed. As with the rest of the judgments scattered through this apocalypse, there is no credible reason to discount this one as merely symbolic. Knowledge of our surroundings, including our solar system, our galaxy, and the entire universe has increased tremendously within the past 106 years, as of 5 November 06. Our Sun, not unlike the 300 billion other Suns, called stars, in this galaxy alone is known to be a thermonuclear, pressure cooking dynamo.

This is true as well of the hundreds of billions on average found in the hundreds of billions of galaxies throughout the known universe. That is, our Sun produces energy in its pressure-packed core of roughly 230,000 miles diameter under unimaginable pressure, 340 billion times that of the Earth's 14 psi, at sea level, to be exact.

By forcing a collision between deuterium and tritium atoms to produce an explosion that releases an even higher level of energy, these atoms are hydrogen derivatives or isotopes. Having one proton but one and two neutrons respectively, as opposed to ordinary hydrogen, which has no neutrons. This collision causes an explosion, followed by a release of energy in the form of dangerous and deadly gamma radiation, leaving the Sun's center supercharged at around 27 million degrees Fahrenheit.

It has been suggested that the Sun has been so constructed that it takes these gamma rays the equivalent of roughly 2 million years to migrate from the Sun's core, through its approximately 330,000 miles of radiation and convection zones. to reach the surface of the Sun, having been downgraded and strength along the way from gamma to X-rays to ultraviolet light, where it leaves on its 8-minute, 93 million mile journey, at 186,000 miles per second.

To our Earth, in the two energy forms we know as visible light and heat, each critical to life on Earth. Thankfully, the Sun's gamma radiation, as such, never reaches the Earth. If it did, it would instantly destroy and vaporize the entire planet. Rather, having been substantially cooled, what began as extremely high frequency, exceedingly high energy, lethal gamma rays leave the Sun's outer surface as electromagnetic energy in at least three distinct frequency ranges.

Visible light, that range of electromagnetic frequencies which allows us to see, and infrared energy, those frequencies just below those of visible light, which account for the heat we need to survive. Comprising two of those ranges, ultraviolet radiation is the third.

The ultraviolet light within or accompanying the sun's energy that gives us vision and heat is the most dangerous of the trio. This light itself is divided into three distinct parts, or frequency ranges, UVA, UVB, and UVC, all harmful to some degree to human life on Earth. However, one frequency range, UVC, being of the highest ultraviolet frequency, is more dangerous than the other two parts.

It is this high energy component of ultraviolet light from which our entire world must be shielded at all times. If any substantial quantity should reach the surface of the Earth at any time, all life forms could be threatened. All life would be destroyed, or burned up if that shield were missing altogether, by this, the weakest of the sun's most dangerous radiation. What, then, is this all-important, indispensable shield, you ask?

The protective barrier surrounding and enveloping the Earth, entirely blocking the most harmful of the Sun's UV rays is called the ozone layer of the upper atmosphere, stratosphere. Ozone here passes all UVA, the least harmful, which causes skin cancer, and damages DNA, and only 10% of UVB, which is the cause of sunburns while blocking 90%. It blocks all UVC, the most dangerous.

Discovered by French physicists Charles Fabry and Henri Buisson in 1913, it was British meteorologist G. M. B. Dobson who made detailed studies of its properties. Developing a simple spectrophotometer capable of permitting measurement of stratospheric ozone from the ground. Over a 30-year period, beginning in 1928, he established a network of ozone monitoring stations worldwide, which is still in service today.

Since approximately the mid-1960s, it has been known that the ozone barrier is being depleted. In 1985, a huge hole was discovered in this layer over Antarctica. A significant increase in UVB has also, therefore, been noticed in this region. The hole itself is apparently not constant, as it is spoken of as if its appearance is irregular, coming and going on a more or less seasonal basis.

It generally forms in August, grows to maximum size by September or October, before breaking up and disappearing only to reappear the following August. In addition, with each appearance, the ozone hole grows larger. While as of 6 November 08, the hole measured 9.7 million miles square last year, this year it measured 10.5 million square miles in September. This is the fifth largest hole on record, to date.

The chief cause behind this phenomenal hole in the ozone layer is said to be entirely man-made, by virtue of his use of gaseous compounds containing so-called halicarbons, in various combinations. chlorine, fluorine, bromine, carbon, and hydrogen, and compounds containing only chlorofluorocarbons. Chlorine, fluorine, carbon.

The significance of this little exercise is quite simple. Mankind has once again stumbled onto a plateau upon which, while gloating and glorifying his own achievements, he has once more established what, thus saith the Lord. He can no longer poo-poo the possibility of a god weaponization of the sun as an instrument of punishment, with a view to, if at all possible, saving his soul, actually, at this point, in the end times drama.

That will not be possible, as, none will be savable, except for the as yet unsaved Jews, who will be safe havened in their unbelief outside of Jerusalem and Israel, somewhere in the desert. Any significant increase in the depletion of the ozone layer, which he himself can affect and to which he must therefore attest, would be enough to drive up the amount of UVB reaching the Earth. 10% of which already reaches and can cause relatively serious injury to the skin.

Hence, this prophecy is by no means merely symbolic, nor can it be reasonably spiritualized away, as is the practice of many of today's pulpiteers.

Active Denial System, ADS. In addition, it should be noted that the American military currently has within its inventory weaponry designed to produce exactly the kind of effect spoken of here by John the Revelator. Instead of reliance upon electromagnetic energy in the ultraviolet range, however, this weapon makes use of a portion of the electromagnetic spectrum more in the microwave range.

Nicknamed variously, the pain ray and the holy grail of crowd control, it is known in military jargon as the active denial system, ADS. The strength of the ADS weapon lies in its ability to inflict excruciating pain upon an adversary without killing him or doing serious bodily harm, no damage to the skin, thereby offering a strong deterrent to perceived undesirable activity. While eliminating the need for lethal force when and where it is not warranted.

This is a very desirable and much sought-after objective made possible by the fact that this machine generates and sends out what are called millimeter waves at 95 GHz. Being somewhat akin to microwaves, traveling at the speed of light, they strike and penetrate exposed skin to a depth of not greater than 164th of an inch.

There, they stimulate water molecules, heating and exciting them to a point where one experiences a painful, intolerable, burning sensation that is not unlike when one touches a hot frying pan. Or, when one comes into contact with the radiant heat from an open fire. At a cost of over$51 million, the ADS had been in the works for over 10 years prior to its anticipated initial deployment at the end of the year 2005.

As of early this year, March 13, 2005, that deployment had never materialized, and is not expected to do so now until sometime in 2010, if it does even then. One possible cause for this delay centers around possible conflicts of interest, concerns. It seems that, as the only facility testing and publishing reports on the device, the developer, the Air Force Research Lab, AFRL, conveniently forgot to mention that its energy waves can affect the eyes, possibly causing serious damage.

Regardless of whether ADS ever sees the light of day on the battlefield, or in law enforcement, regardless of how the Lord himself chooses to inflict this act. It represents no less yet another man-made, technological achievement that does nothing if not confirm and validate the reliability and credibility of the Word of the Almighty, all-powerful, all-knowing, living God.

That great city? The whore and the woman. The beast, death of the matrix. End of the Roman Empire As has been shown, the woman that John saw made her post, not on the back of the dangerous wild animal, as rather, she was poised strategically and positioned originally at the helm, perched atop the seven heads. And thus, well over the threshold of power and influence, which of course, means control, though not always absolute.

The woman is symbolic of Rome in two phases, one of those being a religious phase, synonymous with this fornicating, promiscuous great hooker, or prostitute. It is from this vantage point that she has been able to force herself upon multitudes of people all around the world. As the whore, her reach has in fact greatly exceeded and has outlasted that of the physical reach of the political aspect of the great city itself, and the empire it once controlled.

Without question, given the then critical state of affairs and dire circumstances the world will be facing, the popes will do all possible to leverage their way into prominence on the basis of whatever contributions they will have unwittingly committed to the rise of the beast. in whatever measure, preceding his death and resurrection, after which he will assume full control and turn on them. It has often been said of the Roman Empire that it was never felled by outside forces.

That is, none of the armies of its enemies, who were many, was ever able to conquer the Romans, the way the Romans had conquered them, except for the Celts, or Gauls, who did so early in Rome's history, but never again. Rome's fall, therefore, was internal, due largely to widespread corruption, decadence, and moral decay.

Sidebar. Following Rome's fall, the Empire lived on, albeit, with its seat located in Byzantium, an old city, resurrected from the dust of a prior destruction, rebuilt and renamed Constantinople, by Emperor Constantine. He moved the capital there in hope of greater protection from predator nations. It is now, and has been known as Istanbul, since about the days of World War I. The capital of the kingdom was there until 1453, when that kingdom was finally sacked for good by the Ottoman Turks.

After having been severely reduced in size and thereby weakened significantly by an attack from the Crusaders not long before, in twelve oh four. This was the fourth of seven or eight such crusades, launched by the original R.C. at the behest of the emperor in Constantinople. His kingdom had lost ground and territory, including Jerusalem, to the encroachment of Muslims.

The Byzantine Kingdom maintained its own brand of Catholicism, and over time, as all things Latin or belonging to the old Roman Empire faded into just a memory. Culture, contributions to the arts, architecture, literature, education, etc., having ground to a virtual standstill, introduced its own line of cultural distinctiveness as well. i.e., arts, literature, architecture, education.

As if in anticipation of fulfillment of the revelator's vision, Emperor Constantine took the first step toward setting the kingdom, the beast, up for its impending fall when he moved the capital from Rome, the political aspect of the woman, to the newly refurbished Byzantium, in three hundred thirty AD.

Emperor Theodosius I took the next major step with the appointment of his two sons, Arcadios and Honorius, to govern from Rome and from Constantinople, thereby dividing the kingdom in three hundred ninety-five AD. No kingdom divided against itself can stand. Jesus said, see Matthew chapter 12. Charlemagne committed this same fatal error, when he divided his Frankish empire amongst his grandchildren.

Fifteen years later in 410 AD, the western arm of this newly divided kingdom was sacked by the Visigoths. It was Odaacer the German who delivered the death nail that finally and forever put Rome out of business as a political force to be reckoned with in 476 AD. Thus, was ended the woman's political representation of that great city, as the Roman Empire ceased to be when the last emperor Romulus Augustulus.

Augustus was kicked out of office by this illiterate son of those who were formerly Germanic vassals to Rome.

Birth of the Great Whore, Rome's religious persona. Through all the twists and turns in the downward spiral that led to the fall of the Roman Empire, the original Roman Catholic Church remained very much alive. She did not fail to seize the moment to make her presence felt. With the departure of the last Caesar, came the rise of the Pope.

Some have said erroneously that they were actually Caesars, dressed up in religious garb, capitalizing on the remains of a perverted religious institution, which had greater promise than direct politics, thus allowing them to remain in power. In fact, the popes were the early leaders of choice in the church at Rome, deferred to by the people largely because they were landowners.

With them gone, came a freedom the apostate church and their chief bishops could never have enjoyed, had the king's Caesars been yet alive. She would not have been able to ride roughshod, effectively making fools of them, the way she did the succession of foreign kings who came and went following the collapse of Rome. Like her, they would not have tolerated competition of anyone whose power and influence rivaled theirs.

The popes were, in their own eyes, vicars, Christ's representatives on earth, i.e., surrogates for God, in some sense. The Caesars demanded recognition as gods. Such as was left of the kingdom was kept intact by these popes. things, expanding where they could, and winning, ostensibly, actually compelling, new converts to Christ often by the cross of a sword, i.e., by tormenting, imprisoning, and even killing.

Murdering all who dared not bow in submission to Roman Catholic authority, particularly, Jews, for centuries. Thus, the freedom she gained from the passing of the Caesars was not passed on to or shared with her parishioners. In the early years of apostasy, the Pope's office, called the papacy, was viewed as one limited to filling the shoes of the Apostle Peter, i.e., the Pope was viewed as the vicar of Peter, Vicar.

The Bible knows of no such substitutes for either Peter or for any others of the apostles. Once they were gone, their purposes having been served, there was no need for replacements, and, certainly, no pope is ever in any way, to any degree, a surrogate for Christ. Moreover, the term Pope translates words in the Latin and Greek, papa, and papas respectively, each of which means father.

Thus, the practice of calling their spiritual head, Father, Among Roman Catholics is diametrically opposed to the clear admonition of Jesus himself to the Jews. Do not call any man on earth your father, because there is only one who has that right, that is your Heavenly Father, Matthew 23 verses 8-12. It was begun in the early years of apostasy in 304 AD, with Marcellinus, who was bishop of Rome at the time.

The Pope's authority was essentially limited to that which was ecclesiastical, church-related, within a jurisdiction known as the Holy See. By the days of Pope Galasius I, who advocated papal supremacy over the patriarch, The Roman Synod of four hundred ninety five had begun to use the designation Vicar of Christ in an apparent bid to boost the papacy to a higher level of authority.

Particularly over the Byzantine church leadership, with whom there was an intense rivalry for dominance for a time, as well as over the political leadership, ethnarchs, of the various ethnic groups within the church's reach.

Throughout the coming centuries, as the various segments of the old Roman Empire sifted through the various fingers of one invader after the other, The Visigoths, Odaacer, the Ostrogoths, the Byzantines, the Lombards, and the Franks, etc., etc., the popes were able to secure an enclave of extensive lands within what is now the state of Italy, dominated and controlled by the Church and its own appointed church officials.

As one of the owners of the most land in Italy following Rome's demise, and the one having the most prestige, Rome's bishop became the de facto political ruler, while at the same time remaining the church head. It was to him that the people deferred for leadership and guidance in matters political, as well as religious. These lands became known as the Papal State.

From here, though not much of a temporal power, in that she controlled no armies of her own and no territories beyond the Papal State. This religious institution, actually a co-mingling of corrupted Christianity and politics, that reduced the church at Rome to a character God sees as an entity reminiscent of Babylon the Great. was able to project and to establish herself as an arbiter in the politics of the medieval period.

Wielding immense political leverage, she was often an essential, balancing act between the various, often antagonistic, Germanic kings of that era. This feat was accomplished in part through the spinning and spewing of her false doctrine, to meet whatever the challenge, at any given turn. Thus, she ensured her independence and dominance, perched still atop the hilly heads and ghostly remains of a gutted, long-defunct kingdom.

For whatever the reason, she, the papacy, is said to have been especially coveted by those among the wealthy and powerful of the Germans. Of all the events that characterized and colored the deeds and misdeeds of the papacy, perhaps none more demonstrated the influence and the ruthlessness of the great horror than did the Crusades.

Originally called, not Crusaders, but the Faithful of Peter, or the Knights of Christ, or some similar name, it was the popes and their papacy within the Great Whore who benefited the most from their rampages, in and out of Palestine. Interestingly, when Alexis I, king over the Eastern Kingdom centered in Constantinople, needed help driving the Muslims out of territory formerly his.

He did not go to the European kings in the background, squatting on old Roman lands. Rather, he went to the Pope, who commanded no army of his own. The Pope in turn prevailed upon those kings and their armies by baiting them with theological lies about absolution and sins remitted, upon one's death in battle, the inference being such that dying anywhere else but not in the right battle.

or living through them all, would result in no sins forgiven. In this manner, the first of the crusades was formed and launched in ten ninety five AD with the blessings and encouragement of Pope Urban II. Upon acceptance of his Byzantine rival's request for assistance and retaking his lands from the Seljuk Muslims, Pope Urban II is said to have seen an occasion, whereupon he seized the moment and went after Jerusalem as well.

Hereby, herein, the Pope's crusaders double crossed the Byzantine king, keeping Jerusalem and all the lands they reclaimed, in the interest of the papacy. As the Pope's marauding crusaders set about doing the will of God, practically no one was safe. Anyone who crossed religious authority was subject to visitation via crusade. Consequently, many Hungarian cities were pummeled and destroyed.

Poland was later subjected to conquest by Crusade by virtue of Prince Leszek I. The whites' refusal to join, never mind the fact that they were part of the Catholic Church system. Worst of all was the horrible, dangerous, often deadly anti-Semitism revealed during and that pervaded the Crusades. Remember, they were hatched and launched by the Catholic Church.

There was positively no concern in Rome for the well-being of the Jews caught in the middle of what might be viewed essentially as a three-way struggle for dominance, quite in keeping with the Lord Jesus' warning, as it played out at their hands, the time will come. Jesus assured his disciples that men will kill you, thinking that they are doing service to God.

This church and its theological virus being the chief, fundamental cause behind anti-Semitism throughout the centuries, in Russia and Europe, Jews are said to have been slaughtered wholesale. The killings occurred both in the Rhineland and throughout Europe, Germany, Hungary, France, England, along with many innocent people and Byzantine Catholics, who sought to offer them sanctuary and safety on church property.

Jews were murdered by the crusaders as they journeyed toward the promised land, to be absolved and to have sins remitted. And in the Holy Land when they arrived, in Palestine and Syria, although in fact no crusade was ever launched specifically to eradicate any Jew.

Herein lies the justification in God's observation and accusation, such that the woman was drunk by virtue of the blood of the saints, who would never submit to her will, or to her authority, choosing death instead. By consequence of the Crusades, social standing of Jews who survived was substantially worsened throughout Western Europe, and, together with an increase in legal restrictions, came more anti-Jew legislation issued by Pope Innocent III.
