Daniel 9:24-27 – Past, Present or Future?

Bob Hunt begins a consideration of the timing of the events described in Daniel 9:24-27 in this verse-by-verse examination. Are these events entirely in the past? If they are, then many of the Premillennial or Futurist views of end-times stand on very shaky ground. What arguments are used to support a past tense view? How should a Futurist respond? The importance of this issue is enormous. It will impact much of a person’s understanding of the end-times. In this part one episode, Daniel 9:24 will be examined. Daniel’s Seventy weeks will be explored and an explanation of why a literal 490 years is the best way to look at this time period.
