We spend a great deal of time asking for more from God. Sometimes we would do well to take inventory of what have already been given. Spend some time journaling through some of the inheritance that God has already given you. Psalm 16:6 "The lines have fallen to e in pleasant places; Yes, I have a good inheritance."
Have you recently made a vow before God and haven't followed through? Have you been quiet enough to hear from Him? Commitment seems to be a thing of the past in our day. Is it more important than we've given credit? Ecclesiastes 5:1-7 "Do not be rash with your mouth... therefore let your words be few."
Each week we pick a specific passage from the days yearly Bible reading plan and challenge one another to an actionable step. This podcast is us sharing our experience then with the challenge and finally challenging you (The Listener) to do the same thing.
In this episode Pastor Dave shares his experience receiving a life giving rebuke. The specific passages we are engaging with this week are Proverbs 15:31 and Psalm 2 Proverbs 15:31 - "The ear that listens to life giving rebuke will dwell among the wise."
In this episode Pastor Keith shares his experience receiving a life giving rebuke. The specific passages we are engaging with this week are Proverbs 15:31 and Psalm 2 Proverbs 15:31 - "The ear that listens to life giving rebuke will dwell among the wise."
This week we challenged each-other, and now challenge you to read some pretty heavy passages about God's creation, while in the midst of it! After meditating on His Glory, declare His wonderful works to someone! Our specific challenge passages are Job 38:8-11 and Psalm 145:4-5. Be blessed in your time with The Living Word!
