On Tuesday, 7 Jun 2022, former policewoman and mother-of-four Ms Reema Razif posted on Facebook detailing her thoughts and motivations behind her decision to quit the The Singapore Police Force (SPF) including having been told that her performance grade was affected by her pregnancy.
The next day, SPF released a statement saying that it does not penalise officers who are pregnant, and takes a firm stance against workplace discrimination practices within its ranks.
