Julie Summers has written an incredible book about her life, "Off My Knees: From  Skid Row to Sunset Blvd. The setting is in Hollywood, CA and she recently won an IRWIN Literary Award from the Book Publicists of So. Calif. for the Best Advance PR Campaign for a book. Set to be a best-seller and a provocative movie, at 18 she was raped then she became an unwed mother having to give up her son for adoption. After years of searching for her son, she finally found him and they got along rather well until he committed suicide. She got into prostitution (on the advice of her attorney), got into drugs, spent time in jail, became a mistress for a guy who actually taught her how to make money in real estate and eventually selling a 24 apartment building that she owned in West Hollywood, CA. She then got involved in the community and recieved many award for her commendable service. What a story to hear!
