Today we put the spotlight on a topic near and dear to my heart, the imperfections of becoming a doctor. I always mention that medical training is difficult in my interviews and I always ask my guests if they would change anything that got them to where they are today...and almost unanimously the answer is no. Dr. Kay is a huge physician advocate and uses her platform to normalize some of the difficulties we all experience as we seek to pour into our patients..while struggling to sometimes pour into ourselves.
