Also on the podcast, Vitale discusses his passion for helping children in need, specifically through his 11th Annual Dick Vitale Gala, which will be held on May 13 in Sarasota, Fla., to honor coaches across many sports and raise money for cancer research. Net proceeds of Vitale's event will support the V Foundation's continued effort to find cures for pediatric cancer.
