Vicky O Neon - drummer & educator

Finnish and female, this drummer and educator based in the UK is co-founder of the non-profit organisations Girls Rock London and Rock Donna as well as an active performer and creator with credits including Hans Zimmer, Pharrell Williams, Clean Bandit and Drumathon Live 2020. Within lockdown life she managed to release 2 songs with Brian May of legendary British band Queen and went on to create a 12 episode YouTube series named Drumming through the Decades covering the evolution of the drum kit, rhythms and genres, highlighting female identifying drummers &. musicians. A champion shining a deserved light on female musicians through educational platforms, she moves consistently towards reducing gender gaps and inequalities within the drum and music industry.
