Episode description

Kris & David are guestless as we discuss the almost-week that was May 19-23, 1995.

  • We start off with WCW, where we talk about Slamboree PPV, the last to have the “Legends Reunion” theme, including Gordon Solie's "surprise" hall of fame induction, plus everything else on the show like Ric Flair injuring Angelo Poffo. We also talk about this show doing a subpar buy rate, even with a lot of star power, as well as a rare syndicated angle for this era involving "Dos Amigos" and a lot more.
  • In Japan, we talk about all the happenings in AJPW, NJPW, and the indies, along with Canada & Mexico, before heading back to the U.S., where we talk about a big weekend for Smoky Mountain Wrestling that didn't deliver at the box office, Downtown Bruno forming a new Downtown Connection in the USWA, the Fabulous Freebirds reuniting (again) in the AWF, and much more.
  • The World Wrestling Federation closes the show, as we talk about Shawn Michaels making his return from “injury” as a babyface against King Kong Bundy on Monday Night Raw and how Bam Bam Bigelow became the biggest third wheel in wrestling history next to him and Diesel, plus Bob Backlund running for president, Bret Hart going Attitude Era on Jerry Lawler two years early, and so much more.

We’ve got an action-packed show this week with some great clips, so don't miss out!!!
