Episode description

Emotional decisions most likely come from recency bias.

In today's Better Wealth Breakdown, Dan and I talk about the topic of “Recency Bias” which is the concept that whatever information you most recently consume becomes the thing that you tend to consume your thoughts, discussion and conversations immediately after. Usually recency bias is a key factor why we make more emotional decisions and then have it fade away so quickly. Dan and I challenge listeners to ask “Where in your life  can you relate to recency bias?” Also, I suggest that the solution to recency bias is being really clear on what your outcomes are and being clear on what you should be saying yes to and then saying no to.

Listen as we discuss different ways we can battle and push away from recency bias.
