Episode description

Welcome to the Hangover: Part II! Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve, and C.A.P. got together on the heels of Best Friend Weekend Weekend Phase II to discuss the week that was and shed some light on why we disappeared for a week. Rumble Williams got us started with some talk about Southern people not being as country as their reputations may suggest (01:00) which was a perfect segue to us running through the events of the weekend (08:00). After laughing about Atlanta cats, shouting out the homies, and realizing we are too old to drink out of the same bottles (18:00), we had some brief football talk about bad fantasy trades (19:00) and college football players transferring schools (28:00). The second half of the podcast found us discussing two major societal stories from the week. Should Bill Cosby be in jail and why the imbalance of power plays a major role in this story (36:00)? And should Brett Kavanaugh be on the Supreme Court with old sexual assault claims swirling around him (46:00)? A bigger question to ponder was why do some people only care about sexual assault when it comes to select perpetrators? We wrapped up the podcast with our thoughts about raising young men in 2018, putting ourselves in the shoes of someone being sexually harassed (54:00), and Aldo having Nothin’ NICE to Say about teachers who are forced to give students grades they didn’t earn (1:04:00).
