Episode description

It’s just a podcast. But it’s also a platform. It’s also a voice. Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve and Los aka C.A.P. got together this week to give our thoughts on final week of August 2020. Rumble Williams got things started with his thoughts on black folks not stepping up at the right time (01:00) which turned into a talk about being consistent and #NationalDogDay (04:00). Next, Aldo let us know What Burned His Boudin this week including appropriate social media reaction buttons (07:00), penises everywhere (09:00), asking for CVV (12:00), “ESPN is too liberal” (15:00) and people who claim to be independent (23:00). Of course, the major topic we chose to discuss this week were the most recent police shootings of black men. We gave our thoughts on the Trayford Pellerin and Jacob Blake shootings in Lafayette and Kenosha, respectively (25:00), and the sports world’s reaction, especially the NBA’s boycott (46:00). After inducting Chris Brown into the Don’t Miss List (1:02:00), Aldo had Nothin’ NICE to Say about the gangster they call Megan Thee Stallion (1:12:00). We wrapped up this episode with some thoughts on the Ruff Ryders documentary (1:21:00) and some hurricane stories (1:26:00).
