Episode description

With one week to go until Best Friend Weekend Phase 3.6, Aldo NICE, Rog Smuve and Los aka C.A.P. linked up to run through some funny stories and interesting events of the past week. Rumble Williams led off with his thoughts on a watered-down Black History Month (01:00) which led us to talk about great inventions and our favorite ‘characters’ from Black History. After running down the events of BFW Houston (16:00), we talked about the Lovers & Friends Festival, particularly if we think it’s real and who are the top performers on the card (20:00). Next Aldo let us know What Burned His Boudin this week including miscolored emojis (32:00), twins (36:00) and red vines (38:00). In keeping with the theme of black history, we discussed Deontay Wilder’s last fight and the implications for black people (43:00) before running down the topics of Real IDs (53:00), early voting (1:00:00) and Zion’s first matchup with LeBron (1:03:00). We wrapped up the pod Aldo having Nothin’ NICE to Say about a NOLA obituary (1:10:00), Rog’s weekly NFL segment and some durag talk (1:15:00).
