Big Mo grew up in Queens, New York. While attending North Carolina A&T, Big Mo played Aggie football and worked at the campus radio station, WNAA. Working at WNAA brought him much joy, allowing him to meet lots of people, including major artists. It was there that he met up with Terrance J, who encouraged him to give an “air check” to 102 JAMZ. When he did, he began making waves. This was the beginning of his career in the industry. Big Mo has made it a constant effort to continue networking and be a person of the people. Critics prayed his downfall, but now he is the Music Director of 102 JAMZ, gaining praise from those same critics. Friends would describe Mo as loyal, kind-hearted and a Ride or Die. Mo loves to travel, and lives by the mantra “work hard, play harder”.
