Episode 395 - (No)Excuses

On this week's podcast.... We look back a Covid stricken Benfica, and our matches against Braga in the semifinals of the League Cup, and another league game in which we find a way to lose points. Covid has hit the team hard, but can Covid be an excuse for a Braga game which we could have won, and a Nacional game where we played for 15 minutes? We discuss both sides of the Covid coin, and try once again decipher what is going on with this team. In the second half, we look ahead to the Portuguese Cup quarter finals against B-Sad, and the Derby against Sporting at the Alvalade where a only a win is good enough. We discuss the scenario of a loss, and wonder if there is also a bad spell for Sporting, which could keep the league still within reach in the event of a loss.
