  • Cheryl Taylor-Smith, a Brooklyn resident and lifelong educator, has completed her new book “One Hundred Letters: From Me to You”: a thoughtful look at one woman’s early schooling and the many experiences that shaped her into becoming a life-long educator. The author regales the reader with fond memories of growing up in Brooklyn, including romances, school, and summer jobs (to name a few). Memories of difficult times, race riots and an alcoholic step-father serve as a source of inspiration and strength for one woman’s successful career.
