Ep 87. Solo Episode: 4 Years of Sober! The Highs, Lows and Everything in Between

In this week’s solo episode, I’m celebrating four years of continuous sobriety and in the spirit of stepping out from behind the smile, I wanted to reveal the reality of what this journey has looked like. Let’s call it, the not so sexy side to sobriety.  I’ve divided the years into eras, with each era being a rollercoaster of challenges and growth. From those early days in rehab, to navigating recovery in a global pandemic, losing a baby, a divorce, a toxic situationship, to discovering my true self, falling in love and undergoing a complete transformation of mind, body and spirit, these past four years have been quite the journey.  To say it’s been easy would be misleading, but I don’t regret getting sober for one minute. It’s hands down been the best decision I’ve ever made in my life.  To those of you who’ve played a part in my recovery, big or small, I deeply thank you.
