With 25 years of professional coaching, scouting, front office & playing experience Eric brings a diverse breadth of expertise as Pitch IQ’s Founder & Principal. Following a fourteen year playing career as a pitcher he has spent the previous eleven in various roles with the San Diego Padres. As minor league Pitching Coordinator for six seasons and AAA Pitching Coach / Manager in 2021, he oversaw the organization’s pitching development program with particular consideration for the throwing program fundamental.
As California League Manager of the Year for 2022, Eric led the Lake Elsinore Storm to a California League championship and currently instructs both MLB & MiLB players on the mechanics of throwing.
