Dr. Haydn Kissick is an Assistant Professor in the Division of Translational Research in the Department of Urology with a joint appointment in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology at Emory University School of Medicine. He received his PhD in Immunology from the University of Western Australia and did his postdoctoral training in Prostate Cancer Immunology at Harvard Medical School. He is also the PhD advisor for our executive producer Carey Jansen. We discuss his personal and professional journey and the things he has learned about the “philosophy of science” as he has started his own lab.
