NBC Universal is splitting their corporation into separate entities. NBC Universal will maintain Bravo and Peacock...while their struggling cable networks will be part of a new company named Versant. NBC is distancing themselves from MSNBC...and will no longer be allowing MSNBC to be associated with the NBC brand.
We discuss MSNBC ceasing to exist...and having to rebrand themselves to MSNOW. We question the new name for MSNBC...and also discuss whether MSNBC will go through a full rebrand. We explain why we doubt MSNBC will rebrand itself...and question the long-term viability of the network.
