The 2017-18 season is (finally) here! In this week’s episode of Behind Kentucky Basketball, hosts Metz Camfield and Brent Carney recap the Wildcats’ final exhibition game and preview the first three games of the season against Utah Valley, Vermont and No. 4/3 Kansas.
UVU is led by former Kentucky national champion Mark Pope, Vermont is the unanimous preseason favorite in the America East Conference and Kansas is a top-five team looking to win its 14th consecutive Big 12 title. There are plenty of questions surrounding this young, inexperienced Kentucky team, but it’s clear we will all know much more about the Cats after these three games.
