Tom Scharpling is the host of the weekly-call in program The Best Show on WFMU. Tom is also one of the best straight men in comedy, and uses his skills in the duo Scharpling and Wurster. Recently Tom has begun to direct music videos for groups like Ted Leo and the Pharmacists and The New Pornographers, and on this episode of Field Guide we talk about the trailer he made for John Hodgman’s new book.
