On today's show we talk to stand-up and writer Aparna Nancherla. Currently a writer for FX's Totally Biased, Aparna is a wonderfully absurdist comic whose credits include being named as one of LA Weekly‘s “12 Comedy Acts to Watch” and Last Comic Standing. She's also appeared around the country at numerous festivals including SXSW, the Bridgetown Comedy Festival and the SF Sketchfest. In mid-June, Aparna came over to Andy's Harlem apartment on a warm but not-sweltering day to talk about pirate dogs, parental programming, the suburbs, fantasy realms and living in your head.Check out our new website for Beginnings, subscribe on iTunes and see some live dates: Andy will be in coversation with J.J. Sedelmaier on July 30th at UCB East, and the next live episode will be August 6th!
